But deep down we are all have tiny fragment of homo erectus within us.

Tumblr media
Your eyes flutter open as you stretch the sleep out of your body. You reach the king sized bed, pulling your phone off the nightstand to check the time. Instead, you are distracted by a text notification. It’s from Harry. You rub the sleep from your eyes so that you can read the message carefully and unlock the phone.
I know you said you were just tired, but it felt like more than that. I want to be your safe space, but understand if you are hesitant. I won’t bring it up again, just know that I’m here for you. I’ll see you in a few hours.
He sent that text at four in the morning. You had Harry so worried about you that instead of resting for his show, he was thinking about you. You needed to find a balance, you didn’t want to get any more attached to him than you already were, but you also didn’t want to be a distraction from his tour.
You got out of bed and started getting ready, the whole time coming up with a plan for the best way to get through the day. You decided that you had to just go back to how things were this time yesterday. It was your last day with Harry anyway, if this was going to be your last memory of him, it might as well be a good one.
You hadn’t been told what time to get to the venue today, so you figured you were supposed to get there around the same time as yesterday. Since you had some time to kill, you relaxed on the bed in your leggings and a tank top, watching television until you had to get dressed and head out.
You were startled by a knock on the door, you weren’t expecting anyone and you definitely had your do not disturb sign up. You approached the entrance and leaned up, looking through the peephole. It was Harry, his hands were behind his back, and he seemed nervous.
You took a deep breath before opening the door. He looked at you with a questioning expression, and you smiled softly at him, signaling that you were better. He sighed in relief and removed his hands from behind his back, unveiling two Starbucks cups.
“Trick or treat!” He says, his dimples on full display.
“Aww Harry, that was really sweet but I don’t–”
“Drink coffee,” he interrupted you. “You told me. It's hot chocolate, the only hot drink you like.” He extended one of the drinks in your direction.
Fuck, this was going to be a hard day.
“Thanks,” you took it with a smile.
As you turned to walk back in the room, Harry cleared his throat, you turned to see he hadn’t entered yet. “What, are you some kind of vampire or something? I’ve gotta invite you in?”
“Nope, just waiting for my delivery fee.” He arched a brow and tapped his lips with his index finger.
You chuckle and step up to him, placing your lips to his. “Good morning, Harry.”
“Good morning, princess.” He smiled before pulling you in again, kissing you deeper this time. “Now, let’s see this room, shall we?”
You guide Harry inside, he lets out a low whistle as he take a look around. “Nice digs.”
“It’s fine, I’m sure it’s not half as nice as the hotel you’re staying in.” You take a quick glance around the room in case there’s anything you might not want Harry to see.
“Oh, I’m not in a hotel. I have an apartment here.” His eyes catch it before you do, there’s a panic in your face as you rush to the bed, but he gets there first. “Who do we have here?” He pulls a stuffed fox off the bed and looks it over.
You snatch it out of his hands, your face going bright red. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Hey, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about, princess.” He brushes a stray hair behind your ear.
Your gaze drops to the floor, but he puts his finger under your chin, forcing you to look at him. “I uh… ugh, this is going to sound so lame and needy.”
“Try me,” he encouraged.
“When I sleep, I need to have my arms around something. I’m a hug sleeper, so I sleep with that every night.” You look back down at the floor.
“I knew you were a snuggler,” he smiled, pulling the fox from your hands and dropping it  on the bed before pulling you in close. “I’m going to get you a body pillow with my picture on it. It seems like the only logical solution.” You laugh into his chest and he holds on tighter. “I love making you laugh.” He placed a kiss on the crown of your head.
“So did you come by just to deliver me a hot chocolate?” You change the subject.
“Nah, we don’t have to be at the venue until later, so I thought we could go out. Maybe grab a quick lunch, sightseeing, something like that?”
“That sounds fun. Should I bring my costume for tonight?” You move to your closed while you talk, pulling a long sleeved tee out and over your head.
“Sure, we can drop it off there on the way. One less thing to worry about later.” He pulls his phone out of his pocket, smiling when he looks at the screen. “Goddamned paparazzi.” He laughed.
“Is everything okay?” You ask, taking a seat at the desk to slide your shoes on.
“Great actually. Did you know we were being filmed last night?” He holds up his phone, showing you the pictures that Jeff took in Harry’s dressing room. “How cute are we?”
“The cutest,” you reply, feeling yourself get emotional at the pictures. That moment meant everything to you, and there was photographic evidence of it.
Harry sends you the pictures and the two of you go on your way. He once again insists on carrying your backpack for you. After dropping it off at MSG, you head to Central Park. Harry’s hand seems glued to yours the whole time. Though you heard a few ‘is that Harry Styles?’ mumbles and some gasps as you travel the streets, people were respectful for the most part, giving you both your space.
“Y/N?” A voice calls as you stroll through the park.
You and Harry both freeze. “How is it that I’m the celebrity, and you’re the one people are calling for in the streets?” He whispers to you as you turn around.
Your eyes go wide, and you break into a grin when you see your good friend Andy approaching you. “It is you! You didn’t tell me you were going to be in town!” He wraps you in a bear hug and lifts you off the ground.
“It was a last minute thing,” you respond as he places your feet back on the ground.
“Are you here for a concert or a show?”
“I… uh,” you know if you say concert, he’s going to ask you who, and you’re not sure how to even begin to tackle that. “Uh… a boy actually.” You shrug with a blush.
Harry takes that as his cue. “Hello, I’m Harry.”
The men shake hands and Andy looks at you curiously, you know what he’s asking and nod your head. You fall into a bit of small talk, and Harry excuses himself to use the bathroom, allowing you and Andy to catch up for a bit.
“Y/N, are you dating Harry Styles?” Andy asks once Harry is out of earshot.
“I honestly have no fucking idea,” you answer, shrugging your shoulders.
“It sure seems like you are, he’s kind of all over you.”
You blush, loving the idea that other people see Harry being affectionate with you. If other people see it, maybe it is something more. You redirect the conversation, afraid to dig too deep into your feelings for Harry, and speculations on his feelings for you.
Before long Harry returns, stepping up behind you and wrapping his arms around your shoulders. “I’m sorry to interrupt, Princess,” Andy shoots you a knowing look at Harry’s nickname, you shrug him off. “But I think we should be going.” He nods to a few people standing around who have started to pull out their phones, undoubtedly to take pictures and videos of him.
He knew he was being filmed, but he was still openly affectionate with you. That’s not nothing.
You said your goodbyes to Andy and went on your way, stopping for a quick slice of pizza before moving on to the Garden. They didn’t have a full sound check like they had the previous day, but there were a couple of songs they wanted to run through before the show.
Much like the previous day, Harry made sure you weren’t too far from his side the entire time; watching rehearsals from the stage, hanging out with the band and crew at craft services, and even a little makeout session in Harry’s dressing room, until you kicked him out so that you could start getting in your costume.
He begged to stay at least while you did your hair and makeup, but you insisted it would give everything away. When he pouted and complained, you reminded him that it was his idea to surprise each other with your costumes. You laughed when he stomped out of the room like a child having a temper tantrum.
You were pretty nervous about this costume, it was a bit of a departure from your princess costume the night before. It was either going to be a huge hit or a fantastic bomb. You gave yourself one final look in the mirror, hitting your hair with a little more texturizer before texting Harry that you were ready. Before he could get to you, you went into the bathroom and shut the door, allowing yourself the opportunity for a proper reveal.
“Let’s have a look,” Harry said as he entered the room. His face dropped when you were nowhere to be found. He saw that the bathroom door was closed and ran over tapping on it softly. “Princess? C’mon out. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
You take a deep breath, turning the knob and stepping out into the dressing room. Running your hands through your hair and flopping it to your right side. You stand frozen in place, waiting for Harry’s reaction.
He studied you carefully, starting with your messy hair and running down to the white t-shirt with rolled sleeves, and tight black skinny jeans down to your brown Chelsea boots. “Are you…”
“I’m you,” you said tentatively. “Well, I mean like old you. Young you? One Direction you.” The words spill out of your mouth so quickly you don’t even know what you’re saying.
Harry remained silent as he stepped up to you to get a closer look. He walked around you, wanting to see the costume from all angles. He stopped when he got to your left arm, lifting it and examining it closely. “You even have the tattoos.” He marveled.
“I uh… yeah. I cut up a pair of tights to draw them on.” You answer nervously. “Is it… are you…”
“This may be the greatest costume I’ve ever seen.” He says. You look over and see his wide, dimpled grin. “You look… I mean wow.” He ran his fingers through his hair.
“Really?”
“Absolutely. There is one problem though.” Your brows round in question. “It’s a little alarming how much this is turning me on.” You burst out laughing, swatting at his chest, he grabs your wrist and pulls you close, cupping your cheek with his free hand. “I’m not joking.” He says just before pulling you into a heated kiss.
Harry practically dragged you down the hall, eager to show everyone your costume. You felt a huge relief knowing Harry liked your costume, it was just icing on the cake that everyone else went wild for it as well. They were all taking pictures of you while Harry tried to instruct you on how to pose and what face to make to be the most authentic.
Once the excitement of your reveal died down, everyone went their separate ways to get ready for the show. You sat on the couch in Harry’s dressing room, scrolling through your phone as he changed in the bathroom.
The sound of the door opening pulled your attention, you looked up and smiled as he moved towards you in a sea of ruffles.
“Well?” He held his arms out and did a quick spin to show off the costume.
You chuckled as you jumped up and ran over to him, playing with the ruffles around his neck. “Very bouncy. This is going to look amazing on stage. Especially with the way you move around.”
“Ah, so you’ve noticed my moves?” He says slyly.
“Well you drag me to these shows to watch you perform, I kind of can’t help it.” You say sarcastically, making him laugh and pull you close, smothering you with kisses.
“I’m going to make you a fan whether you like it or not,” he joked.
You’re interrupted by a knock at the door, notifying Harry that he needs to start making his way to the stage. He gives you one last lingering kiss before taking your hand and leading you out of the room.
