"Don't touch that! It's dangerous!"

Wade looks quizzically at the small case in front of him. It's a hard clear material, reinforced with steel on the joints. Inside sits a jovial little alien creature with bright blue fur. It's even got a little hat. It's adorable.

"What, is this Smurf going to bite me?"

"No, you don't understand -"

But before the guy can finish he's dodging another bullet and a Deadpool, who is also flinging himself katana-first at the guard.

"Look, I was paid to come here and take out your boss. Papa Smurf wasn't on the list." The guy is playing hard to get, dodging and ducking like an acrobat. Wade just needs to get past this one and through the reinforced doors of the mark's office…

"I keep a variety of explosives on me for just such an occasion, you know!" He holsters the sword and double fists two granades off his belt, while maintaining a steady stream of bullets in the direction of the guard, who's crouching around a corner. Biting out the pins between his teeth, he counts off the requisite number of seconds and then tosses the little eggs, making sure they crack when they land instead of bouncing.

"See? Easy as an omlette," Wade mumbles into the dust and debris after he's thrown to the other side of the hallway by the explosion.

"Oh no - oh fuck -" the guard next to him is muttering. Out of the smoke hops the little Smurf guy, right up to Wade.

"Oh, hey there little fellow! What a cutie!"

Wade reaches out to scratch its head just as he hears a panicked "No! Wait!" From the guard. But it's already too late.

Bamf.

Wade draws his hand back. There's a smell like burnt sulfur in the air, but other than that the hallway is quiet. Too quiet. Not full of smoke or debris or bullet holes. Not even sporting a guard and a reinforced door. Wade is suddenly just laying on the floor in a quite normal apartment hallway, next to a furry little blue alien.

The thing makes a clicking noise in it's throat and then, bamf. It's gone, with nothing but a wisp of smoke left behind.

This story doesn't have a name yet but it's concept is 616-ish Deadpool and assassin!Spidey so there's something to look forward to I guess.

Said different place was the middle of a dining hall in a castle, with a very annoyed looking man in a green robe and shiny metal mask sitting at the table eating. "God damnit Wilson, it's too early for this shit!"

Kiera blinks rapidly. And draws her dagger, stabbing him in the stomach and removing the knife before ripping her arm away.

Her golden eyes gleam dangerously from behind her mask as she backs up into the stone wall.

"I'm back up!" Called Tony, his metal covered hand raised, much to Sam and Peter's annoyance. "No! You're a nuisance, the friends are talking," Sam scolded, waving his uninjured hand between himself and Peter. "Seriously, Pete..." "Sammy..." Sighed Peter, taking Sam's shoulders ever so gently as if he was glass. Even with the very light touch, he could feel the cracks in his left shoulder bone. "I'll be fine. Really. I hang out with Daredevil and Deadpool all the time." He assured, thinking of what Wade dubbed "Team Red", but his thoughts landed on Matt. Matt's gonna kill him when he finds out he went on a mission without his consent. "That... makes me feel less comfortable," Sam reminded, tensely. He didn't particularly like "Team Red"; Deadpool was a wildcard, and Daredevil was brutal. Peter laughed, smiling up at Sam. "Don't do anything stupid until I get back." He warned, back up and walking to the door. "How can I?" Came Sam's response with a cheeky smile, "taking all the stupid with you."
