Hello, you seem to know a lot about aspec terminology! If it isn't too much trouble, could I ask if you know of any aro labels that might apply to my situation, or places to research them? I've got a weird relationship to my aromanticism. I never in my life experienced romantic attraction save for one person in college, but even then my experience with what I believe to be romantic feelings seems to be very different from what non-aro people describe. I don't know if it's my orientation or my alexithymia, to be honest.

I've heard about demiromantic, but that didn't quite fit. Thank you for your help!

i know im arospec for sure, because i've never felt romantic attraction before. but here's where things get interesting. i have borderline personality disorder, which leads to me having a favorite person (fp) who i basically devote my life to. i am not in love with fp, but i still crave closeness and want to be around them the entire time. i am currently using the cupioromantic microlabel because if fp asked, i would get in a dating relationship with them despite not feeling romantic attraction.

however, im not that comfortable with dating and would prefer something else. the only reason i would date is, again, to please fp.