Walking a few steps behind him, you finally catch a glimpse of the back of his costume. “This part kind of looks like a diaper though,” you chuckle.
He turns around, eyeing you curiously, you tap your hand against his rear and he arches a brow at you. “Does it? Or were you just looking for an excuse to touch my bum?”
“I have moves too,” you shrug.
Harry smirks, shaking his head at you. “I’ve noticed.”
You're led to the same area you were in the night before, waiting for the show to begin. A lot of people seemed to notice you, you had people calling out to you telling you how much they loved your costume, a few even snapped some pictures. It was sweet, but you hate having attention on you, so you were a bit uncomfortable.
Jeff noticed and stepped a little closer to you. “I know it’s weird, but you’ll get used to it.”
You smiled and nodded politely, but you knew there was nothing to get used to. After tonight, you’d go home and the past week will all just be some crazy memory. Harry would just be a memory.
The show was electric, the crowd was rowdier than you had seen at the other shows, and you could tell Harry was absolutely feeding off their energy. He would glance your way often, offering a wink or a smile which you would happily return. When his eyes traveled in your direction during What Makes You Beautiful, he could barely contain his laughter, looking at you, dressed like him during that period of his life.
When the opening notes of Sign of the Times started, you were hit with the realization that your time with Harry was coming to an end. You had done a good job of keeping your feelings at bay, but the truth of the matter is that you had fallen in love over the last seven days, and when you woke up in the morning it was all going to be over.
You hadn’t even noticed that you started crying until you saw Harry’s face drop when he looked at you. He immediately pulled the microphone from the stand and moved to your side of the stage. You brought your hand up and wiped away the tears, he held up a tentative thumbs up, asking if you were alright. You nodded in response, but he didn’t move. You took a deep breath, wiping away some more tears before returning the thumbs up. He smiled softly at you before moving on. He would continue to shoot you worried glances for the remainder of the show.
When you got back to Harry’s dressing room the door was already shut, you assumed it was because Harry was in there. You knocked gently, Harry immediately called for you to come in.
He was pulling his hoodie on as you entered. When his head popped out, your eyes immediately locked and he gave you a sad smile, “Was I really that bad?” He said, trying to keep the mood light.
You shook your head with a humorless chuckle. “No, I think that was the best of the three.” You say, referencing the three shows you had been to.
“All the shows you’ve been to have been the best ones,” you eye him curiously. “You being there makes me better, I want to impress you.”
“Mission accomplished.” You say quietly, you were barely able to hear yourself over the sound of your heart breaking.
“Excellent, I’ll announce my retirement immediately.” He joked. When you didn’t laugh, his face fell and he stepped up to you, placing his hands on your hips. “Hey,” you keep your eyes trained on the floor, afraid you’ll fall apart if you look at him. He lifts your gaze, kissing away the stray tear that had broken loose. “Talk to me, princess. What’s wrong?”
You shrug, taking a shuddered breath to try to compose yourself. “I’m sorry.”
“Shh,” he coos softly. “You don’t ever have to apologize to me for expressing your feelings. I just want to know what’s wrong so I can help.”
“I… I just…” Your breath hitching with each word.
Harry guides you to the couch, sitting you down before sitting beside you and wrapping you in his arms. “Take your time, I’m right here.” He holds you, rubbing soothing circles on your back.
“It’s so stupid, I’m not this girl, I don’t do this.” You mumble between sobs. “I just, it hit me that I’ve gotta go home tomorrow, and you’re going to fly off and keep touring, and I’m just really going to miss you.”
“Oh honey,” he squeezed you tighter. “I’m going to miss you too.”
“Really?”
Harry pulls back, taking your face in his hands. His heart sinks when he sees your red rimmed eyes and tear stained cheeks. “So. Much.” He punctuates each word with a kiss on your lips. “But just because we aren’t going to be in the same place doesn’t mean you’re getting rid of me. I’m still going to blow up your phone every day, and FaceTime you after every show. Though I’m heading to the west coast, so the calls will be a little later.”
He gives you a wink, making you laugh. “There’s that beautiful laugh.” He rubs his thumbs over your cheeks to wipe your tears and pulls you close to kiss your forehead. “We still have a little time. We can spend it crying and already missing each other, or I can take you back to your hotel and we can watch a silly movie, or just talk, whatever your sweet little heart wants.”
You nod, surging forward and crashing your lips against his, pouring all your feelings into the kiss. He returns it with just as much fervor. You pull away breathlessly, sighing at the sight of Harry’s wide grin. You can tell he’s about to say something stupid.
“Except for that you little minx,” he chuckles. “There’s not nearly enough time for us to do that properly.”
You laugh, ignoring the butterflies that stirred at the thought of taking things further with Harry. He was right, this wasn’t the time for that. Besides, leaving him was already going to be hard enough.
You changed out of your costume and went with Harry back to your hotel. You put on the television, but it was mostly just there for background noise, you two stayed up until sunrise talking. Whenever Harry would see your mood start to shift, he would hit you with one of his corny jokes, doing whatever he could to make you smile.
When it was finally time for your goodbyes, they were tearful and much more emotional than you had planned. You had hoped that you had gotten it all out of your system after the show, but as soon as he stood from the bed, your emotional dam burst once again.
It was a long goodbye, Harry doing everything he could to make sure you were alright. There were plenty of hugs, whispered ‘I’ll miss you’s and promises of seeing each other soon. Then, with one final kiss, Harry was gone. You watched him as he walked down the hallway, before he turned the corner, he looked back once more blowing you a kiss which you pretended to catch and place on your cheek. He shook his head and pointed at his lips before blowing another kiss, this time when you caught it, you placed it on your lips. He gave you that signature smile once more, paired with a thumbs up, and just like that, he was gone. It was a perfectly Harry way to say goodbye, and it left you perfectly heartbroken.

Fandom: Genshin Impact Pairing: Arlecchino x fem!Reader Rating: Explicit/18+ Warnings: smut, oral sex, sexual tension, switching, teasing, dominance. Word Count: 2,870 Summary: Two formidable figures meet in a clandestine rendezvous, their identities veiled behind playful banter and seductive glances. Their encounter takes a thrilling turn as they unveil their extraordinary abilities, indulging in a symphony of sensations that transcends the physical realm. They explore the depths of pleasure and power, each revelation igniting a fierce desire for more.
“So.” She got up from the chair she was sitting on before turning her gaze towards you. “To whom do I owe the pleasure?”
“Who is asking?” You say.
She giggles, "No, no, not how this works, my dear rabbit. You must introduce yourself first.”
You blush a little from her giggles. “I’m Y/N, Leader of the Akademiya .”
“I am Arlecchino, the Knave of House of the Hearth. You just said the leader of the Akademiya? Hm... I never knew the Akademiya would be led by such a young person...” Both of you head towards the chairs to take a seat.
"Oh, thank you. I know I look young, but to tell you sincerely, I’m not necessarily that young.“
“Hmm... You don't look older than thirty. How old are you really?”
“Well... we can say that I have my methods of keeping me in the same state and not aging.”
She raised an eyebrow in response to this. “Are you saying... how old are you actually?”
You smile at Arlecchino. “I will let you guess.“
“Hm... That is not a bad idea.” She crossed her arms again, thinking to herself before saying. “Well... you know, you don't strike me as the... ancient type. There is a kind of ageless feeling about you... I'm thinking more in the range of 300–400 years, plus or minus.”
“You surely have luck when it comes to guessing.“
She giggled once more before saying. “Oh really? So I was right with my guess?” She tilted her head a little bit to the side, her lips curling up as she raised a single eyebrow in surprise.
“Indeed, I'm the leader of Akademiya, alongside the archon, obviously.” You roll your eyes at the mention of the archon. “But I am the active leader.” You smile at her.
“Ohoho... so that's why you have so much authority...” She giggled quietly and leaned back on the chair, her hands on her hips now, as she said. “I wonder... do you have any other 'abilities' other than not aging?”
“I would not let all my secrets out, Knave.” You smile.
She giggled at that, a playful smile stretching across her face. “Oh? You're so secretive.” She raised an eyebrow at you then. “Or do you just intend to keep them to yourself for a future surprise?”
“Depends... I don’t know people’s real intentions, so I better keep them just for myself until the need to use them arrives.”
She leaned forward, tapping her chin, as she thought about what you were saying. “Hmm... Fair. Fair. But surely... you're not completely against showing others the full extent of your capabilities, right?”
“Are you that curious, Knave? Or did you just get interested in me?” You smirk at her, leaning forward, wanting to get closer to her.
She leans more forward, her gaze fixed on you. “What if I am?” She spoke with a teasing tone in her voice. “Is it bad if I am curious about your capabilities?”
“Not at all. But how do I know that you don’t intend on using them against me?”
She tilted her head to the side. “And if I do?” The smile on her face remained even as she said this.
You smirk, leaning back and looking at her with intense, half closed eyes and a little threatening look. “You are playing with fire Fatui.” You pronounce the last part hard.
She smirked right back at you, her gaze equally as intense, if not more. “Oh, but fire is my favorite element.” Her smirk broadened, and her voice became a hint more erotic. ”You know, I think I am having a little trouble understanding something. You are clearly powerful. Yet... you are still afraid of showing the full extent of your power...”
You start laughing. ”Who says I was afraid?”
She chuckled a bit along with you. “The fact that you're so hesitant to show anything of your capabilities?” Her head tilted to the side again, a playful smile on her face as she said. “If you weren't afraid of showing me, you would have done so by now.”
You giggle “And if you weren’t so eager to jump to conclusions, you would have understood that I’m cautious.”
She laughed at that, still playing along with your teasing. “Oh? Am I so eager?” She smirked at that, and her voice took a flirty tone. “Or perhaps... I'm just too intrigued to know what other wonderful abilities you may have.”
“And maybe now I’m so interested too. So maybe we could show each other our abilities.” You are responding to her flirting.
She smirked in response to your proposition. “Perhaps we could...” She leaned forward again, her gaze and smirk intensifying as she replied. “After all... I wouldn't want you to be the only one showing your secrets.”
