If days had a taste/texture, today would be like... cheap commercial packaged mochi. Soft and satisfying to bite into until you realize it's kinda sticking to your mouth a bit and it's actually kinda gummy and oh God now you're covered in this white powdery shit and it's everywhere but also this filling kinda low key slaps? the thing is i do love plight before christmas and amelia and they do get me emotional but it feels like not for the reasons people love those episodes. like yeah louise’s presentation in amelia is beautiful but im far more enamored with linda’s role in the episode-how she encourages louise when she gets overwhelmed and puts aside her own wants to support her, how she clearly inspires louise. and in plight before christmas YES its sweet that louise shared a genuine poem about loving her family but what really gets me every time is tina. her insistence that someone needs to be there for louise, and then leaving her own performance to be that person who shows up for her? THAT is the the crowning moment in that episode, not louise’s poem. the point to me feels like… its tina, being a wonderful, thoughtful big sister. thats the part of the episode that makes me cry

painted my nails for the first time in a while last night - i'll probably add a second coat tonight - may try and use it as a base for a fancy one that doesn't have a load of pigment on a couple nails just to be, well, fancy lol. don't know if the paint's gonna stick around long after the holidays. i keep forgetting i don't work in food service so i'm allowed to have bracelets and hair ties on my wrists and paint on my nails again, and also i'm not entirely sure whether i even actually like having them be visible lol.
