‼️ //🥀OOC🥀// ‼️
Hey guys, I hope all is well!..
Recently, I’ve been talking to some admins, and they expressed an oddly similar discomforting/uncomfy feeling about @//an-honest-endeavor’s posts that many others have been experiencing as well, including me.
Tumblr media
Please, please, don’t go after the endeavor blog, or any blog that associates with him. This is just a simple explanation on why me and many other MHA rp accounts will not be communicating with him any longer. This is not a call-out post, and no one will be discriminated against if they’re close with the endeavor blog.
—————
1. Sudden flirty/ooc comments that is confirmed to me that the admins felt a little uncomfortable, but kept in character anyway to not upset the Endeavor blog
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The anonymous admins for the Chrono and Overhaul blogs explained to me how they felt pressured into answering Endeavor’s reblogs. I understand where they’re coming from- especially the SS’s on Overhaul’s end where Endeavor gets agitated in the first 2 images- and immediately switch up in the 3rd SS where Endeavor tags Overhaul in a separate post. On Chrono’s end, the admin also felt stuck when responding. Yes, they could have completely ignored him- but there are people pleasers that have a hard time saying ‘no’ to others (*cough* I’m one of those people *cough*)
2. Denying endeavor’s actions that caused trauma to Dabi/Touya
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We all are aware of Endeavor trying to atone his abusive ways towards his family from his past in the anime/manga, but the damage has been done and obviously it isn’t forgivable. The admin behind the Yumiko (OC) blog pointed these comments out from endeavor and it got me- very puzzled. The whole reason behind Touya being Dabi is mainly because of Endeavor’s abusiveness and parental neglect. The Yumiko admin expressed to me how stressed out they became when the admin behind endeavor went defensive, which I’m still very puzzled about because Yumiko wasn’t wrong about how parents could give their children psychological issues/trauma that weighs on their shoulders throughout growing up? Look at Natsuo, he wants nothing to do with Endeavor and refuses to forgive him despite him changing. If I was in the Todoroki’s shoes, I wouldn’t have forgave him either- honestly I’m with Natsuo on this one 😭
What baffled me the most is that the endeavor admin assumed yumiko’s admin was saying that all people with mental illnesses become serial killers..??? That isn’t what they were trying to say at all?? When I looked at the post myself, that just drew the line for me.
HONORABLE MENTION: #stopharassingdabi
Tumblr media
My bestie that runs one of the Dabi blogs just showed me this SS of one of endeavor’s questions he sent to their inbox a while ago- They have more but they only wanted me to show this one.. This is not a good apology to your son, endeavor 😔
—————
I am not hating on Endeavor enjoyers, that’s absolutely not the case here. This person has made a good number of us rp-blog enjoyers very uncomfortable, so we decided to close contact with the account.
I’m not quite sure on how to end this off— All I’ll say is that if something or someone makes you uncomfortable, put your foot down and speak up. No one deserves to be put in a distressing situation. Thank you. ❤️

Hey Silly (can I call you that from now on?) it's been a while! How you doing?
I saw your prompt list and I just thought why not? So, the character I'm choosing is Father from C:KND (obviously). The tropes would be; #2,#5,#8
Just y'know, angst :>
Prompts 2, 5, and 8 with Father
woo yeah its been a while since we've touched the tropes list! and yes you may keep calling me silly, or admin! or admin silly when addressing me on this blog! I uh.. never gave an intro for myself and ive kind of stuck with the silly/admin name since people started using it for me LMAO prompts: sick, hanahaki, mutual pining notes: reader is gn, all prompts are treated as separate scenarios but hindsight is 20/20 as i realize these would have been fire paired up together as one connected thing cws: sickness and general hanahaki stuff
Tumblr media
SICK
i might make a post where the roles are reversed, buuuut
i think, benedict is the grumpy kind of sick
but to be fair when is he not at least a little grumpy/j
will stay in bed so at least you dont have to worry about fighting him to rest- he already feels crummy and besides he can afford taking some time to himself to just.. lay down
a little snippier than usual
assuming his natural body heat doesnt kill off or hinder anything that can make him sick, hes running even warmer than usual.. something something warmer bodies being able to slow down infections + from my understanding a fever is just the body attempting to fight an infection
so logically it makes sense that hes burning hot
not very clingy when sick nor does he go out of his way to crawl out of bed to seek you out
HANAHAKI
okay hear me out: hes the one with hanahaki. as much as i think he would move forward with asking you out, i also enjoy the idea that he tends to self isolate. something something mini character analysis/heavy hc that he swallows up a lot of his more vulnerable feelings and/or translates them into anger something something a lot of that being a product of upbringing something something i am grandfathers number 1 hater
burns the flowers and petals before anyone can ask about them, however i do think as the sickness progresses he slowly loses his powers. quite literally sapping him of his energy
honestly i can see him going through the surgery route just to get rid of the plants
no happy ending here, sadly... even worse if you actually had feelings for him as well, unaware to him
becomes more snappy with the people around him, lashing out from worrying over the sickness as well as the pains (emotional and physical)
MUTUAL PINING
that said if he has feelings for you that dont make him cough up flowers, i think hes more inclined to ask you out since it makes it feel less... "life threatening" and "subtly begging for his life if we're going the route where feelings need to be returned otherwise the person dies"
i do think hes at least a little oblivious, at least in the beginning and if youre not being blunt- his mind is always working on what evil deed to do next!
very receptive when he does realize youre flirting with him, it doesnt take long for the two of you to go on a date
dont let this think that he has rizz, by the way. hes still inexperienced but he has just enough confidence to... (scrambles with papers) lock in, becomes clear with time that he hardly knows what hes doing LMAO
leaves gifts for you leading up to the two of you going out, and they tend to be higher quality or even a baked good hes overheard you mention enjoying

this is such a contrast to my last confession but erm
honestly, wish my yfm phase ended like idk, around the same time most people's yfm phase ended (which was around idfk mid 2023?) cause now its a pretty dead fandom (shoutout to that one twt oomf of mine who let me ramble about yfm to them, ily dude/p) with the possibility of ray cancelling yfm 50/50. i do hope i don't sound like im begging that guy to release songs everyday but my point is, idk man, kinda miss tht kinda short-lasted hype around yfm in 2022-early 2023. like i was so excited because i discovered this dumbass (/lh) band in like 2021 and i was so sad it was retired because i loved their songs so only god could describe my excitement when june 1 came, and to be honest, dont wanna sound like a bitch but some of their gen 2 songs disappointed me but i was happy otherwise. and the talent this fandom has like GOD YOU ALL ARE SO TALENTED (except for some of you, you know what im talking about). i dont even know why it hasn't ended yet, perhaps because yfmblr has cool shit and some of the "lore" you guys found out about puff and your hcs and all made me go "he kinda just like me ??" that and i gotta talk about ray's content too. like yeah, welcome to part 10 of "wow smth i liked is now bad! fuck me!" dude, that guy has sm potential in comedy, loved his old shorts and videos. like who tf told that guy to, idk, make those types of crime videos ??? like im serious, where and how. HE'S EVEN COLLABORATING WITH DHAR MANN GOD HAS TO BE KIDDIGN MEEEE. ray please do you need some life-changing video to convince you to do those shorts again. because i can do it bro please i miss the silly shorts. like does he not realize how his views dropped or how most of us dont like the new content or?? like what prompted this man to do these crime videos with shit ai art anyways thanks for listening to my rant, you, yfm-confessions and featheredcartoonist are my favs on yfmblr, and one of my favs on tumblr. i feel like you guys bring that old feeling of the hellyeahyourfavoritemartian blog :3 i didn't have tumblr that early to read them but based off the wayback machine, it looked really cool and fun actually. like ray noticed it whay the hell. anyways wish both of the admins a great day ! take care <3 - ❄️🎀
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!!! i still have a lot of faith in things turning around cuz thats just me being me. if theres a dead fandom, its chance of resurgence is running on my hope LMAO
HONESTLY THE YFM FANDOM KINDA COMES ALIVE AGAIN WITH EVERY NEW SONG THAT'S RELEASED.
AND YEAH. I TRULY GENUINELY HOLE RAY OPENS HIS EYES AND REALIZES THAT COMEDY IS WHAT HE DOES BEST AND WHAT EVERYONE ENJOYS!!!!
also feathered cartoonist whos that

