WAIT THEY TOLD ME THE EPISODE TITLE WAS CONFESSION NOT CONFESSIONS 😭 Luke confessing to Natsuko every time he saw her today was sooo cute he is so in love with her and whipped I love it.

My haters to lovers ship has sailed, but I swear they better not tear them apart, MAPPA please.. part of me is afraid this is gonna be a learning experience for Natsuko and she’ll wake up back in the real world having finally known her first love, now able to move forward and live in the moment/accept others. The director’s words were just very ominous to me.

Seeing Luke so flustered was sooo cute though. Poor Umio been waiting their entire life to make his move and then Natsuko shows up out of nowhere and makes Luke fall instantly 😭 I do feel for him, but I mean look at her! How can you blame Luke

“People died” and it’s just your faves on their first date. That hot spring trip was sooo cute. I love how Luke was tired of Natsuko dodging the confession and wasn’t gonna take being ignored for an answer anymore lol. And even when the void shows up he’s more upset that it ruined their date than anything else.

Ahhhh that ending, she let out a “squee” she’s so in love!! And anitrendz expects me to believe there’s 10 ships better than this this season lol. Great episode

“Sorry.”, Bruce said as he dabbed a particularly deep cut, you dug your nails into Bucky’s hand, the burning feeling in your feet sending shivers through you. 

Once your wounds had been cleaned sufficiently Bruce reached to his side towards a roll of bandage. 

“Hold off on that right now Bruce.”, Bucky said, “Y/N do you want to go get cleaned up before he wraps your feet? You can use my shower and I can give you some clothes to wear.”

You stared at Bucky, caught off guard slightly, and your face flushed bright red. 

“Yeah-h that works.”, you choked out, feeling overwhelmingly flustered.

“While you’re showering I’m going to be in here with Bruce. I don’t want you coming in here, I’ll come and get you when we are done. You’ve already had a really long night, and I don’t think seeing Bruce perform minor surgery on my arm is going to do you any good .”

Just the thought of watching a bullet being dug out of his shoulder made your stomach roll. 

“Probably a good idea.”, you chuckled. 

Bruce stood up, cleaning up his work area and getting everything prepped for Bucky. You followed, your feet aching. 

“I am allowed to walk around, right?”, you asked Bruce.

“Yes you can, I would recommend you try to walk as little as possible for a few days though.”

“Oh okay.”, you frowned slightly.

“It’ll be okay sweetheart, come on let’s go.”

Bucky smiled and took your hand, having you follow him back out into the hallway and up the stairs to the second level. Entering his bedroom you were amazed with how big it was. 

A large king sized bed with all black bedding sat up against one of the walls, there were several bookshelves around the perimeter of the room, and a small fireplace was in the corner, a velvet green couch placed in front of it.

Releasing your hand for the moment Bucky walked into his closet, returning with a green crewneck and grey sweats.

“I know these might be big on you but figured it would be comfortable.”, he smiled down at you.

“Thank you.”, you blushed, averting your gaze, the thought of wearing his clothes made you feel giddy. 

He handed the outfit to you before he walked through another set of doors into the bathroom, you following behind him. Bucky reached into the small closet next to the double vanity sink, pulling out a towel.

“Here’s this for you,” he said handing it to you, “Also feel free to use anything you want to.”

“Thank you.”

“No problem sweetheart, I’m going to go ahead and head back-”

You cut him off, blurting out, “Are you going to be okay?”

Bucky saw the nervousness in your eyes, he internally smiled, happy with the thought that you were worried about him. 

“Of course I am. Bruce has worked with me for years, I trust him with my life, and besides this isn’t the worst injury I’ve ever got.”, he nonchalantly said, immediately regretting the words leaving his mouth. 

You both stared at each other for a moment. Bucky’s brain was overwhelmed with the realization that sooner rather than later he was going to have to explain everything to you, and as soon as he did that he was afraid you would flee, wanting nothing to do with him ever again. He wouldn’t blame you for that, you were in his eyes the personification of innocence, and he was one royally messed up guy.

“What’s wrong?”, you asked him.

He looked sick, skin pale, and he had an expression of sadness plastered on his face.

“It’s nothing, you need to worry about right now doll. We can talk about it after I get back, I did promise you we would talk about everything tonight after all.”

You nodded, “Okay.”

He reached out and squeezed your hand.

“I’ll be back as soon as I can, you can hangout in my room until I get back, if you want to.”

With that he made his leave, closing the bathroom doors behind him. You sat the clothes and towel down on the counter and moved towards the massive walk-in shower. Stripping off your ruined dress, you stepped into the shower and began fiddling with the knobs. Water poured onto you from the showerhead above you.

The warm water rushed down your body, soothing your stressed muscles. You looked at the shelving on the wall noticing several different options of soaps and shampoos. 

Reaching for one of the bottles, you picked up some coconut scented shampoo. Lathering your hands with the soap you ran your fingers through your hair, washing out the dirt and other forest foliage that had become tangled into your strands. After you rinsed out your hair, you grabbed a matching scent of body wash, scrubbing the grime from your body. 

You stood under the running water for several minutes after you had finished washing yourself, enjoying the comfort the warmth brought you, and the sound of the shower splashing onto the tiles. As your fingers started to prune you figured you’d been in there long enough. You turned off the water, and moved to get your towel. 

You dried your body and hair before slipping on Bucky's clothes, which were in fact big on you, due to the fact the man was practically double your size. Picking up your used towel off the floor you refolded it and set it over the edge of the bathtub, also doing the same with your dress. 

Walking out of the bathroom and back into Bucky’s room you looked at one of his nightstands, seeing the alarm clock that sat on it read ten thirty. 

‘Shit’, you thought.

You hadn’t talked to Nat in over three hours, she was probably going to think you had been murdered at this point. Hesitantly you looked towards the bedroom doors, remembering Bucky had said to stay in his room until he was done. Wrestling back and forth on what to do, you decided on going downstairs to try and find your phone, he had just said to not go back into the office so it wasn’t like you were doing anything wrong. 

You slowly eased down the stairs, your feet hurting still. As you stepped onto the first floor, you looked towards the living room, seeing Steve sitting on the large couch. You wobbled over to the furniture, plopping yourself down on it. 

“Can you do me a favor?”, you asked him. 

Steve looked caught off guard at the fact you were talking to him. 

“Uh, it depends.”

“Can you help me find my phone? I don’t know where it is.”

“It’s in Bucky’s office.”

‘Shit’, you thought.

