Exercise Fic Recs 21
Sorry I’m a bit late posting this, I just got back from watching ATSV.  It’s just as good and everyone has been shouting about and I don’t know why it took me so long to getting around to watching the movies.  Anyway, on to the fics!
The Only by pasdecoeur  (Superbat, complete.  Felt like being a little sad, so I read this fic again.  Bittersweet, read the tags.)
how many roads less traveled? by TopHat  (Superwonderbat, complete.  Polyamory negotiations between the trinity.  Very sweet, features ace Bruce.)
be my kryptonite by renecdote  (Superbat, complete.  Clark has a sensory overload, Bruce helps.)
Courage by LemonadeGarden  (Batfam, complete.  Bruce has a run in with fear toxin and Dick helps him deal with it.)
Stuck in the Middle (With You) by TheResurrectionist  (Superbat and Batfam, complete.  A re(re)read for me, I needed some good humor.  Damian gets stuck and Dick calls for help.  Shenanigans ensue.)
Just a Formality by FabulaRasa  (Superbat, complete.  Bruce and Clark get married for work reasons, and Clark has So Many Feeling About This.)
misty by TheResurrectionist  (Superbat, wip.  Different first meeting.  Bruce crash lands on a cold, barren planet and Clark finds him.)
Patchwork Pod by Ktkat9  (Superbat, wip.  Another merbruce fic update!)
Midnight Hour by BisforBread  (Superbat, wip.  Medieval/fantasy au.  Clark is a prince and Bruce is a knight and they have Feelings for each other.)

Jesus Is Not A Zombie by Sadsnail  (uuuuhhhhh, bible fic?  I blame @beachcat0772 , she posted this in our friend server and told me to read it.  It’s just crack fic, but GOOD crack fic 😆)
They had a pastry with lemon curd on it, I couldn’t resist!
Tumblr media
It was so rainy this morning!  It pretty much rained the entire time I was birding.  Got so cool pictures though!
The baby geese, they are growing up!  They are looking more and more like adult geese everyday:
Tumblr media
Wasn’t able to get a good picture of this guy, but it’s a brown thrasher!  This is the second time I’ve seen him running around the area:
Tumblr media
Look at this funky lil’ guy!  A grackle!  They were so fun to watch:
Tumblr media
There were SO MANY swallows out flying around.  They kept flying around me, they were so much fun to watch!  And they’re SO PRETTY too.  I tried to take some pictures of them in flight, but it’s SO HARD.  This one is ok, I need to practice more.  This guy is a barn swallow:
Tumblr media
A red-winged black bird chilling in the rain:
Tumblr media
This is also a red-winged blackbird, but a female!  She caught breakfast!  This is probably my favorite picture I took today:
Tumblr media
A robin!
Tumblr media
When I got to the arboretum, some tree swallows were flying around!  Here are the best pictures I got of them midflight:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A titmouse grabbing a snack in the middle of the rain:
Tumblr media
There’s also a big flock of goldfinches that hangout here too!  I thought this guy looked handsome:
Tumblr media
This white-breasted nuthatch was having fun hopping around on this tree:
Tumblr media
OMG.  I didn’t realize this until I got home, but these are juvenile eastern bluebirds!!  Wow!!!
Tumblr media
This has a parent and a baby!!  Holy moly!!
Tumblr media
An indigo bunting in the rain.  I think my lens was starting to fog up:
Tumblr media
A downy woodpecker.  I like how it looks like they’re peaking around:
Tumblr media
A black-capped chickadee!  They snagged a treat:
Tumblr media
An indigo bunting again:
Tumblr media
I love this picture of a female cardinal:
Tumblr media
Now onto some scenery!