jcink rper here - i read your callout. it paints you in a bad light, honestly, the whole thing comes off as friends having a falling out and you airing dms that should have stayed private. towards the end it was clear you were writing your messages for the benefit of an audience, because you knew you were going to screenshot that convo to hell and back. so you ran this person out of your community, fine. can't you give a person room to grow and change? if you don't like or trust them, just block them and move on.
this ask is in reference to this post
meant to answer this sooner but i went to bed and then i was out all day. if this was a falling out ONLY there would not be at least 20 people she has affected. when i wrote that doc i was really pissed off and petty, as a lot of us were but i had many people come to me with similar experiences which i think is telling. they can come forward and share theirs in their own posts or the replies on this one but i also respect if they don't want to out themselves to possibly be harassed or to have to rehash their traumas. this is my experience and i'm not going to share others without permission. if i sounded like a whiney little bitch in my doc or my screenshots then whatever. i was valid in my feelings. i'm always here to give a person room to grow and change but how can you grow and change from something you won't acknowledge ?? growing and changing would mean apologizing and acknowledging your wrongs because that shows evolution of character. i never asked for castor to get death threats, i never wished ill upon her but running away instead of owning up to the bad shit you did is not showing any type of character development. we are all in this community to literally write characters and it seems like most of us can understand that in that context but not in the context of us interacting with each other out of character. as for me wanting an audience, i don't know where you got that from. when i approached castor initially about how she was acting i had already spoken to several people who felt the same. that she inserting herself where she didn't belong and being very hyper-focused on only things that would benefit her or give her attention on top of the insurmountable attention she already got from her followers, members of her servers and the people who paid to access her content. i have like 40 followers on this blog because it's a newer one. anyone that knows me knows i usually make a whole new blog every 1-2 years because it inevitably gets cluttered. i couldn't give less of a damn about followers or any type of audience. i reblog musings and character shit here, thats pretty much it. as for me taking a shitload of screenshots ?? absolutely i do. i've been in this community for 10+ years. i need to be able to back myself up and compile evidence if needed. that's not a crime. i've ran rps, i've adminned, i've modded, i've had people stalk me, share my personal information and turn people on me for no reason other than me cutting them for my own mental health and wellbeing. i've never wished them ill, i've usually left the door open for apologies or for genuine asks for help. i was friends with castor for like two years and we talked every day, she wasn't like this when i met her but that's how it always is when you meet people. they usually seem fine but when you get to know them and they start to get comfortable around you they start to show their true colors. vetting everyone you meet shouldn't have to be a trait that's ingrained into you and it wasn't so thats why i didn't vet her when i met her. again, i shouldn't have to. we should believe we can give people the benefit of the doubt to not be horrible but clearly we cannot.
this was longer than i meant for it to be but i could just block her and move on but i feel like if i can try to shield people in any way from her behavior, then, i should. so again, this is simply a warning. everyone can do whatever they want, i'm not telling anyone what to do. it's only advice.
this ask and one more will be all i'll be posting in the tags regarding this because i won't want to clutter the tags with it.

what’s your opinion on aurorabayrpg?
oh boyyyyyyy
please be advised this is my OPINION
so let me start off by saying i forgot if i joined in the past, so i was waiting to have time to attempt to join. i want to show a screenshot of this ask that perfectly displays the date i received this so the muns cannot act as though i set up the group or were targeting them by sending myself this ask, or whatever else they may say cause idk them, they seem catty asf when called out (you'll see in the screenshots) and wanna cover my bum because i know one of their muns will probably see this - show it to them, and then it'll be a thing~ so...
Tumblr media
i started to look around the rp. around the time i got this anon, it seems they were struggling with diversity... and weren't nice with their responses, nor did they make any sense?
Tumblr media
^i mean.... *slow clap* way to respond to an anon trying to voice a problem with GLOATING about your initial app count (almost all white).
Tumblr media
^fun, it gets better. so.... like.... what? no one is forcing anyone? if someone doesn't want to be a diverse fc, they just wouldn't apply for a second character rather than a third, if they were to tweak it to the second chara rather than the third? it's almost like they're coming up with an excuse for having their rp being white-focused. As it is, the admins brought in mostly white fcs; admin bex having brought in two white fcs (maya hawke & elizabeth gillies) before finally bringing in an aisha dee character (2/3 of their charas WHITE), admin dani has natasha liu bordizzo, daisy edgar jones, florence pugh, chase sui wonders, olivia cooke (3/5 of her characters WHITE), admin kell has zendaya, samantha logan, madelyn cline, axel auriant, tom holland, timothee chalamet (4/6 of their characters are WHITE). altogether, 9/14 admin characters are WHITE - only 5/14 are PoC... way to set the tone for your own group, and then having the AUDACITY to tell an anon you're looking forward to seeing who THEY'D add to YOUR diversity? uhhhhh maybe you should do that yourself and show people you're for diversity? lmfaoooooo diversity isn't solely on your players... but, then again - they obviously don't care judging by their response. "invisible quota" damnnnn the privilege is strrrooonngggg. i didn't even check all the players' characters cause i feel as though i'd only be more angry/upset; but just by judging off of the admin stats - the players are probably at the same rate... i did only get 3/4 of the way down the females list and it's mostly white fcs... so.....
Tumblr media
^ like.... YIKES. shoulda just let the top admin talk, cause the second addition is just.... distasteful? uncalled for? hm.
so, if you search their blog they get asks about the group being cliquey or not kinda frequently. i think more than they post tbh cause they're a bigger group. uh, i attempted to join today to see if that were true (even was gonna take up a wc to see if it would help me), and they're really strict on occupations, alone? like... kinda bizarre but they have a set occupations list, you can only apply as one of those or you have to run the occupation by the admin staff if it's not 'vague' enough? weird. controlling, even.
Tumblr media
^i, in fact, did NOT understand. there's more to an aquarium than keepers..... idk, the admin team just screamed snarky and controlling at this point, so i didn't join and just decided to put this out there as an honest opinion on my part. ALSO - controlling that you need to change your name/alias to join the group if someone else shares a name with you :) LOVE being told I have to CHANGE MY NAME. LMFAOOOO TF?
also, just as a note: they spam the rp tags. their 2 months of running as a group was back in MARCH and they're still using 'new rp' as a tag... lmfao - y'all have 40 muns, open for over 3 months now, and STILL calling yourselves NEW? you're established at this point. also, their promos clog up the tags - i just had to block their promo blog cause it was all i could see.
BOTTOM LINE:
no care for diversity
rude/catty admins
lack of creative freedom for writers
basically a spam blog
*please note that this is all my opinion based on interactions i've had and from what i've seen. this opinion does not give anyone the right/nor does it ask of anyone to send hate

