+ 'Blueberry Muffins' +
Poly! Mattheo x Fem!Reader x Theo
- [fluff] - modern au! - Mattheo and y/n are baking in the kitchen when Theo comes home from work. He joins in and they end up having a flour fight. Fluff fluff fluff and ends in cuddling <3
Tumblr media
You and Mattheo were in the kitchen, trying to decide what to have for dinner. Any nutritional food didn't sound good, and all he was craving was something sweet.
"Brownies?"
"We're out of chocolate and I'm not in the mood to get high right now." You argued,
"Hmm... Strawberry danish?" He suggested,
"I don't even know where to begin to make that."
Then, Theo walked in the door, coming home from work. You both smiled as he kissed you, then Mattheo. "Hello gli amori. What are you two up to?"
"We're trying to decide what to make for dinner." You said,
"And let me guess.. you two don't want real food." You both shook your heads. "How about, blueberry muffins?"
Mattheo smirked, "That sounds amazing.. you're amazing." Mattheo kissed him again, expressing his gratitude for bringing up the solution.
You all started gathering ingredients and Theo brought up a recipe. "So how was work babe?" You asked,
"It was fine, I just missed you guys all day and couldn't wait to come home." He walked up and wrapped his arms around you from behind. "Mi amore." He began kissing down your neck lovingly and Mattheo smiled and came over to kiss you. You giggled and tried to break free from their grip.
"Come on, let's start on things." They smirked and started mixing ingredients together. Needless to say, baking with three people, (as long as they cooperate), makes things a lot more efficient.
Unfortunately, the peace didn't last long. Mattheo, feeling particularly playful, got some flour on his finger and booped Theo. Theo shook his head in shock trying to process what happened. "Excuse me?" Mattheo's face suddenly turned cold, realizing his fate. "I'm sorry- I-" Theo laughed and in an instant he threw a small handful of flour at Mattheo's face. "Guys!"
In response, Theo threw a handful at you as well, leaving you covered in flour. "Oh no you did not-" You grabbed a handful of flour and shoved it in Theo's hair.
"Not my hair!" Theo cried, and you and Mattheo laughed. At least, until Mattheo threw flour at you while you were laughing. You coughed for a minute, but once you regained your senses, you attacked Mattheo back. "You guys can't team up on me. I'm just a girl!"
"Oh tesoro, we know what you're capable of." Theo smirked, "Don't play innocent." You blushed heavily and tried to put your focus on the muffins. The boys fooled around for a few while you poured the mixture into the muffin tray. "Ok, put some blueberries in."
Mattheo and Theo both sprinkled some blueberries in and looked at the muffins proudly. "We make a pretty good team." Mattheo said happily,
"You're figuring that out now?" You laughed and moved to put the muffins in the oven. "Well we have 30 mins.. do you guys want to start a movie?"
"Sounds perfect principessa." Theo picked you up and carried you to the bathroom and Mattheo followed, "let's get cleaned up first."
You all put on fresh pajamas, and you helped Theo and Mattheo get all the flour off their faces. They returned the favor. "What about Theo's hair?" Mattheo asked, and you pulled out a shower cap.
"No." Said Theo, and you giggled.
"Come on, you're not getting flour on our couch. So, until we shower later, shower cap." You held it out to him proudly. He reluctantly took it from you and put it over his hair. "Pretty :)" He sighed and kissed you, "Only because I love you."
You all walked out to the living room and turned on a movie you three had been wanting to watch. Mattheo happily snuggled in and rested his head on your chest, whereas Theo laid against you, his head resting on yours.
"I love you guys so much."
"I love you to y/n."
"I love you too, gli amori."
(The muffins were delicious.)

Catching him with fangirls who are a little too passionate
Tumblr media
⇢ Featuring: The Seijoh Four
⇢ Genre: fluff
⇢ Warnings: none!
⇢ wc: 567
Tumblr media
━━ ➴ IWAIUMI Hajime
It was a regular day after practice, fangirls of the team were watching the boys play as usual. The coach’s whistle signaled a short break and Iwaizumi sees a text from you saying you’re running a little late and you’ll see him after practice today. “umm excuse, Iwa-senpai?” He looks up too see two girls standing in front him holding up water bottles. He smiles at them politely. “We got you some sports drink. You looked like you were working extra hard today.” Iwaizumi politely accepts them, as he was about to turn away, one of the them stops him and stands a little too close for comfort. He tries to back away but she reaches out to touch his biceps. “wow senpai you’re really strong.” Iwaizumi lets out a little yelp, before quickly covering it up with a cough when he sees you standing behind the two girls. “My girlfriend is here! I gotta go.” Runs over to you and kisses you right on the lips in front of the fangirls so you will have no doubts in your mind that he’s thinking of you and you only.
━━ ➴ MATSUKAWA Issei
A smooth talker, so fangirls naturally surrounds him after practice asking him how it went. Today was no different, you stood at the side smiling as the young girls stood adoring your tall boyfriend. Issei hasn’t seen you yet, but as a loyal man, he’s always maintaining a comfortable distance. One girl suddenly takes a step forward, placing a hand on his chest. Issei’s eyes widened in surprise, catching her hand with his own and pushing her away. He looks up and sees you standing in the corner. Will immediately go to you, but not before turning to the passionate fangirl, “please don’t touch me like this again. I don’t want my girlfriend getting the wrong idea.”
━━ ➴ OIKAWA Toru
He’s the pretty captain of Seijoh, it’s canon that fangirls are always around him. But Toru tries his best to make sure none of them are too passionate. He’s a pretty flirty person by nature, but he always make sure to dial it down in case someone gets the wrong idea. He makes eye contact with you and smiles, letting you know he’ll be right over.  As he was about to wrap up the conversation and head over to you, a fangirl suddenly grabs his hand, “Oikawa senpai you’re so handsome!” Oikawa jumps at her action before tearing his hand away from his. “thank you, but don’t just go around people handsome people’s hands okay?” He smiles politely before pulling you in by the waist, planting a kiss on you lips, letting everyone know he’s already taken.
━━ ➴ HANAMAKI Takahiro
The strawberry haired player was sitting on the bench when two fangirls suddenly approached him with cookies in hand. “Makki senpai, we made these for you!” Makki smiles politely at them, it wasn’t unusual for fans to bring them food. What was unusual was this particularly flirty fangirl. “You know how you can thank me? What about a kiss on the cheeks?” Makki meets your eyes in panic and you laughed at her audacity. Makki quickly shuts her down, “no thanks, if you’ll excuse me, my girlfriend is waiting for me.” Will drag you out of the gym so fast, not even giving the fangirl a time to register what just happend.

Tumblr media
From the outside, the Miya’s were a very well-known family with a prestigious family. Miya Kaito was a well-known businessman in Japan who took over his father’s Marketing company. Miya Izumi, the twins’ mother was much lesser known than their father but was still in the public eye. She was an author of a best-selling novel who lived in Sendai but moved to Kasai when she married Kaito. They had two twin sons who excelled in volleyball and were sure to go professional straight after high school.
They were picture-perfect. But to your eyes, they were everything but.
Atsumu’s prediction of his father's absence at dinner two weeks ago had turned out to be correct. You, Osamu and his mother had waited at the table for almost 40 minutes before coming to the conclusion that once again, he was not coming home.
The lavish mansion was a veil for a broken home.
A father who worked more than he saw his family, a mother who went on trips weekly to resorts to escape her life and two children who had to suffer at the hands of their parents’ actions.
You couldn’t help but think of their family dynamic as you were in the kitchen scouring through the fridge for breakfast, a day before your 18th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Miya weren’t soulmates but they seemed like they didn’t even like each other. It seemed like their public reputation was the only thing keeping them together.
That was the last thing that you wanted with your soulmate. You were less than 24 hours away from turning eighteen and you couldn’t help but think about who they might be.
Do they live in the Huygo prefecture? Are they the same age as you? Are they kind? A romantic? Were they just as excited to know your identity? Would we have a physical or emotional connection?
Questions like these ran through your mind ever since you woke up.
Usually, your breakfasts were something solid to fuel you for the rest of the day, but you were so nervous for tomorrow that you could barely keep anything down. You decide that some fruit would be enough for now. You stack clear contains which green grapes, strawberries and cherries in one arm as you use your free one to close the fridge door.
Maybe they’re in California? You’d meet them there when studying for school perhaps?
The questions continued to flow as you sat down at the counter in the kitchen on a bar stool as you munched on the grapes. You were so wrapped up in your questions that you barely even noticed that someone had walked in.
You almost choke on the grape when you realize who she was. It was the same girl who was making out with Atsumu in the cafeteria two weeks ago. She also must have been the owner of those over-exaggerated moans that still made you sick to your stomach.
Even though you took a while to acknowledge her, she still hadn’t noticed you. Confused laced your eyes are you stare at her half-naked figure opening the fridge in front of you. The only thing covering her was a large white button shirt with two buttons together at her chest, which you assumed was Atsumu’s.
As you were studying her in slight disgust, she finally noticed your presence.
“Oh hi, I’m Yui,” she said as she tucked her dirty blonde hair behind her hair.
“Yeah, I know, we’re in the same calculus class,” you say before you place mother grape in your mouth. Judging by her reaction to your words, she hadn’t even acknowledged you, but you couldn’t care less.
She stood there in a slight shock before hesitantly speaking again.
“So, are you dating ‘Samu?” she asked as she leaned her body on the side of the fridge door. Her words caused you to choke on the grape that laid on your tongue.
“Samu? No!” You manage to squeak out between your violent coughs. “He’s just my friend”
She seems to be confused by your statement. You never had thought about Osamu in that way and you weren’t sure why she would think that.
“Well, then why are you around here all the time?” Now it was your turn to look confused at her words.
“Excuse me?” You raise an eyebrow as you reply.
“You were the one who knocked on Atsumu’s door, right? The one he called princess?” she said as she crossed her arms in front of her half-exposed chest.
Ah, now you understood. Was she jealous?
“Yeah, I was.” your tone changes as your patience was slowly seeping through your fingers like grains of sand.
She nodded her head before stepping closer to the opposite of the table. “‘Tsumu’s mine, so don’t come around here anymore if it's for him.” she spits out with a grin as if she had accomplished something.
You take a moment to respond to her. In one swift movement, you stand from your stool and start to close the container of grapes in front of you.
“One, I live here, I’ve been living here since I was 6,” you said as you snapped the containers louder than you usually did. “Two, the last thing I want is to be around Atsumu.”
You gather the containers and make your way in front of Yui. She said nothing as she stood and watched you place the fruits back into its assigned tray.
“And three, he’s not yours. You’ll be gone by the end of the week, sweetheart.” that was the last thing you said to her as you exited the kitchen. You didn’t stick around the see her jaw hang slack, appalled at the words that came out of your mouth.
You knew she attacked you because of Atsumu but was she that oblivious that she couldn’t see what laid between the two of you?
pure annoyance and animosity
Tumblr media
“The audacity!” Stephanie exclaimed as you retold the events from this morning as you two sat outside the school waiting for the boys' volleyball practice to conclude.
“I don’t even want to think about it anymore, it gives me a headache.” you shook your head to the side as you try to forget the whole meeting. “Thanks again for giving me a ride today too, Steph.”
Your usual ride had to stay later than usual to make up his missed chemistry test and you rather walk the 30 mins than ask Atsumu to join him home. Stephanie was more than happy to drive you home after akaashi came out from practice. Because of Mara’s feelings for Atsumu, you never felt comfortable discussing him with her. You didn’t want her to feel bad for liking someone she despised. One can not control whom they love, so you spared her feelings and confided in Stephanie when it came to Atsumu.
“Don’t mention it!” she said as a smile pulled at her lips. “You excited for tomorrow? Finally going to be 18 and find your person!”
Your birthday completely slipped your mind as you focused on the Yui situation.
“I’m so nervous! hopefully, I can find him,” you said as you looked down at your hands. Stephanie could recognize your worry and placed her hand on your shoulder.
“Try not to worry y/n. You’ll find them. I remember the same feeling right before my birthday. The anxiety was eating at my soul but, in the end, everything was perfect. It’ll be like that for you too.” She empathized.
Akaashi and her were your only pair of soulmates to admire; They were the only two you knew. Your parents were also soulmates but you couldn’t see their love blossom due to his passing. You saw how much your mother loved and grieved him, but you weren’t old enough at the time to remember him loving her as much.
“I think they’re done,” Stephanie said as she held her hand. “I felt his signal.”
Akaashi and her shared physical touch. If in 500 meters of her, whatever Akaashi felt physically, so would Stephanie.
And as if it was timed, right after her statement the team came through the school's entrance doors.
“Hey!” Akaashi said as he waived at the two of you. He situated himself right behind his girlfriend. He muttered a small ‘hello’ as he kissed the top of her head and held her hand and rubbed small circles with his thumb against the back of it.
so that must have been their signal.
You could only wish your soulmate was as kind and loving as Akaashi.
You unknowingly stare at the couple in front of you as your phone starts to ring with your mother's picture displayed on the screen.
“Hi, mom” you answer.
“y/n! I need you to run to the store for me. I forgot a few ingredients for dinner today, could you get Osamu to drive you to the market?” Your mother said urgently.
“Uh, I would but ‘Samu’s taking a test right now, he won't be done any time soon.”
“Then can you ask Atsumu to take you?” Her words made you cringe at the thought of being in such close proximity to him for that long.
“Mom, I-” but before you could finish your refusal she interrupts.
“Please, y/n. I’m desperate.” she pleaded.
You wanted to protest. You wanted to tell her that going with Atsumu would be impossible, that he wouldn’t even take you in the first place but then you remembered how hard she works. She worked this hard for you, so this was the least you could do for her.
“Okay, I’ll ask him,” you say in a slightly sombre tone as you accept your defeat.
“Thank you!! I’ll send you the list, love you!” those were the last words you heard before she hung up.
“Ready to go?” Stephanie asked as she swung her bag over her shoulder.
“Change of plans. You guys go without me, I gotta find Atsumu.” Both their faces synchronously scrunched together in confusion.
“Are you going to be okay?” akaashi asked, clearly concerned.
You vigorously nod your head and send them on their way, thanking them for offering the ride home.
A deep sigh escapes your mouth as you make your way inside the school to find Atsumu. Luckily, or unluckily, you found him immediately standing at his locker as he was laughing at something Suna said.
You debated turning back twice but decided to suck it up. With strong strides, you walk up to Atsumu’s figure.
“Atsumu” even though you aimed for your voice to come off strong, even you could hear the strain in it.
He wore his usual volleyball attire, identical to Osamu. White joggers with a vertical black stripe doing down the side of each leg accompanied by a black t-shirt, which clung to his body due to the aftermath of an hour-long practice.
You approaching him for a change, took him by surprise a bit, but even surprise he still managed to wear that smirk to antagonize you.
“What’cha want, princess?” he said as he placed his hands in the pockets of his pants.
There was that damn nickname again.
“Um, I need you to take me to the market,” you say bluntly. Sugarcoating with Atsumu would only lead to his enjoyment but, somehow your words managed to do so anyway.
His smirk grew as he leaned back on the lockers behind him.
“And where’s the person who ya wanted to take you?” he knew he wasn’t your first choice. Hell, he wasn’t even your third or fourth choice.
“‘Samu can’t, so can you or not?” you probably shouldn’t have given him an ultimatum, especially because you had the lower ground.
“Sorry princess, can’t,” he said without a care as he slid his arm through his maroon Inarizaki jacket. “Meetin’ with Yui”
Just her name was enough to remember this morning. Your face contorts in disgust at the thought of her roaming the house barely clothed.
“Oh, you don’t have to be jealous, princess.” atsumu says after witnessing your reaction and assuming it was because of him. You can't help but snort at his response.
“I think you’re telling the wrong girl that.” you can't help but laugh as you speak. Your words earn a slight head tilt from a confused Atsumu and an amused whistle from Suna.
You turn to take your leave from his presence, but before you walk out the school entrance you turn back one more.
“Tell your girlfriend to watch what she says to me next time.” Your voice was much stronger than before. You didn’t stay behind to see the distraught faces of the two men you left behind.
You couldn’t even hear the way Atsumu slammed his locker and Suna’s voice calling him as he rushed off.
Tumblr media
You should have eaten more today.
That was the only thing that you could think while you scurried through the food aisles slowly compiling the ingredients your mother needed. Her listen was all over the place; enoki mushrooms, powdered sugar, sesame seeds, fatty tuna, vanilla extract, rice. The list went on longer than you expected.
All the feelings you were being put through today managed to stop you from eating lunch as well. The only thing that was in your stomach was five grapes that you managed to get down before your encounter with the unexpected visitor.
The last thing on the list was a jar of raspberry preserves, which of course was located on the highest shelf of the aisle. As you stare at it, debating if you should make a fool of yourself to jump while flailing your arms to reach, a voice came from behind you.
“Need a boost, princess?” His voice started you causing you to move backwards and stumble into his chest but quickly move away from him. Before you could respond Atsumu reaches up and grabs the jar that you were eyeing.
You turn around to him with wide eyes as he hands you the jar without his usual banter. Silently, you nod your head and take the preserves from him.
“Why’d you come? Weren’t you going to hang out with your girlfriend?” you asked as you placed the jar into the cart.
“She’s not my girlfriend,” he said firmly as he placed a hand on the cart to halt you from moving.
Why was he acting this way over this? It actually seemed like he was bothered by the situation.
You opened your mouth to respond but the voice that danced on your ears did not belong to you.
“Well, this is a sight I never thought I’d see.” A deep voice sounded from behind Atsumu. Both you and Atsumu whipped your heads in the voice's direction only to be met with two faces that put a smile on your face instantly.
“Aran!” Atsumu bellowed loudly, as he embraced his friend while you exchange greetings with Kita.
“What are you guys doing here?” you asked.
“We came back from college today, decided to go shoppin’,” Kita said as he lifted up the small basket in his hand.
“Now, the more important question is, what are you two doing here?” Aran asked as his eyes bounced between you and Atsumu. Aran was a friend of the twins ever since they were 9, therefore he was your friend as well. He knew exactly how you felt about Atsumu, so that would explain the way he was looking at the two of you, alone at a grocery store as the sky was enveloped by darkness.
“My mom asked me to pick some things and uh, ‘Samu was busy,” you said quickly, hoping that he didn’t think differently.
Aran nodded his head while pressing his lips together.
“Say, aren’t you guys graduatin’ soon?” Kita said as he shifted his basket from one hand to the other. “D’ya know where you’re going for school y/n?”
Now, this was the first thing that put a smile on your face throughout the entire day. “Yeah, UCI, California!” you said with a proud girn.
“America? What program?” Kita inquired with wide eyes.
“Journalism!” the one word made everyone’s eyes widened.
“Of course it’s journalism. She's the one-woman team that runs the Inarizaki newspaper.” Aran said with a wide smile.
You continued the conversation with Aran and Kita as Atsumu wandered off somewhere in the store. You weren’t sure where he had gone but you didn’t care enough to worry.
As you and Kita conversed, Aran spotted Atsumu at the opposite end of the aisle and slips away from the conversation.
“Bro, where d’ya go?” Aran asked slightly concerned.
“Just walkin’ round,” Atsumu said as he swung his keys around his index finger.
“So, y/n’s leaving Japan?” Atsumu had an idea of where Arans questioning was leading to as he slowly nodded his head in agreement.
“How does ‘Samu feel about that?”
ding ding ding
“Probably not too good,” Atsumu asked knowing exactly how his brother feels about your pretending departure. “I wouldn’t feel too good if the girl I loved since I was 6 was leavin’ the country either”
“So is he gonna tell her?” Aran whispered.
Atsumu let out a soft snort at Aran’s words. “He had 12 years to tell her, ya think he’s gonna now?”
Atsumu knew his twin brother loved you since before they even started playing volleyball. And ever since then, Osamu has never once attempted to tell you of his feelings. It drove Atsumu mad, but he never interfered between you and him.
Before the conversion could further between him and Aran, they both see Kita waving them down.
“Let’s go Aran, y/n has to get this stuff home before dinner!” Kita said as the two large men approached you.
“Happy early birthday, y/n,” Kita said as he gave you a small hug.
At Kita’s words, Aran checked the date on his phone in a panic. “It’s tomorrow!”
“Yeah, the only reason why Kita knew was it came up in conversation” you replied. You were never one to flaunt your birthday. It wasn’t that you didn’t enjoy big parties and multiple guests but, to you birthdays meant something else.
Your fifth birthday was the only one that you could remember before your father’s death. It was celebrated by only your mother, father and you, but it seemed like the most fun a five-year-old could have. Your mother always mentioned how your father enjoyed small birthdays and how they were sacred. he would say to “only share them with people who brought you pure happiness and expected nothing in return”. And that was now how you chose to live, just like him.
“Actually, I'm having a small dinner tomorrow, do you two want to join? ‘Samu will be there, so you could catch up with him.” Your invitation earned a smile from Kita and Aran but a deep frown by the blonde beside them.
You hadn’t invited Atsumu to your birthday dinner for obvious reasons and weren’t planning to.
The two men looked at each other debating whether to accept or decline but ultimately accepted.
You were expecting Atsumu to chime in but, he hadn’t. He only looked at you with narrow eyes and a frown.
His eyes were laced with an emotion that you couldn’t quite decipher. Anger? Annoyance?
It was only then that you missed Atsumu’s stupid banter because this Atsumu,
This Atsumu seemed to be a thousand times worse
Tumblr media
Ten minutes had passed since you last left the market and about twenty minutes since you last spoke to each other.
You two sat in complete silence as Atsumu drove to the Miya mansion in Atsumu’s Red Lamborghini. Mr. Miya bought both the twins a car of their choice for their 18th. Osamu had gone with a black Benz jeep while Atsumu went for the most flashy option.
You debated speaking to him, to break the awkward silence that filled the space between the two of you but Atsumu had already gotten ahead of you.
“Not going to extend the invitation for yer dinner?” His tone returned to its usually annoying self.
You look at him with a blank face and tired eyes. “Are you joking? It’s not like you’d come anyways.”
It was hard to believe that you two were once friends. Now you two could barely be in a car together without it imploding. He was the one that left you out of things, he was the one that no longer wanted to be your friend when you two were 8 years old. So why was antagonizing you over an invitation he wouldn’t even accept in the first place?
He just wanted to pester you in every way possible.
Minutes passed and once again the car was quiet as a mouse. Till Atsumu, once again sparked up a conversation.
“Yui,” You whipped to face Atsumu in the diver seat.
“Excuse me?”
“Yui. What did she say to ya?” He spoke without taking his eyes off the road, foot shifting between the gas and the break.
You were too tired to lie or ask why he cared, so you answered truthfully. “Your girlfriend didn’t like your nickname.”
“Not my girlfriend,” he said curtly while turning the wheel to turn on to your street.
“Fuck buddy, whatever.” you aimlessly correct yourself.
“Not anymore,” Before you could even comprehend his response, you two passed through the white gate lining the mansion.
It was far later than you thought you’d be home. The moon sat brightly in the sky as it was surrounded by small stars. it was basically night You only hoped that your mother wouldn’t be mad.
Unexpectedly, Atsumu helped you carry the grocery bags into the house. He strung 4 bags on his arms as you were left to carry one. You insisted that you can carry half his load but he was already through the door.
“‘Tsumu! y/n! Bless your hearts, thank you kids so much.” your mother said as you two placed the grocery bags on the counter in the kitchen. “Thank you for taking her, ‘Tsumu.”
“Of course, Obasa-” before atsumu could finish speaking to your mother something had caught his attention from the dining room.
Or perhaps, someone.
Before you knew it, Atsumu ran to the dining room and stood in front of the table. Instinctively, you follow him to the scene in front of you.
Sitting at the table was Osamu across from Mrs. Miya, and in between them, at the head of the table, sat a man you had not seen in a long time.
Miya Kaito, the twins’ father
“Atsumu” his father's voice sounded cold and hard as it said his son's name. Atsumu must have thought the same thing as you could see him wince at the sound of his name rolling off his father's tongue.
“So now ya decide to come home? What, finally got tired of sleeping at the office?” Atsumu’s voice was blaring, anger coursed through his veins, the only thing he could see was red.
“‘Tsumu! Stop it!” Osamu shouted from his seat in hopes to stop his brother.
“I wanted to have a meal with my family, so just sit down, Atsu-” Atsumu cut his father off not wanting to hear what he wanted to say.
“Cut the bullshit dad! Yer too busy for us and yer too busy for ma. so don’t even fucking try to fix this family, ya broke it a long time ago!” Atsumu’s voice raised in volume.
“Atsumu!” Mrs. Miya shrieked for her son to stop.
“I’m here now, okay? So sit down!” Mr. Miya’s voice matched Atsumu’s in volume as he urged his son to stop.
“You’re a fucking idiot if you think I’m gonna sit down and play house with ya.”  was the last thing Atsumu said before storming up the stairs. You stood there in complete shock at what just happened.
Your eyes scanned the room around you. Mrs. Miya held her head in her hands as Osamu's face grew in irritation. Their father stood there with distraught painting his face. Your mom was still in the kitchen, but she still glanced with worry with her hand over her mouth.
Everyone in this house was shaken because of him.
Osamu stood from his seat to go after his brother but you decided to instead. Osamu shouldn’t have to worry about his brother when he's going through the same thing.
You ran up with stairs faster than you ever have to catch up to him.
“Atsumu!” you called from him as you followed him up the stairs. He ignored you as he reached the top of the stairs and walked towards his room's door.
