This is for everyone who needs to listen to this, but especially the bisexual* people in fandoms of queer artists or characters.

You are valid.

You are valid.

You are not stupid for spotting or suspecting bisexuality* on people or characters who are not straight, You are not any less queer for doing so.

As a baby bi I made this mistake: It's better not to engage with people who won't change their minds. THAT BEING SAID, if you do, be equipped with the tools of education, self-care and double wit.

Identifying a character as bisexual* does not cheapen their queerness or yours.

You don't need a list of dating to verify your attractions.

You are amazing

You are valid.

Hey friends! For Bisexual Awareness Week, I - as your friendly neighbourhood disaster bisexual actor and filmmaker - am crowdfunding to support the creation of FOUR women-led original short films!

💗💜💙

We shot the first of the four films, The Sweetest Goodbye in May 2022. That's our lovely cast and crew photo up above!

As of now, in the short term we still need to raise 15K at minimum to cover our post-production and distribution costs, in order to get this film finished and out into the world! Then, we'll be moving on to raising funds for the other three films.

Support and donations of any size are deeply appreciated. I work hard to make sure my cast and crew are fed well, treated well, work hours that are sustainable, and are paid a minimum wage - at the very least. And honestly, this ethos of community care is not something that you see a lot of indie filmmakers doing... many indie sets only offer unpaid work, don't remember to feed people, and/or are incredibly toxic work environments with long work hours and large egos.

Long story short? I'm doing something way better than that, making awesome art while also taking care of others, AND I'm looking for backers who are smart and forward-thinking and who share these values.

If you believe in creating a healthier, more sustainable, and more authentically inclusive film industry - while also helping us create amazing queer women-led content - then come celebrate that double-win, donate what you can, and help me create that better film future. For all of us.
