One of the benefits of making your school AU specifically a university AU is that there are so many ways to justify a particular character seemingly always being on campus which don't require them to be a student or teacher. "Middle-aged alumnus who hasn't taken a class in decades but still hits the student cafeteria every day because they live nearby and it's cheaper than fast food" isn't merely plausible, I literally knew that guy.

Since you have a shattered fates version of Nim and Lanny (nephilim and dewdrop) does shattered fates have a different version of Quetzalcoatl?

Don't know much about the OG characters from Dreamtale ( tried to find info but only found little fragments of it so... ) I doodled what some of the characters would look like and what they represent in the Shattered Fates AU

This is an AU so things aren't going to be completely the same as the original; characters are going to change... ^^!

Here's some ideas of what I have on the characters so far...

Nimeeta ( Nephilim was Renamed to Nimeeta; so the Nim nickname could still be used. ) They represent Emotions; yet cannot express their own. in a dire attempt to relate to mortals they turned to Gucumatz to achieve what they wanted... giving up their own being in the process. It will take time... but they will reach their end goal no matter what it takes.

Dagda, also known as "Dewdrop" is a younger representation of a concept; Magic. An unknown energy that contributes to the soul; they possess both Condensed and Dispersed magic. They go by Dewdrop because that's what Nim called them; they hold it more dear then their very own name.

Gucumatz is Quetzalcoatl in this AU; A representation of Humanity and their flaws. His magic is dispersed; and normally takes on Storm and rain aspects. Their interests perked when

Neil; one of the lost and forgotten... returned to their origin after it began to crumble away. they had almost met the same fate as the others but managed to escape after following either Dream or Nightmare. they traversed into the forest long ago when the more emotionless guardians were present; he has brief knowledge on how they work but being brought back to a time where they're more Human.. it certainly has him determined to figure out what's happening.