“Good then” You smirk from your leaned back position, analyzing her more now that you can see her expression closer.
She chuckled softly at you. “Ah... I see you're interested.” She leaned more forward, her gaze turning even sultrier than before.
“What do you suggest?”
She giggled as you asked this. “Hm... Well, how about...” She smirked. “You show me just one of your special abilities...and I show you one of mine." Her voice was still a flirty one as she said this, her eyes sparkling as they locked onto yours.
You grin “I don’t think that’s fair, I’ve already told you about one of my abilities, now it's your turn.”
She smiled back at you. “Oh, fair enough. But if I'm going to show you one of my abilities...” Her voice became more sultry as she spoke. “...then you better prepare yourself for something spectacular.”
"Oh, you would like it, I’m sure.“ You say confident.
She smirked, rolling her eyes at your own confidence. “Of course I would.” She spoke in a flirtatious tone once more.
She smiled mysteriously as she spoke. “You want to know what my abilities are?” Her hands now rested on her hips again as she leaned back in her chair. “How about I... surprise you?”
“Then please surprise me.”
She smirked at you. “Alright.” Her arm stretched out, and a shadow suddenly formed in front of you, shaped into her hand. The shadow then grabbed your hand.
She then started concentrating her energy on her ability. After a few seconds, her eyes started to glow with the same glowing shadow. The world seemed to shake ever so slightly as she did so.
An intense feeling of ecstasy and pleasure shot through your body, overwhelming you as your mind became a mess of conflicting sensations. Her grip started to get painful at this point, but the sensations continued, and you heard her voice echo in your head.
You looked to see that Arlecchino's grip on your hand had not faded despite the overwhelming sensations. You felt her grip tighten even more as you thought about this, making the sensations even more intense.
You then heard her voice in your head. “Relax your body... let the sensations flow...”
You start to relax, and the sensations do indeed start flowing through, becoming more and more intense as they do so. The pleasure was almost too much at this point, the ecstasy taking over. You still felt her grip on you, but the sensation of pain from it started to dissolve as the sensation continued. Despite her hold being as strong as ever, you could have sworn it felt like one of the most tender things you've ever felt on your skin.
You let out a little moan after getting carried away, you realize it and snap out of her trance.
Arlecchino was caught off-guard by your moan, her grip relaxed after this happened. You suddenly felt your body start to tingle from her ability, but the sensations slowly began going away, leaving only a strong pleasure behind. She looked you in the eye as she smiled, clearly having taken notice of this.
You clear your voice. “I suppose it's my time to show you one of my abilities?”
She smirked at you as she said. “Yes... I suppose it is.” She released her grip on you and looked back at you expectingly, waiting for you to show her your abilities.
You’ve had other plans, actually, but seeing how dirty she is playing, you need to get yourself on the same level.
You decide to use one of your abilities, which are some living vines, and start unleashing them. They penetrate the floor around Arlecchino’s chair and start going up for her. After some seconds, her hands and legs are covered in vines, and some of them start getting under her clothes. The vines start transmitting a tingling sensation all over her body that transforms into something more pleasurable, feeling like something is caressing and kissing her whole skin.
She looked shocked as she witnessed the vines covering her whole body. The sensations were indeed pleasant as her body shivered and her breath caught in her throat. The sensations continued as her breathing quickened, making her shivers ever so slightly more pronounced. She looked at you, her lips curling into a slight smirk as she spoke through her shivers.
“...well played...” She suddenly looked at you expectantly, her tone returning to being flirtatious. “But... are you done already?”
“You want me to be done with this?”
She giggled a little, her voice still flirtatious. ” ...do you have something even more special hidden away?”
As she speaks, some of your vines go into her private areas and start doing their things. "Actually, yes, but I think now is your turn again.” You smirk, enjoying her little shakes of pleasure.
Her body shivered intensely as the vines started touching her more intimate areas. Her hands clenched into fists as she bit her lip, feeling the tingling sensations all over her skin. She started to breathe more heavily as the sensation spread to her most sensitive areas, making her shivers more noticeable.
“Oh...” She breathed out slowly. “...I have to admit you are quite the surprise...”
Her shakes and shivers worsened as the sensations from your vines continued, intensifying. The sensations were becoming almost too much for her, but her expression remained the same, enjoying all this attention she was suddenly getting. She clenched her hands more as she breathed in slowly and out rapidly, her lips curling into a smile...
You get up and go in front of her, looking down at her, having your legs touch hers, and you decide to get a knee on the chair right in between her thighs. “So tell me, Arlecchino, what do you have in mind now?”
She looked up at you as you did this, a flirty grin on her face as she replied. “Nothing yet...” She raised an eyebrow as she said this. “But I am considering a couple of possibilities...” She smiled seductively, raising her fingers to brush up against your leg.
"Oh, and what are those?” You enjoy her little touch.
She moved her hands up a bit higher along your thigh as she smirked. “Well... I just might go ahead and... “ She paused for a second. “...do this”
She leaned forward and placed her lips on your thigh, beginning to trace them along it. Her tongue then came out and began softly licking your thigh.
You retrieve your vines and grab her head as you enjoy her kisses that send shivers down your body.
She smirked as she continued. The soft licks of her tongue sent waves of excitement through your body, making you shiver ever so slightly from the pleasurable sensation.
Her tongue started getting a bit bolder with its licks, though, slowly increasing in intensity as she pressed her lips on your thigh and continued to trace them along it.
Her lips then began to travel up your thigh, moving closer to the sensitive area between your legs and lifting your skirt ever so slightly. Her warm breath was washing over your skin, sending chills down your spine as her tongue continued to tease your surrounding areas. With a sly smile, she whispered, "You like this, don't you? I can make you feel even better by showing you my ability... if you let me."
As her lips neared the sensitive area between your legs, her eyes fixed on yours, waiting for your consent. Her breath hitched ever so slightly, signaling her anticipation, and she awaited your response. The anticipation and the feeling of being completely in her control left you at a loss for words, but your nod and blush gave her the green light to continue.
Her tongue then gets into the warm, wet crevice between your legs, gently probing and stroking with the utmost precision. You gasped, the overwhelming sensations coursing through your body. She licked and nibbled, savoring each tremble and moan that escaped your lips, taking control of your pleasure with fierce determination.
Arlecchino's skilled tongue continued its exploration, teasing your most sensitive spots as she pulled back a bit, her mouth wet with your essence, looking up at you, wanting to savor your lustful expression. She trailed her tongue upwards again, eliciting more gasps and moans from you, each one sending a shudder through her own body as her dominant nature reveled in the control she held over you.
Her grip on your hips tightened, urging you to match the rhythm of her sensual assault. As she continued, her pace picked up, the intensity of her ministrations left you on the edge of ecstasy. You could feel the climax building, and her wicked smile seemed to promise that she wouldn't let you fall until she was ready.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Arlecchino slowed her tempo, prolonging the exquisite torture as your body writhed beneath her control. The room was filled with the sounds of your ragged breaths and her soft hums of satisfaction, an intoxicating symphony for both of you.
The moment seemed to stretch on forever as if suspended in time, and the anticipation of release grew more and more unbearable. Arlecchino finally leaned in and kissed your thigh, her eyes locked with yours. But with her pulling away, you let out a groan of frustration. "Do you want to come now, little one?" she whispered, her voice filled with lust. You could only nod, she resumed her skilled demonstrations with renewed intensity, driving you both over the edge in perfect synchrony.
The orgasmic waves crashed over you both, sending your world into a haze of ecstasy, and for a moment, it was all you could do to keep yourself from collapsing in a heap. The ravishing woman pulled back, her satisfaction evident on her face as she wiped her lips, the remnants of your arousal still clinging to her.
She gently stroked your hair, her voice soft as she whispered, "So good, wasn't it? I'm sure we can find even more ways to please each other, my little one." The warmth of her smile was intoxicating, and you could feel your heart beating faster in anticipation of all the wicked pleasures you would share with your new mistress.
Now is your time to satisfy her. As you kneeled in front of Arlecchino, your eyes locked with hers. She offered a sultry smile and nodded for you to continue. Carefully, you began to undress her, slowly pulling her bottoms down, revealing her supple, luscious flesh.
Her breathing quickened as you reached for her most intimate area, your fingers gently tracing the contours of her femininity. You leaned in, closing the distance and pressing your lips to her arousal, savoring the sweet taste of her as you began to explore her with your tongue.
Arlecchino's hands found their way into your hair, gently guiding your movements and urging you to take control of her pleasure. She moaned, the sound sending shivers down your spine as her body began to tremble beneath your ministrations.
You delved deeper, your tongue tracing intricate patterns and diving into the warm, wet haven that quivered beneath your touch. The sweet, musky taste filled your senses, and you found yourself intoxicated by the mixture of power and passion.
Her hips bucked, and she grasped your head, guiding you and urging you to do your best. As you felt her body begin to tense, you knew she was close, so you upped the ante, flicking your tongue and grazing her most sensitive areas with the tips of your fingers.
Arlecchino's moans grew louder, and her breathing became ragged. Her hands clenched into fists. And just as you sensed she was about to fall, you adjusted your rhythm, driving her over the precipice with the force of a tidal wave.
Her body convulsed beneath your ministrations, and she cried out your name in a torrent of pleasure. As her tremors subsided, Arlecchino leaned back into her chair, her chest heaving and her face flushed with rapture.
Her eyes met yours, and she reached out, tenderly stroking your cheek. "You've pleased me, little one." She whispered, her voice heavy with both satisfaction and longing. "I have a feeling our wicked liaisons will only grow more and more intense with each passing moment."

2. DISHONESTY
Tumblr media
Three Days Ago
Author's P.O.V:
"I am so damn excited to see myself in that gown you know? The day is just 72 hours away and... And boom! My last name won't be Lee anymore! Like, do you even understand what I'm saying huh?...... Yeah yeah, come on now, I know Duri, being with your grandma is more important than my wedding now stop sulking. She's sick and you gotta care for her right? It's not like we can't catch up once I get hitched with him. I just wan-"
Walking into the dressing room you saw two people. You were stupefied by the sight. Your throat went dry the moment you saw the most unexpected scene in front of you.