Dear Everyone,
Tumblr media
The Phantomhive Manor once again apologizes for the period of long silence that has lasted about a year. We had some run-ins with old... friends, which took quite a long time. Their resurrections by this ‘blog’ is still interesting, even though things relatively do not seem to burn down. After we settled that, the Funtom Corporation’s record-breaking Christmas profits had to be attended to for a while. As my young master is the owner, he was very busy talking business and planning new toys, confections, and even cosmetics. There was also another incident with the furnace, though that was brief, thankfully. We were left with a lot of paperwork after securing deals and product chains, and then the Queen also called my young master and I away after all that chaos. However, we hope to please, as the young master and I have decided to once again throw open the metaphorical gates and call for mail once again from the British public! We realized some letters over 5 years old had senders that were dead, however, so your very tea-stained and old mail may have been discarded. You are always welcome to try again under a living address... though you may incur the reaper’s wrath. Thank you once again for supporting our young master, and we hope to receive your letters in earnest once more.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support of the Phantomhive Manor and Funtom Corporation.
~ Sebastian Michaelis, butler to Ciel Phantomhive, of the Phantomhive Manor

I don't necessarily disagree with your take about mcc's ace race but I think it's just not true saying the only reason dteam is still in is the popularity. mcc people like these people!! people like to team with the dteam and have fun when they do! it is not that weird to be upset when you think youve won and then you didn't. sapnap did not complain much at all.
I think people who complain about funneling in dodgebolt (and do so in chat!) are whiny too but I not gonna make a post about it saying that mcc needs to have an intervention??
also some genuine advice do not let twitter drama affect your mcc experience.
hi!! okay this is the kind of opposing opinion i can work with, thank you anon! i respect and genuinely appreciate your response here, and i’ll take this opportunity to further clarify some things.
to your first point—you’re right! they’re not ONLY here because of their fans and it was wrong of me to make that exaggerated assumption in my post. that’s on me. i try very hard not to assume anything about ccs personal friendships or relationships with one another, and i’m sorry i did that there. HOWEVER, i feel as though i am still warranted in being upset with dream and sapnap specifically for their conduct about the ace race decision and other things in the event. for instance, the streamer i was watching was smallishbeans, who got sixth in the first run and dropped ten places in the redo. he was not in favor of a redo but acknowledged it would be the most fair thing to do. he was upset at his score drop, but never once did he argue directly with noxcrew’s choice, MUCH less in the in-game chat. because he’s an adult with manners. being upset because you got a lower score in the redo of the game is completely understandable and that’s not what i’m frustrated about. my frustrations stem from the fact that dream continues challenging and being snarky with the admins in chat when he is not and never has been in the position to make these decisions for an event. nobody else does this. everyone else is simply frustrated and moves on. nobody else feels the need to be an asshole like dream does. now, i cannot remember what sapnap did during ace race in particular, my issue is decidedly more with his behavior about build mart, but my point stands with him as well. he constantly spams messages against build mart to the point where the bit has completely run dry and it’s genuinely annoying to me. people don’t constantly reply to mcc tweets asking them to remove battle box even though it’s a few participants’ least favorite game and that’s because those participants aren’t fucking obnoxious about it. both of them need to grow the fuck up and learn how to talk to people normally.
2) funneling. i admittedly have a bit of bias here because i think funneling is fucking stupid (what a shocker, i doubt you could have gleaned that from anything i’ve ever said on this blog lol), especially with what the yellow yaks did. to me, it makes the event predictable and shows a lack of faith in your team and the fact that dream does it every fucking event no matter who he’s with gets boring as hell. the other participants seem to share my belief and it’s literally not fun to watch if they have such poor sportsmanship they can’t handle giving someone else an arrow for ten seconds, especially if those people are BADBOYHALO AND SKEPPY, WHO ARE NOT BAD SHOTS BY ANY MEANS. i don’t recall anyone saying bad things about funneling in chat, but i wasn’t fully watching dodgebolt this time, so there could have been some comments. regardless, as i’ve said before, it’s not poor sportsmanship to voice annoyances about the event. the difference between frustration and targeting hate is both patterned behavior and direct challenging, both of which dream and sapnap have done. fruitberries thinks funneling is stupid and i know this because he said it on stream. you know what i didn’t do? send hate to dream about it on twitter. i didn’t even mention funneling in my first post even though i dislike it. i wanted to focus solely on direct disrespect. while i can see your point about supposed bad sportsmanship from anti-funneling participants, i posit that it doesn’t have the same horrid effects that dream’s comments do at all.
3) this is some great advice, seriously! i know that some people do struggle with this and it’s truly something to keep in mind. however, twitter drama is not ruining my mcc experience—the behavior of these actual participants is. i have had multiple people in the last 24 hours tell me that they cannot watch mcc anymore because they know the dteam will throw a fit and it’ll be horrible to watch. if this was just twitter drama, i would filter it and move on. but because it is literal, actual behavior from literal, actual participants during the literal, actual event, there is no way i can avoid it. it’s exhausting and the worst constant of mcc. things can and should change, whether that’s a shape up in behavior or a removal.

I love your Klaine CC Fic awards, but I think the way you handle the nominations and voting is a a little unfair. You have to get so many nominations even to be placed on the ballot, which means so many really deserving writers and fics get one or two nominations and don't make the ballot. Maybe next time try doing a double vote, the first time with every nominees, and then with the top three votes in every category. This gives lesser known artist just as much of a chance as the better known one
We're not sure if you're aware, but running the awards is a lot of work. To add an additional voting round? There are tens of thousands of Klaine and CC fics out there. Even if you include a voting round for fics that get one or two nominations, it’s never going to include all the *deserving* fics. It would also take a lot of time to create surveys listing a lot of fics, then providing the posts with the hyperlinks.
As you know, there are a lot more people who vote in the final round than who nominate fics. Surely the answer is for more people to participate in nominating. We also don’t think that a nomination necessarily means there will be new readers, especially if the list is long. We have spoken with several authors who only received a few new readers/notes/kudos after being nominated. HKVoyage didn’t get any additional kudos or comments for Ghost Kitchen (nominated twice). This suggests that most people vote for the fics they have already read. Another thing we’ve noticed: Tumblr friends nominate each other’s fics. That's not really a bad thing because it reflects friendships formed. That's the best part about fandom. Friendships created.
The library blog represents what we enjoy reading. We believe we have a good blend of the popular fics and ones that are lesser known. There are other ways that authors can promote their fics, such as reblog on @todaydreambelieversfic blog, sign up for challenges (@the-lima-bean is running a Klaine 3-2-1 Prompt Bang, there's the yearly @klaineadvent, we run the KlaineCC Valentine's Challenge every February), get involved in the fandom, etc).
Basically, it’s introducing a layer of complication that we're not sure will get people reading new fics. Again, the key is get more people to nominate fics. It would take a lot of time to run an extra round that could include potentially hundreds of fics in each category. We are sorry, but we are all busy ladies and don’t have that kind of time. We are all working full time jobs and have families to care for. We do our best to share stories with fandom, both old, and new (sometimes new to us!). We try to keep up with the requests for stories during free moments. We hope you understand.
Thank you to all of the fanfic writers/artists, challenge creators and everyone who shares these works. Finally, as always, please leave kudos and a comment on the story you're reading. You'd be surprised how one sweet word can spur on a writer who's feeling down. Take a moment to send a message to any writer and make their day. XO
Take care of yourselves,
The Admins of the KlaineCCFanficLibrary

