It's actually the first time I write for the show! i'm happy there's still people who loves it! Please keep sending me requests for any characters of the show (bonus points if it's Mordred! i freaking loooove him!)

I kept the idea of Merlin refering to reader as 'my' but changed the plot because i couldn't find how to write it... i really hope you don't mind...

AND I AM SOOOO SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO WRITE! And i also apologise to the other people who sent me requests! i have a major writing block at the moment, and i didn't want to write something that would be bad... y'all trust me with your ideas, i only want to give you guys the best <3

With the tourney coming up, Camelot was bustling; servants were running back and forth, preparing rooms for the lords and ladies that would come. And Arthur didn't spare Merlin, who already had tones of chores to do... And more chores meant he wouldn't be spending time with you any time soon...

It wasn't really a secret that the young man had a crush on you; though he thought he was hiding it good enough, pretty much everyone saw it. Yes, even Arthur; he was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to tease Merlin about it.

And it's the day of the tourney that said opportunity came.

The day was just as chaotic as you would expect it to be. Servants and squires running around the grounds of the castle to get what their lords want; Horses were being tended to; Ladies could be seen occasionaly, looking for the knight they wished to give their favors to... And Arthur was being Arthur. He made Merlin run to his room to get him something that he forgot (of course he said that it was Merlin who forgot it).

Merlin was running in one of the corridors, dodging other servants and guards, apologising when he knocked into someone. But in his hurry, he spotted you carrying a basket of what looked like bed sheets. Merlin had not seen you in maybe 2 or 3 days. He was running so fast that when he saw you and tried to stop to talk to you, he tripped over his own feet, and fell face first on the hard ground, and what he was carrying ended up flying at the end of the corridor.

People around didn't stop to help him; some looked at him laying on the ground but kept walking. Everyone except you. You ran up to him.

"Merlin? Merlin, are you okay?"

You put your hand on his shoulder lightly. He growned in pain, holding the side of his head.

"I think I'm okay, but I have hit my head pretty hard..."

He said. Merlin knew that he would be okay, he could use magic to heal himself.

"Are you sure? Maybe we should get Gaius to check if you are really okay..."

He knew he shouldn't smiled but seeing you so worried for him was making him flustered. He sat up slowly, his hand still holding the side of his head.

"No, no, really I'm good... I have to go back to Arthur's tent to help him finish getting ready for the tourney. This dollophead can't do it alone."

He laughed. The last comment made you chuckle. It was impressive how Merlin could talk to the Prince and not get punished for it... You helped him stand up, making sure he could actually stand on his two feets.

"Alright Merlin, you go help him... but stop running please. You are going to really hurt yourself one day..."

He chuckled, and before he could really think, he kissed your forehead.

"Don't worry, my (Y/n), i wont!"

It took Merlin a second, seeing your red face, to realise what he had just done and said. Which resulted in him blushing just as much as you. He started stuttering, trying to apologise and his heart was racing. You found that endearing. You thought he was adorable.

Unbeknownst to both of you, Arthur, who was getting impatient seeing as Merlin had not come back, was standing at the end of the corridor, watching. Now, he had what he wanted to tease Merlin as much as much as possible...

"(Y/n) I- hum- I'm sorry I- I don't know why I did that-"

"Merlin, it's okay, no need to apologise..."

You said calmly. You just looked at eachother for a second before you both smiled. You were looking at the ground, with red cheeks, but Merlin couldn't look away from you, completely entranced by you. You cleared your throat before saying:

"I should go or I'm going to be yelled at.... And Arthur is going to be mad if you don't come back soon... But we could talk again, later..."

His heart was pounding so hard, he was sure you could hear it.

"Yes- Y-Yes, absolutely! Can't wait!"

He said breathlessly. You picked up your basket.

"Then , see you later."

You stood on your tip toes, and kissed his cheek. You gave him one last smile and left. Merlin stood there, smiling like a dork, watching you leave. When you turned a corner and disappeared from sight, a heavy hand landed on his shoulder. And when he turned, he saw Arthur smiling mischievously.

"I send you to my chambers to get something, and find you flirting with (Y/n)- Let me rephrase this. Flirting with your (Y/n)~"

Merlin became red from neck to the tip of his ears. It was really his luck... He wouldn't hear the end of it. Arthur added:

"I can't blame you, Merlin. They're very pretty... And it's about time you do something about that crush you have on them, because I was getting frustrated to see you all desesperate to get their attention..."

"Oh, you mean desesperate like you are when Guinevere is in your vicinity...?"

The words flew out of his mouth before he had time to stop them. Arthur looked at Merlin with raised eyebrows, as if saying 'oh, are we really doing that now...?'. Merlin started taking small steps backward, before breaking into a full sprint with Arthur chasing after him...

Happy birthday Hajun

It's something i wrote like mid may at night on my bunk bed at dorms a year ago in my book. Its more self indulgent than anything. But damn do i love reading this thing for myself over and over again.

Currently you were running around BAE’s shared apartment trying to get the place ready for a certain someone’s birthday. For the most part you were trying to keep Anne away from burning the kitchen down or making something unedible. Wouldn't want anyone dying on Hajun’s birthday now do we?

You managed to pull Anne away from the kitchen and kept them busy by blowing balloons. You were helping Allen with the streamers now. Despite your nervously shaking hands you managed to keep a steady conversation going with him, that is until he mentioned your shaking hands.

“Say Y/n, why are your hands shaking?” He asked innocently.

You smiled at him nervously. “Well I'm afraid that I might mess this whole thing up. Also I feel like I'm forgetting something but I can't put my finger on it.” You said while thinking about what you might have forgotten.

“Don't worry about it. I'm sure Hajun appreciates that his girlfriend is throwing a party for him. Besides, he's infatuated with you. I've never seen him like that before he got with you.” Allen smiled sweetly at you.

The moment the word ‘girlfriend’ was uttered from him your face had turned red. Despite being together for a while now you couldn't help that help but still become a blushing mess around Hajun. It doesn't help that he finds your blushing face cute and keeps teasing you just to see it. Sometimes you wondered how you managed to land one of the most popular guys at campus and lived to tell the tale. You didn't say anything else and opted to stay quiet as you continue to decorate the apartment.

You were staring at a freshly frosted cake thinking hard about something. You had baked the cake according to Hajun’s preferences that you had apparently stored in your mind and managed to not forget when you asked him what kind of cake he likes a while ago.

“I'm seriously forgetting something.” You mumbled while mindlessly placing strawberries on the cake.

Anne and Allen were deciding on how to surprise Hajun when he came in. He's still not back from his modeling job. You wondered what kind of clothes he was modeling for this time. As if somehow Hajun knew you were thinking about it, your phone buzzed. You unlocked it and read the message Hajun sent. You blushed and stared at your phone when you saw that he had sent you a selfie of himself in the clothes he was modeling for. Insert description for whatever hecking clothes u want.

There was also a message attached to it. ‘Be back soon.’

