Here’s info on the Celestial Hierarchy

The rulers over the Celestials. They possess the ability to radiate light and heat from their bodies which makes it possible for life to form on planets for archiving life forms. The Solaris possess healing properties that heals both celestials and life forms. Their energy can recharge other celestial’s energy, which they need to survive or they fade away into dust.

Without them, there’s no life at all.

Characteristics:

Solar markings on their bodies 

Solaris come in colors of pink, orange, yellow, white and beige. Red, green, purple and blue are rarities in Solaris.

Pink, peach, white, red or orange hair.

Has a hale as a pupils in their eyes 

Sparkling tiny white star-like spots all over the body, which is uncommon.

The law enforcement and law makers.

Unlike other celestials, Eclipses born from the union of a Solaris and Lunaris. Due to inheriting both of their parent’s abilities and magic, Eclipses have undescribable powerful. As a result of their impressive capabilities, Eclipses have been granted a special rank within the celestial hierarchy as law enforcement, presiding over trials and judgement.

There’s are two variations of Eclipses; Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse. The birth of an Eclipse variation is determined by the parentage of the celestial giving birth. If a Lunaris gives birth, a Lunar Eclipse is born, and if a Solaris gives birth, a Solar Eclipse is born.

Characteristics:

Solar, Lunar and Stellar markings on their bodies.

Lunar Eclipses’s Pupil and Iris are shaped as one of the phases of the moon. At rare occasions some Lunar Eclipses have a normal pupil with the iris lunar shaped. 

Solar Eclipse’s have a hale around their pupils in their eyes.

Sparkling tiny white star-like spots all over the body, which is a rarity.

Constellations, the equivalent of Royal courts, are ruled by an Eclipse or a Solaris. Celestials see being a part in Constellation as a honor and a privilege. In large Constellations, as many thousands of Celestials constituted the Constellation. These Constellations members usually include an Eclipse’s or a Solaris’s family, guards, Archivists, Curator, Overseer, Assessor, Head Cataloger, Head Biologist, Chronicler, Minders, performers, etc.

Lunaris’s role is to observe, collect and preserve life forms from planets to archive them.

However, If they encounter resistance during their collecting, they have a known policy to, "clean the planet and scorch the air".

This is interesting because my assumption is Seraph.

"Seraph" means both "serpent" and "burning". While hierarchies differ in their placement of the seraph, the Celestial Hierarchy by pseduo-dionysus the areopogite puts them in the first (highest) order of angels.

I have a very dear friend who has Big Knowledge about all things theology and angels and occultism and a big etc (they're a published author so they read A Ton Of Things for their books), and I made them watch Good Omens, and talking with them about it I said I'd really like to know what kind of Angel Crowley was. They told me "A Throne sounds very Crowley", based on what Muriel said when they snuck Crowley into Heaven. And, well...

hello there!! thank you for asking!! starstruck certainly should not know this word, unless perhaps meta knight taught her. astéróki is a word from my conlang for the Celestials, "starspeak"!

it's from asté: simply meaning 'star' (a very overused word in their language), ró: used as a diminutive modifier (makes something small/cute), and ki: a personaliser, suggesting that the diminutive star is in possession of individuality or personhood. you can read more in depth about ró and ki here!

so all in all, astéróki in this usage is probably best translated to "little star of mine". it's typically an affectionate pet-name or greeting, though it can also be used generally (especially if someone is physically smaller and does not have a more useful rank title) or even mockingly- the way someone sleazy might say "darling" but they do not mean it nicely.

there's also something else i'd like to take the chance to add on about this one, actually! despite the diminutive, astéróki is not juvenile or infantilizing in nature.

i've seen some folks accidentally misinterpret this previously because i didn't clarify at the time, but my Celestials do not have a childhood stage, so their language has no room for words that imply youth or childish vulnerability that way!

The bunker is unusually quiet tonight. No hunts, no pressing research, no looming apocalypse. Just the hum of the overhead lights, the faint scratch of Sam’s pen against paper in the library, and Castiel’s voice, steady and low, filling the room.

You sit across from him at the war room table, a half-finished beer in front of you, your legs tucked beneath you on the chair. He’s talking—has been for the last fifteen minutes—and you don’t interrupt. You never do.