“Atsum-” Your second attempt was deemed successful in getting his attention as he turned around and pushed you against the wall, caging you in his arms.
“What do you fuckin’ want, y/n?” His voice dripped with pure anger. He looks distraught. His eyes were red and glassy and his skin was turning an unnatural shade of red.
“Atsumu, I know you’re mad at him but just go downstairs and talk to him! Everyone’s upset. Just give him a chance.”
“What the fuck do you know about how I feel? Ya got a good mom, yer going to a good school in America and ya live in a big house, which is mine by the way. Yer miss perfect! So don’t you fucking dare tell me what to do. This isn’t your place to speak.” He yelled inches away from your face.
You parted your lips to say something but he left before you could. The slam of this door was deafening to your ears. You stood there, in front of his door in utter shock.
You knew he had a right to be angry, and in no way you were denying that right. But Osamu had every right as well, and he was sitting downstairs beside his father.
Why was it different for Atsumu? Why should he be allowed to create this mess and let everyone drown in his actions?
Why couldn’t he just try?
Atsumu’s words about you left a burden heavier than any weight that has been placed on your shoulders. If you could not speak about his family, why could he speak so thoughtlessly about yours?
Broken families came in all sorts of shapes and sizes; he out of all people should have known that the best.

I really, really like Millianna. I think she's cute, funny, and just generally enjoyable to watch. She's amusing. I also quite like Millianna x Lucy. It's an intriguing and cute ship, methinks. However, this should not be a surprise. I tried to find some fics about this ship, but couldn't find any. If you by any chance know of any, then please tell me. I refuse to accept that I am the only person that is writing a piece of fanfiction about Millianna x Lucy.
Also, I got an internship! I will be helping girls from Afghanistan learn. I'm not sure how this will effect my upload schedule, but hopefully it won't have too much of an effect.
I hope you enjoy!
The Cat Caught the Fairy (Millianna x Lucy ft. Mirajane, Erza, Cana, and Levy)
Mira watched with a soft smile as Lucy laughed at something she had said. The barmaid polished a glass before observing that the blonde across from her at the bar had finished her strawberry milkshake. She walked away briefly to bring back a refill. The celestial wizard smiled and thanked Mira, causing the white-haired woman to blush and look down at her hands that were polishing another glass, her heart slightly picking up speed.
Lucy then continued to talk about a recent job with her team, failing to notice the lovestruck gaze that was directed toward her. Mira had developed romantic feelings for the blonde in front of her shortly after she joined the guild. She's tried several times to confess her feelings, but either wasn't able to keep the courage that she had built up or couldn't get Lucy alone long enough.
The white-haired woman was frustrated beyond belief. She deemed herself lucky that Lucy hadn't already gotten into a relationship. If she was being honest, she had both feared and expected Lucy to eventually start dating Natsu, however, she was proven wrong when Lisanna and Natsu had gotten together.
The take-over mage was so happy that the main contender for Lucy's heart wasn't a concern that she felt a rush of courage to confess her feelings. However, before she could, she realized that she didn't know for sure if Lucy was interested in women. She had decided to wait for the appropriate moment she could ask the celestial wizard what her sexuality was.
Deciding that this current moment was the right one, she waited for Lucy to finish her story and begin sipping on her cold beverage. The white-haired woman sat the polished glass in her hands to the side and leaned forward to rest her chin in her palm as she propped her elbow on the bar. She asked, a smirk on her pretty face, "so, Lucy, are you into men or women?"
She chuckled as Lucy flew into a coughing fit, having choked on her milkshake upon hearing that question. Once she regained her composure, the blonde looked at Mira with wide, surprised brown eyes. Chocolaty brown eyes that Mira felt as though she could just melt into. The celestial wizard stuttered, "w-what?"
Mira chuckled some more and repeated, "are you into men or women?"
Lucy raised an eyebrow as she straightened on the stool she sat on, questioning, "are you asking what my sexuality is?" Mira nodded with a smile, silently hoping that she was into women. Lucy blushed and looked down at the bar, visibly flustered. She stammered, "I-I well...I guess I'm...um...interested in both...though, I think I lean more t-towards women."
Mira suppressed the grin that was trying to fight its way onto her face. Instead, she maintained a soft smile. She was ecstatic with that knowledge. Now that she knew the woman she loved was interested in women, she just had to find the perfect opportunity to confess.
Erza and Lucy walked through a marketplace, looking at the food, clothes, and other items that were being sold in a line of stalls. The two women were on a job together in Lilly Town, enjoying the peace they were able to get from Natsu and Gray.
As Lucy gazed around at the stalls, Erza watched her with a smile and a faint blush dusting her cheeks. She had asked Lucy to go on this job with her with the goal of spending more time with the celestial wizard.
For some time now, the red-haired mage had been in love with the celestial wizard next to her. She's been debating with herself about if she should confess or not. She knew that Lucy was more interested in women than she was in men, and that Natsu and Gray weren't problems since they were with Lisanna and Juvia respectively. The problem that Erza was having was that she didn't know if Lucy was interested in her in the same way.
Fortunately, she hadn't noticed any indication that the blonde was interested in anybody at all, so that meant Erza had a chance of getting Lucy to fall for her. She just had to figure out how to do so.
The requip mage was brought out of her thoughts when Lucy grabbed her arm and pulled her toward a stall that sold clothing, exclaiming, "Erza, look at that shirt!" Once they reached the stall, they observed a cropped halter top that had a galaxy design, something that Lucy would clearly love.
Erza watched the celestial wizard gaze lovingly at the top. Erza chuckled, taking out some money to buy the piece of clothing for her, when a brunette man slid up next to Lucy, a playboy-esque smirk on his face. He asked smoothly, "you like that shirt? How about I buy it for you, and in exchange, you can accompany me on a date?"
Erza watched as Lucy began trying to come up with an excuse to shoot down his offer, clearly uncomfortable. The man wrapped an arm around Lucy and prompted, "come on, what's the harm in one date?"
The requip mage felt her stomach turn in jealousy and disgust as she clenched her hands into fists and gritted her teeth. She didn't like seeing this guy flirting with Lucy and trying to get a date with her. Erza quickly requiped into her Clear Heart Clothing before she grabbed Lucy's arm and pulled her away from the man. Pointing the tip of her katana against the scared man's throat, the red-haired woman growled, "Lucy clearly isn't interested! Leave her alone or I will make you regret coming here!"
The man yelped in response and ran away. As she requiped back into her normal clothing, Erza heard Lucy's laughter from behind her. Turning around, she watched with a blush and eyes that reflected her awe of how beautiful the blonde was when she laughed. The older mage then turned to the merchant on the other side of the clothing stall and slammed down some jewel, requesting, "that halter top, please."
The pair of mages soon began walking to the train station to make their way back to Magnolia, Lucy holding the top with an appreciative smile and Erza wrapping her arm around the blonde's shoulders, bringing her in closer. Hopefully, soon she would be able to confess her feelings to the celestial wizard that was beaming at her with a lovely smile.
Cana gulped down a mug of alcohol, watching as Lucy worked on her novel next to her. She smiled softly. She enjoyed seeing Lucy so wrapped up in her written work. The celestial wizard was pretty as a picture and intelligent, two things that the brunette next to her loved in a romantic partner. Cana felt her cheeks warm when the blonde looked over at her and smiled before turning her attention back to her novel.
The card mage had loved Lucy since the S-Class Trials. She had considered the blonde to be one of her closest friends, possibly even her closest friend, but it was when Lucy helped her during the S-Class Trials that the brunette woman realized her growing feelings that went beyond platonic for the celestial wizard.
Cana was hesitant to admit her feelings to Lucy. She had always been open about her attraction toward women, and enjoyed teasing others about their sex lives, however, when it came to the feelings she held toward someone else, she wasn't so confident and vulgar.
She down another mug of alcohol and continued to observe the younger woman next to her. She was planning to confess soon. She just had to get Lucy alone. The celestial wizard was busy, now more than ever. She was always either on a job, working on her novel, or preoccupied with something else.
It frustrated Cana. She wanted to confess her feelings, but never got the chance. She was going to ask Lucy to go on a job with her, but didn't get the chance to as Erza had decided to drag the celestial wizard out on a job.
The brunette woman waved to Mira to bring her another mug of alcohol. As she downed the bitter drink, she decided that she would ask Lucy to go on a job with her. Once the blonde was no longer too busy and agreed to go on a job with her close friend, Cana would confess her feelings. She just hoped that Lucy felt the same way.
Levy laughed along with her best friend, enjoying the sight of the laughing blonde across from her. She felt her heart pick up speed and her stomach flip as her cheeks warmed into a light blush. The pair had been laughing at a joke that the blue-haired woman had said. She watched as Lucy pushed her newest chapter toward her and said with a sly smile, "I think that this chapter will be your favorite."
The bookworm accepted the chapter with a gentle smile. She was about to begin reading it when her best friend lamented, "I had to write it three times because my team kept destroying the chapter."
Levy gave her an almost pained smile. She knew that it was typical Team Natsu, but she still didn't like that Natsu, Gray, and Erza had made it a habit of breaking into Lucy's apartment and damaging it, even destroying the chapters of her novel. Levy wished that her best friend would put her foot down with her team, but Lucy loved Team Natsu, so she put up with their antics.
The blue-haired mage waved her hand dismissively, saying with a smile, "maybe you could keep them in a safe. That might save them."
Lucy nodded thoughtfully, responding, "maybe."
Levy then set the chapter aside, deciding that she wanted to talk to Lucy for a bit longer before she delved into the chapter that she had been waiting weeks for. She asked, "anybody you have your eye on?" She raised an eyebrow suggestively to drive in her point. She chuckled as she watched Lucy blush heavily and frantically deny that she was interested in anybody.
Levy was in love with her best friend. She had long accepted that fact. She knew that many of her guildmates would swear up and down that she was interested in Gajeel, however, that wasn't true. The dragon slayer was simply a very close friend. The letter mage would admit to herself that she loved Lucy, but she was unable to confess her feelings to the woman of her affections.
She had lamented to Gajeel, who was surprisingly supportive and encouraged her to take that bold step. The Iron Dragon Slayer would very often advise his small friend to simply confess to Lucy while they were talking about the latter's novel. It was an unspoken rule within the guild that the two women weren't to be interrupted when they were talking about literature. Levy knew that this was a good piece of advice. Nobody would bother them so she would be able to confess her love to her best friend with no interruptions.
However, this was easier said than done. Levy watched as Lucy calmed herself, playfully demanded for her to start reading the chapter, and walk away to get a strawberry milkshake. The letter mage picked up the chapter. She would confess eventually. She knew that she would.
Mira sat a mug of alcohol in front of Cana and turned to Levy, who sat one stool away from the brunette as she read a book, asking with a smile, "do you want anything, Levy?" The blue-haired woman shook her head, eyes still locked on the book in her hands. Mira nodded and looked back at Cana, inquiring, "are you planning to go on a job soon, Cana?"
The brunette sat down her mug before she could take a sip, giving a large smirk as she answered, "I'm planning to take Lucy on a job!" This statement got the attention of Mira, Levy, and Erza, the third woman having been in the middle of walking by to ascend the staircase that lead to the second floor of the guildhall so she could get an S-Class job.
Levy turned and remarked to Cana, feeling an inkling of jealousy settle in her stomach and begin growing, "really? You and Lucy must be awfully close then."
The card mage raised an eyebrow, saying with a slight laugh in her tone, "I sure hope so. I plan on telling her that I love her on the job."
This reveal caused Levy to snap her book closed, Erza to jump toward the bar and stare down at Cana, and Mira to slam her hands down on the bar. All three women had fixed a glare onto the card mage. Cana questioned as she crossed her arms over her chest, already understanding the reason behind the glares of the three other women, "is there a problem?" It was clear from her tone of voice that her question was a rhetorical one.
Mira gritted her teeth and sneered, "you are not going to do that!"
Cana glared at the white-haired woman. "Why not? I thought you loved when guildmates got together." Her tone was calm in an almost eerie way.
Mira bit back, "not when one of those guildmates is Lucy! You aren't going to ask her out because I am!"
Before Cana could say anything else, Erza snapped, "neither of you have a chance with Lucy! I'm her closest female friend, so naturally, I have a better chance with her!"
The three women snapped their attention toward the red-haired mage. Levy almost growled, "you are not her closest female friend! I am! I'm her best friend!"
The four mages then began arguing about which of them had a better chance with Lucy, and which of them would be better for her. They hadn't gotten far into their argument until Natsu yelled to them, "Erza! Your cat-crazy friend is here!"
The four mages turned to look at Natsu, who sat with Lucy and Gray at their table, pointing toward the guild's doors where a person in a black cloak stood. Confused, Erza walked around and had only taken a few steps toward the figure when they took off the hood of their cloak, revealing Millianna.
The requip mage gasped and was about to bound over to her childhood friend to engulf her in a hug when a squeal broke through the guildhall. Everyone, Erza, Mira, Levy, and Cana included, watched as an elated Lucy run to Millianna, jumped into her open arms, and slammed her lips onto the other woman's in a passionate kiss.

cr.
You love baking.
It’s what got you through the years of high school, through your grandparent’s passing and when home wasn’t the refuge you wanted it to be. For a long time, baking was the only real interest you had. And for great reasons too. It was magic and every time you stepped into the kitchen, you felt like a magician, pouring ingredients in, mixing to get an instant product.    It’s chemistry with a sweet result. Something you can share with others.   And that passion has only deepened over time. You love baking desserts, pastries, cakes, tarts, everything. Even things with chocolate, no matter how hard it is to master them.   But fuck. Lemon meringue pie is an absolute bitch.   “The pie filing is a bit watery.” The teacher places her tasting fork down. “Not too bad, but lots of room for improvement, you two. Watch that starch.”   You and Jungkook sigh. This was your second attempt too. You swear this dessert is a nightmare in disguise and here to ruin your career.   Taehyung notices the gloomy atmosphere bogging you and Jungkook down. He slides up to your counter after the teacher goes to judge the next pair that have finished. “Can I get a taste?”   “Knock yourself out.” The boy beside you pushes the sad pie over to him.   Taehyung eats, tasting it thoughtfully on his palate, and hums.   “The crust is a bit soggy, huh?”   “I don’t get what we did wrong,” you mutter.   At least this was just practice and not a time-constricted examination. But so much for picking Jungkook as your partner. You thought he was the most competent baker in this class and thus the most worthy to bake with you. But maybe you gave him too much credit.   “Well, there could be a number of things you did wrong. Maybe you boiled your cornstarch for too long or at too high of a temperature. When did you add in the lemon? The acidity might’ve destroyed your cornstarch’s ability to stay thick,” Taehyung points out, suddenly an expert on pies. “Also did you make sure the lemon filing was hot before you spread the meringue? That might be your issue as to why the filing is a watery mess. Try again, guys. Maybe you’ll succeed next time.”   “What the fuck.” Jungkook has his brows furrowed, eyes narrowed into slits. Like you, he’s baffled. He doesn’t even process it and is unable to think of a comeback to Taehyung’s condescending tone.    Taehyung is an idiot. Usually. Since when did he know better than the two best people in class?   “Want a taste of ours?” A huskier voice sounds behind Taehyung. The brunette moves aside and you find Yoongi at the counter beside yours, a smirk plastered on his face. He sets down his lemon meringue pie. It looks similar to yours.   “Sure.”   You wonder what their pie’s issue is. But as you dig into the slice they cut and put it on your tongue, there’s an explosion of flavour.   Their crust is buttery and crispy, meringue fluffy on your tongue and soft. The filling is sweet yet balanced with a citrus sharpness to the flavour. You almost cream your pants as you swallow. Your mouth is watering for another lick, but you have too much dignity and pride to do so.   Unfortunately, Jungkook can’t hide his expression as well as you can.   “Good, right?” Both Taehyung and Yoongi are wearing shit eating grins, obviously relishing in your reactions. “The teacher said it was the best she’s tasted in a long time. Asked us if we cheated and bought it at a bakery.”   “This’ll probably be our last attempt.” Yoongi hums, crossing his arms. “Probably don’t need to try again. She said she’d give it an A anyway, and you can’t really get any better than that.”   You take a deep breath and grab Jungkook by the shoulder to drag him back to the counter with as much dignity as you have left.   //   The scent of lemon is stuck to your skin permanently. Even with a change of clothes and your apron stuffed in your locker, you can still smell the damn thing when you’re miles away from the kitchen.   “Can you smell that or am I going crazy?”   “No.” Jungkook already knows what you’re talking about. “I can smell it too.”   “God.” You bang on the door and Jimin opens it. “Hey, Chim.”   “Hey, guys.” The two of you step inside where the others have already gotten started, playing Super Smash on the TV with Yoongi and Taehyung battling against one another. It’s not an unusual sight, but what makes you stop in your tracks is that—   “Aeri?”   Your friend is seated on the couch with Hoseok’s arm looped around her casually. “Hey.” She greets you with a shy smile.   You nod, rather impressed at this new development. “I didn’t know you’d be here.”   “I didn’t either,” she admits and Hoseok grins at you.   You throw your bag down while Jungkook flops beside Yoongi, taking a controller to join in.   “Gonna play?” Jimin asks, about to hand you a controller too but you shake your head.   “Nah. Not yet. I’m starving.” You pat your stomach and walk to the kitchen, ready to raid the fridge of whatever it has.   “Don’t eat the meringue pie!” Yoongi shouts after you.   “Fuck you,” you spit without looking back. “I wouldn’t even if you paid me to.”   Now that’s one huge lie. But you still have your pride to hold onto.   “Let me join you.” Aeri gets up and scrambles from Hoseok’s arm much to his dismay.    You hum, peeking into the fridge and purposely overlooking the beautiful, godly pie in the middle. Min Yoongi must’ve placed it there to mock you on purpose. That fucker would.   But you aren’t swayed and you grab the jars of peanut butter and strawberry jam as well as the stale bread. You place the ingredients on the counter to slap a sandwich together.   In the meanwhile, Aeri lingers on the other side of the island. “How was your day?” she asks.   “Good,” you answer and don’t beat around the bush— “So you’re dating Jung?”   She coughs, sputters, caught off guard by your question. “Well…..I-I don’t know.” You loll your head to the side, giving her a look, and the blush on her cheeks deepen in hue. “Maybe? I don’t know…..it’s...kind of my first time….”   “Being in a relationship? Yeah, I get it.” You smile reminiscently. Even if you’ve lost a comrade to the curse called love, you can’t feel bitter about it. You know what it’s like — the excitement, butterflies, nervousness, how every touch got your heart racing into what you thought would put you into cardiac arrest. The innocence of a first love can never be repeated. “Do you like him?”   “Y-Yeah. I think so.” Aeri struggles to explain how she feels and makes wild gestures without realizing. “Every time I see him and every time he’s gone….I...I….”   “You miss him.”   The girl in the sweater nods and tugs on her sleeves self-consciously. “Sometimes I get really anxious that I’m doing something wrong and other times I’m so happy.”   “Yeah, that’s how it goes. Love’s a crazy thing, huh?” You spread the peanut butter on one side of the bread. “Fucks with your brain real bad.”   “It does,” Aeri agrees sheepishly. “And I don’t like being out of control with my feelings, but I think….it’s worth it.”   “I’m jealous.” The words come out before you can stop it, but then you reel back and you laugh it off, slapping both halves of your sandwich together. “Not really. I’m kidding. Anyway, take it slow and you’ll be fine. Hoseok’s a good guy. You have nothing to worry about.”   “Yeah, I know.” She grins, rocking back from her heel to her toes, beaming with joy.   “And if he ever hurts you, tell me.” You slam the butter knife you have in hand onto the counter and it makes her jolt in surprise. “I’ll kill him.”   Giggles bubble out of Aeri's throat. They diminish as you finish making your sandwich, tossing your tools into the sink. But she doesn’t easily let go of the slight envy you had accidentally expressed. “You’re doing okay, right, Y/N?”   “Things couldn’t be better,” you assure with a grin.   Except that’s a lie too.   The both of you arrive back to the living room and your ears perk, catching wind of a husky voice, “—pie is good enough to win the competition, guaranteed, so that’s why we signed up.”   If there was one thing in your life that could be better, it would be Min Yoongi and Kim Taehyung’s humbleness or rather, lack thereof.    “Are you still talking about your pie, Yoongi?” You scoff, flopping down to the couch, and eyeing him with a cocked brow. Aeri slides back beside Hoseok in the meanwhile and the dark-haired man is visibly happy to have her return to his side, arm coming to drape the back of the couch again. “You have no other accomplishments to rave about?”   “At least I have one.”   “It wasn’t even that good,” you tell the rest of them just for the record.   But Yoongi audibly scoffs. “Really? Because it looked like Kook here was about to start crying.”   “Jungkook always looks like he’s about to cry when he’s put on the spot.”   Your kitchen partner turns his head away from the screen towards you. “Excuse me?”   “Just admit it,” Taehyung eggs you on to further irritate you. “Our lemon meringue pie was the best thing you’ve ever tasted and that we’re going to crush the other teams.”   “After we pick up that five hundred dollar prize, I might as well retire.” Yoongi stretches out his muscles with a small smirk. “I finally found the product I can sell for the rest of my life.”   “Gordon Ramsay would probably put it on his menu to serve,” Taehyung says to his partner who shrugs nonchalantly.    “I wouldn’t be surprised.”   You whirl your head to the other people in the room to see if they’re hearing this like you are.   Both Jimin and Aeri are sheepish and shrug at you, not knowing what to say. Hoseok grins, enjoying the back and forth. But you know that look on Jungkook’s face, the expression he exchanges with you. The two of you are pissed off at their cockiness.   Hoseok notices and decides to throw gasoline into the fire. “Was it really that good?”   “You can try it if you want. It’s still in the fridge.” The corner of Yoongi’s lips curl. “But it’s better than Y/N and Jungkook’s, that’s for sure.”   “A lot better than theirs,” Taehyung says in a matter of fact way. “Theirs was sad, the filing and crust soggy. The meringue was weeping too. What a shame.”   “Can’t blame them,” Yoongi adds as he leans back into the couch, spreading his thighs like he owns the damn place. Which he does. But that’s not the point. “Lemon meringue is hard to make. Only the best. Excellent. Competent. Most talented can bake it.”   “That’s right,” Taehyung agrees.   A muscle in your cheek twitches. Your jaw clamps.   That’s enough for you to snap. “Jungkook and I are competing too.”   Your partner looks away from the game and quirks a brow. “We are?”   “Yeah.” Your eyes flicker from him back to the grinning duo. “So we’ll see who the best really is.”   //   It hindsight, it was a bad, bad decision made on impulse.   The baking competition was taking place on a Sunday at school with four teams already signed up, including Taehyung and Yoongi. The competition itself isn’t too shabby, especially considering that the five hundred dollar prize is a great incentive.    The problem is you and Jungkook haven’t prepared anything whatsoever. And it’s a problem that explains why most students don’t do bake-offs — sometimes it’s more effort than it’s worth.   The pair of you haven’t decided anything. You both haven’t practiced.    “Are you sure this is a good idea?” Jungkook asks, standing in front of the bulletin board with all the details of said competition happening within the next few days.   “Come on, Jeon!” You try to ignore your own doubts by firing him up, plopping a hand on his shoulder. “We have our pride and our dignity on the line.”   “I’ve never had too much dignity to begin with,” he mutters.   “Are you really going to let Yoongi and Taehyung tell you that they’re more competent than you?”   Jeon Jungkook scoffs, his competitiveness being poked at. “Yoongi can’t pipe for shit and the only thing Taehyung can bake is bread.”   “Exactly.”   He nods and together, the two of you sign your names on the sheet, bracing for whatever is to come.