Ever since that one time where you accidentally confessed that you liked seeing him in the clothes for his countless modeling jobs, he wouldn't stop teasing you that time but ever since that day he would send you a selfie of himself during his photoshoot. Hajun would also give you a copy of the magazines he's starring in everytime they came out to which you said that you would give it to someone else which you never did. In fact all of them were in your room in a slightly hidden corner of your bookshelf. You would never tell him that you still kept it because Hajun would tease you relentlessly. He still kept giving you the magazines though but you didn't mind it since it meant that you didn't have to spend money on them. He probably secretly knew you never got rid of them. Perks of having a rich boyfriend I guess.

While lost in your thoughts, you suddenly heard the jingle of keys and the three of you stopped in your tracks. In a flash you, Anne and Allen were hiding near the door with party poppers in your hands.

“I'm home.” Rung throughout the apartment as none of you said anything. Hajun stepped in and the three of you bursted out of your hiding place shouting ‘happy birthday’.

There was a slight look of surprise on his face but was then replaced with his usual smiling expression. Hajun was staring particularly at you who was standing at the back of the group as he made his way to you with a mischievous and teasing smile.

You were staring at gum, blushing madly with your mouth slightly agape. You didn't even pull your party popper too stunned when you saw him, your brain couldn't process the beauty that was Yeon Hajun standing in front of you, ready to tease you while brushing a stray hair away from your face.

“Like what you see?” Hajun teased.

“I-i. W-waht? Huh?” You were at a loss for words that you just blushed harder and gently pulled the part popper off in his face.

Hajun just laughed at your reaction as bits of streamers hit his face. “I bought it just for today.” Hajun gestured to his outfit. “Enjoying the view?”

You didn't answer as you were taking in all of the details of him. Insert description of hajun's outfit from his birthday illust last year cause i cannot for the live of myself describe it rn and im too lazy. Hajun smirked when you didn't answer and just continued staring. You blushed as humanly possible when you realize you're staring and nodded slowly at him.

“Awww you're so cute.” He pecked your cheek and took your hand leading you to the dining room as you got flustered over the kiss. “Come on. Anne and Allen are waiting for us.”

Indeed they were. The two left you two alone in your little world not wanting to disturb the moment. They had already started eating but left the cake untouched.

“Hurry up, you two lovebirds. I want to eat Y/n’s cake.” Anne exclaimed.

You got embarrassed at the statement as Hajun chuckled. You sat beside Hajun and he stood in front of the cake holding a knife. Allen had taken the liberty of taking videos and pictures as you all sang the happy birthday song as he blew out the candles and cut the cake.

The cake had been cut and the first slice had gone to Hajun. You handed him a fork to which he gave his thanks with that charming smile of his that makes your knees weak. You smiled at him sweetly. He took a bit of his cake and his face instantly lit up. He gestured for you to come closer and you did. Anne and Allen had already started eating again and left you two to your shenanigans. You tilted your head wondering what he wanted.

“Did you like the picture I sent you?” He whispered in your ear. The closeness made you flustered and you nodded. Hajun seemed satisfied with your lack of words for an answer and backed up and took another bite of the cake. “You really outdid yourself this time. I love it.” Hajun praised you.

“Glad to hear.”

“Do you want the strawberry?” Hajun knew about your fondness for fruits and that small gesture made your heart melt.

“I shouldn't. It's your cake.”

The whole time you were saying this he took the strawberry from his slice of cake using the fork and held it in front of your lips. “And that means I can do what I want with it.”

You couldn't argue with that so you ate the strawberry he fed you with a shy but satisfied smile. Allen and Anne were long gone from the dinner table, opting to sit at the living room in front of the TV to give you privacy to flirt but it's mainly just Hajun teasing you.

You savored the strawberry as its sweetness danced on your tongue. Hajun seemed to be enjoying himself, making you blush and teasing you was one of his favourite past times.

“Do you want a taste of the cake now?” Hajun asked.

You nodded nervously as if he would do something unexpected next. And unexpected things he did.

You didn't even have time to comprehend what happened when you felt something soft on your lips. Your eyes were wide open in surprise while Hajun’s were closed, leaning in to kiss you gently.

That sudden action made your heart melt and blush harder than ever. The kiss wasn't short nor was it too long. It lasted long enough that you could taste the cake he had taken a bite of before kissing you. Hajun pulled away and you were to say at the very least dazed and breathless.

Hajun on the other hand had a faint blush on his face but he seemed happy and proud of himself. He was caressing your cheek now. “So? How was it?”

“It tasted sweet.” You mumbled embarrassedly which elicited a chuckle from him.

“I see… Now I wonder what you got me for my present.”

It hit you then. The thing you had forgotten but desperately tried to recall and failed to do so. Hajun seemed to notice the slight shift in your expression.

“What's wrong?”

You felt extremely guilty having forgotten this one important thing. Tears threaten to spill but you didn't want to embarrass yourself over this small thing. “I-i forgot. I'm sorry.”

He rubbed your cheek with his thumb as his gaze softened. “It's alright. Besides you, being my girlfriend is the best gift I could have.” That just you blush seeing him soft like this.

“But you could make it up to me.” You questioned him about what it was. He then moved his thumb on your lip, a slight mischievous and hungry glint in his eyes. “Let's just say….. I won't be letting you sleep tonight.” He grinned.

Nevermind butterflies in your stomach, you felt like you had jumping beans in them. If it was possible to invent a new shade of red, your face definitely did it. Hajun’s expression went back to its usual smile that he put up around other people but that look in his eyes was still there. You couldn't lie and say that it didn't excite you but you felt nervous knowing how he could be. Let's just say you really didn't sleep much that night.

Kitty Dew Tidbits

Some important little things @sphylor, @divine-misfortune, and I have said that probably won't make its way into a post on its own.

This got long so there's a second post with puppy Mountain here

So Sphy did end up talking about the hats thing but I had already compiled this list so instead have some pictures of kitty Dew's hats

Also mentioned in that post is the shark onesie, which kitty Dew LOVES. It was originally Rain's so it's a bit big on him, but that makes it even more perfect because it smells like Rain and the sleeves are long enough to flap around

This one is a direct copy and paste because no summary will capture it correctly

Rain does that thing where he'll stick his tongue out a little when he's focused and Dew always mirrors it "oh its time for bleps now? ok!!" Rain: :p Dew: :p

Dew is captivated by videos of birds at bird feeders and sits as close to the TV as possible to bap at the birds

(one time they had to replace the TV because he tried to pounce on a bird and broke it)

(The first time he saw a bird outside the window he nearly got a concussion by pouncing at it head on)

Rain and Dew also sometimes watch ocean documentaries in bed on Rain's laptop, and Rain has to keep his arms around Dew to keep him from trying to attack the fish. Maybe also to hold a cuddly kitty, but mostly to keep him from pouncing... definitely

Speaking of sleepy kitty Dew, he has a very specific bedtime and if he and Rain aren't cuddled up in bed by that time he will meow incessantly at Rain, even herding him to their room if he's tired enough or Rain takes too long

He also never sleeps normally. There's a shared photo album with all the ghouls specifically for pictures of Dew in the oddest, most uncomfortable looking positions ever. Conversations in which Rain says "idk, I've gotten used to it" or Dew says "ooohh. So that's why my back hurts so much" are very common

He likes to sit in freshly made laundry, just napping the day away. It's warm and smells like his pack, so why wouldn't he nap there?

