Episode 169 of our writers’ podcast has us bouncing between the Maine cities of Bath and Portland to do boots-on-the-ground research for a future books. We did stops at the Maine Maritime Museum, the Maine Historical Society, the Golden Lotus restaurant (yum!), and my paternal grandparents’ house. We traveled 3300 miles to do this research and we were not disappointed.

There a ghost in the Watchtower vent!

Batman could only sighed in defeat as the Justice league were searching in the vents again, after Superman heard a odd small screeching sound of an animal coming from it this morning.

Which lead to the Justice league searching around the vents to find the source of the sound. He internally blamed Damian for this after he snuck a odd animal in the batcave, and is still looking for that animal whom may have snuck itself into the watchtower teleportor and got beamed there.

So far they been searching for 8 hours straight with no luck whatsoever. Batman could only sighed and calls comms to get Damian to get his newest attempt of pet adoption.

Which only took 7 minutes as Damian in his robin suit just put down one of alfred's special cookies in front of the vent entrance as the Justice league watch along side as a small odd cat lik-, oh that a tiny alien feral child nawing on the cookie.

He looked 4 year old at most, glowing lararus green eyes feral and dilated with long elvish ears, sharp tiny fangs, white but dirty dust covered hair that look like a rats nest, wearing a toddler sized suit that look otherworldly yet similar to a hazmut suit if it weren't so skin tight looking. He was wearing a glowing green skull on his smol middle finger and a floating crown that remind superman of the fairy odd parents except this was black with blue aurora light fire.

"You are so losing chew toy privileges, danny." Damian huffed as he just pick danny up by his armpits and just begans walked away through the hallway door.

The justice league could only look a bit gaped.

"Where did Robin found that?"

This is somewhat a sequel to the hot springs post but it's at a different time.

This idea has been on my mind for a while and I wanted to see how it would write out. So here 😅😅😅

You were probably the one who had the idea to take a shower with all 4 of them. I gotta say they were pretty taken up by it and they asked if you were okay or sure if you wanted to take a shower with them together.

Showering with 4 other people at the same time.... couldn't imagine it but it's happening right now.....

Your shower or bath was surprisingly big enough to fit all of you in it! Wow! 🤯

"Haha...are you guys still embarrassed about taking a shower with me? we always cuddle in bed and sleep ya know".

"Well.....it's a bit complicated (Name)....".

"I can't believe I am in a moment like this....".

"Come on, it won't be that bad you guys".

You were completely fine with this and they were a little concerned at first.

Their cheeks were completely red the whole time and you found that cute and funny.

It's basically Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny (well mostly Stan, Kyle, and Cartman) overreacting the whole time.

They have taken a bath together before but with you, it feels different. Something they just can't put on their tongue and figure out.

Nothing really ever happened while all 5 of you were bathing in the shower together. It's just you guys soaping up and washing off, that's it.

Well reader, you truly know how to make the boys flustered. Because their faces are now going to be red the whole time when you guys start cuddling before sleeping.💙💚🧡❤️

Sooooo... this new fic -tell me something about it (so much or so less you want to share) ;P

EHEHE GLADLY IM SO GLAD YA ASKED!!!! you dont understand how excited i am to talk about it lmao :DDDDDD

so my newest fic is.... a post apocalypse mer au!

ehehe!!! :3c i mentioned it in some of the author notes of claw at the stars and im soooo excited to actually finish chapter 1 of it!!! its only like. 30% done so far bc im playing video games non-stop on my writing break but im chugging along xD

the basic summary is that after a meteor strikes the earth (again), humanity has had to rapidly evolve to survive the harsh conditions of rising sea levels and much harsher temperatures. (id elaborate more on some science and biology stuff ive been brainstorming too but that's SPOILERS </3) more under the cut!

long story short, theres evolved people and creatures evolved from people on land and merfolk evolved from people in the sea! plus theres new languages thanks to evolving and changing vocal chords! (reallyyyy i just wanna get wacky with humanoid designs xD can you tell i like doing that yet???)

as for the fic, here's a quick summary of the very basic plot :3

a few decades after this meteor hits, the daycare attendant wakes up from an emergency shutdown in the ruins of the pizzaplex. with no telling of how many years its been, they have to pick up the pieces of where they left off and navigate this new world. with the help of y/n (dats YOU!!!), a mer who ended up on land, they slowly get their bearings and try to settle in to their new life, scrounging for parts to repair themselves in the overgrown remains of cities.

y/n has never even thought about going on land, but of course, the one time they do they have to drag around a robot that doesn't even understand what they're saying. sun and moon, meanwhile, latch onto you like a lost puppy as they try their best to learn the new language and figure out what you keep signaling to them.

(why were you on land? can't say! since, well, it would be spoilers...)

theres gonna be tons and tons of fluff and mystery and adventure and romance and LOREEEEE! all the tropes im obsessed with! and of course vanessa is here too because i love herrrr :3

anyways, i cant share toooo much besides the basic summary since i love being vague and mysterious hehehe but! im nearly done with the first chapter :3 it will likely be out sometime in january, IF not january 1st! im super motivated :3c

as a reward for listening to my way too long ramble, have this super quick concept sketch i did the other day!
