So Me and my boyfriend have been dating since highschool Jr year. It's been a while since then, I'm in trade school and he works at McDonald's. Lately, he's been working very late, for two weeks straight and I understand he's been busy but it feels like he was ignoring me Because the times he was "working" were more than 8-hour long shifts. This cycle kept repeating for 2 weeks and during these 2 weeks, I would express to him that I felt ignored and neglected since he barely had been speaking to me. I was lucky if I got 10 texts a day at most. Which compared to before was very little. I would tell him how I felt and he would apologize saying "sorry babe didn't mean to make you feel that way" and then he would turn around and ignore me again in the same day or the day after. This started to wear on me and it felt like I was being brushed off each time. And this Thursday it all came to a head. For context I suffer from bpd, and being ignored triggers me, I am working on the issue and trying to be better but these past 2 weeks it feels like he was just doing the one thing I asked him not to do, over and over again. And he didn't communicate very well to me, if he was stressed with work or having issues at home I would have understood if he briefly explained. But he didn't I would ask him over and over again if he was okay and he'd just brush me off and say he's fine.

This last thrusday though he did the same thing, from Thursday 9 am to 7. He was "working" and only sent me 4 texts that day. I asked him what was up and why he won't communicate with me and he ignored me MORE. And I had enough and just blew up, I told him that how he was treating me isn't fair, and it's making me unhappy and I feel negelcted and not loved, I told him I felt like he was pushing me away and for what reason I'm not sure. I was fed up and told him if he wanted to break up we could but if he didn't he should call me to work things out. He didn't call me and ignored me more. I took a few hours to myself and then I texted him to explain more, and kind of apologize. I told him that I didn't mean to be so explosive with my anger but I still feel like my dwellings were valid and I explained to him that he just went cold on me for two weeks and didn't explain anything to me. And it feels like I cannot reach him anymore, and that I don't want to break up and work on things if I made him unhappy. But it wasn't fair for him to go cold on me like that. I told him I loved him but there's only so much I can take and I needed space, He once again ignored me. This time going silent for 3 days completely.

I texted him like a day later asking if we could speak the following day. Nothing. I asked him the next day if we could meet to the same day, ignored again. I was worried about him so I texted him again the next day asking if he was at least okay and he ignored me for a couple of hours, before saying he was fine and he's not ready to talk. I respected that and told him I understand and to text when he was ready. I also apologized to him and told him that i was truly sorry for how i acted and that he didnt deserve that. He lied again and said he had work that day (it was Sunday, before the fight happened he told me he ONLY had Sunday off, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to have someone working for 7 days straight) I didn't call him out on this because I was scared I'd upset him more so I just told him I loved him and to have a good day at work.

He ignored me, again.

Please be so honest, am I the asshole? I feel like the asshole for blowing up on him and I know it was wrong for me to do that to him but I just felt stuck and emotionally stuck after being hurt by him almost daily and telling him so only to get ignored. On my end this feels shitty, and I do wish I could take back what happened but I can't. I also feel this is unfair, everytime My feelings get hurt and I express them he doesn't go to the same lengths to Apologize or make it up to me or even make a long term change, but when I hurt his feelings he acts like this and acts like I just committed some war crime against him. Craig would never get over your death either but he'll try to move on, whats done is done, you're never coming back, even though he really wants you to come back.

trying to explain to every single adult around me that we get way too much schoolwork is like talking to a wall

i understand that i go to technically a college prep school but truly with the amount of work i have even that isnt comprable. i have 8 hours of school then go home and have 8-10 hours of homework counting an hour of studying because i have at least 3 tests a week in various classes sometimes w/ only 1-2 days notice. its legit either be a genius, be a good student, or take care of ur mental health. i dont even have a job or play sports and im up till at least 12 doing schoolwork. and every single godamn adult in my life is like "u go to a good school tho!" Hmm the general rule is that all the clothes he wears did grow, and he does not wear the yellow suit, so it stayed with Häärijä. Also most of the gifts he received from fans did not change size, except for the few that he likes enough to wear sometimes again, like the crochet Bulbasaur hat from Ideapark gig 😊 it makes storing the gifts much easier.

I had however an idea for a story where K is a bit sad he can't wear the yellow suit anymore, and Häärijä encourages him to at least try, and when he tries the jacket, it suddenly fits! The forces of magic decided the suit belongs to them both equally so it changes size depending who wears it.

