We like your art for what it is, and encourage you to keep making it, because that's what the core of being an artist is. The ability to write, draw, create, whatever it is that drives you, and literally nobody ever can take that away from you. Those kids with the shitty stories and self inserts built a fandom from the ground up, wrote and drew their characters just because they wanted to. If you don't care for it, make your own art, or move elsewhere.

Quick rant on some stupid discourse

“This fandom doesn’t take horror seriously!1!!1!1 it’s just a bunch of ocs!1!1!1!1😡” Bro, Creepypasta has always been goofy af. Even the word“Creepypasta” sounds goofy. Literally every Creepypasta Character is someone’s oc, made my a traumatized angsty teen or young adult in 2011-2016. You expect us to read some silly shit like Jeff the Killer and be shaking in our boots? (Still like Jeff btw) Get real. I like the “realistic and scary” portrayals of the Creepypasta characters too! But I also love fanon. This fandom was literally based off fun. I hate when ppl come with this “im better than you” mindset bc they don’t like fanon/ want them to be scary only. I really can’t stand it. This fandom has always been based on fun and comfort. Everyone made the popular Creepypasta characters for fun and sometimes to vent/ be a self insert. Ppl are acting like we didn’t have comics and fics where they lived in a mansion together and chilled like a family with a y/n insert because ppl were comforted by these characters , myself included. Ppl act like we didn’t always have goofy/ silly fan art. Ppl act like these aren’t vent characters that brought comfort to lots of ppl. Ppl act like the creators themselves didn’t make silly, goofy fun content with their own characters. (Laughing jack, ticci Toby, bloody painter, etc for example all their creators drew them/ portrayed in fun ways in content I still rewatch) Let’s not forget our roots. Creepypasta (the character based side of it) is still so loved and popular because of the fun stuff like that that people can look back on fondly. Why does it make you so mad that ppl want to use the characters differently than you/ make fanon content? So these “ocs” are only decent/ okay when you use them your way and have your seal of approval??? Please be serious. This is coming from someone who likes Fanon and canon. One isn’t better than the other. You’re not better than everyone else because you want to make them “realistic and scary” let that mindset go. Let people have fun. Let people find comfort where they want. Seeing people having fun and being comforted shouldn’t make you mad. The block button exists and is free. Just block them and only interact with the side of the fandom you want to see. There’s multiple sides of it. I block content I don’t want to see all the time. Doesn’t mean I hate these people or their content, I just don’t want to see it personally. But I don’t go around unironically shaming people for content I don’t like. Because that’s dumb. (Unless it’s something awful like using offenderman, demonizing mental illness etc I have called people out for this, semi - respectfully before) Shaming people for not portraying Creepypasta characters made my angsty teens and adults in the way you specifically want to see them/ be portrayed is just so silly. Nina's "origins"

like most creepypastas, I don't like Nina's original story. (lol) so here's my just as shitty version.

nina, in my world, was still a jtk fangirl. she heard his story on the news and was captivated by his mugshot. (definitely the type to romanticize true crime) she began emulating his chelsea grin with makeup and posting abt her infatuation w him on her social media.

this fixation on Jeff opened a door to the slenderman, which it gladly stepped through. like any edgy teen being stalked by an eldredge horror would, she began to document her experience w the monster on her verious social media outlets.

to prevent further exposure of the proxies n what not, nina was due to die. in the midst of her kidnapping, she expressed her interest in working alongside the monsters that stalked her.

in a rather sitcom-y way, nina was now a part of the problem, if u will. working w her fav serial killers </3

her style

clothing:

apart from being engrossed in the emo/scene culture, her clothing style is heavily influenced by the early 2000s. she loves all things gaudy and over the top, often resulting in a hot topic explosion.

intrests:

most likely influenced by her style, her interests in angsty media should be noted. she's an avid reader of johnny the homicidal maniac, death note, and other media in the like. her fave bands include- sleeping w sirens, get scared, msi, and blood on the dance floor.