Every once in a while, really just often enough for it to not lose its novelty, if someone accidentally runs into kitty Dew, someone else will recite the Miette post for Dew

That's normally only when Dew didn't even notice he was bonked into. When he does, he puts on the biggest show of being hurt for attention, kisses, and cuddles. He does that every time he falls over, plays too hard, or anything else that could "hurt" him. If they had to pay infirmary bills Dew would be the cause for all of them from that alone.

Every time he goes outside, kitty Dew finds a rock to add to his collection. These rocks range from a piece of sidewalk that chipped off to something actually beautiful, and they are equally important

He also likes to steal buttons off people's clothes without them noticing. He stashes them under his bed, then after a while (when he remembers about the stash) Dew will put them in a box specifically for his buttons

The abbey only has door knobs, which kitty Dew can't figure out how to use, so Rain installed a handle for their bedroom door

1. Actually get close to him and let him cuddle up to you 2. He likes being scratched behind his horns 3. If you can't tell what he wants just sit or lay down and let him curl up to you, entertain himself, or direct you to what he wants 4. If he stretches to expose his belly this is NOT an invitation to pet him there. It is actually a dastardly trap (Proof: Swiss has scars) 5. DO NOT upset him you might actually die 6. Stop tensing up whenever he goes near you he's literally a cat what is he actually going to do 7. He really likes trying to catch your tail if you swish it across the floor 8. You gotta let him catch your tail eventually though otherwise he'll get stressed and WILL bite you. Also make sure to give him lots of praise when he catches it 9. Do not give him caffeine. He will get zoomies² and you will move up on Rain's hit list (Proof: Swiss has scars from that too)

He tried to fight the tinsel on the Christmas tree once. He was found with the smuggest face and tinsel everywhere on him

Dew constantly bonks Rain's mouth to ask for kisses then just looks up at him expectantly. After he gets his kiss he holds little mousey out so it can get a kiss too

Sometimes when Rain goes to kiss Dew he will lightly bite Rain's nose instead, giggling like crazy when he pulls back

Rain reads to kitty Dew a lot. Mostly kids chapter books so that Dew can follow along

Rain often wakes up to kitty Dew staring at him, inches away from his face

Though if Dew gets tired of waiting for Rain to wake up, he'll start playing with Rain's plushes and slowly start batting them closer and closer to Rain's face to "accidentally" wake him up

Sometimes when Dew plays with his toys he makes quiet chirping sounds to himself, like he's talking to them or making them talk

Mountain going puppy triggers Dew's kitty brain and vice versa. This causes a lot of problems when one of them has work to do

What do you think of the German comedian Loriot? And about the TV show 'Sketch History'? I absolutely love both, and 'Sketch History' reminds me of Monty Python soo much (the team must have been majorly inspired by them). They really nailed the humour and came up with their own recurring characters and creative sketches. I wish I could translate all the sketches into English and show them to an international audience 😅

Omg I LOVE Loriot! Especially the TV series/the sketches. I could write entire essays about it. Did you know that he actually stole from Monty Python quite a bit? (I will put a paragraph on that below the cut bc I've wanted to talk about that for years now lol but feel free to just ignore that part)

Sadly I'm not the right person to talk about Sketch History with. I dislike that show so much for no apparent reason. I just really don't enjoy it and never found it that funny tbh, it's so far off my humour... I'm sorry. But after hearing your praise I will definitely give a few of their sketches another chance now and find out if they maybe remind me of Monty Python as well. Do you have any recommendations for which sketches are the best/most like Python?

Now, what did Loriot "steal"?

Most famous example is the Wrong Interview Partner sketch in which the wrong person (with an ordinary job) accidentally ends up in a TV studio, getting asked the questions which were intended for someone with an extreme job. (In one version it's a deep sea diver and in the other one it's an astronaut, can't remember which one is by whom.) Why is this one 'famous'? Because John Cleese himself spoke about it, pointing out that it really is copied in an obvious way.

A really obviously stolen sketch is the 'Superscope' sketch introducing a revolutionary new invention of an extremely wide screen on which you can watch entire races without a single cut or camera move. Since it's just a tiny strip of white across your TV screen you can't even hide that it's stolen. (In one case it's a horse race, I believe, and the other one a 500m sprint?)

Another one which is less obvious but I still believe was inspired a lot by Monty Python is the beloved "Das Bild hängt schief" in which a salesman is to wait in a room until someone has time for him and in the meantime -due to butterfly effect really- accidentally demolishes the whole interior piece by piece. Monty Python has a sketch where we have someone waiting for someone in a room, too, but in this case he ends up accidentally killing everyone of the staff who enters that room. (That would probably have been too extreme for German TV, while the need to correct a wonky hanging painting is way more realistic. But I wouldn't be surprised if Loriot did get inspired by MP.)

The last one is something that could also be wrong because I might have mixed it up in my memory but MP has the Hide and Seek Olympics. And in a little Loriot intersection we see a reporter (unsuccessfully) looking for the Hide and Seek finalist, too, if I remember correctly.

On the other hand I think it's not a bad thing. It was a normal thing to do: You see something you like in another country and try to bring it to your own people, too. It's been done with songs, game shows, anything... Its just interesting because at that time Monty Python's Flying Circus wasn't even that famous and loved in Britain itself. So knowing of its existence and deciding to use some of their material is quite fascinating to me. (The wrong interview sketch by Loriot was aired one day prior to the airing of Monty Pythons Fliegender Zirkus in 1972. The other sketches weren't aired until 1976 though.)

genuine question- how does this discord username update cause privacy issues? I hate this shit ass garbage change too for many reasons, but don't see how it leads to issues with privacy, but you're not the only one to bring that up so maybe I'm missing something?

I gotta be real that I don't necessarily know all the specifics on it, but I do know the basics of like, to put it simply, having a randomly assigned number + the username is naturally a lot safer than just the username. Now, if someone wants to find me, and I reuse usernames at all, they can easily, say, try to friend me. Or try to friend me without knowing who I am by just writing a bunch of random words and username ideas in the friend bar until something matches up.

Before, that wasn't a possibility.

I say that literally, I literally tried it once cause I was curious how it functioned, you had to not only match up the username word for word, character for character, but also know the exact code to go with. That's a lot harder to accidentally stumble upon than just throwing a bunch of Latin-only characters into a generator and seeing what sticks.

That's the other thing. It's not Latin-only characters. That was one of the other fun parts about the usernames. My username includes Hangul, which is Korean characters, bullet symbols, and a font that is not in technically speaking, Latin characters. None of the characters from my base username function in this new format.

To simplify, we went from something that could be any character ever from like 5-20 (I can't remember the exact range needed for usernames back then) + 4 randomized numbers. So even if you had the same number as someone else, it didn't matter at the end of the day, so long as you didn't have the same username too.

