➢ ﹒ ⊹ ₊ ˚ Summary: The year is 1496 during the Joseon Era of Korea, You are a Kisaeng (government owned courtesan) that's recently been promoted to a higher rank and your talents have caught the sparkling eye of the Emperor's wife and she's more than thrilled to have your company for the day.
I do not consent to my work being reposted, stolen or translated anywhere else.
Tumblr media
It was the beginning of spring and flowers in hues of pinks, whites and yellows were blooming all around. Her Majesty made the arrangements for your services the day before and sent three of her best palace servants to have you pampered and dressed for an evening stroll for a small picnic at Gwahae Lake.
You wore a beautiful hanbok of emerald greens and pastel pinks with a handmade and intricate gold hairpin made up of a flowery design with two dangling white pearls. It complimented the delicate blush and rose gold gloss on your face and made the brown in your eyes stand out perfectly.
Her Majesty marveled at you with a longing gaze of awe.
"I--I cannot thank you enough for your kindness, my lady!"
You stopped suddenly and lowered your head into a bow, both arms pressed tightly at your sides with your chest pounding like a drum, overwhelmed by your own body tensing up with nervousness with both eyes glued to the trail leading further out towards Gwahae Lake.
A stunned Bayan quietly stared at you with gentle eyes.
Being promoted after only eight months of being a lower ranked sampae (삼패) and jumping straight to a high ranked Ilpae (일패) has been quite the culture shock of an opportunity only a few girls your age could only ever dreamed of achieving after years of hard work.
"It's just, I never imagined I'd make it this far in such a short time."
Despite the anxiety in your body, the pounding in your chest lessened as you spoke. "Compared to the beauty and talent of the higher ranked courtesans, I'm just average." Not the most positive words but they were yours and true to how you felt.
"Y/n." Bayan cooed.
"Y-Yes, my lady?" You stammered, the nervousness wracking at you again.
Bayan placed a hand under your chin, gently lifting it for your eyes to meet hers. Her fingertips inches away from your lips, making your heart race with anticipation.
"Your beauty is something extraordinary in its own way." Bayan held both of your hands, her thumbs massaging your calloused knuckles. "And I wouldn't ever trade it for anything in the world."
From that moment forward, Her Majesty's affection for you became more and more clear and left you with so many thoughts.
The picnic that had been arranged had been placed close enough to get a wide but safe view of the lake. Sitting down against the thin cloth material as an array of sweets and sandwiches were laid out by the same three servants that dressed and washed you this morning, you just now realized that Her Majesty wasn't being accompanied by her usual guard, perhaps the Emperor's hidden assassins were keeping watch from a distance.
The two of you sat across from each other with food in between, covered by the shape of a few trees with pink and white Mugunghwa surrounding you.
A gentle breeze washed over the both of you as the conversation lengthened and the laughter began. You got to know a lot about Bayan and where she came from but there were more sensitive parts that she left vague and you got the hint not to press for anymore information.
Then she shifted the conversation to you.
"Oh, me?' You scratched the back of your head with a nervous laugh. "There's not much to say. My great grandparents were farmers and my grandmother and mother are first and second generation Kisaeng and eventually that got passed down to me."
You recall your time back home in the village. Your friends. The sights and smells from the marketplace. How your mother taught you how to bake and sew and the books you heard from your late grandmother to help you read and write since your family couldn't afford an education. Looking back at it all, it really did lessen the mistreatment from more socially high standing nobles and the harsh poverty you were so accustomed to.
"Even though the role of Kisaeng was passed down to me by the law and my mother worked hard to care for me, I always saw this sadness in her eyes whenever she smiled." There's a tightness in your chest, a melancholy feeling that almost tempts you to cry but you don't. Instead you smile through it.
Bayan's eyes softened, practically wanting to cry for you as she too understood the love of a mother doing everything to make sure her daughter was taken care of long after she's long gone. Even if it means she has to smile through the pain.
To your surprise, Bayan arms have suddenly wrapped around you, pulling you in tight. You are startled at first but steadily relax to the rhythm of your heartbeats syncing up and pulsing against one another.
"I-I hope I didn't upset you, my lady." You start stammering again. Your face becoming flushed with heat. "I--I don't usually speak about my personal life to anyone even if the ladies in my rank probably have similar stories."
"It's nothing like that, y/n," Bayan mumbled, "It's just I want you to know I understand where your coming from and a lot of what you said reminded me of my mother."
Eventually Bayan let go and the two women stared at each other for a moment. Awkward giggles and slowly eaten sweets to lighten the mood between them.
Somehow, the chocolate sweets made the moment that much sweeter, leaving a new found lightness in your chest as you played a song on the flute gifted to you from Bayan herself.
"Are you sure I can keep it? I-It's lovely but--"
"It's yours, y/n." Bayan assured, holding your hands again and curling your fingers around the instrument. "You may simply thank me by playing to heart's content." Her gaze lingered on your lips. "And please, call me Bayan from now on. There's no need for formalities between us."
Your eyes sparkles, your chest pounding with excitement. "Th-ank you, Bayan."
As you played to your heart's content through the course of your time together, Bayan plucked a nearby Mugunghwa and placed it into your hair and when the picnic was over, she just had to leave a goodbye kiss on your soft cheek as a thank you for spending the day with her.
You were a delighted but blushing mess of emotions that night that were sure to keep you awake.