“Okay well could you go get it for me? Please. I’m not allowed in there right now according to Bucky.”

“Yeah no problem.”, he said as he stood and headed down the hallway towards the office.

Steve pushed open the doors to the office space. Bucky laid on his back, Bruce hovering over him, silver tools in his gloved hands. 

“It going okay so far?”, Steve asked.

“Yeah almost got it out, just have to stitch him up after.”, Bruce said as he shifted the tools, Bucky letting out an agonized groan. 

Steve nodded and walked to Bucky’s desk, picking up your phone and heading back to the living room.

“Here.”, he said as he lightly tossed it to you and sat down.

You caught your phone immediately turning the screen on.

WIFEY 6 MISSED CALLS

You rushed to unlock your phone, dialing Nat back.

“Y/N?!”, she said as she answered the call.

“Nat, I’m so sorry I-”

She cut you off, “Dude what the fuck I thought you’d been kidnapped or murdered, I was seriously debating on calling the cops.”

You knew Nat was extremely overprotective of you and wasn’t bluffing.

“You don’t need to call the cops Nat, I’m completely fine.”

Steve stiffened on the couch, immediately shooting you a look.

“What are you even doing right now?”, she asked.

“I’m at his house.”

“Shit I’m being a cockblock right now okay by Y/N, use protection.”, and with that Nat hung up the phone. 

Pulling your phone from your ear, noticing Steve looking at you weirdly.

“So what was that about the police?”, he asked.

“Oh nothing, my roommate thought Bucky had kidnapped me or something and was saying she almost called them.”, you shrugged.

Steve relaxed at that, turning his attention back to his own phone

“Ah okay.”

The two of you sat on the couch in silence, you scrolling through your social media feed. Footsteps echoed from down the hall, Bucky emerging from it. He was shirtless, bandages wrapped around his chest and shoulder. Your eyes quickly glanced up and down his torso. Seeing you do this Bucky smirked, enjoying the blush that blossomed across your face.

“I’m going to change and I’ll be right back sweetheart.”

“Okay!”, you said, staring after him, admiring his muscular back from behind as he walked upstairs. 

A few minutes later Bucky reappeared, wearing a coffee colored hoodie, plaid pajama pants, and a pair of slippers. In his hands he held another pair of slippers.

“I figured you’d want something soft to wear after Bruce bandages your feet.”

The next several minutes went by quickly. You and Bucky made your way back to the library, Brue wrapping your feet. After that you made your way into the kitchen, following after Bucky. You leaned up against the counter as Bucky made the two of you hot chocolate. 

“Let’s go sit outside to talk.”, he said, handing you your mug.

The two of you made your way outside, down some steps, and over to a firepit surrounded by plush patio furniture. You sat in the chair beside the one Bucky had chosen for himself. You could tell he was nervous as he sipped his drink, his eyes staring into the fire. 

“Bucky?”

He turned his attention to you.

“Sorry.”, he said as he took another sip, “I just don’t know how to word what I want to tell you.”

“Just tell me, you don’t have to sugar coat anything, just be honest.”, you reached out and squeezed his hand. 

Staring into your eyes, he took a deep breath.

“Y/N.”, he started, “I am the head of the Barnes Family, the largest mafia organization in this city.”

Hello Incredible Fandom and amazing readers! :) Holy fanfic fever dream on this one. Week after week I see why this season was in full lockdown. Like Eric it's rapidly becoming my fav. The giving season continues on with this ep. It's really fun to see them have fun. Especially after s6 and all the trauma. A day of them sneaking around and having sex whenever they can with a deadline? Sign me up. Straight fever dream content and I'm here for it. This one had me cackling and squeeing.

I was in shock in the best way. Writers be killing it with them this year. No complaints from me. Like at all. Haven't felt this consistently giddy since s5. Each ep is a glorious salve to my shipper heart that was so very damaged in s6. Another all around good episode as well. They're crushing that this season and then some. Having the show as a whole plus them be incredible? Quite happy. Also hoped everyone enjoyed Melissa's Social Media take over. She had so many goodies. I was in heaven. I'll take BTS all damn day. Let us dive into this fantastic ep.

7x12 April fools

I wasn’t expecting this as the cold open I will say. But I had zero idea of the premise of this one. So now that I know the ep in full it honestly makes sense. Like most things this season I am in the dark. Happy to be honestly. I'm a spoiler free square. It creates excitement like this for me every time we get a moment. I thought this would be an end-of-the-episode moment, but I'm very ecstatic that was the first of many moments for them. I'm always happy when they open the show. Just wasn’t expecting this in the least. Happily surprised. The giving season continues to give. And give it does. Holy hell.

Lucy is absolutely shameless in how she checks Tim out when he opens that door. I mean I can’t blame her. Man is looking fine and FIT. Don't blame her for wanting to climb him like a tree and wear out his branches. Those sweatpants are riding just low enough….We get to see that glorious chest of his and toned stomach. *fans self* I don’t blame her for wanting a piece. Something changed for her after that shop convo last ep. Unlocked something. I mean Lucy is just showing up for a booty call from Tim. A booty call and then some as we get to see as this episode unfurls.

Lucy doesn't even say hi back. Just launches into her plan to have him. She clearly isn’t ready for them to be back together yet. That much has been proven over the course of the season. But clearly is missing the physical aspect of their relationship. Hence this rouse of 'April Fools hall pass.' How long did she think of this idea? She is rambling but prepared af. Kudos to her for having the balls to just come here and get what she wants. Tim tries to combat her plan that A.F. is tomorrow not now. Lucy came prepped and she shoots it down immediately saying it's 12:01. So it is tomorrow. Now. Woman wants her some Tim Bradford so she is getting her some Tim Bradford.

'If anyone raises a flag.' Heh that was a given lets be honest. Telling Tim that if they get caught at any point (That was coming like a freight train cause they're terrible at being subtle.) They can claim "April Fools." Everyone can laugh and they get away with having a sex-filled day with no one being the wiser. I love him cutting of the continuance of her plan. She is in the middle of her sentence when he cuts her off with his lips. They move backwards in-sync of course. I love this shot of her hands on his hips kissing him. Pushing him back into his own house. Tim isn't fighting her in the least. He is more than happy to oblige but is very confused where this is coming from.

