Identity reveal shazamily fic idea:

They're fighting some big bad in a huge cave or throne room or in an air pocket miles underwater (the Rock?) and the league and shazamily are all there, every two stuck in separate areas (magic barriers? Cave ins? Enemies simply not letting them close?).

The roof is starting to collapse. Billy catches it, but with his powers divided, he's struggling. With a time limit before he falls, the battle intensifies.

Mary and her jl partner fells her opponent first, and looks across the room just in time to see him stagger under the crushing weight. She cannot reach him (in time?). They meet each others eyes. The wisdom of Solomon, or perhaps Mary batson, has an idea.

In a crash of thunder, she detransforms, in front of their enemies, and the entire justice league.

With power returned, captain marvel stands a bit straighter. The roof grows heavier. Cracks scatter across the high ceiling.

As Mary is carried to safety, the family understands what they must do.

In conjunction with the league member they were trapped with, they work to defeat their opponents, and one by one transform, each time revealing people too small, too young. The crash of thunder marks each victory. Rubble starts to fall and shake the earth as the league members pull their partners to safety, gathering together by the entrance, bandaging their wounds. All eyes are on Marvel, trapped under a great pillar of stone. (They have been working with him for years now, but each of his family has been revealed to be children. Is he, too?) Each time he raises the ceiling a little higher, and each time it grows heavier as the battles and the ticking clock destabilise the thousands of tons above.

At last, the final group win, and exhausted league members piggy back the last child hero over the rubble.

All are evacuated, but Marvel cannot move. Rapid power transfer and hours of stress have taken their toll, and he needs to transform back as well.

Finally, finally, green lantern and superman reach him, and with their help he is freed, collapsing to the side in relief. No one says a word.

With one final lightning strike, the last member of the team is revealed.

He's twelve years old.

And the league needs to take them all to safety.

Chapter 12 of A Mind Of His Own is up! This update features some long awaited trans bonding between Billy and Hal!

Shazam: Fury of the Gods is obviously about Billy and his journey as a hero and he's the main character or whatever but more importantly the movie is 100% centered around Freddy.

It's about Freddy's self-worth and struggles with being a hero and with how Billy acts about the hero thing(because neither of them understand the underlying reasons that they make the decisions they do) and it's about how unbelievably strong Freddy is and how he doesn't think he is strong even while he is doing things no one else can.

Freddy is constantly doing things that should not be possible for a person to do and he does them anyway but he doesn't think it's enough. It's not fixing everything so it's not enough and all he can focus on is what he can't do.

Even the final act which is very very centered on Billy is about how Freddy can't do anything about this whole situation. Where he is actively pulling off incredible feats but he isn't saving anyone so what good is this.

In conclusion: I am very normal about this movie

Say what you will about SHAZAM! Family, but I absolutely love Rosa, Victor, Jeff (I mean Freddy,) Darla, Eugene, Pedro, Mary, and Billy.

If anyone cares about my opinion on SHAZAM! Fury of The God's, it was really good, very heartfelt, and oh my gosh- ridiculous.

Freddy: I am the only one in this relationship with a brain cell. Billy: When I fully introduced you to Diana, you high pitched screamed and than fainted. Freddy blushing: It's Wonder Woman man! Who wouldn't do that in her presence! Billy: You believed me when I told you Superman and Lex Luther are exs that share custody of Kon. Freddy: What normal person makes a clone of their enemy mixed with their own dna and than rases it as their kid?! Plus have you seen their sexual tension! the best thing about mary having a good deed ledger and freddy owning a daily adventure log journal is that billy could walk in a room and those two are silently writing at the table or something and he’ll just sit there and watch until they’re done like a puppy waiting to be fed. and even though he looks at them like •_• it’s ok that’s just how he stares. the other two aren’t even feeling pressured to hurry

Last Day Of Pride Post (Billy and Cissie Edition) 💖

No thoughts head empty but I am vibing with the idea of T4T Cissie asking Billy out to her school's Sadie Hawkins dance.

I think about this cute dance date as being in the beginning of their relationship and the first real date where Cissie is the one who makes the first move. Billy had been having a crush on Cissie since the moment he met her at the Whiz Radio station, thinking she was the prettiest girl in the world, so when he finds out that Cissie feels the same way that he does, the kid is jumping for joy :D

At the same time, he's like so nervous and shy though, because this is his first date ever! Of course he needs help getting ready! So, queue Billy going around asking everyone he can for advice on romance and dances.

Billy goes to Freddy to break the news and celebrate with chocolate egg creams.

He shly asks his twin sister Mary for help picking out which flowers to get for Cissie.

He smiles when he finds out Scott was also asked out by a girl at Cissie's school to the dance, relieved he won't be alone.

He studies a book of pick up lines that Sunny Sparkle gave (and promptly gave back because it was stolen).

He gets embarrassed when Mr. Bromfield helps him pick out a nice suit and tie while hearing his adopted father's dating stories from back in the day.

He laughs when Uncle Dudley tries to teach him how to dance with moves from decades ago.

He takes notes when Joane Jameson, his coworker at Whiz Radio, gives him polite advice on first dances.

He rolls his eyes when the wizard says he should be focusing on other important matters, but is grateful for the magic flower he's given for the corsage.

He groans when Tawky Tawny helps teach him the right elegant manners to use when on a date, Billy feels like he enrolled in a finishing school.

He asks for Solomon to give him the wisdom he needs to not embarrass Cissie.

He prays for Hercules to give him strength to be the best boyfriend he can be.

He begs Atlas to give him the stamina to dance every dance with Cissie.

He tells Zeus to mind his business 👋

He wishes for Achilles to grant him some courage to hold Cissie's hand.

He requests for Mercury to allow him the speed to help him get to the dance on time, not a minute or second late, to not keep Cissie waiting.

In the end, at the Sadie Hawkins dance, Billy and Cissie spend their first date holding hands and dancing along to bad music chosen by the chaperones and sponsor (Mr. Morris).

Billy calls Cissie beautiful. Cissie calls him handsome. Neither of them can take a compliment and go back and forth saying the other looks better.

Cissie is wearing an adorable pink and fluffy dress, wearing the flowers Billy got for her in her hair. Billy is wearing his first suit ever, and is so proud of it (although he hates the tie). They goof off and laugh at their awkwardness, smile at how good they both look in their suit and dress respectively, blush at the comments Scott makes about them being a good couple, and ultimately, know this was the best first date they could hope for.

The dance ends for everyone else at the end of the evening, but for Billy, his heart continues to dance for Cissie.