For example, let's say my numbers were 4575 (not my real number either mind you), I could have any array of characters, from other languages to numbers to Latin characters, to Greek and Chinese and Japanese hiragana, special characters and fancy fonts. Emojis even. This greatly increases the amount of characters and by proxy possible combinations we can apply. Which, of course, means it's harder to hack that username. (this is not including the numbers, even.) Adding to that is the numbers, ofc. In this case 4575. See, the cool thing about the previous usernames, I could literally scream from the rooftops my number. It...wouldn't actually matter. Because without that specific username, it's useless. (It used to not work that way, but they changed it over time iirc, but I might be wrong on that. The fact is that to friend someone, or contact someone you don't share a server with, you needed to not only know that specific number code, but also the exact characters of their username.)

This is where my issue comes with Discord. We went from this, while not necessarily perfect, but not bad really, system, one where they even built in an auto-copy function so it's easier to share your username and numbers if you so wish, to the basic bitch system that's a lot lot lot easier to crack.

If I have the username "kira" for example, now, anyone can go and friend me just on that username. Because that's all that's between my safety, my privacy, and my inbox. Whereas before I had four unknown numbers and an array of characters that most people are unable to even use without the right keyboards. Which means it's a lot harder to just accidentally stumble across me.

My characters are now limited to a much smaller amount of options, making it, of course, easier to crack, but also, harder to hide from. Before you could get nitro for example, and change the numbers. Now, if I have exiled someone from my life, they can't friend me unless they randomly guess my numbers, and I don't even have to change my username to fix that.

Humans can try to be creative, but we statistically fall back on habits. (I am not an exception, although I doubt people will recognize me, I've used similar usernames for a good 8~ years, and I do it purposefully in that case, but sometimes it's just what I fall back on. It's harder to come up with something new than to use what you already know.) People will repeat usernames. People will repeat passwords. Even if they need to change it to hide from an online stalker, for example, they only have what's in their head already to work on. The numbers, at the very least, provided a nice buffer between your hackability as a person, and anyone trying to access you and/or your account.

A part of me also worries they're going to try to use usernames as part of the function to log in. Which they haven't required previously. I use my email every time to log in, if I don't use the QR code. So if we end up having that option, I'm running the risk of getting hacked anytime I so much as mention too many characters of my username, which is a lot riskier, at the very least.

I don't know a lot of the inner workings, and won't pretend to. I'm sure there's probably other privacy concerns, and some may be much more glaring and something we should be more worried about. But the fact they downgraded a somewhat secure system to something that we don't need nor want makes me worried. I have a lot of private shit on Discord from years on there. I have servers dedicated to venting about life and problems from middle school. And I suspect that just deleting the text files won't actually delete that from their records.

Having that be even slightly more hackable has me pulling up my hackles instinctively tbh. I don't know what is making them think this is at all a good idea. The whole "four numbers are too hard to remember" bullshit is just that, and I'm sure they're well aware of it. Which means there has to be some other reason they're doing this, and I'm not excited at the prospects, tbh.

Sorry for rambling a little, I hope this clears up at least some of the privacy concerns regarding it, and I'm sorry I can't explain more. It's really not my forte beyond my knowledge of internet safety. Which should be really basic stuff, which is why I'm shocked they think they can side-sweep us like this isn't right in front of our faces.

Hi, anon who said Miquella had more insect ties but didn’t want to spoil you from a while back! You might’ve noticed it, but in Elphael there’s actually several smaller cocoons that look an awful lot like Miquella’s own! I feel like it’s safe to say that they are connected to him, but I am not sure about their exact purpose. I do feel inclined to say it’s possible they were prototypes of his main cocoon though. I’ve also seen the idea that his followers were attempting to emulate him which…(1/2)

I’m not too sure about. I don’t really think they’d be able to have the means to copy his methods on their own, especially since we see these cocoons outside of the Haligtree itself. They’re a huge mystery, but the multiple cocoons at Elphael are super interesting to think about! (2/2)

Yeah, I saw that and went '!!!' because they look a HELL of a lot like silk moth cocoons, which furthers his ties to moths! I'm not entirely sure about what they were, or what their purpose was, like you said, but the way I personally interpreted it was that there was something in Elphael that was developing in them- Malenia spawned children and the pests out of the Scarlet Rot, after all, so it wouldn't be too far off to imagine that Miquella was capable of the same sort of creation via his element. Maybe instead of accidentally bringing about life, like Malenia did, Miquella saw what his sister did and intentionally tried to do the same, creating mothlike beings identical to him so that he could observe what happened when they spun their own cocoons. I wouldn't put it past someone as cunning as him, though it doesn't bode well that they don't seem to have hatched (as far as we can tell). Then again, they might need a source of nutrients to do so, as Miquella was feeding off of the Haligtree before switching to Mohg's blood, and the cocoons we see don't seem to have that sort of support.

I also can't help but wonder what Miquella's own relationship with his sister's creations are like- I don't think he has any idea of Millicent + her sister's existence, as Malenia doesn't seem to know they're there either (or doesn't believe them to be her daughters), but the pests are a species that Malenia seems to have deliberately spurned, so there's def. something going on with them there. Granted, Malenia appears to be fighting her nature as hard as she possibly can, and mourning her loss of control when it does happen, so its possible that she's merely shunning them because they're a part of the whole 'being a goddess' thing she's attempting to avoid, but still- I want to know more about them, and what Miquella thinks of them. They're pretty sympathetic when you ignore how fucking annoying it is to fight them

Euphemia Potter convinced her old friend Walburga Black to open up after her son and her husband died because all was not lost. The Black family name would not be dying with Regulus and Sirius. It would live on. Except her views haven't changed with age.

Roan took a deep breath, Arcturus on her hip. He was only two and had seen his grandmother once. She was an old and senile woman who kept herself locked in 12 Grimmauld Place. The young mother was accompanied by a woman the same age as Walburga, with a sweet smile and warm, inviting eyes. Her name was Euphemia Potter. She was the one who had convinced Walburga to see her grandson and let someone in after both her husband, Orion Black, and her son, Regulus Black, had died a year ago.

Even at such a young age, Arcturus could sense his mother's unease and leaned into her. The dark house scared him, and subconsciously, he'd begun to cry.

Euphemia looked as though she embodied the word courage. Unafraid to walk through the empty house with her head held high and her shoulders pushed back. Roan tried to copy her stature. Perhaps if she could pretend well enough, she wouldn't be shaking in her boots.

The hall leading to the kitchen was full of family portraits. Not an inch of that putrid green-striped wallpaper was uncovered. Roan gently bounced Arcturus on her hip, pointing to one of the many portraits of Regulus on the wall. A small smile crossed her face when the toddler turned his broad, curious eyes to what his mother was pointing at.

"Arcturus, this is your father." She ducked her head, her voice barely above a whisper. Too afraid to speak any louder.

He babbled something back to her, reaching his little handout.

"Roan, she's in here," Euphemia called, holding the kitchen door slightly open.

Arcturus didn't take his eyes off the portrait of Regulus when his mother turned away from the wall. He looked at all the photos and the different frames, his head leaning against her shoulder.

"I don't want her here."

Walburga Black sat alone at the kitchen table. Her head held high, and her hair looked like it had been pulled out. Her face was red, and tear stains sunken into the few wrinkles on her perfectly stoic face.

"Get that filthy mud-blood out of my house!" Walburga screamed, the chair squealing in agony when she stood up.

Euphemia didn't flinch, but Roan did.