miguel o’hara x assistant!fem! reader pt. 2
hi!! UR GIRLY JUST TOOK THE UPCAT (ISKOLAR NG BAYAN WISHING 🤞🏻✅) anyways here’s part 2 cuz i desperately needed to cool off after taking that very hard exam but anyways.
here’s part 1 of this lil dirty fic!!
nsfw under the cut
miguel wouldn’t admit it but… it was kinda pathetic on his part he had to go so far to poke you around until you two exploded with each other. not that it wasn’t his thing for snapping at people but he did sometimes take a lot of that behavior of his on you. but he couldn’t help it, you know? do you even know how fucking hard he was controlling himself back the moment you signed up for him? how eager you were to work beside him when the spider-society was created? did you even know the nights he spends jacking off when you came around wearing that same black pencil skirt you were wearing that hugged your ass so perfectly? how the way you practically challenged him on arguments and so? how that look on your face when he towers over you made his dick go hard?
no.
so yeah, your his fault really.
“fuck…” he groans out as you gripped his hair tight between your fingers. nails scratching his scalp as you bucked your hips against his mouth, cunt rubbing on his face as he slurps, taking every juice your sweet pussy leaks out for him. only for him.
“so sweet, cariño. ‘s practically happy to see me.” he sighs out between his kisses and slurps, drowning in, giving you every bit of pleasure like he feels when you tell him or practically whine for him to give you more. he’ll give you everything really.
“miguel. please. need you more.” you huff out, it’s been a good handful of minutes since he started devouring your cunt like a starved man. man practically ripped your underwear with his fangs and hands as he threw it somewhere across the room. but you wanted him so much more, practically missed the way he was towering over you a while ago.
“what’d i say, huh?” he breaks away from your cunt, lips messy and wet as you stared down at him with teary and lustful eyes. “i’m being nice.” he kisses your thigh again, nipping it lightly as he finally stands up. your eyes shoot down to see the evident bulge on his spider suit but you knew that wasn’t the entirety of it knowing that damn suit is so damn tight on his body. not that you didn’t like the
“it’ll be even nicer if you get in me.” you cooed, a little breathless as you opened your legs wider. he lets out a little laugh as he ducks down to kiss you. you sigh happily between his lips, getting to grip his shoulders as he starts removing the buttons on your blouse.
“mhm. can’t even wait for it, huh? that desperate for cock, amor?” he grins between your lips as impatience took over him when he saw your pretty little bra concealing your breasts, he had to cut it off as purposely retract out those claws he’s hiding making you squeal at the sudden movement. the sharp snap of your bra shredded.
“miguel!“
“shut it.” he says, tossing the ruined lacy bra over his shoulder as you pouted, wriggling out of your blouse as he bends down to capture your nipple between his teeth, careful to be gentle knowing his fangs. you sigh out, caressing his tousled hair as miguel turned his attention to the other one while his hand reached to cup his crotch, groaning as he relieved the pressure a bit in the area.
“mierda. open those legs wide again, cariño.” he commands, tapping your thighs. “hurry up.”
impatient fucker. you roll your eyes, even in sex he was still taking the leadership role. “if you weren’t so keen shredding my bra off, we would be doing so much-“
“that mouth ain’t gonna shut up, huh?” he tsks as he grips your hips tight, pulling to him for your crotch to be flushed against his making you shut up.
“‘s rude interrupting me every damn sentence, you know.” you grumbled grinding down, gasping a bit when the warmth of his cock was replaced, expecting his tight suit you were gonna be grinding on. you look down, seeing the suit opened in that area, you look puzzled, knowing how advanced his suit is but you didn’t expect this? you thought the feature was mainly for his upper body, seeing countless times he was injecting himself with that drug he uses. rapture?
“that’s cool.” you tilt your head to the side, grinning seeing how flushed red his cock was. the tip angry and swelling with precum.
“and it’s rude to stare, sweetie.” he retorts from your previous complaint. he grips himself as you place kisses on his neck up to his lips, hugging him close as your feet wrapped around his tiny waist, the tip of his cock nudging between your folds. he sighs out, pushing in as he rests his forehead against yours. breaths mingled, heat tingling, the way your walls welcomed him with that searing wet warmth he dreamed of every night. fuck, he was in heaven. you gripped his shoulders hard, clawing on his muscles, he was big, too big and girthy but you couldn’t stop now.
“‘s so big, miguel.” you whined, naked breasts squishing on his hard chest, nipples hard as ever as you stared at his red beady eyes. “so big…”
“yeah, i know, but you can take it, can you? i know this sweet pussy can take it.” he whispers, kissing you softly. “be a good girl and take my cock.”
“mhmm…” you moaned as he slowly but surely pushed in further, gripping your ass tight as he slapped them both making you whine.
“so good, so fucking tight and wet. ‘s dripping.” he chuckles as you groan out when he bottoms in, crotch flushed against each other, your clit close to his abdomen.
“oh, god…” you tap his shoulders, wanting him to move but he knew you had to adjust first to his length, he didn’t wanna hurt you in anyway.
“be patient.” he whispers harshly, slapping your ass again, making you buck your hips.
“i am!”
“doesn’t look like it, amor.” your heart flutters again at the endearment. miguel smirks as he gives in, liking the way you get all so shy all of the sudden. he thrusts experimentally, feeling your walls slightly unclamp around his cock which makes him groan out when you clamp around him again. you stare down to where his cock is finally moving, it’s all a stupor now in your mushed brain as miguel grinned from above when he stills for a moment, half of his cock out, leaving you writhing for the fullness you crave.
he slams back in almost immediately, you yelp gripping tightly on his big biceps as he starts thrusting, pounding into you relentlessly now. miguel groans as he watches you helplessly gripping on him, he knew you’d tire out as he watches you with smug-ass grin when you lean backward, elbows resting on the desk, head tilting back as you closed your eyes, a chorus of moans and whimpers coming out of your lips as he fucks you good.
“good girl.” he praises as claws on your waist, biting his lip hearing those wet squelches emit inside of his lab along with your breathless voice begging him for more, to go harder. he, of course, listens as he adjusts you to tower over your leaned frame. kissing you with much tongue and teeth. his hearts pounding uncontrollably when you spit out how good he is and when you finally open your eyes and grin at him when you catch him staring at you in daze and quiet admiration.
shit. he’s got it bad.
he groans when he notices you getting a little pitchier in your moans, your legs around his waist constricted and your walls clamped around his cock tight, signaling you’re almost there. he smirks, one hand reaching down to rub that clit a few times, still pounding hard until you finally shoot up and squeal, wrapping your arms around his neck, bucking up ferociously as his cock still drove into you.
“close. ‘m close.” he pants, groaning out as you watch him in awe when fastens his pace, slamming in hard as he cums inside you. you smiled, feeling the warmth shoot inside you as miguel panted and slumped down a bit in front of you with his one hand keeping him leverage from crushing you and ruining the desk with both of your weights. a moment of silence transpires as you caress the back of his neck, kissing him lightly of whatever skin you come in contact with as miguel panted next to your ear.
“that was not supposed to happen.” he says, a little stupefied as you chuckled, rolling your eyes as you cup his cheeks for him to look at you. seeing those red eyes dilate, practically teary and puppy eyed when you peck his lips. he pulls out slowly, you two hissing together at the loss of contact as the cool air of the lab regulated your sweaty bodies.
“maybe it did have to.” you only say, a much more deeper meaning behind it as miguel went quiet, the expression on his face clear as ever, he was thinking about it. you smiled, pulling him down for a kiss in which he happily obliges.
“mierda, woman. you still not tired?” he asks between kisses in which you giggled, shaking your head causing him to growl as you widened your eyes.
“let me rest first, o’hara!”
“you started it-“
“i did not!”

Stelle and March 7th dealt with your constant rambling of your 5th 'happy crush' this year. "Promise! Iba na to, I sweaar!" You'd giggle, but the two just gave each other a look and back at you. "Whatever you say..." Knowing damn well you've said that every single time, and they were in fact, not different.
Just like clockwork, at the same hour and at the same place, Dan Heng quietly walks by the table the three of you were seated on. His earphones in his ears as he's kept busy with whatever is on his phone, you catch a quick glance and you start to cover your mouth and giggle. "Haysss, ampogi ni crush." You'd say while kicking your feet, and Stelle and March 7th's jaw DROPS at the realization.
"SIYA??" The pair said together, slamming the table and jolting up from their seats, the same baffled expression as they looked at you. "Oo, b-bakit? Mali ba desisyon ko?" You stammered, putting your hands up in the air while smiling awkwardly.
Stelle crosses her arms, and March 7th puts a hand on her hip and the other points at you.
"Super super cold yun. As in parang aircon." Stelle huffs, nodding her head in agreement to March's statements. "Ang weird ninyo, of course hindi ako magcoconfess!" You retaliate, grabbing your phone from your hand and passing it over to them. "Hanggang notes app yung rants na sobrang pogi niya, wala naman akong plano sabihin sakanya eh." You watch as Stelle grabs it from the table and March 7th takes a peek at what you were showing.
Was the last thing you added, shrugging your shoulder as you accepted your feelings most likely not being reciprocated.
Stelle looks at the phone, looks at you, one more look to the phone and finally a disgusted stare in your direction. "Corny mo."
"Alam ko naman."
"You're hopeless." March 7th sighs, going on her phone to what you could only assume to be and check whatever notification made it go off and buzz.

🌺 ABOUT THE MANHWA (read it here)
Bayan is an outcast amongst the Siyo, a people who have healing powers. Considered worthless because she doesn’t have the ability to heal others, Bayan is sent to the court of Dhan, the Great Sun Emperor, who is cursed with unrelenting bloodlust and slaughters his concubines mercilessly. It seems that Bayan’s fate is sealed the moment she reaches the emperor’s palace and Dhan is fated to suffer from madness forever... But together, Bayan and Dhan just might be able to change each other’s destiny.
Elixir Of The Sun is a historical romance about our main characters Dhan and Bayan overcoming fate and finding love in one another through trials and tribulations. The Manwha is adapted from the light novel "Lord Of The Sun" written by Soldam and does contain dark, sensitive and explicitly adult scenes where as the manhwa is careful to tone it down for a mature audience.
🌺 TRIGGER WARNINGS!
Should you choose to read Elixir Of The Sun, please keep in mind that:
- sexual violence is part of its story in terms of information (no scene is ever depicted but there is a close call regarding the main character in chapters 9 & 10)
- depictions of self inflicted injuries (the main character has healing blood and has to stab herself multiple times throughout the story)
- a failed un-aliving attempt in chapters 41 & 42. The main character was sleepwalking.
- In Chapters 110 - 115 there is a extreme depiction of excessive blood and violence but no gore is present.
Thankfully, the story doesn't force its plot to have these things as the main point, it merely uses these plot devices to reinforce and focus on the romance and subtle fantasy plot surrounding the bond of Bayan and Dhan.

