⠀݃⠀ ✣ ⠀۪⠀ ⠀VELVETINE is a fictional girl group formed and managed by SUPERBLOOM MEDIA under the creative direction of soloist Kim Yuchan in 2021. This would be Yuchan's first venture since joining Superbloom's Board of Directors and all eyes would be on Velvetine considering his fame. The trainees would be introduced through the documentary series THE GIBSON GIRL PROJECT, where they were selected through monthly evaluations over the course of ten months. Originally, Velvetine was supposed to debut with TEN members, however, four trainees would "leave" Superbloom just before debut under mysterious circumstances. The final lineup would be composed of six members: LIYA, COELLA, GENESIS, MIARI, YUEL, and NOA.

⠀݃⠀ ✣ ⠀۪⠀ THE GIBSON GIRL PROJECT was named after Charles Dana Gibson artistic personification of the Gibson Girl—or the feminine ideal of physical attractiveness during the 20th century. They chose this name to highlight Velvetine's future concept, which is often labeled as classic or fragile, and used it to describe the perfect trainee that would debut as a member of this group. Through the documentary series, the original thirty-trainees would be placed into THREE tiers based on their skill level and the highest ranking trainee each month would be chosen for the debut lineup. The process began with COELLA being chosen first and ended with GENESIS, though BLAIR, EVA, MARI, and KYRIE would rank highly compared to the members that actually debuted. On December 21, 2020, Superbloom Media would confirm that the four girls would "go their separate ways" with the company, however, many of their family members have stated that they have not seen their daughters since 2019 and MARI'S family filed a missing persons report in late 2023.

Since then, many have described VELVETINE themselves unapproachable, often seen keeping to themselves at award shows and not having any idol friends outside of each other, and have ritualistic tendencies, making them prime targets for video essays and think pieces on the idol industry.

As the winners of the season, they were given a permanent contract with Superbloom Media, who would replace Dreamus Company as the new distributor. BELLADONNA would be formed in the first round of the competition and remain together for the entire duration, consistently beating any group that they went against by a significant margin. Their cover of U-GO-GIRL by first generation icon Lee Hyori would go viral in South Korea for their stage presence and new take on the song, projecting them into first place and leaving the other groups to fight for second. As the most watched season of Superband, with 4.6% viewership for the finale alone, many are looking forward to BELLADONNA's debut and are excited to see what they bring to the table.

Before this, they were known as THE BIG GLOOM and were formed by four high school students that primarily busked and struggled to get their music out there through YouTube and SoundCloud. In late 2015, their third single FOLKTALE gained much attention from the underground indie scene. Looking for something new and exciting for their artist roster, they were scouted by Superbloom Media's CEO Shin Yeonghui personally. Due to internal conflicts, only lead singer SALEM signed with the company and under her direction she chose the first generation of Plastic Flowers members. This line-up was composed of SALEM, DAL, JIHUN, and GWYN. They would only release three singles before the band was placed on an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2016 due to the company's financial struggles.

The band would remain with the same line-up until internal conflicts caused Minghui to leave the band and an unconfirmed hiatus that would last a year and a half. They would return with TEETH and new member DEURIM, creating the beloved line-up known today.

𝄞 𓂃 𖦹✮ ——⠀SOCIAL SUICIDE is a three piece girl group that debuted under doellette media on november 23 in 2018 , also being the first musical act to debut under the main company since the disbandment of their sister group blacklisted in 2014 . the main aim of the group was to ‘ turn the industry on it’s head ’ , just as their predecessors had done . this goal was then established with the release of their debut ep luxury goods . in order to give the group more exposure , doellette would make the lineup consist of their most popular models , as well as former blacklisted member prim . this would prove to be a detrimental move , however , as the release of their debut album would be met with backlash from the general public due to the majority of member’s lack of talent .

this backlash would then be met with the addition of youngest member aaliyah , who was previously part of the rnb duo darling mine until her removal in 2017 . not only this , but ida also made sure to assure the public that vocal lessons had become a priority , and there would be noticeable improvement in the release of their next album . however , it would take a full year for the album to be released , and by then the hype for social suicide had died down significantly . so , in order to bring back attention the girls and get traction going once more , came a series of pr stunts and scandals . most notably , nana’s homewrecker scandal – which , to this day , is still unknown whether or not it was true or false . the rumours blew so large and out of proportion that it appeared minji would have to leave the group , but in a turn of events aaliyah announced she had officially terminated her contract with doellette .

soon after aaliyah’s departure came the release of their third album , soon followed by a hiatus . during this period of time , bae would model and release snippets of solo music , before her eventual solo debut mid - 2020 cemented her position as the most popular , as well as the most liked , member . her collaboration with aliyah on the album , which was titled an ode to odette , also garnered a lot of attention , finally bringing some positive publicity to social suicide’s otherwise turbulent career . as of 2021 , the group has gone back to making semi - regular releases and have managed to establish as large and steady , loyal fanbase .

HEYDAY⠀⠀...⠀⠀⠀⠀are a five piece k-indie band that originally debuted on march 27 in 2016 under MEDIA MAYHEM in 2017 . the band would leave the company not even a month later after having their contracts forcibly terminated . while it is still unknown exactly why the group were forced to leave the company , it is assumed it had something to do with an incident involving the band’s female counterparts MAYDAY .

the current lineup consists of iseul , elias , gyujin , jihe and everett , with the band having made their re - debut on september 21 , 2021 under doellette after the acquisition of contracts the year prior . while originally the public were skeptical of their return to the music scene , public opinion seemed to be swayed after the release of SINK YOUR TEETH , their first release under the new company . shortly after sink your teeth’s release it was announced jihe would be going on hiatus after an overdose .

while he was on hiatus , the band once more came under fire for the member’s supposed drug use , before he himself had to issue an apology stating it was an accidental overdose on prescription medication . the hiatus would be short lived , however , as he would return not even two months later for the band’s release SHATTERED . while the group’s reputation is strained , leading to a decline in popularity compared to when they first emerged , heyday still manage to maintain a strong , steady fanbase – although it had been reported any and all new releases and comebacks are funded by the members themselves , as doellette seemingly views them a ‘waste of funds’ .

EVERETT. the group is well known as “txt’s brother group”, but never quite reached the same success. originally debuting with two additional members – LEE and ELLIE, who would depart only three days after debut – chronos seven, also referred to as CROSS, would release their debut single ICE AGE exactly one week after txt.

the boys are well known for being self-produced, as hybe put them on the backburner after their initial hype died. every now and then a release of theirs goes viral, with their most notable releases being TURN BACK TIME and FANTASIA. their sound is nothing short of unique, with the group being acclaimed for following their own trends instead of focusing on becoming mainstream. this has, however, caused a rift between the group and potential listeners.