Walburga was like the shell of what she once was. She was no longer a tall woman, her frame swimming in her clothes. Her loud and commanding composure was quieter, as if she was biting her tongue. Her eyes darkened when she saw Arcturus; the muscles in her face didn't twitch.

"My son. She killed my son! How does she have any right to birth him an heir?!"

Roan took a step back. This wasn't an evil woman; this was a grieving woman presented with the last remaining family of her son. The last remaining family just happened to be everything she hated.

Euphemia gently put a hand on the small part of her back. Her actions said more than her words. Roan stepped forward, her hold on Arcturus instinctively tightening.

"This... This is your grandson, Arcturus."

Walburga's eyes widened. He even looked like Regulus when he was a baby. She held her arms out for him, taking him from Roan and caressing his tiny face. Roan watched the woman light up, and for a second, she worried she thought Arcturus was Regulus as a baby. She shifted her weight on her feet, chewing the inside of her cheek.

"He's staying here." Walburga looked up, her expression hardened.

"Pardon?" Roan blinked twice. "I am his mother."

"No, you are a zealot. A two-dollar whore that managed to wrap my son around her finger. I am raising the rightful heir here."

"No, no. You can't do that. He's my son."

"He's all I have left of mine!" Walburga snapped, accidentally scratching Arcturus with one of her nails.

The boy in her arms began to cry.

Walburga's resolve shattered.

"I think this was a mistake coming here..."

Roan took her son from Walburga.

"I'm sorry, I should have stayed away."

Walburga looked helpless as Roan left. She looked to Euphemia, who was looking at the floor.

"No. No... No! He's the last part of my son! Please!" She staggered to the hall, catching Roan at the door.

"You were the only one who saw Regulus before he died! Please! Don't take my grandson too,"

"He can't live here." Roan didn't move her hand from the doorknob.

"He can't live with you! You know nothing of high-class society and the status the Black family has!" Walburga grabbed her upper arm, nails digging into her skin. "He needs a pureblood family that loves and cares for him."

"I love him."

Walburga considered it for a moment, but she wouldn't do anything while Roan held Arcturus; she wasn't that cruel. Especially not if her grandson reminded her of her own sons. But she certainly wasn't going to go back on what she said about her.

Thus, she watched her grandson and his mother leave her life.

I Wont Sign Back On Until Maybe Monday Or Tuesday (Of This September 2023)

[Note: Only Read This If You Want To, It Is Optional. also even though this has "for everyone" post, but I still rather have this be read by a "mature audience only" like the tags shows...]

I first want to say that, I notice a mistype on the last post I did....and well, after I post this, I will fix that...

I'm still not feeling okay with what happen, plus it isn't right that someone, not just me, if I'm not the only one going through this...

can't see their own saved drafts, just because one of their posts is mature, and wasn't placed as "for everyone" even if when you sign back in, you should still be able to view YOUR stuff, but then I find out something is just off...if this is part of the update, then I just don't know if I like it....plus maybe I can ask about advice about the whole problem of my not being able to get to my saved drafts, and the only reason I had saved the one I was still writing well yesterday now, and lucky I was able to save the original but I know I had wrote more when I put the copy of what I wrote on here...

it's like I was still writing it even before I signed in, and when I signed on, I still had the thing I had open up where I moved what I wrote on to here....you know, but then I had to leave the room because of a certain reason, and I didn't want to risk losing what I had put on here, so I had saved it in draft, not knowing that it's being....well, how it is right now....

also while I'm not happy about it not being visible right now, but in the post before this one, I had accidentally put "visible" instead of "invisible" when talking about it.

also privacy can be really important.

and hopefully the "search history" that is being talked about, means just in tumblr.....I wouldn't feel okay if it went outside that zone...

and yeah, even if not everything I wrote that I added when trying to finish writing on tumblr, will be at 100%....

and yeah, double checking and it does seem that some of the still important stuff is still there, so it was a good thing I was already writing it on the computer before placing it on to here, and well, lucky I didn't ex-out the thing I was writing it on or I be even more unhappy.

the episode of Helluva Boss Season 2 Episode 6, really did make me feel a lot better from, the other thing that had me feeling not so great.....I will post about it in a few days, thank goodness I was still able to keep some of it.....but the whole thing that is going on with my draft right now, is still not okay...

I just wont save anything with draft on here for a while....not until I get,whatever is the problem, fixed somehow....

I just need time to emotionally heal, do some self healing my way.

maybe just lay down in bed and sleep all day, or if I'm not able to do that all day, then maybe I can do some reading, or like binge watch some episodes of shows I like and even watch a few movies...

well, I'm looking over something....and I might know what the problem is.....maybe, and it might not have anything to do with my mature post that has that Crossover drawing, because I wanted to put it in mature just in case because of one of the characters in it...

everyone else is basically fine, it's just one character....and well if what I'm theorizing right now is true, then it could mean that there is a perfect logical explaining about why my saved drafts are all invisible and I can't find or see them where they would normally be at....

so yeah, what it says about the community labels, and there is some words like "Show", "Blur" and "Hide"....

and all has "Hide" I mean I saw it before I signed off, and well I decided to watch some episodes of Steven Universe, which I'm done at least for now, but might watch more later...

I still need to get some sleep....but yeah, I think if I switch them from "hide" to "show" maybe it will fix that problem and I can check to see if my drafts are visible again, but if it does work, I wont say it right away, because after I post this and edit the last post I did before this one.....I'm heading to bed, and I will sign back on either Monday or Tuesday.

things haven't really been perfect, and it doesn't help that Boomers are in charge, well more like Toxic-Boomers, well even if some boomers are okay, but I don't trust all of them and I think I can only trust a few. and I don't want to talk about those reasons at this moment.

I know that some might not fully get why I also don't fully trust all Male-Angels, of course that would include the Fallen Ones, and I do mean both sides....even if there are some Male-Angels I can trust, I want to keep my guard up, and yeah as weird as it might sound...

if I got my hands really cold, I had the thought of wanting to place both of those hands on each side of Lucifer's face....

yeah, one of the weirdest thoughts I had this year...maybe I can talk more about that odd and very weird thought in a future post.

sometimes my hands do get really cold......take me to him so the deed can be done. XD

yeah that weirdness kind of cheered me up a little, but I still think I need bit more self and emotional healing, I just need time.

I'm a weird and defective earth angel, who is but one of possibly many of Cain and Seth's Grandchildren....with a lot of Greats in there.

I still don't think Cain was born a monster, he was deeply hurting and it only got worse the more no one gave him the proper help he needed, and he is still not the first to give a "game over"....

and yeah, I still think both him and Abel were both in the wrong, but for maybe different reasons.....Abel needs to understand he isn't 100% innocent either, and if I had to do so....I would put my cold hands on his face too....

and yeah, anyway I'm weird and I'm still gonna hope that Jesus is only a distant cousin, because of stuff I had read about before...

I don't mind that he is family, but I don't want him to cross lines, and I don't want the antichrist to cross lines either...

their masculine energy fighting can be a problem I think, and yeah the whole Lucifer starting that rebellion, and both sides fighting during that imbalance between the masculine and feminine, is still not okay.

for now, I will post this as "for everyone" but it will have the tags "mature audiences only" and "not for kids" because well just in case.

also not everyone has to agree about the whole believing in a Goddess now, just don't be Toxic-Religious about it like that Toxic-Religious jerk who kept throwing those hurtful words at me, which once again, I had figured out they were misusing them...