Sometimes people love a fandom and want to make edits for it but have multifandom blogs. I loved this blog so much and I'm really hurt to learn about how little you value anyone other than big name blogs. You're a big blog that created a system which only rewards fellow big blogs. You've made sure that small blogs and new gifmakers can't get their edits seen. Thank you for at least being transparent about your disdain for the rest of us though. I can respect the brutal honesty!
It’s a shame you feel that way, but as we said everyone can apply to the MDZS Network if they so wish. If you have 10 followers or 10k+, if you are multifandom or not, you can still apply to the network. We never said that multifandom blogs are not allowed to apply and be members, in fact a good portion of our members are multifandom blogs themselves.
We did not “create a system which only rewards fellow big blogs”, we created a network where we welcome every MDZS content creator into our community. Furthermore, we’d also like to add that not all of our members are “big name blogs”, we have a wide diversity of members, some who’ve been in this fandom way before The Untamed even aired and who’ve managed to grow over the months and years, others who’ve only just finished watching the show and joined the MDZS fandom recently and are relatively smaller. And, a lot of our members joined as small blogs but have grown because of the network and the community around it.
As we’ve pointed out in our reply to a previous anon (whether it was you or not, we will give you the benefit of the doubt), applications are currently open and as long as you are creating or will create content for MDZS regularly, you are more than welcome to join. It is nowhere stated in our rules that we only accept blogs that are “fellow big blogs”, or that new content creators are banned from joining.
For the record, we also want to put it out there that #mdzsnet is not the only tag used for MDZS content. There’s a plethora of tags out there you can use to tag your content with to get exposure. We are not the only way in this fandom through which content creators can get their content reblogged, and neither do we police the other tags out there. We are a team of three running a blog with over 70+ members, all the while having our own lives. This is not our full time job.
Fundamentally, we are a network and not an open source blog. We chose to keep our tag closed for our members to use because we want to encourage people to apply and join as a member. We want people to join our community, to share their knowledge, and to grow. That you’re misinterpreting our intentions, twisting our explanations, and painting an image of us as a closed and exclusive society for only creators who are already well established, is severely off the mark and a clear indication that perhaps you don’t quite understand the purpose of a network.
Simply put, if you’re just looking for an amplifier for you to get your content out, which is what open source blogs are, then you’ve come to the wrong place. We are not stopping you from creating an MDZS source blog if you feel so much disdain with the way we run our network.
We hope you’re having a nice day nonetheless, anon!

DA Fandom and moving forward - Calling In vs. Calling Out
Hi everyone,
As a PoC member of the DA fandom, I felt I have been quiet for long enough on the issues that have been presented recently. I am not here to argue against or on behalf of any individual or group, I am only here to present some information that I hope will be helpful moving forward. This is a long post, but it’s my hope that if you read it and want to help contribute to making this place better for everyone, then you will be willing to try to put what is said here into practice.
Since I am a relatively small blog, I wanted to start with a little personal introduction that will segue into the topic at hand. My name is Liz (you can call me Jade too, that’s part of my middle name), and I am a mixed race, “ambiguously brown”, aspec person from Canada. I grew up around mostly other immigrant families, attended predominantly non-white schools that were run by mostly white admins, and completed my degrees at a very white university in a field that does not have much racial diversity. I have experienced racism first-hand many times including, but not limited to, name-calling/slurs, fetishization/exotification, being followed by staff, people second-guessing my name, jokes about hurting/killing people of my race, etc. as well as witnessing racism directed at my friends and peers. I know exactly what it’s like to be exhausted and feel unsafe or othered.  There is, however, one thing I need to point out about the multitude of instances of racism I’ve experienced - most of them were caused by ignorance, and not malice. Yes there are absolute assholes out there, but personally I can count those people I’ve encountered on one hand (I am not speaking for everyone, though). The vast majority of racism, bigotry and general harmful acts come from a place of ignorance, particularly on left-leaning tumblr (to clarify, this discussion is centered around well-meaning people and not the actual lost causes). When I say ignorance, I don’t mean a lack of education or intelligence, I mean not being able to see or understand an issue from another person’s perspective. It’s not quite the same as empathy either (where empathy means you are able to feel another person’s emotions), but fighting ignorance does require empathy. It also requires knowledge on the context of the specific situation, and that I believe is the crux of the problem.  I think the main reason why this is issue is particularly prevalent in the DA fandom is a result of the too-close-to-reality-to-ignore inspirations that have been confirmed by the devs. Yes, it’s fiction, but there are also a lot of people that see themselves (mis)represented in the themes and characters. And what one person sees as disrespectful, another person may not see at all. This can come full circle, too, for example: one person sees themselves and their trauma represented in a character, another person sees their race misrepresented in the same character. Person 1 uses the character as a comfort character or coping strategy. Person 2 thinks using that character in certain situations is disrespectful. Neither one sees the other’s perspective.  This is where intersectionality starts to come into play, and requires empathy and effort to address the intentions and emotions of the other person. Perhaps person 1 is LGBTQ+ and has been traumatized by being as such, and uses Dorian as a character to explore their trauma. Perhaps person 2 is Brown, and racism towards their people is their trigger, and thinks person 1 did not do Brown representation justice in their creative works.  Looking at this more specifically, person 1 may have put Dorian in sexual situations. Person 2 feels that the way it was conveyed was fetishist or exotified. Person 2 doesn’t know person 1′s intentions. Person 1 is not aware of certain descriptions that are racist (e.g. using food to describe a PoC’s skin tone). Perhaps person 1 was self-inserting and wanted to feel desirable on their own terms, but this gave person 2 that squick factor.  Now person 2 wants to address this issue, and I think this is where a call-in (not a call-out) would be appropriate. Here is a good infographic that compares the two:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Original source)
Note that there is quite a large difference in the language used. Going back to the above example, person 2 could privately message person 1 asking them why they chose to represent Dorian the way they did, with specific examples, and using call-in language (and I’m going to get back to this in a minute).
The point of this post and infographic isn’t meant to tell marginalized groups how they should be bringing up issues (though it is a good guide if you are concerned about being polite, particularly to a first time offender), it’s intended to demonstrate to people unintentionally participating in harmful behaviour what a call-out vs. call-in looks like. For PoC and other marginalized groups, yes it does take emotional labour to use call-in language and to try to understand someone that wounded you (here is a good read that incorporates the concept of emotional labour for call-ins, and discusses asking yourself if you are ready to do so). For the people who have unintentionally hurt a marginalized individual or group, please understand that someone calling you in is not an attack, it’s a chance to explain why you expressed something the way you did.
That being said, we may have reached another hurdle. What if you call someone in, and the person called in does not want to discuss the fact that they were inserting their personal trauma? I think this is where things start to get a bit messy, but I am of the opinion that if you’ve unintentionally triggered someone else’s trauma through ignorance present in your work, you owe it to them to at the very least mention that you were inserting your trauma, without having to bring up specifics (anyone is allowed to set boundaries). From there, the discussion can be hopefully be opened up to learning from each other, and reaching a consensus. Sometimes that consensus requires the creator to edit or remove their work. As an addendum, if you are a creator that unintentionally hurt someone with your work that didn’t have an ulterior personal motivation, it’s your responsibility to understand why what you did was wrong, apologize, remove the work and do better next time. I know some people cherish their OCs, but you are allowed to change your perspective and make adjustments to your character without erasing them entirely. Now we’ve reached another potential obstacle - what if an offender doesn’t respond to your call-in? First of all, ask yourself, did you actually call them in, or did you attack them? Here is a good opinion piece from a Black professor on this matter. I’d like to clarify that I am not trying to tone police, I am speaking as someone that used to go ham on ignorant people on Facebook and Reddit, and has since changed their tactics and has even gotten through to Trump supporters (some of this stems from my spiritual growth as well, but that is not the point here).  There is another issue to address here now as well - what if you have tried, repeatedly, to call someone in and they just don’t change their behaviour? Alright, then it’s probably time to call them out. But again, ask yourself, did you truly try to get through to them? If so, well, at the end of the day, some people are, unfortunately, lost causes. In summary, a call-in is meant to come from a place of wanting to help someone who has seemingly gone astray, because you are worried about their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours towards a marginalized group. You know that if they made a mistake it isn’t them, isn’t their heart, and you want them to be able to understand why what they did hurt others, and give them the chance to correct themselves. It comes from a place of love and acceptance, because you don’t want your friends to harbour negative beliefs.  Finally, I want to give a real example of this in action. My cousin is a photographic artist, and was recently called in to discuss the nature of one of her pieces. Her subjects are usually people, and they come from a wide variety of backgrounds. To help support BLM (she does a lot of work to help fight racism in general), she auctioned off one of her pieces. The subject of the piece happened to be a Black woman. She was called in by Black members of her art community to discuss how people bidding on an art piece that featured a person from a marginalized group perpetuated the ogling and monetization of Black people. She gave a response that acknowledged that her piece did perpetuate this issue, because she wanted to raise awareness of this historical harm, and recognized that her intention was ignorant of this perspective. The Black community also acknowledged that the piece itself was not harmful in any way, only that the surrounding issue that they were painfully aware of needed to be brought to light. The auction went ahead, and the piece sold for ~$1000, all of which was donated to BLM.  I think as a fandom we should be cognizant of when a work itself is harmful, or when the intention is harmful. Sometimes they overlap, sometimes they don’t. Both are talking points, and we should not be afraid to discuss them, but this requires respect from all parties. We also do need to be able to recognize what is strictly fiction, versus what has real-world impacts. My askbox is always open and my DMs are open to mutuals if you would like anything clarified or expanded upon. Or, if you’d just like to discuss a topic, vent, or have any questions about my own beliefs, you are welcome to reach out. I am happy to discuss anything, as long as there is mutual respect.

