Hey, Tumblr! This is a message for fantasy readers—especially the ones craving something a little older, a little queerer, a little realer.

I’m Torrin, a 31-year-old debut author living in the Midwest, and I’ve poured my heart into a romantic fantasy series called The Godhunter Saga. Book one, Dawnfire and Spellweave, is finished (87k words!), and I’m getting ready to query it for traditional publication. It’s the kind of story I always wanted to read but could never quite find. So, obviously, I wrote it myself.

This series is for anyone who’s tired of YA school settings and wants stories about adults navigating messy, magical lives. It’s for readers who crave mutual respect and trust in their romances, who want relatable heroes and villains, and who love stories with older queer characters, chosen family, and themes of questioning faith and authority. Think: slow-burning tension, heartbreaking tenderness, and a little moral ambiguity.

I’m hoping to build a community around this book as I head into the querying trenches. If you’ve been looking for a new author to follow, someone who writes from the heart and genuinely wants to connect with readers, I’d love to have you along for the journey.

why do i write fics the way i do ? : I write fics in a hc-esque format because it's easier for me to keep my posting at a consistent pace (full form fics take time for me to complete) and I find them overall more enjoyable to write !! WIP I post about most. This is where I store my hate for capitalism, my trauma, my hope, and my kink for fangs. Urban fantasy, 100k+, queer relationships, and smut

Criminals from districts 2-4 are sometimes made to work in district 1 for 'rehabilitation', subject to demonic contracts that get extended over any slight the demons perceive in your service to them.

Four characters are caught up in this system of subjugation and they each have their own ideas of handling it: complacency in servitude, manipulating a way to escape, diplomacy to bring change, and revenge fueled rebellion.

♦️🤠Post Paedicom:

Version of our world where monsters, witches, and an original humanoid race called Elja exist- all of which are considered dangerous by humans.

Takes place in Texas where two men, a witch and an Elja, fall for each other whilst hiding among humans and quietly keeping their town safe from monsters. Casually writing for now but may post art at some point.

♦️⚔️Prodigium

Historic precursor to Post Paedicom when there were kings and carriages and sexy swordplay. Before the modern era where Elja are considered either government dogs or rogue monsters. In this era, the strong monster-immune species had a thriving civilization that lived in mutualism with humans, offering protection from monsters in exchange for produce and other farmed resources.

This story is about the downfall of Eljankind, the deception of a coven of witches, and the punishing freedom of love.

About The Projects

I have created a multilayered Universe for my projects, in which I write different character-driven narratives that affect a world consumed by mystery and the supernatural. These are meant to be interactive stories, so each character interacts with the listener and will be voiced by me in my upcoming audio series!

Beast Beneath The Moonlight: A story about Gabriel, an idealistic intern at a hospital whose life goal is to save as many people as he can. He is turned into a werewolf and is then forced to confront his inner beast, contemplate mortality and understand the true meaning of strength.

Written in Blood: Killian, a very old vampire from a bygone era, struggling to cope with the death of his lover centuries before, trying his best to live his remaining days in peace until his very bloody past starts to catch up to him.

Fiends With Benefits: Levi, a half-demon caught between the Mortal and Supernatural world, expected to be the best by both worlds while not being accepted by either. He lives under his predecessor's shadow until a plot that could unravel Fiend Society is brought to light.

There will be more stories within this world, so stay tuned.

i hit 200 followers (!!!) two weeks after starting my blog (thank you so much!). so i thought i'd write a short introductory post for any mutuals or anyone who's interested in me but not interested enough to read my explore page over on my ""aesthetic"" tumblr site (nondelphic.tumblr.com)

my name is rebecka and i'm a '02-born queer writer from sweden. i grew up writing fanfics on wattpad and tumblr but since i was 15/16 i've exclusively written original stories. or, i've tried lol. i never actually managed to finish a full draft until this year (2024), which i'm now rewriting before i send it off to a publisher in hopes to get an agent.

regardless of whether my work gets published or not, i love writing, and i especially love sharing self-deprecating jokes and rants about how draining writing can be. because let's be honest, for most of us, writing isn't a linear progress. everyone can't be stephen king writing 5k words everyday. but we all try our best!

Hello to all my new followers! I just wanted to welcome everyone who has followed me recently and thank you for supporting this little blog. It means a lot :3

If you want to learn more about me I have an introduction post pinned on my page. But just as a quick intro, my name is Phoenix Greenwood (Penn Name) and I’m a young author based in Australia who predominantly writes Fanfiction but also wants to write and publish my own novel one day. I mainly write MHA Fanfiction, but I’m currently working on some fics in other fandoms like Pokémon and maybe a certain mystery video game 👀 so please check out some of my stuff (Also on my pinned post)!

— Taking place in Romania, nuclear power plant “Cernavoda” has a mysterious meltdown, spreading radiation just far enough to poison the whole country. However, the government is quickly (and conveniently) able to control the radiation poisoning with “RadiActiv”, a medication that everyone must take regularly to build up immunity to the radiation. Over 20 years later, a homeless group of teenagers (and one 6-year-old!) begin to ask;
