You know. Thinking about it, the best thing the anime did for Tsumugi was give her professional attire. Like the clothes she wears on the CGs we see her in are cute, but I really think she looks best in the formal business style

One thing I want to see explored in Wynncraft more is Lari and her relationship to the Light as a whole. To me, it always appeared to have a theme of religion and guilt and the heartwretching realisation you will never be enough or be able to do enough to prove you're worth it. She acts so angry when you start replacing her role because she's been through so much to try and fix things. It's meant to be her job to carry. Her pacifism got her friend killed, the one thing (caring nature) that had her protect this part of the Realm in the first place is getting her ignored and replaced. And when she finally cracks a little and tries to actually fight and harm you, only then is she actually given any kind of response. And, if I remember right, she feels AWFUL about it. But she still accepts that she can't do this alone. And it sucks! Because after all that time carrying death and guilt and EVERYTHING by herself, she has to have somebody else take over her role. And what does she even get by the end of it? Her mistakes aren't fixed. Everything still happened. Being replaced makes it all feel like it was for nothing.

ok so here's a bloodborne post. every dream or nightmare in bloodborne needs two things:

1. a host/dreamer

2. a being to create the dream

in the nightmare frontier/nightmare of mensis the dreamer is micolash and the creator is mergo.

we know for sure the nameless moon presence made the hunter's dream, and the obvious conclusion is gehrman is the dreamer. my personal pet theory is the doll is a second dreamer, the real host of the dream, because you find her sleeping in the old abandoned workshop

when you end a dream you have to kill both the host of the dream and the creator, ex, killing micolash then mergo, killing (freeing) gehrman and then the moon presence

so here where i get a little confusing okkkkk. the doll is the reason the game loops. the purpose of the hunter's dream is to keep hunters alive, at least when they start out hunting. hunters can leave the dream, like eileen and djura, but can they really? they reset when you start new game plus. everything resets. you are able to end the nightmare of beasts by ending the mensis ritual, but micolash was already long dead and a skeleton when he 'woke up', meaning gehrman would be as well. the doll, however, would just go back to sleep. she has an immortal doll body, if she wakes up there is no actual consequence. in the childhoods beginning ending you become the new creator of the dream, and the doll is the host, so gehrman is unnecessary. in the ending where you replace gehrman you are replacing his role as the surrogate child of the moon presence/collateral, and the doll is the host. in yharnam sunrise you 'leave' the dream, but you can't actually leave. the only thing left is new game plus. there is no way to permanently kill the doll in the game, and you need to kill both the dreamer and the maker of the dream to end it

i believe the moon presence created something unintendedly bigger than herself with the dream, it's become an endless self powering cycle that resets the entire world instead of just keeping a few hunters alive. the great ones are sympathetic in spirit, but she didn't really understand what laurence (and associates) was asking for because she can never actually die. so now no one can ever die! N that's my post

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for finding and posting the ONI logs that you do! As someone who loves the story of the game but absolutely would not have the energy to find all of the logs that aren’t on the wiki legitimately its nice to be able to see some of them. The one w/ nails in it is especially interesting! Nails was already one of my favorite dupes but that log made me like them even more tbh. At risk of sharing too much, I was super mentally ill when I adopted Chloe. I was in the depths of my PTSD and not yet diagnosed or getting any treatment. So just to be honest my memories from that time are very foogy and confusing.

I adopted her October 2nd and then shortly afterwards moved from the house I was living in back to my parents house. She lived under my bed at my parents house at least for the first few weeks, maybe even longer than that. If i tried to touch her she'd hiss and slap or a few times even pee.

At some point she decided she wanted to sleep on my bed. She still didn't really want me to touch her and would slap me often if I did but she stopped fear peeing. It was a twin bed so not a ton of extra room and if I moved around too much she'd slap me. I remember one time I woke up because she bit me in my sleep and my forehead was bleeding.

And then slowly we just kind of became friends. But yeah, time frame is VERY wobbly and confusing bc I was a train wreck at that time of my life.

Re-listening to malevolent from part 1 and I'm less than 5 minutes in and am already getting so worried for the next updates - also my tired brain is making shoddy (probably very obvious) connections

So urh spoiler warning for Malevolent probably!!

So it starts by flicking through radio stations followed by Arthur making panic noises. Then he's scared, can't remember who/ where he is, what happened and has a voice inside his head. Soo this got me thinking, obviously there's significance in the music. There's no way that it's JUST setting the scene of the office, it may be that in part don't get me wrong but given later context there may be a lot more in it.

Obviously there are musical associations with Kayne so this could be symbolising the beginning of his interest, the point where Kayne discovers Arthur? Or at least this one to see how he works out situations. There are probably things I've missed or forgotten that meant my brain thought of this but I cannot remember right now for the life of me.