Part I Part II Part III
warning: slight nsfw lol
It’s been almost two years and some months since you and Sawamura made your relationship official, and then about 9 months since he proposed to you. There has been a lot, and I mean a lot of adjustments you both had to make in order for this relationship to grow. A lot of arguing, crying, forgiving, and fucking your differences out. Both of you still have very deep wounds that have not completely healed, heck, maybe will never heal– that’s why you both always give your best, always putting in 100/0 effort.. Your parents love Sawamura, although they questioned why you would put 100/0 effort when something could happen.. afraid of what’s happened before, but they understood once you told them that you don’t expect anything back, you love him and that’s all that mattered– and he felt the exact same way.
0832 - Sunday morning
As the sun beamed through the blinds, you felt the warmth gradually increase onto your face. Looking to the other side of the bed, you saw him. The one man that made the pain of your late daughter, less painful.
“Good morning, my beautiful wife.” he quietly cooed
“Were you just watching me sleep?” a small chuckle left your lips as you sat up to stretch, bringing his shirt to lift over your stomach.
“As I do every morning, what can I say? I have the most beautiful woman sleeping next to me.”
“Yeah yeah, do you want coffee? I’m going to make myself some tea” you asked while standing and looking back at him seeing him nod.
Walking down the hallway, you peek into Manami’s room to check if she was still sleeping, knowing she’s likely to be knocked out. “As I thought, out like a light.. Maybe I’ll surprise her with pancakes.” You thought closing the door
Sawamura trailed behind you to join you.
“How is my second baby doing anyway?” He asked while rubbing her belly“Mm, she’s fine, moving a lot this week but that’s to be expected, I do only have a little more than 2 months left until her due date.” putting your hand on his you smiled softly.
7 months prior
Sawamura sat you down and asked how you felt on having another child now that you were married.
“I understand if you’re on edge about it.. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately– I just didn’t kno–”
“I– am nervous.” You said cutting him off“I have been thinking about it.. I am just afraid, that I’ll lose another.. Lose you. You already know after I got pregnant with Nori that he left.. I just don’t want you to leave either.” you said stuttering, you felt the tears welling up around your eyes“I’m not like him, and you know that! I would never leave you! Y/n, you make me feel something, happiness that I haven’t felt since Kayo.. you brought happiness to Manami!” he exclaimed, feeling the tears as well. “I’m dedicated to you. And only you.”
“.. And Manami.” you laughed trying to lighten the mood. “Alright, physically, I am ready to bare another child, mentally, I am still afraid, but not as much now..”
Seeing that it would be a bit difficult to try for a baby with Manami around, you both decided to drop her with her grandparents for a little more than a week, as a ‘vacation’ for her. Thrilled she was more than okay with it considering Daichis parents had a dog.
After that, for the entire 8 days she was away, you both used any time (and anywhere) you could to try to have sex. “You think that was enough?” He said panting “I’m pretty sure the amount of cum I pumped into you over the week could amount to an entire gallon.”
Laughing, you looked at him and then down to your swollen pussy lips “Maybe, I guess we’ll find out in a couple weeks. If not, I mean your parents love having Nami over.”
A couple weeks later, it was official. You held the pregnancy test in your hand showing the clear plus sign. “I’m pregnant..” you thought thinking back to when you found out you were pregnant with Nori.Sawamura then found you crying on the bed because of it. Your fears and anxiety were getting the best of you, and it was hard since now that it’s real. It feels like this is an attempt to replace Nori. And he knew you thought that too since that’s what he felt when he met you, like he was replacing Kayo- it wasn’t that though.. This was and is you both healing wounds that have taken charge of your your lives since the tragedy happened.
Turning to him, tears flowing down your red tinted face “I’m pregnant… and most of all, scared..” He sat down next to you and hugged you tight, bringing your body onto his lap and kissing you everywhere.“It’s alright to feel the way you do. I felt the same when I realized I loved you. It hurts, it feels wrong, but it also feels right.” he said bringing your chin so you could look at him He had a point, before the thoughts ran through your head, you felt happiness seeing that plus sign glow on that pregnancy test.
Back to present day
1047 - Sunday morning
”Darling, can you finally wake that daughter of ours to come eat? I made pancakes!” you giggled “Yes, I’ll go fetch her.” he said walking towards her room
Peeking into her room, “Manami? You up?” “Kind of daddy, I smelled pancakes.. Did mommy make.. pancakes?” she queitly said under the blanket half asleep waiting for a confirmation“Yes. thats right, she did make them.. the chocolate ones too.”
Immediately, she jumps out of bed and runs towards the bathroom to freshen up “OKAY IM COMING!” she yelled out while visibly trying to rushYou set the plate of freshly made chocolate chip pancakes at the table and started to make everyone’s plate. Before you know it, Manami is sitting in her chair with fork and knife in hand impatiently waiting for her plate“GOOD MORNING MOMMY! I AM HERE TO EAT!” she shouted as Daichi sat down next to you“Well good morning pretty girl, you seem very energetic this morning.”“THAT’S BECAUSE MOMMY MADE ME PANCAKES! I LOVE PANCAKES” “Yes I sure do know that little one. Go on and eat up my love.” you said smiling softly while putting her plate in front of her and giving Daichi his
Sitting down, you rubbed your belly and sipped your tea. Looking at your two loves, you couldn’t help but think “How could I be so lucky with a family like mine..”

