Future Sonic Cyber Revolution Arcs

I had gotten a few questions in regards to Sonic Cyber Revolution, mainly about what will happen next in the story and how long Sonic Cyber Revolution will even last. I will be honest, I don't know how long the story will be, mainly because I still have to exhaust all of my ideas. I have an idea for an ending, but even that ''ending'' is more of an open end idea that could be continued.

Here are the Arcs and the major plot points that will happen in the future:

The Chaos Rising Arc

Introduces Cream, Cheese, Vanilla, Chocola, Rough and Tumble.

Adapts the story of Sonic Adventure, featuring the introduction of Chaos and Tikal.

Features the first appearance of Super Sonic.

Partially adapts Issue #25 A Sudden Shift and Issue #50 Battle for the Empire of Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW) comic.

The Neo Genesis Arc

Important Sonadow content. X3

Features the return of Blaze and Sana, and the first appearance of Marine.

Partially adapts Metal Sonic's story from Sonic Heroes.

Introduces Neo Metal Sonic.

The Impostor Syndrome Arc

Features the proper return of Dr. Starline.

Introduces Surge and Kit.

Adapts the Impostor Syndrome story from the Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW) comic.

The Black Arms Arc

Adapts the story of Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

Features the invasion of the Black Arms and the return of ARMS.

Introduces Black Doom and Eclipse.

Features the first appearance of Super Shadow.

Introduces an important character who had been alluded to in previous chapters in regards to the in-universe lore.

These are the stories that are so far set in stone and I might change or add some plot points, as well as add more slice-of-life chapters. I also have at least two more Arcs on mind and a rough idea for the plot of those two Arcs, but I'm not sure when they'll happen in the timeline... yet.

The Light of The Future Arc

Partial adaptation of Silver's story from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).

Has Silver, Sonic, Shadow, Makoto, Lucas and Touka time travel to an alternate future where they meet Silver's former friend/partner.

Features the proper return of Mephiles, Iblis and Toshiro.

Solidifies Mephiles as Silver's opponent, as he previously had been established as Shadow's arch-enemy.

Features the first appearance of Super Silver.

The Knight of The Wind Arc

Adapts the story of Sonic and The Black Knight.

Sonic and his friends are trapped in a DnD-like video game and have to beat the Final Boss to escape it.

That Final Boss is Dr. Eggman, who has hacked into the game, hoping to trap them inside it forever as part of his latest scheme.

Metal Sonic and Ferra are also recurring enemies within the video game, having been sent by Dr. Eggman to deal with Team Neos.

Features the first appearance of Excalibur Sonic.

I still have much more notes, but this is all I'm willing to share, for now. I wouldn't be surprised if this story manages to reach up to 100 Chapters.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Is this not the perfect Christmas tree for Christmas with your queerplatonic life partner in your strange little house? I think it is. Now our favorite interpretation of Sherlock Holmes is the Granada with Jeremy Brett. So it's his visage and that of his longtime Watson, Edward Hardwicke, who top the tree this year.....with miniature festive versions of their top hat and bowler hat:

Some of the Ornaments are just things that come up often in Holmes's world. Like Holmes's Violin, a Train, a Magnifying Glass, Various Vials of Science and Tobacco Ash, Smoking Pipes, and Watson's Revolver.

Others are references to certain cases; The Severed Ear from "The Cardboard Box", Mary's Pearls and Poison Darts from "Sign of the Four", the French Gold from "The Red Headed League", an Orange with Five Pips from "The Five Orange Pips", the Triangulated Tree from "The Muskgrave Ritual", the Big Dog from "Hound of the Baskervilles", the Noose from "The Resident Patient", the Bicyle from "The Solitary Cyclist", "Silver Blaze"'s horseshoe, A "Blue Carbuncle", Irene Adler's Sovereign from "A Scandal in Bohemia", and a garland of Dancing Men from "The Dancing Men" that spells out the Lyrics to "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen".

I've also included the crest of Mycroft's Diogennes Club with their mascot (a plucked chicken) and their motto (Shut up ...but in Latin), and a skull....because it seemed appropriate.

And of course......there are plenty of copies of the magazine where Watson immortalized their adventures together:

Sonic headcanons after the events of SABK:

Oddly enough, some people noticed the way he waves sticks, metal poles, and similar objects around looks professional. Though no one really put too much thought in it if he was actually using any kind of techniques.

