It’s been a hot minute, but I’m finally posting chapter 3! I’m sorry for the wait, but I’m gonna be trying to update more and enjoy writing again. I hope you all love this chapter. As I’m sure you’ll guess from the title, it’s set during the iconic common kiss.

First Kiss - May 1997

 Ginny stood beside Demelza, her butterbeer warming on the table beside her. The common room was loud and hectic. Between the excited cheers and heart-pounding music, Ginny could hardly hear her friend. If she was being honest, Ginny wasn’t sure she would have been able to focus on a word being said to her. Not when her attention kept drifting towards the portrait hole. 

 To where Harry could walk through any moment. 

 She knew it was pathetic to literally be watching the door for him, but Ginny wanted to see his face when he realized they’d won. When he realized she won for him. Well… not just for him, because being the reason Cho Chang threw her broom to the ground was gratifying. But really she wanted to give Harry a reason to smile again. He’d been so down since that incident with Malfoy that it made Ginny’s heart ache for him. 

 Ginny didn’t know all the details, but she knew Harry had regretted whatever he’d done and yet, he kept punishing himself. She’d noticed how before the bathroom incident, Harry had been hanging around her. It was hard to miss the lingering looks and awkward flirty comments he’d made to her. And it would be a lie if she said she didn’t like it. 

 Hell, she loved it. 

 After all these years, and Harry finally seemed to notice she was a girl. So she’d leaned into it, not that it was a hardship. She’d always fancied him, but this year there had just been such a shift between them that it was practically overwhelming. One look from those intense green eyes and her heart was stuttering. When his hand had so naturally fallen on her knee while they sat in the common room had turned her into putty.  

There had been a moment before the Malfoy incident where Ginny had thought something might happen. They had been walking back up to the castle after a long practice. Ron had forgotten his knapsack in the changing room, leaving Harry and Ginny to walk alone. They’d spent the time joking, and what Ginny would consider flirting. Harry had been grinning at her as she re-enacted one of her more spectacular goals. She’d turned around so she was walking backward, not paying any mind to the ground. Which was why she’d tripped on an uneven step and nearly fallen flat on her back. Harry’s fast reflexes had saved her. He’d grabbed her wrist and pulled her back up, but his strength was greater than expected, as he’d pulled her straight into his chest. Her cheek had fallen over his heart, which thundered against his ribs. She’d been able to feel her own racing heart as she started to pull away with an apology on the tip of her tongue… which had died when she looked up into his face. The way he’d been looking at her… it was like she was the most beautiful thing in the world. He’d started to lean down, and Ginny had started to rise onto her toes when Ron’s voice had broken the spell between them. They’d both shot back as her brother had sprinted towards them yelling something about wanting dinner. 

 Ginny had been certain that after years of never dreaming it, Harry finally fancied her. But then Harry had pulled back after the whole Malfoy thing. And for some twisted reason, Ginny had gotten it in her head that if they won the cup that… that well she didn’t really know what her imagination had started coming up with some rather interesting ideas as she lay in bed at night. 

 “Ginny?” Demelza slapped her shoulder hard enough Ginny felt the sting. 

 She glared at her friend. “What was that for?” 

 Demelza rolled her eyes. “I’ve literally been talking to you for five minutes and you haven’t heard a word I’ve said. Listen, I can guarantee when Harry shows up you’ll know, so stop watching the door like a lovesick puppy.”

 Ginny bristled. “I’m not a lovesick puppy… I just want to make sure Harry knows we won.”

 “Oh, and the fact the entire house is celebrating won’t give that away?” 

 “I — I guess I want to be the one to tell him.”

 Demelza’s expression softened. “You’ve got it bad, girl. And to be fair so does he so you two are perfect for each other.” Demelza rested a hand on Ginny’s shoulder. “Listen, when Harry arrives the entire common room will greet him, but you… you should run straight up to him and be the first to hug him.”

 Ginny nodded slowly. “Yeah, I’ll hug him and congratulate him.”

 “Then drag him out of here and snog him senseless.”

 “Demelza!” Ginny laughed. 