Dead/Abstracted Performer Headcanons Volume 2/5
Tumblr media
Name: Barridge ( A simple play on barrel of a gun and widget, also kind of sounds like barrage)
Avatar: Pink sloshy blob in a canon unicycle with a jester hat on the back.
Personality: Energetic and slightly clingy goober who was something of an adrenaline junky and enjoyed almost all the adventures.
Fun fact: Barridge had full control of the canon at all times, but not of his fluid head. Bonus: The other members of the first four took to calling him Barry and future arrivals all thought that was his actual name
Abstraction: He was the longest lasting member of the first four humans to enter the circus. The weight of missing his friends and Caine pressuring him to interact with the new performers just ended up being too much. His abstracted form broke a ride at the outdoor carnival and briefly glitched one other person.
Tumblr media
Name: Queener ( Even I have to take the easy route some time)
Avatar: Only difference between her and Kinger that's not visible in the portrait is a longer robe.
Personality: Wine aunt who arrived at the same time as Kinger, neither could remember the other's human life, but felt they should stick close together and formed a very close but nebulous bond. They were fiercely protective of each other.
Fun fact: She had a Canadian accent.
Abstraction: Kinger started letting go of his inhibitions to have more fun on adventures which worried her but she kept those feelings buried until it was too late. Her rampage broke a bunch of crap in the tent but fortunately, no one was glitched. Kinger blamed his perceived recklessness for her snapping which made him even more paranoid than he would have been if she just abstracted on her own.

Types of outdoor survival guys:
Survivor Guy
"This is the way humans were MEANT to live!" (Absolutely Not)
Lives and dies by his bow drill firestarter
Do it alone to prove something (not sure what, but do your thing, buddy)
Ironically the type of guy most famous for... not actually surviving
Vision Quest Guy
The whitest kind of guy
"Something something the transcendent experience of communing with nature"
"An old Indigenous guide once told me [insert Billy Graham quote here]"
Won't stop climbing into caves
Some kind of fabric tied around his head
"Man the Hunter" Guy
Beautiful and inherently useless flint-knapped knives
"Primitive Skills" (I literally hate this term with every fibre of my being)
Caught a squirrel one time and now believes he can "live off the land"
Why are you not wearing a shirt? The woods are COLD, dude
Super Adventure Guy
"It's not actually that far down, maybe like 1500 feet?"
Has broken so, so many bones
Somehow the guy least likely to die or disappear before you hear about him
Seriously dude, how are you still alive??
Experimental Archaeology Guy
Just the most unhinged man you've ever met
Thinks hunting goats with a stone spear is a polite dinner conversation topic
Indiana Jones couldn't get ethics board authorisation but somehow this guy can??
Has 3 atlatls and knows how to use them
Boy Scout Guy
No fewer than 3 types of firestarter on him every time he leaves the house
Can make a shelter out of literally anything
Infodumps constantly. Dangerously close to mansplaining for most of it
Could give a lecture on field first aid with no prep at all
Passes out at the sight of his own blood
Weekend Warrior Guy
"I saw this on TV once!"
Has every single outdoor survival gadget
Backpack weighs more than he does
All his co-workers know exactly where he was and what he did there last vacation
Carries a machete for some reason
German Tourist Guy
"Just let me park here for a minute, I need a selfie with that bear."
"Something something conquering the forces of nature"
The most expensive hiking boots you've ever seen
You're more likely to spot this kind of guy in the Canadian Arctic than polar bears and caribou combined
Outdoorsy Chick Guy
20-minute monologue about the importance of teaching your daughters they can do anything a boy can
Pink camo
She's probably a bow hunter
Medicinal plant enthusiast (accuracy not guaranteed)
"Men are crybabies, this is So Easy!"

Local Lens Scotland with Ewan & Colin McGregor
Ewan McGregor is coming home. This special episode of Local Lens, where the actor, director and goodwill ambassador reconnects with his brother, Colin, a former Royal Air Force fighter pilot turned instructor, in their homeland in the Scottish Highlands.
Ewan McGregor and his RAF fighter-pilot brother Colin take the trip they always dreamed of in the latest Local Lens episode directed by Stuart McIntyre, produced by production company Somesuch and serviced by production partner LS Productions.
‘Ewan McGregor: A Brothers’ Guide to Scotland’ The chance to explore the Highlands, where they holidayed with their family as young boys, presented itself via Expedia’s Local Lens video series, and they seized it. The backdrop of the Cairngorms' lush mountains, shimmering lochs, and the majestic trees of The Hermitage forest, the brothers embark on a nostalgic adventure in search of the northern lights—a trip complete with laughs, memories, music, and sheep.
Tumblr media