What sticks out to me though is that the only times we hear or have mention of radio (to my knowledge) is when Arthur is in the coma (it's mentioned that John listened to the radio during) and at the end of part 43 after the resurrection. So they're pretty big events. The entity appearing, John's time alone in the care of the nurse, Arthur coming back.

I mean this could all mean nothing but if either idea holds any truth to the meaning of radio in this show then I have some ideas (and concerns) for what may happen in 43.

If radio signifies the attention of Kayne then 44 may include a visit from a very irritated and blood stained god. Which yk- that could be fuuun!!

However! I'm more worried about how similar that last snipet of 43 is to the beginning of 1. I'm concerned that maybe this will be cyclical. People are talkin about Arthur losing memories but oh my gods is that a concerningly possible future. Maybe I'm misremembering 43 but book event followed by Arthur not having fun followed by the KIY being his friend in some capacity with radio somewhere in the mix feels far too similar so it would not at all surprise me if memory fuckery was back too.

bonus thought about the beginning of the first episode. the song that played could have been a little reference to their developed relationship. The switching stations being their rocky start and journey before settling on a song that is preferred and turned up high as they accept their love for the other and they both become each other's main focus. The lyrics do just fit so well I mean come ON

Phil has abandoned the boardroom and is wandering around Hotel Football in search of snacks when he comes upon a small kitchenette where Jamie is busy swearing at a kettle.

He hadn't realised Jamie was here too, he and the other lads have been stuck in a meeting with Gary for hours now and there'd been no mention of it, but it's not that surprising when he thinks about it.

"Alright, Carra?" he greets, and Jamie turns to him with a muttered fuck.

"Hi, Phil," he says with an exasperated sigh. "Your twat of a brother asked me to fetch him some tea, and –”

He gestures hopelessly at the counter behind him, which is in such a state it looks as though a small bomb has gone off.

"Oh," says Phil. "Tea is really difficult, to be fair. Can't you find one of the staff members to help you?"

"No, I –” Jamie runs a hand through his hair, frustrated. "He asked me."  

Redders.

Jamie sees it moments before it happens, in excruciating slow motion – like when a gun goes off in films. Gary’s hovering around Carra, trying unsuccessfully to get his attention, and when he gives up and reaches to jostle Carra’s shoulder Jamie waits for the inevitable snap.

Except, Carra doesn’t snap. He doesn’t jerk away, he looks at Gary and he beams. If it was any other person Jamie could’ve sworn he was leaning in to the touch, because Gary’s hand stays in place even while they talk.

When they’re setting up to film, Gary shifts his chair closer to Carra’s so that their knees are touching, and Carra doesn’t roll his eyes or move away. When Carra tells a joke that’s got Gary doubled over with laughter, Gary spreads a hand between Carra’s shoulder blades and nothing happens.

The whole day is full of things like that, tiny casual touches which should be normal, which are normal for anyone other than Carra. Jamie, worried that he’s gone mad and misremembered a fundamental fact about Carra, even tries an experiment once or twice: he claps a hand on Carra’s back, or he throws an arm around his shoulders in a friendly side hug. Carra twitches at the contact every single time, a miniscule reaction honed out of years of needing to be polite, and he carefully shifts away from Jamie’s touch with a suspicious side-eye.

When they’re leaving the studio that evening to go to the pub, Gary slaps Carra’s bum as he walks through the doorway and all Carra does is grin.

Stevie.

“Who the fuck are you texting?”

“Huh?” Jamie blinks, looks up at Stevie over his glasses like he’d forgotten he was there. “Oh, just Gary.”

“Didn’t yous see ‘im earlier today?”

“Yeah, why?”

Stevie is lucky if he gets one text a month from Jamie, even luckier if he sees him in person more than twice a year. It’s never bothered him much, he knows what Jamie’s like, knows that anyone not sat directly in front of him is prone to being dismissed as a distraction. There aren’t really friends in Jamie’s world, just allies and enemies.

So he’s not really sure what to do with this version of Jamie, the one who leaves Gary Neville’s company (and Gary Neville, really?) only to immediately open his phone and start texting Gary Neville.

Every time his phone pings he opens it up and does a stupid little snicker at whatever Gary’s sent him, never mind that he’s meant to be mid-conversation with Stevie. Every bloody anecdote seems to start with ‘so me and Gary were –’, or ‘Gary was saying –’. Even the stories that aren’t about work – as far as Stevie can figure out, there’s rarely a moment that Jamie’s not with Gary, or talking to Gary, or thinking about Gary.

It's weird. It’s almost like how he used to be about football.

Micah can’t believe what he’s seeing. It’s time for Sky’s yearly ‘film Neville and Carragher making fools of themselves racing each other in a thinly-veiled attempt to rack up more views’, and Jamie is losing.

