wait i dont get why u rted that i hope everyone who donated to ao3 dies today post like genuinely ive seen lots of discussion abt it and somewhat reached the conclusion that donating to ao3 wasnt bad and them asking isn’t either ? like omfg “bad” this makes me sound like i see the world in black and white but yh. is there smth im missing?
well i don't know. is there. i do think it's stupid to donate to a website that will always reach up to quadruple it's goal whilst struggling to barely maintain the site itself let alone even leave the beta stage and that is why people get mad that this is repeated every year multiple times a year. i have no problem with the act of donating to a website to keep it running conceptually but it's also fundamentally one that will never offer even attempt to offer moderation due to anti-"censorship" bullshit and is an overrated cesspool of pedophilia and racism and i have never supported the site itself...? it is not a public service that is of actual value it's a form of entertainment run by people who can choose to make decisions but don't. just like how i don't like anyone with those stupid checkmarks on here 😭
also with the money people waste and suddenly have on them TO throw around they could donate to people who actually need help and save their actual lives but they don't want to do that. bc fanfiction is more important to Literal human lives and well-being to some people and as someone facing constant housing insecurity i don't... like that...

Watch my daughter’s story as she speaks as a Palestinian child who dreams of living like the children of the world, with a safe life away from bombing, destruction and a sense of danger.
My daughter, Dalin, was deprived of the most basic rights, such as education. She entered school in the first grade for one month, because of the war on Gaza.
Her only wish is for you to stand with us and help us by traveling as quickly as possible, saving her family and all of us going out to live a life without danger or losing any of us.
My daughter is like your children. Help us by donating through the gofundme campaign, and we ask you to save us before it is too late.
Please donate generously before the Israeli army enters Rafah, and share the post so that it reaches the largest number of good people.
Feel for us, my friends, and fulfill Dalin's wish, to live a safe life

I was raised in a family whose life was simple but filled with love and warmth. I was a young man living in an atmosphere of happiness, despite the harshness and difficulty of life. However, economic conditions forced me to leave my homeland in search of an opportunity through which I could help my family, who had always been the priority in my life.
While I was working far from them, I received news that I could never have imagined hearing. Suddenly, I lost the dearest people to me: my father, my niece, and my sister's daughter. This loss struck my heart like a bolt of lightning, but it wasn’t the only tragedy.
Our home, where we used to gather, was completely destroyed by war and devastation. My mother and siblings were left with nowhere to seek refuge except for a tent made of worn-out fabric, which does not protect them from the biting cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. My family became homeless, struggling to survive in conditions that no human being should have to endure. Despite my desperate attempts, I found myself powerless to provide them with even the most basic necessities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
During this difficult time, I found no other option but to appeal to those with compassionate hearts. I plead with you today, not for myself, but for a family that is now without shelter, without security. My mother, who gave us all her love and tenderness, and my siblings, who sacrificed so much, deserve a new chance. They deserve a roof over their heads and the safety that can restore their hope in life.
With your help, this family can have a new life written for them. The security they lost can be restored. Your donations will contribute to building a new future, not just with money, but with hope and dignity.
Help us restore my family’s right to a dignified life, which every family deserves.

Fundraiser close to finishing!
i am really grateful for the support my friends Alaa & Bilal have received after the last post i made about their situation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
however, they are not safe yet and still in need of support. the situation in Gaza remains dangerous, with no real safe area to go to and sky-high prices for the most basic necessities like food and water. everything costs a lot of money in Gaza: had to leave your tent behind after displacement and need a new one? say goodbye to $1000 at least! need some gas? $100! have to find a new space to stay? pay up! not to mention the ever rising prices for food and drinking water.
this is where you come in. i know with your support, Alaa & Bilal can live to see yet another day and reach their goal. THEY ARE ABOUT $1000 AWAY FROM REACHING IT. WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR THEM! $ 23.947 / $ 25.000 raised so far!
my friends are terrified and exhausted beyond belief and it breaks my heart to see them like this. it would offer them some hope and relief to know their campaign goal has been reached! verified on @/nabulsi's and @/el-shab-hussein's list of vetted fundraisers here (#95, line 99)
tagging people under the cut, if you'd like to be removed please send me a message! no hard feelings <3