 “What?!” Demelza lifted her hands in a gesture of innocence. “The tension between you two could be cut with a knife. Really, you’d be doing all of us a favor… well, except maybe your brother.”

 Their laugher was loud, even for the rambunctious common room. Ginny was about to make a cheeky comment when a loud cry came from the entranceway. Harry was slowly walking in, his expression wary. Ginny’s focus tunneled on him. She could see the way his nerves quickly evaporated as he took in the excited crowd. Ron was standing there with the cup still gripped tightly in his hands. 

 Without realizing it, Ginny started following Demelza’s instructions. Her feet started carrying her to him. She pushed past people to reach him. When she was only a few yards away their eyes locked and Ginny was nearly stopped in her tracks. He was looking at her with that intensity that shot right to her gut. 

 When she reached him, Ginny wrapped her arms high around his neck, fully intending to pull him as close as possible. Before she knew what had happened, Harry had closed the gap between them and pressed his lips to hers. 

 His lips were slightly chapped as they uncertainly moved across hers. Ginny didn’t hold back. Her nails dug into his hair as she pressed herself closer to get a better angle. She lost track of everything by Harry, everything but the way his hands held the small of her back. 

 Eventually, they pulled away. Her entire body buzzed with energy as she tried to get her brain to come back to life. When Harry’s hand fell into hers, she looked into his hopeful expression. He jerked his head towards the exit and Ginny happily followed his lead. 

 Once the portrait hole shut behind them, Harry pulled them to the side, his bottom lip pulled into his teeth. “Gin, I’m sorry.”

 Her heart sank into her stomach. Did he regret what just happened? Hadn’t he meant to kiss her? 

 As her mind started spiraling, Harry’s words broke through the blood rushing in her ears. “I didn’t mean to do that there. I had intended to ask you for a walk or something. I don’t know, I just… I didn’t intend to kiss you in front of everyone.”

 Ginny blinked, the anxiety in her gut evaporating. She could feel a smile start to curl her lips. “So you meant to kiss me?”

 Harry’s jaw dropped as he blinked in rapid-fire succession. “I — of course I did. I’d only been dreaming about it all bloody year.” His cheeks brightened as he snapped his mouth closed. 

 And just like that, Ginny felt like she was on top of the world. She brought her hand to his forearm, letting her finger slowly forge a trail across his skin. “All year, hm?”  

 When he let out a small choking noise Ginny looked up into his red face to see that his eyes were locked onto her exploring finger. “I mean — it wasn’t like —” He swallowed, his chin jerking up so fast she was worried he’d hurt his neck. His eyes were on hers as he started stumbling over his own tongue. “What I mean — I know you were with Dean, but — I just —”

 Ginny had heard enough. Her hand that had been on his arm moved with lightning speed to the front of his robes, fisting them. “Harry.”

 His bright eyes were wide as he stared at her. “Yeah?”

 “Shut up.” She pulled him closer, rising onto her toes and kissing him hard.

Splitting up Team 7....Let's get into it

Disclaimer❗️: I'm not trying to dog on anyone who makes alternate team headcanons for fun. I have my own thoughts ofc, but as long as you're truly not hurting anyone, it's not that deep. I'm sharing my thoughts on this since I've seen this take a few times over the years, but do with it what you will!

Tbh, it baffles me when ppl say that Sakura (bc that's usually who's removed from the team in these takes) or anyone else on Team 7 would've had better development if they were assigned to a different team. I think people fail to consider that Team 7’s close, consistent proximity and becoming teammates was one of the key reasons why they were able to get past their initial impressions of each other and form a deep bond.

This is only one example, but as far as we know, no other team went on any dangerous missions like Team 7 did to the Land of Waves. Granted, that was an outlier since that mission was supposed to be a C rank; however, it was vital to their individual growth. It shaped their perceptions of each other as teammates and of the shinobi world as a whole. If Sakura, Sasuke, and/or Naruto were placed on a different team (assuming little-to-nothing else was changed in the series), I'd deem it unlikely that they would've grown to be the shinobi they became, although not as quickly.

