jaykyle au where they're theatre kids in the same school but they're not the actors jason's the scriptwriter/director and kyle is the prop manager (i don't know the official terms sorry) and they'd probably do an amazing job on the backstage setting if they could stop arguing for 5 whole seconds about their artistic visions and ideas and how "this would obviously work better this way"

Hello! I feel like rereading Vargas these days so, I'd like to request some Edgar, Scriabin interaction (maybe one of them being vulnerable), if that's okay?

I hope we get a scene of Alicent with Aegon's body. If her son is damned to die, if she is damned to spiral into insanity, if she is to lose her life too the grief, let me see her with his body.
let her hold her baby in her arms one more time. let her wipe the blood that poured from his mouth and nose as he died. let her run her fingers over the viscous burns that adorn his skin. let her fix his hair. let her bathe him with a cloth as she had when he was a babe. let her kiss his cheek, his forehead, his hair, his hands. let her lay her head against him, hugging him like she had failed to do for years.
he was her firstborn and yet, her heart was still beating and his was not, she was not yet cold in her grave, no, no her son was cold, her flesh was warm, too warm. he was her baby, her son, the boy she tried so hard to protect, who had loved even when it hurt, who she had stood in front of a dragon for. she loved him, the very bones of him, and now he was dead.
let her lose her mind right there, in that room, still clinging to her body, one that's too cold, too still, too quiet. let her scream out to the gods, damning them, cursing them for taking her eldest son, amongst everything else in her life.
I want her to drive away anyone who tries to take him from her, forcing the silent sisters or whoever would be left to deal with his body at that point. let her curse and spit and claw at anyone who comes too close.
she would stay there for hours, reflecting on her memories of him. maybe she talks to him or hums a lullaby until she finally loses her battle with what remains of her consciousness and sanity, falling still against the table.
she dreams of Aegon, she dreams of the life she wish she could have provided, the life she had tried so hard to give him. a life where he was safe, a life where she had been a better mother, a life where she didn't need to live in and impose fear up on her children. maybe if she had tried hard enough he would still be alive, she'll think as she floats in the space between consciousness and unconsciousness.
she'll wake in plain chambers she only partly recognizes, she'll learn of her sons lackluster and sparsly accompanied burning, she'll learn her son was gone and she was alone. there won't be much of her left to care. she just continues dreaming, dreaming of her dead children and spiraling to madness until her broken heart finally gives out.
[my previous post inspired this, cause all I can think about now is Alicent mourning her son and its gonna put me in an early grave]

"Star Wars isn't dead y'all are just haters"
"Disney saved Star Wars"
"It's the Woke Agenda that ruined Star Wars"
My mans, Disney single-handedly destroyed the Sequel Trilogy despite the Force Awakens being the gateway to something potentially fantastic; MCU'd the Mandalorian (a story which originally had nothing to do with the Prequel and OG Trilogy aside from sharing a universe and exploring a sect of a completely different culture/ideology); ego-boosted both Filoni and Favreau to the point where their OC Verse is not only canon but openly disregarding the Star Wars Universe Bible/Lore; gave us a snippet of what an extremely misunderstood indigenous culture is actually like (instead of portraying them as the savages one of the white leads mislabeled as animals that deserved to be slaughtered) only to then wipe out the tribe we got to know for no reason other than shock value thus alienating indigenous/poc viewers in the most disrespectful way possible; completely threw away the entire message of TCW (that being a clone does not make you incapable of being your own person who has their own thoughts, ideals, moral compass and overall identity) by making TBB (a show that does have it's strong points in set design, soundtrack orchestration and overall sound design, but is extremely weak on both characterization and storytelling because they either make the meaningful plot points stretch too thin or focus on the wrong character completely) their go to show marketed for kids instead of the actual kids programming that people shit on for being for, surprise, kids; constantly disregards valid critique from their consumers (to the point where infighting in the Fandom has gotten extremely ugly) that people either give up on interacting completely or simply vanish and take all their things with them (because no one seems to understand where these critiques come from, or how being unable to admit your special little show is imperfect is actually not a good thing for both you and others).
This isn't even accounting for the fact the Fandom seems to have doubled in it's overall toxicity since Disney took over.
Which is par for the course when a mega corporation takes hold of something that started out extremely political in nature anyway.
The Cash Cow machine needs feeding after all...