Haneen reached out to me on Twitter to share her fundraiser. She’s trying to raise €30,000 to help evacuate her family from Gaza to Egypt. She’s only made €1,543 of her goal as of today, April 2nd 2024. This is urgent!
Please donate if you can, and share if you can’t.
From Haneen’s GFM page:
My name is Haneen, a Palestinian with permanent residency in Belgium... With great sadness, I'm reaching out to you today for help getting my family members out of Gaza to Egypt. My family lost our home when the neighborhood was bombed and destroyed. There are five members of my family in Gaza, including my father, mother and three sisters. My family lost everything in this war, including our businesses and homes. During the war, my family was evacuated from north to south, became homeless and evacuating more than five times. They are now living on the streets, and they do not have anywhere to live. They are now living in the most difficult conditions. Besides my mother, who suffering from health problems. She left intensive care weeks before the war and needs health care, and my father, for whom we cannot find medication, as well as lack of access to clean water and food. My family members are highly educated and come from different backgrounds. My father is a lawyer, my mother is a housewife, and my first three sisters are an engineer, the second is a lawyer, and the other is an administrator, but now they have lost everything and all their sources of income. However, they were unable to receive any financial or food assistance for the displaced and this meant that my family would be responsible for all expenses As a result, I am their only hope of leaving Gaza for Egypt and I am responsible for all costs. Please help me collect travel costs for five people. In order to facilitate the evacuation of my family from Gaza, where the situation is catastrophic and very dangerous. I'm setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise $30,000, here's the breakdown of the money: $30,000: A total amount of US$25,000 has been allocated to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, in addition to transit fees at Rafah, on the Egypt-Gaza border, with US$5,000 being the departure expense for each member of my family. It is estimated that the amount will be US$5,000. Enough to cover the basic needs of my family in Egypt for 3 months , including housing, food, treatment, and other necessities. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to my family's safety. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every dollar is spent on ensuring their safety. My family and I are deeply grateful for your support, and I am deeply grateful for any assistance you may be able to provide during this difficult time. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues so that we can reach our goal and provide safety for my family Please accept my sincere thanks for your kindness and support, as well as your willingness to stand with us in solidarity, as together, we can make a difference and help my family find safety and security. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Haneen

Hello🫂
"My name is Bilal from Gaza, I narrowly escaped the horrors of war, and we had to pay a large sum of money to escape. Today, I and some of my family members live in Egypt, but life here is very difficult and expensive, and we do not have a residence permit. Most of my family and loved ones are still in Gaza, suffering from even harsher conditions. I have set a goal to raise 3300 pounds to secure our basic needs, and only 290 pounds are left to achieve this goal. Your support now is not just a donation, it is real relief for humanity in need, and rescue for a family that is only a little help away from tragedy. Be a reason for changing our lives for the better, and open the door of hope for us. To help us, please donate via this link: https://gofund.me/ba5b76e9."

hi gang!! its me, ur favourite [redacted]!
as i believe I've said a couple times, i
a) do ALL of my work via my phone - mutual aid, organising protests, info sharing, my real-job-work, networking, yelling at Stephen Lecce because I have his personal phone number, etc
and b) have put my phone on hospice care. my phone has a terminal case of TSA Fucked With It.
as such, i am very very very desperately asking y'all if y'all can help me raise money for a new phone so i can continue to do the work i do!
my paypal is @adonisoftheroses and my goal is $700 USD. i only need another $114!
also, i have incentives!
if u donate $15, I'll paint u something!
if you donate $25+, i will write u something (a minimum of 250 words)!
if u donate $50+, i will send u a vial of mine own blood! (/hj)
send me screenshots n we'll figure smth out!
thanks so much!
(also, reblog this post every time you see it pretty please)
edit: its official! my phone has kicked the bucket!
I'm typing this from an ancient samsung galaxy note 5, which is barely keeping up with the speed of my typing, and will never be able to keep up with my work. for context, it hasn't been used in 6 years.
it's a lot more urgent now, because classes/work start up again in 1 and a half weeks. my most pressing phone-related matter is planning a vision consultation for the advocacy organization i work for. this will take place january 20th, so i need! a! phone!
i only need another $114 usd!
BITCH WE DID IT (for real this time)
i wrote a breakup text (essay) for my irl bestie and she covered basically everything i needed! the last little bit i got bc i convinced boss no. 2 / 3 to pay part of my paycheque thru paypal.