Your fiancé cheating on you with your sister, Ha-Eun.
"....Y/N...? Are you on the line?....You still there?.... Y/N!?" Duri, on the other line was repeatedly calling for you but your ears went deaf seeing them desperately making out with each other. It was like the earth beneath your feet has slipped. Just to let them know that they have been caught, you make an apparent thud with your feet after making another obvious screech sound while you angrily pushed away the curtains of the dressing room.
"Why are you here?"
Without even sparing a glance, you turn around to leave the room. Of course it was hella disturbing - His face was buried into Ha-Eun's neck and her hands holding onto his hairs. Her chest was half bare and already had fresh hickeys and on the other hand, his belt and pants were undone.
Nothing could make you feel more worthless right now. Not your sister again making you feel inferior to her. She always had the best and now your marrier too.
You heard her leaving the room but didn't even care to have a look as you knew if she comes in front of you, your palms would already be kissing her cheeks.
"I told you I could pick up your gown myself and you don't have to come along" He came closer to you, fixing his plain black Ralph Lauren shirt. His eyes were yet fixed on his shirt, now focused on rolling his sleeves up, as if he was trying to hide his gaze from you. And why was his temperament so fucking calm as if he hasn't fucked up big time?
Oh! How badly your heart felt a pang on seeing him looking through his lashes, checking if you were 'mad' at what he did.
Surely, you were digging holes in his soul by staring at him with your teary eyes the whole time.
"That was accidental, Y/N."
The audacity to call the entire episode a mere 'accident'! Your blood was boiling as unlike earlier, he maintained a deep eye contact this time which showed no glint of remorse and the very moment you bitterly blurt out-
"Accidental I see... Did your pants accidentally slip off or you kissed her accidentally? Huh!!"
"Watch your tone you-" Your jaw was cupped painfully harshly while his left hand roughly pulled you towards him by your waist. He clenched his jaw in anger whereas his eyes were as devilish as a demon. How silly it felt to not have a control over your own body. You were beyond shocked to see this side of him. A man, all sweet, charming, cute and lovely 16 months ago, became as scary as a thunderstorm in a snap!
Being this close, you observed how the sides of his neck and jaw had light marks of lipstick and his body smelled exactly like that of Ha-Eun's.
You felt powerless, so damn feeble and fragile in his arms. No way you would reveal how weak and heartbroken you were because why? Why should you unveil it to him? You were strong and fierce and he shall know that. But your eyes were betraying you. A tear was already rolling down your cheeks and for a matter of second, his eyes held a glimpse of...guilt?
The said man leaned closer and placed his lips forcefully on the corner of yours.
How the fuck did you let him kiss you? You pressed your lips into a thin line to restrict him from going further. Pure disgust was crippling up through your whole body.
You loathe his touch now.
"BACK OFF KIM TAEHYUNG! DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH ME WITH THOSE BLOODY FILTHY HANDS!"
Gathering up your full strength, you hardly pushed him with the utmost force and wiped your lips with the back of your palm.
Taehyung let go of your figure walking back to a distance, and crossed his arms over his chest. You wanted to slap off that dirty, mocking chuckle that he just left. Fixing his hairs boldly, he took a few steps towards you.
Tumblr media
"May I remind you, in two days, I'm gonna be your husband. Behave, Lee Y/N."
"I. AM. NOT. MARRYING. A. CHEATER."
You said looking into his eyes, pausing after each word to symbolise that you were adamant in your decision and your tone did sound firm but you were taken aback when Taehyung started chuckling insanely at what you just said.
His laughs immediately stopped and you furrowed your eyebrows. You were confused, a bit scared, furious, pissed off and emotionally drained and his actions were surprising you every second.
This is not the Taehyung you knew.
"Seriously, Y/N?"
Your name never sounded so nauseating from his mouth ever before.
He seemed really intimidating with that voice which went deeper than it was normally before.
Bending down to match your height, he again leaned closer but you backed off as an impulsive behaviour. He continued after licking his lips, "Our parents have invested millions of bucks in this wedding and you really think they're just gonna let you to blow it all?"
For a while, you gave a thought on what he said but again, your parents are not the one who is gonna spend the rest of their lives with him. You are the one who is going to.
Taehyung proceeded to grab a bridal veil from one of the mannequins placed around you. Clipping it onto the crown of your head neatly, he nonchalantly spoke, "You do not decide anything in your life, darling."
"I will get married for sure, but not with you."
All your sadness swept away. You sounded confident enough for the urge to get back, seeking retaliation was the only thought clouding your brain and mind right now. You were blinded by hate and also, your only motive was to either escape this marriage or prevent it from happening.
"Pft! Such a silly little girl. How will you find a groom in three days?"
"I don't have to explain you how, who, what, when, where. You are no one to me. No fucking one!"
For a matter of fact, your tone went a couple of octaves low and again Taehyung's face had that freaking mucky smirk which was irking each nerve in your body. You challenging him and the determination in you was giving him the desire to burst out in laughter.
"I am your fiancé and we are meant to get married really very soon honey. You know that well. Isn't it?"
Putting both his hands inside the pockets of his pants, he stood straight, taking a good look at your whole figure from head to toe and smiled cunningly.
A game of intense stare was going on between you both and Taehyung was the one to break it first. He turned his back at you to leave the room for the best and walked towards the exit.
His figure was seemingly decreasing in size as he neared the exit but his words were ringing loudly in your ears.
Tumblr media
"See you at the altar, Ms. Le-... No!.. Soon-to-be Mrs. Kim."

could I request a story where Loki and the reader are both magic time variants captured by the TVA, and they become closer and plot to escape together, but even though the reader wants to help him they're afraid of getting too close or opening up about their past because in the past they had been really hurt by the alternate Loki in their timeline? I'm sorry that's very long, you don't have to write it if you don't want to I just love your work so much and Reality Check is so perfect :')
Tumblr media
I'm sorry this took forever! Honestly, I should've just made this a whole miniseries to really flesh it out, but with MOM I wasn't sure if I wanted to dedicate all my time for that. Hope this is alright! <3
You watched the man before you smirk once he recognized who you were. "Y/N L/N, I never expected you to wind up here," He commented, scanning you. You scoffed, turning your head away to look at Mobius.
"You expect me to work with him?" You asked, pointing lazily. Mobius nodded.
"You two are the best of the best. He never seems to die and you have the ability to control him. Not many can say they can do that," He responded.
"I don't want to work with him," You replied, sharply.
"And why is that? I want a better explanation than he hurt your feelings a while ago," Mobius said. You rolled your eyes, knowing Loki must have grinned at his statement.
"No hard feelings, promise! I'm not the same Loki you knew after all," Loki said.
"No, but the sacred timeline forces it to be exactly the same. I know you haven't done it yet, but you will. Eventually. If you ever decide to stop being a little shit and go back to your timeline." You walked closer to Loki, trying to seem intimidating.
"Ouch," Loki winced, stepping forward, "I see Midgard taught you some vulgar language."
"Seemed only appropriate for a man who killed 80 people in a matter of two days," You suddenly realized how close you were to him, eyes widening as you backed off. Loki rose an eyebrow at this.
Mobius chuckled. "This is going to be interesting."
~
"I need you two to go to a small town in Oklahoma from a few hundred years ago to inspect something," Mobius said, pulling up a file on the desk in front of you. You sat next to Loki (Though it was not willingly) and waited impatiently to hear more about the mission.
"Oklahoma?" Loki questioned.
"It's on Midgard. It's a lot of farmland. Prone to tornadoes." You briefly stated.
"Seems like you know the place quite well."
"I lived there for a while. Until the TVA decided that I messed up something in their precious timeline. I mean, really. Do you guys think another war would happen when most people don't even know this place exists?!"
Mobius chuckled. "See, that's why I like you. You're realistic. But, unfortunately, rules are rules, and the timekeepers aren't ones for breaking tradition."
You shook your head in response, leaning back in the chair. Loki leaned forward towards the desk to get a better look at the file. It had several reports scattered across it, all describing the deaths of several minutemen from the T.V.A. "What happened?" He asked.
"Someone supposedly time traveled to the 1800s and broke the timeline. When our minutemen arrived at the scene, they set fire to the surrounding grasses and burned them all to crisps. We suspect the variant is another timeline's you, Loki." Mobius explained, showing several photos of the scene.
Your eyes widened. "Another timeline of him is running rampant and you imbeciles can't catch them?" You asked.
Mobius shook his head. "Loki is hard to catch. This one," He pointed to the man before him, "Not so much. The other one? Different story."
"And you expect us to just find Loki and bring them back?" You asked, leaning your head against your hand.
"It's either that or being reset by the woman who wants your heads on a silver platter."
Both you and Loki looked at each other for a brief moment, nodding slightly. Looking back at Mobius, you spoke at the same time.
"We'll do it."
~
You arrived in Oklahoma with Loki, taking a look at the burned farmland around you. Several bodies laid around the area, their weapons scattered. "God, these men didn't stand a chance," You said, crouching down to take a closer look.
"And neither do we if we can't find a trace of myself," Loki replied. He used his magic to trace where the fire started. "Over there," He pointed.
You looked over, seeing nothing special. "Looks just like everywhere else," You said.
"No, it's an illusion. I must have cast an illusion to make sure only those with magic would be able to find it. Or, well, another me did it. Why would he have done that though?" Loki asked, contemplating it for a moment. You walked up to him, showing him the collar and remote you had stolen from the agency only moments before arriving in Oklahoma.
"If anything goes wrong when we see them, I've got backup."
Loki grinned. "You're always so dependable. That's why I love you." You knew it was a weak attempt to make you soft. You shook your head, walking away from him.
"Not the same Y/N you know."
"The Sacred Timeline makes you the same."