If you want, you can view this through the lense of recent media, particularly the YA genre. There are many reasons why they tend to be set in middle/high school (though I think that's starting to change and expand, thank goodness), one of them being the outcomes of forced, consistent proximity.

The characters are placed in an environment where they're (more often than not) forced to interact; it's not like college or other settings where you can simply leave if you don't want to be there, especially without it being fair to others in your group. While it’s ultimately up to them to choose whether or not they want to become more than acquaintances with their classmate(s), their relationship has a higher chance of forming due to being consistently around each other.

The same applies to Team 7 and honestly, the other Rookie 9 teams. They were all placed on their teams- a learning and training environment with forced, consistent proximity- for a reason. Ino-Shika-Cho being placed together since they're THEE Ino-Shika-Cho trio (if any sensei had messed that iconic trio up....bless their hearts fr), and Team 8 all being trackers.

For Team 7, it was also so they could all learn and benefit from each other in some way. Naruto could benefit from Sasuke’s proficiency in ninjutsu, Sakura's intelligence, and both of their calmer personalities(give or take with Sakura) seeing as he got the lowest marks at the academy and misbehaved a lot. Sasuke could benefit from Naruto and Sakura's social and outgoing personalities seeing as he got low scores in cooperation and teamwork.

While Sakura performed well in her academics, she slacked greatly in anything pertaining to using physical strength. She could benefit from Sasuke and Naruto's taijutsu and battle skills seeing as she got low marks in taijutsu.

I think it's also worth noting that Sakura is a balance of their personalities while having her own. While she's not always on 10 like Naruto was, she was able to be social and upbeat and like him. She wasn't emotionally cold or nonchalant like Sasuke, but she was able to match his calmer "think first, act later" demeanor. Ofc, they've all had their moments and didn't act the same way all the time. I love that Team 7 can share one brain cell at times, lol.

As I said in the preface, I'm not trying to down anyone making alternate team headcanons for fun. That being said, it's just odd to me that people claim that placing them on different teams would suddenly "fix" their characters. Becoming a team was an integral part of their characterization, with each of them serving a unique purpose in one another’s growth. (This includes Sai too, though that may be a convo for another day.)

Like the title says, this was a starting "Let's get into it" post. I have more specific thoughts on this take, but these are my initial thoughts for now :).

Basically I'm changing some things in order to keep the core of the story the same while attempting to fix the plot holes and including a lot more representation since JK did a bad job at it ⭐

Part 1: Characters

Harry Potter

Half Indian half British (Indian dad James Potter and British mom Lily Evans Potter)

Brown skin (yellowish in the first year due to the mistreat from the Dursleys), green eyes, big curved nose, curly untamed black hair, the iconic round glasses, the ⚡ shaped scar (it doesn't look like actual lightning as some headcanons because it's the shape of the Avada Kedavra curse)

Has severe PTSD from unresolved trauma; some lingering depression (although he isn't aware of it)

Cis male (he/him)

Bisexual (but still oblivious as a brick)

Had a crush on Cedric Diggory at the same time as he crushed on Mei Hua* Chang (*previously named Cho, will get to that on her post)

Ended up in a polyamorous trio relationship with Cedric and Mei Hua* in fourth year

Started having a huge crush on Draco Malfoy around 6th year (in denial)

The parseltongue comes from James (snakes are important in Indian culture), therefore Harry doesn't lose that ability after Voldemort dies (idea by @bugboyremus)

The "black and white" mentality really is just awful. People and media are far more complex than that.

See, one thing I liked about the Barbie movie is that rather than saying "Barbie is a feminist icon" or "Barbie is fascist and sexist", it portrays both the positives and the negatives of the franchise. It was great because it portrayed women in a variety of occupations, including traditionally male ones. But it was also problematic because it carried a perpetuation of beauty standards. It's not saying one or the other is true, but that both are true.