Sonic knows old English, well more than the average person. While no one uses it in modern times, he knows how it is spoken and knows how to read it.

It’s something that Sonic usually shrugs off, but after being around Lancelot and Galahad. He can’t help but notice some coincidental traits Shadow and Silver share between one another.

Sonic gained slightly more respect towards Blaze. He honestly doesn’t know how he would professionally run a kingdom full time if it weren’t for Caliburn, and the other knights when he had to temporarily be King.

Excalibur Sonic was cool, but armour weights Sonic down as well as restricting his movement so he prefers not to wear it if the subject were to come up again.

One time Sonic asked Tails what he thought about black smiting. While confused, Tails said that the idea of it seemed interesting to him.

During his time in Camelot, Sonic learned some of the music that was played in the towns. He would sometimes try to replay them himself on his guitar after leaving.

He also would try to recreate the food that was given to him.

The parallels between Miles Morales and Bree Matthews?!

Both of them at the end of their respective arcs are being told who they are and what they are supposed to be and do. And the general feeling I get from both of them can be summed up by Miles in Across the Spider -verse, when he is being chased and assaulted back to back by Spidermen, women alike from across the whole multiverse, and Miguel is telling him that he was a mistake, that he was never supposed to even be spiderman.. that he is the ANOMOLY and for things to continue moving forward without any further hiccups he has to let his father die.

which I feel is so so Briana Matthews right now. Of course Bree doesn't explicitly say a line like this towards the end of BloodMarked, but ohhhh I totally think we are going to get there in Oathbound.

In both LegendBorn and Bloodmarked Bree is told that her being the Scion of Arthur was a mistake. That she, someone like her shouldn't even be apart of the Legendborn let alone apart of their "traditions" and this was clear after Bree was never going to be allowed to pull Excalibur with the Regents in attendance. They had already made the decision that whatever Briana Matthews is or can potentially be is nothing more than a threat to their existence.

Can you not see the parallels here?!

That question feels like a shoutout to Lord Davis ( or as the #wizardteampod has coined Dud Davis.) and that thought irks me.

(( I will admit that I thought it was Doug Davis for like 10 minutes and I sat thinking... who the hell is DOUG?? ))

Dud David is just so fitting because a dud can be defined as a thing that fails to work properly or is otherwise unsatisfactory or worthless. Which is so funny because his whole plan to call on Camlann by opening the gates 25 years or so ago, was a bust. Yet that man was so delusion that be believes he is the chosen one, the one who will uproot all the corruption and evil, and believed that with Arthurs powers he would be able to do so.

THEN!! THEN!!! when he meets Arthur while he was in the possession of Bree's body EVEN PROBLEMATIC ASS ARTHUR wants nothing to do with him. That was poetic justice.

We know Bonnie (TVD) and Revenge Katara (ATLA) inspired Bree's character but we have yet to see Bree herself act by her own accord to achieve revenge. ( BECAUSE MANY OF THE TIMES BREE HAS BEEN BAD ASS AND BEATING SOMEONE'S ASS SHE WAS POSESSED BY THAT.... VIRUS OF A SPIRIT, ARTHUR. I do wonder how far her anger will take her in her story because she doesn't (currently that is, because she is with the Shadow King) have a Anng like character to keep her in check. Since she has isolated her self physically and mentally from everyone.

AANNNDD let's not forget she is not the only one full of rage either. William's arc is currently underway, and we do not know how he is going to deal with all the sadness for loosing his squire, Whitty and the anger he feels at the Regents and even himself. Especially towards the end of Bloodmarked where he is dealing with the fact that he is unable to heal Alice or Selwyn because there is no information on his powers being used to treat a Onceborn or a Cambion who has fully transformed.