That's how they do that clothes swap thing from EU tour in giantverse 🤭

2. how is he travelling? Planes trains and cars are not that big?

Well! He can use public transport most of the time, but he needs two or three seats. Whenever possible, securityman takes the third seat, but when there are only two seats in a row, he sits in K's lap 🤭

For planes they can get him the seats at wings as they have more leg space 🙌

K technically could also squeeze in a passenger car's backseat, but he won't do that because he never travels without fastened seatbelts 😇 (ei vittu!) 😑

🥹 well considering his apartment is now big enough to set a few tents in the middle, he probably invites friends over quite frequently.

The group chat had been buzzing with excitement since September. Finally a ski trip. All for the gang to enjoy.

Everything was planned out Hiccup and Daggur took care of that. Made sure no one had their period that week, the weather was ideal, the skii rental place was fair priced, the roads were not icy, the minivan had everything prepared to take on the road trip and so much more.

Stoick had an estate close to a skiing town. It took some convincing and some white lies but alas Stoick gave in. He was actually happy to see Hiccup excited about snowboarding again. They used to go every winter. Well every winter till the accident. Hiccup tried once after having permission from his physical therapist but being only 16 he got frustrated, declared that he would never try it again and gave up on it. After 5 years he was willing to try again and Stoick didnt have it in him to protest much.

So on the faithful day of January 2nd at 5 a.m. 8 young adults were piled in Daggur's minivan. The trip was supposed to be 2 hours but with the gang it felt like 20 hours and 20 minutes at the same time. Fishlegs was the only one who managed to sleep, twins were already betting on how many times they could make Snotlout fall as he protested that he wouldn't fall at all. Heather and Astrid were talking about skii models, Hiccup and Daggur were arguing over music while also arguing with Heather and Astrid on the superiority of snowboarding.

Some of the gang had their gear packed to go but the rest needed rentals so after settling home they would go to the rental place. At 7 a.m. they were in the porch of the house. Hiccup felt a lump in his throat as he pushed the door open. It had been 5 years since he last saw the house. Everything looked as he remembered. After him the rest of the gang made themselves comfortable.

"Okay gang we suit up and get in the car at 8 no excuses" Hiccup said. Groans were mixed with cheers of excitement. The house wasn't big or at least not big enough to house the Gang comfortably. But when it came to them the sense of privacy was almost a joke. It had been more than 10 years of friendship (minus Heather and Daggur)

Clothing were piled up in the living room. Tee-shirts flying over heads, thermals being tossed around. By some miracle everyone was ready by 8 and they were once again driving tho this time it was a 10 minute drive to the rental place on the skirts of the mountain.

Fishlegs was a skier, he tried the snowboard once and decided that having both of his feet tied to the same piece of equipment was just not it. Twins on the other had were the nightmare of the slopes, reckless and boarded. Snotlout used to snowboard but at age 16 as a defient move against his dad he decided to pick up skiing, to Spitelout skiing was weak and feminine and Snotlout knew him skiing would piss his dad off so he did.

Rest of them had their gear, Astrid and Heather had their skis; Daggur and Hiccup had their boards. Hiccup also had his custom prosthetic which needed a bit of adjusting since the last time he'd used it. It was a bottom heavy thing, Hiccup didnt like walking in it for long distances hance they took the car down.

They arrived to the slopes by 9 which meant it was time for chaos.

"Guys I'll be in the blues today..." Hiccup said reluctant. He was starting to regret letting the ski trip go out of the groupchat.

"I'll come with" Heather said "I haven't skiied since junior year"

So they all made their way to the ticket desk to get their weekly skipass then it was the slopes. They took it slow to warm up and get used to the feeling again, except for the twins who were already making a hard left to dive into the powdered snow. Daggur stuck by Hiccup, he knew this because anyone who wasnt falling every 10 seconds would've made past him. Hiccup appreciated the company.

Most people would've tried to give instructions or help him but Daggur knew all he needed was some company not more reasons to be frustrated. Besides he figured he wouldn't be able to give Hiccup a good advice soley because he has never been in his shoes... shoe.

Cassie and The Plushie

Cassie opened her eyes. She immeadly regreted it at the sight of blood and the mechanical arm near her.

She barely remembered anything. She ran from it, and Gregory helped her and.

He tried to kill her.

He started breathing heavily. She remembered what her Father said. “Count to ten.” She started counting.

She tried to get away from the Elevator and miserably falled into the ground.

Beside her was that strange little plush she had found with her mask while hiding. From her.

