That's for another post. I have quite a few treats to share for this anniversary!#Rather...I've been thinking about my own relationships and the bonds I've forged and broken.#The transition between environments...when you leave somewhere and hear about how all the people you were once close with-#-have been moving on without you? It's so bittersweet.#You want to be happy for them. You wish you were at their side. You cannot be at their side.#Relationships change like the tides. They ebb and flow. Sometimes they crash so hard into the shore it reshapes it entirely.#The truth is that we are more surrounded by love than we realize. Even when we feel utterly alone - there is someone who wants to help.#And to me this scene strikes a chord in that way.#This is the reminder than even though you feel like it is all burning down around you - you are loved.#There are people who miss you. People who are so thankful for your presence in their life.#And most importantly of all. And I say this from the heart: There are people you have yet to meet.#Remember this in the darkest of days: The future is full of loves you have yet to see. The present is also full of love you forgot to see.#Another reminder to go tell someone you care about how much they mean to you today. It matters.

It's not that Bruce has a problem, necessarily. He just has a type.

And Danny, with his blue eyes, black hair, and hangdog expression (an almost permanent feature thanks to a past Jason tries not to think about, lest the Green fill his vision entirely) absolutely fits that type. Even more so, when someone pulls him out of those dark thoughts.

Danny is far more intelligent than he gives himself credit for. Danny has a sharp mind and a sharper tongue. He's kind enough to care for the people of Gotham more than Gotham will ever care about him, but strong enough to let that wash over him like water off a duck's back.

Danny Nightingale is never allowed to meet Bruce Wayne.

Alright, never might be a bit of a stretch. Danny Nightingale is not allowed to meet Bruce Wayne, not until Jason manages to put a ring on his finger. Otherwise, good intentions or not, Bruce can and will make things really weird, really quickly.

It's a good thing (kind of) that the rest of his haphazardly extended family are more keen to bully him for being wrapped around a skinny little twink's finger than welcome another brother into the family, because this is a level of interference Jason's pretty sure he couldn't run on his own.

You cannot be a perfectionist'.#Right now - posting these slightly upgraded frames is really helping me stay motivated through the learning grind.#But progress is happening! I'm so excited to show it off when it's done!#Someone with a very discerning eye might be able to figure out what I'm doing with just this one frame. I will take the risk.#That aside; I often think about how the nature of cultivators in MDZS's world also entailed knowing about other art forms.#Meaning that Wen Qing and Wen Ning likely were good musicians and artists.#We know WWX is also good in art and music so...really...what was stopping them from forming a band?#Allow me to pitch this AU: Yiling Opera company AU. WWX and the Wen remnants form a performing trope and tour towns and cities.#Not only do they find a way to keep on the move (no home...only the road and the people around you).#But you also get to be in costume - which is a socially appropriate way to always be in disguise.#Yiling Laozu would thus be a character and/or WWX's stage name.#Would he be good at keeping it a secret? Hard to say with WWX! I think it would be a poorly-kept secret at best.#He likes to brag and show off a bit too much. This many would be either the worst or best spy.#Consider the drama of JC losing his mind over his ex-brother becoming a clown. Imagine JC Getting his ass kicked by said clown.#Imagine the delectable secret identity drama potential of Lan Wangji stumbling upon the trope's performances.#We did not get nearly enough of the secret identiy drama in MDZS canon. I need more of it.#I need that man conflicted with his feelings for the same person. I need them playing mind games with each other at all times.

can’t help but think of how, if we choose to go by sirius’ characterisation as a private, arrogant teen who only lets a select few into his circle, sirius’ post-azkaban life just have been such an utterly humiliating experience for him.

especially OoTP. when he has all these near strangers in his childhood house, that he hated and loved and ran away from and couldn’t ever escape. if he spent his entire pre-azkaban existence building a cold and aloof persona, not letting people know what his home life had been like, then to have all of these people get a front row seat to it because of kreacher and portrait walburga’s shenanigans must have been near unbearable. to have the entire order, including snape whom he disliked and mistrusted, hear the kinds of names he’s being called.

not only does he have to deal with the retraumatisation of his childhood, but also the fact that he’s flayed open for everyone to see. it’s not only his freedom, innocence, dignity that has been snatched from him but his privacy also. it’s such a cruel thing to experience, on top of everything else.

to have literal children, his godson who he has been kept away from all this while, whom he presumably wants to be able to look up to him, to have him see into the deepest parts of his soul. to have to be so weak in front of him. not only is he subjected to such vileness but he also cannot do anything about it.

sirius has not had a moment of peace in all the time we knew him. it is indignity upon indignity that is heaped onto him. every other character has gotten a moment of respite but him. it fully breaks my heart.