Help Support my BPS Classroom!
Please help me by filling up my empty classroom with supplies, books and games. After a decade of teaching I moved back to the Boston Area and in the move donated everything I had at the time to the schools and kids in the area. Now that I’m back in a classroom in this fun late-stage capitalist hellscape I am back into an empty classroom full of needs...and even after spending over $200 in the first week, the classroom is still largely empty. Please support in any way you can, even if it’s just sharing! Amazon Classroom Supplies List: Amazon Classroom Book List: TPT fundraising:
Tumblr media
FAQ Below
It’s summer WTH?: Yeah, it’s summer! But fun fact, most kids are 1-2 years behind academically after the pandemic (awesome) so therefore more and more programs are running summer school. My program is part of BPS (Boston Public Schools) and focuses on ESL and Math for 2 hrs a day, with art, STEM, and Nature programs coming in the rest of the time to expose them to more things. However we are just in random classrooms in random schools in Boston, and have very limited supplies... What’s your class like: Chaotic Fun. They are 12 kids aged 9-11, half of whom are ELL, a third on IEPS, and all living around or below the poverty line. They love art, hate math (except for 2), and are neutral on ELA (depends on what we’re doing). I have 2 who cannot read at all, and 1 who reads at a 7th grade level. Most of them would be quite happy if I just always let them play with supplies rather than actually use them in any academic sense. You know, typical kids. What supplies do you have?: Upon arrival I was given 1 pack of 25 pencils, 6 packs of 10 markers, 1 ream of colored paper, Popsicle sticks, graphing paper, measuring tape(?), tissues and lysol, and two board games...Basically, what was donated to the program. Here’s a photo.
Tumblr media
If it’s a summer program what will you do with the supplies after the summer?: Pencils, markers, crayons, notebooks...that stuff I’ll give to the kids at the end. Extra larger supplies I’ll give to the program if they want them (they run after school programs during the year) or keep for the work I do during the school year (intervention work and contracted tutoring) What if i just want to give you money? What if things are too expensive? For legal reasons, classroom aren’t allowed to ask for just money. That’s why we do supply lists instead, or raise funds for something specific (the TPT fundraiser). We are allowed to get gift cards though, so that is why they are on the amazon list. If there is is something else you’d want to donate, please ask! I have another question. Ask me!

Hello dears! I am asking you to support my campaign to help me reach my goal. I am in dire need of your support now to help me stay alive and safe. Gaza is a very dangerous place both in terms of living and lives. The family consists of 20 members, most of them are young children. I need your financial support to enable me to get the basic needs for my family until the Rafah crossing is reopened to transport my family to safety and peace. Please help a family stay alive through your small donations or through your shares to others. Thank you very much for standing by those in need. My campaign 90-ghoset has been documented
Fundraiser name: Ahmed Halas (searching this name instead of the blog name worked for me i think)
Link to verified post & details information post (@ 90-ghost)
Link to fundraiser blog (@ ahmeadhilles)
Ahmed's message: Hello, I am Ahmed from the Gaza Strip, I am still alive after ten months of war. This is my fifth war too. But this war is unlike any other. I am trying to raise money for me and my family, as we are determined to leave to safety while this disaster continues. We want to leave the Gaza Strip towards Egypt through the Rafah crossing and Hala Company. This was a very difficult decision for me, but this is my fate and the fate of my family. I feel ashamed to ask you to donate enough to save me and my family of 20, most of whom are young children, by raising enough money to reach safety. "Hala Company details are at the bottom of the article." Please participate, even if it is a small part. Donate any small amount, share my photos, share your story, anything that makes a difference. I have complete hope in you and your generosity. Father Fathi suffers from heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, and son Mahmoud suffers from back and cartilage pain, which is why he does not have a medical mattress due to sleeping on the floor, which makes him feel severe pain. Oh my God, what happened to us, I lost my memories and dreams that I have dreamed of for a long time, my house where I lived my childhood, nothing remained inside it, it was a pile of fire, and I lost my source of livelihood and my baby clothes store was completely destroyed, which led to the accumulation of debts that I was committed to from merchants that I obtained a few days before the current wave of war. Note: Ahmed will try, when the circumstances are complete and I collect a sufficient amount and I am able to reunite the entire family here in Gaza, by moving my family to a safe place and regaining some comfort or trying to go to Egypt, knowing that the cost per person now is $ 5,000 for an adult and $ 2,500 for a child. The price may fluctuate. Please help us by donating even the simplest things or by participating in our campaign, and I will be grateful to you