Cassie clunged into the plush.

“Hey watch it, dummy!”

Cassie launched the plushie away. It couldnt be it right? The voice was of a little girl. Maybe an older animatronic? Oh no.  

“Who is there!?”

The plushie continued staring at Cassie with it’s one green eye.  

“Right here!”

Cassie went into a small hole in the tunnels. “Are you there!?”

“You are dumber than i thinked.”

Cassie looked at the plushie. “How...Are you talking...?”

The plushie looked at her, and Cassie could feel the impatience. “Faz-microphones and what not. How did a little girl like you even come here huh? I should be the one questioning things!”

Cassie rolled her eyes. “Oh of course! Me and not the talking plush. I was here to save my friend.”  

“And that went sooooooo well right?”

Cassie wanted to kick the plush, but unfortunately she was created to be polite. “Well it didnt! But atleast i can Walk with my own two legs.”

Cassie was surprised to say the least When the plush lifted itself up and started walking in her Direction.

“What now. Dummy? At least im not all alone in a sad hellhole.”

Cassie’s patience was really getting over When the plushie said that. But if it could Walk, who else knew what it could do.

“Im Circus Baby. And ive been here for longer than you were born. So treat well your elders ok?”

Cassie knew the plushie probably didnt give a damn about respect for the elders, but she scoffed. “I’m Cassie. No wonder you said you are old huh?” It was true. The plush had all sorts of torns in it, and a cold smile perpetually drawn on it.  

Circus Baby waved at Cassie. “Hello? Cassie to Earth?” It scoffed. “Anyways. Unfortunately i have nothing else to do so. Why not help you?”  

Cassie looked at Circus Baby. “Why...Should i trust you?”  

The plushie laughed. “You shouldnt! But alas! I know you won’t even survive here! So. At least during your final moments you should have a little friend!”

Cassie couldnt know if that was threath or a twisted tentative of trying to calm her down.

“You seem to...Smart for a plushie of...Something...”

The plushie put it’s Arms up. “Oh, thank you! It’s hard for a gal like me make her life here! Oh well. We have to find a way to help you out.”

Circus Baby bonked gently her head into Cassie. “How is this supposed to help?”

“It isn’t. Just moral support.” The tone was quite uninteligible.

Alr so watched first two eps of s5 wwdits and my thoughts (in a numbered list woohoo):

1) Wait so the doc is called “what we do in the shadows” in universe?? Are they gonna have like a premiere ep way later in the series (like the offices qna kinda thing).

2) honestly I’m much happier than I was with the s4 premiere. I remember being pretty disappointed that we didn’t rlly get much from their Europe trip. I was so hoping that nadja and Guillermo would be friends/have mutual respect (quite a few ppl were talking ab it and I felt like it could have worked well and in hindsight we might have avoided the Freddie incident 😭). I remember being so mad like WHAT WE SKIPPED A WHOLE YEAR AND NOTHING CHANGED WITH GUILLERMO HE GOT SHIPPED IN A CRATE AGAIN?? I did like plenty of s4 (go flip yourself ep my beloved) but I wasn’t OBSESSED like I was with s1-3. I feel like this season might get me back into it more

3) love Colin he’s just always the same it never gets old lmaoo

4) just realized Derek’s wearing a collar and like punk pants lmaooo he’s getting a new look (maybe it’s not new at all but I only just noticed it now 😭)

5) the Sean fight at the bar lmaoo AND THEY STOLE THE POLICE CAR 💀💀 also laszlo’s pronunciation strikes again (“mutha-fuck-aas”) AND THE EVIL LAUGH AFTER “eat shit TERRY”

6) I KNEW LASZLO DIDNT ACTUALLY KNOW (well I only started thinking that when he was ab to confront Guillermo but 😭) WHYD U LET IT SLIP GUILLERMO

7) Based on some of the promo plz let Guillermo and laszlo be friends (I’m so desperate for at least one of them to treat him with a little bit of kindness consistently)

8) I want Guillermo to do some cool stuff so bad 😭. Like cmon do some special van helsing vampire kills. Ig he can’t slay anymore cause he’s also a vampire but PLEASE

9) Saw someone talk ab how the camera crew is more involved and yes it’s very interesting 👁👁

10) wondering ab what they’ll do with guide cause they added her to the intro (I am fairly certain that wasn’t in s4) cause she wasn’t in the first ep AT ALL