I mean if your going to use those words that has to do with The Heavenly Father, do it properly and don't hurt someone's feelings with them, just because they say they believe in both God and Goddess now....

I think maybe, while I'm doing some self and emotional healing, I might do some meditation, well meditation my way by just listening to some music and having my eyes closed...

so yeah, if it turns out that both TFA-Megatron and Optimus are both Sari's Sires (and because of the Allspark).....that would make Megatron's Mentor and Optimus's Mentor......

"Grand-Mentors" or like Sari could call them "Grandma Termagax" and "Grandma Codexa"....

yeah, there is a reason why I ended up thinking that Optimus, well TFA-Optimus might be the Other Sire/Dad.....

I mean let's think about TFA Shattered Glass, if some info is true and it is SG-Optimus in the lab instead, it would make sense that SG-Sari was born in that same lab.....and well, it wouldn't just be that both versions are two different people and are like half-sisters, because they have two different Mechs as their Cybertronian Fathers....

and well, I can try to explain about this weird theory maybe either on Monday or Tuesday....and maybe during one of those days, I can post one of the weirdest drawing ideas that came into my mind....

but yeah, now my weird fan-headcanon is that both TFA-Optimus and Megatron are both Sari's Cyber-Biological Dads....

and it was a accident caused by the Allspark, and Megatron ended up being the carrier....

once again, that version of Megatron is long overdue for that Hatchling Shower....but besides the whole Optimus being like Dad-3, with Megatron being Dad-2 and Isaac being Dad-1....

we know that some fans had formed the theory about Megatron being Sari's Cybertronian Father/Sire since placing the pieces together when figuring out she was born in the same lab where Megatron was being kept.....

and well since Megatron is technically the one who made TFA-Soundwave (even if in a episode later, Isaac tried to take credit after the whole other Sound-Waves were made....did he forget that he didn't really make them, and it was all Megatron.)

so that would mean that TFA-Soundwave, is also Termagax's Grandson.....and yeah, Sari would technically be that Soundwave Jr.'s big sister....

and anyway, maybe it does help to talk about the fan theories and headcanons that has to do with families in Transformers different universes and timelines....

I think that in Hazformers Crossover, if Termagax was a lizard demon...I think she would be possibly much taller than Megatron...

I'm gonna be re-reading some chapters of the story that is "Becoming a Demon" by Blitzy-Blitzwing.

and well maybe when I feel at 100% and not just maybe at a 94% or 98% better, I can try to do another ship drawing of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel and Amethyst from Steven Universe....

if we can OTP ship Blitzhusk, then well, I can Crossover OTP those two, I'm weird and some times, ships are gonna get weird, and my wanting to ship Alastor and Amethyst is gonna be in the weird zone...

anyway I'm starting to feel, not so great now, not like the sad feeling I had ended up getting because of the stuff I had talked about....

I think I should just hurry this up and post this....and then edit that last post I did, and then try to change the whole "hide" to "show" and maybe if it works, it will show my drafts....hopefully.

anyway I think taking some time to do my way of self and emotional healing, could help me feel better after the stuff that made me feel sad, and not just the whole draft thing (but hopefully it can be fixed soon...) but I mean like thoughts about how some Male-Angels can be jerks, and yeah it was that new Helluva Boss episode that made me feel better, and well....I can talk more about it either on Monday or Tuesday....

anyway hopefully I will feel more happy later, even if talking about some weird thoughts about wanting to place my cold hands on each side of Lucifer's face, as well as my weird theories about Megatron and Optimus from TFA, did help some...

After being approved, we will wait until the "Assigning Stars" dates. Only then will I assign you to the person you will be drawing for. If you feel like pulling out of the event, it's better that you tell me BEFORE we assign you to somebody. You can start your art piece immediately once you are assigned the person you are drawing for.

Now that you're all ready to go, we've given you 37+ days to go all out for your art piece. Remember we will be messaging you on Dec. 27th and Jan. 10th to check in on your progress. Please respond as soon as you can. Once the "Posting Period" comes along, you will then be allowed to post your well worked on art piece for your Winter Star! Remember not to post the final result until the "Posting Period" Jan. 20th through Feb. 1st. This date may change if EVERY artist gets done earlier. If that happens, you will be told that you can post early. Otherwise, do not post until those dates!! Don't forget to wish them a happy New Year! I also will be messaging all participants a link to their gift post! So don't worry about trying to search for it. Remember to be kind and open minded to the gift you may receive! They worked really hard on it and it's a special gift made just for you!

Age gap ships are not allowed, we won't even let you request it. Explicit content is not allowed at all, and nudity isn't allowed either. Drawing an adult character shirtless varies. In short, flirty poses may not be allowed, but in a beach setting it might. Please ask us before going with it.

Your final piece can not just be line art.

You can do black and White shading, manga style or full color. We wouldn't want to give a person an unfinished gift, make it with love as you will receive a gift made with love too.

[2021.08.22] Kitamura Kento (Hibari) 17LIVE livestream

(I live translated his stream, so there may be details I'm missing/misheard.)

Starting remarks:

He wants to play Hibari more

He usually has great memories of the plays he's worked on, but not quite for this one; It doesn't feel like it ended yet.

He feels like they can do the play again, do the future arc again

His little bro is a big fan of Amano's works, especially KHR, so he's very familiar with this series

His brother is babysitting in the US, so he sends him clips of the play lol

It's only been half a year since he started Twitter and he appreciates all the support (likes, RTs, replies)

His faves are Dino and Primo in the manga. He loves their visuals. He thinks they look cool.

He actually wants to play as Primo lmao

Was excited when he heard James was playing Dino; he's worked with him in at least 3 plays (?, Hakuouki SSL, Hataraki Saibou); Met the first time in a while thanks to this stage

Q&A Section:

Q: Why do you have so many Hibird photos in your makeup area?

A: They're from Yamamoto Ryosuke! Ryosuke receives a Hibird photo from the production team every performance, so he gives them all to Kento since he's Hibari after all. He has around 8 of them. Sometimes Ryosuke forgets to give it to him and he feels unnecessarily disappointed lmao

Q: Thoughts on receiving Hibari's role A: First he wondered a lot about how he'd portray Hibari's fighting style, and tried to portray his cloud-like, untouchable feeling. Kento was set on fighting with "pauses" and "urgency" for Hibari. Hibari's the fastest in thinking and acting, like that time when everyone was panicking about Byakuran's attack, while Hibari immediately left to check on Namimori since that's where the attack landed.

Hibari can also be misleading. When the Real 6 Funeral wreaths landed at Namimori, he was first to speak. However, just when you think he was going to propose a plan, he just states that one of them landed in Namimori, which makes you wonder just how much he loves the place haha.

That unexpectedness makes him interesting to the viewers. He tends to speak, pause in the middle, and then change his tone/aura when he continues his sentence.