"The same to an extent, but for me you're in the past. A lot changes in the upcoming years." You mentioned.
"Oh come now, old feelings can't die that easily, can they?"
"No, but you sure can."
~
You made your way to the Loki pointed to. The spot seemed to be as burnt up as the rest until Loki unveiled the illusion. It didn't take much of his magic to lift it, probably because the universe recognized it as the same signature. When it was revealed, the area hadn't been burned by the fire at all. The grasses were tall, reaching up to your shoulders at times. One spot was completely flattened though, with a singular note on the ground.
You picked it up, unfolding the paper carefully. Loki stood directly behind you, looking over your shoulder. "What does it say?" He asked.
"Meet me where we once called home," You read it out loud. The note crumpled as you tightened your hold on it.
"What does that mean? Once called home?"
"It means this Loki is in fact my Loki."
"Please tell me I don't have any hard feelings that you clearly harbor for me."
"That depends on whether or not you forgive me for the incident."
Loki quirked an eyebrow at this. You shook your head. "Not here. Let's find a place to stay. I know where home is. We're not far from it."
"Then shouldn't we go there first?" He asked, placing a hand on your shoulder to ensure you didn't walk away. You shook your head.
"No, I can't go there yet. There's a lot to explain before you see Loki."
~
You found an inn close by and decided to rest there. Because it was the 1800s you had to be careful about what you did. In a different century they wouldn't have minded you being in a TVA shirt and jeans. Now, they would.
Luckily for you, Loki was able to cast an illusion so that only you two knew what you were wearing. He even had to cast an illusion on himself to blend in more. He used fake currency to buy the room, which was about as small and cramped as you expected.
With only candles to light the room, it would've been considered quaint and cozy by most. A single bed with comforters, a drawer and chest, and a small desk. It was all you needed for your journey after all.
You sat down at the desk as Loki sat on the bed, feeling the comforter. "Softer than I expected," He commented.
"You lived through the 19th century, you should know it wasn't as bad as history books make it out to be."
He nodded in response, relaxing slightly. "Well? You said you would explain it to me. I should know what's going on before we go face off against myself."
You sighed, fiddling with a pen you had found in your shirt pocket. "Time travel isn't as uncommon as people may think. You and I both know that."
"Of course. You've time traveled a few times yourself."
"Exactly. Well, in my timeline, after the events in New York in 2012, you went to prison in Asgard and were eventually freed during the Dark Elves attack."
"I know what happens there," He said, sharply. You knew he must've known what happened to his mother.
You looked down at your hand, placing the pen down on the desk. "Well, you know what happens in the Sacred Timeline. Remember, you're a variant in this timeline too. In this timeline, you ended up going back to the 1800s, to this time."
"Why would I do that?" He tilted his head.
"To see me."
"What were you doing in this time?"
"I was running. I got into some nasty trouble with not only the Avengers but the federal government as well. It was just easier to go back to a time where I wouldn't have to worry about it. Plus, I didn't know what I was doing, so I wanted to hang out in a place where I knew I would never run into myself. I didn't account for you finding out." You sighed, fiddling with your fingers.
"And what happens after that? We were just fine before I... Well," He hesitated, "Tried to take over Asgard and then Midgard," He said, sheepishly.
A soft smile graced your lips as you thought about what had happened next. "We shared a life together. We were married, secretly of course, but we were happy. We moved into an old farmhouse around here and decided we would start a family here. It was in the middle of nowhere. No one was going to find us after all. We could be happy here."
"What changed?" He asked, leaning in. He couldn't understand where it would've gone wrong.
"The T.V.A," A scowl corrupted your smile as you looked up at him for the first time in minutes. "We were variants. What happened between us should never have happened."
Loki shook his head. "I can't believe that's what divided us. What did they do?"
"You gave me a chance to escape. You kept them off me and I ran off. See, I ran off and you went into the T.V.A to be charged for your crimes. They were going to prune you. Unless you told them where I was," You scoffed.
"Did I?"
"You did. Because no matter what you would always do everything in your power to save your own skin. Even if it meant ratting me out when I was protecting the child we had just taken in." Your tone quickly turned to ice at the thought.
Loki stayed quiet at the revelation. He didn't know what to say. "What happened next?" He asked quietly.
You shrugged. "I went in, you got out. You were reset. I don't know how you became a variant again. I guess they couldn't wipe your memory if you were able to remember our home."
"I don't understand. I don't understand how I could do that," He said as he stood up from the bed, pacing the room.
"The version of you in this timeline is different. He changed after escaping. I just hadn't realized it until it was too late."
Loki stopped in his tracks suddenly, staring you dead in the eyes. "Is that why you're with the T.V.A? To get revenge?"
You nodded. "The T.V.A, while I despise them, are my one way of getting to him. I want to make sure the agency brings him in once and for all. I'll prune him myself if I have to. And then I'm out of there. I have a plan to escape."
"And what will you do after that?"
You looked out at the window, "Find my little girl, I suppose. Make sure she's okay."
"Then perhaps you would like a partner to join you," He grinned.
"No."
~
Making your way to the farmhouse, Loki decided to stay back a little. The plan was for you to make sure Loki was in a vulnerable state, giving you just enough time to alert the T.V.A. Then, your partner Loki could capture the criminal Loki using the collar and remote you brought. It wasn't much of a plan, but it was enough for you to feel comfortable facing off against him.
Loki stayed outside, watching from a patch of wildflowers that sat outside the house. They were your favorites.
The house was cold and creaking from weight and pressure it hadn't felt in years. It looked abandoned. No one must have moved in after you did. The sight sent shivers down your spine. All seemed quiet except for a single door opening across from you. There stood the man that ruined your life - Your version of him.
"Hello, darling," He greeted you, a small sheepish smile plastered on his face.
"Loki."
"I know these are probably not the circumstances you would've wanted for this-"
"Not the circumstances?" You interrupted harshly. "I never wanted this situation to ever happen. You're lucky I haven't tried to shoot you in the face with a magnum."
Loki raised his hands up in mock surrender. "What I had done was uncalled for."
"Uncalled for?! You exposed me which put our family in harm's way! I have no idea where Rose is! None!"
His expression softened at the mention of Rose. You knew it struck a chord in his heart. It had to. Rose was adopted just like he was. All he wanted was to be a better father to her than his own was. If he were a better person you may have cared about hitting a sensitive spot like this.
"That's unfair. I had no idea she would possibly be reset by them," He said.
"Oh come on! What else did you think would have happened?! They were after us and so they were after her too." You moved your finger slightly to the communicator in your jacket pocket, signaling for the T.V.A to arrive and for Loki to step in.
"I never meant for her to get hurt," He said, his voice shaking slightly.
"No, but you meant for me to get hurt."
"I never wanted either of you to get hurt. It's just that-"
"Just what?" You grit your teeth.
"I was scared. You know how I am. I'm a coward!"
"That's no excuse for what you've done," You glanced up, seeing your partner sneak up behind the man. He wrapped the collar around him and quickly backed away, holding the remote up.
"What are you doing?!" Variant Loki exclaimed.
"Getting justice. Revenge. Everything I've wanted for years from you," You glared at him. The other Loki smirked, proud of you for what you had done.
The minutemen from the T.V.A quickly stepped in, arresting Variant Loki as soon as possible. Mobius followed them, looking the man up and down. "So you're the one who's caused all this trouble. And all because of a girl you crumbled. Gotta admit, it's not a good look for you," He said. You nearly laughed. "Take him away."
The minutemen began to drag Variant Loki through the portals, though he didn't go through without one last word to you, "Y/N! I will get out of this!"
You scoffed. "Sure you will."
~
Mobius decided to allow you and Loki to stay behind, giving you a moment to examine the home around you. He trusted you two enough to have a few minutes of peace alone. "So what's the plan, love?" Loki asked.
"Mobius has given us this much. If we gain his trust for a little while longer then we'll be able to have far more time and perhaps even a way to travel through the multiverse on our own. I hate to say it, but I'll stick with the T.V.A a little while longer. The endgame is long-term here."
Loki nodded thoughtfully. "It's smart. But I'm smarter," He held his hand up, revealing one of the portal remotes in his hand. Your eyes widened.
"How did you get that?!"
"I stole it from one of the men as they went through. I'm sure they won't miss this, but if they find out we have this when we go back it won't be pretty," He said, walking up to you, grinning.
You stifled a laugh as you looked down at the remote in his hands. You shook your head looking back up at him. "You're insane."
"Perhaps I am," His grin widened, "But I know you want this as much as I do. So, what do you say?"
He held his empty hand out to you, waiting for your response. Instead of giving it a moment's hesitation, you held out your own, taking his.
And with that, you never looked back.

The World Gets Colder, Bit By Bit (PBB Route 14 fic) [GN!Reader]
Tumblr media
Oh, winter comes Oh, winter crush all of the things that I once loved
Winter come Winter crush all of the things that I once had
~~~
Contains spoilers for PBB, for those who somehow probably haven't seen this scene yet??
The cold always found a way into your bones.
Wind blew through the exit out of the cold cavern, where you stood, facing the three members of Team Eclipse. One was wearing a mask that covered most of their face.. except for their eyes. They seemed to be the most important out of the three.
Tess stood beside you, as always, hand on her belt in case something did happen that you weren't ready for.
But you had reassured her that there was enough medicine in your bag, and so she backed down, with a small nod of acknowledgement.
Facing the person you knew now as the admin, you stared them in the eyes.
Golden-yellow...
Blinking, not from the light emitted from the exit of the cavern, you take a long hard look at the person as they and Tess talk to each other.
You heard your name being called, but it wasn't by Tess.
''..and Tess, if you come with us, we can all be safe!'' The 'stranger' told the purple-haired girl, who furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. ''Professor Cypress is very close to discovering the secret to awakening Hoopa. When he does, this world will be left desolate.''
The stranger took a deep breath, before continuing:
''Can't you see that I'm only trying to protect you?"
Tess' eyebrows shot up as she realized something. ''Wait a second, how do you know my name?"
