#asking for things is so hard for me

My supervisor told me today that I'm very good at communicating when something is going on, but that I don't ask for things that could make my working life better or things to run smoother.

And that hit me like a freight train, like, so much of my life I've been told (directly or indirectly) not to ask for things, and that's just not as functional in a healthy environment.

Like, I should be able to ask my superiors for things that help me instead of simply making due with what I have because it's what I've been given. Self-sufficiency or being low-maintenance isn't necessarily optimal or the goal.

so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!

Okay but does Peri KNOW that Dev has a robotic leg when he shows up? Something about the fact that Peri's wand is a cane and the fact that Dev could have kept his leg and just had a cane for the rest of his life instead tickles my brain.

I mean he doesn't know immediately, he wasn't like briefed or anything, but he basically lives in Dev's house so he definitely finds out. Peri doesn't comment on or react to it all though really, there's no reason for him to think anything of it, plenty of people have missing limbs, a lot of people are born without them, it doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister happened. He had no reason to pry or ask and I think Peri's lack of reaction to it helped Dev feel a bit more comfortable in his skin. (Not by much but.. a little bit.)

Great question, it's implied his "unique" sense of direction is a result of how his mindset was affected after being a Dungeon Lord, Kabru theorizes that when he finds the secret passage after getting rid of the hipogriff

I think the implication is rather than not having a sense of direction he's moving in a way that made sense in his own Dungeon without thinking about it.

Idk if that makes sense for anyone else but you know when you've been playing one game for so long that when you play a different game with a different way of doing things you get confused for a bit and keep trying to move/do things how you did in the other game? Just me? ok