Q: Thoughts on Hibari before and after playing him A: He talked about this in his blog post. After playing him, he thinks of other people more than you'd expect. He acts to protect Namimori, and as a result, saves people.

Q: Have you planned the curtain call interactions with Ryohei and Lambo beforehand? A: Nope. That was all thanks to Kimeru adlibbing, and Kento has no idea when Ryohei will jump in lol.

On a tangent, but he very much admires Kimeru for perfectly playing his role. He has already perfected the role even when they just started rehearsing. He has the formula for Lambo down pat. This makes it easy for someone to copy and stand in for him during rehearsals.

Q: Can you share more info on the action parts? A: Every week he gets the stunts instructor to teach him something new, then he practices it on his own for the rest of the week.

Apparently, he practiced while facing a tree at the park, haha. A lot of people commented, saying they want to be the tree. He was like, "No way lol". There were so many people wanting to become trees that he said they were going to turn into a forest lol.

He then talks in detail about how to do a roundhouse kick properly lmao. The left leg/standing leg is important apparently lmao. He repeats this sentence a couple of times and demonstrates it with his fingers.

Sometimes he got tired after doing it so many times. However, when he started doing 1 hour stretches everyday, it became a lot easier.

Does aftercare? (Is that the right term to use here? haha) after practice because it's a lot of strain on his left leg and arm.

Q: What are your similarities with Hibari? A: He likes to do things on his own. Hyperfocused on what he likes. Is stubborn.

He likes to have a lot of preparation before taking something on...

He'll leave when he feels like leaving, lol

Q: Thoughts on Tsuna and Hibari's relationship, and your relationship with Takenaka Ryohei A: Tsuna is an important person in Present and Future Hibari's life.

Takenaka Ryohei is amazing. He has a different reaction to Present Hibari and TYL Hibari and he can really see and feel it... Ryohei's act really contributes to Kento's own acting. It's because Ryohei reacted that way that Hibari seems even more fearsome.

Ryohei can portray Tsuna's fear of TYL!Hibari, but then also show a different reaction when he stops Present!Hibari during Choice.

Usually, it should be the protagonist who would do something proactively while everyone else reacts. As the protagonist, but it's hard to give large reactions. However, in KHR, it's often Tsuna who reacts. It's because Tsuna reacts in a certain way that you can figure out what type of person the other character is. Ryohei is amazing for being able to do that role.

Q: Was it you playing as Alaude's silhouette? A: Yes. Yamamoto also played as Ugetsu.

Random tidbit: At the part where Deisy gets caught with the huge handcuffs, they didn't have those huge handcuffs until they were at the venue lol. So they've been practicing without it until then.

That's why his actions during that scene slowly started to change, since he began to have ideas on what else he could do at that scene.

Q: Thoughts on the Hibari switch scene A: He asked viewers when they realized it wasn't Kento as Hibari onstage? On their first watch? During the stream?

Daiki tried really hard to copy Kento's Hibari, like his walk so people wouldn't catch on. Was really happy when it was decided Daiki was the one who'll be his body double. He actually thought it would be an ensemble doing it, until 2 weeks (?) into rehearsals

Q: Happenings onstage? A: He doesn't really want to talk about it... However, after he turned 25, he's become more open to his mistakes so he can talk about this now haha.

When wearing suits, he wants to look suave and used to wearing them. Having the box in his pants pocket ruins the silhouette of the suit, and so would placing it in his chest pocket, even though the latter seems cool. He talked with the costume designers to add some sort of leather pouch (?) at his waist.

However, after putting the box in and out of the pouch so many times, the leather pouch worse out and became looser. In one performance, the box dropped to the floor sometime without his notice. ("Roll rolled." LOL)

During his fight with Genkishi, he stuck his hand in the pouch while talking and realized it wasn't there. He was like, Oh Shit, lmao. Then clumsily tried to hide the fact that he has no box by taking out his hand and only showing the back of it to the audience, lmao.

He watched a clip of that performance afterwards and learned that the box fell while he did a roundhouse kick.

Also, during the fight with Deisy, he can't see anything. The lights were so bright. When he twirls the handcuffs, it has to face a certain side so that the cuff would close, but sometimes it ends up facing the wrong side, so he has to twirl it back. However, it's hard to figure out if it's facing the right side or not because of the light, so he accidentally dropped the handcuffs once.

(There were actually a few fan reports saying that Kento seemed to drop his props often lol)

Q: Thoughts on Hibari unbuttoning his suit before fighting A: When raising your arm while wearing suits, the middle part scrunches open and he doesn't like that. He wants Hibari to look flawless, so he tried to make it part of the act to unbutton the suit.

He doesn't do this for the part where he trains Tsuna, since he doesn't want to make it like Hibari's doing it for appearances. He tries to make it seem like it's an act Hibari does when he expects a good fight.

Q: Any special training? A: He has a lower center of gravity because he played ice hockey seriously for 9 years. He's jealous of actors who took karate and dance since they are useful skills as an actor. He believes that playing ice hockey and balancing on ice skates really contributed to doing action scenes.

Q: Do you do any weight/muscle training? A: He used to go to the gym, but stopped because of covid. He apparently started classic ballet recently. He likes gaining strength without getting too bulked up. Before he hated wearing tight clothes, but now he has embraced it lmao

Q: Any KHR weapons he would like to try? A: He likes Japanese swords, so he likes Yamamoto's sword style.

When Chrome was handed the Devil Lens, he wondered how one would fight with it? How do you make it look like you use it often? Do you twirl it like a pen?

He's seen James' whip skills live during Secret Bullet and was very impressed that James was able to use them to the fullest. It's a weapon you can more easily hurt yourself with after all.

During rehearsals, there wasn't a center door to come out from, so he had to wait at the sides while Dino and Deisy were fighting. Hibari often comes out from the center door, so he calls Hibari a "Center Door Guy", lol.

Q: Judging from how fast you changed into the yukata during curtain call, are you the type of person who changes clothes fast? A: He has to change from suit to yukata in 1 minute and 30 seconds and be careful not to make Hibari look sloppy, so he was really worried about it... That's why you'd see him touching his collar from time to time.

Final Words

He asks fans to answer the Reborn! The Stage questionnaire and request for a rerun of the Future arc stage plays. They were able to change the future in Future arc, so he believes we can change the future in real life as well. A rerun isn't impossible in his opinion.

He'd love to livestream again sometime with others, like Daiki-kun (Glo Xinia/Dino), and Daiki-kun, and Daiki-kun.😂

Guardians of Arcadia: Operation: Secret Santa

Christmas is quickly approaching in Arcadia. While the town may not get such luxuries like snow or ice-skating, the Guardians still want to participate in some form of Christmas tradition all together. Some might not know exactly what is happening, but they’re giving it their best shot! (TOA CHRISTMAS SPECIAL WHEN?!)

Rating: ages 13 and up!

Warnings: Canon and character typical levels of teenage violence. Staja. Jlaire. No Zoe, sorry guys. Oh, and swearing.

Part Eleven: Douxie's very eventful, painful, busy day.

Douxie woke up early that day, his mind abuzz with many many ideas, but none of them clicking in the right way. He hummed a rock song he'd been listening to the night before, not overly interested in Christmas music at the time. He made himself a cup of coffee and sat on one of his barstools in the kitchen, still thinking.