Thinking about Posts and Tumblr
So I responded to an earlier post from @kalesims in the comments. I probably should have reblogged it so I didn't have to break up my response which may have made it less than useful (and potentially read to mean the opposite of what I meant), but I also wanted to move a bit beyond the initial prompt with this longer one. I have not posted much Sims stuff in awhile. Part of this is because school and work demands are eating so much of my time right now1, part of this that ongoing pursuit of perfection we all seem to have to some extent on social media, and part of it is because I may have dumped my entire CC folder into my game without sorting it properly and now it runs like rubbish and I have to fix it. Regardless, I'm going to focus on issue #2 the ongoing pursuit of perfection, because I think this is the most relevant bit and the one I've been thinking a lot about lately. Tumblr is a social media platform. (This bit is a little academic, sorry.) I think we all know that, but do we ever really think about what that means? It's ultimately a company that provides a public-facing platform with the explicit intent of marketing ourselves to each other. More likes and followers for you=more ads and money for Tumblr, but they have to incentivize that for any of us to care. How do they do that? Make it a popularity contest. How often do you look at your likes or followers count? What emotional response do you have when they're low? How many creators incentivize new followers or more likes by releasing content to correlate with milestones in those areas? This is all part of feeding that beast2. It also draws on something referred to academically as the "hedonic treadmill," which is basically the keeping up with the Joneses mentality where we constantly compare our success to our peers and find ourselves wanting, even if we aren't. This is going somewhere, I promise.
When I first started Tumblr, I had one blog: transcendentcacophony. I started it explicitly to follow sims blogs I liked and keep track of the cc I downloaded or things that caught my attention, and my initial posts all reflected that. After I was on for a while, I realized most blogs compartmentalized to a certain degree: you have a blog for gameplay, a blog for cc finds, a blog for interest x, etc., so, not being particularly versed in these things, I thought "This is how you tumble!" and immediately set about creating sideblogs like transcendentcacophonyinspire, transcendentcacophonys3cc, or transcendentcacophonystudyblr. I went through my entire archive, moved everything over to its new home, and deleted the original posts and reblogs from this page. Does that mean I think having all the sideblogs is wrong? Nope. The organization of having sideblogs is sometimes helpful, but they they make me feel kind of fractured on some level. None of these provide an image of a whole person, just brief glimpses of an aspect. Sometimes I regret having split the off, other times I find it more convenient. Mileage may vary, but the obvious winner for the sideblog model is arguably Tumblr. None of my blogs have many followers, but there isn't as much overlap in audience as you might think and if they were all still one blog, I doubt there'd be as many as there are.
This raises the question of who you intend your blog to be for. Is it for Tumblr, so they can keep making that sweet sweet ad revenue? Is it for the online audience? Or is it for you? Who do you see as your primary audience? The structure of social media clearly wants us to say everyone else. "You're here for the likes! The followers! The popularity!" Other companies lean in to this as well. How many followers do you have to have to qualify as an EA Game Changer?
I would argue that it's this pressure to have all likes, followers, etc., that prohibit us from posting what we really want to post. Are you posting the things that actually make you happy? Or are you posting the things that you think an audience wants to see?
Learning anything takes a lot of practice. How many times did you fall off before you learned to ride a bike? How many broken and malformed pots do you make before you get a perfect one? We learn by doing. Waiting for that perfect screenshot or getting reshade just right or having the perfect city in CAW keeps us from posting our broken pots. Maybe we need to post more broken pots.
If something makes us happy, does it need to be perfect, or do we love it anyway? "This is my first pot! It sucks, but I made it! Finishing it alone is an accomplishment! It's mine and I'm learning and I want to show that process so we can all get better together!" Shouldn't our screenshots or gameplay or worldbuilding be the same?
I am building a world in CAW. I've been doing it for quite awhile, and I have an entire folder full of broken pots as a result, but I learned something every time I broke one. When I read CAW forums, I learn more from the ones where things don't work than from ones where they do. I post some of my broken pots, and simmers like @nilxis or @murfeelee are so supportive and helpful and give me tips on how to better and fix issues I'm having. I value that part of this community. I don't learn to do better by not showing off my broken pots.
I know some of my interests are pretty niche. I'm building an alien scifi world, I have conversion projects from games that support that but probably won't be useful to mainstream simmers. I made a series of alien moons in conjunction with simblu, who is now deactivated. These are arguably not things that will get a lot of likes, reblogs, or followers, but they are things that make me happy. Kurt Vonnegut once said when he wrote books, he always wrote with only 2 people in mind: himself and his sister. His goal was that at the very least he would like what he wrote, and a few of the books were written with her in mind, and if anyone else liked it, it was just gravy. I can’t say I’m a fan of the man’s writing, but I kind of like the idea of this mentality.
To that end, I think I'm going to change up how I use this blog moving forward, with the express goal of posting more often and with more emphasis on things that make me happy or show off more of my broken pots. Maybe it will cost me followers, maybe it won't, but it will help me carve this little niche out of the internet that is mine, that makes me happy, and that seeks to support the simmers and other community members3 that have been so supportive of me in the past. If just one or two people get something from it, or are entertained, isn’t that still just as valid?
I don't mean to imply in any way that posting what makes you happy can't make you popular, or gain likes and followers. It's very much possible. Vonnegut wrote his books for himself and he published 14 novels, three short story collections, five plays, and five nonfiction works, complete with film adaptations of several, literary prizes, etc. You can be successful doing what you love.
But I don't know that I need to be successful at it. I want to be happy doing it first, and anything outside of that is gravy. I'm going to post more broken pots and worry less about perfection or "doing it right." I'm going to fall off the bike and get back up and keep going. And maybe, by falling and failing, I'll get better or at least good enough or comfortable enough I'm not worried so much about that quest for perfection that is currently prohibiting me from trying.
Anyways, @kalesims, I don't know if that answers the original question you had. But I'd love to see what you post, be it gameplay, screenshots, cc, etc., really whatever floats your boat, moving forward. And, if you're willing, I'd love to learn by doing together. Let's go break some pots.
1 Whoever decided the best way to avoid outbreaks on campus was to just cancel all breaks and holidays over the last year clearly doesn't understand college students (who very much are still having parties and making up their own breaks) or that the reason we have those breaks is for mental health. Fall break was specifically added to reduce suicide rates among graduate students. And admin wonders why everyone hates them... 2 There's a researcher who looks at social media as a neoliberal marketplace that forces us to monetize ourselves without necessarily allowing us to realize that's what we're doing. She's got a book coming out about it next month if anyone is interested: Pain Generation: Social Media, Feminist Activism, and the Neoliberal Self(ie)
3I have in no way forgotten you, @piyotan, and you are definitely part of my online community, this was just targeted largely at simming.