I will say my first thought was, is she just gonna come over whenever she wants him? Because if that’s the case she’s gonna be over a lot. heh. I didn't realize it would be the whole day at first. I love that she checks him out a second time after her final rant explaining her plan to get him into bed. I can't say I don't love horny Lucy. This is great. She is Thirsty af for Tim in this moment. Parched really. She is this entire ep. Tim isn’t going to fight having her in his bed but he is quite confused. He's getting lost in the details of it all and you can see Lucy becoming impatient LOL Like 'Uh huh. uh huh...' She just wants to get this man in bed already. Doesn't need him to be bogged down with pesky details of what this is or isn't.

Who knew Tim would be the talker? Not me. Lucy is indulging him at first. Nodding her head as he rambles on himself. Trying to process this whole thing. Melissa is crushing it with her expressions. She eventually cuts off his rambles. Slams that door forcefully getting his mind back on track. Wanting his pants off now. Hot damn. Also must say she must want him something fierce. To come over at exactly at 12:01, with this ludicrous excuse of a hall pass. They messy....And I wasn't sure I wanted messy but if this is how it's going to be. I am on board. Also we are getting our season's worth out of using his place. I love it. What a cold open. Half naked Tim, Lucy coming to seduce him, we're at his place and sexy times? I'm a happy girl.

Tim looks SOOO nervous about this 'prank.' What have you done to him Lucy Chen? LMAO I love it. I knew once I saw this moment we were in for a wild ride. One I was very happy to be on. Tim asking how this is going to go? The slight touching of his hand with her finger. Brazen. How can such a small touch send me spinning? I'm losing my damn mind over here.

'Just sitting closer than we normally are.' You're practically on top of each other. But what else is new honestly? Look at the ZERO space between them. ZERO. The skin to skin contact has me delirious. Look at how close they are when they're speaking. Like they're in their own world. Everyone else around them is just outside noise, that happens to be there. They're being as subtle as an avalanche right now. Do they really think they're good at being discreet?

For two highly skilled people who are amazing at their jobs, they're so clearly bad at this. Makes my heart so happy it's doing flips though. Haven't felt this giddy and squee-like since 5x10 when they were bombing the art of subtlety after their first date. Celina catches it instantly... Cause you two are broadcasting loudly without even knowing it. Her face is everything. Well done Lis. You crushing it with the expression. She's is the fandom in this moment. We are her.

Then there is Nolan. Being as perceptive as a rock when it comes to all this. Too wrapped up in his own shit to notice the fiery foreplay between these two. They even turn his problem into more flirty banter. To the point where Nolan just tunes out and they're back in their own world.

Lucy listing all the things he hates with a shit eating grin on her face. Be more in love with him Lucy I dare you. She is extra sunshine after a night with Tim. my god. Legit beaming. Not that I blame her... But she is all but shouting from the roof tops they had a good night together. She is so into him it's insane. Hopefully Tim can see what she is clearly throwing down at him.

If you watch closely they bump shoulders in the far shot. Tim rocks into her with flirty intentions. She is all smiles when he does. Look at them. Eric and Melissa are a god damn treasure Fandom. To do such small things that makes us lose our minds. We are blessed they are the captains of this fantastic ship. They’ve been obvious before but sweet lord. They're projecting it far and wide in roll call. I was ship high af at this point. And there is more to come.

Celina wastes no time trying to crack Lucy. Saying she’s glowing. LOL I mean….She is and has been since roll call and most likely long before that…. You’re as transparent as Tim is this season my girl. Celina coming right out and saying it. That she had sex. Lucy does a poor job of defending herself. Fighting Celina on it because well... No one can know.

Especially not this early in the day. It'll ruin all the naughty plans she has for them today. So instead of giving in she says she just feels extra sparkly. No honey, you had a very good night of hot sex with the love of your life. It’s exuding out of you. No doubt in my mind they went a few rounds before morning came.

Celina doesn’t let it drop and God bless her for it. Her face has me rolling so hard. We love you Celina haha Saying she saw her touch Tim’s hand. Yeah not as slick as you guys thought.....Subtle as a hammer per usual. Lucy trying to brush it off with a joke LOL 'Is that how you think sex works?'' I'm dying. lmao

Celina offers to be her Fort Knox of secrets but Lucy cant risk it. Lucy is clearly dying to talk and doesn’t. Holds strong against it. Stating ‘Nothing is going on.....’ Mmmhmm…As believable as your former rookie....Celina isn't buying what you're selling.

She is most definitely not ready to talk about it let alone dig deeper. What I do know is this is messy af. Delightfully so but definitely messy. Sleeping with him won’t un-muddy those already muddled thoughts and feelings you're having my dear. It's only going to increase them ten fold...

When it cut to giggling behind a closed door I about lost my mind. I was thinking 'I’m sorry are they’re making out in middle of the day at work and giggling? What is this glorious wonderland?' Also it was very hard to move past this scene to the rest of the episode. I wanted to live here and never leave. Look at how wrapped up they are in each other. Holy hell. Giving me 5x12 vibes. It is all hands hand hands. Is this real life? I felt like I was dreaming this was happening. His hands going for her hair and stopping himself. Moving down to her hips instead. Lucy isn't timid about being all over Tim either. She is HOT for this man and I am here for it. She was dying of thirst and this man was the only drinking source she needed. There's that song from Bruno Mars. 'Die with a smile.'

That's Lucy in this moment. If world was ending she wanted to die with a smile on her face being with him. Ain't nothing pulling her from this man. Look at her hands at the back of his head, and then on his face, as she goes in for a second kiss after Tim breaks off. Can't get enough of him. She is hungry for this man and I'm having to fan myself. Like two teenagers in love all hot and heavy. This is what people wanted to see in s5 when they were in hiding. Well we got it folks. Just a couple seasons later. I am deliriously happy. Seriously this season slowly repairing my battered shipper heart. I love how Tim keeps bringing up when they were together.

Or how they’re not together right now. Man has relationships on his mind. I love it. Tim being floored by her eager ferocity with him at work has me reeling. Saying how even when they were together they didn't do this. Lucy mentioning they didn't have a deadline of midnight before....I think she gave herself this deadline because, clearly, she wouldn't be able to stop if she didn't. There would be no way she could let him go if this wasn't enforced. She NEEDED to have an emotional boundary set.

It shows she isn't ready for reconciliation yet but is ok dipping her toe back in this way. You know she misses the physical connection they had. The writers made it crystal clear they had a very active sex life. (thank you writers for this btw) Of course she misses that side of it. She legit can't help herself. Moth to a damn flame. This is why she had them wait back in s5. She knew once they started they could not stop.