Jamie’s a runner, he runs. Gary does fuck all cardio beyond the occasional group fitness class, he should not be a full pace ahead of Jamie at the halfway point, and yet. Gary can’t seem to believe it either, because when he glances back at Jamie he grins and picks up his pace with a gleeful little laugh.

Jamie rolls his eyes for the sake of the cameras, but there’s a moment where Micah could’ve sworn he saw him skip, like he was deliberately trying to slow himself down. Which is impossible, because Jamie would happily out-sprint a child if someone told him it was a competition.

And yet.

When Gary wins he grabs onto Jamie’s arm to support himself while his whole body shakes with laughter, squawking out insults every time he’s able to catch his breath. Jamie laughs along, makes up some poor excuse about his hamstring going, but when he catches Micah’s eye he winks as if they’re both in on the same joke.

Fred gave Tubbo a letter that literally told him to pause the letter exchange. I thought maybe i misremembered the wording but it's right there. Fred vanished for a month, maybe that's Cucurucho's fault, maybe it's because Fred was unsure about things, idk but regardless Tubbo had no reason to write another letter. He also said that maybe later Tubbo could accept the date, not that he should ask out Fred again.

Also I genuinely don't see how a book initially passed to Tubbo's kid that had a cute compliment about his eyes was supposed to be some sort of confession to get the romance started up again.

This is so funny sob, also yeah saying that Tubbo could accept the date implies that Fred would either make hints later about it or Fred was going to ask him again when she was ready. Fred was the one who thumbled for real, and yeah getting a letter calling you pretty that wasn’t even meant for you would not start things up again.

"Are you nervous?" you asked, stepping into the elevator.

"Nervous?" Jay chuckled. "Not even once in my life."

"Am I misremembering?" you hummed, tapping your chin. "Or didn't you say you were nervous the day you asked if we could be exclusive?"

"Well, I mean," he cringed.

"And what about the time when we had first started dating and you said I made you nervous?" you continued.

"You must have dreamed it," he said, fighting the corners of his mouth from turning upward. "Jay Park is never nervous."

"Says the man talking about himself in third person," you laughed. "You still haven't pressed the elevator button by the way."

"Shit," he muttered, stepping forward and furrowing his eyebrows. "What floor did I say we needed to be on again?"

"11 maybe?" you tried. "Maybe if you weren't so nervous, you'd remember."

Shooting you a glare over his shoulder, he stabbed at the appropriate button, and stepped back to stand beside you.

You couldn't help but chuckle as you tucked yourself into Jay's side. He was easily the most self-assured person to ever suffer from self-esteem issues. While the two traits sounded like they shouldn't intermingle, they somehow did. He liked to play at being cocky and keep his image intact, but you were the one who saw him lose sleep over some of his daily decisions. It had become one of your sole missions in life to make sure that he knew a healthy amount of worry was okay. He didn't have to conquer the world every time he stepped foot out of his door.

"Who all is supposed to be at this thing?" you sighed, adjusting your outfit.

"A lot of industry people," Jay grumbled. "A lot of people I need to impress."

"Is it a need or a want?" you asked, looking at him from your periphery. Judging by the little wrinkle in between his brows, you weren't sure if he was even listening. "Jay?"

Shaking off his trance, he turned to you with wide eyes. "Yeah?"

"You didn't hear me, did you?" you grinned.

As you spoke, the elevator finally stopped at your desired floor and started to slide open. Wrapping his fingers around yours, Jay took a deep breath. You could immediately feel the sweat coating his palms.

"I say this with love," you whispered as you moved forward into the hallway. "Please, please, wipe your hands on your jeans."

"Y/N," he hissed. Taking his hand from yours, he wiped helplessly at his thighs. "My palms don't sweat."

"Then they're crying."

Taking another deep breath through his nose, Jay placed his hand on the small of your back and leaned in. "Have I ever told you that you are the cutest, most fucking impossible person I have ever met?"

Spinning away from him, you grinned. "Have I ever told you that when you're worried about something, you clench your jaw? It's kind of hot but can't be great for your teeth."

"For the love of God," he groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Could you please just support me here?"

"Why?" you asked, fake confusion coating your features. "Are you nervous?"

If looks could kill, you would be dead on the floor. Finally conceding, you reached forward to weave your fingers through his. "Baby, being nervous isn't a bad thing. It just means that something important is happening."

"Fine!" he gasped. "You caught me! Jay Park is actually stressed the fuck out!"

"Third person-"

"Y/N," he deadpanned.

"Okay, okay," you cooed, patting him carefully on the chest. "What has you stressed out?"

Glancing over his shoulder and toward the sounds of the party you were supposed to attend, he looked back at you. "Do we really have to do this right now?"

"No one is going to hear you admitting your weaknesses," you chuckled. "Just tell me what's going on in your head."