Do you have any advice for someone who’s really struggling to study? I’m really stressed and demotivated, and I can’t seem to sit down and just study. In my country we only have virtual classes so maybe It has something to do with that, it’s really sad that it’s my first college year and I haven’t attended one single face to face class. Anyway, If you have any kind words I would really appreciate it. Love your blog btw <3
Hey! Thank you for this! And I’m very sorry you feel that way...just know you’re not alone, I think we’re all a bit ‘what’s the point’ rn, and for students (and teachers) this period must suck especially hard. I don’t know exactly what can work for you, but here are a few things that come to mind. I hope you can find something useful!
Have habits and routines. Our days are all over the place, which is not good for motivation or mental health. Instead of procrastinating, feeling guilty, working in a hurry and then feeling even worse, decide on a schedule that works for you. Don’t be too hard on yourself - give it as much time as you need to do the work well, and devote the rest of your day to stuff that makes you feel accomplished and serene (maybe learn or practice a non-screen skill, such as cooking or painting?).
And: at risk of sounding like a yoga mom, don’t forget about your body. Very often stuff like bad mood or exhaustion has physical, not mental, causes. Try to make time for sport - dancing in your underwear, running outside, walking the dog, online pilates, a 7-minute app - and, if you can, a few minutes of meditation, singing or breathing exercises every day. I’d recommend the ‘cardiac coherence’ stuff - lasts about 3 minutes, makes you feel really great. And: remember to stretch, smile and drink water throughout the day. If possible, go outside or have plants and flowers around you.
When it comes to habit, try to understand what kind of person you are and react accordingly. Some people work best when they change cold turkey (new day, new me), while for others it’s better to adjust things more slowly (for instance by moving the alarm clock forward five minutes every week or two). If you’re the second type, a method like Pomodoro could work well to organize your work schedule.
Have pretty things. Try switching to ink or coloured pens, have nice stationery, organize your Word documents so they’re neat and tidy, use candles, plants, ‘good mood’ incense - whatever makes you feel your work has meaning and worth.
Try background music. Some people work better with noise, and you can find all kind of noises online, from stations to coffee shops to purring cats. Others like classical music. For me, what works is video game music, which is designed to keep you alert and focused while being unobtrusive.
Try to keep your workspace as similar as possible to a ‘real’ workspace. No stack of dirty mugs and plates, no abandoned pajama bottoms. If you can manage it, start your day as if you were actually going outside - dress for actual human company, put on make-up if you like to - and remember to prepare your desk the night before: textbooks, charged laptop, notebooks, water bottle, possibly a diary or a motivational quote or anything you find useful.
If it helps, study with friends or classmates. Have video meetings, chats or shared Google docs and work together. Rant with people who’re going through the same thing, but also find a way to help one another. If you live with flatmates or family members, maybe you can find a moment to work together on your separate things? Dad does admin, mom prepares a work presentation, you do your homework and that’s ‘work time’ for everyone?
Divide your tasks. Make clear lists of what you have to do - as detailed as possible (not: shakespeare essay, but: 1. read book, 2. write essay, 2b. introduction and so on) and pay attention to when the stuff is due, either writing it down in agendas or post-its or creating alerts on your phone. Some people also like the square of doom (you know, that ‘important + urgent’, ‘important + non urgent’ thingy).
Keep track of what you’re doing if you find it helps you. There are good apps for this, or you can use a nice journal or an Excel sheet. Track whatever you want - minutes of study, words learned, tasks accomplished...a favourite of mine is ‘a time logger’, which can track your entire day. When I was in uni, it made me realize I was working a lot more than I thought, and reaching daily goals kept me motivated.
Rethink your internet consumption, especially news, TV shows and social media. Try having periods where you go off-screen whenever you need a break. Stuff like, ‘no TV before 6 pm’ or ‘no tumblr on weekdays’ can automatically make you a lot less stressed and a lot more productive.
You can also decide to modify the way you engage with these things. For instance, if your studies involve a language, you could watch only TV shows in [language], or turn on [language] subtitles, or you could switch to Buzzfeed [country]. If you like IG, pinterest or tumblr, try having a separate ‘weekday’ account which is about healthy escapism and/or accountability: landscapes and poetry instead of fandom content, or a personal blog about your day - use the right tags and connect with others who’re going through the same thing.
Imagine you’re teaching someone. I’m guessing you’re passionate about your subject, so turn your study sessions into imaginary conversations. Teaching a lesson (or making a speech) is often the best way to see what you understand, what you need to work on, and what you’re interested in learning more about.
Websites like b-ok can help you find books about your subject (or not) - possibly stuff you’re not actually compelled to read, but which sounds interesting nonetheless. Broaden your horizon, discover different stuff, and sooner or later you’ll find yourself making connections between the exciting stuff you’re basically reading for fun and the actual subject you’re studying.
And: remember why you’re studying this. What are you passionate about? Why did you fall in love with your subject? Why are you studying it? Sometimes we have to endure a few boring classes to get to the good part, and that’s okay.
And finally: visualize the future. The world will get better, and at some point you’ll be glad you’ve spent a few (or many) hard and boring hours getting your degree. What are you going to do after this? Make a ‘future’ board, write a fake Wikipedia article about yourself, give a Nobel or graduation speech, give a pep talk to your (imaginary) future children about the hardships you faced on Zoom and how you overcame them to become the mom they know and love. Whatever works, no matter how ridiculous or narcissistic or far-fetched is a good thing!
I hope this helps! Remember to remain calm and positive, and talk to yourself as if you were talking to a child or a best friend. Less You suck and the world is going to end and more Yes, you didn’t do great today, but we can always do better tomorrow, it’s okay to have an off day! Uni is hard enough under any circumstances, and right now...do your best and resist the bait of dark thoughts: we will get through this, and everything will be alright. It’s how it works.