(while on trips into town, she makes it a point to stop by the local nerd shop to stalk up on (rob) her favs.)

let's just say she's very reckless. she leaves behind crums of evidence everywhere she goes. at this point, she's stopped making an attempt to hide her tracks.

she gets a little too into the killing thing- often being playful and flirting w her victims. she sees it all as one big game and definitely believes she's invincible.

relationships

-jane is her person, the perfect amount of balance and authority that counteracts her crazy. jane sees nina as a person in need of guidance and maybe a bit of parenting. nina sees jane as a big sister of sorts and often comes to her for advice and to confide in.

-toby is her bestie. point, blank, period. those two get into a little too much trouble together. they became close via the long drives that resulted from their extensive missions. at first, nina had the hots 4 toby but soon grew out of them infavor of his friendship.

fun lil tid bit- they like to sit in eachothers company while they read. nina reads her manga/comics and toby his books.

-jeff,, well jeff, for obvious reasons, isn't too found of nina. he finds her annoying and tiring, which is rich coming from him. he does his best to avoid her, but when the unavoidable is unavoidable, she ignores him. they say never meet ur idols and boy, they weren't kidding. all that time fantasizing abt her prince rly didn't match up to the sleazy prick she now works w. let's just say they don't get along.

-as 4 the majority of the creeps, there seems to be a consensus that nina is annoying af, and shes to be avoided. (rip nina)

if you want to get a recap of drama you would otherwise not know or care about:

both geoff marshall and jago hazzard do very interesting & informative videos mainly focusing on the transport for london network but also going further afield. mostly shorter form content but there are a couple of interesting longer ones like geoff's video about riding every tfl bus

i find noel phillips' videos interesting from a pov of exploring various niche airlines but i can't lie him talking to camera on an otherwise silent plane & also surreptitiously recording his interactions with airline staff DOES give me potent second hand embarrassment and genuine moral qualms respectively so tread carefully on those ones i suppose

if you want oddly satisfying content

HOOF TRIMMING VIDEOS!! if you just want something clean and satisfying watch horse hoof trimming vids. if like me you don't mind or arguably even prefer complex & occasionally graphic medical cases then cows are where it's at. the big two cow hoof youtubers - mootubers, if you will - are the hoof gp (scotland based, mix of straightforward short form trims and longer vlog style videos, more comedy & banter sprinkled throughout) and nate the hoof guy (usa based, more straightforward and calm delivery, come for the hooves stay for his commenters' absolute vendetta against the hoof gp under nearly every single video)

i love girl with the dogs for dog/cat grooming videos. she has two channels, one with very short (2-5 min) grooms and another with longer (15-20 min) more in depth videos

back in my last year of undergrad i got really into soap making videos. mainly watch royalty soaps who can be... a bit gratingly cheerful in her delivery but if you don't mind that the actual content is very relaxing to watch

Hello, do you enjoy when people change the creeps? For example, change their race? Height? Etc? Like when I see that with some fanart it bothers me.

Since you are changing the characters and what did you see that needed to be ‘fixed’? I know some creepypasta creators are problematic and not the greatest but at least keep their characters how they envisioned them. Because these fanon characters are dookie to me.

What are your thoughts?

For me, I honestly don't care, everyone can have their own view of the characters that doesn't change anything in anyone's life. I myself have my own view of some characters, for example, for me, Nina is black and why not? Because if there's something that bothers me a lot about canon characters, it's that all, if not most, are white, thin and most of them even have light eyes. What I saw most of Canon representation in this fandom was Toby, who is disabled, and Cat Hunter, who is Latino.

Like, you can count on your fingers how many characters are not standard, not to mention their bodies, where everyone is either thin or muscular and tall. The only character closest to being fat that I saw was Tim, but he's not even a creepypasta and he's a real guy, and yet there are people who draw him as a twink. Of course, it makes a lot more sense for them to have athletic bodies since they are all killers or human hunters, but not everyone will be tall and have 0 percentage of fat.