When she said 'Do you think it’s been long enough?' I thought 'Did they have an afternoon delight? And they are now passing the time to come back out by making out? Am I in a dream? Is this some crazy fanfic fever dream? ' I had to keep asking myself this. Also to pinch myself that Tim was just as damn eager to do this at work as her. Tim follow the rules Bradford enjoying carnal delights at work. Rules be damned if he gets to be with his girl. Definitely ok meeting her where she is at on this one. heh But for real Tim wanting to hookup at work on duty? Phew lord. The growth is crazy to witness I have to say. In the best way of course.

I adore Tim trying to extend their time together. Replying they could take a little more time....It's the cutest thing ever. My heart. Doesn't want to waste a second of this hall pass with her. Honestly he probably thought 7x06 was going to be it for a long time. So did I. But then the giving season gave me an episode of secret hook ups and flirting. *screams into a pillow* God I love this season you guys. I'm feeling very spoiled with this one. Lucy doesn't fight Tim's suggestion to stay longer. Is more than happy to dive back into making out some more. Look at her smile when he comes right back in for more kisses.

She is floating on air. As am I. *happy sigh* There's a great line from HIMYM. It's when Barney gets two bags of gummy bears for a buck, from the vending machine. 'It's Like, I don't even care what happens for the rest of the day.' That's Lucy in this moment. She is blissed out to the max. Doesn't matter what happens today. Her mood won't be ruined. Forever adore how handsy these two are when they kiss. Lucy has hers planted on his jaw. Tim's joining her face soon after. Resting on her shoulder because it doesn't make the whole journey. Lucy cutting him off. Saying they should get back to work....Doesn't seem like that's what you really wanna do though Luce lol

Lucy coming up with terrible reasons to get back to work. Like 'Things.' Her brain is so blissed out she can't even come up with proper terms haha This makes me so friggin happy. Lucy rights her ship just a bit and says 'crime'. Tim has zero interest in stopping crime atm....He begrudgingly lets her go and says if she insists....Following her lead just as he's done all season long. Lucy being cute and sassy af replying 'I do. I do insist.' I am heady off the cocktail that is our ship right now. Ship drunk and flying high myself. I love how he leans in before she leaves, and Lucy sweetly obliges with a quick kiss before they part.

Both smiling like the idiots in love they are as she does. It's the little things that always get me with these two. Always. Tim noticing she isn't public ready and tells her to fix her shirt. He tries to stop her but fails.. Her shirt being askew all but confirms they had work sex IMO. Not only that but never really straightened up from it. Holy crap… They messy in more ways than one. I love that out of the two of them she’s being the messy one right now. The more impulsive one. The one who isn't noticing her shit isn't squared away like she normally would. Her brain is flying sky HIGH on dopamine and sexy times that she isn't thinking straight.

The captain of her brain ship is drunk at the wheel and she is mighty fine with it. Horny for Tim Lucy is one I wouldn't mind revisiting again. Sweet lord. Of course it’s Celina who catches them. Her expressions are primo. I had 'Celina catches Chenford in the act.' on my bingo card. This isn’t what I pictured but nothing about this season is lol Curse my specificity though cause I said it would be at Lucy's. So I can only half cross it off. Maybe later this season? Could we possibly be so fortunate? Idk I might be getting greedy with that ha She doesn’t let them get off easy though as she shouldn’t. Tim saying ‘Ladies…’ hahaha my god he’s cute. I love him so much. *dreamy sigh*

We get one of my favorites as you all know. Field Chenford. They have chemistry to everything they do. The field is no exception. It's charged with it. It's when they are most in sync and share the same mindset. Well oiled machine in action. I just love it sfm. Now I love me some Field Tim as well. Mmmm. Why Metro Tim was so utterly attractive to me. Was Field Tim but even better cause he was running a whole team. Commanding things.

What I love so much is he's just so in control of everything and sure of himself. Dripping with confidence in what he's doing. I can never get enough of it. Also something about Lucy saying he will protect Livy did things to me. Things I can't properly write out but I was fanning myself. Clearly I find a man who can protect me very attractive. Mmm. Feral Caitlin was mighty pleased a couple times in this ep.

I LOVE Lucy having moment of hesitancy wanting to save Tim instead of Livy. Her gut reaction is to go to him. To protect her person at all costs especially in the field. She almost chooses him. Tim see's this and has to tell her to save Livy instead. *heart clutch* The trust between these two professionally is out of this world. After he tells her to go she just trusts he will be ok and will handle himself. That he's got this. That it's ok to leave him and go after her. Tim dispatches his guy shortly after.

Clearly someone told on them with Grey calling them out in the bullpen to his office. I mean it's not really that shocking they were caught by someone other than Celina.... As subtle as a car alarm screaming out their 'prank.' repeatedly. Good thing pre-laid Lucy thought of this April Fools plan. Because post-sex Lucy's brain was shot LOL She was smart to have it in their back pocket if they were found out. To use it as an April fools joke to get their asses out of trouble. Which is exactly what she does.

Grey was pissssed though. His anger echoed through out that room. I felt it in my recliner lol .Good god she better get that promotion. That man was none too pleased with this development of their's. Once she comes down from her Tim sex-athon high she best get on studying for that for real. They are real cute with their smug smiles I will say. It's why Grey wants to rid them of it below.

Wade pranking them nearly killed me. I was low key thinking this was real. He acted a little too well. I'm with Lucy he scared me half to death for a moment though. His laughter always makes me happy though. It's so booming and joyful. You'd have to be dead inside not to enjoy it. Tim is none too pleased with this tactic.

Lucy looking every bit the bombshell as they step out of his office. Wearing the same outfit as the cold open. Proving she spent the entire night with him and had no time to change out at home. This thought makes me very happy. Also she is cool as a cucumber as they leave. Her plan unfolding exactly how she wanted it to. Not shaken in the least they almost got caught.

Man, constant secret sex with Tim is making her chill and decisive af LOL She knows down to the minute what time they have left. She is single-minded, as they all but race out of the station to get to his house and have one more round before this 'deadline' of theirs. Like they are legit racing. I’m surprised the camera could keep up with their in-sync lock step speed to have one more round.

Holy cow that woman wants her some Tim Bradford and vice versa. Tim is hot on her heels as they make their way out. Ready to be with his girl one more time before this deadline expires. He has so much pent up excitement he could pick her up and run them to his place easily. Especially after Lucy suggests they speed to get to their carnal destination faster. Can only imagine the explosion once they arrive there. Destroyed clothes and furniture would be my guess. This ep was extremely good to us. Sweet baby james....

