Hello to all my new followers! I just wanted to welcome everyone who has followed me recently and thank you for supporting this little blog. It means a lot :3

If you want to learn more about me I have an introduction post pinned on my page. But just as a quick intro, my name is Phoenix Greenwood (Penn Name) and I’m a young author based in Australia who predominantly writes Fanfiction but also wants to write and publish my own novel one day. I mainly write MHA Fanfiction, but I’m currently working on some fics in other fandoms like Pokémon and maybe a certain mystery video game 👀 so please check out some of my stuff (Also on my pinned post)!

no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.

I'm doing this for their own good.

Not Again

TW: Kidnapping, Captive Whumpee, Chain Restraints

Whumpee pulled at the chain locked over their ankle. They’ve been trying since they woke up. They woke up in a basement alone. They weren’t sure where but something about it looked familiar — they couldn’t put their finger on it.

Obviously, someone kidnapped them and decided to throw them in a basement. But the question is, who would do that and why?

Even more so, why weren’t they dead yet?

Whumpee glanced around to find something sharp but came up empty handed. They sighed and went back to attempting to pull the chain from its base in the wall.

They instantly froze at the sound of footsteps over their head. Gently, they placed down the chain and listened. It wasn’t long before the steps stopped at a door that was far from Whumpee’s grasp. The locks moving filled the short silence before the door creaked open, revealing—

“Whumper?” They exhaled. A smile slowly appeared on their face. “I’m so glad you’re here! You can get me out of this. I’ve been trying for forever now. If you can just—”

They were silenced when he began to laugh.

Did they miss something? Or was this just an elaborate joke to scare Whumpee?

“No, no Whumpee.” He shook his head and waved his hand dismissively. “I am the reason you’re here.”

“What?” They rolled their eyes, a smile on their face. “Oh I get it. You’re mad about that— listen, it was a bad idea and I—”

“Oh I’m mad alright.” He descended down the stairs, coming closer. “But the reason is not what you think.”

Whumpee raised a brow. Whumper stopped in front of them, kneeling down to their level. He gently lifted their chin.

“You got away from me Whumpee.” His voice was low and gentle yet pained. “And you almost got hurt. I’m not letting that happen again. Because I’m never gonna let you go.”

no weeping willows here. you can hardly sigh, the air wet and heavy in your little throat, impassable.  most likely karma for me having been unutterably reckless in that time  before i could miss home.  i slunk through amityville half naked and nocturnal and lay mangled for our curbside rituals. the scrambling midnight piano playing on  and on but i knew: soon  that tension note will resolve. the approaching dawn  will run us off the side of the road.  the fireworks were for us, once. but we do not lie down in the middle of the street anymore.  all we do is ignore that knocking at the door, the humming settling in - a synthetic ringing.  i ought to cut my hair where you held it  but then what proof would i have  that any of it existed? the waltz in the dark is different now. home, i’ve learned, returns like smooth rocks on the shore. and if i close my eyes the dampness is sea spray on a cliff's edge, the wind in the trees like waves crashing. daylight where daylight goes, the dawn abducted in our sleep. i wish you would have told me it was the last time  for lights like angels dissolving in the sky.  i would have pressed that violent string a little longer."

We've already discussed this. Yes, I will make you scrub plates with your feet if you lose both hands in war. How much longer are we going to bicker about the way you scrub dishes? ;)

I'm marrying you, Henry. Of course I am. Nothing could change that! I just…confused the man. He seemed uninterested and half my age. I told him that I can not scrub dishes on a weekly basis, and if I did, my fingernails would grow to nauseating lengths, and I would turn into a caterpillar. He was not enthused. I told him that the rats nest in my hair on Friday nights and that they have names. One of them is named Millicent, the other is Thelma, and one is Phill. He stood up out of his chair, and I told him to find someone his own age. He agreed, for some particular reason? I'm not sure why, though. :)

Oh, my darling, the battles you fight in. Please, keep yourself safe and healthy. Wash your cuts and scrapes, and eat well. I wish you could come home, dear.

Oh, my! He really freed them all? Oh, well, I find that wonderful. Truthfully, I do. It's not humane to practice that horrid labor.

Yes, darling, I will tell Heather that you saw a horse throw a carrot at a man. :) She'll find that utterly hilarious, I'm sure.