so high school ━━━ atsumu miya
03. cocky ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Maybe you should take your hood down and sunglasses off.” After fifteen minutes and a pit stop in the first coffee shop you could find, Atsumu was yet to make his appearance any less suspicious.
“Why?”
“Because you’re drawing more attention to us and they probably think you’re kidnapping me.”
Atsumu looks around himself and curses under his breath, pulling his hood down but keeping his sunglasses and mask on. “Fine.”
“Lose the sunglasses too, you look like a dick.”
“Oi, watch it or I’ll kick ya out,” Atsumu laughs. He moves the sunglasses to sit on his head. “Here, take the lift up.” He takes the second suitcase from you, rolling both of them by his sides. “How was the flight?”
“It was okay. Some lady’s baby started screaming halfway through and then she picked a fight with a flight attendant for not having anything to heat up milk.”
“What?”
You laugh along with him and shrug. "Funniest thing, they did have something to heat it up for her. She just started screaming out of nowhere! Then the baby threw up on her and the snacks she got, which shut her up really quick."
Atsumu laughs, holding open the elevator door for the two women waiting behind you both. He presses the button and you start moving up. "Just so ya know, none of yer furniture has arrived yet. Yer more than welcome to take my bed and I'll take the couch until it does get here."
"Oh, I sold all my furniture. Those boxes on my story was all things I donated to different charity shops, Ushiwaka delivered them for me before taking me to the airport."
Atsumu nods along slowly to your words. "What's yer plan?"
"Oh, I have money from all the things I managed to sell, along with the deposit I'd placed on the flat, so it's enough for basics. After I drop my suitcases off, I'll go for a walk and try to find some shops and you can go back to work."
"Don't be silly." Atsumu takes both your suitcases before you have a chance to stop him, leading you out of the elevator and towards the parking lot. "I can take ya. I took the whole afternoon off to help ya settle in. Plus, I can show ya all the hidden spots. We can grab a bite to eat."
"Are you sure? I don't want to inconvenience-"
"Yer not inconveniencing anyone, Y/N," Atsumu assures you, stopping behind a sleek, black sports car and lifting the trunk of it. He lifts the two suitcases, barely managing to get them both to fit. "I'm starved. We can try yer world famous onigiri tomorrow after ya get some rest."
You reach to open the car door, flinching back as the door raises upwards. "Jesus, you really make the most of your money here. Tobio's was just some old car. What's the point of it going up rather than outwards?" You slide in beside him, grabbing at the door and pulling it down.
He settles into his seat and lets out a soft chuckle. "Uh, it looks cool? Plus, ya can't hit any other cars with them." He pulls out of the spot and starts driving seemingly fast.
"You might catch some low-flying planes."
Atsumu shakes his head. "Oi, watch what ya say about my baby here. Be gentle."
"Are you being gentle with her, you took that corner at sixty." You have one hand rest on the door, staring at Atsumu with doubt in your eye. "Miya, are you trying to kill me? Was that the plan all along?"
Smiling and shaking his head, he glances over at you and slows the car down. "Ah, sorry. I forget to slow down with others in the car. I’m not usually the chauffeur.”
Nodding your head, you admire the streets you pass much more intently now that you’re going at a more reasonable speed. “So you drew the short straw this time around?” you tease, Atsumu not catching your smile.
“Nah, I didn’t. I offered.”
“Wow, you offered. I’m flattered.”
He chuckles. “Ah, well, mostly because the others need their practice more than me. I’m better than them.”
“Has anyone ever told you that you’re really cocky?”
His grin grows wider as he slows and pulls into a parking lot, carefully reversing into a private spot. “Everyone, darlin’. Come on, let’s get you unpacked.”