Seven Sundays
- Six childhood friends were once inseparable. Having spent most of the youth together, they grew up apart. Living each of their lives that they have never made time to reunite just like how when they were still young. But what if one of them is diagnosed with terminal illness and had only seven weeks to live?

apov.
Small hands scribble slowly on the piece of paper. Carefully yet the penmanship was quite messy. Coming into the scene, three more children squeeze their selves to write their own letters.
reader.
It was Sunday. Feeling heat brush upon my face, rays poking my body awake, my eyes opened to another day. I smiled, 'Birthday ko na'. Getting up, a large smile is plastered on my face as I stretch my limbs and let out a yawn to start the day. Looking beside my bed, a photo of my parents who also had their big toothy grins to greet me 'good morning'.
"Good morning Tatay, good morning Nanay. 28 na panganay niyo. Bilis no? I slightly scrunch my face in cringe upon the realization before letting out a sigh. I quickly grab my phone from my bed and rush downstairs.
As always, my younger brother Jeno was there to greet me. "Good morning birthday girl." He flashes his eye smile as I reflect his expression. I dash to him and give him the biggest hug, "Salamat bunso. Good morning din sayo."
I sit down, eyeing the scrumptious food he made. "Angas mo naman Jeno. Bakit ka nandito? Maghanap ka na ng asawa mo."
He laughs at my remark, "Wag na kawawa ka naman ikaw naman yung mawawalan ng kasama. Forever singl-"
Enjoy ate." He cooed at me jokingly as he sits down beside me, earning a smack on the head from me. "Aray!"
I open my phone, dozens of notifications going off and popping up into my screen. Lifting my thumb to open the first message only to be interrupted by a call.
'Tumbang Preso Gang'
I smile widely as I accept the call. "Uy Ningning!"
"Hoy beh! Happy birthday! Anak, remember your Tita Y/N? It's her birthday today come on greet her. Dali!" Napatawa ako ng marinig ang nagdadaliang paa. A young face appears on the screen and with enthusiasm she greets, "Happy Birthday Tita!"
"Thank you pamangkin. Anlaki mo na! Pag bumisita kayo I'll treat you to Jollibee, okay?"
As I chat with Ningning and my niece another person joins the call.
"Salamat ah, Winwin." I roll my eyes at his weird greeting to be quickly replaced with a smile after. Not long after, another one joins the call.
"Happy birthday!"
I chuckle in glee for their warm greeting. "Salamat Taeyong! Bibisita ba kayo? Lulutan namin kayo ni Jeno ng pagkain!"
The call fell silent.
"Ano kasi, may work pa ako."
"Nasa business trip pa."
"May pasok pa ako at ng anak ko."
My smile stayed on my face while the brightness on my eyes fell clouded with disappointment but I wanted to understand.
"Sorry." They all said. I try to lift up the corners of my lips to the biggest grin I could, "Okay lang! I chuckle and we quickly tried to catch up with each others lives before our call came to an end.
I sigh, looking down at the plate of food that didn't seem so appetizing as earlier.
"Okay lang yan ate. Pasyal tayo mamaya, hm?
Jeno rolls his eyes with a grin.
scene change.
They arrive at their parents' grave. Sitting on the stone chair that was built beside the tomb. The girl sighs as she opens her tumbler, pouring some water into a white vase that stood on top of the lapida.
"Hi Pa, Ma. Nandito na kami ni Jeno." She coos as Jeno joins to sit beside her.
Sumbong ng nakababata, earning a playful shove from his sister.
"Oy di naman sobra ka ha."
They continue to bicker in front of their parents' tomb, as if they were really there to watching them. As if, they were children again under their parents' loving gazes. Telling stories, anecdotes to the marbled lapida in front of them, reminiscing their childhood.
timeskip.
It was already 10PM, the moon shone and the stars sparkled brightly along with the humming of crickets. Y/N watched whatever show the television offered while Jeno was cleaning up.
"Ginreet ka ba ate ni Kuya Doyoung?" Tanong ni Jeno na nasa kusina.
She sighs in disappointment, "Hindi nga eh. Ghoster talaga yang kaibigan ko."
"Oh talaga kaibigan ba?"
Hearing the refrigerator open, her ears perked up. As if a meerkat, she sits up and stretches her neck to see her brother putting the cake they bought earlier aside already.
"Jeno!" She called, startling the younger.
"Oh?! Ano ba yan ate nakakagulat ka." He places a hand over his heart as he holds the box of cake in his other hand.
"Wag mo muna itabi yung cake! Baka may dumating pa. Ikaw naman. May dalawang oras pa oh di pa tapos birthday ko." She huffed.
"Mm sige." He closed the ref, and placed the cake on the table.
Just at the right time, the doorbell rang.
"Oh diba sabi ko sa iyo eh."
A grin finds it way in her face, 'Sabi ko na eh.'
Dashing to the door, she opens it to reveal a man holding a bouquet of yellow roses. Pleased with the gift, yet she still felt a little disappointed upon seeing the person.
"Doc? Napabisita ka!"
"Good evening Y/N, happy birthday." He hands the flowers to her that she gladly accepts as she quickly sniffs the flowery scent.
"Salamat po! Pasok ka-"
"Hindi na. May kailangan lang ako sabihin sa iyo."
Her eyebrows furrowed, "Ano po iyun?"
timeskip.
"Ano?"
"It's true. I'm dying. Stage 4 Lung Cancer. 2-3 months more to live." Said Y/N. Ningning rises from her seat, walking towards her to envelop her in a tight hug. "Hindi pwede! Ayoko!"
We need to get a second opinion. Wika ni Winwin, receiving a shrug from the sick girl as a response. "We don't even have enough for my medication. Feeling hands on her shoulders, soft yet grasping, she looks up to see her younger brother smiling yet his eye smile was not evident.
"Money is not the issue here.
Sayang naman yung natitira kong ganda no." She joked but no one seemed to be quite amused with her statement. She sighs and continues, "Basta. Wag na tayo magpagamot. I'm okay with the life I've lived already."
"Ayaw mo ba gumaling?" Winwin asked, raising his voice a bit.
"That's what I have been doing all my life if you haven't noticed."
"Oh talaga?"
The two men stare each other down with daggers coming from their eyes as the tension in the silence rises. Jeno clears his throat to cut off the heated atmosphere, "Botohan nalang!" He suggests.
Sakto!" Their heads turn to a pink haired guy who shrugs, not knowing anything as he has just arrived.
"What's up?" Tanong ni Taeyong.
"'What's up?' Kung mas maaga ka you'll know what's up."
"Buhay niya, choice niya." Taeyong chooses and the decision was made as he sits on a vacant chair. Y/N smiles at the view, "Parang lalong ayaw ko na magpagamot ah."
"Ha?" Taka ni Winwin.
"I like what I see. Ito lang naman ang gusto ko eh. Yung kompleto tayo. Tutal, pitong linggo nalang. Hm?"

It was the second Sunday and the siblings have just finished buying their grocery. It was a cute and pleasant time for the brother and sister until a ringer goes of obnoxiously loud. The people that passed by gave them glares, eyes darting toward Jeno's pocket where he kept his phone.
"Sorry, sorry. Peace lang hehe." He fishes his phone from his pocket and answers the call.
"Ano ba yan di ba yan naka-vibrate?"
He continues to talk on the phone as they walk around. There was not much for his sister to pick up from the call as he only responded with words and intonations that agreed.
"..Mhm? Sige bye!", he signs off and ends the call. He shoves his phone back into his pocket and clings onto his sister as they walk.
"Ay! Ate sorry may kailangan pala akong bilhin. Check ko dito ah!" And he runs off to nowhere before she even speaks a word.
It took him quite long before he was back.
"Ano binili mo?"
He frowned and sighed.
"Ano ba kasi yu-"
"Shet ate sandale natatae ako!" Iyak ni Jeno na hindi na matiis-tiis.
"Ano?
Walang disi-"
Seeing balloons displayed by the posts of their porch, chairs and table covered in white cloth organized by the garage, a two-tiered cake standing proud by the catering, and warm loving smiles from familiar faces.
"Happy Belated Birthday Y/N!" They greeted in chorus, as they hold onto the long banner that greeted her a great birthday as well.
"Kayo talaga!" Cried the birthday girl, feeling touched by the sweet surprise as she wipes a tear that couldn't help but fall in glee.
Everyone came running to the girl, enveloping her in a loving embrace. "Thank you sa inyong lahat."
They pull away to see her face as they still kept their arms around her, they cherish this moment the friends reunited once again.
"Ay! Yung cake dali!"
Taeyong rushes to the catering and grabs the cake while one of the waiters light a fire on the candle that stood in the middle of the dessert. He stands in front of the birthday girl with a wide smile and said, "Ayan magwish ka na!"
"Beh! Eto o liempo!"
"Crispy Pata at your service." Followed by Taeyong with Doyoung quietly trailing beside him.
"Grabe 'to ansarap!"
"Huy ano ba yan. 'Wag yan! Winwin scolded while getting food from the catering. Y/N sighed as the two in front of her were in disbelief. "Gusto mo ng fruits?" Alok ni Winwin.
"Beh, fruits?" Ningning questioned.
"Oh! Ito na daw eh!"
Winwin scoffed at their actions, "Wow ako nalang ba talaga may pakielam sa kaibigan natin?
Y/N retorted as she digs in to the food.
"Edi sana di na pala ako nagpa-cater." Winwin whispered under his breath but it was not left unheard by Taeyong.
"Sino ba kasi nagsabi magpa-cater ka? Dapat kasi nagtatanong ka diba?" Doyoung answered back, shaking his head.
"Oh ano nanaman? Andami mong kaso sakin. Parang matagal na to ah." Before the argument could even heat up more, Y/N stands up with her seat loudly scratching on the cement before walking inside the house.
"Ayan nagwalk na tuloy. Masaya na kayo?" Ningning sighed as she leans back on her chair, eyeing the two who ruined the mood.
"Susundan ko siya."
"Ako na pupunta."
Winwin and Doyoung stopped in their tracks as they spoke at the same time.
"Wag na ako na." Ningning pushes her way out of the two to follow after her friend.
"Hoy!" Their eyes dart towards Jeno who was also waiting by their door, "Halika'yo mag-usap tayo." He said as he proceeds into their house. Winwin shoots Doyoung another glare before he follows inside.
scene change.
The three were silent in the dining room. The uncomfortable atmosphere surrounds them, rather it was suffocating. Later on, they heard footsteps nearing and their heads turned to the staircase where it was coming from.
Ningning joins them along with Taeyong who appeared from the kitchen.
"Kamusta siya?" Doyoung asks.
"Ayun, okay lang."
"So pwede na siya kausapin?" Winwin questions as well as he rises from his seat.
Ningning answers and Winwin sits down again.
"So ano na?"
"Edi ayun mukhang mamamatay mag-isa yung kapatid ko." Jeno earned glares from all of the friends and he chuckles. "Ay sorry, na-offend ko ba kayo? Akala ko okay lang sa inyo eh."
"Gago siyempre hindi." Winwin says.
Siguro magplastikan nalang kaya kayo?" Jeno suggests, earning a hum from the others. It's worth the shot, especially if it was for their dear childhood friend.
"Ako kaya ko." Doyoung agrees. Ningning forces a smile and places her hand at the center of the table, looking at the other in anticipation. They all followed, putting their hands on top of each other. Jeno was the last to join in, sealing the agreement.