"Good morning, Douxie," Archie purred as he jumped up on the counter beside the wizard. "You have that look on your face, what are you thinking about?"

Douxie sighed as he pet the familiar. "I need to get Jim a gift for his Secret Santa exchange this weekend. I don't have much of any ideas, and I'm not supposed to ask around, or someone else in the exchange might figure out who I've gotten." Douxie tapped his chin, and said thoughtfully, "Ideally, I'd be able to ask his mother what he'd like, but she's usually around him, unless she's working."

Archie purred. "It's not like you can exactly go up to her at work, either."

Douxie put his cup in the sink and slipped into his shoes. "No, and I've got to go to work myself."

Archie tagged along as they walked down the streets of Arcadia, not talking, but just hanging out in each other's presence. Just before they got to the bookstore, Douxie stopped.

Archie turned around and sat on the sidewalk. "What is it, Doux?"

Douxie's face split into a mischievous grin, and Archie frowned. "I have a brilliant idea!"

"Not with that grin, you don't," Archie muttered.

"Oh come on, Arch, when was the last time one of my ideas went wrong?" Douxie protested.

Archie raised an eyebrow as best as a cat could. "You used the real genesis seals instead of making copies to lure the Arcane Order into your trap. That alone almost caused the end of the world."

"That was just the one time!"

"You've pulled hundreds of similar stunts."

"Would you just listen to me? If I can't see Mrs. Lake unless I'm a patient, I'll just become a patient!"

Douxie's bracer glowed, and Archie was a second too late in yelling out, "NO!"

Blue light flashed through the street, and when it fade, Douxie was curled up on the ground in agony. "Oooooohh this hurtsss."

Archie hissed. "I was going to tell you off, but as usual, you dove straight ahead without thinking or listening. What's the next step of this hairbrained scheme of yours, hmmm?"

Douxie pulled out his phone, dialing the hospital. "Hello? I broke my leg, and need an assist. May I make a request?"

As he continued talking through the pain, Douxie noticed Archie had turned away, and was sitting with his back towards Douxie, tail thumping the concrete. Douxie finished the call, and inched himself a tad closer to the fire hydrant, just so he had something to blame.

He knew Archie was mad, but he also knew that Archie would get over it. Plus, this was the only plan he could think of at the moment that wasn't outright illegal.

The ambulance showed up, and dumb as it was, Douxie felt special that they sent the only ambulance to him. As he was getting loaded in, Steve appeared.

"Hey, magic man! What happened to you?" Steve yelled.

Douxie covered his face and groaned. "A terrible plan. But it's working. Even though Arch said it wouldn't. Ohhh, but it hurts so bloody bad," he added, his teeth grinding together as the paramedics accidentally jostled him.

Steve yelled something as the doors were shut, and Douxie didn't catch it. It didn't matter. He was on his way to the hospital.

"Douxie?!" Barbara exclaimed as she entered the room where Douxie was sitting. "What are you doing here?"

"I broke my leg," he informed her, not looking up from what he was doing just yet. The blue magic faded from around his shin and hand, and then he looked up. "I needed to speak with you away from Jim, and this was the first plan I thought of."

Barbara frowned. "Well, it was a terrible plan, and never make a similar plan."

Douxie hung his head in mild shame. "Yes, ma'am."

Barbara softened. "What do you need to ask me, Douxie?"

Douxie lit up, similar to the Christmas tree in the lobby. "What would Jim like for Christmas?"

Barbara frowned slightly as she thought. "I don't know, actually. He hasn't made a Christmas list in years, you know. The last thing I knew he wanted was a Vespa."

Douxie joined Barbara in Frown Town. "We have a hundred buck price cap," he said.

"Oh." Barbara fell silent as she thought, her chin resting in her hand, the elbow of which was supported on the forearm wrapped around her midriff. "Maybe a nice set of," she paused and looked him up and down, "Not-cursed knives."

"I would never give someone cursed knives," Douxie gasped.

"You broke your leg and fixed it yourself just to come talk to me," Barbara reminded him.

"But that didn't harm anyone else!"

"You need therapy."

Douxie pouted, then focused again. "So, kitchen knives, because a Vespa is way more than a hundred bucks. I think I can handle that. Thank you, Doctor, I have been cured of my ailment."

Barbara raised an eyebrow. "You fixed it yourself."

"You don't have to tell that to the paperwork."

"That's some sort of fraud, Casperan."

"Oh, I haven't been mom-voiced in a long time," Douxie sighed. He gave her his insurance card. "That should be the current one," he muttered, gaining him another eyebrow raise.

Barbara let him go after he filled out some paperwork, and he strolled back to the bookstore, happy that he got the information he needed. He hadn't quite reached the store, however, when a hiss in an alley caught his attention.

He entered the alley and found himself face to face with Archie, who was displeased with his shenanigans.

"What were you thinking, you absolute blunderbuss?!" Archie hissed.

"I needed information, and I made a plan!"

"That was the stupidest decision you've made in several decades, Hisirdoux!"

"Well it worked, Arch! I now have the knowledge I need-"

"That doesn't make it any less stupid!"

"I'm sorry, Arch, I won't do it again. Barbara already scolded me, and I have learned my lesson about contriving on-the-spot-plans that may or may not involve hurting my own person." Douxie sighed. "Also, she told me I need therapy."

"You do."

"Rude. Come on, I've got to open the store now."

"I should be making you stay home and sweep the kitchen!"

Douxie walked across the street, and met Claire. He waved at her as he unlocked the bookstore, his nose wrinkling as the smell of smoke hit him.

Archie's voice echoed across the street behind him. "And if you break another leg, I'm grounding you! That was reckless and- Hello, Claire."

The conversation faded into the background as Douxie cleared out the smell and finished the set-up. Archie finally joined him in the bookstore as he placed an order on Amazon for a good set of kitchen knives under sixty dollars.

He was ready for the weekend.

The weekend soon dawned, and as the sun started to set on Saturday evening, Jim's street became the busiest in Arcadia.

Lyn had spent weeks over her cauldron, brewing the bubbling green acid specifically for that traitorous buffoon. The ingredients came from Zalesia, put together with a little help from old tomes she'd stolen from right under her father's missing nose.

Now, Keldor's grinning blue face reflected back against the vibrant vial for possibly the fortieth time this week.

There was a place Keldor often went out to think. If Lyn went to his room and couldn't see him, she knew better than to go calling echoes down the cavernous halls or chase shadows or wait around for his return. So, when his room turned up empty, this hidden space was where she went.

Although Teela Na's questions these days were only answered back in the form of her own echo, she was often reminded that she was not alone. The child within her had become quite active, tossing and turning beneath her rounded skin. She leaned back in her bed, as her throne had become too taxing to reach without necessity, and answered the child's flutters with a hand against her abdomen.

Andra hadn't been at this position long and she was already wondering if King Randor had made the wrong choice. Yeah, machinery spoke to her, but... she just kept making mistakes.

Conclusions: I am in MOTU hell, a good 60% of my brain processing power at all times is devoted to kidfic/babyfic, and the remaining 40% is devoted to powerful women and their angst.