You were about to ask the same, but immediately retracted the thought of asking, there was no need for that now.
The stranger's lower part of the mask shifted a bit, as they seemed to grimace.
''..Tess, (Y/n), ..''
''..please forgive me.''
Their fingers went to the back of their hood, gripping it. Before pulling it off completely, revealing the dark blue hair in a quiff hairstyle.
Jake's golden-yellow eyes stared back at you and Tess, filled with every liquid drop of regret, as you narrowed your eyes you could see he was on the verge of tears. But he did not dare let them spill.
''No!'' Tess' horrified cry pierced the silence following the traitor's unveiling. ''No! It can't be!'' She paused for a moment in disbelief, staring at the boy's face. ''..Jake?"
Filled with shame, the boy spoke. "Yes, it's me.'' He briefly looked to the icy floor, then back up to you two.
Finally finding your voice, you clench your fists, glaring daggers at both the accompanying grunts, then to your 'friend'.
''How could you do this, Jake?!" Your voice struck the air, and the world seemed to grow colder, just a bit. You saw Jake visibly flinch, his arms remaining by his sides.
''You don't understand.'' He glanced at Tess, then to you. ''They are going to leave this world in ruins. My best option was join to them, come looking for you guys, then bring you back with me.''
''...I can save all of us.'' He added in a weak voice, subconsciously fidgeting with his own hands. ''Will you please just stop all this fighting and come back with me?"
''Do you hear what you're saying, Jake?" Tess questioned, worry evident in her voice. ''You're fine with what Cypress wants to do to the world as we know it?"
You chime in: ''He's going to destroy Roria, and with it, all of its inhabitants!''
''How can you be okay with that?" Tess asked again.
''I'm doing all I can in my power to help you right now, Tess and (Y/n). What else could I have done in my situation?''
''We were supposed to fight Team Eclipse together, remember?'' The purple-haired girl reminded him. ''The good team*- were going to stop them together. We were going to do whatever it took to stop this horrible tragedy from occurring.''
''Instead, you seem to have given up, and gone over to their side?" You asked him.
Jake shook his head solemnly. ''I'm sorry, I tried that and was beaten. I was not strong enough, and now I'm trying to do what I can to save you both.'' He locked his gaze with yours. ''This is my last offer, will you please give in and come with me?"
Tess' expression hardened into a frown. ''I'm sorry, Jake, we are on a mission and we are not about to give up.''
He sighed. ''Then I'm left with no other choice... (Y/n), we must battle.''
Your heart skipped a beat as you heard him say your name. Meanwhile, your emotions swirled like a hurricane within you, blurring some of your thoughts; you weren't able to think clearly.
Still, you glared back at him.
''If I win, I will be taking you back with me by force.'' His grip was now on his belt, as he went to grab his first Pokéball to throw out. ''It's for your own good.''
You grabbed a Pokéball from your belt as well, before throwing it.
The battle began, with you taking a strong start, easily healing up your Pokémon when they needed it, though you soon came to find you were starting to run out...
Jake's Pokémon started to get the upper hand, landing more critical hits than you needed them to. Desperately, you try to gain back ground, but his second-last team member landed yet another crit, fainting your second-last Pokémon.
Tess looked on anxiously, as the Team Eclipse grunts watched as well, one of the two even cheering the traitor on. You start healing up with each turn you have, though it only proved to be a waste as each time you did so, another hit landed and sent it back to square one.
You looked through your bag, double-checking and triple-checking to make sure it wasn't true. But it was.
Having wasted the potions, and healing items, you freeze for a moment. Shutting your eyes, you held back tears, before opening them, you order your Pokémon for what you hoped would be the finishing blow.
The attack connected with the Vaporeon's face, but the Bubble Jet Pokémon held on only just a sliver..
''Vaporeon, HYDRO PUMP!''
The tears started falling down your face as you turned your gaze to your Pokémon, seeing them on the ground, fainted. You were never going to forgive yourself for this. You were also sure your Pokémon would feel the same...
Tess stared at you in disbelief, not knowing what to do. One of her friends had just lost, the one who had defeated her so easily sometime before.
''You are both my best friends- you two and-'' Jake started.
''Don't- don't even say it.'' Tess cut in angrily, blinking back tears.
He looked behind him as the grunts came to your side, grabbing your arms and taking the Pokéballs off your belt roughly, making you grumble.
Jake lowered his head, as he turned to face the exit. ''We will leave now.'' He dejectedly announced.
The grunts nodded at this, beginning to make you walk out into the cold mountainous air, with Jake in front. He was silent.
As your anger seemed to start simmering, competing with the icy atmosphere...
The world got colder, bit by bit..
The good team*
"-come Tuesday and we'll potentially see an end to this heavy downpour of rain. Temperatures will be on the rise to around-"
The talk on the radio cut short at the jab of your finger, heaving a great sigh which faded into the muffled pitter-patter of rain from outside. The streets had been showered with heavy downpours for the last week or so, no sign of sun or a still and restful day. Notwithstanding the miserable outdoors, the windscreen wipers on your car never ceased in their duty to grant you a clear view of the road ahead. And whilst you were grateful for their devotion, it didn't feel clear in the slightest. In fact, the road had never felt so blurry.
Shivering against the cold night chill and tucking your knees cosily to your chest, you eyed the raindrops on the windows. They raced against one another before they dripped down to your car's body, their glossy presence obvious thanks to the many hues of street lamps that surrounded them. You could have watched them for hours, being honest. Something about the droplets of water battling it out quite enticing. Anything to take you away from the cruel reality you were living in.
Your heart ached and yearned. But to no avail, the one you ached and yearned for didn't love you back.
Not anymore, at least.
Just the mere thought provoked a pulsating pang to resonate throughout your entire body. A pang filled with grief and sadness. Anger and hurt. You missed his sun-kissed face on the sunny mornings. You missed his eyes and how they gazed at you from across the room. You missed the smiles and laughter he would only show for you and you alone. The sense of glee and euphoria that came with that honour. Yet all of it was gone and there was no way you could get it back.
The memories of what had been triggered more waterworks. Hot, salty tears dug at the corners of your eyes and trickled down your face. Your motionless car concealed your cries and sobs. Every thrash against the wheel as you questioned to nobody in particular what went wrong and why. How you didn't see the signs sooner. What you could have done better. When he stopped loving you. If he ever planned to stop loving you. Whether it would have hurt more if you found out sooner.
All these questions with nothing to answer them.
Katsuki Bakugou had always fascinated you. From the very moment you met. You accompanied your friend on a double date, and he was the guy who she matched for you. Whilst he originally acted as though a blind date was the last place he wanted to be, underneath the aggression you could tell there was something much more genuine and true.
And your assumptions were correct. Truth be told, Katsuki Bakugou was one of the most genuine and truest people you had met (at the time). Once it was just the two of you, he allowed his true colours to unveil. Through the smallest of kind gestures that still haunted your mind to this day. Then upon confrontation, as you bid each other goodbye at your back door, his denial resulted in a flirtatious contest which then proceeded to an intimate night that changed your life forever. From there your mind was set.
He was the one.
Emphasis on was.
So blinded with a fairy tale love you grew so accustomed to, you never saw it coming. Never in your two-year relationship - that had so much strength and commitment built on top of it, never did you think that Katsuki Bakugou would throw it all out of the window like it was nothing. Disregard your loyalty and adoration for a drunken one night stand that slowly became an occasional hookup. Which soon became a mandatory pastime once a fortnight. Then twice. Maybe more than that. You wouldn't put it past him with what you knew now.
He kept it from you for nearly six months. Six months. The only reason you discovered his lies and deception was because you were let off early one night from work. You worked a night shift, see. Your last job had fallen to shambles, and it was temporary whilst you searched for a new one. And whilst that did take a toll on your relationship with Katsuki Bakugou, mostly finding time for intimacy since his working hours were during the day, none of that gave him any right to go and do what he did.
That wasn't one of the only reasons, you knew that for sure. There were other motives for his lack of loyalty. But you were never told. After you froze at the sight of another woman under his hold and stormed straight back to your car to flee. After he chased you down the flights of stairs in nothing but baggy pants into the streets of a twilight Musutafu. After you screamed into the darkness and belted your fists against his chest. Fists that were driven with rage and hurt and every emotion that burned like the hottest of fires and froze like the coldest of ice. He never even told you. He never made an effort to address it. Nor had he attempted to call or even try to visit your Mom's house - where you stayed as you searched for a permanent place to live. Just because you retreated for your car and cried that it was over, he never tried. But that didn't mean you weren't allowed an explanation. An apology. Something to give you a form of closure and a reason to move on. But you never did.
That wasn't even what hurt the most, either.
As silly as it was, the thing that hurt you the most was the very car you sat in.
Tumblr media
EIGHT MONTHS AGO . . .
The red glow of traffic lights hit Katsuki's vermilion irises as he stared dead ahead at the long line of vehicles, the ash-blond heaving a sigh into the air. His finger tapped impatiently against the steering wheel he gripped with one hand, the spare rested casually against your upper thigh affectionately.
"I can't believe we have to sit through this torture just to go to some damn party," Katsuki grumbled, taking a glance over at you. His brows furrowed when he met you peacefully slouched down, nose dug into your phone as you presumably played some sort of game to pass the time. Like you had no care in the world for your predicament.
"It's your best friend's birthday, love," You mused back, Katsuki surprised you even listened based on your focused expression directed towards your phone. "It's not like we can just miss it,"
"Yeah, but we could have missed all this pain by taking the train instead of driving across town during rush hour,"
"Trains are icky, the seats would have ruined your suit and my dress," You pointed out, looking at the blond over your screen, sending him a sweet smile. He cocked a brow, a smirk creeping its way onto his lips as a scoff of a laugh broke out between them.
"Right, and laying down like a sloth is gonna help keep your dress uncreased?" He returned, amused at your realisation. At his comment, you sat up faintly and pouted your lip.