It's very much the same with HP. We realize nowadays that there are a lot of problematic aspects of HP such as the portrayals of house elves, goblins, the naming of characters like Cho Chang, the way the ending didn't do anything about the other discrimination problems, etc etc. But it's not without it's good aspects. There IS a reason HP resonated with many marginalized kids, especially queer kids, back during its golden years- the main character was forced to live- quite literally- in a closet his whole life. People could relate to characters like Harry and Luna. Antagonists like Umbridge and the Death Eaters hit very close to home to how a lot of bigots are like today.

Literally a quote from the HP movies in fact: "We've all got light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."

THE SWEETEST SOUND ... THE DISCOGRAPHY OF SUG★R

debuting in 2016 with the album GIRL TO GIRL under Infinite Stage Entertainment, SUG★R is the group credited with the revival of the company, as they are the first ISE group that managed to break through and become a true success.

closely after this successful debut, SUG★R released their first mini album, SELFISH, in early 2017. this album continued their central concept of confidence and girl power, but added a bit more edge to their sound. title track As If It's Your Last topped international charts for nearly four weeks, and helped to make the group become known to western audiences. they released mini album ACT UP only four months later, with title track Go Hard helping the girls win their first ever music show award only a year after their debut.

ISE seemed determined to keep the girls busy, as only a few weeks after the release of this ep the group began the asia leg of what would later become their international SO SWEET tour. two months and ten tour dates later, the group began working on mini album Sixth Sense, which released at the end of 2018. the title track of this mini album received four music show awards, and the album sold over 200,000 copies in the pre-order phase alone. Sixth Sense was remarkably different from the group's prior releases, having a lighter pop sound. while fans clearly enjoyed the tracks, many netizens expressed a hope that SUG★R would return to their original sound in their next comeback.

with the completion of the Sixth Sense promotional period came the start of the north american leg of the SO SWEET tour, marking SUG★R as the first group under ISE to tour internationally. during this tour, during this tour in north america, the group also released their first ep, Lovesick Girls. the album was the first under ISE to be produced by american producers, and received mixed reviews from korean fans. though it sold nearly two thousand albums within the first week of sales, and became a fan-favorite.

in mid-2019 the group returned to korea to work on their second full album, UNAPOLOGETIC. around this time, fans became worried that the girls were being exploited by the company, seemingly not having had any downtime between their debut and the release of the album. still, it became one of SUG★Rs best-selling releases, with the album currently having over 3 million sales internationally. UNAPOLOGETIC was seen as being perfect for SUG★Rs concept, with strong messages of female empowerment in title tracks Iconic and My Satisfaction. during this era, a SO SWEET tour movie was released, as well as a series of unplugged recordings of SUG★Rs biggest hits that were posted to youtube.

in 2020 the group released an ep and a mini album back to back, with ep BAD/GOOD releasing four months after UNAPOLOGETIC, and mini album i TO i being released in the fall of that same year. both comebacks had a remarkably darker sound, and the promotional periods were criticized for the fact that the girls looked noticeably exhausted and irritable. after a seven-week promotional period for BAD/GOOD, the company announced that SUG★R would go on a hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time.

in 2023, after many fans had already accepted that SUG★R was likely to disband, the group had a comeback with album (DON'T) CALL ME. title track HIP became the most successful song of the year, winning 15 music show awards, making it the most popular song ever released under the company. the album has several memorable tracks, with Karma and Paint The Town especially becoming fan favorites. the album sold close to 4 million copies, and is SUG★Rs most popular release to date.

later that same year, the company underwent some major changes, with SUG★R again entering a minor hiatus as leader Hyejin became involved in a lawsuit against former ISE ceo Cho Hosung. during the spring of 2024, SUG★R finally had another comeback. Better Things is much more stripped down and sweet, and even the members themselves acknowledged that this was a deviation from their normal sound. the group did a promotional period for title track Better Things, and soon after also did a shorter promotional period for Life's Too Short. during the promotion for the album, the group had several pop-up cafes around korea in collaboration with angel-in-us coffee, releasing their own limited drinks to be sold at all angel-in-us coffee houses. this contributed to album sales, selling over 700,000 copies just within the first three weeks of release.

Tell me about the red dress campaign!

I got into Anastasia in 2021 :( there's barely any fandom left and even those who write fanfiction for it don't even talk about it anymore!