“…Of course, the celestial hierarchy is more complex than humans often assume,” he says, brow furrowed in thought. “For instance, cherubim are not as affectionate as the name might suggest, nor do they resemble infants with wings. That was an artistic misinterpretation.”

You nod slowly, watching him with something between amusement and fondness. “That so?”

Cas tilts his head, considering. “Yes. They are, in fact, quite fearsome. Their true form is—” He pauses, searching for the right word. “Difficult to describe in a way that wouldn’t inspire existential dread.”

You huff a quiet laugh, resting your chin on your palm. “I think I’ll just stick with the Cupid version.”

He gives a small, almost imperceptible smile. “That would be wise.”

The conversation drifts.

He tells you about the stars, about how humans barely see a fraction of what’s out there, about constellations that don’t have names in any human language. He talks about Heaven—not the version people imagine, but the real one. How it shifts and changes, how souls exist in fragments of memory, how time doesn’t quite work the same way.

“I don’t visit as often anymore,” he admits, fingers idly tracing the edge of his trench coat where it drapes over his lap. “It doesn’t feel like home.”

There’s something unspoken in his voice, something heavy, but you don’t push. Instead, you offer him something simple.

“You feel at home here?”

Cas looks at you, and there’s a beat of silence before he nods. “Yes.”

Warmth spreads through your chest, quiet and soft, like the glow of a candle in the dark.

Neither of you speak for a while. The bunker hums around you, steady, safe. Castiel’s eyes flicker toward your beer, thoughtful.

“I still don’t understand the human attachment to alcohol,” he muses. “It tastes unpleasant and impairs cognitive function.”

You grin. “Yeah, well, sometimes humans like being impaired.”

Cas considers this for a moment. “That is… troubling.”

You chuckle, shaking your head. “Welcome to humanity, Cas.”

He exhales, almost like a laugh, and settles back in his chair. And for the rest of the night, he keeps talking, and you keep listening—because there’s something soothing about his voice, about the way he sees the world, about the way he cares.

And in the stillness of the bunker, with Castiel’s voice filling the space between you, everything feels a little less lonely.

It was warmer than you had anticipated. Already fast asleep from your game night earlier, the younger angel tucks himself closer into your arms. His wings flutter faintly above you, shaped into what looks like a protective arc.

You remember staying over for the first time at Purgatory Hall, the sudden 'fwip' emerging from Luke's back almost sent you stumbling: One side was three times his size. Even that is still growing, Simeon explained in whispers. Your blonde friend stayed unconcious, soft exhales of air leaving his mouth while you marvel at the new discovery.

The wings, like you imagined, are pristine white. Tips of Luke's feathers are much softer compared to Simeon's— the older angel had only chuckled when you pull your hand back the first time your fingers run over them —with the latter resembling more of the blunt edges of needles poking onto your skin. Simeon's wings are also much more arched than the curved Luke's.

"Would his wings turn into yours?"

You shift your body slightly, head turning as far as you could to the dark skinned angel on your other side, who seems to have the same mind with his blue eyes already on you currently. His wings are nowhere in sight. Luke's wings are almost always around you when you sleep. You suppose it's a control or skill thing.

"Not quite." Simeon finds himself inching closer to you, breaking into a fond smile. "It depends on our.. role, I suppose. I'd have to protect myself hence the sharper ends." Protect? ...From what? You don't give it a lot of thought, he would tell you more when he wants to. But it would only make sense seeming as both the Celestial Realm and the Devildom were considered equals for a long, long time.

"I see..." Head lightly bobbing in a nod, you trail off into a comfortable silence before the taller angel drapes his arm loosely across your middle. "Close your eyes." He murmurs, pressing a kiss to your temple as the wings above you twitch gently. Sleep cocoons you that night. Surrounds you with a comforting rhythm of heartbeats you've grown to memorize. When you wake up, you'd feel the stretch of a smile on your face like many other nights you slept with them.

id like to think the higher the angels hierarchy are, the more sharp theyd be. maybe they can soften it on control idk 🤷‍♂️ but if the demons have their own horns and powers and shit, celestial realm must have smtg similar