Celina can't help but poke the bear as they all but run out of the station. Asking where they're going? Knowing damn well where they are going. They don't give her the time of day. Tim is already locked and loaded. He has nothing to say and let's Lucy dispatch of Celina. The wonderful thing is if Celina were to find out. She would keep their secret and be a wonderful confidante to Lucy. She is the Aaron of this situation on Chenford round 2 and I'm happy to have her.

I'm sure you're all probably wondering where this puts them? What does this mean? Well it means they messy for sure. Will this continue after this? I don't know how they go back to being 'colleagues'. after banging each other's brains out whenever they had the chance to this entire episode. If this does continue at some point will it be Tim to stop it? Because the man wants a relationship paired with all the physical goodies. Will it finally prompt the talk they need to have? Idk tbh. This season is a wild card in the best way. I'm delightfully surprised each week. I sure hope it prompts that talk.

I guarantee my perspective on this will be much different this summer. After the season is in hand. My in-depth ones might have a better answer then. I will say Lucy is fighting Tim still on some stuff. Like getting back together officially. She has been successful in fending that off, and failing on other things. Such as her physical draw to him. Like a moth to a blazing flame with that one. This is a step in the right direction as messy as it was. (and delightful as hell to watch) This entire season has been a slow thaw on her part. Tim slowly climbing his way back in. Each week is him making good on that promise he made to her in 6x10.

What I think prompted this whole thing was that shop scene at the end of 7x11. Why you ask? Well Tim being emotionally available and patient for one. Showing up for her constantly. Letting her know this new transparent Tim is here to stay. He has been building her up week in and week out. Even though she was very happy before with him. What he's doing now, this is something I'm sure she's always craved out of him. Something she was hoping they were headed to someday before they ended so abruptly. All this emotionally intimacy with him is igniting something in her.

It has revved her engine and she couldn't keep away from him any longer. I said couple eps ago Tim being changed, being open, and emotionally available was going to awaken her 'Why.' He continued on in '7x11.' and it instead of igniting her Why, it ignited her passion for him. One she has been trying so very hard to suppress. Craving that deep physical connection she can only get with him. Now, I've never been in love, but I can only imagine the heightened emotions during sex when you are, and how much better it must make it.

That is what she was really reaching out for here in this ep under the guise of a 'prank.' Wanted to have her cake and eat it too as it were. They can pretend all day long this was just a 'hall pass.' But no way in hell they aren't being emotionally charged during it all. I was talking to a friend about this, this morning and she had the best reply. That yes she was horny for Tim but the only person she was pranking with these hookups was herself. To think she isn't going to fall deeper in love with this transformed Tim...She's out of her damn mind. She already loved him but this is like taking a hot fudge sundae and making it even better with extra toppings. The toppings being change in this man she loves so deeply.

Whew *wipes brow.* Well hot damn I enjoyed writing about this one. Could not be more satisfied with this season if I tried. All the hiding and secrecy was worth this season. Arcane S2 Thoughts

I've had a week to digest this season and well, I guess I have the unpopular opinion of being very disappointed. After the initial flash of gorgeous animation and some ooo's and awe's.... I was left with a bitter aftertaste. I can rewatch S1 loads of time. I don't think I can watch S2 again.

I'm happy for the fans that loved it and got what they wanted or the shippers that got what they wanted. I'm happy for you. Do your thing.

Me? Not so much. Even as a Silco fan (and I admit to squeeing for any footage of him at first), I'm not pleased. Yeah, my young Silco is a nerd, man-bun hottie, but that's where it ended for me. His entire characterization was nothing like the character I fell head over heels for in S1.

Vander's Flashback: I honestly don't find Felicia's inclusion necessary at all. In fact, I think it waters down everything between Silco and Vander. Their knowing her and the kids creates more questions, plotholes, and problems than it supposedly solves.

Why is Vander only in those memories with the kids? It's before the fallout with Silco. Why don't the kids know or remember nice Silco? Why do they only fear him (obv that's from Vander and Benzo, yes?)?

Why doesn't Silco seem to know Powder at Vander's dead body? Why would he kill Felicia's kids? None of it makes any fucking sense if he cared about Felicia. He hates Vander so much, he hates the kids too because he adopted them?

How the hell does S2 Young Silco turn into S1 Silco? Riot really messed this one up. Vander's attempted murder didn't change his entire personality.

It was a rebellion battle. People were going to get hurt and killed. They had to know this. So, whether Silco accidentally killed Felicia (as some fans are debating) or she died, is so damn dumb for Vander to solely blame Silco. Takes the kids, becomes a pacifist FIRST and then decides to (shave and grow younger) kill his brother for the greater good. Doesn't make one lick of sense narratively.

The narrative, characterization and animation inconsistencies don't help from S1 either. The drowning scene doesn't fit the S2 explanation. They're too young. Vander had a beard and appears much older on the bridge. Hell, S2 Young!Silco looks older than S1 Young!Silco. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. If people want to kiss Riot's ass, fine, but there was too much that was straight up lazy writing.

Silco's death is just glossed over considering how important he is. Silco did what Vander couldn't. Even without Shimmer, the Underground was thriving. Cait's mother's death/burial/statue gets more screen time and Silco gets dumped in the river. No one seems to question his death or what happened? Yeah, ok.

I'll use this moment to complain about the excessive music video montages this season too. I watched S1 again and the writing and use of music worked in unison and enhanced scenes. S2 felt like scenes in between music videos and it was irritating.

There was so much screentime wasted that could have been good dialogue heavy scenes that S1 was great at. Instead, time wasted on poorly executed plotlines that needed way more time to flesh out (Mel, Ekko and Viktor) and we have slowmo music videos and MCU fight scenes. Hermie's guitar song and Mission Impossible jokster crap was laughable and not in a good way.

Riot tried to pack too much into one season, and it was a mess. This season felt like watching a Marvel movie. Cool action sequences with little to no substance. All the nuance and grit from last season were gone in favor of the 'good vs. bad' trope. All the political-societal issues in S1 were abandoned that were far more fascinating to explore.

Mel has superpowers now? It feels all out of place. Her, Ambessa, and the Black Rose plot have zero time to make it interesting and plausible. She was introduced as this master manipulator/politician and her sage persona feels so forced.

Jesus Demigod Viktor was too much. I was excited for the Machine Herald and the psychedelic Arcane magical multiverse took me out. Making him to be the big baddie and timeloop it around to Jayce felt like a big cop out. Viktor deserved better. Hell, Jayce deserved better.