Tell me everything!!!

okay so. to talk about the year two marketing campaign, we need to talk about year one first.

the year one campaign focused more on the ~journey~ aspect of the show. anya wears her iconic maroon traveling coat, facing away from the audience and generally faceless, very mysterious. who is she? where is she going? what is she looking for? it inspired questions actually relevant to the themes of the show. and, as good marketing does, it gives us just enough info to capture our attention while also leaving us wanting more.

this coat is what she wears on the posters, playbill covers, everywhere on the marquee. it's the same structure that carried onto every other production's marketing strategy. and it makes sense! because she's traveling! of course she wears a traveling coat. for her Journey.

was it a perfect strategy? no. do i get chills every time i read "rumor, legend mystery" on the marquee over our beautiful broadhurst?? absolutely.

now. year two. derek leaves in april 2018, and in may they film a new ad with the current cast.

but the whole marketing strategy completely changes as well. it now consists of basically just the Red Dress™ and digitally airbrushed christy smirking at the camera and otherwise provides very little information about what the show is actually about.

this is an aside, but i feel like i should mention that when they shot and filmed this campaign, they styled christy's actual hair. she's not wearing a wig! slay!!!!! she went live that day and zadkins did a takeover on the anastasiabway account, i remember she looked absolutely stunning and was excited as she always is.

but still. the success of your marketing strategy (or the whole show for that matter 💀) should not rest on this woman's shoulders, as lovely as she is.

so here's my beef with the Red Dress campaign: it's such a shallow interpretation of the show. even though the red dress is iconic and linda cho deserves the praise for it, i don't think it represents who anya is or what she's looking for at all. the stage version of anastasia isn't a rags to riches story, nor a princess story, not really. it's about a girl looking for who she was. home love family etc etc etc. the red dress represents a life she ultimately chose to abandon in the end! so by limiting the imagery to just this dress she wears only in the last few minutes of the show, casual audience members may interpret this show as Just Another Princess Story competing with frozen that had just opened literally across the street, and choose to not see it. which is exactly what happened.

@asecretshekept has written a lot about this and understands marketing more than i do, so feel free to browse her blog too for more detailed posts.

not to mention like,,,, the silly financial decisions behind this?? they spent so much money to replace the marquee and stage door with the faces of people who left the show like six months later?? and then they replaced the stage door AGAIN when cody arrived january 2019. so silly. they could've stuck with the generally faceless campaign of year one to avoid this issue, but. i'm not in charge.

My top 5 ships, hmm? Let's start with the death note ones:

Lawlight: What can I say, enemies to lovers is my favorite. And these two are the best at it, so iconic that they could even be enemies and lovers.

Near/Sayu: Listen, I know these two don't ever meet in canon. But there is something so right about it. Sayu is Light's younger sister, Near can be considered the youngest of L's successors. They both have that younger sibling energy that fits so well together. They can even get together and bitch about their respective older sibling/guardian who are hopelessly stupid in love and then laugh about it too. I ship it.

L/Light/Misa: When two people obsessed with the same person take a look at their love rival and go "huh, I'm impressed at how you chase, we also have a lot in common, how about we get together and enlighten (heh) the one in denial?"

Remisa: Rem is Misa's constant companion and support and I believe if they had been given enough time together, Misa could have come to love and appreciate that too. This is, probably, the healthiest relationship in my ships, given that it's based on a solid foundation (of Gelus's sacrifice), and emotions over time.

A/B: I could have put mellodramatic here. The only reason A and B are here is because, well, they're a mystery with a lot of available fill-in-the-blanks-of-our-love-story. We know A died and B ran away soon after. It leads to conclusion that A mattered so much to B that B could drop everything Wammy's orphanage offered (the private education, the support structure, the connections, the money, a bright future, everything) just because A died. Imo, that takes a lot. A lot. The tragedy of their shrodinger's love story has me place them at fifth place over melodramatic.