Produced by Somesuch for Expedia’s Local Lens series, the episode follows the pair as they travel from Colin’s home in Elgin, 175 miles north of Edinburgh, to the Scottish highlands in search of the northern lights.
Tumblr media
A love of adventure was a force bred strong in the brothers on childhood forays around their home country, forging an intimate bond. As Ewan says now, “When you know someone as well as your brother, you don’t need words.” They would take road trips with their parents, go hill-climbing, vacation on rugged Scottish beaches, and immerse themselves in water so unfathomably cold it fired them up for the rest of the day. “A lot of my memories are of us scrambling across cliffs and looking in rock pools,” says Ewan. “There’s a freedom about being a kid in this rugged, weathered landscape that’s just fantastic.”
Tumblr media
A picnic stop reminds them of childhood: “Then, it was a white roll with one lopsided cheese slice”
The weekend’s adventure across the Cairngorms is no less memorable. Watch as Stuart candidly captures the pair as they bicker. Get nostalgic. Get side tracked. Even have a mishap with sheep and take a dip in a friend’s freezing loch. They stop for fuel and Tunnock’s teacakes, an iconic Scottish chocolate-and-marshmallow snack that transports them back to their childhoods. They have moments of awestruck silence and absolute solitude. But most of all, the episode touchingly records the brothers as they reconnect with each other—and with the spectacular, otherworldly terrain they grew up surrounded by.

Stuart McIntyre a Canadian director. Recognised for his reverent depiction of sport and natural rapport with high-profile talent, his work is an exhilarating, high-octane style of realism.

"It's a very old, sort of rambly house, and the design of it is beautiful, very rustic and real," McGregor says of the Dell Cottage, where he stayed during the trip. Photo: Courtesy of Expedia
I love that they were making this video. This is the best one yet from Scotland. One’s a Hollywood star, the other a fighter pilot. But these famous brothers, have one key characteristic in common. Take in the majestic sights and sounds of the McGregor brothers’ adventure through the magnificent Highlands, on a voyage underpinned by childhood memories and encompassing the true and natural warmth and wit of Scotland. Jumping into lochs. Congrats to Colin and Ewan and Expedia Group who brought this wonderful film to life.