It was the third sunday, the alarm rings to wake up Y/N. Weakly, she turns the sound off and groans. Sighing, she sits up groggily and forced a smile at the picture frame before her.
"Morning Pa, Ma."
She leaves her room, heading downstairs. A running child making her stop in her tracks. "Nak! Careful ha?" She hears coming from the dining room. She continues her way down to see Ningning preparing the table for breakfast.
"Oh! Gising ka na? Good morning!" She greets oddly loud and rushes to her friend to give her an embrace.
The boys peep from the kitchen and hid again to rush each other. They came out of the door one-by-one greeting their dear friend who had just woke and confused.
"Morning bff."
"Good morning."
"Morning!"
She stares in awe at the food that they carried to place on the wooden furniture.
"Good morning-- sandale ano ito?" Y/N asked, still surprised with their sudden gesture.
"Well kasi, gusto namin bumawi sa ginawa namin nung nakaraang linggo." Doyoung says, sparing Winwin a glance and a smile who reflected his actions.
She hums, grinning to herself. Feeling quite touched with their amends.
"Oh ano! Kain na!"
They all took a seat, Doyoung naturally finding a seat beside Y/N, not noticing Winwin who didn't look as pleases but remembered to keep up with their act for the sake of their friend and sat beside him. Ningning was trying to call her child back to eat with them as she sits, Jeno placed the last plate of food on the table before taking a seat beside her. Taeyong was sat between Jeno and Y/N.
They removed the foil covering the food one-by-one.
"Kayo nagluto niyo?" Y/N was in awe as she looks at the scrumptious food, freshly cooked with steam coming from it.
"Oo kami pa!" They chuckled and then started to dig into their breakfast.
Exchanging juicy stories as they listen keenly, laughing at jokes heartily, it was a good time during this late morning.
scene change.
It was almost midnight yet they still filled the home with their laughs and yells as they played a game of cards. Although it was pleasant to feel so much joy especially with them complete, Y/N felt the need to take a break to take a breather.
"Hoy! Touch-move ka dugas-"
"Guys, labas lang ako ah pahangin ako." She interrupts and excuses herself while still trying to suppress her laughter. Earning hums and nods instead as they were still busy arguing over the game.
Slowly standing up, she walks towards the porch, walking past the door that was left open to welcome the night's breeze. She crosses her arms against her chest and deeply inhales. Her eyes stare towards the shimmered black sky. The moon proudly shining over the stars. Soon, maybe she'll be seeing the same sky in her next life or maybe, she'd be in another world where people didn't have to suffer and go.
Her thoughts were cut off by her phone ringing in her pocket. Jumping as she wasd startled but soon re3covered to take the phone call.
"Good evening doc!" She greets warmly.
"Uy good evening!"
"Ano po iyun, doc?"
"Good news! It was just a misdiagnosis. You just have TB infection but- madaling magamot, hindi nakakahawa, at better news, you can live for decades pa! Baka nga maabutan mo pa ang senior citizen card mo eh!" She lightens up at the news, even laughing along with her doctor.
I also apologize for the worry I caused pero eat healthy and live healty ha?"
"Opo!
"Oo bunso." She pulls away from the hug and smiles at her brother.
"Wag."
"Huh?"
"Tignan mo." The girl's eyes darted towards her friends who were already playing a new game.
She stares into nothing, deep in thought once again.
"Beh!" Ningning calls, "Sino tumawag?"
"Ah wala si doc lang. Nangangmusta." She forces a smile before walking back to them.
"Oh so ano itong laro natin?"
scene change.
Everyone was still awake at 2AM, snacking on chips and biscuits to let the night go by. They were complete at the dining table but Doyoung stands up to excuse himself. Y/N's eyes followed him as he goes upstairs. Debating with herself whether to follow him or just save her words for another day, she fidgets with her fingers.
"A-ano ibig mong sabihin?" Doyoung now turns around, facing the girl as he towers her being three steps ahead of her.
"Stay here please...until I die." Her eyes never left his, pleading for his acceptance as he steps down to get closer.
"Pero bakit ako?
"Basta. Just stay for the remaining weeks or even live here after. Please?" He couldn't say no, gulping a lump in his throat before giving in as he nodded. "I will."
Soon he was wrapped in her arms, his broad body squeezed in such a tight hug. Feeling awkward, he brings a hand up to caress the top of her head. "I missed you. Ang tagal mong hindi nagparamdam."
"It's okay. I'm here now and I'm sorry." They enjoyed this moment, savoring the touch of the other but they can't admit it. Nothing exactly stopped them. but it definitely would hurt more if they tried. As all these happened, listening ears hid under the stairs. He pursed his lips as he felt a sharp pain coming straight to his heart.