Other ships:

I love death note but! I do have ships from other fandom that would be in the top 5 above if it weren't for the fact that most ppl expect to see a death note post on my blog. So, here's other ships below

Naruto and Sasuke (and Sakura): Using an 'and' instead of a slash or a ship name because apparently, the order of the slash is important? I think Naruto and Sasuke have a lot of chemistry and they should get together and elope together away from Konoha lmao. And and and, add Sakura in there. Sakura is determined, driven and obsessive enough to put even the biological Uchiha obsession and Uzumaki energy to shame. She wanted an Uchiha and she got herself an Uchiha, no matter a few literal Gods in her path. They all three deserve each other, to be together and have an happy ever after. Romantic or platonic, I ship them together as a Team <3

Tomarry: No, listen. In Chamber of Secrets, in the book, Harry calls Tom Riddle handsome three times. It's like he took one look at Diary Tom and forgot any word except 'handsome' existed. In Half Blood Prince, when Harry sees the pensive memories, his thoughts about Tom Riddle are all "he's going to grow up to be handsome", "even at this age, he was handsome", "his features were waxy and skin too pale but he was still a handsome man". You see? You get it? All Ginny gets is 'nice skin' and 'nice teeth', Cho Chang gets 'shiny hair'. Tom fucking Riddle gets "so handsome i forget any other word exists oh sorry you were saying Professor Dumbledore?" The movie has a lot of good scenes but it takes away Harry's internal narration that makes me me think he's so gay for Tom Riddle.

Sherliam: I don't know if you've seen Moriarty The Patriot. It's an anime adaptation of the Sherlock books with its own twist. I love it. And the Sherlock/Moriarty (William Moriarty, to be specific) is so blatant. They don't need an on-screen kiss, their chemistry is so good. Sherlock is determined to save William from himself and William is determined to martyr himself to save the world. It's so tender, I can't <3

Wangxian: wei wuxian and lan wanji have such character development, relationship development, such pining and longing and then such shamelessness, I love them. They're relationship goals, once they fix their communication misunderstanding.

Teen Wolf Movie Thoughts

Wow. Tyler Posey's acting got even worse. He had 10 long YEARS to take some acting classes and try to learn how to act decently for once, but the Teen Wolf Movie trailer proves that he took none. Tyler Posey still can't for shit. 

I’m so glad that Dylan O'Brien and Arden Cho refused to be in this dumpster fire of a Teen Wolf Movie and that Stiles Stilinski and Kira Yukimura finally dumped Scott's toxic ass. I'm also glad Scott's stepping aside and passing the torch to Eli Hale, the titular teen wolf of the movie. Now they finally might explore some of Derek and Lydia's trauma with Void Stiles/Dark Stiles and the Nogitsune, instead of wasting tons of screen-time on Scott’s whining and on Posey's shitty acting. 

Especially since Jeff Davis was never going to allow Scott to grow up, mature, or be held accountable. So unless any of that was going to happen, there wasn’t really anywhere to go with his character. (which is the same problem they’ve had with Scott McCall since the entire run of the show. From the moment Scott McCall became a Gary Stu and Jeff Davis' self insert, he just became this stagnant power fantasy that stood out like a sore thumb among all the other characters, who did change, grow up and mature.) And Posey brought nothing to the table.

There’s just so much potential still to go with Teen Wolf, now that it's no longer linked to Scott McCall.

Trying to bring back the Nogitsune without Stiles Stilinski – the Nogitsune's Vessel and the unique, iconic character the Nogitsune & Void Stiles story belongs to and revolves around – and without Kira Yukimura – whose family was tied to the Nogitsune and helped Stiles when he was possessed – makes no sense and is extremely disrespectful towards Stiles and Kira. It's just a cheap imitation of the Void Stiles storyline... without the actor and character who made it powerful and successful in Teen Wolf Season 3B. 