Chasing Winter Adventures in the Great White North: A Vanlife Tale Beyond the Clichés
By Alex Arseneault
When we hear about Vanlife most people see the classic cliché of someone laying on his bed rear doors open with a view on the ocean, right? For me, it’s anything but that.
Tumblr media
My name is Alex Arseneault, I live in Quebec City (Qc), Canada and I consider myself as a ‘’weekender adventurer’’. Experienced Kitesurfer / mountain biker / Snowboarder, I try to make the most of what my region has to offer while still have a normal job. The best tool I have found to make all those outdoors sports so much easy to handle is a Van. I often say to people that our van is our ‘’Mobile Chalet’’ ; it allow us to chase the best (Or worst) conditions, bring all the gear, be home everywhere and be selective on the destination.
Tumblr media
This winter I wanted to go explore further and experience what the alpine backcountry skiing has to offer in our region and because life is better when you are in good company, I wanted to do this trip with my girlfriend & our dog. Meet Cynthia & Gustav! The spot on the radar: The Chic-chocs mountains in Gaspesie. We prepared ourselves with an AST1 Course early in the season and analysis of the approach & terrain of each mountain in the Gaspesie National Park. Thank to the APP Ski Haute-Gaspésie that give so much information’s and you can also use it in GPS mode to find the official skintrails & descent hallway.
There we go. It’s early February, it recently dumped 25 to 40 cm in the mountains, the conditions are at their best. We checked the Avalanches & Weather Forecast, loaded the Van of food, water, gear and hit the road for a 6-hour road trip. The route become quite scenic when we left the Trans-Canadian highway and reach the route 132 along the Saint-Lawrence River. This road is famous during the summer but let’s say it can be quite hazardous during winter. We get excited when we reach the small village of Saint-Anne-des-Monts, which is the entrance of the Gaspesie National Park. The view is insane while we drive on the sinuous road between the mountains. At this point, we have no more signal. No cellphones, no internet, nada. Just us, our small house on wheels and the white mountains.
Tumblr media
We spent two days at a mountain called Mount Lyall. Well parked at the entrance of the skin track, we made our basecamp in the parking thanks to SEPAQ that allows autonomous Camper to stay in the parking for 25$/day. A dry toilet Cabin is at our disposal if required. We had amazing conditions, beautiful weather and even manage to bring Gustav with us for a descent in the treeline. What a nice experience, we felt so grateful to be out there together and enjoy winter at his best. Let’s be honest, winter in the east can somehow be challenging. Trip like this, certainly reconciles us with those ‘’Quebec winters’’. Oh... and speaking of ''challenging'' did I mention that it announces extreme cold during our journey? Well, Environment Canada has issued extreme cold warnings that covers most of the province with wind chills expected to be between -38 and -42 degrees Celcius. Not worried, we build our van for it, but we knew we were not going to go snowboarding in the backcountry in that temperature, let’s say that it would not be safe or even fun.
So, before this major polar vortex hit us, we spend another day in a mountain called Hog’s back. Same basecamp setup, different terrain. We did two laps on this mountain, but the conditions were a bit more challenging when we reach the Alpine terrain. A crust of ice covered the entire alpine territory which made the terrain unstable and difficult to cross. We then decided to stay in the treeline limit and managed to find some powder again. The highlight of the day was the encounter with a Caribou, a first for us! We were extremely lucky since this species is endangered. What a beautiful creature!
The next stop of our trip is a small village called Murdochville. This old mining town reborn from its ashes and has become the hub for backcountry skiing and snowmobiling in East Canada. We wanted to see this place, somehow sticked in the 80’s by its architecture and see what it has to offer. We parked the Van at the Chic-Chac resort wich has a ‘’Vanlife’’ space and offers access to showers and more... After a well-deserved shower, we spoiled ourselves with dinner at the Chic-Chac headquarter. This place is famous for parties and hosting events!
Tumblr media
The next day we walked the town and finally went for a lap on Mont Porphyre. Being located just outside the northern limit of Murdochville, this mountain allows residents and town visitors to ski directly from town. As the day progresses, temperature drop every hour and strong Northwest wind is picking up. We checked the forecast and there were no chances of doing any outdoors activities for the next two days in this ridiculously cold weather. We ended up driving in a polar vortex blizzard for 6 hours at 25 mph but managed to reach my friend’s house and spend the coldest night still comfortably installed in our van. Let’s just say that the webasto heater has run like never before.
Tumblr media
We spend the cold weather playing card games and drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace at my friend’s house.
I conclude on this quote: ‘’Winter forms our character and brings out our best.’’ Better enjoy it? #Exploremore

A brief story, inspired by, go figure, an ad:
When I was in college, way too long ago now, I had a class in Canadian Advertising and PR. You might think this sounds oddly specific. You'd be right. What was happening was this: my school was in the throes of deciding that we are not a vocational institution, and so a lot of the actually useful courses in the communications department were getting phased out. Some of the teachers, however, happened to be Canadian, and were also teaching in the Canadian Studies department, and thus responded to this clusterbeep (to borrow a term from my future boss at the very same university) by scooting their classes one building over and sticking them under very slightly different titles. The school was irked. They begrudgingly let the credits count for both departments anyway. (This is why I ended up only five credits short of a Canadian Studies minor by complete accident. Finishing it would have meant staying an extra quarter, so I didn't do it, but it would have been funny.)
Anyway: Canadian Advertising and PR. As you might guess, in broad terms of theory, technique, and format, it's virtually indistinguishable from advertising in the US. So coming up with projects for us that were specifically **Canadian** was a bit of a reach. We did, however, all get assigned to tackle one specific thing: a travel campaign for the province of Alberta. I did a riff on the "Wild Rose Country" slogan they were using at the time, shortened it to Wild Country, and did a whole series of ads about the sort of outdoor adventures you could go have in Alberta. I felt pretty good about the end product. I got a good grade, too, as I recall.
So fast forward to twenty-mumble years later (oh god help me what is time), and here I am looking at Reddit at stupid o'clock because I can't sleep. And this damn site decides to serve me up an ad about...Alberta. It exhorts me, as it shows me skiiers cavorting through the snowy wilderness, to come see "Canada's wild side." The words then roll over into "Canada's Alberta." And this ad looks
exactly
like
what
i
was
doing
in
college
...just, y'know, professionally filmed and with an actual budget and looking very very pretty
but the concept is...exactly that
Canadian advertising and PR, kids