Y'all (general) really really need to exercise the block buttons more.
An opinion you don't agree with? Someone makes you uncomfortable? Something you don't like? Even just a person whose way of presenting information makes you uncomfortable (even if you agree with them)?
Block.
BLOCK.
B.L.O.C.K.
Look, I get it. I used to think seeing opinions I didn't agree with was important, that exposing myself was a way of staying informed. But finally, I hit a breaking point - I already knew the viewpoints I disagreed with, and seeing them every day was making me miserable.
I've blocked liberally since then.
And the most remarkable thing happened: I routinely see posts where lots of people are disagreeing with the same person...and I already have that person blocked.
Because the most insidious thing about letting myself see the negativity and things that made me unhappy all the time is that leaving it all there gave me the impression that there were a LOT of vocally awful people saying things that hurt me.
But there aren't.
There's actually a surprisingly small number of people who get off on trolling or are so marinated in hate that they have to spew it all around them, and when you block those people, the world gets much more peaceful.
You're not growing as a person by exposing yourself to rhetoric that hurts you. You're just hurting, which is exactly how those people want you to feel: they want you to be in as much agony as they are.
Don't give them the satisfaction.
BLOCK THEM.
(tbh I've hit the point that I think people who willfully, deliberately, loudly, intentionally don't block are engaging in a form of self-harm. seriously, you're not taking a noble stand, no one cares if you don't block except the people hurting you.)

I am super fucking pissed about Wee John in this last episode.
Why. The. Fuck. Was. He. Not. Included. AT. ALL. During. The. Escape??????????
Legitimately, where the fuck was he? I was fuming for a lot of that because he's my favorite character, so I was looking for him. While everyone was stripping the English of their uniforms and getting dressed up (at least partially) in disguise, he is the only character not included.
They make a point about Fang not getting a proper shirt, which already pissed me off enough, that he had to wear what was essentially prison stripes while everyone else was in uniform, but Wee John wasn't even there. He wasn't in the raid. He wasn't in the run down the beach.
He just wasn't even fucking there. And if it was something Kristian decided he didn't want to worry about hurting himself over, particularly looking out for his back and knees, I understand not asking him to run over and over again for reshoots. But the fact that he didn't even get dressed with them... and that's the second time he's been excluded from a plan apparently due to his size (remember that he didn't get to participate when The Revenge dressed up as rich boys for Nigel Badminton)...
It is legitimately breaking my heart. One of the things I love about this show is the love is gives to its fat characters and actors. Fang gets to have his tummy out 24/7 and he's treated like a snack by Lucius, Wee John got to have an incredible dress, Oluwande is the crew's most eligible bachelor, and we even got a delightful fat character in 2x07 who spent his whole time dressed in only some leather halters and pants...
But the fact that Wee John was singled out and left behind, and the fact that Fang was singled out and othered at that very same time... It fucking hurts. As a fat person who has loved getting to see so much love for fat bodies... it stung to see that the comedy couldn't even suspend its reality long enough to say "there are a few fat people in the Royal English Navy, so Wee John and Fang get to be dressed up too."

difficult vs likable person personality quizzes!
Wesley Crane:
You are a somewhat likable person ( 60% ). You are an easy person to get along with ( 22.86% ).
(( honestly this is pretty accurate... kindness & honesty being his highest out of both charts makes sense, as does tolerance & suspicion both being fairly high as well -- because these are some of his main traits & motivators. he's very gentle and kindhearted, but he is Nothing if not painfully blunt. he also puts up with quite a lot; it's not easy to phase him! friendliness is an interesting one, because it's something separate from kindness. it's not that he's mean, he just doesn't really know how to interact with others! he doesn't reach out he doesn't make friends unless they approach him first and are Insistent. plus, his Ominous Vibes and brutal honesty can sometimes be a bit Much sdjfks. the only real surprise was seeing how highly he scored on humor! wesley, however, would be surprised to hear that he's a Somewhat Likable person... he'd never believe it for a second. ))
(( as far as the difficult person results - ALSO very accurate, i think. i would probably rate him even Higher with suspicion but otherwise its incredibly true. i think the reason he scored so low on this one, despite canonically having Extreme Difficulties interacting with people and connecting with them, is due to how lowly he thinks of himself. don't get me wrong: he's a very very sweet boy who would do anything for people he loves, and who is easy to get along with once you know him because he's so thoughtful and kind and loving, but like... its the way aggression / grandiosity / dominance are all basically at zero. he always, always prioritizes others because his own life and feelings don't matter; he rarely ever gets angry, & never wants to hurt anyone the way he's been hurt. then you take into account how often he just fades into the background and doesn't contribute anything, and yeah i would say he's easy to get along with! because it's like he's not there at all. ))

