[Day 30]: TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL-

(Whenever i export animations, procreate sometimes messes up the colors a bit? It looks fine on my ipad, but the animation is desaturated on my phone, so here's what it should look like:)

Anyways, i thought it would be funny to draw Joel summoning Effo, inspired by Grian & Scar summoning mumbo during season 8. It turned out even sillier than i thought it would and i absolutely love it wkdhwjd

Also wanted to show off the sketch since it shows off the movement a lot better! I did end up changing a LOT (and even ended up adding some frames where i did lineart w/o a sketch inbetween... Oop-) but u can still kind of see the drag and offset?

So basically: since the tail isn't a stiff object like... A table or sth, it has multiple 'joints' (<-don't remember the proper term for it). Now, if u animated the tail just moving back and forth it would look v v stiff and wierd, since irl the tip of the tail would be "dragged along" with the bottom (<-aka the ACTUAL joint that the movement originates from). To create a more organic and realistic movement, you need to slightly delay the other parts of the tail. I usually use those lil circles to sketch this out at first, since its a lot easier to do without having to worry about shape and perspective and such.

(in theory i know wayyy too much about animation, but in practice im still struggling to do it bc i don't have much experience animating ekfhakdj- i do know the theory p well, which is why im hoping his lil explanation might help someone! Let me know if u guys want me to include some art theory lessons more often :D)

can I ask for some tips or like advice??

So uhh I've recently discovered that I wanna draw too but ya know post things so I can share with others but uhh idk how to start like posting things like 😭 and u might as, how or who motivates me well YOUR ONE OF THEM (it's so many artists that I inspired 😌🫶🏻) it's just when I see many artist I just like wanna show mine in Twitter(X) btw but I'm afraid no one will even like LMAO no one follows me and idk how to start posting😢😅 need some advice from artists, and also I wanna show u my drawing of u but maybe after this bc I draw u in a sheep and human form😌 cuz I recently found out u I find many sheeps in ur blog🥰🥰

This is my personal experience,but here are some tips i learnt(or realized).

Draw fandom's favorite characters

Yes,even the most common one getting fanarts

When you starting, you can accept request, eventhough nobody reply it gives the idea that you are open to interaction for people

And if people reply,you can notice the pattern of characters the fandom likes.

If you wanna post your OC, you can try drawing them with a canon character to 'boost' your art.

Funny/meme art, usually people like that, lol .

It's okay to be a niche artist (an artist who draw certain rare otp or such) , however based on my observation and experience, do this after you gather quite the following.

DRAW.PEOPLE'S.FAVORITE. 😭😭 (because most of the time a post of certain character getting more interact than the other)

Lastly, enjoy! Treat the platform as your album. Please do not stress yourself over count of followers, yes it could be discouraging, but i hope art doesn't be a chores for you. I want people and artist to enjoy art. So go with your own pace :D

He just likes touching his own hair tbh, so he gets it soft for himself, so if you do get a rare chance to touch his hair, you bet it's like chinchilla silk fluff or something like makes you wanna touch it even more just slips and melts in your fingers

Its not visible in these pictures but there’s also an infinity sign with blue flowers on one shoulder to be a stylized metis flag! I’m gonna put the neurodiversity symbol on the other shoulder bc they’re both infinity signs so it’d be cool :) on one of the front pockets I have the mlm sign with beads but the way my jacket folds hides it so I’m going to re-do it somewhere else