So much was sacrificed to make the whole Arcane magic THE point of the series when it was one of the least interesting aspects of the show. Hextech for weapons and the continuing problems between Piltover and Zaun was RIPE for storytelling. It seems each act needed several episodes to cover.

Ekko sure as fuck deserved better than that half assed time warp with Hermie. The AU really bothered me. Everything felt wrong. EVERYTHING. Nothing was explained well at all. It felt like complete fan service at the expense of the characters. Before people rip me saying "well duh! It was an AU!". You don't assassinate characters and plot to have a happy ending that insults your viewers.

They turned Zaun (its own cool character) into the bargain basement of Piltover. How is it sunny and pretty? Really? Mirror tricks? Everyone just forgave Piltover after years of oppression?

You're telling me Vi's death saved humanity? Fuck that shit right now. Piltover just stopped because a kid died? Suddenly everything became better? What happened to Jayce? Viktor? Hell, Hermie after decades didn't give two shits about Zaun, so what changed with the Council? Where's Singed? I don't buy it.

I don't buy Jinx/Powder being super normal smart girl. I LOVE JInx, but I believe she had mental issues prior breaking into Jayce's apartment. I don't think Vi's death made that go away (as I don't believe Silco's death did either). As someone who battles with mental health, this is insulting to me as a viewer.

I hated AU Silco. There. I said it. He just forgave Vander? Really? Bullshit. The reason Vander tried to kill him is stupid. A simple letter changed Silco? That fluffy-haired softy is not Silco. I can't imagine that Silco being the one who fought a rebellion. He probably would not have become a mob boss peddling drugs but this AU softboi dad feels so wrong. I never would have stanned AU Silco. Not in a million years.

S1 Silco's traits didn't magically appear because Vander betrayed him. The young S1 Silco had to be similar in many ways to older S1 Silco. Drive, ambition, ruthlessness, willing to die for a cause. I don't see Felicia's death changing that. I certainly don't see Vi's death changing that.

If Vander needed to kill Silco to stop the violence, etc, it's because he saw Silco as a threat to him or society as a whole. S1 Vander is known as The Hound. So, he seems to be violent as well. He takes credit for building the Underground when Felicia credits both 'bozos' for it. So Vander being upset she died and blaming Silco to the point of murder is a slap in the face to fans' intelligence.

I do hate that by Vi's death, everything is magically better. I can't express how much I hate that. AU Powder was irritating and was nothing like my Jinx that I love. Again so much wasted time that could have been better spent on good character driven scenes that actually advance the plot.

Pointless characters. Introduce Isha (who I adored). Make her seem important to Jinx. Kill her and never mention her again. So what was the point of her inclusion this season? Just to make Jinx suicidal? I hated that also. Again WASTED SCREENTIME.

Oh, and Caitvi was a disgrace. I think shippers deserved better here, too. Caitlyn goes crazy dictator because of guilt over her mom. Granted, Caitvi only knew each other for a week-ish? Not a lot of time to make their relationship serious past an infatuation. Cait turns from all her good points last season to Ambessa's padawan.

Don't get me started on that side piece Maddie. Really? Cait you were that hard up? And that long awaited sex scene was a big eye roll. Vi goes to her sister, and shit goes to hell, and a few minutes later, she's fucking Cait in the same cell. Vi was reduced to shit this season.

I mean, these characters just got shafted in every way for a high speed train wreck ending that we've seen a million times in Disneyfied stories. Action sequences were more important than actual character development and plot.

You can't make me believe that one speech from Jayce 'seeing a possible future' suddenly got Zaun to work with and dress up as Piltover soldiers? Really?

I had high hopes for Sevika, and the girl got shit nothing to do except in two episodes. Her seat on the Council feels like a last-minute decision and not worthy enough to expand on.

What made S1 so great was the class divide between Zaun and Piltover and how it affected the characters. S2 decided to scrap that and go with the easy good vs evil trope instead. Even the parallels didn't have the same hit as last season.

I did like Jinx talking to her 'ghost' Silco in the jail cell. He was calming to her in contrast to Milo/Claggor except the implication that she should die (that's what I got out of that).

We didn't even get much from Singed. Yeah, he got his daughter back (in some form) but his story was so blah. We didn't get nearly enough of him and Warwick and what made Warwick.

I guessed a few years ago it was going to be Vander but I didn't like how it was handled.

Too many plotlines all rushed together without getting any decent screentime and explanations that don't confuse or insult viewers intelligence. OR you have to be a LOL fan/player to understand. I never played LOL before S1 and wasn't confused as to the main plot.

I loved all the characters in S1 and felt they were pretty much watered down or assassinated in S2 for an apocalyptical Demigod villain vs humanity battle done to death finale.

The Zaun/Piltover political-societal problems, parallels, corruption, science going wrong, pathway to hell paved with good intentions themes from S1 was so much better in every single aspect.

I'm still a fan of S1 and the characters and frankly, I'm going to ignore 95% of S2.

...well I'll be, Stolas actually getting some narrative consequences here?? 😲😲Standing up for Blitz's life, taking the blame for the Grimoire's misuse, accepting his punishment of the 100 year ban from his status, wealth & powers that were part of his life since forever... daaaaang, now this is some good character building here!~ 👀 Now, with such an honorable & grand gesture Stolas did for the sake of Blitz, their brief duet, and the end shot of them basically becoming roommates now that Stolas has nothing left... does this make me an official Stol*itz shipper now?? 🤩 ...Hmmmmmmmmm, nah lol 🤷‍♀️Now, okay I don't mean to sound like some negative nancy bitch or however, cause I AM proud of Stolas taking the lengths he did to protect Blitz & IMP (and now with him not having a fancy prince title anymore, this could potentially give him the chance to challenge his past privileged/classist mindset, living in the same social class as the same Imps his fellow Goetia society have long-oppressed). However, if there's anything I've learned from shows like Bojack Horseman... big grand gestures are NOT the be-all/end-all answer to proving romantic compatibility 👏👏