It was the fourth sunday. The waves gently pushed themselves to the shore, the shattered reflection of the moon sparkled, the white sand felt soft under their feet. They were all sat around a bonfire, its heat warming them up in this chilly night.
"Tita what's that?"
"That's a capsule that we put letters in, like a diary but the catch is we get to read it in the future.
"And we already have come to that future so...pwede na siya basahin."
Meron namang laging next time!"
"Weh pano mo nasabi?" Asar ng babae at napatawa ang lahat. "Char lang, ako nga iyan. Ayan kasi mga mang-iiwan." Jokingly, the girl rolls her eyes, earning teasing from her friends.
She pouted and of course, Ning couldn't resist her friend as she hugged her back. "Okay na yan jusko. Matagal na yan. Oh ano, next na!"
And as she sad, Y/N shakes the capsule again but this time she raises the capsule above her head, "Win, ikaw pumili." The man doesas she said, closing his eyes as he picks up a letter as well.
He opens his eyes to see white paper this time, unfolding the letter and clearing his throat before he reads:
They all wore knowing smiles, suppressing their giggles while one of them was flushed in embarrassment.
"Oh my god naalala ko 'to!" Ningning couldn't help but laugh out loud as she repeatedly hit the girl beside her.
"Ning! Ano ba may sakit ako tas panay hampas mo lang!" Y/N scolded playfully but Ningning obliged to stop.
"Ay sensya na pero ayun nga," She swallows a lump in her throat to calm down, "Si Kuya Win ata yan."
"Ay oo! Yung love triangle!" Dagdag ni Jeno which made all of them burst out in laughter, except the said love triangle.
"Si Doyoung gusto nito diba?" Taeyong asks while pointing at Y/N.
"Ano ba yan ang tagal na niyan. Wag niyo na ibalik." Winwin cries as he rolled his eyes but he only earned knowing hums.
"Weh matagal na nga ba?"
The teasing went on for a while and the three felt quite uncomfortable. Doyoung, who was sitting across the sick girl, noticed how quiet she went and decided to speak up.
"Huy, ano ba awat na nga yan. Sobra na yan." Silence quickly overcame them, the sound of crickets and gentle crashing of waves were suddenly resounding.
Jeno noticed the sudden tension in the atmosphere, clearing his throat to speak up, "Oh ano next na!"
timeskip.
It was a busy fifth sunday at quarter to midnight. Folded mattresses lying on the floor topped with pillows, comforters, and thick blankets.
"Jeno!" The girl called for the boy who was in the kitchen, busy making late night snacks.
"Ano?" He responded.
"Malapit na daw sila!" He only hummed as a reply as he sped up in making the food.
She walks outside to their porch, feeling the familiar night's breeze once again. Noticing how the moon was on it's other phase, 'Quarter moon siguro?' She thought.
"Maganda nga naman talaga tignan ang bitui't buwan, no?" Doyoung chimes in, startling the girl who was busy sky watching.
"Ano ba yan, Doyoung! Walang warning?" "Over mo ha."
Her eyes widened at his remark, "Ikaw talaga. Kung di ka lang gwapo eh." She mutters the last sentence under her breath but it still couldn't go unnoticed by the lad.
"Ano?"
"Wala."
And they went quiet, it was rather comfortable to have each other's presence watched under sight of the shimmered black sky. Doyoung turns his back against the stone fence, leaning on it and sighing.
A question pops up in her head as she copies the latter's actions, " Doyoung may tanong ako?"
"Hm?"
He didn't know what to say. In all reality, even after the events during highschool they never seemed to get along anymore. Maybe until now, none of them have thought of giving up on their feelings. Their arguments always held meaning, defining some jealousy and betrayal buried deep in their words.
"Ayaw mo ba gumaling?" Winwin asked, raising his voice a bit.
"That's what I have been doing all my life if you haven't noticed."
He gulps, finding the right words to say, "Madami rin namang nagbago.
She nodded, just accepting the answer that she received.
"Ikaw. He teased, his gummy smile evident and she felt heat rush in her cheeks, her head hung low to hide it from him.
"Ano ba! Antagal na rin nun."
Later on, they hear a car nearing. Slowly it appears on their driveway to park and the engine was then quieted down.
The car door opens and the person gets off, revealing Ningning who was in her pajamas already.
"Hi beh!" She excitedly greets, they dashed together to give each other a tight hug. As if they didn't see each other last week.
"Hi! Y/N pulls away from the hug and smirked as she looks up an down at Ningning's flowery pink pajamas. "Oo syempre no. Saves time ren." She winked and they giggled as they walked towards the house,
"Saan pala pamangkin ko?" The girl asks as they walked,
"Ay may sarili ding sleepover yun. Nag-eenjoy yun with friends." Ningning answered and sees Doyoung waiting by the porch.
"Oh?
Excited masyado?" She covered up for Doyoung who couldn't answer right away and he felt a wave of relief. The girl also pushes Ning to proceed inside as she distracts her with more questions.
Soon, Winwin and Taeyong arrived and they were gathered in the living room to watch a movie.
Winwin and Ningning were comfortable on the couch, and below them sat the remaining three on the mattress while Jeno sat on the lounge chair.
They all silently watched the movie, its genre leaning on romance and comedy. No one uttered a word, unless to comment, laugh, or asking to reach for the snacks.
A phone rang, breaking the silence. They all groaned hearing the ear-splitting alarm.
"Huy kanino yan!" Taeyong complained as Doyoung frantically fishes his phone to pick up the call.
"Oo na eto na nga eh."
'Ninong'
"Ay si Ninong tumatawag." He informs to all of them but the name was unfamiliar.
"Si Dok, ninong ko yun diba? Oh sandale, excuse me lang. Nood lang kayo diyan." He excuses himself and stands up to answer the call.
Y/N's breath hitched, she stands up and rushed to follow after Doyoung.
"Ninong?"
"Hi Doyoung.
He answers, looking back at Y/N who was standing behind him. Looking oddly pale.
"Ahh okay sige.
"Ah opo sige. Ipapaalala ko lang sa kaniya." She could see him tighten his grip on his phone. Veins blue and green were evident and his neck has reddened.
She let them bid their goodbyes and not long after, he already put down his phone.
"TB?" Doyoung turns to her, tears pooling in his eyes and the irritation evident in his voice.
"Doyoung-"
"Tinago mo lang sa amin? Dalawang linggo na, tinago mo lang?" His voice raises as his sentence progress and she was not able to form any words.
"Wala kang cancer?" Taeyong asks, appearing behind them.
She shakes her head as she looks down at the floor, watching her tears land on the cold tiles.
"Nag-alala kaming lahat! Tas itatago mo lang? Bakit?" Doyoung cries, calling Winwin, Jeno, and Ningning's attention as they also appear in the scene.
"Bakit?"
"Kasi ayaw ko kayong mawala! Antagal niyong nawala. She answers, tears rushing down her cheeks continuously as she spoke.
Ningning couldn't keep her tears to stay, but so did she as she storms off to get her car keys.
"Ning!"
"Ang unfair rin sa amin, Y/N. Natakot kami para sa wala." Winwin walks out as well. She tries to rin after them but was held back by her brother.
"Ate, hayaan muna natin sila."
She continues to cry on Jeno's chest as he stroked her hair to calm her down.
They all left, even Doyoung who packed up and grabbed a taxi to leave.
Jeno never left her alone in her room but she continued to cry despite that.
They almost had everything, but they were back to their lives without each other again. All because she wanted to keep them together.
timeskip.
Time flew and it was already the sixth sunday. A car stops in front of a building. A condominium to be exact. He enters the building as he brought with him a box of cake. Pressing the elevator button, it opens at his command and he enters.
Soon he arrives at his floor, walking down the hallway to look for a certain room. As he walked more, he was already standing in front of the unit.
Sighing, he rings the doorbell, he could hear it from the outside followed by footsteps nearing the door. It opens to see a familiar face. He forces a smile, "Doyoung."
"Winwin? Andito ka?" Doyoung leans against the door frame, as he asked.
"Mag-usap tayo. Please." The older one obliges, nodding to the inside of his unit. Winwin hesitantly moves along inside, as he took a step he took his time to admire the place.
He chuckles, "Ganda ng lugar mo pre ah."
Doyoung mimics his actions, "Salamat ah."
He walks to his dining table, "Upo ka muna."
Taking notice of the pitcher of juice that stood on his table, he pours some on one of the glasses that were displayed there as Winwin watches his actions. "Here." The older offers the drink which the younger accepts and he finally sits down. "Thank you."
"Now, ano gusto mo pag-usapan?" Doyoung leans back om his chair, crossing his arms against his chest.
"Kaibigan natin."
"Which one?" Winwin rolled his eyes at the question.
"Si Y/N."
"Ano?" The younger pursed his lips at the stubbornness of Doyoung.
"I know we all haven't talked to her at all pero before that may gusto pa akong linawin."
Before Winwin continues to speak, he steadies his breathing and composed himself, "Gusto mo pa ba siya?"
Doyoung felt dry in his throat and his mind blank. He didn't want to admit that he never let go of this love he felt since their younger days.
"B-bakit? Ikaw ba?" He stuttered, sitting up.
"I asked you first pero...oo. Pero I will let go. I can move on." Winwin takes a hold of his glass, sipping on it to taste the sweet tang of apple. "Madaming nagbago, pero kayong dalawa hindi. Lalo na diyan." He hovers over his seat to lean across the table and point at Doyoung's chest where his heart exactly lied.
Winwin fixes his position and stood up straight.
He takes his glass again and chugged all its contents, finishing with an exhale as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
Doyoung stayed quiet still but Winwin knew he still loved her so much. He did feel jealous over all their interactions the past weeks but destiny already wrote its own story waiting to be told by the characters.
"So? Ano na gagawin mo?"
scene change.
It was a chill bonding for the siblings at the mall. About to go home with so many bags hung on their arms. They were about to walk across the street, waiting while the stoplight for the pedestrian lane was on red.
It was then Jeno suddenly looked pale, fumbling around, checking his pockets, and shopping bags. His sister took notice of this as she questions with eyebrows furrowed, "Jeno, ano meron?"
"Ate..." He smiles sheepishly and she knew he messed something up.
"Ano nanaman tignan mo oh patawid na tayo!"
"Yung susi ng bahay..." He looks down at his feet, guilt evident in his voice.
"Ano?" She rakes her hair in frustration and exhaled as if there was smoke coming from her nostrils, "Saan mo naiwan yun? Nako ka dali balik ka dun!"
Before she could say anything else, he dashes off to the mall. Pushing his way through many people and looking through every store they went to.
She looks back at the stoplight, not noticing that the people already have crossed the street.
The figure on the spotlight walked faster, signaling to pedestrians that the vehicles were about to go.
A cry was heard, her ears perking up at the wails. She looks around to see the child in the middle of the road. Her eyes widened, dropping everything she held to grab the child before the cars would drive.
The drivers were already honking their horns but this only brought brought more distress to innocent child that didn't know what to do.
She runs, earning gasps from the other people but she didn't care. Her feet had landed on the road and she continues to save the child out of danger.
Holding the kid's hand as they met eyes, "Halika."
Running away from the road with the child, they safely arrive on the pedestrian lanes. Earning claps and whistles from the other strangers, she bows at their cheers as a woman comes rushing who she assumed was the mother.
"Thank you. Salamat po talaga."
"Walang anuman."
She takes a step back and composes herself from the sudden events, when she hears Jeno calling for her.
"Ate!" He cried, following his gaze that focused beside her. A car running towards her, honking violently but she couldn't process anything right away.
And there she once stood.
scene change.
The friends gathered on top of a low hill overlooking a wide field of lush green grass. The wind blew just right and the sun shone brightly enough. Taeyong, Doyoung, Winwin, Jeno, and Ningning stood there. Taking in the sight of the nature and the blue sky of cirrostratus clouds.
On their hands, they held a white balloon.
Taeyong, Doyoung, Winwin, Jeno, and Ningning stood there. Taking in the sight of the nature and the blue sky of cirrostratus clouds.
"Ready?" Taeyong starts, looking at his friends as they nodded.
"3...2...1..." And the balloons flew high to the sky. Free and not of care where to go. They watch the balloons go high and higher until it was out of sight. They smile, but the tears pooled in their eyes.
"Masaya naman na siguro siya no?" Ningning asks, wiping away her tears with the sleeves of her dress.
"Kasama na niya sina Papa't Mama." Jeno smiled, his eyes never yet leaving the sky.
Winwin says as he sighed.
"Kung saan niya tayo babantayan." Doyoung adds and they all share gazes again, chuckling and agreeing on his statement.
It was a rollercoaster the past weeks, but they all spent time together again. Where they shared laughs, stories, argued, but in the end they were still friends. The same way they were when they were still killing time with pacifiers and milk.
And on this day, marks the end of her Seven Sundays.