"Driving means more time to play Gravity Pops, and so does traffic,"
"Seriously? That's the game you're playing? You're such a dumbass,"
"Yes! I'm in the top 11% globally! I need to get to number one!" Was your protest, your arms flailing ahead of you briefly for dramatic emphasis. Katsuki clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes, though the small smile plastered over his lips betrayed his initial reaction. Unable to deny your determination, he spoke with confidence and almost a sense of pride.
"Number one, hm? Clearly rubbing off on you aren't I?"
"In a way, yes,"
"That's my girl," Katsuki remarked, earning a giggle from you that was uplifting to hear. It was there your attention went back to your phone, but Katsuki wasn't done. "So, speaking of cars, Y/N," Hearing his chosen tone - which sounded suggestive, you eyed him closely. Hesitant to reply as you had a sense of what he planned to say.
"...Yes?"
"Have you thought any more about getting your driver's license yet?"
Called it.
"...No,"
"What?" Katsuki began, tilting his head. He was surprised that he felt surprised. You had said those words in regards to this topic countless times. Still, he persisted. "Is that a no meaning you haven't or no meaning that you don't want to?"
"Both?" You half-guessed, sheepishly grinning at the look you were sent. "Look, cars scare me okay? And so do roads. And people. My nerves wouldn't be able to handle it! I can barely communicate with people face to face, so me being on the road is a recipe for disaster!"
"I know but -," Katsuki exhaled sharply, understanding your reasoning. You had voiced these concerns when confiding to Katsuki about your fears of the road. Something built and corrupted from social media as well as phobias and fears in general, it was a battle you had yet to overcome. You wanted to drive but was terrified of messing up or causing chaos on the road. Potentially inflicting harm to someone and yourself. You still weren't sure what triggered it all, but over the years it had manifested into something quite irrational, to say the least. Katsuki had been supportive of it and whilst he truly would love to always act as your personal taxi - you couldn't hide from it forever. It wasn't his job to keep you in your comfort zone. That, and he couldn't always be there for you that way. What if he was miles away and you had somewhere urgent to go like the hospital? "It's not as scary as you think. I know it's hard to believe that but seriously. The freedom you get from driving is amazing,"
"I'll think about it a little longer, okay?" You said with hesitancy, looking at Katsuki for a sign of confirmation. He nodded in defeat, knowing you probably needed more time and felt put on the spot. So he averted his eyes back to the road to check if the traffic had moved at all. It had not.
"Okay," Katsuki said. "But I can't be your taxi service forever,"
"But I like you being my taxi service," You jokingly said, a little sadness in your tone. "Your road rage is funny and I like watching you get out of the car and walk to my door after pulling up in my driveway,"
"What do you mean?" Katsuki asked, catching the twitch of a smile on your face upon saying those words. It struck his interest in what you could mean.
"You know, like when you say you're coming to pick me up?" You explained. "You pull up at my driveway and I don't know... simple things like that just remind me of how much I love you. It's dumb really, but it's important to me,"
"Really?" Katsuki questioned in disbelief. How something so small and meaningless could mean so much was puzzling. He couldn't understand why it was so special to you. But that didn't invalidate it in any shape or form. So he pushed that aside, replacing his wonder with gratitude. He returned to your bashful and flustered features, feeling a smile grow on his face.
"Yeah," You said, shrugging to downplay your words. "I love you. Stuff like that means a lot to me,"
"I love you too, even though you're a dumbass," Katsuki said, humbled by what you had said. The two of you shared a gentle exchange, your hand grabbing hold of Katsuki's as you gave it a squeeze. He squeezed back, and silence ensued. Had he realised such a thing sooner, then Katsuki would have pulled up in your driveway much more than he had been doing. But at that a thought struck his mind, victoriously smirking as he had an idea on how to potentially sway your worries. Or begin swaying it. Something was better than nothing, after all. "But what if I wanted you to pull up in my driveway one day?" His words caused you to look over at him in curiosity, hearing the seriousness in the question. It caught you off guard momentarily, having to contemplate as you gradually concluded that he had a point.
"Well one day, maybe I will," You vaguely replied and sat up a little bit. The hand holding yours pulled back and lifted to land on your shoulder, gripping reassuringly tight.
"I hope you do, I'd like to get in on this driveway action," He joked and smirked, faith riddled in his expression. You giggled ever so slightly, tempted to lean forward and peck Katsuki on the lips in thanks, but never a thing was to happen as the alerting red light from outside switched to warm amber.
"Ah!" Katsuki yelled in triumph, his attention leaving you swiftly as he got back into the driver's seat. Giving you no opportunity to respond to him and overall ruining the moment. "Took fucking long enough!"
The light turned green, and he set the car in motion, leaving you with your thoughts and the words he had uttered that day as the traffic stood still.
Tumblr media
All your efforts, all your time devoted to getting over your fear of driving and the road as a whole... all of it was pointless. You did it for him. You promised him you would overcome your fears and better yourself. He built that motivation up brick by brick until you could grab hold and seize control. He wasted all that time to get you to reach such a stepping stone only to abandon it once it was through.
Just so you could pull up in his driveway, just like he requested. And what did you get in return when you finally did? A stab in the back and the loss of your other half.
You wiped your eyes via the sleeve of your hoodie, dampening the cuffs. Sniffling and exhaling a shaky breath, your gaze landed on nothing in particular. Yet somewhere within your clouded mind, you found interest. As that was where your gaze remained for a certain amount of time. You weren't sure how long exactly. It could have felt like an hour and only been five minutes. Or it could have felt like five minutes and was actually an entire hour. Either way, the clock ticked on and didn't wait for you to stop.
It was a good thing you had pushed your fears down and rose above them. It just pained you that you didn't even do it for yourself. Without Katsuki Bakugou, you never had any intentions of doing so. As a matter of fact, you had set out to take the train or bus for the rest of your life. Hell, you were going to use a bike and scooter if you got desperate. Had he even acknowledged how much work you put in just to get where you were? Was all that effort part of the reason why he decided to cheat? There was absolutely no telling. Absolutely no telling at all.
You wondered what he was doing now. Was he laid in bed resting peacefully? Out with his friends for a boy's night only? Maybe cooking his favourite curry? Possibly on a late-night jog despite the harsh weather? It never stopped him other times.
Did he ever think about you? Regret what he did and the actions he took? Had he ever considered apologising? Would he ever apologise? What if he was celebrating the fact you were no longer in his life? Had there ever been any love there for you in the start? Did he ever actually want you to get your driver's license because he believed in you? Or was it so he could get rid of you with much more ease? Make his departure less severe and less selfish? A way to justify his choices because it's not like you were hopelessly left to suffer everyday life now that you had a means of transport. Was he really that cruel?
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sharp jingle of your phone, the device lighting up as it sat in the passenger seat to your left. It took two or three rings for you to glance over at it, E/C eyes sore and drained from crying out. You squinted them to read the caller, seeing the name 'Work' fade in and out on the brightly lit screen. For a second or two you argued back and forth on whether to even bother picking up. Something about reaching across for your phone requiring a magnitude of energy you no longer possessed. Having spent it all on your cries of agony and the deprivation of your old life as a whole.
However, you had ignored your work in the last couple of weeks too many times now. So many times that pulling the same stunt again would probably risk you losing your job. It's not like your work was interested in why you felt such overwhelming pain... all they cared about was you turning up to do what you were hired to.
So using a forceful hand, you leaned over to pick it up. You fumbled to grip your phone and accepted the call with a dainty tap of your thumb. Then you blinked away your tears and subtly sniffed, pressing your phone to your ear to address the caller.
"Hello?" You practically croaked, quick to clear your throat and push any signs of upset down. It was presumably dry from how much you'd cried in the last two hours.
"L/N! Hey! Glad you finally picked up!" Unlike the droll and unvarying tones of your boss, the person on the other end was much more lively and greeting. So much so you could only assume it was none other than your work colleague, Etsuko. Probably the only person you genuinely liked where you worked, and the only person who made the time pass by faster. "I was worried you were gonna leave me on answer phone again,"
"Hm, what? Oh right. Yeah. Sorry about that. Haven't been feeling too great," You lied, even though it wasn't a complete fib. You hadn't been feeling great at all. You had never felt so rock bottom. It all just originated from your mind over anything else. But when did work care about that?
"Sounds like it, I hope you've been okay!" Still cheery as ever, Etsuko followed up with a laugh to fill the silence you created by not saying anything. "Is everything well? It's nothing serious, is it?"
"No. It's not. Just some dumb cold I caught," You excused. "I'm better now, though," Slouching down in your seat, you decided to ask the question that had been roaming your mind the last minute or so. "So why are you calling?"
"Oh, right!" Etsuko said. "Mr Kobashigawa was just wondering when you planned on coming back - for schedule reasons and to get people to fill in for your shifts,"
"I er...," Not entirely sure how to answer, you stuttered as your words cowered away in your attempt to speak. "I don't -,"
"It's okay, he doesn't need an answer yet," Etsuko reassured. "Maybe in the next day or two, though? He wasn't really specific, being honest,"
You sighed at the guilt brewing in your stomach. You weren't even sick for crying out loud! Why were you lying just so you could wallow in your own sadness?! Like that was going to change anything! Sitting around and crying wasn't going to give you what you wanted. You weren't getting him back. Katsuki Bakugou wasn't yours anymore. He made that clear by cheating. By making minimal effort to give you an explanation. By causing you so much pain with little care or concern. Why couldn't you get it through your thick skull that your feelings didn't matter anymore?! That they were being wasted on a lost cause. A lost relationship!
"Well I mean -," You started, running a hand through your hair as you tread carefully on your words. "I could come in tonight? Has Mr Kobashigawa got someone to fill for me yet?"
"Um... no? I don't think so?" Etsuko answered, uncertainty in her voice. "Let me go check. Be right back!" And with that, the line fell dead. The call didn't end, just Etsuko placing the phone down to get an answer for you. Leaving you all by your lonesome once more.