Tumblr media
The day of the competition arrives sooner than expected.   You’ve gathered at an open kitchen with all your friends watching on the risers at the sidelines, and two of those most annoying idiots are at the counter beside you. There are ninety minutes on the clock and three teachers you know seated at the front with bright smiles. Mrs. Pham is nodding her head, Mr. Chu looking around while Miss. Kang coming forward with a microphone.   Something that should be a friendly contest has you, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Yoongi oozing an intense competitiveness that has the other three teams scared.   “Alright folks, when the timer begins, you can begin and get whatever ingredients you need from the pantry. Remember, you will be judged on taste, presentation and creativity equally! Try your hardest and have good sportsmanship!”   “Ready?” You lean in to whisper to Jungkook, eyes meeting his and he nods sternly.   “Is everyone ready?” Miss Kang lifts her arm and on three counts, grins. “Go!”   The timer begins and Jungkook books it to the pantry with Taehyung is hot on his tail.   In the meanwhile, you preheat the oven to four hundred degrees fahrenheit and grease two baking sheets that are already at your counter. Jungkook ends up coming back sweaty but with a basket of things you need and doesn’t seem to be missing anything.   “Nice.”   “Course, I have it all up here.” He mischievously taps his temple, making you lightly scoff.   “Hand me the—”   Before you can finish your sentence, Jungkook slides the butter across the countertop and you catch it.    “I got you.” The boy in the white apron winks, making you roll your eyes.   You combine one cup of butter and two cups of water in a large saucepan, putting it over medium heat. At the same time, Jungkook works in sync with you and gets two cups of flour prepared with a half teaspoon of salt.   Right when the butter finishes melting, you remove it from the heat and whisk in the flour and salt. He puts the egg carton beside you and begins to chop the semi-sweet chocolate he had gotten from the pantry.   Beside you, Yoongi and Taehyung have fallen into a rhythm as well. They shout calmly at one another, as calm as shouting can be. You know they’re not to be underestimated, but it’s comforting to know that you don’t need to win — you just need to beat Yoongi and Taehyung.   Miss. Kang approaches the pair of them. “What are you two doing here? Ooh, Yoongi, looks like you’re making pie crust and Taehyung you’re making working on some filing?”   “It’s lemon meringue pie,” Taehyung says with a grin, flickering his eyes up.   The teacher is genuinely impressed. “A classic, but one with great difficulty to master. I’m excited to taste it. Are you nervous at all?”   “Not really,” he responds. “Our pie is the best.”   “I am loving that confidence, you two. Keep it up!”   She continues around and as you’re working, you hear the team behind you are making rhubarb cherry pie. Another team is working on mocha truffle cheesecake and the last, a duo diagonal to you, is baking blueberry bread pudding.   It seems like everyone has a solid plan, but you don’t dwell or pay too much mind. You focus on beating the eggs into the mixture one at a time until the batter is smooth.   “What a lovely sight to see, Jungkook and Y/N!” Miss. Kang is ecstatic to see the two of you working together. Especially when she was the one who paired you both to the internship happening in two months while being completely aware of the bitter feud that was going on back then. “And what are you two making today on this beautiful afternoon?”   “We’re making croquembouche,” Jungkook says with a smile as he finishes chopping his chocolate. His announcement seems to get the attention of the other contestants, Yoongi and Taehyung whipping up their heads to look as well.   The teacher is taken aback. “And you’re making that in an hour and a half?”   “That’s the plan.” Jungkook grins with that bunny smile of his, channeling that Jeon charm of that almost has you rolling your eyes yet again.   “It will be very impressive if you two can pull it off. Well, good luck!”   Miss. Kang walks another round before waltzing back to where Mrs. Pham and Mr. Chu are waiting. She must murmur something to them because their eyes suddenly widen and they look over at your station.   Jungkook works on spooning the choux dough into twenty four small rounds on each baking sheet and once it’s in the oven, the timer sets for half an hour.    “It’s in.”   “Good.”   Quickly, you wash the raspberries and leave them to dry before preparing the caramel mixture. You pour the sugar into a saucepan and then add two thirds cup of water, allowing sugar to boil and you move to prepare the ice water.    Jungkook, on the other hand, heats the one cup of heavy whipping cream until it shimmers and pours chocolate over it. He stirs until it’s all melted and lets it sit to return to room temperature after sprinkling in coarse sea salt.   Once the choux is golden brown, it’s out of the oven and both you and Jungkook work side by side to pipe the ganache into the choux.   “Twenty minutes left everyone!” Mrs. Pham announces.   “I’ll grab the caramel,” Jungkook says and you nod, going to get the serving plate.   The both of you work fast. You dip the choux into the caramel and leave it on the tray for Jungkook to begin assembly. But in the midst of working, he notices your hands beginning to shake.   “Hey, Y/N.” He calls you softly and your eyes flicker up. “It’s going to be okay. We’re doing well.”   You nod. It’s calming to have his reassurance and you finish dipping all forty eight in while Jungkook forms them into a cone shape, towering up to your eyes. You bring over the caramel, the consistency that of syrup, and you lightly drizzle around the choux pastry puffs. The thin threads of caramel wrap around the dessert, gold and glistening in the light.   Jungkook’s brows furrow, placing the raspberries between them in the last few remaining seconds.   “Here.” You help him.   “Ten….nine….eight….seven….six….” Mr. Chu is counting down, watching the timer go off. Then it rings. “Alright folks, step away from your plates, please!”   It looks like all the teams have finished on time, and the scent of baking surrounds your senses — breads, chocolates, and cooked sugar. The air is sweet.   You look over and Yoongi and Taehyung are grinning. Their perfect lemon meringue pie is on their counter, exactly replicated from last time. But your eyes move back at your own dish, and you find pride blooming in your chest. The french dessert stands tall, choux pastry puffs piled into a cone shape and bound with threads of caramel wrapped around it.    On the sidelines, Jimin, Aeri and Hoseok are cheering, and while you’re not sure if it’s for the other team or your own, you like to think both of you deserve it.   “I think we did pretty well, if I do say so myself.” Jungkook gives you a cheeky smile, getting you to high five him.   You giggle after your hands slap together. “I think so too. Ours has the best presentation that’s for sure. It’s only about taste now.”   “I’m sure we’ll be fine. Well...I don’t know about your pastry, but my ganache filling is…” He does a chef’s kiss, gathering his fingertips together to kiss against them and then opening up his hand.   You scoff. “Please, Jeon. If there’s any issue, it’s going to be the caramel or the ganache. My pastry is perfect. I would know. My specialty is going to be in pastries.”   Jungkook grins, expression all too playful. “Okay, we’ll see then.”   The three judges go around, giving a taste to all the dishes and giving compliments. As expected, their eyes bulge at Yoongi and Taehyung’s pie, and Taehyung seems to charm them too. All of them laugh, openly wondering if they somehow cheated and slipped in a pie from a gourmet bakery.   “Very fluffy and crisp. Absolutely delicious.”   Mr. Chu bobs his head in approval. “I’m not much of a pie person myself, but very well done.”   “Thank you.” Yoongi offers a modest smile.   They move on, having nice things to say about everyone with few criticisms. And when they come over to you two, they’re smiling and all the contestants pay close attention. “Now to the dessert of the hour.”   “It’s incredible that the pair of you managed to make croquembouche in an hour and a half. It can take some up to four hours, so I’m very impressed over your ambition,” Miss. Kang admits, “There was a point I thought you weren’t going to make it. But you worked hard and finished it off, so well done.”   “A very tedious and painstaking dessert to make,” Mrs. Pham notes. “But you both work well together if you can pull off something like this under such strict time conditions.”   “Exceptional teamwork,” Mr. Chu agrees.    They each take a choux from the top onto their plates with raspberries, and a bit of caramel. When they bite into the pastry, they quirk their brows in surprise. “It isn’t pastry cream?” Miss. Kang chews thoughtfully. “It’s salted ganache.”   “Jungkook works well with chocolate and I work well with pastries so we decided to combine both our skills and put a twist to the usual croquembouche,” you explain.   “Very creative!”   “The salted ganache is also bittersweet and the choux is very crisp,” Mr. Chu says as he swallows. “Typically the choux has to be chilled in the fridge, but in spite of skipping that step, I cannot taste the difference. The raspberry is a good touch as well and not just for presentation.”   Mrs. Pham nods at him. “It’s crunchy and has a good bitter note to lessen the sweetness of the caramel. It’s perfect.”   “Well done, you two!” Miss. Kang grabs for another. Once they finish up, they take a step back. “We’ll take ten minutes to decide the final results!”   After the announcement is made, they return to their places at the front as Yoongi and Taehyung slink over.   “I’ll admit…” Yoongi ganders at your tower of pastries. “This is pretty damn extra.”   “We take challenges seriously,” you chime with a grin and he smirks.   “Can I have one?” Taehyung asks, fingers itching, eyes glimmering. “They made it sound so good.”   “Sure.” But you stop him before he can grab one. “On one condition. I get a slice of your pie.”   “Deal.”   “So you admit it.” Yoongi cocks his brow, smiling. “Our pie is delicious.”    “I never said it tasted bad.” You mischievously shrug.   “I want a slice too,” Jungkook says as he leans over. “Or two.”   Yoongi takes a choux off of your tower and grins. “Fine by me.”   While Taehyung moans about how good your croquembouche tastes, the other contestants come swarming over, curious and wanting one as well. Jimin shouts from the sidelines to save him one and Jungkook hands them out. In the meanwhile, you go over with Yoongi to claim a slice of the meringue pie and get Jungkook’s before it’s all gone too.   “Think you’re gonna win?”   Yoongi shrugs, surprisingly not as arrogant as before. “Maybe. We’ll see.”   You lightly scoff at him. “Where did that confidence go?”   But the dark-haired man merely shrugs. He cuts you a piece and you don’t hesitate to dig in. Yoongi smiles when he sees you openly enjoying the pie without restraint and then his eyes travel across the room to where Jungkook is still happily handing out the pastries. “So this is what the dream team can cook up, huh?”   “Dream team?” You frown.   “Yeah. You and Kook,” he says it like it’s obvious. “You two are the ultimate pair. What? You’ve never heard people say that before?”   “People? Who?”   His shoulders bounce nonchalantly. “Classmates. Teachers. I’ve heard it a few times and it’s true. You make up for what the other person lacks and you work well together. It was easier to deal with when the two of you still hated one another, but now that the top two kids can work with each other, it sucks for the rest of us.”   You burst out laughing. “You just have a lot to catch up on, Min. Don’t fall behind on me and Jeon.”   “Kind of hard not to when you’re both maniacs.”   Jungkook comes barrelling over for his piece of pie before you can eat it.   You also try other contestants’ desserts before the judges return, making you all scramble back to your stations.   “The results are in!” Miss Kang announces with a bright smile. “Everyone did exceptionally well today and it was difficult to come to a decision, but there’s a team in here today that was just exceptional and demonstrated that it’s possible to push the limits on taste, creativity, and presentation!”   You look over to Jungkook and he grabs your hand, bracing for it. “Please give a round of applause to our winners—”   Suddenly you’re being picked up.   Jungkook has his arms wrapped around you and lifts you off your feet, swinging you around. After a second, he sets you down onto your feet again, but you’re bewildered. There are claps from the few in the audience, the contestants and teachers applauding and all staring at you and Jungkook.    Aeri, Hoseok, and Jimin are on the stands cheering loudly. Yoongi is smiling while nodding in approval. Taehyung is grinning. And Jungkook places his palms to your cheeks. Your mouth forms into fish lips, face squished together, and he makes you look at him. Your dazed eyes meet his.   “We won!”   “We….won?” You blink. His doe eyes are glimmering like there are stars captured in his dark irises. Jungkook’s pretty — you never really thought about that before. “We. won. We won?!”   You can’t believe it. But after some words of congratulations, it sinks in.   “We won, you freaking idiot!” You jump on your feet and hug Jungkook again. He smells like chocolate and sugar, his apron dirty against yours, but you don’t particularly care. Not in this moment. “You’re not such an idiot, after all!”   Jungkook laughs, boyish features scrunched up. You smile at him.   Maybe Yoongi’s right. No. You know he is — you and Jungkook are the ultimate duo. Like two socks that make a pair, like two magnets that attach, like dumb and dumber. And you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tumblr media
“Hey, Jungkook!” Baekhyun approaches him in between their class break, and they fist bump each other. “I heard you won that competition with Y/N. Congrats, man.”   “Thanks.”   “How’s it going by the way? Haven’t seen you in a while.” The two of them are not necessarily close, but they became friends in last semester’s sanitation and safety class where they both died of boredom together.   “As great as it can be with exam season coming up.”   “Yeah, it’s tough.” Baekhyun sympathizes with a sigh. “Business communications is destroying me. Like I need to get at least a ninety on the finals to pass the course.”   Jungkook sharply inhales. “That’s rough, dude.”   “But hey, after this then it’s just our internships. That’s the only thing getting me through it. That and my girlfriend. Oh yeah, you were going to do wedding cakes, right? How do you feel about it?”   “I’m still not sure,” Jungkook admits and then without thinking much, says, “The only thing getting me through it is being able to hang with Y/N.”   He hasn't seen you since the competition which was two days ago, but it’s still a long time. Especially when he’s used to you plopping down beside him during breakfast, lunch or dinner — when he’s used to you banging your fist on his dorm room — when he gets texts with you whining about period cramps — when you come from nowhere and pester him till the end of the world.   Jungkook’s still buzzing over the victory, but it’s been tough days one after another. The only thing that gets him through it is finally being able to see you and spend some time with you.    These days Jungkook prefers being with you anyway as opposed to hanging out with Yoongi, Taehyung, Jimin, and Hoseok. They’re noisy and always worsen his headache. Sure you like to purposely egg him on and tease him, but your company is still peaceful and worthwhile. Most of the time.   “So you two are finally dating?”   “What? No. No, we aren’t.” Jungkook laughs it off. It’s an odd idea that still sends shivers down his spine.   “Oh, okay, my bad.” Baekhyun smiles. “It’s just that I see you both hanging around together a lot and I’ve heard you talk about her a lot too.”   “Yeah, we’re friends.”   “So you’d be okay with it if she dated someone else?” he suddenly asks.   “Uh…” Jungkook’s caught off guard, mouth opening before closing like a fish out of water. “I guess?”   “You guess?” He pauses. Jungkook flashes him an odd look and Baekhyun laughs loudly, lifting his hands and backing off. “Sorry, I don’t mean to intrude or be annoying. It just reminded me of before my girlfriend and I got together.”    “It was kind of hard to tell where the line of friendship and romance was and then one day I realized that friends don’t really miss each other in the way that partners do. Like when you miss them when it’s only been a short period of time, like a day or two. But anyway,” Baekhyun sing-songs, “I shouldn’t stick my nose into anywhere it belongs. I know I tend to do that and Jessica always yells at me for being rude. Oh shoot. I should get going now before I’m late. See you around?”   “Y-Yeah….See you.”   Baekhyun smiles and walks away, not knowing the bomb he just dropped.    Jungkook’s brows furrow and he begins to dangerously wonder.    He wonders if he’s supposed to miss you like this when it’s only been two full days. If he’s supposed to come to you every time something goes wrong. If he’s supposed to think of you every time there’s good news. If he’s supposed to think of you this much.   Friends aren’t supposed to think about each other like this.

Summary: Erza and Mirajane remember the first time they fought side by side. [Erza/Mirajane]
Link: AO3
Notes: Erzajane Week 2021, Day 2. Prompt: Memory.
Here’s my little entry for the Erzajane week. I've never written a fanfiction about them so I hope it came out pretty well. Hope you like it!
On the same side
“Was that really the first time you fought side by side?” Freed asked in surprise and Mirajane nodded with a chuckle, while Erza listened in silence, too busy eating the strawberry cake. Laxus leaned against Freed with a small hint of a smile.
“So, we can say that your alliance started thanks to us,” he commented.
“Oh, not at all, it was a coincidence and the next day we started fighting again” said Mirajane and turned to Erza “Right?”. The redhead nodded.
“Freed, this cake is very good” she said taking another piece and the boy smiled, a little amused and a little pleased. The four guys hadn’t planned to see each other, but Erza and Mirajane had decided to get away from the guild and have a picnic. Apparently, they had had the same idea as Freed and Laxus, and now they found themselves together in a small clearing not far from Magnolia.
They were all sitting on blankets and had decided to share food -even though it was just Erza stealing Freed’s cake not getting enough of Mirajane’s cake.
The funny thing was that they had found themselves together in the same clearing where all four had once fought when they were still teenagers. From there the discussion had arisen and they had discovered that this was the first moment in which Erza and Mirajane had joined forces.
“Erza, we were talking about our first team effort,” Mirajane pointed out. Erza nodded.
“Yes, I remember,” she said. “I saw that Freed and Laxus were both fighting you and it wasn’t fair, so I intervened,” she declared.
“That’s not exactly what happened,” Freed said immediately.
“No, in fact. Laxus had instigated me and we started fighting. Freed was only there for moral support,” Mirajane commented. “Then you stepped in and so did Freed,” she recalled. Laxus and Freed nodded, it was really like that, Erza at that time had misunderstood seeing Freed next to Laxus.
“Well, we kicked your ass anyway,” the redhead commented and took another piece of cake sprinkling whipped cream on top, while Laxus rolled his eyes.
“I wouldn’t say it, it ended in a draw,” he said.
“No, we won,” Mirajane agreed. “You ran away,” she added with a chuckle as Freed snorted lightly.
“We left because we had better things to do,” he said and Mirajane shook her head again.
“You just don’t want to admit that you’ve lost.”
“We didn’t lose,” Laxus insisted crossing his arms. “We just got tired of fighting with two little girls,” he commented slightly annoyed.
“Basically, you ran away,” Mirajane said with a smirk and Erza agreed, nodding vigorously. “But you’re right. That was the first time we fought side by side, and that we had respect for each other” she continued thoughtful.
“See, even as an asshole you managed to do good things” Freed smiled at Laxus, who lightly pushed Freed by the shoulder making him smile.
“Look, it was Mirajane who instigated me, she was the bitch at that time” at those words Mirajane blushed slightly but she couldn’t object, because things had actually gone like this. Erza remained with the empty plate and became thoughtful, then smiled sweetly at the memory of that afternoon.
***
“They ran away!” Mirajane blurted out, stamping her foot on the ground and Erza gasped a bit, still tired from her effort. She glanced at her guildmate, who kept ranting pissed off against the trees, beating her fists everywhere. At least she was back to her normal shape, so she didn’t risk ruining the woods any more than they already had. Erza stood up and ran her hands over the skirt, brushing off the dirt and dust, and Mirajane turned to her.
“They got tired of fighting with two little girls, they said. The truth is that they’re cowards!” Mirajane exclaimed again, pissed off.
“Yes, you’re right,” Erza said. Mirajane blinked perhaps surprised by the statement and crossed her arms under the breast, glancing from her head to her feet.
“You’re not bad as a teammate, but I could’ve beaten Dreyar alone, I didn’t need your help,” she declared arrogantly.
“It was two against one, it wasn’t valid,” Erza said. “And then I’ve wanted to fight Dreyar for a while,” she added, blushing slightly and turning away, so that the girl wouldn’t notice. It was a half lie, the other reason why she joined the battle was because she had finally seen a crack to get along with the girl. But she didn’t want Mirajane to know.
The girl, however, raised an eyebrow, perhaps not convinced of her statement.
“Really? You never showed interest in fighting that asshole,” Mirajane commented as she approached and Erza persisted in looking at the river, slightly uncomfortable. Stubbornly she nodded.
“Yeah, really,” she said and decided to change the subject so Mirajane wouldn’t focus on her. “Rather, why were you fighting them?”. Mirajane snorted and waved vaguely with her hand.
“I teased them a bit because they were so close they seemed to be kissing, and Dreyar was pissed off,” she said with a shrug and Erza blushed even more. Shit, that wasn’t what she wanted to talk about. She remained silent not knowing what to say and Mirajane put the hands on her hips and leaned towards her. “Why are you red, Scarlet?” she asked.
“I’m not red!” Erza exclaimed. “I just... there’s nothing wrong with kissing, and you shouldn’t make fun of people for that,” she added, a little nervous. She didn’t want to talk about it, but the damage was done now and she didn’t know what to say. Mirajane raised an eyebrow and grinned.
“Are you also one of those people who like soppy things? What great bullshit,” she said and turned to the side, looking at the great chasm the four had created fighting earlier. For a moment she became thoughtful and Erza watched curiously as her expression softened for a moment. A few seconds later, however, Mirajane returned to having her usual arrogant smile and turned to her. “So, who are you snogging with?” she asked.
That question was enough to make Erza blush even more.
“Nobody!” she immediately exclaimed. “I don’t even know how you came up with such a thing,” she added.
“Why should you defend that asshole then?” asked Mirajane and again looked at her, narrowing her gaze “Unless you want to kiss with someone who’s not interested in you.” Erza now felt her cheeks burning. She had also thought about getting along with the girl. What had gone through her mind? Mirajane was just a bitch, she just enjoyed teasing her.
Erza nervously turned around.
“I’m not interested in anyone,” she said harshly, but, maybe because of her red cheeks, maybe because she avoided looking at her guildmate, Mirajane didn’t believe her. Erza almost thought of punching her just to avoid being stared at like that, but in that moment Mirajane relaxed her posture and tone of voice.
“Are you embarrassed because you’re like them too? Do you like girls?” she asked. Erza choked on her saliva and coughed as she felt her face burn even more.
“No!” she exclaimed in an annoyingly shrill tone and Mirajane shrugged.
“Quiet Scarlet, your secret is safe with me,” she said with a sincere smile and Erza didn’t answer, not knowing what to say. She didn’t want to confirm what she had assumed, but neither did she want to be arrogant since for once Mirajane hadn’t been a bitch. So, she decided not to answer at all.
“It was fun to fight by your side for once,” Erza said, her gaze still fixed on the clearing and her cheeks still slightly red. At least she had managed to regain control from before. She didn’t notice Mirajane’s sincere smile.
“Yes” she agreed “Was that armor you used against Dreyar new?” Mirajane asked.
“The Lightning Empress Armor?” Erza asked and she nodded without waiting for an answer. “Yes”.
“Well, you definitely would’ve beaten Dreyar with that.”
“And Justine couldn’t do anything against your demon,” Erza said.
The two girls continued to stare the clearing. Erza with her arms crossed, Mirajane with the hands on her hips. They both had smiles on their faces.
“No, he couldn’t do anything,” Mirajane agreed.
“Besides, it’s easy for them, they always fight side by side,” Erza said. “It was the first time for us and we kicked their asses”.
“Yeah,” Mirajane said. The two girls turned at the same time and exchanged smiles. “No doubt we would’ve kicked their asses,” she agreed. For a moment they looked at each other, smiling, satisfied and still full of adrenaline. Then Mirajane returned to her arrogant expression.
“See you Scarlet, I have a mission to do,” she said and walked away. Erza watched her go, still thrilled with the fight she had fought. If she had teamed up with her, they would have been invincible.
But none of them cared, and so the next day Mirajane stole Elsa's strawberry slice again just to argue with her.

Hiii I have a request could you write a sickfic where felix drink a milkshake but he's lactose intolerant and Chan takes care of him? Thank you
A trip to the mall
Fandom: Stray Kids
Sickie: Felix
Caregiver: Chan
 Felix POV.:
There was one thing I really loved doing with my friends and that was going to the mall. Back in Australia my friends and I often hung out at the mall after school, mostly just window shopping because we didn’t have that much money. Now that I had a job and some money to spare, I couldn’t wait to go there with my members. Sure, Korean malls were a bit different from Australian ones but I was sure it’d be just as much fun. Sadly, not everyone was as excited as me because there’d also be the risk of being recognized by fans. Though I truly loved Stay, I was hoping to have a relaxed and fun day with my friends, living a normal life like other people my age. To avoid running into people, we all put on masks and hats, hiding as much of our faces as possible. Over breakfast we had decided to split up for most of the time at the mall because smaller groups would draw less attention.
Arriving at the mall, we parted ways. I went with Changbin, while our leader took the two maknaes and Minho teamed up with Hyunjin and Jisung. It wasn’t exactly what I had been looking for when we said we’d go shopping. A group of two was rather boring but who was I to complain, at least we were going out and I was partnered with Changbin. We visited different stores, not buying much but putting together ridiculous outfits for each other and taking a few pictures. I ended up with a pair of sneakers and new shirt, Changbin picked up a new pair of headphones and a leather jacket. It had already been hours since we arrived and I was starting to feel hungry. When I heard my hyung’s stomach imitating whale sounds, I knew he felt the same. Giggling, I poked his arm: “Hyung, should we maybe meet up with the others to have lunch?” – “That’d be awesome, I’m starving over here”, he laughed awkwardly patting his tummy. I pulled out my phone and texted the groupchat, asking for everyone to meet at the food court in about twenty minutes. That’d give them enough time to pay for what they wanted to buy but would keep us from starving as we waited.
Not too long after, I saw Hyunjin running towards us, almost tackling me to the ground. His boy was really doing an awesome job at not drawing attention. From the corners of my eyes I could see Changbin roll his eyes. Minho and Jisung followed in a light jog, panting as they came to a halt next to us. “Hyunjin, how many coffees did you have this morning? I’m too old for this”, Minho gasped. “Aish, you’re finally admitting it hyung”, Jisung teased, receiving a look that clearly stated ‘just wait till we get home’, causing the younger to hide behind Changbin. They were still bickering when the other trio joined us. Judging by the shopping bags, everyone had found at least a few pieces, so our trip already turned out a success. “Guys, as entertaining it is to watch you fight, I’m hungry. Do you really want me to starve on your watch”, I whined, pouting at Chan. Just as I hoped, the leader spoke up: “Alright everyone, decide what you want to eat, so we know whether we need to split up again or not.”
In the end we didn’t split up. Since everyone was looking for something sweet, we agreed on going to a milkshake bar together. I was glad we all stayed together as one big group this time, so I’d really get to spend some time with all of my friends, not only a handful. Chan chose a strawberry milkshake, while I ordered a cookies-and-cream one. It had only been a few minutes since we were all served our shakes, but I had already tried each of them, arguing with Hyunjin because mine was obviously so much better than his. However, there was something I didn’t realize. When I went to drink milkshakes with my friends in Sydney, we always went to a vegan store, so there was no questioning whether the shakes were prepared with plant-based milk. That was really important to me because, what my members didn’t know, was that I was lactose intolerant. Being so used to having vegan milkshakes, I completely forgot to ask for my shake to be made with plant-based milk. I had only about a quarter of my shake left when I felt my stomach rumble. Instinctively, I rested my hand on my stomach, already feeling my abdomen bloating slightly. That reminded me that most milkshakes were, as the name already said, made with milk, something I shouldn’t have. Yeah, I had had to learn that the hard way when I was younger. Realizing my mistake, I pushed the cup towards Chan and claimed I was full already.