Exercise Fic Recs 20
I have done 20 (?!?!?) of these recs so far, holy moly!  I think what I’m going to start doing is after every 10 rec posts, I’ll do some specialty recs.  After I rec everything I read this week, I’ll rec some podcasts that I enjoy (I LOVE PODCASTS, OMG).
Kind Truths by Mawiiish  (Superbat, complete.  Clark is Bruce’s plus one to a gala and has to deal with his ~feelings~ about Bruce.  Featuring protective Clark.  Very soft, very cute fic <3)
(one more and then) I’ll say goodbye by immolationfox  (Bruharvy, complete.  A take on how Battinson and Harvey Dent get together in The Batman (2022) verse.)
Stranger than Fiction by foxy_mulder  (Batfam, complete.  Little Timmy writes self insert fanfic about the Batfam.  Shenanigans ensue.  SO FUNNY, GIVE IT A READ.)
Masking by BombusBombus  (Superbat, complete.  A reread for me.  A fic about neurodivergent Bruce and Clark, the masks they wear for their personas, and how they come to love the real people beneath them.  Featuring the best scene discussing relationship goals and expectations.)
borderline by TheResurrectionist  (Batfam, wip.  An update to the batfam hivemind fic.  I am in love with this whole fic and always do a happy dance when it updates.)
Patchwork Pod by Kikat9  (Superbat, wip.  MERMAID AU!!  Bruce is a mermaid with no pod and Clark is the fisherman that befriends him.)
Story of the Century by navaan  (Superbat, complete.  Lois and Jimmy catch Superman and Batman kissing and get photographic evidence of it!  What do they do now?!?)
Stay by navaan  (Superbat, complete.  Clark won’t stay the night and Bruce wants to figure out why.)
Homecoming by Sparkypants  (Batfam, complete.  A look at Jason and Bruce’s relationship throughout the years.  Angst, but with a happy ending!!)
And now for some podcasts!!
Behind the Bastards.  Everything you didn’t know about the worst people in history.  I love the host, Robert Evans.  He used to work at Cracked and has done reporting for Bellingcat.
Qanon Anonymous.  A deep dive into the cult/conspiracy of Qanon and the other conspiracies that tie into it.  If you really like this podcast, they also have a patreon with some additional content and side podcasts.  One of the short, side podcasts that they are working on is called Manclan, which takes a closer look at online masculinity influencers.  That one is FACINATING to listen too.  And kinda sad.
Lions Led By Donkeys.  A military history podcast that goes into the worst fuck ups done by militaries.  Be warned, some of the topics they get into can be pretty heavy, so look at the episode summaries for warnings before you listen to them.
Welcome to Night Vale.  Different from the others I’ve recced, lol.  Incase you have never heard of WTNV on this hellsite, it’s a fictional podcast that takes place in the mysterious town of Night Vale, where all the conspiracy theories go to live.  Each episode is a radio broadcast, and your host is Cecil Palmer.  I also like to describe it as if NPR and The Twilight Zone got together and had a very queer baby.
Whenever I get my latte and croissant, I also get a breakfast sandwich, but I never picture it.  UNTIL NOW.  It’s a veggie breakfast sandwich with an egg that always has a gooey yolk.  DELICIOUS.
Tumblr media
They also had PRIDE DONUTS for Pride Month!  I had to get one for a snack after my walk:
Tumblr media
A red-winged blackbird.  He lost his keys and can’t find them :(
Tumblr media
Canadian goose!
Tumblr media
Big stretch
Tumblr media
The babies have entered their so ugly they’re cute stage:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Green heron.  I love how you can see their reflection:
Tumblr media
Grackle with some nest building materials:
Tumblr media
A robin!  They caught their breakfast:
Tumblr media
Blue heron!
Tumblr media
Close up:
Tumblr media
THEY SPOTTED ME:
Tumblr media
A robin again.  They were singing at me, so I had to take a picture:
Tumblr media
It was rainy and cool today at the arboretum, which was nice because the past week was hot here.  Didn’t see as many birds, but the scenery was still lovely to look at.  I can’t get over how pretty the water lilies are at the arboretum:
Tumblr media
A cool close up of a flower!  you can really see the raindrops on it:
Tumblr media
Another close up of some flowers.  I really like the color and pattern on this one!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Waterfalls, my favorite :)
Tumblr media
A neat iris with some raindrops:
Tumblr media
On to the birds!  A Carolina Wren:
Tumblr media
LOOK AT THIS COOL BUG:
Tumblr media
Indigo Bunting:
Tumblr media
Eastern Bluebird!  He’s so handsome:
Tumblr media
Omg, I love this Cardinal’s face:
Tumblr media
I love chickadees, they are so tiny and adorable:
Tumblr media
Another waterfall (because I’m weeeeeeak):
Tumblr media
There are two birds here!  The top one is an eastern bluebird, but I’m not sure what the one on the bottom would be.  Some kind of flycatcher?
Tumblr media
An indigo bunting looking off into the distance:
Tumblr media
Froggy!
Tumblr media
There is a bird in this tree, can you see them?
Tumblr media
Need a hint?  They’re right here:
Tumblr media
It’s a ruby-throated hummingbird!  This is the third time I’ve found this guy here!  He must like to be tall, or something:
Tumblr media
A chipping sparrow:
Tumblr media
There are also some really neat koi (I think?) in the pond at the arboretum.  They’re so big!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pretty flowers again to finish this off:

Ember Scout Guide (AKA: DnD Girl Scouts)
Greetings DnDblr! For a current campaign, I'm working on a Girl Guide (canadian Girl Scout) build of a Ranger. For that reason, I have gone entirely insane and my former Girl Guide leader-brain has created an extensive system for this character. Enjoy, and feel free to use for your own characters/campaigns :)
The Ember Scouts, much like the actual Girl Guides/Scouts, are made up of seven age-based levels, as well as two merit-based levels. Their primary aim is to educate girls from all socio-economic, cultural, etc backgrounds in essential skills, such as teamwork, leadership, defeating their enemies, spellwork, assassination, alchemy, community service, and hand-to-hand combat. The Ember Scout program consists of a wide range of badges and is funded entirely by donation, run by community volunteers. In Wyrm Scouts, girls at the rough equivalent of five to seven in human years learn to adventure and explore the world around them. Emphasized are teamwork, sword skills, getting outside and having fun, campfire songs, and small-time hand-to-hand combat. All Scouts sell delicious Ember Scout cookies at every level, but Wyrm Scouts are often accompanied by their troop or Lion Turtle Scouts. In Lion Turtle Scouts, girls at the rough equivalent of eight to ten in human years learn to lead a team and slay their enemies. Emphasized are hand-to-hand combat, outdoor skills (like setting up a tent, building a fire, knowing which plants contain neurotoxins, etc), and member-led community service projects! In Hag Scouts, girls at the rough equivalent of ten to thirteen in human years further their combat and hunting skills, learn common battle tactics, organize district-wide cookie distribution and community service projects for younger Scouts, and complete a Hag Scout Quest in order to graduate to the next level, where they must, to the satisfaction of their Troop Leader, defeat a powerful utilize all core aspects of the Ember Scout Law: Cunning, Community Service, Leadership, Bloodthirstiness, Responsible Magic Use, and Teamwork. As a Beholder Scout, a member at the rough equivalent of thirteen to fifteen in human years returns from their Hag Scout Quest and trains younger Scouts in the use of arcane arts and combat. Furthermore, they are tasked with completing 150 volunteer hours at the end of their two-year term. Beholder Scouts and Hag Scouts alike have the chance to complete their Lady Blazing-Power Award by selling up to 500 cases of cookies, organizing a community-wide service project, contributing 50 hours. They must also spend at least two years as Junior Troop Leader. As Gelatinous Cube Scouts, members at the rough equivalent of fifteen to seventeen prowl their district in search of the glory of combat, embark on dangerous quests, and roam their land as a loner in search of something greater, something much darker.
At any point in their Ember Scout journey, an Ember Scout can work toward first attaining the highly-revered rank of Dragon Scout, then Eternal Scout. Dragon Scouts must embark on a years-long quest, referred to as their Dragon Scout Cornerstone project, where they must either use their peacemaking skills to form an alliance between their community and a Draconic one, or use their war-making skills to slay several, returning with their blood and severed teeth as a prize. The Dragon Scout rank is well-respected, with there only ever being three recorded Dragon Scouts in Ember Scout history. After becoming a Dragon Scout, an Ember Scout can escape to the mountains and spend years in exile in a temple, communing with the gods, or become a legendary warrior, whose name is only ever spoken in whispers. Whatever the outcome, an Eternal Scout hopeful must spend ten human years or equivalent at minimum establishing a relationship with a divine patron, dark or light, and vanish mysteriously into oblivion. Their name lives on only in history, as a truly Eternal Scout.