Carpenters PL Revisited x Mother Dragon's Hello, Love, Au Revoir
Bakit kasi nag-stick 'yung mga super basic phrases in French from grade school? Ayan tuloy. Ang aga-aga na naman.
Went to restock my pantry with healthier options because though I don't like to admit it, the virus is still in my system. I was legit tired even when I just filled a cart. Or is it the universe telling me to compartmentalize my work and life, before I indulge in workaholism dressed to the nines? I'm on the cusp, to be honest. It looks more than gold, it's like titanium encrusted with diamonds. Or is it time to put my work ultra-smart hat mode on so we'd have a character development? Sinabi ng I won't think about work in this WL e. I don't know if it's just me, but I can still feel mother dragon's presence. Perhaps it's her version of Are You Afraid of the Dark: Magandang Gabi Bayan x KJMS. And this morning, I revisited her go-to PL which is The Carpenters. I used to abhor this group because they're not as popping as her other vibes --Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna and The Beatles.
She loved Karen Carpenter and was devastated to know that she lost her anorexia battle. She watched me carefully during the time when bulimia and anorexia looked cool. She reassured me that being big-boned and plus size is NEVER a liability. My stretch marks are my tigress stripes. My ample hips, thighs and legs are part of my being and doing.
She taught me to embrace my flaws, like my dyslexia. She never believed that I am a slow reader. LOL. She felt that my poor grammar skills can be neutralized by writing and speaking. JUSQ. While I usually get a line of 9 in English, the truth is, I struggled so badly with every timed Phoenix comprehension worksheets. While I misread, mispronounce and misspell a lot, mom felt that I am but making an alibi. She branded me as careless and distracted easily. LOLOLOLLOLL. Mother dragon for three, always! She told me to that while I keep skipping lines when I read out loud, I can use my pointer finger to guide my handicap. Of course, she used verbatim that's too graphic, it's traumatic, because her Tagalog is tumatagos hindi lang sa buto pati sa kaibuturan aka verbal abuse minus the cursing; because she is a classy bitch looking after her kanal daughter.
Reading out loud was always an internal shit show until she instructed me to join declamation contests in English and Filipino. Later on, she egged me to give extemporaneous speeches and debates their precious chances. The struggle escalated because I can barely organize my thoughts, but she told me: It's not about winning. It's about how you play the game AND what you learn from it. She was RBF when I bring home a few medals during my years in school. You see, I am so poor in Math. I guess, the science and history subjects actually keep me up and giddy. However, mom said, that of course, science and history make sense because they're part of the obvious world. LOL. Hindi po talaga siya nagpapatalo. She's poor in math herself so, she can't teach me a lot. We can't afford a math tutor and my grades won't make it to remedial classes, as they're barely hanging.
In mother dragon speak, barely hanging grades meant anything that's lower than 89. May sarili siyang grading system sa utak niya. :D Though I had a few merit cards and was generally part of the Top 10, I was never an honor student. She didn't push for the top of the batch, but she has her own way of grading me. Because I am generally moody, whenever there's something off about my conduct and homeroom grades, mhie, mas lagot ako sa kanya. She has this belief that while grades matter, it's the decorum that goes with it that matters most. Hindi ko na alam saan ako lulugar because I noticed that most of the high achievers in my hood have a seeming social withdrawal and may come off as outlandish and worse, anti-social or socially awkward.
I remember asking her one time if I could try out for the swimming team because the coach is Eric Buhain. Also, I wanted a Speedo duffel bag, too! Iba 'yung feeling 'pag nasa diving board tapos nakakasabay ako in my thicc frame and lampa sa larangan ng sports. Also, I love the water. Iba 'yung effect niya sa akin. Nakakalma ako kahit overthinking pa rin ako. Most importantly, 'pag nasa swimming ako, wala akong ibang iniisip kung 'di 'yung hindi ako lumubog and makatawid sa other end ng pool. The Olympic size pool is like my ice skating rink. Though punggok ako, may advantage naman since bouyant ako saka generally, I can take a deep, deep breath and hold it kahit malimit akong may URTI growing up. The tanned and lean build is just sooooo appealing to me. I can imagine that my shoulders will be broader and my clavicles would pop. I can also shape my wide hips and thicccc thighs and legs. She told me to forget it even when I excel in swimming. She told me that I won't be getting a Speedo duffel bag, swimsuit and swimming cap because we can't afford the expenses that go with it. Ayaw daw niya akong maging kawawa and that while co-curricular activities are good, these don't fit my schedule especially when my brother is still recovering from meningitis. And knowing me daw, for sure, mapapabayaan ko 'yung school stuff because swimming makes me forget the world. Baka raw malihis pa ako ng landas. Syempre, I was beyond heartbroken when I heard this. Sabi ko, okay, wala ng Speedo. I can go with department store stuff (our suking Landmark or SM) and that I won't forget my duties as a forced dutiful ate to my brother. I even told her that I'd do better in math. HAHAHAHAHA. Lahat na po nilagay natin sa table pero, mother dragon put her claws down. She breathed fire to the pawn me. Ashes. Ashes everywhere. She told me that since my skin usually gets fucked when I swim in a pool of chlorine, I might just end up more fucked. She didn't use the word "fucked" ha. That's me hearing what she meant lang talaga. HUHUHUHUHU. I honestly felt like I was treated unfairly even borderline inhumane. At a tender age, I felt like mother dragon wanted to force things in my system instead of allowing me to blossom through adversity. Aywaw. Naisip ko talaga 'yun because we always fight, fight, fight. Siya naman laging nagso-sorry kahit ako mali, as our Taurus-Cancer game is always up and running.
She told me that she doesn't care about that scoreboard because para daw sa kapakanan ko 'yun. LUL. 'Yan na naman siya. Akala mo alam lahat. E siya nga, ending is housewife when she could have been a legit career woman on her way to the top of her game. Hahahahahaha. Syempre, she'd whack me back saying that: Kaya nga, ako ang nanay. Me: OK. Fine. Bye. Bukas ulit. Or mamaya.
I think it took me ages to let go this angst go. Actually, iyak-tawa na naman ako writing this out. The Carpenters PL made me bleed e. So, okay. Go lang. Andito na rin e. Speaking of this PL, it hits different AND it hits home. Mas na-appreciate ko and... love ko na PL na 'to. Currently hunting down a good vinyl for this nga, preferably 'yung vintage. I noticed that the quality of the new vinyls are MEH and BLECH. Kakabadtrip though the aesthetics are better. UGH.
While I can definitely score a good item in Amazon or Ebay, iba pa rin 'pag nahahawakan mo, naamoy, nilalagay mo sa player. May kakaibang euphoria siya as a mababaw person. Today is the day to remember the dead. I find this absurd to be honest. Why so? Because we don't really need to have this day of commemoration, to be honest. We always remember. Sometimes, we choose to forget. Most of the time, we the dead people become so alive in micro-moments and even zero moments of truth. Today, I'm thinking of lighting my Nasugbu candle for mom. I never believe in traditions, but let this be a curious day. Let this be day of remembering her life and her lessons as I make sense of my limited time across this universe, this lifetime. And yes, I'll play her PLs throughout the day. Maiba naman. Try natin if I won't spiral or be triggered. May this day be a day filled with glimmers as her au revoir non-horror keeps coming. Humanda siya. Mature na ako. LOL. Ready na ako to face my demons and hers, too. LUH. Labas ko na ulit 'yung dusty and rusty scoreboard namin.