 Chan’s POV.:
We finished our shakes and I had to admit how good of an idea it had been to come here. This trip really did make me forget about work and I was able to just have some fun with my dongsaengs. However, for the rest of the day we wanted to stick together as one big group, even if that would draw more attention towards us. It was simply more fun if everyone was together. We walked around taking selfies and just enjoying ourselves. I really wanted a pic with Felix too, that’s when I noticed my fellow Aussie trailing behind. Slowing my pace, I waited for him to catch up to me. “Oi Felix, you’re looking a bit pale there, everything ok?”, I frowned, noticing the small pout forming on his lips. “Hyung, I- I kinda messed up”, he mumbled, hugging his middle with a groan when his stomach cramped, “I’m lactose intolerant.” I froze in my spot, stunned at the new information I only learned about now: “You’re what?” – “Lactose intolerant. That’s why I always only eat one slice of pizza because that’s as much as I can get away, having only a small stomach ache. More than one slice would not end well”, my dongsaeng explained between gritted teeth.
By now the entire group had stopped walking, watching the two of us. “What made you think, having a milkshake was a good idea then? Are you insane?” – “The milkshake bar I always went to in Sydney was vegan, so I forgot about it”, he whimpered doubling over. MY irritation at his careless behavior ease and I gave him a small comforting smile. “It’s ok, Lix. Want me to take you home? The others can continue shopping a bit but I think you’re done for today.” He nodded and I looked up to talk to the other members. “It’s alright hyung, just take care of him”, Minho stated, the rest nodding along, all of them having listened in on the conversation between Felix and me. We bid our goodbyes and I called for a driver while slowly guiding Felix towards the exit. We weren’t really fast, since the younger struggled to walk with the pain in his abdomen but we still had to wait for someone to come pick us up. I made Felix sit on a bench, while we waited. The poor boy was getting paler by the minute. “Lix, what usually happens when you eat dairy?”, I hummed, wanting to know what we were going to deal with. Letting go of his shopping bags, Felix pulled his knees to his chest resting his chin on them: “Always depends how much I eat. My stomach hurts and I get bloated. If I have a lot, it usually only gets better after I throw most of it up but that hasn’t happened in years. Last time that happened, I was still really young and refused to listen to my mom. I secretly ate ice cream back then.” Despite the pain, I could see a small smile on his face at the memory. I shook my head, that really sounded like him, valuing ice cream over anything else.
“How do you feel now?”, I asked after we got settled in the back of the car. He rested his head against the window, replying in a low voice: “Queasy.” Rubbing his shoulder in sympathy, I leaned back in my seat and we spent most of the ride in silence. I thought Felix might have fallen asleep to the soothing motion of the car, when he shot upright in his seat. Starling, I looked over at him and caught a glance at his greyish lips before he clamped his hands over them. My dongsaeng’s face had drained of all color and I cursed, knowing what was going to come next. In a rush I shoved his new shirt and the shoebox into my shopping bag, holding the now empty plastic bag under his chin. Felix removed his hand from his mouth, holding the bag closer to his face with both hands. Since he was holding the bag himself, I settled for rubbing his back as a retch tore from his throat. I could feel the younger’s spine rippled as he bent over further. He coughed, which was soon followed by a splashing noise, making me cringe in sympathy. I rolled down the windows and tucked the younger’s hair behind his ears. If he kept growing it, he’d soon look like Hyunjin. Another harsh gag tore me from my thoughts and whispered words of encouragement as I continued to rub Felix’ back. Being close friends with him, I knew just how much the younger despised throwing up.
Drawing in a shaky breath, Felix lifted his head from the shopping bag and took the bag in one hand. He used the other hand to wipe at the tears, dotting his eyelashes. With his sleeve, he dried the sweat on coating his forehead and rested his head against the car seat. I searched through my backpack in hopes of having some water and maybe tissues with me asking: “Better?” When I looked back at my friend, saw him shake his head, just as ashy pale as before. His stomach rumbled and he squeezed his eyes shut before losing the battle against his stomach and diving back into the bag. “Aish, that sucks, mate”, I commented patting the younger’s back as he choked up two more waves of his milkshake. Before sitting back up and clearing his throat: “Think I’m done now.” I handed him some water and he first rinsed his mouth, taking a few careful sips afterwards. The color was slowly returning to his face and I carded my fingers through his sweaty bangs as he rested his head on my shoulder, exhausted from the ordeal. We made it through the rest of the ride okay. Felix didn’t get sick anymore but held onto the half-filled shopping bag just in case.
When the car pulled up to the dorm building, I thanked and apologized to the driver before helping Felix get out. The boy was still a bit unsteady on his feet and the arm he wrapped protectively around his middle told me he was still in pain. We walked past a trashcan on the sidewalk and Felix tied the sickbag closed, disposing of it. He had been quiet the entire time and I had just assumed he was exhausted but when he crossed the building’s entrance hall, he suddenly dashed from my side. Making it to a bin at one of the walls just in time, my dongsaeng braced his hand against the wall heaving. There wasn’t much more for him to bring up though and after retching up a small trickle, he was reduced to dry heaves. I supported his side to prevent him from toppling over. “Lixxie, you’re empty. There’s nothing left, the entire shake is out now”, I soothed but he just shook his head retching again. Sighing, I rubbed his back till he had calmed down and caught his breath. “Do you think it’s safe to move yet? It’s not that much further to our dorm” – “Mhm, I think most of it is out now anyways”, Felix rasped lowly, holding onto my arm for support as we made our way to the elevator.
I quickly typed in the code, letting us into the apartment. We kicked off our shoes and I left my backpack and shopping bag with our new clothes in the hallway. “Hyung, I’ll just sit in the bathroom for a bit longer. Still feel meh”, the young Aussie admitted and I patted his shoulder promising: “I’ll keep you company in a second, yeah? I’ll just make some tea to settle your stomach.” As promised, I soon joined my dongsaeng, offering him tea and a clean shirt, taking a seat on the bathtub. Luckily, he didn’t throw up again. We sat in silence, with Felix slowly sipping his tea before he spoke up: “Sorry, I’m usually better at avoiding situations like this. I’m not as irresponsible as you think.” – “It’s ok, Lix. I know you didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I would have just hoped you’d tell us about these kinds of things”, I sighed, “Did you at least have fun before that?” He beamed up at me, showing that kind of smile that could make anyone’s day a thousand times better: “It was amazing actually. We really need to do these things more often when the schedule allows it. I really missed being just a boy hanging out with my friends.” – “We will, we just need to watch out what we choose for lunch in the future”, I smiled, glad that everything was fine in the end.

Strawberry Mentos (Yamaguchi x Reader)
A/N: I’ve been listening to this song so much, it makes me so soft. If you haven;t already, go stream Strawberry Mentos by Leanna Firestone! I am in love with our freckled boy. I hope you guys enjoy. @hikari-writes I hope you like this!!
The jist of it: You finally get to meet your soulmate, Yamaguchi
Pairing: Yamaguchi x Reader (gn I’m pretty sure)
Word Count: 1.4k
Warnings: None, fluff :)
~
You were hopelessly in love with your soulmate. From the moment you had that first conversation on your forearm, you were hooked. You were able to communicate with your soulmate when you turned 13, anything you wrote or drew on your skin shows up on theirs, and vice versa. You remember the giddy feeling you felt during lunch when you and your friends passed around a pen, writing various things on your bodies for your soulmates to see. You had decided to write a simple ‘hi :^)’ on your wrist. Almost immediately you saw ink blossom, forming ‘hello XD’ in a surprisingly neat handwriting. You squealed like any other 13 year old would, showing your friends and talking about what you thought your soulmates were like.
From that day on, you and your soulmate talked daily, greetings in the morning, funny things that happened during the day, and sweet goodnights after the day had ended. The two of you talked about anything and everything, listing your likes and dislikes, your hopes and dreams. Over the next two years he became one of your best friends, even though the two of you had yet to meet. You had made it a habit to write little statements of encouragement on your arm when he would be playing volleyball, knowing your soulmate was insecure on his abilities. You remember how happy he was when he got on his high school team with his friend, talking about two other first years and how crazy good they are. You also remember his surprise when you told him you were joining your high school’s team as the manager, writing to him how he had gotten you interested in the sport and how you hoped the two of you would get to meet.
You smiled as you finished writing the ‘you got this service ace <3’ on your wrist and got back to the task at hand. Which was to get Lev to stop whining and to practice his receives. You were Nekoma’s manager, and unfortunately that meant being Lev’s babysitter occasionally. You sighed and put your hand on your hips, staring down at the first year, who was currently on the floor. “Lev! We have the training camp coming up, don’t you want to show your friend how much you’ve grown?” You smirked as your words worked their charm, the teen scrambling up to join Yaku in practice. You walked around some more, making sure no one needed anything, and filling in when needed.
You sat on the bench and glanced at your arm when you felt the tell-tale feeling of your soulmate writing back. ‘Our coach told us were going to a training camp in Tokyo! Is your team going?’ You gasped at the words, catching the attention of your team, who were enjoying a water break. You jumped up from the bench, hopping excitedly. Kuroo looked at you quizzically, eyebrow raised, “What’s gotten into you, (Y/N)?” You smiled, giddy feeling spreading throughout your body. “My soulmate is coming to our training camp! He just got the news from his coach! I get to meet him Kuroo!” You were shaking the captains shoulders by the time you finished talking, feeling energized, like you could take on anything. Kuroo laughed, grabbing your wrists to steady you. “Oh really? What’s his name, maybe we know him.” You stopped in your tracks, feeling stupid, Of course! Why didn’t you think of that earlier, Nekoma had played every team coming to the training camp, they must’ve played his. “His name is Yamaguchi Tadashi! He plays for a school in Miyagi, Karasuno I think.”
You were surprised at the feedback you immediately got, Lev and Yamamoto yelling about some of their friends, even Kenma looked up at you, which only confused you more. “I take it then you guys have played against them? Did you meet him, what was he like?” Kai is the one to respond to you, everyone else too busy talking about the rivalry between the two teams. Kuroo even went as far as to compare the two of you to Romeo and Juliet. You rolled your eyes at the captain, thanking Kai for his help before Yaku speaks up. “Uh, (Y/N)? Did you ever respond to him?” You blanched and scrambled for a pen, completely forgetting to respond to him in all of the excitement. ‘Oops sorry I got excited and forgot to reply lol, but yeah! We are hosting the training camp! I’m super exited to meet you!’ You smiled brightly, excitement not dimming, as you got back to practice, you were finally going to meet your soulmate.
In Miyagi, Yamaguchi thought he was going to have a heart attack. When he saw that you were indeed going to be at the training camp he got nervous, what if you didn’t like him? What if you thought he played bad and didn’t want to be soulmates anymore. Could you choose not to be soulmates anymore?! Sensing his friends distress, Tsukishima sighed and flicked Yamaguchi’s forehead, bringing the teen out of his spiral. “Oi, stop freaking out, they’re your soulmate, of course they’re going to like you.” Yamaguchi exhaled, know Tsukki was right, determination filling him. He was finally going to meet you.
The days seemed to fly by, and soon enough you were standing outside the gym with your team, eagerly awaiting Karasunos arrival. You fidgeted with your hands as you saw the bus approach. You knew what he looked like from your teammates descriptions and fuck, he sounded cute. Yaku laid a reassuring hand on your shoulder, trying to help ease some of your nerves.
You watched as the team shuffled out of the bus, watching for a mop of green hair and- wow, your team did not do him justice one bit. Kuroo snorted when he saw your open mouth expression. “Well? Are you going to go greet your soulmate?” You flushed, watching Yamaguchi look around before his gaze settled on your team. They approached and you cleared your throat, remembering you still had manager duties. “Welcome! My name is (Y/N), I’m the manager, thank you for coming!” The team echoed a greeting back, two of them going to talk to Yamamoto, and you went to go help their managers when Inuoka stopped you. “We’ll help them (Y/N), go say hi already geez.” You smiled nervously at him, turning to look at the guest team, most of which had already followed Kuroo inside, except for a few who were either talking to Hinata or Yamamoto. You furrowed your brow, you didn’t see him anymore, did he not realize it was you? Before you could move inside, a hand gently placed itself on your shoulder.
You whipped around and once again, were speechless. He had a nervous smile on his face, blush highlighting his freckles. God, he was beautiful, you thought. How in the world did you get so lucky. You coughed awkwardly when you realized you had been staring. You smiled up at him, and it felt like everything else just melted away. “Wow, you’re a lot taller than I thought you’d be.” You sighed breathlessly. He snickered, and you knew then, you were absolutely going to marry him.
``````
You smiled fondly at the memory of when you first met Tadashi, looking at the grocery list you had written on your arm, forgetting to bring paper with you. You watched as a few items had been added, in your husbands handwriting, throwing a few packs of black licorice in the basket for him. You were looking in the aisle for something else, when a pair of arms snaked around your waist, startling you. You yelped, and turned around to smack his chest, shaking your head fondly at his giggles. He held you closer, kissing your forehead. He moved to intertwine your hands, reaching over you to grab a few packs of what you were looking for. He tossed the Strawberry Mentos into the basket, squeezing your intertwined hands and pulling you along to the next aisle, mumbling about what he wanted to make for dinner tonight. You tugged on his hand, stopping him next to the pasta section. He raised a brow at you, and you only smiled, tugging him into a kiss, pinching his cheek as you did so. He smiled into the kiss and a familiar warmth spread through you, yeah, you were definitely in love with your soulmate.
Meihem Fanfic: Ice eyes
Chapter 1: Flurry
><><><><><
Begrudgingly, Jamison Fawkes followed the big ape off the plane and into the frigid temperatures. Despite being inside the damn base, the snow and ice seemed to linger in every corner of this arctic wasteland. The solid hanger doors gaped open, having allowed years of extreme low temperatures to funnel into the massive room. It was hardly livable inside, as the climate turned the metal building into a freezing icebox.
Junkrat stomped and cursed his way through the hanger, his boots caving into the piled snow blanketing the landing strip. “Ak-choo!” He sneezed, and a string of green oozed from his nose. Rubbing his hands up and down his own arms, he attempted to keep the blood in his veins from icing up into strawberry slush.
“M’fucki’n freeze’n me nuts off Monkey! Wot’s so fuck’n important, that we had ta haul our ass’s all tha way ta the tip-top ah no-where, just ta find some abandoned ol’base that no-one even lives in anymore!?”
“Language, Jamison.” Ana scolded, flinging the long end of her blue scarf over her shoulder. She stepped off the plane right behind the younger junker, stopping to adjust his winter hat for him.
“Ah, yeah. Sorry Nan.” Jamison said, and Ana patted his cheek with her soft glove. He smiled at her sheepishly, but when she turned away to join the team leader further inside the base his grumbly expression returned.
With a deeply aggravated sigh, Winston pinched the bridge of his nose. “Mr Fawkes please, I have already told you. I don’t know the cause of the beacon’s activation…That is what we’re here to find out.” The gorilla scientist pressed a thick finger into a button on the wall, but the hanger gate refused to close.
No power, Winston surmised, and shifted his attention to the hanging bay doors. “Mr Roadhog, could you assist me.”
The large man grunted, before following the ape to the opening, where Winston pointed to the door on the left, and he himself approached the one to the right. With their might’s combined, the hanger doors pinched closed, and the bright sunlight in the room snuffed away.
It wasn’t pitch dark, but the loss of sun did give the crannies a dangerous look to them.
The cold was a little more manageable now, but still Jamison shivered beneath his puffy lime green coat. The collar of his woolen turtle neck was itchy and awful, and he’d been tugging at a wedgie in his snow pants for half an hour, but the slippery fabric just kept escaping through his gloved hands.
This trip had been miserable already, and they had only just arrived. Jamison was stuffy, pouty, and grumbly, as he tromped over the landing strip, his brows twitched in irritation on every step.
Meanwhile Roadhog seemed rather snug, layered in a collection of hand knitted jumpers, and wound in a series of multi-colored scarfs. If he was as cold as Jamison was, the large junker didn’t show it, as his masked expression remained just as calm and possibly empty as usual.
Winston quickly discovered that the lift was frozen shut, but it didn’t have the power to work anyway, so the small team instead climbed a set of iron stairs to the upper floors. Jamison’s metal peg leg slipped on only one of the many frozen steps, as they slowly made their way up to the main part of the base, and once at the top, he gave the lengthy drop below an uneasy peek over the railing.
Their foot falls shuffled down the empty corridor, as cold air streamed against their faces. Junkrat paused when they passed by a dark room, where cryo sleep tubes lined the wall in a row. Any power the chambers would have been drawing from was dead, and he could only assume the occupants were as well.
However, each pod was closed except one, which was eerily left propped open and empty.
Jamison gulped, feeling a different kind of chill creep up his spine, one not of cold but of fear. He didn’t like this place, it was all the things he hated most. Cold, dark, and clean. Just like Dr Ziglers hospital room at HQ, where needles and blood bags were stored in freezers like soda pop.
Noticing that Roadhog had also stopped beside him, Junkrat coughed into his gloved prosthetic hand. “S’noth’n.” He sniffed in a string of winter snot, and hobbled after the elder team members who’d continued ahead of them.
The cold air was swirling around them now, seeming to emanate from the beacon control room itself, as chilling mist wafted from the small sliver of an opening between the automatic doors. Winston tried the buttons on the wall, but it was pointless, so he then pressed his thick hands between the open space, and forced the metal to part wider.
As the metal cracked and shifted, snow flurried into his face, the flakes spiraling around him and showering over the new arrivals like a cloud of tiny cold fairies. When the storm settled, they each made motions to shake the collected snow piles off their shoulders and out of their hair.
Sweeping a puffy coat sleeve over his face, Jamison removed the white bits of ice that had landed on his brows and lashes, before huffing visible breaths of air into his gloves. “S-shouldn’t it be get’n warmer further in?”
“Must be another breach somewhere.” Winston said, before stepping aside to let Ana to get a look inside beacon control room.
She leaned in, scanning over the room with her remaining eye, before stepping across the gap and into the ghostly cold, soon followed by a hesitant Junkrat, then Winston, adjusting his glasses as they fogged instantly upon entering the room, and finally Roadhog who had to squeeze his belly through with a pop.
The lights in this room appeared to be as dead as the rest of the place, and Ana cracked a set of sickly yellow glow sticks, before distributing them to each of the four team members.
It was the arctic, and every room in the base was cold, but the temperature dropped significantly once they opened this room, and there was an ominous silence throughout the entire base, but in this room, there was a faint robotic beep replaying over and over.
“Beep….. Beep….. Beep….. Beep….. Beep…..”
It was like a heart monitor, one of those unfeeling rhythms that put a person on edge, and they followed the sound through the dark before the yellow glow met a reflective blue wall.
Crystallized ice towered up to the ceiling, and their eyes glided upward to it’s top in awe. The icy wall had encased the entire beacon and control panel, but it also spiked out to take half the room as well, cresting the walls with patterns of glittering frost.
“Hoolie-doolie, that’sa icicle…” Junkrat enamored it’s size and gave the glass-like casing a few knocks. “…Solid too. What d’ya think happened here mate?”
“I’m not sure…” Winston furrowed his brows at the console, watching the tiny green light blink teasingly beneath the blue coat. “…But what ever happened, it was after the beacon was activated. The ice cuts off all access to it’s panel. Unless… it was an automated system…” He trailed off, bringing a knuckle to his chin as the ape became lost in thought.
“Here is what I don’t understand…” Ana started, and the room turned their attention to her as she walked up to a light switch, flipping the tiny button up and down a few times before planting the same hand on her hip. “…if there’s no power in the facility, then how is the beacon active at all?”
“Perhaps there is a backup supply unit, only for the beacon.” Winston suggested, but Ana wasn’t convinced as she strutted her way back to the iced over control panel, and with a cocked brow she turned her eagle eye on the ape leader.
“That’s not in the standard blueprints…”
“Someone…” Winston started, before giving his wide shoulders a shrug. “…I presume who ever activated the beacon, must have modified the power input. To keep the signal working, even when all other power had been used in the facility.”
“If that’s so, then where are they?” Ana asked, gesturing to the empty room and assumedly the empty base beyond the four walls. She then pointed a finger at the active green dot beneath the ice. “…Winston, this little blinking light traveled all the way to Overwatch HQ. It brought us here… but why?”
The room fell silent again, except for the nerve rattling beep of the beacon terminal. Winston and Ana were deep in a silent thoughtful moment, while the Junkers stood idly, waiting for instruction. Jamison’s eyes darted back and forth between the senior officers, before giving a glance to the iced up control panel.
“Welp!” Junkrat clapped his gloved hands together loudly, shocking a jump out of everyone, and catching all of their attentions at once. “Won’t know why it’s act’n funny, ‘less ya can get ta tha controls ro’ight? Can’t get’ta tha control panel, ‘less this ice is cleared. Ain’t here for piss’n round! So let’s blow this block in’ta ice-cream!”
With another sigh, Winston pulled his glasses from his face, giving the hight of the glacier another inspection. His eyes following it all the way to the top, before returning to the smaller of the two Junkers. “Mr Fawkes, are you sure you can remove the ice with out damaging the machinery beneath it?”
“A’course, mate! It’ll be ace!” With the spin of a land mine in his metal hand, Junkrat stepped up onto a sheet of ice and held his arms up wide. “This’s tha great Jamison ‘Junkrat’ Fawkes yer talk’n bout! I know what I’m do’n!”
Directly after his proclamation, his peg skidded on the ice and the arson’s legs tore into a split. Junkrat howled in pain, and cried for Roadhog to help him up, which the larger junker did, and Winston sighed yet again with his fingers on his temples.
“Winston.” Ana addressed the ape, holding her medical-gun on her shoulder, just in case. “This is what you hired them for… give them time to prove their worth.”
It was true, the team Winston had assembled for this task was strategically thought through, and he’d specifically chose to bring Junkrat for this purpose. He knew they’d be dealing with ice, and the demolitions expert would be useful when facing a blockade such as this one.
Though when asking Jamison to accompany him on this mission, he’d only required the single junker, but Winston was then informed that “Where ever I go, Hog goes!, and that was the end of the negotiations.
Every team needed a medic, and that was why he assigned Ana. Angela might have been his first choice, but Ana was better at handling the Junkers, the younger one had even grown attached to her, calling her ‘Nan’ like an older relative. Perhaps it was because of their missing biological components that they shared a bond he couldn’t quite grasp.
Or perhaps Ana just views him as an orphan looking for a home… Winston considered this, watching as Junkrat excitedly pressed his thumb into the tiny button of his handy detonator, and the bombs blew with an echoing ripple of sound.
The light from the first explosion cast shadows across the room, and revealed the innards of the glacier for a moment, before the fire died and with it, the light. Just above the beacon’s panel, there was a rather strangely shaped dark spot, hovering within the thick ice wall.
The team leader disregarded it at first, seeing as the icy wall had many strange imperfections, but when Junkrat blasted it again, and again the fire illuminated the shadowed spot, he found it a bit more suspicious. Winston brought his glasses back onto his face and squinted at the dark space, but couldn’t make out it’s proper shape. He stared at it, as Junkrat detonated another bomb, and it’s light revealed the figure of a human body.
Junkrat was positioning another mine just above the panel, when Winston called out to him. “Mr Fawkes, wait a moment…” But the arson was too enraptured with his work to hear the command, and blasted it anyway.
It shook the ice, this time sending cracked bits crumbling from the top, but the person inside still appeared to be intact. Junkrat giggled as he set another mine, but halted when the ape commanded “Jamison! Stop!”, with his palm open in a forceful gesture.
“Alro’ight, crikey. Dan’t have ta shout.”
Ana quickly cracked a hand full of glow sticks at once, shaking them in her fist before holding the bouquet up to the person hidden beneath the ice. “Mei-ling?” She uttered, her brows lifting and her single eye wide in shock.
The dark spot became a girl, pale skinned and soft featured. Her hair was ash brown, her lips blue, and she was dressed for a nap, in fluffy pajamas. She was balled into a fetal position about two feet above the beacon panel, and beside her was some sort of weapon looking device.
“Mei-ling?!” Winston exclaimed, placing his hands on the outside of her ice encasement, as if she’d simply wake at the sound of his voice. His eyes searched her face for life but with a huff, he dropped his fore head against the barrier.
“Who’s it?”
The elder team members turned to Junkrat, and the sorrow in their expressions lingered as they addressed his question. “Mei-ling Zouh…” Winston explained. “…She was a researcher here when it was still an active base. When the first Overwatch devision disbanded, this site was left abandoned and the team was considered dead officially.”
“But…” Ana’s eyes trailed from Mei’s face to the persistent blink of the beacon light on the console below. “…She must have activated the beacon, and then froze herself… Awaiting rescue.”
“A rescue that never came…” Winston finished, and the room fell silent.
“That must have been nearly twenty years ago…”
Junkrat rested his prosthetic hand on his bony hip, and braced a palm against the wall of ice, admiring the sleeping face of the girl within. “Well she’s look’n pretty good for a lady push’n forty.”
“The ice kept her in a stasis.” Ana said, not even batting an eye at the junkers comment, and handed Winston the bouquet of glow sticks, before swinging her bag off her shoulder. It flopped on the floor and she un-zipped it down the middle, digging through it as she spoke. “If she’s still alive in there, she’s going to need medical treatment…”
She started emptying the contents, lining bottles, stacking supplies, and un-raveling a large tarp which was quickly smoothed out onto the tile floor. “…I don’t have the equipment to heal her properly here, but she’s been in the ice this long, it should preserve her until we can get her home.”
“What exactly are you suggesting Ana?” Winston asked, staring at the woman crouched on the floor with a hopeful brow.