11) I hope they bring nadja into the main story with smth unique. Laszlo found out and is getting involved (kinda training him considering the promo). Guillermo is nandors familiar so there’s a lot of possible material involving nandor regarding his vampirism. Nadja rn seems like she’s stuck in this b team plotline with the guide. I will definitely wait and see, but considering it seems like just the guide faking the hex and nadja learning to be nice I’m prob going to be more into the Guillermo stuff (and that seems like it’ll mainly involve just laszlo and nandor)

Anyways, I really enjoyed it and I’ll just keep hoping that Guillermo will one day have one of the main vampires be kind to him (((:

Everyone else i wouldn’t read a story solemnly on them so no spot number 10. Maybe Helen and Aline take spot number 10 because i could read a story about them???? I tend to like really angsty characters trying their best and i just feel like Helen and Aline tend to be written as very stable people shhdhn so i’m not too sure i would jump to read a story about them immediately as is out, but i would 100% read it with time.

BUT I understand the love triangle is complicated, that she loves them both equally but differently (or thats what Cassandra tries to write at the very least, didnt feel like that because she disregarded Jem’s pov but whATEVER). Nonetheless i do really love the jem and tessa dynamic. A love that waited thousands of years but never weakened or hesitated.

Again, i have the suspicion ty and kit will go up a lot in rankings once the books about them are out. I also have my eye on Dru and Jaime, but with the age difference i put a stop. I know the books coming up will have a time skip and Dru will be like 18 or close to it, but i hear people say her love interest might be ash and the idea of that actually calls my attention so much???? So they could potentially go up too. Although mostly I’m excited to see how the time skip changed the kierarktina dynamics (Hopefully they still see each other like montly at the cabin and are very domestic by now. Hopefully someone has given kieran a cat by the time skip). And how the time skip and made the lightwood-bane family grow🥹 (the kids hopefully will have more scenes on their own and with malec).

Finished Black Sun

massive spoilers for the whole show under the cut obv

never in my life have i watched a show so utterly devoid of any subtext whatsoever that wasnt just not terrible, but was actually pretty great overall.

To literally no ones surprise the themes of racial and ethnic discrimination were not subtle in the least and at all times felt like being hit in the head with a bat, but at a certain point the absurdity of it actually became, sort of endearing? Like it’s so hard to take the show seriously when it does something like make direct reference to the death of George Floyd but at the same time the way it wears its themes so blatantly on its sleeve without leaving any room for misinterpretation is pretty impressive. 

Like yea, it’s not subtle, but it also never compromises on its main theme by taking some shaky middle ground on the matter, the show holds to the idea that the only way to induce change is by fighting for it. I was fully expecting some wobbly ending where the characters try to get along with words, or get one over on the prime minister thorugh the law but no, it ends with a fucking political assassination set to an instrumental version of the original Black opening. Like the absurdity of it all contrasts so starkly with the very serious portrayal of its themes, but that actually kind of adds to it in a way.

Theres also a lot to be said for how the show never actually forgets what tis adapting, or the inherent camp/nature of the original black. Like I’d seen a clip of the remade opening sequence before i got to ep 10 and assumed it was some post credits thing but no that shit is front end center on the final episode. Combined with the incredible practical effects and suit design, and it makes something that plays on all the strengths of tokusatsu so well that even if the darker nature of the plot can go a bit far at times, it’s still a toku ass toku show.

All this praise without even touching the plot of the show, which is where it gets a little bit shaky for me. Not to say the plot was bad of course, I was thoroughly engaged with the way the story was told for the first seven episodes. Building the viewer’s understanding of what happened in ‘72 through small clues in the modern day plot to the point where you basically know what’s gonna happen, but can still be surprised by exactly how it happens. Also on that note of the ‘72 to modern day transitions, a lot of them were done extremely well imo, especially in the later episodes where it was used to contrast the scenes happening. Just generally the story, even with only 10 eps, felt a lot like watching a super condensed 50 episode show, especially with eps 8/9 basically not having kotaro do anything but be dead for them.

Like every 3 episodes felt like they followed a totally different sort of structure, with the first 3 being very typical semi motw plots, leading into the climax in ep 6/7, and then the sort of calmness of 8/9 before the finale. It made each episode so much more engaging to watch over time, and makes me pretty happy I didn’t just binge the show.

