(Only she can tell this.)

Small heads-up!

If you don't wanna be spammed with my Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen gameplays, please filter the "#the isekaied entomologist" or "#turbo-tsun plays ddda" tags. DD2 coming out last month andimmenselystubbornartblock inspired me to finally parse through my recordings of the first game, and I ended up making a few compilations - 7 in total - ranging anywhere from 15 seconds to 3-ish minutes; I'll be posting them from queue 2-3 times a day, starting tomorrow.

But should you choose to watch them still, then thank you <3; and please enjoy Gonta and Kokichi shenaningans :D

Some of the videos will be from my first gameplay, with Gonta as the Arisen, and Kokichi as the pawn (the game lets you create both your player character and npc companion), and some will be from New Game +, where I switched their roles, and played as Arisen!Kokichi instead.

Hopefully, you'll get at least a sensible chuckle out of these <3 Because, truly, this game was a gift that kept on giving.

Day 28 - Bedridden

Bedridden, hospital setting, IV and cast mention, medically induced coma mention

[Follows the Freelancers: Intersection Arc]

“Please?” RJ made the best pair of puppy dog eyes they could muster. Unfortunately, their black eye and stitches made it difficult to be effective.

“No. Besides, he’s still unconscious. You could learn a thing or two from him - sleeping is good for recovery.”

“I’m recovered enough - ”

“I’m the judge of that. And you’re not.” Katie offered a soft smile, the doctor’s dark eyes gentle as her patient grumbled. “You’re tough as nails, RJ. And I know you don’t do well with the whole ‘relaxing’ thing but…try. For me. Harrison and Casey are watching our backs, you trust them, don’t you?”

RJ fiddled with their IV line, casted leg swaying slightly in its elevated sling. Trust wasn’t the issue. They knew there wasn’t any threat Casey and Harrison couldn’t handle - the pair could stop a nuclear warhead if they put their minds to it. They couldn’t stand sitting idle. They couldn’t stand being trapped.

“I need to do something. Anything. I’m going to go insane just sitting here.” Katie laughed at their frustration.

“You’ve only been lucid for a few hours, how can you be so restless already?” The doctor shook her head with a sigh, smile still playing on her soft lips. “I’ll see what I can get for you - do you prefer sudoku or crossword puzzles?”

RJ groaned and dramatically flopped back against their pillows. They almost envied David’s peaceful, medically induced coma. Almost.