“We’ll just have to cut her out…” Ana said plainly, standing again and stretching her back in a rather casual way. “We cut her out, load her onto the transport, and fly her back to HQ where Angela can take over.”
The team all seemed to be turning over the plan in their minds, looking for flaws in it, but the situation was too unusual to have any protocols to think of.
“How’re we ganna cut through this, Nan?” Junkrat asked, gliding his hand across the solid glass-like wall, his fingers dipping into the crevasse he’d created. “Even me bombs didn’t make more than’a crack.”
“This is a science lab, and we are capable…” Ana then spun, taking the glow sticks she’d left with Winston, and looked in to his eyes with her stern one. “…I’m sure we can find a way.”
The gorilla understood without being told. He can find a way. After all, Winston was the team leader, the smart one so to speak, and just like every other member of Overwatch, he had his job to do.
Love, PCY
Park Chanyeol who? I only know Bang Chanyeol.
Bep. Bep. Bep.
Hearing the doorbell ringing three times was enough for Jisoo to rise up from her slumber and wonder while she wears the nearest hoodie she could grasp. As far as she recalls, Jennie called her yesterday to tell her that she would be arriving today at eight in the morning, but right now, when Jisoo checks her phone as she walks closer to the door, it is, in fact, six in the morning, so who could it be?
Jisoo sighs from the thought, growing confused and confused as she opens the door only to find a colored white envelope with a flower, more specifically, a rose attached to it.
The raven-haired woman blinked.Not again. She thought as she bent down to pick it with her hand. She has been getting love letters these past months, but with a flower attached to it? That's a first.
No one has ever given her flowers, more specifically a rose, which is her favorite flower. Not even Jinyoung from Class C, who asked her to be his prom date last year, nor from anyone during Valentine's day. And even if someone dares to give her a flower, they would always avoid the rose as their reason would always be; a rose is an overrated flower.
And receiving a rose, especially from a secret admirer, intrigues Jisoo, but at the same time, it makes her wonder in circles.
How did they know she adores roses?
The brunette shakes her thoughts away. It could be a coincidence, that maybe this secret admirer of hers also admires roses just like her and just sent her one for fun.
Jisoo sighs at the thought before she detaches the envelope.
Hi Soo :>
I've been noticing lately that you seem troubled and down. I know it's going to be stupid of me to ask, but are you okay? I know it must be tough, but I believe that you can surpass that.
Anyways! I heard you got a quiz today, I'm sure you're going to be fine. You've worked hard on it, and hard work never betrays.
Bye! :>
Ps. I've heard you adore roses, so I hope this rose will give you happy luck :P
Love, PCY
Jisoo blinks and if someone ever saw her at this moment, she would look like an idiotic gaping fish. The raven quickly stuffed the letter into her hoodie pocket, peeking her head around the doorframe to check for any crumb traces of her secret admirer from left to right. Unfortunately, the raven doesn't find any, and so she sends a quick text to none other than her roommate slash best friend, Jennie.
Code: You better hide your girlfriend and yourself or else I'll have to whop both of your asses back to New Zealand for selling me out!
///
"Look, for the last time. I told you, It's not me. " Jennie says, rolling her eyes at her best friend's sudden accusation.
Jisoo huffs, throws her back at her seat, and crosses her arms, "Then who?"
"I don't know, okay? But one thing for sure is I didn't sell you out. And also, why would I even do that? It's not like the fact that you liked Roses would create a sudden miracle like it'll fix the Global Warming problems or something. " The brunette murmurs, taking a bite on her chicken salad.
"Good point." Jisoo says, before she turns her head at the other figure, who is surprisingly eating her food quietly.
Lisa, who noticed the raven-haired girl's sudden look. She scrunched her nose in confusion before she locked her eyes at the raven, "What?"
"How about you Lis? Would you sell me out for free cat food?"
"...Is that a trick question?"
"No,"
"...If it means raising my babies, then I would not hesitate."
"So it was you!" Jisoo whispered loudly enough for the three to hear, squinting her eyes in suspicion at Lisa.
"What!" Lisa widens her eyes before she furrows both of her eyebrows as she turns her head at her girlfriend for help, but her girlfriend, Jennie, shrugs it off as she continues to eat her chicken salad like there is no scene in front of her.
Lisa could only blink helplessly at her girlfriend before she glanced back at the accuser, "Look, It's not me. No one has made an offer to me like that."
"But you would sell me out if someone offered you that offer."
"I would... but! The most important thing is I didn't sell you out, so..." Lisa shifts her eyes, praying the accuser's eyes would leave her alone.
Seeing the uneasiness of her friend, Jisoo sighs guilty as she throws her back on her seat in defeat before muttering a sincere apology to her friends.
Just how the hell did her secret admirer know about her admiration for the roses?
"Anyway, if they knew about your favorite, that would probably mean they are stalking you or perhaps, it's just someone who happens to know about it." Jennie says, bringing back Jisoo to reality.
"Probably." Lisa agrees, cutting her lasagna in half and placing the other half on Jisoo's plate.
It's true that her secret admirer could be a stalker because she hasn't mentioned to anyone that she adores roses except her best friends, but if her secret admirer is a stalker, how did they know she adores roses when she hasn't given any hints or been subtle about it? Are they watching her? That's kind of creepy...
Before Jisoo knew, she was already sighing and rubbing her forehead in confusion unconsciously and that didn't go unnoticed by her two friends who glanced at each other helplessly.
"Didn't you say about their initials? Maybe we can help you by starting to find out with someone with the same initials as them." Jennie offers, tapping her friend's arm.
"Yeah, maybe we can." Lisa joins.
Jisoo purses her lips, looking at her two friends' eyes before she thinks about the letter.
"I think it was PCY or something-"
Before Jisoo could speak anything further, she was cut off by a continuous choking sound from the opposite seat. Jennie, who was beside Lisa, looked alarmed, and tried to pat the Thai's back, hardly enough for Lisa to come back from her normal state.
"Eat slowly, you idiot!" Jisoo hisses, offering Lisa a water, who immediately takes it without hesitation.
"...Thank you for pulling my leg from Heaven," Lisa says, panting as she offers a peace sign at the two before faking a cough, "Anyway, continue."
"Eat slowly next time, you idiot."
"Yes ma'am!"
Jennie sighs at the silliness of her girlfriend before turning her head at Jisoo, who's eyes lingered on Lisa and fakes a cough to earn the attention of her friend.
"Anyway, as far as I can remember, there is only one person who owns that initial."
Surprised by the new found information, Jisoo widens her eyes as her eyes start to twinkle in hope like the stars that can be seen in the night.
"Really?"
"Man, you really need to step out from your cave." Lisa comments, reaching out her fork to the raven's plate for the chicken nuggets.
Jisoo rolls her eyes at the Thai before she focuses her eyes at the owner of the feline eyes whose lips are sealed.
"Who?"
"Before I answer, I have a question. What are you going to do after you find out who's behind the letter?"
Jisoo gives a narrow look at the brunette before it turns to try to identify what is behind those feline eyes. That was probably the stupidest question she had ever gotten from Jennie, because it was really obvious what she was about to do, but she was going to stop herself from actually voicing it out. It looked like Jennie was serious enough about the question, so Jisoo is going to give a serious answer to her best friend.
"You both knew that I fancied Roseanne from the beginning and also, it wouldn't be fair for them to lead them to an idea that I have reciprocated their feelings, so I want to reject them properly before it gets out of hand."
If there is one thing anyone should know about Jisoo, it would be that Jisoo's mouth forms words faster than her brain. It was true though. What she said to Jennie was completely pure honesty.
Jisoo was in love with Roseanne and has been pursuing the strawberry blonde since they were in kindergarten. Despite the fact that Roseanne had shown no signs of reciprocating Jisoo's feelings over the years, the raven haired was hurt, but she wasn't giving up on Roseanne. And it is one of Jisoo's principles to never entertain anyone, even if it's a chicken in the form of a human when she's pursuing the woman she loves.
"Don't worry, Chu. You and my step-sister already got my blessings." Lisa teased, enjoying the flustered side of Jisoo.
"Shut up." Jisoo hisses, trying to look away to prevent her friends from seeing her pink tainted cheeks.
Jennie knew it was a stupid question to ask, but she only smiled because she was pleased with the raven-haired's perseverance in pursuing her Aussie friend slash co-captain.
"Anyway, Park Chanyeol is the captain of the soccer team. If you want, I can ask him to meet you after practice." Jisoo gave a puzzled look at Jennie.
"Chanyeol? I thought that guy was a Bang." Lisa laughs.
"Bang Chan and Park Chanyeol are two different people, Chu."
"Oh,"
. . .
"Oh!"
And that's how Jisoo ended up standing alone beside the bench. She was uneasy about the stares she was getting from everyone, but she held her ground tightly and hoped that Chanyeol would just show up now.
Today was the day. The day Jisoo is going to end it all.
If Jisoo was any other girl, Chanyeol would definitely be the man of her dreams. Chanyeol was a nice guy, despite the stereotypes of the jocks Jisoo sees in the books, he was not like that. He was, in fact, the opposite. He was nice, rich, and handsome. In short, he was every woman's standard, but Jisoo wasn't any other girl. It may be an advance thinking, but Jisoo couldn't just imagine herself to be in that man's arms.
She couldn't see a future where Chanyeol was her spouse.
"Jisoo?" Hearing a familiar feminine voice was enough for Jisoo to bring herself to reality. Turning her heels, Jisoo's eyes immediately locked with the owner of the voice, the head cheerleader, Park Roseanne.
"Rosie." Jisoo says, shrinking from her position and flashing a smile that she hopes isn't idiotic or awkward, but that was probably the most awkward and idiotic smile she's ever plastered, given that her facial expression will always betray her brain.
Great. Another embarrassing moment to recall before falling asleep. Just great.
Her cheeks burning more in embarrassment, Jisoo bit down her lower lip to suppress her embarrassment and looked up when she heard a cute giggle coming from Rosé.
Did Rosé just laugh? Her ears must be playing with her imagination, but Jisoo has come to the conclusion that it wasn't an imagination when she sees Roseanne trying to hide her smile with the back of her hand. Just how could anyone be this gorgeous?
"Sorry, it's just you're adorable," Roseanne says, biting her lower lip to keep her smile from turning into laughter.
Not having a comeback to that, Jisoo didn't speak any further, and just sealed her lips as she had no trust in her lips. If God isn't going to save her from embarrassment and looking like an idiotic woman to her future wife, then she must step up and do the deed.
Roseanne fakes a cough to ease the tension between them after receiving no response from the raven-haired.
"So what made you come here? If you're looking for Jennie, I think she left with my sister a while ago."
"Oh, I'm not actually here for Jen... I'm here for someone." Roseanne's gaze narrowed at the raven-haired.
"Who?"
The raven-haired woman opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by a baritone voice behind their back.
"Hey Kim, you were looking for me?"
Immediately turning both of their heels, Jisoo’s eyes were still lingering on Roseanne even though her body was facing Chanyeol. She couldn't help, but catch a glimpse of disappointment in Roseanne's facial features. Although she is perplexed as to why, the raven haired girl did not dare to ask any questions as she locked her gaze on Chanyeol.
"Well, looks like that's my cue to leave now. Bye Park. Bye Soo." And with that, before Jisoo could bid her goodbyes to the cheerleader, the cheerleader was swift enough to disappear like dust blown by the wind.
Chanyeol furrows both of his eyebrows from that, confused by the slight change of tone of the cheerleader, and glances up at Jisoo, who had a longing look at where the cheerleader disappeared to.
Clearly, there is something weird going on, but Chanyeol decides to shrug it off. Thinking it was none of his business. He snaps a finger in front of Jisoo and from that, Jisoo is immediately brought back to reality. She muttered a small apology at the soccer captain right away.
"It's alright, Kim. Anyway, Jennie told me you were asking for me. What's up?" He asks, innocently smiling.
Chanyeol could tell the raven-haired woman in front of him was hesitant and uneasy where she was standing just by looking at her, but Chanyeol didn't say anything as he patiently waited. It must be that kind of serious for Kim to be this way.
The raven took something from her pocket and once she grasped it, she hesitantly stuck it out for Chanyeol to look at and accept.
The soccer captain took it, though he was perplexed by what the raven-haired woman gave to him. His gaze lingered on the letter, still perplexed, and in the hope of finding answers, he returned his gaze to the raven haired, only to find Jisoo looking at him apologetically. No one dared to speak between them and just when Chanyeol was about to speak, Jisoo beat him to it.
"Look, Chanyeol... If I was any other girl or any person, I would really accept your confession. You're great and all, but I-"
Jisoo was still speaking, but the soccer captain didn't hear any words escaping from her lips as he focused on himself, trying to process everything that the raven haired had spoken to him.
"Hold on, hold on, hold on," Chanyeol chants, cutting Jisoo off, "You think this is me?" He says, pointing at himself, then at the letter back and forth. He looked at Jisoo in bewilderment.
"Who else?" Chanyeol laughs awkwardly, blinking rapidly; a habit he does when he doesn't know what to do or respond.
"Look... dude, I like you, but as friends. And this? I didn't write this. Though, I really think you got the wrong person." He says, explaining from one to ten to the raven haired.
As Chanyeol ran his mouth to speak, the raven haired was the opposite. She was quiet as she processed everything the soccer captain had said to her.
"So you're saying that you're not the person behind the letter?"
"Yes!" Chanyeol yells, his eyes bright, but falters when he leans forward to whisper. Jisoo didn't move as she freely let Chanyeol do his thing.
"I mean, I thought the word had spread that I'm dating Baekhyun?" He whispered.
Surprised, Jisoo blinks at the newfound formation from the soccer captain, but at the same time, embarrassment starts to crawl up from her toes up to her spine when realization hit her like a bus.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I thought you were them!" Jisoo says, wishing the ground would just eat her alive in an instant.
"It's okay, man. I mean, if I were in your shoes, I'd suspect myself because a secret admirer of yours has the same initials as mine." Chanyeol chuckles, trying to ease the embarrassment, but it looked like the embarrassment was too big for Chanyeol to ease.
The raven haired was still muttering endless apologies and it looked like she didn't have any plans to stop. Thankfully, Chanyeol actually stopped her on her ninth apology with a reassuring smile.
"Really, it's okay Kim. Let's just pretend we didn't meet today, alright?"
Jisoo nodded, still wishing the ground would eat her alive. Although she appreciated the soccer captain's efforts to alleviate her embarrassment, it wasn't enough; after all, who wouldn't be dying of embarrassment if they were mistaken for their secret admirer? If asked, Jisoo would fight anyone to say it isn't that embarrassing.
Before Jisoo could actually drown herself with thoughts, a soft anime song echoed between them and, from the looks of it, it came from Chanyeol's pocket.
"Crap! I forgot I was gonna have a study session in the library with Hyun! I should go now Kim. See you around!" Patting Jisoo's shoulder, the soccer captain didn't waste a second as he sprinted off to meet his boyfriend, leaving Jisoo alone standing to rethink her choices in life.
This secret admirer of her has been driving her nuts, making her walk circles, and Jisoo could only sigh in frustration before she rubbed her forehead.
If it's not Chanyeol, then who?
///
Jisoo woke up frowning when she felt like a nail drilling slowly into her head, slowly torturing her brain. Where was she again? Oh right, she was at Lisa’s house along with Jennie. Just what came into her mind to come along with Jennie into Lisa's house with a bottle of wine? As she sat up with a groan, the raven-haired woman is slowly regretting her decision.
Hearing a soft groan at her side, Jisoo turned her head only to find out Jennie was still in her slumber. Like a burrito, the feline eye tightly held the pillow as she snuggled closer to it. Jisoo could only chuckle at the sight before she felt the nail drilling continuously on her head again.
She needs a hangover soup and medicine to ease her throbbing head. Call her overreacting, but Jisoo might actually die from the throbbing pain she feels in her head. Curse you Dionysus!
As a result, the raven-haired woman moved, sauntering her way downstairs. The scent of something good was the first thing she smelt, so she walked faster, hoping Lisa would immediately feed her with soup, and peek her head right through the door frame.
When she did, Jisoo could only purse her lips and blink at the two figures standing in the kitchen.
It was Lisa and Roseanne together in the kitchen.
It looked like the two of them were talking about something serious and Jisoo, who respected privacy, attempted to walk away, but before she could fully walk away. She freezes in her position, widening her eyes when she spots Hank, Roseanne's dog not so far away from them.
Based on the interactions she had with Hank every time she visited Lisa along with Jennie. Hank was a very energetic dog, but only to people he found comfortable with. And it looked like Jisoo's luck ran out in time when she noticed Hank's ears starting to perk up, his eyes starting to light up like fire when he spotted one of the humans he finds comfortable with.
To Jisoo's horror, Hank immediately ran up to her arms, and just when Hank was about to bark and lick Jisoo's cheeks. The raven swiftly reaches out her hand up to his mouth to shut him off. Just when will the Gods bless Jisoo with good luck?
"So where were you? I didn't know you're into getting up early in the morning now," Lisa asks, the sizzling noise still present, but Jisoo could just hear them fine.
"I... Uhm, I had an errand to do before class, so yeah,"
"Really?"
"Yeah."
There was a brief silence for a while and even though Jisoo didn't actually witness them physically talking, she could already tell Roseanne was kind of anxious, uneasy, but Lisa, on the other hand, was calm as she spoke. Different from Roseanne's odd behaviour.
And just when Jisoo was about to step up and interrupt the conversation to save the love of her life from spilling where she came from, Lisa blurted out her question that made Jisoo and Roseanne caught off guard at the same time.
"Do you have a crush on her?"
It was just a sentence, but that sentence was enough for Jisoo's heart to pound like a speaker at full volume, blasting like there is no tomorrow around the neighbourhood. Although the raven haired was anticipating the strawberry blonde's response, she felt as if her heart was being pinched with pliers while she waited. It's not going to be her, isn't it?
"I don't know what you're talking about, Lis."
"Oh, come on! I know you're behind those letters, Chaeyoung." Jisoo could only furrow her eyebrows in puzzlement at the name Lisa called her step-sister.
"I... I don't know what letters you are talking about."
"Right. I totally didn't see your ears go red just now. Seriously, just admit that you have a big fat crush on her, you dummy."
Roseanne responds with a nervous laugh, opening her mouth to speak another lie, but stopped mid-way when Lisa locked her eyes with her. The Thai's eyes practically scream that if she's going to throw a half-baked lie at Lisa, she's throwing the strawberry blonde's ass back to Melbourne, Australia.
"Alright, fine! I have a crush on Jisoo!" Roseanne hisses, sounding a little bit annoyed at what she has admitted, but her expression totally betrayed her as she felt her blood crawling up to her cheeks, making her look like a tomato ready for ripping.
"See? It's not that bad to admit that you like Jisoo." Jisoo could practically hear Lisa smirking.
"You better not tell her or else,." Lisa laughs at the threat.
"Alright, okay."
"And also, how did you even find out?"
"That is a very dumb question coming from a genius like you, Park Chaeyoung."
"Nevermind."
Jisoo could hear Lisa laugh once again, "Wake up Jennie for me, okay? Don't forget your girlfriend as well."
"Ugh, shut up." Roseanne hisses softly, blushing at the Thai's teasing.
As the footsteps start to fade from the background. Jisoo doesn't hear anything further aside from the sizzling sound that was made. And before the raven-haired could realize it, Hank took advantage of the opportunity to summon all of his strength and break free from her embrace.
Jisoo cursed under her breath as she tries to get Hank back into her arms, but unfortunately fails as Hank makes his way to the stairs as he wags his tail, and Jisoo guesses he’s probably going to crawl back into Roseanne’s arms upstairs.
"My, I didn't know you were the type to eavesdrop, Chu."
Jisoo yelped, like a kid caught red-handed, Jisoo widens her eyes caught in action as she helplessly looks up from the floor only to meet Lisa's teasing eyes.
No words escaped the raven's mouth, so she remained silent, and Lisa took advantage of the opportunity to continue with her teasing smile growing with each passing second.
"So, is it safe for me to assume that you have found out who's behind the letter?"
///
Jisoo woke up staring at her ceiling. There was nothing interesting happening in the ceiling, but somehow Jisoo finds the entertainment of staring at the ceiling as thoughts run through her mind.
It's not an everyday scene to find out your secret admirer is actually the person you have been crushing on since kindergarten, so Jisoo took her time to stare at the ceiling. Processing every detail that happened yesterday.
How the hell did she not notice it before? More importantly, just how the heck did she forget that the strawberry blonde has a Korean name? Sure, she had heard Lisa mentioning that name before, although the raven haired didn't know where and when, but Jisoo was really clueless and thought Roseanne and Chaeyoung were two different people. Oh god, she was so stupid that she didn’t realize Roseanne and Chaeyoung were one person.
Jisoo sighed before she hid her face under the pillow, screaming in embarrassment before it turned into giggles and squeals.
Roseanne likes her.
Chaeyoung likes her.
Now she has found out that her crush also felt the same. Just how the heck is she going to normally face Chaeyoung now? More importantly, how is she going to catch Chaeyoung red-handed?
///
The next morning, Jisoo simply woke up to another letter in her locker. This time, there were no flowers, but the letter was enough for Jisoo to brighten up her day, brighter than the sun.
The letter was nothing special, but the words that Chaeyoung sincerely wrote for Jisoo were enough to make the raven haired girl's heart race erratically at the thought of the blonde.
"Man, my sister's effect must be that bad to immediately put a smile on your face after Dalgom ate your chicken like a while ago." Jisoo laughs, rolling her eyes as she does.
"Oh shut up, Lis." Lisa snickered before widening her eyes for a split second and pulling out her phone.
"Oh right, can we switch places tonight? I have a surprise for Jennie, and I kind of need you to get out of the dorm."
"Please don't do it in my bedroom." Feeling a fresh sharp pain in her shoulder, Jisoo whines as she glares at Lisa, who only blushed.
"I’m telling Rosie that you’re hurting me physically." Jisoo threatens, pouting as she rubs at where Lisa struck her.
"W-We're not doing that you idiot! I just want to spend some alone time with my girlfriend." Jisoo snorts at that before she recalls the memory of one time she walked in to them having an intimate moment on the couch.
Although she feels bad for teasing, Jisoo just couldn't let the teasing chance pass through. She scarcely had any comeback to throw at them during the teasing war, so now she's had it. She's not going to hold it back.
"Okay, fine, but just make sure you guys feed Dalgom there, alright."
"Great! You can stay with my sister tonight."
Jisoo widens her eyes at that, "What? No!"
"Oh come on, Chu. You're not going to avoid my sister forever. And also, don't act like I didn't catch you smiling at the letters. You guys totally need to talk." Lisa says with a smirk on her lips.
"And also, don't worry about food. Chaeyoung is a great cook, I'm sure she's going to fill your stomach." And before Jisoo could utter a word, Lisa winked at her before sprinting away.
Did Lisa just set her up on a date with her sister at their own house?
///
"Here you go, Princess." Jisoo beamed, pride evident in her voice as Chaeyoung softly laughed at the content that Jisoo had presented to her.
"I made you the finest bowl of Fruit Loops that I could find in your cupboard." She said, which made Chaeyoung snicker, hiding the laugh beneath her lips.
"How did you even find this? I didn't even know we had one of these." She says, glancing at the Fruit Loops, then turns her gaze at the proud eyes owned by the raven.
"Well, I have my ways." Jisoo says, confidently, and flips her hair as she does. Chaeyoung scoffed at that, her lips curling into a smile afterwards.
"Idiot." She whispered under her breath.
Jisoo only flashed a lopsided grin before she sat opposite where Chaeyoung sat. The raven didn't really remember how both of them ended up having Fruit Loops as their dinner for the evening, but from the looks of it. It looked like Chaeyoung seemed to like it. She even offered a bite to Jisoo, which doesn’t make sense, because they’re both eating fruit loops, but Jisoo accepted heartedly, and blushed when realization hit her afterwards.
That was an indirect kiss, wasn't it...
Jisoo knew she wasn't supposed to make a big deal out of this, but she couldn't help it. It seemed like the blonde didn't notice and was even confused when her eyes landed on the blushing raven.
"What's wrong?" She asks, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.
"N-nothing..." Jisoo replies, looking away to prevent being seen with blushing cheeks.
Chaeyoung knew it wasn't just something, but when she glanced down at her spoon then at Jisoo back and forth. She widened her eyes for a split second before she turned to look at the raven who had been blushing.
"Oh..." The blonde muttered, smiling as she looked away.
There was a brief silence between them until Jisoo decided to break the cold ice with a fake cough. Being silent won’t get them anywhere, so she starts.
"I don't think Lisa is coming home this evening." She says, trying to lock her eyes with the blonde to ease the tension between them.
"Yeah."
"When will Mrs. Manoban and Mr. Manoban come home? It's been a long time since I last saw them." It was out of the blue, but that was the only thing Jisoo had in her mind to blurt out.
"I think Mom and Dad will be back around July? I don't actually know. They often change it. They miss you, ya know." Jisoo blushes at that, fluttering.
"Well, tell them next time that I miss them too." Jisoo beams, giggling as she does. Chaeyoung does the same, taking a bite of her Fruit Loops.
"How was your day, Soo?" She asks and, without hesitation, Jisoo immediately tells her what had happened during the history class, making Chaeyoung burst into soft laughter after learning Lisa fell down all of a sudden on her seat.
"So that's why she was whining about it and asking me to massage her back." Jisoo hummed at that, her smile still present.