Choose us to Get best experience in Snowbird RV resorts
With the introduction of Covid-19, more individuals in Canada are turning to nature for its unmatched therapeutic and health advantages. Being surrounded by nature and the trees is beneficial to us all. The same is true for snowbirds. A rise in demand for RV facilities that can meet and accommodate to their unique RV, leisure, and health and wellness demands has resulted from Canada's rising Snowbird community.
Across the nation, new RV park resorts are springing up, with Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario leading the way. Resort builders are taking full advantage of the increase in demand in the industry, and many of them have begun construction on brand-new full-service private RV resorts. Others are upgrading their existing RV parks to draw in more visitors, including the 380,000 Canadian snowbirds who travel to warmer climates in RVs during the winter. This huge, mobile, and somewhat affluent group has several particular requirements, including proximity to restaurants, RV parks with complete amenities, including full electricity and water, close medical services, hospital facilities, and restaurants. A resort developer from Calgary named Pinnacle Lifestyles has made significant investments to turn well-liked, historic campsites into luxurious, distinctive, and hospitality-focused RV parks. offering upmarket services like concierge assistance, bill-to-RV lot services like delivery of camping essentials and wood, as well as other classes of goods that local RVers regularly use. The goal of the business is to improve the Snowbird RV resorts experience. Revelstoke Campground, located in southern British Columbia at the foot of Mount Revelstoke, is the company's newest Snowbird RV Parks .
While being nestled into a fantastic, secluded camping area, in among the woods, just a few miles from town, Revelstoke Campground is well positioned near to all of Revelstoke's neighborhood services and facilities. A large selection of serviced pull-through RV campsites, an outdoor pool, a camp shop, a playground for children, an outdoor adventure center, and a climbing wall are all available at Revelstoke Campground. The helpful staff at the on-site Flexpeditions outdoor adventure center accepts direct reservations for guided kayak, whitewater rafting, and canoe activities. In order to turn the formerly KOA campsite into a full-service resort destination that meets and surpasses campers' expectations as well as Pinnacle Lifestyles' high, contemporary standards, modifications are being made there during 2020.Visit us online at https://www.canadasnowbirds.com/

Yoho National Park, Canada
Tumblr media
Yoho National Park, on the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in British Colombia, attracts visitors from around the world with its waterfalls, alpine lakes and mountain vistas. With more than 400 kilometres of trails, it’s an ideal location for outdoor adventurers of all levels, offering easy self-guided hikes or full-day outings to the 505-million-year-old Burgess Shale fossil beds. The fossils are the oldest evidence of complex life on Earth and recognised as a key part of the UNESCO Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site. There are many varieties of flora and fauna nestled in the park’s dense subalpine forests, which open to reveal views of the surrounding peaks.
Today, we’re taking in the scenic vistas of Emerald Lake. This gem in the wilderness is a major tourist attraction and is the largest lake in the park. Not too far from the TransCanada Highway, Emerald Lake is easily accessible and attracts tourists all through summer (prime hiking season is July to mid-September). It was discovered in 1882 by guide Tom Wilson, who accidentally stumbled upon the lake by gathering horses that had gotten away.