Brianna says that the Regents will pay for the many things they have done but for making William question himself and breaking him will be chief among them. Can I just say how excited I am to see how this part will play out.!!!!

and of course after the Rites when she is in a drugged state while being interrogated she tells Regent Aldrich

ALSO!!! a dishonorable mention... FUCK TOR! I do not want her to get a redemption arc I am comfortably fine with hating her and just like in real life there are some people who never get a redemption arc they stay sick and twisted till the day they die.

back on the parallels', these songs from the Across the Spider-verse soundtrack just feel so Legendborn coded. AM I DREAMING is simply BREE's song and you can not tell me otherwise. She's been beaten and forced into a corner time and time again but even still she hasn't given up. This can be credited to the Oathbound teaser where the Shadow King has given the twins an interesting challenge and as she takes off into the forest she says she has no choice but to master this lesson and the one after this and when she has learned everything she can and finally has control she is going to kill him. I will say ' Calling' can be interpreted as a song for so many different characters. I personally think any one of the trio can probably relate to this song. I on the other hand thought of 1 maybe 2 people while listening to the song. So I'm curious which characters will pop up in someone else's mind.

Great, now I have my old unwritten and extremely derivative novels on the brain and the construction outside is making work on Digimon impossible so I'm just going to ramble about things I came up with when I was about 10-15 years old and never wrote here.

So, the basic idea I had was that this wouldn't be the story of any one particular character but rather the story of a world. Like Marvel, one of my many many inspirations, I wanted it to feel like a sandbox that countless interesting lives could exist within.

The basic idea of the world was this. Eons ago, there was a great red dragon and a great white dragon. I don't know why I picked those colors. The two dragons fought each other for control over the Earth. Whichever dragon won, the races they governed would supremely rule the entire world.

The red dragon won and banished the white dragon and its chosen races from the Earth, condemning them to live in a dying world with scarce resources.

This was supposed to be a perspective thing. The people who know the ancient lore would describe it as the red dragon saving us from wicked creatures, but in the world of the "demons" as we call them, they describe it as a great evil that was done to them by a cruel usurper. Neither dragon is actually good; This was just politics. Two feudal kings wanting to claim each other's land, with a winning and losing side writing their own histories.

The red dragon, upon banishing the white dragon and the demons from the Earth, fell into a great slumber in its domain outside of reality. The humans built a great temple there accessible from a thousand secret doors in a thousand places across the planet. There a secret society worships the red dragon to this day and keeps the red dragon's idea of peace by hunting and slaying demons who cross the barrier into our world.

I originally conceived of the "Hunters" running around using swords and axes but later redesigned them to be a modernized military force with tactical gear and guns. This is because I realized it'd be silly for a secret society of monster fighters to not update their arsenals as weapons technology evolved.

There are also vampires, who are basically the middle ground between human and demon. Too human to fit in among demons and too demon to be accepted by the "Hunters".

My vampire rules were that vampires are super strong and fast, they regenerate from injuries, they never age, and also they each have special powers. They drink blood because of a biological need; They'll waste away without it. Any kind of water burns them, the sun takes away their powers but doesn't directly harm them, and being impaled through the heart paralyzes but doesn't kill them. They can be killed by decapitation, fire, or by being completely submerged in water.

There were also four eight Elemental spirits because I wanted there to be more than four so I made up four extra elements. The eight "Guardians" are the protectors of the Dragon Temple and have a sacred duty, but it's been eons since they were called to that duty and they've all just sort of flitted off.

Each of the Guardians has a Final Fantasy crystal embedded in their heart, basically parasitizing the human it's implanted in and merging their identity with the persistent ongoing identity of the Guardian. You take in the crystal of "Blaze", the Fire Guardian, and basically merge with the Blaze lineage, acquiring eons of memories and knowledge from everyone who's ever been Blaze before.

The idea was that the eight Guardians would rarely show up together in a story but any one of them might crop up somewhere. The Lightning Guardian is a mercenary who does paid jobs for demons. The Water Guardian is literally the Lady in the Lake and safeguards the holy sword Excalibur, forged from a fang of the red dragon. The Fire Crystal gets experimented on by Not Umbrella Corporation "Biodyne". Etc. etc.

To open the door to the inner sanctum of the temple where the red dragon sleeps, the eight of them must come together and combine their powers. But there hasn't been a reason to do that in over a thousand years and they aren't just gonna hang around the temple forever. They have lives to lead.

Over on the other side of the barrier, there are many races under the white dragon who are colloquially called "demons" by humans. They have their own societies in a decaying and dying world, though much of their culture is simply built around survival.

