oh. oh wow. damn. Honestly, genuinely, keeping up with this blog and seeing everyone's reaction to it every day has been one of the few things keeping me going in college, especially with some personal struggles going on lately. I want to do something to thank you guys, if you have any ideas PLEASE let me know because I am NOT an idea guy (hence a blog that requires NO creativity lmao) over the next few days im also going to clean up my intro post and bio and stuff and just make this blog a little nicer (not removing anythin important!! the rock blog will still be basically the same :)

This blog also turns four years old in TWO DAYS so I will be doing something for that as well (if finals week doesn't kill me dead). I started this blog in high school during COVID, when I was depressed, unmediated, and generally struggling with life. Now im a relatively stable college student, on hrt and genuinely on my way to living my best life, and throughout it all, i've had the rock blog to remind me there are people that care if i'm there, even if its just a small thing like queuing a stock photo.

Lastly. I hate to ask this, things are tough out there for us all, but im struggling to make rent this month, and if you have a spare dollar you can send to your local trans disabled faggot rock blog, I promise it will go towards helping me survive and make more rock themed posts for ever and ever and ever. if you do decide to give me anything dm me and ill send you a picture of a rock from my personal collection. hell ill ship rocks to people if you send me enough lmaooo. my kofi is https://ko-fi.com/ sirrivix, again absolutely no pressure at all im just struggling at the moment.

Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault! 

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most. 

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.

even if Luigi himself says he did it, he deserves a fair trial. he deserves to be presumed innocent. because both of these are rights afforded to him by the constitution of his country. and because even if he did in fact do it, he hasn't said that and he has pleaded not guilty, the prosecution has to actually prove he is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt. and from what we know of the evidence there's plenty of reasonable doubt. moreover Luigi has nowhere not for a single second tried to kill himself. if he had indeed done it and he wanted to kill himself, he had to have had plenty of time before he got arrested – five whole days in fact. he has never shown himself to want to be a martyr or a symbol of a resistance movement that the people of his country can't even organize properly/very effectively. if he did want to make himself a symbol or a martyr like the way you want him to be, he could have simply given himself up to the authorities after the deed was done. he could have confessed everything to the cops, then or at the time of his arrest or anytime in between or even in the future. but that hasn't happened and that won't happen. Luigi and his legal team are fighting the charges and will continue fighting the charges until it ends with him being killed by the death penalty (extremely unlikely at NY), or rotting in prison because of LWOP, or getting acquitted due to a number of reasons. moreover he does not want to die and has clearly shown that he in fact wants to live, and it doesn't matter if he did it or not. he should be able to live. his right to life should not be taken away from him. it is the most fundamental of all human rights. death penalties are the most barbaric tools still kept alive in the modern society to enforce organised violence from the people in power. Luigi also deserves the right to live properly, not just survive somehow in LWOP. because like people like you think, he did it but you support him for it. so clearly you should also be wanting him to be free and to be able to live the life that he wants to live?? but of course not. y'all are dumb that way. also making Luigi a martyr or a symbol of a revolution that will probably never happen (at least not in a country like USA where there has never been a successful revolution in history because the majority population does not know how to organise at all) is absolutely useless. Yes, yjh did regress but he was made that way. Iykyk he is a letter from hsy to dokja so in every way he IS going to circle back to him at the end. yjh is hsy's desperation, her yearning to save Dokja.

We all have read the same texts and we know yjh is not that incapable that after 999th turn it'll take him 864 more regression turn to reach the wall again. NO! It happened that way because it is written that way and being a "character" he could not break free of that .

The sheer hatred SOME joongdokers have towards doksoo (and by extension, yoohankim) is so outstanding to me that I joined this fandom shipping kdj/yjh quite a lot and even enjoyed writing for the ship… but the people of Tumblr have convinced me to hate them forever and never write for that ship again. 😇 

This attempt to “validate” joongdok has the entirely opposite effect and they just don’t get it. I want to boycott joongdok after reading those posts. In fact, I do. Hope they’re happy.

The ORV fandom can be so exhausting.

This whole thing about “hsy only wrote a novel” are coming from people who don’t understand ORV whatsoever.

Yoo Joonghyuk IS a living love letter. 

Han Sooyoung spun the threads he is made up of and wrote every word with her blood. She loved him enough to make a whole person, and in putting herself into her own work, her creations loved him too.

Everything that Han Sooyoung has made loves Kim Dokja. Because the universe was built on her love.

If Han Sooyoung didn’t love Kim Dokja to the extent that she did, Yoo Joonghyuk wouldn’t even exist. 

Arguably, yjh was “only” curious about how there seemed to be more to the story when he was in the 0th round and regressed to discover it. It wasn’t only for KDJ. In fact, it was barely for kdj. YJH accidentally saved kdj in the process of living his life.

Meanwhile, HSY intentionally and deliberately did everything for kdj’s sake right from the start.

If this is a contest about who loves who more, then consider this:

Yjh loves with conditions attached. “I must be by your side.” He is the character that’s meant to reach the reader, you are correct that’s what he is thematically…

If yjh would give up everything to reach kdj, then hsy would give up even that.

Anyways. The argument falls apart since these guys can’t exist without each other and they cannot love without one another. The novel is yoohankim and anyone who tries to remove a part of that equation in “canonverse” is not an astute reader. I do dislike how I get worked up over people who have little to no literacy… 😔 shame on me. 

I understand that other people have different interpretations but this is like reading the bible and coming to the conclusion that we should kill people. Sometimes the writing/interpretation itself isn’t bad, but the people who act on it are. 

Notice how some joongdokers have a problem with doksoo, but doksoo truthers don’t have a problem with the jd ship itself… our problem is with the bad people shipping it instead. Sorry to hear you ran into bad people on your Tumblr scrolling 😔

Zora princess engagement

The Legend of Zelda has a history of Zora princesses falling in love with/being engaged to the Hero of Hyrule/Link

So therefore, in Echoes of Wisdom, I would like for:

A- Zelda to run across a Zora princess engaged to Link and tell her hands off, he's kidnapped

B- Zelda to be engaged to a Zora princess and tell her no, Link is kidnapped

C- With both the river and ocean Zora being in Eow, BOTH Link and Zelda were engaged to Zora royalty, who are pissed that they now have to marry each other instead since Link is kidnapped

This is half joking but tbh I really would love for the Zora engagement trope to show up again

I mean the entirety of Eow is set up for Zelink. He chases her. She chases him. It's the idea that they're not whole without the other- if Link is taken so is Zelda. (see what I did there. Taken. Like kidnapped but also taken like in love with someone already. So they're both taken- ok moving on)

So yeah the zelink is so strong in this game from the four minute trailer(s), I really wanna see a Zora engagement because of the potential for *drama*