And that's not to mention that everyone is always represented as if they were models and with facial features considered beautiful, even though they have horrible scars and wounds. And let's agree that it doesn't make much sense for the story of most of them since a good part of the creeps were socially excluded, if they were very beautiful that would be different, pretty privilege exists.

But representation in this fandom isn't that great, I don't see many famous artists drawing them in any other way,When the characters' ethnicity, height and weight change, it's usually one or the other and you never see that again. I believe it's because the fandom itself doesn't value this, since I've seen people get hurt when they draw Nina or Jane as black women. Besides, they only give attention to male, young and white characters with an acceptable appearance as i already said in my post on how to create a famous creepypasta oc.

So I prefer to change some characters in my conception to be more realistic, since real people have differences, have different ethnicities and non-standard bodies most of the time. I've never written how I hc the characters but maybe I can do that someday, I know not everyone won't like it, because I won't always see them as young and pretty, especially the guys. Maybe I'll get hate for making them like real human beings 💀

But anyway, this was just another rant from me and I'm not going to express too much of my opinion to avoid getting hate here. because I know that this fandom is run by fangirls and so it's better that way to make more attractive fanfics and smuts, and gain more views with fan art. So just don't take it as an attack or something personal, because it's just my opinion and how I think and whether I share it or not, our life remains the same.

I'm a big fan of your SMT 4 Apocalypse art... not gonna lie I've become a fan of Asahi/Toki because of it. You have any headcanons to share for the pair?

First of all I’m so glad to hear that you like my art and that the tosahi proaganda is spreading like a virus.

Second of all! Absolutely! I like to think they’re absolutely an introvert/extrovert kinda couple. Toki is very unsure in social situations (as hinted at by some dialogue in the game), mainly due to her sheltered upbringing in the Ring of Gaia and almost no contact to kids her age. She is however very street smart and knows her business in combat. Asahi is like the complete opposite, being raised in a bar and constantly being around other people and having a mainly intact family, she is quite open to other people and knows her way around making new friends and sussing other people out, but holds herself back in combat.

Toki is super clingy when it comes to her girlfriend, often standing wordlessly next to her and even glaring at anyone (often not even intentionally) who interacts with her. Whenever she catches anyone being rude to Asahi while she’s working, Toki will throw them out. During the start of their relationship she often wore Asahis clothes until she later bought her own drip(leaving the Ring of Gaia she basically had to leave her belongings there). Toki loves listening to Asahi ramble no matter what (often about bar stuff and hunter quests). If creepypastas are a thing in Tokyo in 2038, you know Tokis knee deep in that slenderman lore, she has some serious wierdgirl vibes.

Asahi admires Tokis strength and perseverance. She’s a big fan of PDA, worrying about it being too much for her girlfriend sometimes, Toki assures her doesn’t bother her. Asahi loves doing Tokis hair and makeup, often styling it in new and creative ways. Asahi often indulges in creative and sometimes childish things, which Toki doesn’t really care for much, but she just likes spending time with her. Asahi doesn’t like to admit this, but above everything else, the kinshicho hunter association is her top priority. She will do anything to keep her dads legacy going. If she has to work overtime she does cancel dates, which does sometimes cause conflict between the two of them.

Their favorite date spot is the fairy forest, where they go on walks and just enjoy the peace and quiet admitst the battlefield that is Tokyo. Asahi sometimes sneaks leftovers from the Kinshicho hunter association so they can Picknick at the lake deep in the forest (Asahi keeps forgetting the shadow riddle required to get there, but toki got it memorized since day one).

I hope this is enough headaches for now! This started off as more of a crackship back then but honestly they would work so good as a couple! ALSO THEY ARE LITERALLY RED AND BLUE! THE SHIP COLORS EVER