"Your sister is kind of clumsy. She takes after you."
"Hey! I'm not clumsy," Jisoo laughs at that.
"Yeah sure, Princess."
"I'm really not!" Chaeyoung narrowed her eyes at the raven.
For a split second, if Jisoo didn't know Chaeyoung better, she would have thought Chaeyoung was annoyed by her, but when she saw the smile crawling into the blonde's plump lips, Jisoo knew it was nothing serious.
"How was your day?" Jisoo inquires, her gaze still locked on the blonde's.
"Nothing is interesting in my day, Soo."
"Well, I am, so come on. Tell me your day, clumsy dude." Chaeyoung burst out laughing as she heard this.
"Did you just call me a clumsy dude?"
"I did. Do you have a problem with that, clumsy dude?" Chaeyoung chuckles, rolling her eyes at the raven.
"Okay, chicken dude." She murmured, making Jisoo chuckle as she narrowed her eyes teasingly at Chaeyoung.
Cheayoung then starts to speak about her day, starting from the cheerleading practice to the end of the day. Of course, Jisoo was listening very well, laughing at the things Chaeyoung explained about what happened in the class that made Ms. Lee mad.
Jisoo knew she had to seize this opportunity. And Jisoo knew better that it was better to not underestimate Lisa, so she mustered up the courage. If no one is going to speak, then she'll take the lead.
"See? It's interesting to hear about your day. And by the way, thanks for the flowers and letters, Chaeyoung."
"You're welcome, Soo."
Jisoo smiled. Chaeyoung freezes after picking it up.
"I... uhm... I-" Chaeyoung looked down, trying to find an explanation as anxiety and fear started to crawl up into her spine.
"It's okay, Chae. I know." Jisoo murmurs, smiling as her eyes never leave Chaeyoung.
"...What?"
Jisoo blushes again, this time a little brighter, but she's not going to back down from her confession or keep quiet about it. Not when she literally just started, and she has no plans to end it until she says it.
"I am in love with you too, silly."
And that sentence was enough for Chaeyoung to blink as she processed everything. All this time, she thought it was platonic, but it was not? Oh my god. Oh my god.
"You still remember it, right? I mean, it would be so awkward if you didn't, but if you want me to remind you of the first letter you told me, in which you told me you love me and-"
"You're in love with me?"
Jisoo smiled a little although she was in a blushing mess, but she didn't care. She reached out to take Chaeyoung's hand on hers as she looked at her in the eyes full of sincerity.
"I am. I am in love with you, Chaeyoung."
Chaeyoung flashes a quivering smile when she hears that. And Jisoo couldn't help, but to panic when she saw tears starting to form in the blonde's eyes. She instinctively stood up from her seat and sat down beside the girl to comfort her.
"Oh shit. I mean, I totally said I'm in love with you instead of I'm not, but oh my god, don't cry please. I'm sorry. Please don't cry." Jisoo says, cupping Chaeyoung's cheeks into her palms and starts to wipe the tears.
"I thought I was gonna lose you." Chaeyoung whispered, also trying to wipe her tears.
"Well, for a second thought. I also thought I was gonna lose you. You scared me silly!"
Chaeyoung laughs at that, tears still present in her cheeks before she reaches out to cup the brunette's cheeks and does the impossible.
Jisoo widens her eyes in shock, feeling the plump lips pressed against her. Chaeyoung's lips were sweet, although a little bit salty, because of the tears, but nonetheless. It was the sweetest thing Jisoo had ever tasted. Regaining and finally absorbing what was happening, Jisoo instinctively circled her arms around the blonde, and kissed her back as she poured out all of her feelings with closed eyes.
She could feel the blonde smiling between their kiss and when the oxygen became an issue. They broke it off before they shared a loud laugh with happiness. They must have been that dumb and dense for not realizing they have been in love with each other for years.
"So does that mean we're girlfriends now?" Chaeyoung asked, now leaning into Jisoo's shoulders as she played with the raven's hand.
"Well, you still haven't asked me, so I guess not?" Jisoo replies, leaning as well on Chaeyoung.
"Then ask me, silly."
"Why me?"
"Why not you?"
"Ask me out."
"No, you ask me out."
"Is this going to be our first love quarrel?"
"It’s not if you’re not going to ask me out."
"Touché."
Chaeyoung laughed and Jisoo smiled before she faked a cough and properly positioned herself, turning her head at Chaeyoung as she held her hand closer.
"Okay, since we're both very stubborn and you're being cute, which is very lucky of you. I'll do the asking then," Jisoo says, earning a slap on her shoulder as Chaeyoung laughs at her. She pouts, before she continues with a smile, "Will you be my-"
"Yes." Jisoo laughs at that.
"Do you even know what I was going to ask?" She teased.
"Oh I know you're going to ask me to be your girlfriend, Soo."
"What if I ask you to be my mega bestfriend instead of being my girlfriend?"
"Oh shut up, simp. You love me." Jisoo laughs at the name.
"Okay, mega best friend who has a huge crush on me."
This idea for a oneshot just popped into my head along with a few others, so I decided to write it.
Well, I'm sick. I am not experiencing Covid symptoms, so I don't believe I have that. I feel like garbage and it hurts to get out of bed. I am coughing every five minutes and just took a NyQuil pill, HOWEVER, that will not stop me from posting on schedule. If God wants me to stop writing, then He's gonna need to try a hell of a lot harder.
On another note, I actually really like OrLu. There aren't a lot of fics about these two, which is pretty sad, in my opinion. I have read a few, and I really like the ship. This shouldn't be too much of a surprise. I can't say why exactly I really like OrLu, I just do. I guess I like it because you can do quite a lot with them in fanfics and not be restricted by canon. I hope that made sense because I don't know any other way to explain it.
I hope you enjoy!
Unexpected Partner (Orga x Lucy)
Lucy sat at the bar, sipping on her favorite strawberry milkshake. She glanced at the request board and then at her team, seeing that Natsu and Gray were arguing while Erza was eating her strawberry cake and getting increasingly annoyed by her two male teammates. Lucy needed to go on a job for rent money but didn't want to deal with her team's destructive nature. Every time they went on a job together, Natsu would burn stuff, Gray would freeze whatever isn't on fire, and Erza would break whatever was left. This would leave Lucy to apologize for the destruction and lose what amount of the reward money was required to fix the damages.
She loved her teammates, she really did, but she couldn't go on every job with them. She had rent to pay, after all. She sighed, finishing off her cold drink and walking over to the request board. She looked at the reward money first, singling out the ones that offered the amount of money she was looking for, and then looking at what exactly the job request was about. She was still analyzing the pieces of paper when an arm wrapped around her shoulders. She knew who the arm belonged to.
A familiar voice greeted her, "Hey, Luce! Looking for a job we can do?"
Lucy looked over at Natsu, answering, "Sorry, Natsu, but I'm going on a solo job."
The dragon slayer pulled away, giving his best friend a look of shock and hurt. "What? We're partners! We go on jobs together!"
Lucy sighed. At least Gray and Erza weren't joining Natsu in his complaining. For now, at least. She shook her head and responded, "no, Natsu. Just because we're on the same team doesn't mean I'm obligated to go on every job with you. I am allowed to go on solo jobs. I have decided to go on a solo job."
She ignored Natsu's pouting in favor of turning her attention back to the request board. She quickly found one that paid three-hundred-thousand jewel. Enough for three months of rent with more than enough money left over to buy food. She read the request. Whoever sent it wanted a mage to take out a small dark guild and rescue the woman that had been captured by them and was being held hostage. It sounded like a job she could handle. Taking it off of the board, she headed over to Mira to get it approved.
Once Lucy reached the bar, Natsu began whining again, "come on, Luce! Let me go with you! It's been a whole month since I've taken a job!"
Lucy didn't look at him. She watched as Mira approved the job request and walked out of the guild to pack as she replied simply, "Go on one with Gray and Erza, or with Lisanna. I'm sure she would love to go on one with you."
She didn't listen for a response as she walked out of the guild and headed for her apartment. She wasn't sure how long she would probably stay in the town the job was in, but it'd probably be a good idea to pack for two weeks. That was quite a bit of packing, maybe she'll have Virgo help her.
Lucy bought her train ticket and sat on a bench, waiting for the train to arrive. She was staring off into space when a loud voice called out to her, "Hey! Fairy!" Lucy broke out of her empty trance and turned her head to see a large man walking toward her, a welcoming smile on his face. He was tall and muscular, with green hair, shirtlessness, and warpaint-like markings on his upper body and face giving him a wild look. She wracked her brain for a name to put to him. She watched him approach her and come to a stop next to her, looking down at her with a smile.
She stared up at him in confusion before recognition hit her. She stood up and smiled up at him. "Hello, Orga. It's been a while."
Orga nodded, saying, "yeah, Fairy. About a year, I think."
Lucy gave him a look of annoyance. "Fairy Tail and Sabertooth are friends now. Could you please stop calling me 'Fairy'?"
Orga gave a humorous laugh before answering, "sorry. Habit, I guess. Hey, Lucy."
The celestial wizard went back to smiling back, responding, "that's better." She then asked, "are you on your way to a job too?"
Orga nodded. "I just finished my first job here in Magnolia. I'm heading to my second one."
Lucy raised an eyebrow, asking, "you took two jobs? And you took a job here?"
Orga nodded. "My first job was pretty easy. Just helping to move a bunch of heavy stuff for some reason that wasn't explained. Nothing big. I decided to take two so I wouldn't be too bored. My second job is in Gardenia Town."
Lucy gave him a look of disbelief. When the Sabertooth mage raised a confused eyebrow. Lucy noticed his confusion by saying, "my job is in Gardenia Town."
Orga's facial expression changed into one of mirrored disbelief. He held out his hand, silently asking for her job request. Lucy reached into the pouch on her hip, pulling out a folded piece of paper. She unfolded it and handed it to him, allowing him to read it over and compare it to his own job request. After reading the job request from the Fairy Tail request board and comparing it to his, Orga looked down at the blonde mage, his eyes wide with shock and slight confusion. He spoke, his voice mirroring the feelings his face and eyes were displaying, "we have the same job request."
Lucy gaped at him. "What?" She took back her job request, also snatching the large man's request to compare them herself. She silently gasped. They were the same, right down to the reward. She looked back up at Orga, saying with a small shrug of her shoulders, "I guess the requestor is desperate."
Orga nodded, adding, "should we team up?"
Lucy looked back at the job requests in her hands before handing the one from Sabertooth back to the god slayer. She answered simply, "I guess we should. It'll make this job easier and faster." Orga nodded, sitting down next to Lucy after she sat back down. The newly partnered mages sat in silence for the train to arrive.
Lucy and Orga stepped off the train, still engaged in a fit of laughter. The train ride had lasted five hours, and the two mages managed to pass the time with conversation about their individual guilds, eventually devolving into talking about their friends, whom they typically team up with. Lucy wiped a stray tear away while asking, "why did you decide to take solo jobs?" Her cheeks were beginning to hurt from smiling so widely, but she ignored it.
Orga looked down at her as they walked to the requestor's house, a just as big smile on his own face, and answered, "Sting is the guild master, so he can't take jobs. Rogue has been pissy lately for some reason, so I'm not going on a job with him because I don't want to be Shadow Dragon's Slashed again. Rufus never was fond of partnering on jobs unless you bribed him. Yukino and Minerva have been going on jobs together a lot lately, saying that they liked the 'girl time' they got to have while on jobs. If you ask me, though, I'd say that those two are using jobs as excuses to go on dates without anybody knowing, even though the entire guild suspects that they are together."
Lucy let out a gasp. "Yukino and Minerva? I wouldn't have guessed." She then smiled and added, "I'm happy for them. Mira is going to flip out when I tell her."
Orga laughed, muttering an "oh no" under his breath, before asking the smaller mage, "what about you?" He placed a large arm around her shoulders, hoping that she wouldn't find it weird.
Lucy felt warmth creep onto her cheeks at the small contact. She turned her head to hide the blush from him, looking instead at the quaint houses they passed. She answered, "I wanted a break from my team's destructiveness."
Orga chuckled before he responded with an amused tone, "I don't blame you. I heard stories."
Lucy paled at the last part. She mumbled, just loud enough for the other mage to hear, "that doesn't sound good."
The pair fell back into a laughing fit, stopping and leaning against each other so they could avoid falling over in their uncontrollable laughter. After a few minutes, they had gained control of themselves and resumed their walking to their requestor's home.
They quickly arrived at their destination, walking up to the wooden door of the two-story house. Lucy raised her fist to knock lightly. They waited a few moments, but nobody had even yelled an answer, making Lucy wonder if she should knock again. Just as she was about to knock louder, the door creaked open, revealing a man that looked as though he was homeless. He peeked his head out of the opening that was just big enough for him to stick his head through. His green eyes were panicked and he looked as though he was expecting to be attacked at any moment. Lucy and Orga gave each other a mirroring confused look, a feeling of alarm mixed in.  Just what had this dark guild done?
Lucy turned her attention back to the man and spoke in a soft and slow tone, not wanting to scare him, "we are here to answer your request." She slowly reached into her small pouch, pulled out her job request, unfolded it carefully, and held it up for the man to see. She then asked, "is there anything you can tell us about this small dark guild? Where it is and how many members, perhaps?"
The man answered so quickly that Lucy and Orga almost didn't catch his words, "ten members! At the abandoned warehouse! Bring back my Crimson safely!" He then pulled back into the house and slammed the door closed.
Lucy and Orga looked at each other again in confusion as to what exactly happened to this man. Orga finally made a guess, " maybe this Crimson person is his wife."
Lucy shrugged. She and Orga walked away from the house. As they walked, Lucy realized that they had no idea where the abandoned warehouse they had to go to was. She stopped walking, Orga coming to a stop next to her. He questioned as he watched her take out a silver key, "what are you doing?"
Lucy ignored the question, instead, she pointed the blade of her silver key at the ground in front of her and called, "Open! Gate of the Compass: Pyxis!"
A flash of light caused Orga to shield his eyes. When he looked back, he saw a red and white bird thing with a compass on its head resting comfortably in Lucy's arms. He raised an eyebrow at it, lifting his fingers and poking the celestial spirit's beak. Lucy giggle at the act, causing Orga to look at her with wide eyes. He thought that she had a great laugh, but her giggle was just beautiful. He felt warmth on his cheeks, knowing that he was blushing. He looked away, hoping that the Fairy Tail mage hadn't noticed. He then asked, "Which one is that?" He hoped that his voice didn't give away how flustered he had become by simply hearing her giggle at such a small action.
Lucy smiled up at him sweetly. She sat the bird spirit on the ground and spoke to it, "Pyxis, could you point us in the direction of an abandoned warehouse?"
The bird squawked happily before the compass on its head began spinning. It quickly came to a stop and the spirit pointed towards a forest that sat nearby. Lucy mumbled, "of course, it's in the forest."
She picked up Pyxis and began walking in the direction it was pointing in, Orga followed, muttering, "a spirit that can give you directions. Yukino should find one."
The two mages eventually came to a warehouse. Lucy dismissed Pyxis and crouched beside Orga behind some bushes and trees. They watched as a couple of dark mages conversed right in front of the entrance of the four-story warehouse. The blonde mage turned to her partner and whispered her plan, "I'll go find the woman while you and a couple of you spirits fight the dark mages."
Orga nodded, adding, "don't waste your magic. I can take them all on by myself."
Lucy shook her head, reaching into her pouch to take out two keys. "I don't doubt your fighting ability, but I think it would be better if a couple of my spirits help you, just in case."
Orga tried to say no but found that he couldn't. He sighed and nodded his head in acceptance of the plan. Lucy smiled. She raised a hand, all five fingers up. She slowly put each one down as she readied her two golden keys in her other hand. Orga shifted, prepared to jump out and start blasting dark mages with his lightning.
Once Lucy put down her last finger, the pair bolted out of their hiding spot. The celestial wizard raised her two keys and shouted, "Open! Gates of the Maiden and Golden Bull: Virgo and Taurus!" The pair of Zodiac spirits appeared and immediately began attacking the dark mages that ran out of the warehouse, being quickly joined by Orga.
Lucy managed to sneak past the fighting mages, slipping into the warehouse and beginning her search for Crimson. After what seemed to be forever, her searching led her to a single jail cell on the top floor of the broken-down building. She ran to the cell, finding that a woman, appearing to be only a few years older than herself, was huddled in the back of the cell, her head buried in her knees. Lucy spoke softly and slowly to the woman, just as she did to the job requestor, "hey, are you Crimson?"
The woman lifted her head and looked at the mage, allowing Lucy to see that she had a head full of red hair, similar to Erza's hair color. Lucy guessed that her red was why this woman was called Crimson. The woman nodded her head in response to Lucy's question.
The blonde mage spoke again, "I'm going to get you out, okay?"
Crimson nodded again. Lucy looked at the lock on the cell's door. She knew that she couldn't break it, so she reached into her pouch and pulled out Cancer's key. She raised it as she summoned the spirit, "Open! Gate of the Giant Crab: Cancer!"
The celestial spirit appeared beside her, asking as he snipped his scissors a few times, "what do you need, baby?"
Lucy pointed at the lock. "I need you to unlock this cell!"
Cancer nodded, unlocking the cell with a pair of his scissors. Lucy thanked him before he returned to the Celestial Spirit World. Lucy flung the cell door open and rushed inside, helping Crimson to her feet and assisting her in walking.
The pair reached the entrance of the warehouse after a slow descent down several flights of stairs. They stepped out to find Orga standing among the defeated dark mages, Virgo and Taurus having already returned to their world.
Orga smiled, exclaiming, "Hey, Lucy! You found her, I see!"
Lucy nodded. "Come pick her up. We'll take her back and then come and get the dark mages." Orga nodded, walking over to the two women and picking up the red-haired woman bridal style. They walked back to the town, intending to also find a doctor for her.
Lucy and Orga sat on the train, on their way back to the respective towns that they lived in. They had returned Crimson to their job requestor, who turned out to be her husband. The couple had a tearful reunion and the man happily gave the two mages their reward money. Lucy and Orga quickly agreed to split the reward money, one-hundred-fifty-thousand jewel per mage. They then turned the dark mages over to the Rune Knights that quickly arrived after being contacted by the two mages via a communication lacrima.
The pair now sat in comfortable silence. Lucy looked up at the large man, seeing that he was staring out of the window. She opened her mouth to say something, but quickly closed it. She wanted to ask Orga if he wanted to hang out sometime, but didn't know how to ask, or even if he was interested in her the way she was interested in him.
The train then came to a stop and the conductor's voice sounded, announcing that they had arrived at Magnolia. Lucy looked back at Orga again, seeing that he was smiling at her. She returned the smile and stood up. She waved goodbye and began walking out of the compartment when she was stopped by a hand gripping her wrist. She looked back to see Orga was still smiling at her, a light blush painted across his cheeks. Lucy waited for him to say something, silently hoping that he would say what she wanted to say to him.
The man then said just loud enough for Lucy to hear, "um...would you like to hang out sometime?"
Lucy's smile widened. She nodded happily. Orga squeezed her hand before letting go and watching her walk off of the train. He leaned back with a sigh, knowing that would need to track down Yukino and question her about what he should do now that he asked Lucy out.
The Equation
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Word Count: 2,235
Warning: Swearing, Violence.
Summary: Tony calls a friend to help fight against a new villain.
Peter Parker Masterlist
*If you haven’t figured it out already, I’m writing Peter Parker in his early twenties because first, I feel like there isn’t a lot of fanfics like that and second because I feel weird writing about an underage kid🥴
Tumblr media
“Tell me again why were going to help Tony Stark?” Wade whined from the passenger seat.
Rolling your eyes you responded. “Because Wade. He needs our help with something..”
“So?” He replied crossing his arms over his chest. "The guy doesn’t do anything for me.”
Scoffing you insisted. “You don’t know that.”
“Don’t I?” Wade countered. “I’ve helped the guy countless times. Not once has he had the decency to help me.”
“He’s a changed man now Wade.” You reasoned. “Besides, you were only focused on fighting Ajax because according to you he fucked yo your face.”
“Well it’s true!” He exclaimed throwing his hands in the air.
“To be fair, why would Mr. Stark care about helping you with a personal vendetta?” You asked raising an eyebrow.
He grumbled. “Fine. You win this one. But I’m not gonna like it.” Wade recrossed his arms over his chest, while looking out of the window.
“Whatever you say, Doc.” You cooed in response.
Walking into the Avengers tower you were greeted by friends.
“Y/N!” Thor roared excitedly. Throwing his arms around you, he lifted you off of the ground swaying side to side as he gave you a bone crushing hug.
“Alright, Thor. Let the poor girl go.” Tony stated.
Placing you back on your feet, you grinned at the towering man above you. Wanda and Natasha were over the moon to see you again. It had been months since the last time you had been together.
“Y/N, nice to finally meet you. I’m Tony.” He spoke extending his hand for you to shake.
Accepting his hand you replied. “Nice to finally be able to put a face to the voice.” You grinned. “Nice to meet you Tony. This is Wade.” Motioning you the awkward man beside you.
“Sup.” He spoke, making sure to pop the ‘P.
Gawking at him, you rolled your eyes and shook your head. “I apologize Mr. Stark. He doesn’t take well to meeting new people.”
“Please call me Tony.” He responded. “It’s alright I’m used to it.”
After the initial meeting, Tony have you and Wade a quick tour around the Tour.
“This is our lab.” Tony grinned opening the door allowing the two of you to step in, as he followed.
“Wow.” You whispered jaw falling slack.
“Y/N, look!” Wade exclaimed from the middle of the room. “We’re amongst your people!”
Groaning you pinched the bridge of your nose. “I hate you.”
“It’s true!” He continued.
You flipped him off in response, causing him bellow in laughter.
“Y/N? As in the Y/N?” A man questioned from beside Wade.
“Y/N look!” Wade called. “You have a nerd fan!”
Letting out a heavy sigh, you walked down the stairs standing in front of Wade.
“Please remind me why we’re friends?” You snapped.
“You’d be bored without me.” He pointed out, throwing an arm around your shoulder. “Besides who else is going to save my ass?”
“No one because apparently they’re all smarter than me.” You groaned.
“Good point.”
Before you could respond, Tony was standing beside the two men in front of you.
“Y/N, this is Ned and Peter.” He motioned towards them. “Guys, this is Y/N.”
Holding your hand out, neither one of the accepted it.
Wade fake coughed a ‘Freak,’ at you before he ventured towards another area of the lab.
All of a sudden, a body was pressed against yours as they began hugging you. Your arms limp at your sides as you stood shocked at the motion. Once your had caught on to the actions, you returned the hug, much to the strangers surprise. Pulling back, the man introduced himself.
“I’m Ned.” He offered his hand. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m a big...big fan of yours.” He beamed.
“Nice to meet you, Ned.” Shaking his hand. “I’m a fan of yours too.”
Shock replaced his excited expression.
“This is Peter.” Tony introduced.
Motioning to a strawberry pink cheek man.
“Y/N.” You responded shaking his hand. “Nice to meet you.”
“Where is she?” A voice boomed, in the lab.
“We’re over here Bruce.” Tony mentioned rolling his eyes.
You shot Tony a widened confused expression.
“Y/N.” The voice called from behind you.
Turning around, you looked at the new man.
“I’m Bruce.” He approached extending his hand. “Nice to meet you.”
Giggling, you accepted his hand shaking it. “Nice to meet you too.”
“Come.” He remarked. “I want to show you something.”
Nodding your head, the group began to follow Bruce. Halting your steps, you looked down the steps turning around to search for your friend.
“Wade!” You exclaimed. “We’re leaving come on, lover boy.”
 “I hate you.” He jokingly replied.
“You loved me.” You remarked nudging his shoulder with yours.
Opening the door to a secure lab, Bruce allowed everyone to walk in. “This is where all the action happens.” He stated motioning towards the lab he and Tony share.
Glancing around the room, there was plenty of unfinished high tech projects. Focusing in, you noticed the new suits that was in the process of being finished. Walking over to them, you admired the work that had been put into them.
“We’re stuck.” Tony commented from beside you. “We can’t quiet get the math right.” He admitted sadly.
“Would you mind if I take a look?” You asked, the chatter in the room coming to a grinding halt.
“Please.” Bruce quickly commented, joining the other side of you handing you their notes.
Silence fell upon the room. The feeling of eyes watching you, sent shivers down your spine.
You hummed. “I found the problem.” Speaking a matter of minutes, you kept your gaze on the paper in front of you.
“The equation is y=mx+b.” You commented. “The Y has a positive value, when it should be a negative value.”
“I...” Tony started.
Interrupting him you continued, “The rise and run are also wrong. It’s a positive when it should be a negative.”
“That’s impossible. I...I triple checked.” Bruce commented taking a look at the paper. “Shit. You’re right.”
Taking the paper from your hands he walked over to his desk, he began reworking the equation.
“Son of a bitch.” Bruce exclaimed. “Tony she’s right!”
“Kid!” Tony pulled you in for a hug. “You did it!”
The rest of the night was spent helping the men assemble the rest of the suits. Looking at the clock it was just after midnight. Pushing your chair back you stood up startling the men.
Stretching you let out a groan. “Well boys. I think it’s time we get going.”
Collectively the group let out a whine.
“Nonsense.” Tony stated. “Stay the night. We have more than enough guest rooms.”