The Teen Wolf Movie is going to flop, and everyone is rightfully hating on Jeff Davis and his nepotism baby Tyler Posey (who used his producer credit to involve his dad and brother in the Teen Wolf Movie, just like his dad had used his connection and friendship with Jeff Davis to make him have the role of Scott McCall, despite the fact that Jeff's the only who pushed Posey for the role of Scott because no one else from the TW production was even remotely impressed with Posey's atrocious acting.) This revival will go down in history alright; but not in the way Tyler Posey and Jeff Davis wanted. Serves them right for harassing Dylan and for treating Arden like trash

Remember when Rowling named an Asian character fucking Cho Chang? Both of which are last names, and not even from the same fucking Asian-country. I think one is Korean and the other Chinese. I mean, I've named some of my Chinese characters weirdly, but at least they were actual names, and my mistake was misspelling and messing up between M and F names, not calling them something like "Ping Pong".

there's that, and don't forget other iconic similarly dogshit or stereotypical names like seamus, padma, etc, or even worse

Why did you choose your url?

My Tumblr account is supposed to be an English version of Los Sims de Ana, my Spanish blog in Blogger.

How long have you’ve been on Tumblr?

I started it in August, 2013. That’s almost 9 years, but I was inactive from April 2015 to February 2017.

Do you have a queue tag?

I'm afraid I don't know what a queue tag is, lol.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I wanted to have a blog in English, plus I noticed that Tumblr had a very lively TS3  community, so here I am. 😊

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

My icon is a pic of Tony and Cassandra, from my Island Paradise story/gameplay. I chose them because they’re my favorite sim couple ever. <3

Why did you choose your header?

I have a pic of Sunset Valley as a header now, but I try to change it often. I use pics of Oasis Landing, Island Paradise and Hidden Springs as well. Those are the four worlds where my present stories take place.

What’s your post with the most notes?

No idea, but it’s probably one about Dale and Kelly, from my The Cho Brothers gameplay.

How many mutuals do you have?

I would tell you if I knew where to check that. For me mutuals are the simmers I truly interact with, you know, the ones that comment on my posts and I comment on theirs. I don’t have many, probably ten or less.

How many followers do you have?

255 after the latest Tumblr purge. (I wish I had more, but I admit I’m not the queen of social skills).

How many people do you follow?

526 last time I checked.

Have you ever made a shit post?

I don’t think so.

Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once?

I would say yes, twice. Neither of the two happened here on Tumblr.

The first one happened on a Sims 2 forum where I used to be, it wasn't a fight as such but a heated argument. I clarify that I wasn't the one who got in trouble, rather I was defending a friend who had a problem with the admins. We couldn't come to an understanding and they took away my Artist badge, (a symbolic distinction given to some members). I took down my pics and stories and I left the forums. No one won, we all lost because we couldn't sort our disagreements.

The second one we could call a fight, small but it was, it happened in Twitter when I tried to open an account of Los Sims de Ana on that platform. As soon as I started it, another simmer came out to say that the account name was already hers, that I had copied it or something like that. I was shocked!  Yes, our names were similar, they were only different in one letter, but not the same, we were definitely not clones. No one won, I guess, cause in the end each one kept her own name. From my side there are no hard feelings, it was an unpleasant moment and somehow scary, but now everything is fine for both of us-- I hope.

Sorry I don’t give more details but these are painful memories that still hurt a bit. I don't like fights, much less over a game.

How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts?

I don't reblog out of obligation, especially if it's about political stances or anything to do with delicate topics, my blog is only about The Sims 3. I sometimes reblog (voluntarily) posts from other simmers mostly of custom content that might interest or be useful to any of my mutuals. But that's about it.

Do you like tag games?

Yes I do! But sometimes I don't have enough time to answer them. Plus I get a little anxious talking personal stuff. 😅

Which of your mutuals do you think is Tumblr famous?

Hmm, fame is a tricky thing nowadays. Anybody can be famous in the internet. I think ‘fame’ in Simblr is more like popularity and has to do with certain skills like editing pics or creating custom content. In any case, I have my own ‘famous’ simmers among my mutuals, mostly writers and story tellers whose work I admire and love. They're my favorites and they're certainly famous for me. 💚

Do you have a crush on a mutual?

Not exactly on a mutual, but on their stories and/or their characters, writing, pictures, creations, etc. They're a few, all of them very talented. I’m not going to name names, but I think they know who they are. 😉