If we can’t have little Klaus just yet, then maybe you could share your favorite line or paragraph you’ve written so far? As long as it’s not super spoilery, of course! No pressure.
I mean, I'm pretty proud of this new exchange between Klaus and Henrik:
Niklaus glanced warily around them, keeping his eyes out for any flashes of wolf-yellow. “Wasn’t Kol supposed to be watching you?”
“He disappeared deeper into the caves with Ingrid - said he had better things to do than entertaining me,” Henrik said, mouth twisting with disgust. “I didn’t stick around to hear them going at it like rabbits.”
Niklaus’ scowl deepened, silently telling himself he really shouldn’t be surprised.
“Remind me to murder our brother the next time I see him.”
Henrik scoffed a laugh. “Like your meetings with Tatia Ulricksdottir in the middle of the night are completely innocent-”
“I haven’t touched her,” he snarled, jerking Henrik forward a little more forcefully than before.
The grin on his younger brother’s face could only be described as downright devilish. Kol’s influence, he was sure. “But you have kissed her.”
They slammed to halt. Niklaus stared at Henrik with wide, surprised eyes. “How do you even know that?”
“Kol said you were smiling like a fool a few days ago. I added that up with the way Elijah kept glaring at your head at dinner and made an educated guess,” he said with a shrug. Then his smile widened, eyes brightening with childlike curiosity that was slightly too innocent to be genuine. “Was she good? At kissing? Kol says most girls are shy, but Tatia doesn’t seem the type.”
Niklaus turned away, yanking Henrik forward again without a word.
“What? She’s already been married once, right, so she knows what the kissing leads to-”
“Gods have mercy,” Niklaus muttered under his breath.
“All I’m saying is to be careful, Nik, you know, responsible-”
“Henrik.”
“Yeah?”
Niklaus leaned down, hissing his next words out through his teeth, right in his brother’s face. “Not. One. More. Word.”
Slowly, Henrik dropped the innocent act, that bright smile melting into a smirk. “About the kissing? Or what the kissing leads to?”
Niklaus cuffed him round the ear for his insolence, not that it made a difference. The idiot wouldn’t stop bloody smiling.

tbh i think oda meant to reach wano and make it all about zoro the same way he reached whole cake and made it all about sanji. I mean like, at the very beginning, back when he made him japanese and then said "there is a country that's one piece's japan, btw, and that's not where zoro's dojo is" - I think that's why his original backstory is so simple, it was supposed to follow the same trend as luffy's and sanji's and turn into this whole grand thing once they reached wano and discovered that he's the only direct descendant of one of the last daimyo and also of the greatest samurai ever lived, those are great bases to start some form of conflict on? tbh? and also directly mirror our finding out that sanji is some form of prince himself, but then instead we got to wano and the only thing we found out on page was that kuina's relatives were from there, and everything about zoro is revealed in a sbs family tree with oda going "I don't think I'll ever say this in the manga at this point so here". Imho what happened was that oda wanted to form some kind of conflict between zoro's family rights/what was expected of him in wano and his belonging in the crew, but then the way he evolved as a character through the story made it so that his only plausible reaction to finding out all that would be some form or another of I don't care and you don't really write an arc on that, do you. zoro's so simple minded and goal oriented that it's impossible for him to have any serious drama that's not about luffy, at this point. I do prefer it like this, though? everyone in the fandom likes to draw comparisons and parallels between zoro and sanji one way or another but my favourite one is the narrative foils one and zoro's lack of a proper backstory and complications to his being part of the crew make for a great black-and-white situation with them. something like sanji's story being all about running from his past and zoro's being all about running towards his future, I love that so I'm glad this is the zoro we got in the end
still, would be cool to know what oda had planned for him exactly