I was asked to help share Maram's fundraiser. She is a young displaced Palestinian mother urgently raising money to evacuate she and her family from Gaza. She has only raised €225 out of her €30,000 goal so far! Please share and donate, and if you can't donate, please still share!
From Maram's GFM:
‏Hi, my name is Maram. I am 28 years old. I am a Palestinian from Gaza City.A mother for 3 kids. This is my husband, Ahmed, and my children are Habiba, four years old, kareem, two years old, and Mohammad, nine months old. ‏My family and I went through very difficult circumstances in Gaza after October 7th ‏
It’s painful to say that we lost everything. But yes
we did! We lost our beautiful homeland with all its memories, we lost our job, we lost our lives and our dreams. We evacuated our house with only a small bag of clothes before it was bombed and destroyed. So technically YES we have lost EVERYTHING, from the biggest to the smallest little detail.
We have been displaced 6 times. My children left our home for the first time and moved to another home, and then we moved with the family to another, less safe home. Then the army ordered us to flee to southern Gaza, so we fled to the ground, then we ended up fleeing to a small tent and sleeping on the sand. ‏
My family suffers from a lack of food, especially ‏the children. My child, Mohammed, who is 9 months old, ran out of breast milk due to malnutrition, and the price of infant formula has doubled. Kareem and Habiba saw the simplest thing that could be available to children, which is apples, so they screamed and cried, wanting an apple, but the price of one apple reached 10 dollars or more!! ‏In addition, there was also a lack of healthy drinking water, which caused them severe stomach pain and diseases such as hepatitis A.
‏Due to the conditions imposed by the occupation, the siege, and the lack of resources, it has become difficult for my family to provide the children with basic and simple needs, such as diapers. It is difficult to provide all the needs, and due to the poor quality of the types of diapers available, my children suffered from a skin problem ‏ My family also suffers from not having a bathroom or even a shower. We can only shower once a month using a bucket due to lack of water. There is no electricity or gas either. ‏Every morning, I wash my children's clothes in cold water and spread the clothes out in the open air. If there is food, it is cooked on firewood, which is completely unhealthy and tastes bad. Me and my husband shared a beautiful life together. Our home was always filled with love and laughter. My children are the most precious thing I have in my life. ‏ Our lives were once full of dreams and hopes, but the never-ending cycle of conflict in Gaza shattered those dreams. Now our only goal is to survive. ‏ While others dream of the future, we long for the past, remembering the life we once lived before the horrors of war tore it apart.
‏I have hesitated to ask for financial assistance for several months, but the reality is that life in Gaza has become impossible in the near future. With schools destroyed and opportunities disappearing, our only chance for a better life lies beyond these borders. ‏ My only hope is to save my little family and we need €30,000 to make it out of Gaza, to start a new life from scratch. It is very difficult to leave homeland, but we are forced To get out of Gaza. Your kindness can make a big difference to us. Your donation, no matter how small, will help us escape the constant fear and uncertainty that has plagued our lives for so long. If you're not able to donate, simply sharing our campaign with your friends, family and social networks can also have a huge impact. ‏Together, we can give my children the opportunity to grow up in a world free of the horrors of war. Your kindness will help us build a brighter future and restore hope to a family that has endured so much suffering. ‏ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your sympathy and support! Your contributions will not only change our lives, but will also provide hope to countless people affected by similar circumstances.