[the following text is a submission to the blog via discord by an anonymous member. This is not an official statement from FSW.]
Let me begin with my background, as a moderator for a 40,000 active member website for over 5 years, 2 years Game Master for a now retired MMO, being a Community Manager/Co-admin 3 years a Gaming Community, Several Subreddits, and even a bit of experience running a FurCon, I have a do naturally have a tendency to know when moderation and staff should should review themselves and consider the situation of the players. I know that any experiences don't exactly translate to DeviantART groups or ARPGs entirely, I have a big personal experience being a staff member / moderator in very similar fields. This is all just current opinions and thoughts that I, as someone who has been employed to be a moderator/staff for communities, would like to talk about Wyngro's current development and atmosphere.
I'm trained and most importantly, experienced abuse and criticism so I understand the staff's hesitance to receive feedback when malicious issues have occurred in the past. I feel the need to say if like Wyngro, or if you are one of the staff members and you are reading this, this is not meant to be a personal attack. I am not saying you are wrong, I am not saying you are a bad person, I am not saying you have bad taste. If you derived meaning from this post, that is fine and you are fine. But at least speaking as someone who has experience running communities, I can see room for much improvement.
I would bring this up to staff, but judging from past experiences with similar communities and anecdotal evidence from other members here, I feel like this blog is the safest way to voice my opinion without getting punished for a genuine concern, I understand that this is a shared feeling for a lot of members.
1. DOING HEALTH CHECKS:
Knowing the health of your community is very important and health checking is an important aspect of running a community.
As we know a lot of fatalities are caused by underlying issues becoming unmanageable or ignored and will inevitably lead to death. Health Checks help evaluated the overall situation, gives you data about things that could be improved and give members a way to There are many ways to do a health check such as polls, open forums, meetings and otherwise being. Having places to freely vent, chat or debate is imperative to health and also future-proof plans.
The fear of abuse should not deter anyone from critical analysis and feedback, if staff are concerned about people to abuse the system to attack staff member, there are ways to filter abuse:
1. Have choices in a poll to be multiple choice ONLY. This stops monologuing, callouts, etc. This is more data-presentable and easier to filter out.
2. Have the open forum/vent rooms be a privilege. Make it clear to those participating they must present their concerns and criticism maturely or lose access to the designated room and if they decide to vent elsewhere they will reprimanded. Make it a clear that people must consent to be able to access such places.
3. Employ a complaints staff, who can emotionally handle abuse and relay overarching concerns to the staff/owner with neutrally and tact. This should be handled by a few select staff members who can hold this responsibility.
3. RESOLVING CASES
Change does not have to be done in a day or in a short time frame, you can introduce them in a slow and constant manner which wont affect the flow of control. Remember to update people about changes, ask people to give their opinions on these new changes and adjust. Some people will bravely try new beta systems and you can always roll back to something tried and true.
4. REPARTIONS
Mistakes happen, allowing people to clear past mistakes and making amends is apart of life. If staff have some issues that seem almost unable to fix, then try to make reparations to apologise to members for inequality. Rest assured, that most people will accept apologies if you make it clear that it is a genuine attempt to apologize.
5. ENDING POINT
If there is anything you should read from this long spiel of mine is this: Listening to fans is an important aspect of running any game, community or arpg. In small groups, even as small as 5 people or with millions, it is often said that it's like Running a Country. If the Staff is the govenment, then the players are citizens, if citizens disapprove with your policies, they will move to another country. Clarity, Vision and Willingness to Listen is a Key to Success, Without these, the community will dissolve into a Dictatorship. Learn to listen and adapt. A complaint is worth twice a compliment. The silent will always leave first. If citizens are complaining, it means they still care.
TLDR: Please read if you can. I just want Wyngro to improve and be the best community. I thank you for understanding that my intentions aren't malicious or mean spirited and I want to give genuine advice for the owner and the staff. You're good people who've ran the community over 5 years and yes, being exhausted/stressed at your own community is natural. Trust me I wanted to strangle my co-admins after 5 years and retired several times while I was active, so I know how frustrating it can be. But know that there are genuine people out there looking forward to every day in Wyngro and that things can get better if you allow your community, and yourself, to change.
Kind Regards,
A fan.

SociRobotic Review
Tumblr media
SociRobotic, Why should you look for traffic other than Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, And Twitter? Yes, we agree that the top four social media platforms have the most users (almost 6.3 billion in total), thus your target demographic is likely to be concentrated here. But there’s one thing you should be aware of: the competition is fierce.
Everyone is concentrating on these top four because the professionals say you should. They also overlook the fact that there are alternative social media platforms with tens of thousands, if not millions, of daily users.
The easiest way to outsmart your competition as a savvy business owner is to be where they are, but also be where they are not. In that manner, you’ll take 100% of the platforms they overlook while cutting your own share from the platforms they focus on. Consider how much traffic you’d get if you used all 11 social media platforms.
The big problem: Managing all 11 platforms at once Is a lot of work; One of the most difficult aspects of utilizing social media traffic is the amount of time it takes. It takes a lot of effort to administer only one platform, so picture what it will take to handle eleven.
They are well aware of this. That’s why they created this application to help you acquire a lot of traffic from these 11 social media channels all from one place. Let me introduce you to SociRobotic.

SociRobotic Review – My experience in using it
I have the chance to try using SociRoboticas as a beta user so you can totally trust me with my honest review about my thoughts and experience with this software.
But before that, I would like to walk you through all the fun and powerful features so that you can have a clear overview of the product and what it can really do.
Here I’m inside the SociRobotic Dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of the total number of posts including succeeded posts and failed posts. You can view it in total or in each social media just by choosing from the left column.
In the “Publish all” section, you can write your post from here and publish it to your favorite sites. You can upload any kind of media including photos, videos, links, or text. To post it directly, just click the “Post now” button. Or else you can choose to schedule.
Switching between platforms can be done with ease by just clicking at the icon of the social media you want to post to.
You can do that separately with each social media platform. For example, here I am writing my post for Facebook Also, you are able to add as many accounts as you like.
Similarly with any other platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Tumblr, and Reddit.
As I have mentioned before, you can schedule your posting. Free to check the posting calendar in the Schedules section. Everything is laid out logically, which makes it so easy to keep track.
Another feature that I like is that SociRobotic allows you to upload files from your Drive, Dropbox, or Cloud. You can see all of your files here.
You can also add and write a new caption. Just type in the caption box and click the Submit button below
One more thing that is extremely useful is that you can add watermarks to your post. All you need to do is upload the picture you want to make your watermark, adjust its size, position, transparency and finally save it. Then you have your watermark. How easy and simple.
MY OPINION:
SociRobotic allows you to add multiple profiles from various platforms and schedule social media updates at your leisure or utilizing a queue with times that you set.
You can configure the listening stream to display whatever profiles/hashtags you desire at any given time. From the news feed, you can reply, assign posts, forward posts, retweet, and retweet with comments.
They can also integrate with sponsored adverts, although we don’t utilize them for that. I like that you can view an upcoming post calendar so I can know if there are any holes in our schedule.
The dashboard is simple to use and offers a variety of views, including a calendar, so you can see whether you have a lot of messages that need to be spaced out. The SociRobotic All-Stars Slack channel is another source of information and support.
SociRobotic also has incredibly detailed reporting for each platform, which has given me a better understanding of how our accounts and postings are performing. It’s been quite beneficial. I used to always forget to publish before, but this has made it much easier to prepare ahead!
Who should buy it?
You’re already aware of SociRobotic’s ability to assist you with your internet business. It doesn’t matter if you’re a marketer, a realtor, a coach, or if you sell digital downloads, eCommerce products, or other services.
However, if you truly wanted to boost SociRobotic’s earning potential and establish a separate full-time income with only part-time effort, you could use SociRobotic to run your own posting service for both online and offline businesses.