When it comes to any sort of relationship, romantic or otherwise... what should matter most is consistent, genuine care & support from one partner to another. And as far as we've seen from Stolas & Blitz's dynamic up til this point... imo, they really haven't had enough positive (non-sexual) bonding moments (save for stuff like their attempts at small talk at "Ozzie's", Stolas laughing at Blitz's sitcom jokes in "Seeing Stars", one photo of Blitz smiling while they slept), to justify them being some "destined-for-one-another" couple? 🤷‍♀️ Not helped by how both men were constantly avoiding & bickering at one another for most of S2 up til now... Iiiii can't be the only one who found it just a tad rushed Blitz was suddenly all "loving/domestic hubby mode🥺🥺" towards Stolas at the end... right? .w.;; Esp. in light of Stolas going through so much as he had to in one trial (+the realization of what'll become of his daughter, following said-punishment) ...he really, really shouldn't be in the mindset for tackling romance rn (at least til he continues to grow & heal better, down the line)... with OR without Blitz😔

....buuut yeah, thats just my own take on the matter; so ofc NO shade at all to those who are genuine Stolas/Stol*itz fans btw (thanks to this ep and/or previous ones), you're valid!👍👍For me, I'll still be vibing onwards with my own personal HCs/ships, so feel free to stay tuned for that if you're curious! :>

Now that we've finally got to meet Vassago upfront, Iiiii'm honestly a lil disappointed he was just... "there" in terms of plot-relevancy (even with all his previous trailer/merch hype)? .w.;; Don't get me wrong, I DO find it refreshing that Vassago's actually a nice guy, and that Stolas did have some genuine support in the Goetia society after all. But other than Vassago wholesomely cheering on Stolas by the sidelines... hmmm, I can't help feeling like not much would've changed had Vassago not been here at all, ngl 🤷‍♀️ Maaaaybe S3 might change things if he gets more spotlight there instead (esp with what I remember everyone theorizing of Vassago (possibly) becoming a 2nd love interest for Stolas .3. idk, part of me's kinda curious how that'd play out with Blitz in the picture- 🤔)?

Andrealphus's antagonist spotlight here... was fine, I guess? Idk, I can't say I've ever been too big a fan of Andre beforehand (mainly from his late-inclusion in the Stolas plot feeling a lil forced + him stealing the spotlight of what could've been interesting villain potential for Stella imo). Not to say I didn't find some of his hammy dialogue funny, along with enjoying the visuals of his ice magic... buuuut yeah, still pretty lukewarm towards him either way 🤷‍♀️could've also done without those creepy af comments about his sister as well... like bruh that in*cest shit wasn't funny the first time, whyyy keep bringing that back- 🤢

Speaking of Stella... ehhhhh, still a pretty flat character as she was in previous episodes (which I guess shouldn't be too surprising with this show's track record with female characters ngl 🤷‍♀️). Interesting to finally see an on-screen interaction with her & Octavia though (granted, not exactly on a good note given her evil smirk at the end... but I guess it does answer some HC questions I had previously of what their mother/daughter dynamic is like, hmmm... 🤔).

As for Octavia in-question... hhHHHH MY POOR BIRD CHILD T-T 💔💔Girl practically watched her greatest fears coming true (aka: Stolas abandoning her for the sake of Blitz), seeing what became of her dad on live-TV. Even if she obviously doesn't know the full story (esp with her mom & uncle pulling strings), its still SO heartbreaking when you consider her trailer sneak-peek ("You never loved Mother, you don't love me, you love him-"). And with only one episode left before S2 wraps up... ooooof, this ain't gonna be pretty ;-;

I feel like this has become an issue with all fandoms in recent years. A lot of people are against shipping stuff that isn’t canon for some reason. Some people use the excuse “they’re protecting themselves from being hurt,” which I guess is fair but really I feel like that’s such a lame excuse. Because canon couples aren’t permanent either. You can get hurt from them breaking up or one of them dying. I also see a lot of people who say this having the same argument that a lot of people homophobic people have when it comes to shipping people of the same sex, which is “why can’t they just be friends? Why do (insert two people of the same sex here) have to be a couple?” And while I would blame 2020 for normalizing fandom culture on this, I also think the rise of conservatism (around the world, not just in the United States), as well as the rise of anti-intellectualism are to blame for this too. People either don’t look into things anymore, or they just don’t want to. People have lost their whismy, and take stuff at face value, or they just never had it begin with. It’s sorta depressing tbh.

very true about canon couples breaking up or whatnot. but it’s almost like some people have decided that because a couple is or ever was canon, everything you say about them has basis in canon too?!?! like no, you can still be just seeing what you want to see like all the rest of us poor fools shipping non-canon ships lol.

always feel like a traitor when we dislike a popular yuri but bleh. weh. we don't like anemone is in heat. this is probably our greatest sin next to thinking the green yuri is mid. we'll still be reading anemone but it has failed to impress us as of yet for numerous reasons

first and foremost it tries to be a serious series but you can tell the author is only doing it because they want to make their ocs hug and kiss a bunch. they basically admit to this in one of the afterwords. it's really rushed. if there's any big drama or conflict it's resolved within 1–2 chapters. hell, the mc goes from hating this girl's guts to dating her way too fast it's like they just wanted to get all the buildup out of the way asap and get straight into the "squee moments"

speaking of which the reason mc hated this girl at first is because she committed the crime of being disabled around her and was a burden. it was exam day and love interest collapsed from her illness and mc decided to help her and missed the exam and blames her even though her internal monologue insists "it's not her fault" a couple times she really does sound like she thinks it's her fault. she can't stand seeing her face so she starts out making her wear an eye mask to talk to her

the above hatred isn't really examined or criticized or anything, nor is the reason for it. any and all of the relationship development comes from mc going "ok i will force myself to come to like this girl and force myself to help her"

really though the whole plot just feels like a vehicle and excuse for the fluffy moments. not sure how to describe it other than something that feels like a fanfic author trying to write original fiction using only fanfic sensibilities

we knowwww most people like this yuri it's okay we won't harass you for it or anything it was just such a letdown for us the art was cute so we wanted to like the story but it just fell flat

Kdrama: Lovely Runner (2024)

First Impressions/Squee-fest (eps 1-5)

Byeon. Woo. Seok. The face (and height!) that banished my thousand drama slumps. The hype is real! I started this show for that face (you know what I mean) but stayed for the OTP cuteness overload (squee).

In this streaming era, where kdramas are more and more Westernized, it's becoming harder to find a quintessential kdrama that's unapologetically romantic, and makes you all giddy inside. I missed this. If you're looking for a youth romcom with all the feels, and a time travel twist to keep you in your toes, look no further.

All the characters are so likable, even the second lead. My only gripe about the drama is some of its comedic bits are bordering on slapstick and cringe, but I can forgive everything for this couple, when the drama gives me OTP screentime chemistry all the time as what romance should be.