Reflecting, you could see the logic in your thoughts. The best course of action would be to hold your head up high and live life the way it was before. When you were happy. Just... excluding the factors that actually made you happy. Which was him. Wouldn't that be healthier than crying all the time?
Yes, it would. But was it what you wanted? Not really.
"L/N!" The voice in your ear startled you to the point you nearly dropped your phone, panicking through a gasp as you fiddled to grab hold of it again.
"Wa-! Careful you nearly scared me half to death!"
"Oops, sorry!" Etsuko giggled softy, sounding as perky as ever. "I'm just excited to tell you that nobody's filling in your shift! You can still come in for ten-thirty!"
"I-I can?" You asked. After an upbeat 'yeah!' filtered through your ears, you considered your options. Remaining in the serene, quiet confines of your car with only the downfall of rain to accompany you sounded like utter bliss, given how you felt. But you felt an internal kick up the backside which told you - no... demanded you to just get over this moping attitude of yours and look on the bright side. To get over the lack of closure and simply... move on.
Yeah... if he found out you were an utter train wreck thanks to the damage he inflicted; Katsuki Bakugou would probably revel in it. He had a history of gaining pleasure from other's misfortunes... or it was rumoured he did (during his younger years, anyway). You had never wanted to believe it but you couldn't find a reason to refute it anymore. After all you had been through, it seemed to fit his character and personality more than ever. So with that fact apparent, you held a firm forefront and searched for a determined tone, and made your answer to your friend.
"You betcha I'm coming in! I'll see you in half an hour!"
Too enthusiastic? Probably. Still, it was better than acting pessimistic and hopeless. No matter, however, because that was exactly the attitude Etsuko had been hoping for.
"Alrighty!" She exclaimed, smile audible in her voice from the other end. "I can't wait to get our dynamic duo going again! I've missed you!"
"Yeah, me too, 'Suko," You hummed in agreement.
"Great! Catch ya later my partner in crime,"
"Heh. You too, dumbass," You found a reason to smile from her childish behaviour, though your choice of wording seemed to hit a nerve. It did more than that, it practically reverted all that confidence and progress you had made in the last ten minutes of being on the phone. All from one innocent word that escaped your lips.
Dumbass.
That's what he used to call you.
The phone call had ended without you even noticing, your phone still pressed to your ear as a small buzz sounded into it. You stared dead ahead, flashes of all the times he had said that word to you running through your memory. It was his form of a pet name. Some might see it as a little degrading on the surface, but you never minded. Once you learned the deeper meaning of the name, it became something equivalent to the likes of 'Sunshine' or 'Angel'. If anything, you ended up preferring it to those sorts of nicknames. Hence why Katsuki Bakugou had called you it on so many occasions.
No. Stop it. You can't let something like that bother you. Not after the efforts you just went to. Stop. Shaking yourself out of it, you returned to reality and permitted your phone to drop onto your lap. Your hand once holding it gripped onto your steering wheel, the other following shortly behind to do the same.
"I love you too, even if you're a dumbass,"
That rung in your head one final time, tormenting and mocking your present. The things you'd be willing to do to hear him say that to you one last time...
"No," You firmly shook your head, banging it lightly against the headrest to return yourself to reality. An attempt to knock those words to the back of your mind where you could lock them in a securely tight safe for the rest of eternity. "Just... just don't think about it. Easy. Just focus on what you're doing now," You reached for your keys which sat in the ignition, taking hold and turning them ever so slightly. Your car stirred to life, engine rumbling and the dials lighting up in a form of warm greeting. "You're going to work. No more feeling sorry for yourself,"
No more feeling sorry for yourself.
Your eyes set themselves on the road ahead. The vacant, dark and solitary road that didn't wait for you to make your decision. Life moved on after all, so if you were going to do anything - it was to catch up and take the winning lead.
So despite your circumstances; your inner desires and wishes and begs for what you wanted back but to no avail would ever get, you pulled out of your parking space (which had long exceeded the time limit, thankfully nobody was around to see) that drowned in pitiful rains of the night, and began to make your way down the street. In search of a place better than the one you were trapped in.
An endless road that wasn't all that clear, you were going to tackle it. Not for anyone else, unlike the last time you met difficulty and hardships. No, no, no. This time it was for your sake. All the mental energy to recover and become a better version of yourself, in the endgame it was all for you. You could push past all the deceit and lies you had been told and you could push past your normality which was him. Katsuki Bakugou. The man that hurt you as nobody had ever done before. You could create new normality without him.
A thought of forever he created and destroyed, resorted to driving alone past his street, never to be thought of again.
Today I celebrate Hyunjin's life, a bit sad that I cannot celebrate it as I wish but I hope he spends it with his loved ones.
Happy birthday Hwang Hyunjin ❤
Thank you for teaching me to work hard for what I want, to laugh and enjoy life and for teaching me that there's beauty in every single thing.
And me being a Seungjin sucker, I want to share with you my fav fics today. Ugh there so many good Seungjin fics out there btw but here are my faves in no particular order.
1. This one holds a special place in my heart because it's the first Seungjin fic that I read and it is so good, it was a roller coaster, the writer is very mature in their writing so please read it.
when we cross at intersections
“Hyunjin?” Seungmin’s voice is soft.
He takes off his sunglasses; now Hyunjin can see his eyes. Hyunjin has always liked Seungmin’s eyes, how sincere his gaze is.
Hyunjin is frozen. “Do you want a different server?”
And here, Seungmin’s mouth flattens into a frown. “No,” he snaps, harsh. “I’m a normal paying customer. Treat me the way you’d treat anyone else.”
[Hyunjin is a part-time waiter; Seungmin is an idol. Seven years later, they meet again on a Wednesday at the Nine & Dine.]
2. A super hero/villain fic, A M A Z I N G, this fic for sure is a chef kiss
Beautiful Chaos
Hyunjin laughs. Seungmin imagines that the sound has been the last thing many have ever heard. His hand moves, and the fingertips trace Seungmin’s lips. “Can you guess what I want right now?”
3. We all need a barista AU and this is it, so sweet and funny.
Worth it
Hyunjin hates winter mornings, but the cute Starbucks barista makes it totally worth it. Even when he keeps on getting his name wrong after two months of religiously going there three times a week.
4. I enjoyed this fic so much, a bit unexpected yet so so good, I want to hug Hyunjin here
two sides (of the same coin)
Seungmin plans weddings; Hyunjin plans funerals. One December day, Seungmin hits Hyunjin with his car, setting off a chain of events that neither Seungmin nor Hyunjin could have ever seen coming.
5. One of my favorites Greek mythology pieces, portrait by one of my favorite people.
Pomegranate Seeds
Silence hangs between them. Hyunjin’s naturally calculating and intimidating eyes are boring into Seungmin’s, which held the practiced poise and grace that he was associated with. The God of Spring raises his head by a modicum, exuding a sense of determination that he was not known for possessing.
“No.” almost mockingly, he giggles as he speaks.
Hyunjin raises a brow. “Excuse me?”
“No.” Seungmin repeats, tauntingly this time.
“That was not a request, sweet Seungmin.”
“And I was not asking for your permission to stay.” Seungmin answers. With the practical isolation by his mother, Seungmin was particularly spoiled. He was granted whatever his heart desired; and right now he wanted to stay in the Underworld.
“And I will have you know,” Seungmin narrowed his eyes as the flowers in his hair wilted with every syllable he spoke, framing Seungmin’s figure with ashen petals and leaves falling over his face. “that I can command death as easily as you can.”
6. Seungjin sexy time, honestly, I laughed with this so so sweet.
To Switch or Not To Switch
Seungmin let his eyes wander about the boy’s godly proportions, sliding over Hyunjin’s milky shoulders and hard nipples before staring at the light trail of hair that stretched from his belly button to his crotch. There, beneath the curly tufts of dark hair was Hyunjin’s cock, half-hard and leaking and looking impossibly beautiful wrapped in a silky, red bow.
7. Pinning, long distance friendship yaaaaaas, read it, so so good, I want more.
Still the same
Hyunjin moved away years and years ago, any feelings seungmin had harbored for him when he was a kid dissipated over that time, or so he thought. when hyunjin came to visit, seungmin was ecstatic, until he saw how attractive his friend had become, and as they got along like he had never left, seungmin's old, pesky feelings began to crawl back.
8. This fic, this ficcccc, minsung, changlix and seugjin in one piece, ugh a m a z i n g
And We Were Roommates
"... The spider is gone." Seungmin says stiffly.
Felix, Hyunjin, and Jisung collectively let out a long, relieved sigh.
"Thank God," Felix says, muscles visibly relaxing.
"No, you don't understand," Seungmin purses his lips, and emphasizes again. "The spider is gone. It disappeared, I couldn't kill it because I don't know where it went."
There's a prolonged ten-second pause where neither of them dares to move or breathe, before Jisung breaks the silence and says in a monotone voice.
"That's it, we are moving out. Throw the whole apartment away, fuck this." Jisung says decisively as he pushes away a terrified Felix off of him, and attempts to make a run to their front door before Seungmin grabs him by the collar of his shirt, almost choking him in the process, but successfully stopping him from running away.
Alternatively: The ups and downs of living with your boyfriend and your two best friends under the same roof. Chaos ensues, fights unveil, kitchens explode, and the four of them get closer than ever. (Spoiler: there's a lot of naked)
9. This is what I call knowing your priorities, ladies and gents Seungmin deserves a round of applause.
I'll make you mine, whatever it takes
Hyunjin was an infamous playboy in school while Seungmin was school's sweetheart. Basically, everyone loved him. When Seungmin made a move on Hyunjin, everyone thought either he was threatened by Hyunjin to do so or it was just simply a dare from his chaotic friends. But the truth was, Seungmin just wanted Hyunjin for himself.
Or alternatively, Seungmin made Hyunjin fell in love with him.
10. Serial killer and obsessive behavior, please read it with caution. A good good fic.
the sky under the sea
It feels fitting and contradictory of Seungmin all at once, a strange impression that he should be brighter than he is warring with the reality of how he is, gentle and breathtaking and unsettling in turn.