This blog may become an "canon character x reader" since I'm the only EOTS roleplayer here on Tumblr. I'll definitely write most of the main cast and will make a proper list in the future.
This blog contains dark and triggering themes revolving around sexual violence (mentioned for canon only), death, murder, politics, misogyny, starvation, child abuse, harassment, fire, miscarriages, pregnancy, child birth, kidnapping, cannibalism, poverty, etc. Please do not follow this blog if these themes are a trigger for you as they will be a talking piece on this blog.
"ELIXIR OF THE SUN" is a Korean manwha written by Solddam. The Manwha is a light novel adaptation with a total of seven books that can be purchased on ridibooks.com (you'll have to translate them on your own) and I've already bought them for fifteen dollars.

Reblog memes from the source, please and thanks. Also please ask before turning a meme into a thread.
Regarding fanfiction requests, I have a right to refuse any that I don't like / are on my blacklist (pedophilia, beastiality, incest, non-con, etc) I don't mind writing darker and mature themes but I also appreciate the lighthearted stuff just as much. Smut is a 50/50 for me, depending on my mood.

Since you can think of a lot of aus or tropes for the members.. what tropes or characteristics (?) Do you think suits them the most?🤔... Like for me its
Popular *crush ng bayan* senior! Heeseung 😍
Bad boy / tsundere! Jay 🤤
Sweetheart senior! Jake 😇
Narcissistic popular! Sunghoon 🥵
Sassy bestfriend! Sunoo 💅
Class president! Jungwon 🤓
Enemy! Ni-ki 😈... Now that I think abt it they're all students in these tropes😅😂
And like majority if them would probably be x Sweetheart! reader or a chaotic! reader
*Crush ng bayan kinda means that everyone or like a majority has had/have a crush on the person at some point 🙈
Aww thanks for the compliment Nonny.
I love this ask, it's a very interesting question so be prepared for my longass answers.
Heeseung: The campus crush, everyone is in love with him, similar to See Right Through Me Heeseung.
I love the idea of Bad Boy Heeseung as well, hence I'm writing Wrecking Her Plans 😂.
Outside of school, I think Heeseungs trope could be the CEO trope or Office Lovers, I can totally see a cute office romance starting Heeseung.
With how sweet Heeseung is, a Neighbour's au seems very on brand too.
Jay: Grumpy Jay just hits different 😂. Peace is a good example of that.
The Rich boy trope was MADE for Jay and I'm pretty sure there are fics with Rich Jay as a trope.
At some point I want to write a simp for reader Jay. That might just be my next smau 😂.
Oh a Chef au for Jay. His en-log was very much giving me rich chef making his friends try his dishes before he puts them on the menu vibes.
Jake: The boy is a golden retriever in human form so puppy love/first love trope would be perfect for him.
Sunghoon: I like the mysterious classmate trope for Sunghoon.
But I also think he'd be great in a secret admirer au.
I love the idea of Shy Sunghoon as well, he would be the sweetest, shy Sunghoon with an Extrovert Reader 😂.
Sunoo: He's sassy for days, so frenemies to lovers, like they aren't really enemies but they do love to banter.
I can also see Sunoo as the helpful senior that has a crush on a younger student so he does everything he can to help her and she's got a crush on him too but their both too scared to admit it 😂😂.
Jungwon: Well I already did Student Council President in Unexpected Partners.
A rivals to lovers, I can see with Jungwon, they are both always battling it out for top place. The banter, the rivalry would be top tier until they realise their feelings.
Jungwon is such a sweetheart, I can definitely see him in a sweet college romance. He's just a sweetie pie.
Oooh, Secret Admirer au would be good for Jungwon as well, like these chaotic idiots trying to figure out who his secret admirer is 😂😂.
Niki: I agree that an enemies to lovers would be good for Niki.
I also think he would suit a Gamer au, like I don't know anything abt games but he seems like a Gamer bf 😂.
Class clown as well would fit Niki and I just love that idea.
And those are some of my ideas. This was such fun to do and I actually really want to write the Secret Admirer Jungwon fic and the Simp for reader Jay fic so I'm gonna go plan those 😂. No one be surprised if I suddenly have new Jaywon fics 😂😂.