The does give a lot of Taiwanese time travel series Someday or One day vibes, which is  uniquely good, but a more sad serious drama. Lovely Runner balances the serious stakes with a lighter theme throughout.

Ryu Sun Jae, what more can I say? 99.9% Lovely Runner fans are probably infatuated with Sun Jae/BWS already. Can you blame Sol for giving it her all in saving him? All that gorgeousness adorkable package, you'll just fall in love bit by bit with each episode you spend with him.

mmmm temptation to try and write a cacaoviar fic is strong, just caviar showing up without any prior warning and it cracks up cacao so much to see the poor captain absolutely freezing his ass off because he refused to put on any semblance of a top or even warmer clothing in general

Top Five Star Trek ENT Episodes

Well, this is going to be a short blogpost, y’all. Sorry for the disappointment, but blame Enterprise! There just weren’t that many episodes that your A Star to Steer Her By hosts really liked – not even enough to fill the image grid above, so guess which ones made it as honorable mentions! Or perhaps it was just that the best of the best really rose to the top in a way that four Trekkies with entirely different tastes could even agree on them. So you’re going to see way more overlap in our favorite episodes than in any Trek series before! Even The Animated Series, which only had twenty-two terrible episodes to choose from!

Star Trek: Enterprise occasionally capitalized on its prequel premise with backstory that expanded the franchise in an interesting way, came up with original science fiction ideas, or just plain caved and gave the audience the fanwank they wanted. Read on below and listen to this week’s podcast episode (jump to 1:32:58 for the series wrap) with bonus picks from guest star Liz for the times that we found most successful from an otherwise mediocre show.

“Acquisition”: Chris Like in Voyager’s Top Five Eps last year, Chris is getting us started with an entirely fluffy Ferengi episode. We’re actually a little bit disappointed it has made this list because that means there wasn’t anything better to displace it, but that’s not our fault. So just accept that you’re going to fanwank about Ferengi goofiness; squee whenever familiar faces like Jeffrey Combs, Ethan Phillips, and Clint Howard are on screen utterly devouring the scenery; and enjoy the ride.

“Borderland”: Caitlin Speaking of familiar faces, Brent Spiner is back as yet another mad scientist Soong, pressing all the right buttons. How can you not get entirely drawn in by the cocky swagger so reminiscent of Lore? There’s also an Orion slave market (before they ruin the damn Orions in “Bound”) run by the Big Show and that’s just so right. There’s a lot of potential here in the start of this Augments arc, even if the Augments themselves are somehow the least interesting part of it.

“In a Mirror, Darkly”: Chris We could have seen this one coming for years now. Of course the kooky mirror universe episode was going to make Chris’s best list. It’s a screwball concept full of references to make a nerd’s heart swell, lots of overacting from the cast, and a theme song that isn’t “Where My Heart Will Take Me.” The episode also greatly succeeds in finding a way to reward diehard fans with scenes on a Constitution-class starship like in DS9’s “Trials and Tribble-ations,” which Chris also unsurprisingly put on a seasons tops list.

“Observer Effect”: Ames, Caitlin This bottle episode is so successful in its medium that I’m this close to knocking off “Remember Me” as my best example of a bottle episode in a past blogpost. It’s the rare instance of an episode that actually gives the whole cast something to do – even Anthony Montgomery, though we must admit that it’s not as Mayweather that he gets to strut his stuff. I’d call “Observer Effect” a simple premise executed excellently. It may not blow any minds, but it’s just so competent that we had to commend it.

“Dead Stop”: Caitlin, Jake Another fairly simple premise executed well comes early in season two, with a rare example of something truly original to come out of Enterprise. The concept of the nefarious autonomous repair station is just so compelling and creepy, and the tension builds throughout the episode when we start to see that the crew’s desperation to fix the ship is used against them. Roxann Dawson as the inhuman and apathetic voice of the repair station just adds to its success.

“Twilight”: Ames, Jake Is “Twilight” a little bit “Yesterday’s Enterprise”? Sure, but that’s actually a good thing in this case because Archer’s alternate future is a new twist on the trope with a really clever solution to negate the issue and get the timeline back on track. And I’m just such a sucker for a memory loss story because it’s so tragic and fascinating to see caregiver T’Pol have to explain to an amnesiac Archer that Earth was destroyed. Daily. Only for him to forget everything the following morning. What a heart-breaking life.

“Carbon Creek”: Ames, Chris, Jake Another fresh take on storytelling is the fable that T’Pol tells about her second foremother’s historic first contact with humans. Zephram, eat your heart out. It’s just such a clever little story about Vulcans living outside their element, having the occasional fish-out-of-water experience with Earth culture, and coming to understand humans a little more. And how can you not ship Mestral and Maggie a little bit?

“Similitude”: Ames, Caitlin, Chris, Jake It’s a tie for the best episode of the series, with a pair of episodes that fully swept the SSHB hosts’ choices. Let’s start it off with the really cool concept of a clone with a fifteen-day life cycle. Unlike in something like “Cogenitor” over on the bad list of the series, it’s clear in this episode that you’re meant to sympathize with Sim and understand that Archer and Phlox are doing something utterly unethical because of their circumstances. And damn, does Connor Trinneer rock this episode!

“Shuttlepod One”: Ames, Caitlin, Chris, Jake Last but definitely not least is another bottle episode, showing you just why less is more. It’s such a simple character study of how Trip and Reed each handle catastrophe while freezing their asses off on a shuttlepod lightyears away from anything. It’s also another actor showcase for Dominic Keating and Connor Trinneer, who add so much nuance to two characters dealing with hope and hopelessness.

Hey remember when I swore up and down I wasn't going to liveblog my entire rewatch? Good times.

Part of me is like: I would get through these so much faster if I didn't insist on screenshotting them and commenting and making jokes

But the rest of me knows damn well I probably just wouldn't bother watching them?? This way feels a bit like watching it *with* someone, which I always prefer to watching things alone.

Also tbh if I did just marathon them while knitting or something I wouldn't remember anything!! Which would defeat the point!! So here I am.

If you're new to these posts: I am doing a rewatch of She-Ra with the specific purpose of taking notes for a fic I'm working on--but because this is me we're talking about, I also post a ton of screenshots with the purposes of commentary, squeeing at specific scenes, and making jokes. Because it's a rewatch, I don't comment on every plot point and I often mention things that happen later in the show--in other words, these might be confusing if you haven't seen the show yet.