Over time, the barrier between worlds grew weaker, and the demons have started to cross over more and more. Though many are refugees just looking for a better world to live in or to escape political persecution, whether the Hunters distinguish between them and genuinely dangerous demons is a crapshoot, often up to the individual.

The demons are governed by meritocratic aristocracies united under the guidance of a Lord. The aristocracies have wealth and privileges above the common serfs, but also a culture that allows leaders to be directly challenged by their underlings. If one of your workers can prove that they can do your job better than you can then they can lay legal claim to your throne.

On paper, anyway. But they're also a rigid society whose current leadership polices their followers through dogma. The Demon Lord throne is presently occupied by a medieval human warrior king banished from his lands by Plot whose policies discourage his followers from independent thought.

Under the present Demon Lord's dominion, groupthink is rigidly enforced, and individuals who speak against the common good - as he defines it - receive Outcast brands over their left eye to identify them as having lost all citizenship rights and protections.

This is pretty much a complete violation of the spirit of the meritocratic culture that he usurped. A fact that has not been lost on recurring character and Token Friendly Demon Leminice (pronounced Leh-minn-iss), who was the prince of a noble house until he was branded Outcast for educating himself on forbidden ideologies.

Leminice and his human bestie, a Hunter named Electra, were basically going to be set up to be the Agent Coulson of the series. They would appear in supporting roles for many of the stories, not as the main characters but as part of the overarching mythos being built from one seemingly unrelated story to the next.

There were a lot of complicated ideas swirling in my head for this universe and the many, many characters I created to live in it. But it was all hamstrung by the fact that I grew up on action cartoons and battle anime, and didn't know of any way to tell a story other than "And then they FIGHT."

So the actual story wound up full of stuff like "And then the Demon King personally comes to San Francisco to invade it, and the hero beats him in a swordfight and saves the world! And everyone immediately stops fighting when he dies because I guess he was a loadbearing boss."

I never could figure out how to make it work as a series of novels, especially since my brain is more configured to think in terms of TV and film than in text anyway so a lot of my ideas had specific camera angles and stuff that I couldn't figure out how to translate into words.

Multiple attempts to start were made, but they all inevitably petered out. I'm just not equipped to be a writer. So eventually it was all just left behind.

Even within the waves of shifting allegiances and uncertain loyalties that permeated the halls of Hogwats, Merlin could not deny the profound reservoir of wisdom that Salazar possessed, despite their political differences. 

"Think of the civilians, Salazar," Merlin implored, his voice tinged with urgency. "Pureblood civilians are suffering under the oppressive grip of that forest. "People's lives are at stake!" Morgana snapped, her frustration boiling over. "They require aid!"

"Then retrieve your master's sword," Salazar replied with a chilling detachment, his voice a cold whisper. "Return it to the stone where it rightfully belongs, until a worthy pureblood comes forth to claim it."

Merlin’s jaw tightened. “Excalibur isn’t just a sword; it’s made of the same magic as Gryffindor’s sword. You know that, Salazar, it's basically a magical relic.”

Salazar’s gaze hardened. “Symbols like swords and petty gallantry are for the weak, Merlin. Power and bloodline are what truly matter. If Camelot is to be saved, it must be by the hands of those who are worthy. The forest recognizes this imbalance and acts to correct it.”

Morgana stepped forward, her eyes blazing. “And what of the innocents, Salazar? The children and families who have nothing to do with this so-called imbalance? Are they forced to suffer because of something they cannot control?”

Salazar’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Innocents always suffer in the great cosmic balance, Morgana. It is the way of the world.”

OK, so I remembered the show Blazing Dragons, which was this cute little cartoon about anthro dragons (and a few humans, plus other fantasy creatures) who basically had the roles of King Arthur and his knights, but in parody; they have a Square Table (instead of the Round Table), the sword Excaliburn (instead of Excalibur), and like Sir Lounge-a-Lot (instead of Lancelot). I could recall certain episodes and characters, but I was having trouble remembering the theme song, so I found a video and watched it with the sub-titles (because reading plus hearing it helps it form in my mind better), and... pfff, OK, I have to explain this part first; one character, Sir Blaze? He was always like, SUPER gay. I mean, he was "90s kids cartoon gay", so he was very effeminate and stylish (not quite as mockingly as you might think, he was also kinda "cool" too), but yeah. He was gay. So now I'm watching the opening theme with sub-titles, and this part-