Exhaustion set in, not allowing you to put up a proper fight. Letting out a defeated sigh, you nodded your head. Following Tony, he led you to the room you would be spending the night in. Shutting the door you fell on top of the bed, throwing an arm across your eyes you basked in the silence.
The silence didn’t last long, as a knock on the door sounded. Groaning you yelled, a “Come in.” Not bothering to get up.
“Uh...Y/N?” Peter questioned stepping into the room.
You hummed in response.
“I...I brought you some clothes for pajamas..” He hesitantly stated.
Removing the arm across your eyes, you used it to as leverage hoisting yourself up on the bed.
“Thank you, Peter.”
The door suddenly opened again, as Wade barged into your room.
“Y/N.” He stated placing his hands on his hips. “There’s no way you’re going to sleep. Tony suggested we watch me a movie.”
“Wade..” You groaned.
Looking between you and Peter he wiggled his eyebrows. “Oh I see.” He smirked, nodding.
Opening the door he existed not before yelling, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do kids!”
Flopping back onto the bed, heat began to rise in your cheeks. “I’m sorry about him.”
Peter chuckled. “It’s alright. Mr. Stark likes to embarrass me too.”
Placing the clothes at the foot of the bed, he was about to leave your room.
Over time, you and Wade begun spending more and more time at the Avengers Tower. The team welcomed you both with open arms, happy to more people they considered family.
As you were spending more time with the team, you began spending more time with Peter. He was studying biophysics at NYCU. You considered Peter to be one of your best friends. Tony wanted you to stay at the tower with them, even making a room for you.
Sam and Steve took it upon themselves to train you.
Your back hit the mat with a harsh thud.
“Kid.” Sam muttered. “What’s going on in that head of yours?”
You groaned in response.
“Come on kid.” He stated. “You need to focus, you can’t just rely on your superpowers to save you.”
“Sorry, Sam.” You muttered.
He sighed. “I’m tough on you kid because you have potential.”
Extending his hand, helping you up. Making your way back to your room, you jumped in the shower. Wrapping the towel around your damp body, you walked into your room sitting on the bed. Letting out a yelp, you bolted to your feet. There was a groggy groan that filled the air.
“Y/N?” Peter questioned lifting his head from underneath your blankets.
Gripping the towel tighter around you. “Peter? What’re you doing here?”
“I was sleeping...” He stated as if it was obvious. “What time is it?” He questioned rubbing his eyes.
Glancing at the clock it read 10:30pm. He groaned again.
It wasn’t uncommon for one of you to go into the others room to sleep or spend time together. Peter was usually flirty towards you. Gently touching you, cuddling, purposely leaving clothes in your room knowingly that you would wear them.
Rolling your eyes, you went around the room gathering a change of clothes. Exiting the bathroom, you crawled into bed. Immediately after you were under the blankets, he wrapped an arm around your waist pulling you into him leaving no space between you. Bringing your hand to his hair, you carded through his loose curls. You began tracing his features, lightly tracing over his lips earning a light kiss from him.
The next morning, you woke up to Peter’s head laying on your chest as his limbs were intertwined with yours.
Walking to the kitchen together, everyone turned to look at you both. Whistles sounded through the air.
“Morning kids.” Tony chirped. “I’m so glad you could join us.”
Rolling your eyes, you sat down. Peter placed a cup of coffee in front of you, before taking the seat next to you. Attempting to pay attention to the conversation at the table, a large hand was placed over yours overturning it before lightly tracing shapes and figures in the palm of your hand. Smiling you glanced at the man sitting next to you.
The next day, the villain had made his threat more serious. Everyone spent the day preparing for the anticipated battle. There was a knock on the door, before it was opened. Peter wound his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder, pulling you flush against his chest. Not stopping your movements, you continued to pack your bag. He placed a gentle kiss on your shoulder, causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach, as heat washed over your cheeks.
“Everyone understand the plan?” Steve questioned over the ear pieces.
A series of “Copy that,” sounded through the ear pieces. Your hear began beating at a rapid pace, causing you to hear your heart beat in your ears. Both you and Wanda were partnered together. As the battle had gone down a bad path. You decided that you had to go against the plan, to save your friends.
Before you knew it, you were fighting off four of the villains minions. In no time, the villain had wrapped its giant hand around you before you had a chance to put up a fight.
“Y/N!” Tony yelled through the ear piece.
The villain began mocking you as he brought you closer to his mouth. The thought of a plan floated into your head. As you ‘talked,’ to the villain, you were able to say things that was specific enough to each Avenger secretly telling them the plan you had come up with.
Standing in front of the mirror, you registered all the bruises that littered your body. The battle had taken a toll on you. Being focused on the bruises, a pair of arms wrapped around you exposed waist as a chest pressed into your back. Your shriek filled the air as you furiously spun around. Peter sent you a smirk as you looked at his face. Realizing you were only in your undergarments, you quickly grabbed your robe and rapidly putting it on.
Facing Peter, he took a step forward as you absentmindedly, took a step back as your back was met with the chilled firmness of the wall. Peter reached up, carding his hand into your hair, he cradled your head. Leaning forward, he brushed your nose with his before lightly pressing his lips to yours. Your hands gripped the hem of his shirt, holding him firm to you. Peter pulled back slightly he gazed into Y/E/C.
FRIDAY sounded over the sound system, “Mr. Stark requested both of you join the team in the living room.”
I’ve stolen a prompt from @mcudarklibrary, here is the list here. All credit goes to them, and this was in no way my idea, but I did want to write using these prompts. No one notices the reader missing from the party + Reader has to stay quiet in the library.
Also I put two dresses, so you can visualise the look I’m going for and length I have in mind, I don’t mention any colors or any specific size of woman. (Besides height) But I think a dark colored dress is best suited yenno?
Pairing: Loki x Tall!Reader
Summary: There is a new member in the Avengers, everyone seems to hate him but maybe you will like him as much as he likes you.
Warnings: Dark!Loki, non/dub-con(more dub than non but she did explicitly say no), unprotected sex, superserum!reader, Loki using his powers, choking, manipulation? (It feels like manipulation to me, like guilt tripping), double penetration, oral male and female receiving, mentions a cockwarming
“Are you ready yet?” Nat asked from the your bed.
“Just another coat of mascara.” Holding your mouth open while you brush your eyelashes. A weird habit that everyone seemed to have. Taking a step back to look at yourself you’re pleased with what you see.
Your dress fitting you well, your make up being so close to perfect you wonder how you managed to do it. Bold lips, and some eyeshadow to make your eyes pop, tying your entire look together.
“Let’s go, we’re getting close to fashionably late.” She stood up after finishing strapping her heals. Even with her stilettos she wasn’t even up to your shoulder, she might have if you hadn’t worn heels as well. You like heels and you aren’t going to cater to any men to make them feel comfortable.
The only exception would be Tony or Bruce, but they are mature and secure with themselves so they would never ask anyways.
Tony’s party tonight is to celebrate the welcoming of a new Avenger. He’s not particularly fond of the new addition, but he is always looking for a reason to have a “small” gathering.
You don’t know about him yet, but you know you want to form your own opinion about him. It wasn’t his fault, he was being controlled by Thanos, manipulated by the fact that he felt unwelcome in his own family. Asgardian technology or magic or whatever showed evidence of mind control. But being raised to believe he’s a monster didn’t help anything either. Your heart went out to him. He didn’t even seem to feel comfortable in his true form.
Hoping you’ll get a chance to talk to him tonight, you pull yourself out of your thoughts. Time to focus on the party, you and Steve will most likely be the ones dragging everyone back to their rooms when they’re too drunk to walk.
Getting into the elevator, you ask Friday to take you to the top floor. It was a short ride and when the doors opened it revealed a green and gold color scheme.
“Well the party is for Loki, but don’t you think they went a little overboard?” She mumbled over to you.
“Huh, yeah maybe a little bit.” You smiled and held your finger and thumb mm’s apart. “Just a smidge.”
Natasha grabbed your arm and wrapped it in hers, “Lets get some drinks, come on, I’ll make you one that I know you’ll like.” Weaving through the large crowd.
**********
I saw you walk in, I’ve seen you many times before as well. Not allowed to talk to you or the other members of the team outside of Thor or Stark. I’ve seen you covered in blood, in sweatpants with sleep still in your eyes, but I haven’t seen you like this before. You were breath-taking.
I had hidden my fondness with you so far, but with everyone else’s unwillingness to talk to me, I’ve decided not to approach you first, hoping you would come to me. I don’t want to feel your rejection, which would most definitely happen if I just walk up to you.
Besides, the red head you were with would most definitely verbally rip my throat out if I got anywhere near. Thor brought Asgardian mead the last time he went through the bifrost, and plenty of it.
Sipping on my ale, I try to gain the courage I need to be able to just be here. Even if you only say my name in disgust it will be enough because I know that one day, you will be saying it with adoration.
Just as the way I have always said your name.
**********
“Nat I don’t know why you waste the alcohol on me, it’s not like I can get drunk.”
“This,” she held up a glass bottle that looks to be an antique, “is no regular alcohol. Now quit complaining and try... this.” She finished pouring a pink fruity smelling liquid and pushed the glass your way.
You bring the glass up to your lips and it tasted like a very sweet berry lemonade. You doubted this had any alcohol in it. It tasted just like juice, and you can’t smell anything bad about it.
“Are you trying to trick me or something,” you smiled, teasing her and held out your hand, “can I see the bottle?”
She handed it over with a smirk, and you smelt it, and god it is the worst thing you have ever smelt. Rotting honey and yeast, or maybe it’s more like apple cider vinegar. You quickly hand it back, coughing a little as if it’ll get that rancid smell out of your nose.
“What is that?” You’re about to gag, so you take a drink of the lemonade.
“Asgardian Mead. Who knew even literal gods like to party?” She laughed a little looking at the bottle with wonder before setting it back down underneath the counter. “So what do you think?” She gestured to your cup.
“You actually put that in there? You can’t even tell, how?” You’re drinking it again, genuinely wondering how she did it because she’s an absolute miracle worker.
“Strawberry banana purée, miracle whip, berry inclusions, vanilla extract, and a lemonade that had a lot of sugar. Like enough to make it into a syrup.”
“I can’t even taste banana! You’re magic I swear, can you show me?” You chugged the last of it and got behind the bar with her. You don’t want to bother her for more drinks later tonight because you know that you will want many more.
She shows you through the steps and still are in disbelief when you see the mead being poured in, she used more than you thought she would. Meaning that it is stronger than you gave credit for.
You start feeling a bit tipsy as she finishes it up, “Thank you so much, you are honestly the best.”
“No problem, but you should be thanking Thor, he brought it.” She pointed behind you with a flip of her hair she was walking towards Bruce who was talking to Clint at the other end of the bar.
You look in the direction she gave and through the large crowd you see him in the back corner, surrounded by Steve, Bucky, Sam, and Loki. The man of the hour. Might as well congratulate him while you’re over there.
Hopefully you won’t make a fool of yourself.
**********
“Heyy.” Drawing out the word way longer than it needs to, you go to sit in the space between Loki and Thor. Plopping down in an uncoordinated fashion, but careful not to spill your drink.
“Lady Y/N, how wonderful it is for you to join us. Tell us, are you enjoying tonight’s festivities?” He is his usual joyful self as he brings his arm around your shoulder pulling you close.
“Yes actually, thank you for bringing the drinks, I really appreciate it.”
“Ah, it is nothing. I have heard of your problems with the earthly ale, and I thought I could be of service. To the captain and soldier as well!” He raised his cup, to which you cheered.
“Actually what is mead? ‘Cause I smelt some of it and jesus it smells so bad.”
“It is honey, water, and sugar, fermented for hundreds of years, sometimes thousands. I believe it is a 100 percent alcohol by volume in Midgard terms. The magical properties however make it stronger.” Loki answered the question, after seeing Thor’s unknowing expression. You turn to him, not realizing how close you were sitting to the two of them. You shift in your seat to face him a little better.
“Whoa... what is the regular alcohol by volume percent?” You take another drink, his eyes trained on you.
“10-12 percent for the average wine.”
“How is it that you’re not even from here, but you know more about the alcohol here than me?” You teased, your feeling more comfortable with the liquid courage running through you.
He gave a small smile, “I just enjoy reading.”
“Well, mister bookworm, congratulations on becoming an avenger. I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced.” You held your hand out for a handshake.
“Ah yes of course, I am Loki Laufeyson, son of Odin and Freya.” He grabbed your fingers, twisting your hand so he may kiss your knuckles. His hand and lips were cold, and you feel a burn in your cheeks. Was he making you blush?
“Y/N L/N,” You said breathlessly.
“Y/N. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl.” Your face felt on fire as you couldn’t suppress a small giggle. He smiled once more, rubbing his thumb over you fingers before letting it rest on your thigh.
“So what were you guys talking about?” You scooch into your seat a little more, the action bringing you closer to the man on your right. Which did not go unnoticed by Loki.
He couldn’t focus on anything but you, the conversation going on without him. Not that he minded. It was unbelievable that you’re were acting this way to him. Had you truly seen through his past transgressions?
**********
The rest of the night you spent talking to the group and sneaking glimpses of Loki. He has been awfully quiet, seeming to prefer listening over talking.
“Hey, are you not enjoying the party?” You half whispered over to him. Unable to fully be quiet.
“I am enjoying your company, and that is enough.”
“You said you like books right?” You reach past him to set your now empty glass on the table behind him, making you face to face, noses almost touching.
“I believe I have said that,” he nodded and licked his lips.
“Meet me at the elevator in 5 minutes?” You sat back, hand on his thigh ready to stand up.
“Of course, but the party?”
“It’s not like anybody will notice I’m gone, and I’ve got something to show you.” You stood up and made your way to the bar once more to make yourself a drink to take with you. Using a tall glass this time.
You had your drink and you were walking to the elevator trying to seem as inconspicuous as possible. Probably failing at that since you were a little past tipsy but not quite drunk. It’s a wonder how you are still walking in heels.
Mission completed, you were at the elevator and nobody stopped you and nobody too close noticed you were leaving. With the guest of honor too.
“How punctual,” you tease once you’re in the elevator, you push the button for floor 84. 9 floors below the two of you.
“I would hate to keep a lady waiting. Now where are we going, might I ask?” You look at him and realize just how handsome he is, his black suit fitting him well, really well, and he is also a little bit taller than you with your heels.
“It’s a surprise, you’ll just have to wait and see.” You smiled, feeling butterflies in your stomach. You’re actually feeling excited for the first time in a while. While also hoping you made a new friend.
“Ok, close your eyes.” You stand in front of his and put your hand over both eyes. His hands brushed yours before putting his arms down.
“As you wish.” The elevator doors opened with a little ding.
“Ok walk forward and I’ll lead you.” You giggled, you took your hand from his face but you took his hand in yours, he followed your directions around the tables until he was in the middle of the room.
“Open.” You weren’t even trying to hide you smile anymore. You wondered what he thought of the library. “It’s a replica of the library in Amsterdam, ours is just bigger though.”
“It is indeed very impressive.” He looked around for a few seconds and let out a sigh, “why... why are you doing this?” He leans over grabbing the top of the chair next to him, he looked to you, but you’re speechless.
“...What do you mean?” You take a sip of your drink before setting it on the table beside you.
“I should have to earn your trust, you shouldn’t just give it blindly. Why aren’t you like the rest of your team?” He straightened his posture and rubbed his face; covering his mouth waiting for your answer.
“I..uh. I just thought that I could relate, being controlled, having no freewill. I just thought of what I wanted when everyone refused to talk to me, I just wanted someone to talk to. Someone who would be nice.” It makes your chest hurt hearing his voice sound so sad, broken. “And I am like the rest of my team, we know what it’s like to feel like you do right now. We just don’t know how to deal, you know?”
“You mean there was a point when you couldn’t control yourself?” He looked you in the eyes, and they were glazed over, as if they’ll start watering soon.
“Yeah, they didn’t have you go through everyone’s files when you got here?”
He shook his head, and looked away.
“Well maybe you should talk to them about their pasts, but I can tell you that I know exactly how you feel. 3 years ago I escaped from Hydra, I was their weapon along side Bucky. He escaped first, so I was left to pick up the slack on missions, some of which involved killing very important people.” You turn away. “Including good people. They took my free will away, even now if you were to say a string of words I would have no choice but to comply. I even thought I was a lost cause but the team helped me through it. I can’t even see that person as myself anymore, it was so long ago. The invasion was what? 8 years ago? That person isn’t you.”
“Y/N. I had no idea, I apologize for taking your kindness for granted. I’m sorry for upsetting you, it seems I just have a skewed image of how others perceive me.” He takes a few steps towards you, grabbing your arm. “Please don’t think any less of me than you already do.”
You hug him, burying your face in his neck, “I won’t ever think of you as less than. I mean, you are an actual god.” You chuckle trying to ease the tension.
It grows silent in the room, you stay in his embrace but lean back to look at him. His gaze growing darker. You look at his lips and it doesn’t go unnoticed as he leans closer. You can’t help but feel a pull and you begin to close your eyes. As your lips are just a sliver apart, you pull away.
“I’m sorry, it’s against the rules. We can’t.” You try to pull away but his hands are firm around your waist.
“Rules are meant to be broken,” one hand came up to cradle your cheek. “What is the meaning for such a rule if it keeps people apart.”
“The team lost a member for a couple years because of it. Fury made the rule so that we won’t lose any more..” you can’t help but look at his lips but you shake your head. “No I’m not doing this right now... but shouldn’t we at least talk to him about it?”
“No time,” and with that his lips were on yours, devouring you. You moan as he licks your lip asking for entrance, and you oblige. His other hand comes up and he’s holding both sides of your face. You pull his waist closer to you.
You want so badly to continue, but you both were drunk, and you two can get in a lot of trouble with Fury. Actually you don’t remember seeing him drink all that much. Your hands travel up his sides to his shoulders and you try to push him away, but he won’t budge. You stop responding, your lungs feel like they’re gonna burst and you push harder. He finally relented, and you’re left breathing heavily. You were able to push him away as soon as the kiss breaks
You don’t have a chance to say anything before the door opens, revealing Thor, Sif, and the Warrior Three. Loki waves a hand in their direction and it’s as if you two don’t exist.
“They can’t see us but they will hear us if we get too loud. Or I should say if you get too loud.” He whispered in your ear. Which will probably be hard seeing as they all are basically shouting at each other through their conversation.
“Loki we are not doing this, I’m going to talk Fury first thing in the morning when we’re sober, maybe you won’t even want me in the morning. This is probably the alchohol talking,” you try to reason with him and you feel yourself quickly sobering up as this conversation progresses.
You back away from him but each step you take is matched with a step of his own until you bump into the table behind you. The table made a small sound as it skidded less than 6 inches, and your glass spilling over the side.
All five of them look your way and Loki clamps his hand over your mouth. Thor’s eyes darting all over the place.
“Who goes there?”
Loki has you sat upon the table now and he’s still looking around, and you’re too busy staring at him, hoping that he won’t see you, you don’t feel Loki’s other hand slipping down to your clothed heat. Once you did realize you tried pushing his hand away. Squeezing your thighs together.
You feel another pair of hands and you jerk, trying to free your arms. You look back and see another Loki, with the same dark look as the first. He pulls you to lay you down on the table. Keeping your hands firmly in place, while also still covering your mouth. He spread your legs despite your efforts, and stepped between them.
This never happened, you were a super soldier, how is he overpowering you like this? You know Thor has this godlike strength that is almost a match for the Hulk, but does that extend to Loki? Are Jotunns just as strong as Asgardians?
“Do you wish to be caught by my brother, Y/N? What would Fury think? You don’t want to be caught breaking the rules now, do you?” He leaned down to kiss your neck, peppering little pecks everywhere. You shake your head.
“Good girl.” The Loki holding your arms said, he uncovered you mouth and released your hands before he pulled his hard cock out of his pants. “Open up my sweets.” You reluctantly opened your mouth to have his slide his cock between your lips. You close your eyes, focusing on breathing through your nose as he keeps going deeper with each thrust. He’s holding your hands down again.
Loki’s hand is under your dress, rubbing you through your underwear. A small moan escaped you, muffled by his dick, and you can tell he felt it by the way his breath hitches. He is rubbing small tight circles in such the perfect rhythm, you begin to feel yourself slowing tensing up and he stops. You almost growl as he denied you even the climb, not letting anything build.
He brought his fingers to his lips, wetting them with his spit before he begins to lower himself to your sex, pulling down your panties as well.
You’re not disgusted with his behavior, though you should be. You were more ashamed of yourself, for letting this happen, for leading him on, for every action you made tonight that led to this, even for the fact that you are breaking the number 1 rule that was instilled by Bruce and Nat. But most of all because you are enjoying this. A cock in your mouth and a face between your thighs.
It is getting easier, but he is fucking your face with no mind to if you can handle it. Thrusting slow enough that the table won’t rock, but fast enough that your choking every second. He pushes all the way in holding you there for a couple seconds before he pulls out to let you breath. The action causing your eyes to water up until the tears begin to fall, ruining your mascara.
The first Loki kisses up your thighs slowly, so slow that it is torture and you feel a small heartbeat in your pussy with each kiss that’s climbing higher and higher. You’re holding in every noise that you can, for fear that you will be discovered. You’re only about 10 feet away from Thor for god’s sake. But you thank god that he has gone back to talking with his friends instead of investigating in your spilt drink.
You feel his cool breath breath over your cunt and you’re writhing beneath him, absolutely soaked. He places an open mouthed kiss on your clit, swirling his tongue over it in such a delicious way. Sucking and licking in all the right places, he lets go of your left thigh to insert a single finger into your heat, curling it just enough to hit that spot no one else can seem to find. The difference in temperature making everything just a little more unbearable.
Your legs are over his shoulders and you use them to pull him closer. He receives the message and uses more pressure on your clit, sucking it into his mouth harshly, causing you to arch your back and bucking your hips.
You moan, and it is loud, even through the other Loki’s cock in your throat. You feel the clones hand tightening around your wrists, he thrust deeper causing you to gag silently. You freeze and he doubles his efforts, as if he’s trying to get you two caught. He lets go of your hands and you grab the edge of the table. Needing some sort of stability. The second Loki’s hands going around your throat. Feeling his dick enter your throat, making it bulge with each thrust.
Their speech slowed for a few moments as if they’ll hear it again if they quiet down. Your grip on the edge of the table making it groan, so they are now completely silent listening for anything else. Looking in your general direction.
Loki inserts another finger and he is rubbing that spot with such expertise that it has you seeing stars. He’s sucking on your clit, and you don’t even see the edge before your tumbling over. You can’t control your moan this time, your grip on the table edge tightening so much that you hear cracking until two pieces come off. You’re too blissed out to care about the other people in the room.
“Reveal yourself!” Thor bellows, now angry at the fact someone is toying with him. He is storming towards the table; you drop the splintered wood on the ground, Loki’s clone is gone and you are now able to breath. He picks you up princess style and is swiftly taking you out of the room before Thor reaches the table you have just defiled. Phasing through the door so that you won’t be followed.
Your vision had already returned and there was a slight ringing in your ears when he sets you down to stand. Outside your room it would seem, as you’re now able to take in your surroundings. You can’t get a word in before he is pushing you against the wall, grinding into you, ravishing your neck and chest. You are a mess and your muscles feel like jello.
“Wait... wait! Loki stop!” You were getting your bearings again. Knowing well enough how much trouble you are getting into right now. You normally wouldn’t be a stickler for rules but Fury scares the shit out of you, and you’re kind of angry that Loki didn’t listen to you in the first place.
“Darling, I know how much you want me,” he grabbed your pussy roughly. He lets out a low groan that goes straight to your pussy, the need evident. “Gods, you are soaking. I doubt you want me stopping now, especially when just seconds ago you were mewling and writhing in pleasure.” Each word he’s saying is making you more wet by the second, and it’s because you know he’s right.
He’s now grabbing both of your legs and supporting you on the wall. You can clearly feel the bulge in his pants twitch. He is still leaving you breathless.
“Beg for me, beg for my cock in that sweet little cunt.” You can feel the pressure rising once more as the fabric feels so good against your bare pussy.
“Please, Loki, I need you.” He raises an eyebrow at you, “I need— I need your cock in my pussy. P-please” you let out a groan as you are so close to cumming again.
“That’s my good girl,” he kisses you as he barges into your room. Locking the door behind him. He sits in the bed with you in his lap and his arms snake up to the collar in the back, ripping it off of you, not paying any mind to the zipper he just broke. Your left in nothing but your bra and he rips that off of you as well. You would be mad, but you simply can’t think.
You begin pushing his blazer over his shoulders, but with a snap he is fully nude, and painfully hard and prodding your ass. You would get down to your knees, but he flips you when you tried shifting your weight. He has you pinned beneath him and he is rubbing your entrance with his cock.
“We’re you a good girl? Do you deserve my cock?”
“Yes. Yes, I’m a good girl, please. I need your cock” you’re writhing in pleasure and all you can think of is him. He has completely taken you over.
“Good girl.” He thrusts into to the hilt, giving you no time to adjust as he’s already started a steady speed. The pain adding to the pleasure, making your eyes water. You’re sure you looked wrecked.
He fondled your breasts, bringing his mouth down to your nipple as he tweaks the other. You take your nails down his back and he arches, grabbing your wrists and pinning them down with one hand, the other going to your throat again, giving a light squeeze before going to run your clit. The stimulation has you cumming in seconds, tightening around his dick. To which he growls, thrusting harder and overstimulating you. “Oh gods you are tight, such a responsive little thing.”