That said the 10 ep structure definitely meant some of the characters got less time to really develop than others, with Nick being the biggest example of this, though even then I didn’t really feel like I needed to know more about him other than being a cool dude who wants to be a kaijin. Though that slightly goes out the window with the reveal that he’s Oliver’s son/grandson, since there wouldve been a lot more room for interesting stuff with him in that situation.

Overall though, outside of a few oddly paced/worded dialogues, a lot of the character work felt very well done. Some of the Gorgom priests didnt get as much as they could, and the same went for Black’s little circle of friends by the end, but there was still enough for each of them that nobody really stood out as being flat. Though I’ll admit some of Aoi’s scenes in that ep 7-9 range felt sort of like an abrupt change, especially with her threats towards Bilgenia.

But again, none of that really stops this from having been probably the best high budget show to tackle this sort of conflict that I’ve ever seen. For a long time I assumed any big productions like this that would try and have this kind of theming would just take the same pathetic middle ground that they usually do by the end, but I think that’s something I should’ve just attributed to American Hollywood productions instead.

So far this is the absolute best thing to come out of all the Rider 50th stuff that’s been done, and after having seen both this and shin ultra im kinda incredibly excited to see what shin rider brings to the table.

But anyway, all of this doesn’t speak to my love of this show as much as the fact that I’ve rewatched the scene of dounami getting decapitated to the black opening about 30 times now. I’m so incredibly happy that this show I hade basically zero expectations for turned out to be as good as it was.

1. Du ddu du: best raps, had a atual dance break, the hype during that era was unparalleled this was their first global hit ,basically but them on bullet proof boyscouts level

2.boombayah: the girls had one chance to prove to their company they were the new it girls and they did. lisa's rap outsold. jennies rap outserved. rose was on the sliding on the floor jisoo was a visual all was well. birthed blackpink in your era and i cannot lie "i dont need a boy i need a man" had me gobsmacked

3.So hot remix: technically is a single and not a comeback but i said i was ranking singles so get off my dick. the only reason teddy hasnt given blackpink an actual comeback like this is because he's afraid of success? i guess? has one of the least cringe english raps in their discography. like theyd actually body this. this remix came in the middle of a drought and got more streams than the original song in months. absolutley insane. hell they could probably still release it, just give jisoo lines and add a dance break omg.

4. Sour candy: technically not even blackpinks song but lets be honest it is. well its rose's really and we all know out of the 4 girls rose and lisa are the only ones really trying anymore at this point. once again if bp had a song like this they would devour. it would top the charts (deservingly) the reason its not higher on the ranking is because lady gahgah is on there, sorry ma'am

5.Playing with fire: she gave. everything. choreo was engaging, lyrics were deep. raps were slaying. everyone sounded good and this is the last time all of the members were seen trying during live stages. if bp released a song like this today blinks would cry tears of joy.

6. love sick girls: their last truly amazing song theyve put out to date basically manufactured in a lab to be a hit and it was.

7.whistle: its odd seeing whistle divorced from her sister boombayah but im gonna be honest here she has strong line distribution, good rapping but jennies vocals on the chorus never rlly hit for me. she sounds like shes straining, especially the bridge. honestly in my opinion they shouldve kept the demo version iykyk

Stay: i feel like people forgot about her. this is the only time bp released a slow song as a single. its very christian horsegirl music which was perfect for rose. i wonder if bp wouldve been better off releasing songs like this and their regular uptempo dance pop songs so that way they would have more depth as a group. but that would require actual effort from yg. bp has such a obvious formula for a lot of their songs that even when they try to break it it ends up more of the same *see, shutdown*

10. sure thing cover: ok i know im fucking pushing this it wasnt even a single but im putting it here because bp couldve benefitted from having a song like this in their discography

11.forever young: on the technicality forever young was promoted on music shows i will count it as a single. shes ok. i put her over kiss and make up simply because she has a dance break

12. Kiss and make up: technically dula peepas song but bp did good so im keeping it here.

13. Ice cream: npt as bad as people say it is its just painfully basic and selena didnt rlly add much but i digress.

14.pink venom: as soon as i heard it i knew they were going for early 2000s late 90s throwback vibes so i didnt hate it like everyone else what can i say i have the mind of a mastermind it was still a let down after waiting so long for a single though

15.as if its your last: i know the pinks hate this song it was the only new thing they had to perform for like two years.

17. shut down: i will give the song this, the lyrics actually are catchy. the melody of the chorus was stuck in my head after the 2nd listen which is strange since its a lackluster song. rapper jisoo showed up which was a welcome surprise. the english raps left a lot to be desired.