"Okay, for one, I don't have weaknesses, so let's establish that right here and fucking now."

"Of course, baby."

He rolled his eyes and began to pout. "I just...don't want to look stupid."

"You know you're the best at what you do," you nodded in what you hoped was encouragement. "Even if you do make yourself look stupid, you always save it somehow."

"But these people, Y/N," he clucked, shaking his head. "They're next level. Investors I need, executives that could have a lot to say about my next moves-"

"And so what?" you asked. "You may not be the tallest in the room, or the most well-spoken, but-"

"Ay! Ay! Ay!" he grunted. "You are shit at pep talks, you know that?"

You couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, which in turn made him give you a reluctant smile. "You have you're short-"

"Watch it."

"Shortcomings," you asserted. "But everyone does. You overcome yours every time."

"Yeah, I do, don't I?"

"You do," you smiled. "I know you're your own biggest fan and I'm likely the second biggest. Let me step into that number one spot and have your back tonight."

"Pfft, unnecessary," he chuckled. "Even if I'm struggling, I still got me."

"Of course!" you huffed. "So silly of me to even suggest otherwise!"

Pulling you into him, Jay wrapped his arms around your waist, and nuzzled his face into your neck. "Look at you with that big, sexy brain. Making all of the sense in the world."

"More like stroking your ego in the precisely correct locations," you laughed, scrubbing your fingers across the back of his scalp.

"You can stroke me in other ways tonight," he whispered, biting playfully at your ear.

Moving to face you, he leaned forward to attempt a kiss. Naturally, you turned away. His lips met your cheek, causing him to groan.

Laughing, you turned toward him again, and pulled him in by the shoulders. Smiling up until the moment your lips met, you allowed yourself to get caught up in the man that drove you crazy. In true Jay fashion, he slid his hand down to give a tight squeeze to your butt, causing you to squeak in alarm.

"I think I'm ready now," he hummed. "You?"

"I've been ready," you said quietly. "I was just waiting for you to be too."

ok so...

if mike is 28 in the year 2000, that'd mean he was born around 1972. i dont think we know garret's exact age when he was taken but mike was about 12 when it happened, meaning garret's death happened around 1984.

if freddy's opening in 1979 is correct then we can safely assume the place was already running when garret was taken.

when vanessa reveals her secret to mike, she shows him a picture of her child self with william in a pristine-looking springbonnie suit in what appears to be a still open and running freddy's, with garret's toy plane now in vanessa's hands. if the missing children incident is what caused freddy's shutdown then that'd mean: garret was the first victim and taken before the other five kids, as the presence of his plane in an old photo in an open freddy's means it wasn't shut down when he was taken.

william said freddy's was popular in the 80's, which might suggest the latest it could have been shutdown at to be 1989-- though it maybe could have been open into the very early 90's, but likely not enough for it to be memorable against its popularity in the 80's. with garret's death being around 1984, that'd make the missing children incident and og animatronics possession (and the shutdown of freddy's) possible within the span of 1985 to1989 (so mid to late 80's,) give or take. or even 1984 to 1989, if garret's death and the five kids' deaths happening in the same year is possible, with garret's coming first.

by the time the movie takes place (2000,) that'd mean the five missing kids have been dead for at least 11 years to 15 years at most.

you'll notice that conrad's fear of renee has turned into contempt and disgust, a subtle nod to the fact that torture victims dont typically build a whole lot of positive associations with their torturers

FYI the reason people assumed Chongo was not close to trans women/did not assume best faith is that he degendered a trans woman, his recollection of her post was notably more malicious than the original content, and because of how much of the notes consisted of people who were actively comparing egg jokes to misgendering. As well as the general way in which egg joke discourse tends to be heavily inflected by transmisogyny to begin with.

im starting to think this woman doesnt respect peoples identity. this isnt a gotcha btw, i think your message is earnestly trying to be insightful and as i said in the beginning: i totally get how chongos original post could be misconstrued, specially if you engage with this discourse a lot. chongo does too. but i seriously believe there was nothing wrong with chongos original post, just as there was nothing wrong with epistemophagys original post. chongos post didnt link to epistemophagy in any way, it wouldve never reached her if people didnt extract the worst possible message from it, and therefore couldve never caused her any harm. you could make the argument that his post could lead to transmisoginy, as it adds to egg joke discourse, but frankly i dont see it. "can we not?" isnt exactly a compelling rhethorical argument and chongo had no reason to believe his post would reach anyone beyond his (very pro-trans) audience. if someones being transmisoginistic in the reblogs of that post its not on chongo and most of the reblogs i saw just said something to the effect of "yeah those jokes make me kinda uncomfortable too". thank you for explaining where people on the other side of things are coming from, i hope you can understand where im coming from. stay cool, anon!