The feeling has your toes curling, he’s rutting into you much faster now, and he’s still rubbing small circles into your little bundle of nerves and it has you crying out once more as you cum again. You’re sure you’re screaming now, and you’re glad for the soundproofing Tony put in.
He situated the two of you so that you were on top, and you’re trying to ride him, needing him to just move, when you feel something cold on your asshole.
“No, Loki, I can’t.” You exhaled in a breathy moan as he inserts one finger slowly. Another clone has appeared since the one in front of you is tweaking your nipples and sucking hickeys onto your chest.
“Yes you can darling.” He over the blissed our look on your face. “Ah, beautiful.”
One finger becomes two, scissoring inside you, stretching you out. It feels so good, but you need more. Your clawing your fingers down his back once more and you receive a spank in return as the Loki you’re holding arches his back.
“Are you going to be a good girl and cum for me once more? Do you want my seed? You want me to fill you up?” He inserted a third finger and is thrusting them into you faster, one hand going to rub your clit.
“Please... plea-“ you can’t get out a full sentence, just blubbering nonsense.
“What was that?” He smirked, slowing down and grabbing a handful of your hair to pull your head back a little bit.
His actions pulled a sob from you, “plea... please, cum in me.. fill me up please, I’ll be a good girl, please.”
“Such a good little slut, begging for her holes to be filled.” He removed his fingers and slapped your ass then spreading your cheeks apart, making you moan for him. He pushes his cock in inch by inch, and it is torture. You feel so deliciously full, he let you adjust this time before both slowly beginning to thrust in and out of you. Never leaving you empty, they build a rhythm.
You feel the tension inside you you getting tighter as they rut into you. You can’t hold back any moans, not even as the second Loki brings his hand around to choke you, pulling you back till your head is resting on his shoulder. Your breasts jiggling with each thrust. He’s placing open mouthed kisses over your shoulder and neck before turning your head and kissing your lips successfully silencing you. The steady slap of skin now being the only sound in the room.
His tongue expertly invading your mouth, your tongue not even put up a fight for domination. He bites your lip tugging on it before resuming the kiss. Your hands clawing at his forearms.
They start going faster, and you can’t take it anymore when you cum again. They both slow down giving you a chance to collect yourself.
“Do not cum again until I say so.” He reaches one arm around you to rub your clit again. By then you are so sensitive are so close to cumming, but you hold back. “I expect us to cum together.” The one in front of you says.
You moan loudly, “please... I can’t. I can’t hold it.”
“Yes you can love,” he pulled your hair again, “and you will.”
You feel a mouth at your nipple again, tongue swirling around the peak before a small graze of the teeth. Fingers expertly tweaking the other nipple. Then he switches sides after the process.
The second Loki slaps your ass once.. twice.. three times, before holding your hips to keep the rhythm steady. The pleasure becoming too much and you think you’re about to explode. You’re holding onto him as if he’s your lifeline. Your hands traveling up his arms, around his neck and into his hair. You give it a small tug and it is met with a growl. His hips are stuttering though, so you hold out just a little bit longer. Their grunts and moans sound like heaven. His grip on your hips are for sure going to make bruises.
“Cum for me darling, now.” He practically growled, but you could barely hear it, already falling over the edge once more. He bites your neck as the other sucks on your sweet spot just above your collarbone, the pain mingling with the pleasure, cumming so hard that your vision goes black in the corners, your eyes filling back so hard it’s about to give you a headache. Feeling his warmth spill into your ass and pussy, creating aftershocks that have you twitching.
You collapse onto the first Loki and you know that you will feel everything tomorrow. Loki slowly pulls himself out of your ass, causing you to whimper. He stands up and goes to your bathroom, coming back with a warm wet wash cloth to clean you up with.
He winces as he wipes between your legs, which has you writhing. He also had a makeup wipe, washing away the mascara from your cheeks and the remnants of your makeup from earlier. He kissed your nose when your face is clean. The clone disposed of the wipe and rag and evaporated into the air.
“I apologize my sweets, I should have been gentler with our first time.” He gathers you up in his arms bringing you to lay down properly in the bed, under the covers.
Loki climbs in with you cuddling you close to his chest. You are still on top of him. Your eyes are weak, you are exhausted. His heartbeat lulling you to sleep. You realize his cock is still in you, you lift your hips but he shoves you back down harshly. Sending a jolt through you as you moan again.
“I want to be in you,” he pushed your ass down, causing him to go deeper and drawing a whimper from you. “All night.”
You nodded, nuzzling your face into his neck. Leaving one small peck before letting your eyes drift close. His hands rubbing up and down your back in a soothing gesture before coming to rest at your ass.
“We are so fucked.” You managed. He chuckled.
“Don’t you worry about Fury, my love. All is taken care of.” He kisses your forehead.
You snuggled further into him, getting comfortable, before you’re out like a light.
“You’re mine, and I’m not letting you go. Fury won’t take away what is mine.” Kissing your forehead reassuringly.
World Champions - (Rose Lavelle x reader)
For this one the reader is a male so sorry about it but I kinda need it for it to be a guy for this because he's going to be on the French Men's National Team
Y/n's Pov
I fix my cap on my head as I walk through the streets trying not to be recognised which is even harder now with the women's world cup on in France. And it's not hard to pick them out as there are fans carrying their countries flags and where their home colours. I smile when I see a French jersey walking the streets.
I smile when I see a bunch of kids playing with a ball. One kid had the ball and started juggling it and tried to do an around the world but loses the ball as it rolls towards me. I smile as I stop the ball and start juggling it while walking back toward the group of kids. I kick the ball up and balance it on my back. While I'm hunched over I take off my sunglasses as I hold out my hand to shake one of the boys hands. The boy gasps as he jumps up and down before shaking my hand. They start speaking in rapid french as I laugh and talk to them for a bit. I take a few quick pictures before I'm on my way again.
I walk down the street to my original destination my favourite ice cream parlor. The shop was a small quiet one that kinda hidden on a side street that I stumbled soon one day and have been coming to since. To come here you would either have to know where your going or you just happened to stumble across the place.
When I walk in I see a group ahead of me having trouble ordering. The owners are friendly with me seeing as I'm a regular here. "Salut Pierre, tu as besoin d'aide?" (This came from google translate so sorry if this isn't correct. Hi Pierre, do you need some help?"). "Ce serait super merci Y/n" Pierre nods (That would be great thank you Y/n). I turn back to the group but I freeze when I realise who I'm talking to.
"Sorry we were here first" the defender says as she narrows her eyes at me. I shake my head and smile at them, "No no no. It's not like that. Pierre doesn't speak English so I was just wondering if he needed help with your order as I guess none of you speak French". The small red head blushes, "Oh sorry". "Would you mind ordering for us. Our french isn't the greatest" one of the blondes speak up. I smile, "Of course what are you having?". They all tell me their orders and then I turn to Pierre, "Puis-je obtenir un chocolat, une fraise, un citron, un oreo, une route rocheuse et mon habituel s'il vous plaît?" (Can i get one chocolate, one strawberry, one lemon, one oreo, one rocky road and my usual please?") Pierre nods and tells me they'll be done in a minute and they'll be dropped down to the table.
"Merci beaucoup" I thank him before turning to the girls, "they'll bring them to the table in a bit". They nod as they follow me to a booth and sit down. "Thanks for helping us. I don't think we ever would have been able to order if it wasn't for you" the brown haired midfielder smiles. "You know I would have thought you would have been fine seeing as one of you played for PSG when they were younger" I tease as the blonde blushes, "In my defense it's a bit rusty". "So I take it you know who we are so?" The freckles defender asks from beside me. I chuckle, "Well I mean who doesn't know one of the best teams in the world".
"We never got your name" someone asks. It's then I realise I never took off my hat and sunglasses. When I pull them off I can see all their mouths drop open causing me to laugh, "I'm guess you know who I am as well it seems". "Your Y/n L/n! Of course we know who you are!" Sonnett exclaims. "And your Emily Sonnett, Lindsey Horan, Kelley O'Hara, Mallory Pugh and Rose Lavelle of the US women's National Team" I answer. "You watch womens soccer?" Rose asks. "Of course I do. I always watch your games. You have some of the best players in the world on your team" I smile looking directly at her which causes her to blush and look down slightly.
Before anyone else can speak Pierre comes with a tray with our ice-cream and hands them out while he passes me my big sundae. Sonnett's eyes go big, "What is that?!" I smirk, "One of the greatest things you will ever taste". "Can I try some?" Rose asks shyly. "Sorry World Champions only" I tease, "maybe if you win the world cup then I'll share". "Yeah Rose world champions only" as Kelley swipes some of my sundae before I can stop her. I laugh as I fist bump Kelley as Rose pouts but I slide the bowl toward her as she tries some of mine. Rose smiles happily at me while taking some of mine.
I continue to talk to the girls about the world cup and everything else until we're eventually done our ice cream which was finished a lot quicker due to Rose stealing mine. Right before we leave I walk up to Pierre and pay for everyone. "You didn't have to do that you know? We could have paid" Rose smiles. I shrug, "You can pay me back when you finally get equal pay". Kelley snorts, "That may be a long time".
I shake my head, "Honestly it's ridiculous but I don't think you should be getting equal pay-". Before I can finish Kelley interrupts me  trying to size me up but it doesn't work as I kinda tower over her, "What did you say?" I laugh, "You didn't let me finish! I don't think you should he getting equal pay with the men's teams when you are clear better than them. I think you should he getting paid more. Like they didn't even qualify for the world cup, which you have won 3 times already". "About to be 4!" Mal shouts as Lindsey and Sonnett join in. Once again Kelley's face turns pink, "Sorry...again". I shake my head, "It's fine. I understand where your coming from".
Kelley smiles at me before she runs ahead and jumps on Mal's back leaving me to walk behind them with Rose. "This is your first world cup yes?" I ask as we walk. Rose nods but I can still her bite the corner of her lip, "Yeah. I just hope everything goes okay". "Well from what I've seen your one of the best midfielders in the game so I don't think you have anything to worry about" I say as I nudge her shoulder slightly. I can see a slight pink tint come to her cheeks, "Well unless you face France that is". She nudges me as I laugh loudly which causes the ones in front of look back at us.
For the rest of the walk I learn more about the American midfielder and she is extremely excited when I tell her about my little husky Bella. Sadly we reach their hotel which mean going our separate ways, "Well this is us". I nod, "Well if I don't see you again. I wish you the best of luck with your games and the equal pay". Mal smiles at me, "Thanks Y/n. We should meet up again if you have time so we can pay you back for the ice cream". "Your fine consider it a thank you for all your doing to impact women's soccer" I shrug. "Will you be coming to any of the games?" Emily asks as I catch her giving Rose a quick look. Rose elbows her as I laugh, "I will definitely try to come to some of your matches".
The rest of them smile before saying a quick goodbye and heading inside which leave Rose and myself alone. "I don't think they're very subtle are they?" I ask as I motion to them trying to hide as they watch us. Rose sighs and shakes her head, "Not at all". "Well I hope this isn't the last time we meet. I enjoyed talking to you" I smile down at her. She blushes crimson, "Yeah it was fun". I think for a moment before chancing it as I gently take her phone out of her hand, "Well how about if you ever want to explore France you can give me a call and I'll be your tour guide" I say as I type my number into her phone. Rose laughs and nods, "You'll be my first call".
I smile as I kiss both of her cheeks which causes her face to go completely red as I chuckle, "Jusqu'à la prochaine fois ma belle fleur".(Until next time my beautiful flower). She tilts her head at me, "What does that mean?" I shrug and smile, "Can't remember. Au revoir Rose". And with that I walk home leaving her flustered behind me.
XXX
I sigh but clap as the referee blows his whistle signalling the end of the match which ends in the US favour. Although I'm happy they won it was bittersweet seeing as they were after knocking out France of the running. I find myself on the pitch consoling some of the players. "Pas de veine. vous avez bien joué, vous méritez d'être allé plus loin" I say to Henry. (hard luck. you played great you deserve to have gone further). She nods glumly before walking off to talk to her teammates. My eyes trail to the American side watching them celebrate their well earned victory. My eyes land on a certain midfielder who's jumping up and down celebrating with her teammates.
I start to walk over but I decide against it and let her celebrate the win. I walk toward the tunnel when someone calls my name. I turn to see Kelley running up to me with a big smile plastered on her face. "Hey Kelley. Great game". She smirks at me while raising an eyebrow at me, "Are you that upset we knocked out France that you left the pitch instead of talking to us?" I toss my head back and laughs, "I thought I would let you celebrate the win instead of bothering you guys". "Well I don't think Rose would mind you bothering her" she teases as she wiggles her eyebrows at me. I cough as I try to hide my blush when I hear the clitter clatter of cleats walking towards us.
I look down the tunnel to see the team walking towards us. When Rose spots me she jogs up to us and hugs me, "I didn't know you were coming today!" "Well I said I would come to some of your matches didn't I? You played great by the way" I compliment. Again her cheeks tint pink while everyone smirks at us, "Thanks". "You mad we knocked out France?" Emily teases as she pokes my cheek. I roll my eyes as everyone laughs, "I'm sad they didn't get farther but I'm happy that they lost to you guys".
"Does that mean you'll buy us more ice cream?" Mal jokes. I snort, "Come back to me when your World champions and I'll see". "Well I want the one you got last time" Rose smiles. "Do you not remember? That's for world champions only. You gotta win first" I tease. "Yeah Rose have to be apart of the world champions club" Kelley teases as she wraps an arm around Alex. "Fine but that means you have to be there watching when we get to the final" Rose grins.
I shrug, "Okay but I'll need to get a jersey so everyone knows who I'm supporting". "You should wear your favourite players jersey" Lindsey smirks. "Maybe I will. I already have someone in mind" I smile. "Who would that be now?" Rose asks a smile gracing her face.
"Tobin Heath of course" I smile cheekily. Rose pouts while everyone laughs and I high five Heath. Everyone starts to walk to their dressing room which leaves us alone again while she still pouts at me, "Are you seriously going to wear her jersey?" "Well I mean she is an unreal player AND she's a world champion". She shoves me as I burst out laughing, "Your mean". "I'm joking! I'm joking! I'll probably wear number 16's jersey. She's been on fire recently" I say once my laughter ceases. "Yeah I hear shes a pretty good player" Rose smiles. "I guess I better go find one of her jerseys then" I grin.
We stand there for a bit longer and I laugh as I can hear the shouts coming from the girls locker room, "I better let you get back to your teammates". "Yeah before someone comes looking for me" she nods. "Au revoir ma belle fleur" I whisper as I kiss both her cheeks again. I smile as her face heats up again and groans, "What does that mean?" I shrug before I start walking away down the tunnel.
"Win a world cup and I'll tell you"
"Your insufferable!"
XXX
I was up on the feet as Rose scored the second goal of the match against the Netherlands. The stadium was deafening as all the US supporters were on their feet celebrating. I watched as Rose was swarmed in hugs on the field before she runs to the bench and hugs her teammates. As they jog back to their half I see her look around before she lands on me and smiles seeing me on my feet clapping.
The rest of the game passes by slowly as the Dutch doesn't give in and keep playing. But it seems that Roses goal solidified their victory as finally the final whistle blows. The sub rush the bench as the stadium is in up roar as the US become back to back World champion's.
I smile as I can see some of the girls start to cry as they celebrate their victory. As the stage is being built the girls go celebrate with their families in the stands. I was surprised to see Rose jogging over to me as I catch her in a hug. "Congrats Rose I knew you would win!" I shout over the crowd. "Now you and Kelley can stop teasing me about not being a world champion" she tells me. I laugh, "Welcome to the club champ". She's about to say something but she's being called away by the girls. "Go join your team ma belle fleur" I tell her. She sighs and looks back at the girls, "I expect to see you at the party later as well. I'll tell them to let you in". "I'll be there" I smile.
She grins before she runs back over to the girls celebrating their world cup win.
XXX
I walk into the party a bit awkward seeing as I don't really know anyone here. "Y/n!" I turn and see Lindsey and Emily have spotted me and had already had a few drinks in them. "Hey guys" I laugh as Lindsey stumbles towards me with Emily close behind, you okay there?" "Never better! We're world champions!" Emily cheers sloshing her drink a bit.
"Any ideas where Rose is?" I ask. They both start giggling excessively as they both turn and walk from where they came from, "Rose!! Lover boy is looking for you". I scoff as I can feel my face heat up as I spot Rose talking at the bar with Mal. The whole bar pretty much turns to look at me as Lindsey and Emily start pushing me towards Rose. Mal waves at me before dragging the two blondes away leaving me with Rose who's still laughing at my expense. "Yeah yeah two of your best friends just embarrassed me infront of the whole bar. Laugh it up" I roll my eyes as she eventually stops.
"Well you clearly haven't see the news yet then" she giggles. I look at her confused before she pulls out her phone and shows me an article of us two hugging as the article talks about how the two of us are dating because I was wearing her jersey. "Well then. They got that done quick" I sigh as I run a hair through my hair. "Does that mean you'll buy me my ice cream tomorrow boyfriend?" She teases as she takes another drink. "If you remember that tomorrow then sure" I laugh as I get my own drink.
"So how is it feeling to be a world champion?" I ask. "Great you want to know why?" She smirks. "Okay I'll bite why?" I ask. "Well it's great being a world champion, but you know what's even better? Being a world champion who scored in the world cup final. Not that you would know" she says grinning in my face. "Oh okay then. I admit defeat. "You are clearly the superior player" I smile. "Now your getting it" she laughs.
For the rest of the night is spent dancing and a lot of drink as well as singing 4 stars. For a short while we were able to slip away into a corner under a bunch of fairy lights. "Well seeing as your my boyfriend now. Does that mean you would like to come to the ESPY's with me?" She asks as she looks up at me. I smile down at her, "I will on one condition". "What is that?" She asks. "This" I cup her face and bring my lips to hers.
When we break apart we were both breathless. "Woah" I breath out which causes her to giggle, "Not a bad way to end a great day".
"Who said it had to end ma belle fleur?"
Okay I'm sorry if this isn't really great. I had this for a while and every time I tried to write it, it was a bit eh so this is the best I could come up with. But it's longer than usual ones! I hope you liked it!!
Every time your alarm rang, you quote Cinderella at it, groggily saying, "Oh, that clock. Old killjoy." You hate waking up early, as sleep was such a beautiful thing in your book. When you were asleep, you were at peace, as if everything that had happened that day whether good or bad just went away. You were free in your dreams, running around like a child in a field of lavender. You had that dream here and there before you met Spencer. When the feelings for him grew over the course of a week, you started getting that dream frequently instead of waking up thinking you didn't dream or remembering a weird one. He would show up as a shadowy figure on the other side of the field and you would run over to it until you woke up once the figure turned around.
After you two made it official, the blur of the figure disappeared and turned into him. You would run as if it was the speed of light towards him, and he would turn around in a lilac colored cardigan, barely hiding the huge grin on his face. Spencer would pick you up around your waist and lift you up as he spun you around. Right before you kissed, however, you woke up. You were into the meaning of dreams, so you thought that at the right time, the kiss would happen.
As you got ready for the day, you couldn't stop thinking about the past month. You remember meeting Spencer and how your heart skipped a beat when your eyes first met in the conference room. You remember getting drunk and high with the team and how your boss was pretty much the life of the party without really meaning to. You laughed to yourself as the thought of Spencer high on edibles at Rossi's came in. He ate a whole brownie before Garcia could give a warning and once it kicked in it was hard not to laugh at his goofiness as he would only talk about Star Trek the whole night. He could've had the whole pot of spaghetti his munchies were so bad.
Garcia crept into your brain again as you got in your car. That night, instead of Spencer coming in to clean you up, it was Garcia.
With a wet washcloth in hand, she stood by the door and saw you on her bed, the laughter and voices echoing down the hall and into the room. You tried to cover yourself but she waved her hand away.
"Sugar cakes, don't worry about it," she said, walking over and sitting in front of you on the side of the bed. In a comforting way, she put a hand on your leg, rubbing it gently, "I'd be mad if it was other people on my bed going at it like rabbits. But you two? I don't seem to feel any steam coming out of my ears."
"Are you sure?" You asked, embarrassed, "I'm so sorry, Garcia."
"I'm just thankful that boy genius got laid."
The two of you laughed as she handed you the cloth. You took it and began cleaning yourself up, trying to clean what fell out onto the bed. Once you were done, Garcia gave you some advil and some water as you gave her the cloth back.
"Are you feeling ok, hun?" She asked as you were sipping on your water.
"Yeah, just a bit sore but nothing I can't handle." You hand her the glass of water back and fixed your pillows so they'd help you sit up.
"Reid is a very kind and respectful guy, Y/N," she said as she softly rubbed your leg, "I've known him since Gideon brought him on the team, I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt you."
"I see that in him," you said, "When he's not ruining me he's a total sweetheart and always open to trying new things if he wants to. He's really special to me, Penelope. I've never met someone like him. He's probably the first guy to want me for everything else, like the sex is just a bonus. Men back home were never like that."
Garcia smiled as she got up, looking down at you before leaning down and kissing the top of your head. "I'm glad you're here, Y/N. You've been the last missing puzzle piece for our team since you first walked in the conference room." Then she left, probably to let you rest.
You were still for a few minutes before you decided to try and get up. Once you were able to stand, you walked slowly out of the bedroom and back to the living room, which felt like it took you years to get to. You saw Spencer sitting on the couch next to Morgan, taking a joint from his hands. You watch as he put it to his lips and inhaled, holding it in for a sec before exhaling a big cloud out. He coughed before taking it back to his lips and took a couple more, handing it over to Jj.
As you parked in the parking garage, you remembered the butterflies you felt when his eyes caught yours. Morgan had got up and helped you walk to the couch, where you lay down with your legs on Spencer's lap. That night was so magical, but now you're back to work, dreading the amount of files that would be piled on your desk.
When you got out of the elevator to the 6th floor, you walked in the bulpin thinking you'd see Spencer at his desk, but your smile faded when you didn't. You looked around the room until you turned all the way around to the conference room, seeing all your friends in the window. You quickly-but calmly-walked up the ramp and into the room with a smile on your face, yet it went away again once you felt the room, seeing all their stern or worried faces.
"Y/L/N," said Hotch, "please take a seat."
"Is everything alright?" You ask as you sit next to Spencer. He locks his arm around yours and takes your hand in his, kissing it, knowing it was a way of his to comfort you.
Hotch was silent for a moment before he spoke. "While we were on our vacation, new cases have come to us. These cases were ones we had already solved, however."
No one spoke as he explained the two copycat cases. One was based from The Fox, a case they solved years ago, but it wasn't exact. The fox was more known for killing big families but this copycat killed small families, ones with only children. The other was one you knew all too well. A few years ago, couples were left in trunks of cars, all cut up and stabbed. You studied this case when it happened, and wrote an outstanding paper on it for class.
"We now have a copycat on our hands. This investigation will be going along while we also work on other cases. If needed, protection will be put for our loved ones. That is all. So far there hasn't been one to go to, but myself and Jj will let you know if one comes in."
With that, we all slowly walked back to your desks. Thankfully, yours was right in front of Spencer's. A part of you felt safe no matter what scenery you were in. But you still felt worried. With not being on the team for much time, you were scared for your friends. Stuff like this was part of the job, but that didn't mean you couldn't be human.
One thing was lingering in your mind the whole day...Was there a deeper connection between the two copycat cases?
~~~
Later that night, you finished your work for the day and headed home. Both you and Spencer felt too tired to do something, so you both went your separate ways. When you got home, you threw your bag and keys to a chair and fell on your couch as your dogs attacked you with love and kisses. Taking your boots off, you took your phone out and looked through your delivery apps to see if anything sounded good, but you didn't feel that hungry as you saw all the delicious options.
Remembering you had some wine on the counter, you got up and poured yourself a glass. You got changed into crewneck sweater and sweatpants that had U of M written all over it. Putting your hair up in a high ponytail, you made your way back to the couch and went through your phone, catching up on text messages from your dad, looking through memes and videos.
After a bit of time has passed, you were on your third glass and were feeling very tipsy. You turned on your speaker and went through your the music on shuffle before stumbling upon a song from high school, Strawberry Avalanche by Owl City. You hadn't listen to it or his music in years, so you decided to keep it on for old times sake. As the song got to the chorus, you felt your tipsy brain taking over, getting up from the couch and dancing along. Your furry friends-as Garcia would say-joined you as you picked up Draco's paws and gently brought him up on his back legs, while Benedict barked and went around in little circles, his eyes never leaving you.
You went to sleep after your dance party, wanting the comfort of your own bed rather than the less comfortable couch. As your children climbed on and settled down, you tried to drift off right away, wanting to go back to your dream, but you couldn't stop thinking about the deeper connection between the two cases. That feeling was bothering you beyond belief, as if it was on the tip of your tongue or right under your nose. 'They're not just copycats,' you thought, 'so then what's the other connection, if there is one?'
You sat up, letting your pillows support your back. You grabbed your notebook from the side table and pen and started writing down what you remembered from what Hotch said. They are copycats from two they have already solved. One in Detroit, the other in their own backyard. It couldn't of been anniversaries because they didn't happen on their exact days, but it could be revenge on the team.
You went deeper into the cases to feel an epiphany run through your whole body. The Fox copy killed smaller families, but the wife was left last. And in the Detroit copy, it was only straight couples and the women were stabbed the most.
This unsub was going after girlfriends and wives.
