thought this as i was getting ready to sleep last night

atsushi who starts getting super clingy -- all hugs and cuddles, more than normal

atsushi rubbing his cheek against his friends'

atsushi giving his sweaters to his friends, or gloves or scarves or other such things

atsushi taking their clothes and wearing them and giving them back

the ada confused as hell, finally going to ranpo like "is atsushi dying???"

and ranpo is like "isn't it obvious"

and the ada is like "no" unaware that atsushi is scratching/sharpening his nails at the entrance

and ranpo is like "its the time of year we get a lot of cats in the neighborhood. he's marking his territory"

fukuzawa is delighted at being shown affection by his cat son but heartbroken that his cat son is trying to make sure no other cat comes

everyone else is mostly just amused

Or when he's fighting his eyes narrow into little slits and he hisses

And when he's eating or looking at akutagawa his eyes get really big

The agency is on a mission and don't notice that Atsushi stopped walking to stare down an alley with his ears and tail out and slowly wagging. He ends up stalking a raccoon and pouncing in it. They're all disgusted when he brings it to them and tries to give it to Dazai, who's just amused by catsushi.

I wonder as I stand in the rain with my brain just screaming "CATSUSHIIIII" while trying to play the Tales of the Lost band event because brozai said "lmao no" to my Atsushi pulls while my brain is also shaking me in a choke hold to make more Atsushi content

so have these drawings I made years ago when I first joined the Fandom, avoided drawing normal hands like the plague, AND finally got myself some fucking crayola color pencils :D

No thoughts, just Atsushi having tiger instincts. Atsushi having a special pillow he hides in his futon just for kneading. He hides the pillow because he was shamed for his tiger instincts at the orphanage, but as he opens up to the ADA more, different members get to see his more suppressed instincts (they think its the cutest thing ever). Dazai is the first to discover the pillow and Atsushi gets super scared before Dazai reassures him that its okay and that he thinks its adorable. This is the first time Atsushi has ever been allowed to express his tiger instincts, and in happiness, he rubs his cheek against Dazai. Dazai is shocked and Atsushi is too after disengaging with the cheek rub but Dazai quickly regains his composure and hugs Atsushi back, while rubbing his cheek. Atsushi is incredibly overjoyed about Dazai (his family...!!) scenting him and expressing his love for Atsushi that he starts chuffing too. Dazai screams

Okay... hear me out (again)

Welcome back to "Is it a head canon or is it shit posting?"

Ahem.

Atsushi as the tiger carrying Chuuya in his mouth, like, "This my human. No touchy."

I already headcanon the tiger as respecting Chuuya in my silly little canonverse series for them. But the idea of Byakko carrying Chuuya around like a cub while Chuuya complains is hilarious to me.

Additionally, something my server and I have talked a lot about: the ADA asking Atsushi to transform on particularly bad days so they can cuddle him (except Dazai, who must instead settle for human Atsu cuddles). Basically like that scene in Turning Red when Mei becomes the panda.

I have had thoughts and must share them!

Atusushi in full tiger form in the Ada office just chilling on the floor, fukuzawa idly running his hand through his fur, Ranpo leaning on the tiger, kenji laid on Atusushi’s back, kunikida patting his head as he walks by, Dazai taking photos, aktugawa just randomly showing up and deciding to lay on atusushi’s other side, when Atu turns back and everyone is asleep he’s so confused, also trapped under sleeping coworkers and boyfriend. He just manually turns back into full tiger form and they wake up to a very happy tiger