He WINKS at the audience while singing the line "We're straight" (the rest of the verse "and true and good and kind" is spoken by the other characters, but it all goes by very quickly). Just. Haha, yeah, we're "straight" *wink*. I don't know how intentional that is by the people working on it at the time, but that is AMAZING. I miss you gay dragon knight. I hope you got a gay dragon boyfriend

A face emerged from the writhing mass of rat bodies in front of him, a pale white apparition with lidless crimson eyes that bled the sclera scarlet, pale pink lips pulling back to reveal rows and rows of jagged teeth.  “Now, now,” the demon infesting the rats purred, “is that any way to greet a friend?”  Pain exploded over Nemesis’s calf, a harder, fiercer force than all the rest, like enamel tearing straight through his skin to his muscle, and slicing that too. He disappeared beneath the surface of the tide, a million rodents writhing all around him, dragging Nemesis down into the dark.

“Nemesis,” Judge snarled behind him, but beyond all his anger, Nemesis could sense the fear in him too. Horror and agony and confusion—the final destination of any beast backed into the corner of a cage. “Nemesis—wait—”  His voice cut off into a roar of anguish as the demon prowling around him lunged again, the air bloating with the scent of fresh spilled blood. Nemesis heard flesh tear, bones crack and shatter. Nemesis heard Judge scream, all that agony becoming unbearable.

“I know.” The demon smirked. “I know you’re not. But how’s this instead? We make an old-fashioned kinda deal. Something simple, the kind we shake hands on, nothing more.” Nemesis paused halfway through wrangling off his other boot to hurl at the demon’s head. Suspicion snarled up his spine, but something stopped it stupidly in its tracks. Not hope. Nemesis wasn’t stupid enough anymore to cling onto something as reckless and deadly as that. But something. Intuition, maybe. Curiosity, fanged and sharp. He lifted his right hand, twitching his fingers. Excalibur soared free of the blazing inferno that had become the barn at his back.  By the time Nemesis caught it, the holy blade was a pendant again. He dragged the chain back around his neck, ruffled his sweaty, grimy hair, and said, “and what’s that? You know, most demons don’t exactly have hands to shake with.”

“You say that, but you’re the demon who had us wait three hours while they made two hundred burgers to satisfy your appetite,” Nemesis growled as he crawled over the baking leather of the backseat and stuck his head through the middle console. “You sure you aren’t just gonna puke it up by the time we get to the Mirage?”  “I think I have a far better handle on my stomach than you, little witch,” Judge purred, catching Nemesis’s chin with his claws and leaning in close. “Appreciate your concern though. This diet of junk food and jackasses ain’t exactly my style.”

Do you happen to know which characters are left for jakks to make figures of? I was very delightfully surprised by Neo Metal and heavy king, and am now holding out hope for an Excalibur Sonic and the Werehog. Really, really hoping for that, they are my goats and I always got so sad that I saw them so often at toys r us but couldn't get them because we were and still r poor ✌️ got that goat jazwares werehog plush tho

well its kinda hard to say what the obvious picks are for more figures when they've already made figures of all the obvious picks and are getting increasingly more obscure with the character choices. wave and storm feel obvious since they've already made one of jet. and the rest of the hard boiled heavies that don't have figures yet. maybe bean and bark since isnt there a fang figure now. but fang probably only got one since hes relevant to recent games which can't be said for bean or bark so idk. also emerl is suddenly relevant again too so maybe it would be a good time to make a figure of him. maria too but they don't really do merch of human characters aside from eggman so that feels very unlikely . a sage figure would also be really cool. doesnt feel too unlikely because shes relevant to a recent game And shes like the only non eggman humanoid character who gets merch.. also zavok should probably be added to the lineup at some point if theyre going for as many characters as possible but that would also be a very unpopular choice so idk

transformations are also probably on the table since super sonic shadow and silver got figures. i think the most likely to get one is werehog since hes one of the more well known ones. other than him though maybe burning blaze to go with the super forms? and excalibur sonic and darkspine sonic would be pretty cool . and shadow with his black arms wings