Maybe a Korra x reader who has the powers of she ra
Tumblr media
(Female Reader)
You were a non bender and had been friends with Korra way before you found the sword. The two of you had been friends since childhood, before Korra and her parents even knew she was the avatar. You were even there when Korra found and took in Naga. When Korra was sent to the White Lotus compound, the White Lotus had tried to end all of Korra’s friendships so she could focus on her training, but you would sneak into the compound almost every night. The guards were usually asleep half the time you snuck in, so it was never that hard to sneak past them.
You were there for Korra when she would reach new achievements, mastering water bending, fire bending, earth bending, etc. You had managed to befriend Katara, who had been the first to recognize the looks of love that you sent the avatar (reminding her of how Aang looked at her). So you didn’t have to sneak in as often the older you got and would just go with Katara instead.
You didn’t go to Republic City with Korra, which broke your best friend’s heart. But she understood why, your mother had gotten sick from an unknown disease and someone had to watch your family bakery until she got better. The two of you would send letter through out the time of separation and all was going well, until your mother passed.
---
Her death had been sudden but not surprising. You had lied to Korra that your mother was getting better when in reality, the last family member you had was slowly slipping away. Not even Katara could heal your mother. You went into a deep depression soon after your mother’s funeral and threw yourself into work. The more you worked, the less time you were alone with your thoughts, the less time you were stuck in an empty house. Slowly, but surely, your letters to Korra were blander and less frequent. Your love for her never faded, but the excitement in your life had.
Finding the sword was your saving grace. You didn’t know how much longer you could last, all the days slowly meshing together into a mess. You had gone on a walk, not something you did often because it left you alone with your thoughts. But something had been, seemingly, calling out to you, urging you to walk. When feeling the urge, you didn’t hesitate to follow it, maybe it was the spirits calling you home to be reunited with you mother.
A cave, a freaking cave... Is what you thought as you stood outside of it. By now, the snow that was falling softly had picked up and you knew you wouldn’t be able to return home until it had calmed. You walked slowly into the cave, trying to make sure there was no wild animal inside of it. As you were checking the cave, a light caught your eye. You followed it to its source, interested in what shone so bright in a cave so dark.
The sword was stabbed into the ground, vines wrapped around it. The light was coming from a bright blue crystal in the middle of the hilt. Who would leave such a beautiful sword here? You wondered as you walked closer to it, looking for traps or even a dead body. When you found nothing, you grabbed the sword and pulled it from the stones and vines. As soon as it was released, a surge of power blasted you back and into the cave wall, knocking you out.
---
You kept and studied the sword after you had woken up in the cave, sword still in hand. You told no one else of what you had witnessed or found and studied in silence, continuing to run your bakery in the day time and practice with the sword through the night. The Legend of She-ra is what the sword was, or supposed to be. You read through the book that most people called a fantasy novel and not non-fiction. You read about the adventures of the best friend squad and a world called Etheria, that was filled with princesses and magic.
You had been confused of the reason that the sword had ended up on Earth but by doing more digging, you found that over thousands of years ago your earth had been Etheria. The magic of the planet slowly effecting everyone and giving them the ability to bend. You learned about how there was light and dark magic, what Raava and Vaatu were made of. How someone named Prince Peekablue created the spirit world with the last of their magic for loved ones to wait for each other before finding eternal peace. Having used their magical powers to see beyond perception to make what they imagined a reality and how the spirit world only became stronger and visible as the magic of the spirits grew.
You read how when the last She-ra, Adora, died the sword wouldn’t work again until it was needed. You read how the sword was hidden for generations until the last of Adora’s bloodline had died out and the sword was lost to the world. Luckily, there were instructions on how to use the sword and practice with it for when it was found. You thanked the spirits that Catra, Finn, and the other authors of the book had left such important information.
---
When Korra returned to the Southern Water Tribe, you weren’t there. After greeting her parents and showing her friends were they would be staying, she ran off towards her best friend and crush’s house. She had missed you since she left the South Pole and even more when you both stopped sending letters. She had tried to get over you and date Mako but it ended almost as fast as it happened. She hoped that being back at the South Pole would rekindle your friendship and maybe even let it go beyond that if she convinced you to return to Republic City with her.
---
“Korra! Slow down!” Bolin yelled at the avatar as she ran towards your family bakery. Korra just rolled her eyes at Bolin, “C’mon, if you keep up with me, I’ll get you some food. They have the best kale cookies in the world!” Bolin’s eyes lit up at Korra’s proposal and he managed to keep up with her the rest of the way. Both of them ignoring how Mako and Asami rolled their eyes at the two’s childish behavior.
Korra reached the door to the bakery and attempted to enter, being confused when the door wouldn’t budge. “What the...?” Korra muttered as she looked through a window in the building to see that it was empty with chairs put on the tables. Bolin was sad that he wouldn’t be getting any cookies. Korra noticed someone standing across the street and ran over to ask about the bakery. “Excuse me? Excuse me!” “Huh? Oh wow your the avatar!” The kid said as Korra got their attention. “I... Um, yeah. Do you happen to know why the bakery’s closed?” The kid looked around Korra and at the building she was motioning to. “Oh, yeah. The bakery hasn’t been open for almost a month! It sucks too cause they had the best muffins.” The kid said with a frown, causing Korra to frown as well. “A month...” She mumbled to herself, what had she missed while she was away?
Korra tried your house too but you weren’t there. She let her friends go do whatever as she went to Katara to try and find you. “Katara!” Katara looks up from what she was doing and gave Korra a kind smile. “Korra, what can I help you with?” “Do you know where y/n is? Or her mom?” Korra asks hoping Katara knew and not liking it when Katara gained a frown on her face. “You mean y/n never told you? I had just assumed...” “Told me what?” Korra asks, worried at Katara’s reaction. Katara lets out a sigh before responding, “Korra... Y/n’s mother passed away. Y/n hasn’t been the same since. A lot quieter, more reserved...” Katara just trails off, not knowing what to say, while Korra feels like the air got knocked out of her. “What...” Korra says, not really asking, with tears in her eyes. Your mom had been like a second mother to her growing up and hearing that she sick was bad enough but finding out she was dead and that you were dealing with it by yourself, hurt more than she could imagine. Katara pulls the young avatar into a hug trying to comfort her. “Y/n has been gone for almost a month. She told me she would be safe before she left. She didn’t want me to worry.” Katara says, hoping to lessen the worry on Korra.
---
You had left to go to the swamp where the Bayan-grove tree was located. You wanted to go to the spirit world and learn more about magic. You knew that only air benders were supposed to be able to go to the spirit world, but with the new knowledge of magic, you hoped you would be able to as well. So you went to the place most tapped into magic. The tree had grown right over where you read the heart of Etheria was located before all the magic in it got released. You meditated and practiced with the sword everyday, wanting to master using the sword and the other things it could turn into. You hoped that going to the spirit world could connect you with Mara or Adora or anything to help you know that you were the one meant to get the sword, that you were doing what you were supposed to do with the sword, and that you were ready to use it if need be. You weren’t able to enter the spirit until Korra opened the first spirit portal.
---
You spent days in the spirits with a spirit that went by the name of Swift Wind. He was an alicorn that was the previous She-ra’s animal companion, similar to how Aang had Appa and Korra had Naga. You had inquired about when you would be able to get an animal companion but Swift said that it had to happen naturally. You didn’t know how long you had spent in the spirit world but it felt like days before you felt a sudden shift through out the spirit world. “What was that?’ You ask Swift Wind as you felt a sudden disheartening feeling. Swift Wind lifts his horn into the air and you watch as his eyes get big. “Vaatu has escaped.”
(There will be a part 2🙂)

“Tangina naman, ba’t umuulan habang nandyan pa yung araw ha?!” You huffed as you looked up towards the sky, a slow drizzle of raindrops quickly turning into a full-on shower as you ran across the streets of Manila. You didn’t even care that you were jaywalking anymore as you desperately searched for a place to wait out the sudden rain.
Stopping by a small carinderia you sighed and sat down on one of the plastic stools, ordering pancit from the menu so that you could at least offer some patronage in exchange for the shelter. “Malalate na ako…” You grumbled to yourself as you looked down at your watch. Honestly, you should probably just cut your losses and get a taxi but the real question is if you would have enough to afford the pamasahe.
“Ok ka lang ma’am?” A voice asked from beside you as you looked to see a long-haired man in a leather jacket seemingly lounging alongside you. “Not enjoying the rain eh? Naawa na is Bathala saatin at pinabigyan ng libreng shower!” He said with a smile clearly trying to lighten your mood and make you talk to him, but you wouldn’t have it.
“Psh, are you sure the tikbalang isn’t getting married?” You rolled your eyes as you searched through your bag for spare one pesos that may hide.
“Haha! I’m actually late to a wedding right now so maybe they’re sending me a message.” The man laughed lightheartedly at your remark which weirded you out a bit.
“You actually believe that? Kwentong bayan lang ‘yan.” You scoffed, counting the coins in your hand wondering if this would be enough to cover the trip. “Unless sinasabi mo na tikbalang ka din?”
“Secret~” He then turned to look you in the eye, “You heading somewhere? Need a ride?”
His offer surprised you, to say the least, random strangers didn’t just offer free rides especially in a carinderia of all places. “Di ba tinuro ng nanay mo not to ride with strangers?” You chided at him but he only smiled brighter.
“Well you gave me a good laugh, I’m Maliksi if you must know.” He tried to flash you a smile but you continued to stare blankly, “Di ba tinuro ng nanay mo that when someone introduces themselves to you, you should too?” Maliksi seemed to have a mischievous glint in his eyes, almost as if he was challenging you.
“Sige nga, I’m y/n.” You said, Maliksi had you intrigued to say the least.
“Nice to meet you, now that hindi kami strangers so do you want a ride? Libre siya~” He really got you there, you had to admit. Besides every minute wasted means less chance of getting there on time…
“Mabilis kang mag-drive?” You asked deadpan as you stared at him, and at this point even his eyes seemed to smile.
“Oo naman señora!” He said this with a sense of pride as he offered his hand to you, you got up without it. “Ah, ganon ka, strong independent type. I like it.
He took your hand as he leads you to his car, and you had to admit, with the rain and the light refracting around him he actually looked quite... Handsome. Not that you would ever tell him that of course.
Settled into the passenger seat of the black car, you couldn’t help but wonder what kind of guy Maliksi was. Surely naman a regular person wouldn’t have such a nice car or any car for a matter-of-fact. “Where to y/n?” He asked as he revved up the engine.
“SM.” You replied shortly, “How long will this take? I need to be there in 15 minutes.”
“Then 15 minutes it is.” He smiled dismissively, “Once I drop you off I might as well head to that wedding too.”
“Have fun with the tikbalang.” You smiled and he laughed.
“Trust me, after this, I definitely have a story for them.” The car peeled onto the main road and for once Maliksi paused to look at your face.
“Ano?”
“Wala this is the first time you smiled eh, ang cute mo pala” He chuckled, “Now remember to buckle your seatbelt, ayaw nating madisgrasya~”
It took 10 minutes for him to get you there, but not without a promise to see you again and a small paper slip with his phone number on it. ‘In case you ever need a quick ride again.’ That is what he had said. Try to deny it all you want but you were pretty excited to see him again.

__________
Sabi nila, isa kang mangkukulam.
Sukuna.
Sa puntong 'to, hindi na ito pagkakataon. Naging lima ang dalawa. Naging sampu.
"Ano bang gusto mo, Sukuna?"
"Potensiyal? Anong potensyal?"
Laging may nasisira. Laging may nadudurog. Laging may nasusunog.
Malakas. Makapanyarihan.

"On dakika, otuz yedi saniye önce. Neden?"
Yūji, her şeyin farkındaydı.

Tumblr media
“Ijo, ikaw ba’y may dinadamdam?”

“Ugali kon ikaw hidlawon.
