A very good space ship engineer with one brain cell that is working so hard!
I like to think he tinkers with making specialized attachments for his prosthetic arm (like a welding attachment and other tools)

You earned those scars. You survived. The marks that cover your body are an outward representation of your inner strength. Those marks represent the opposite of weakness, and anyone who thinks differently is an idiot.

I really enjoyed the writing in the Clecanian book series and honestly I 100% recommend y’all to read it! I personally read them all and in chronological order but you can totally read them as standalones. Here is how I would rate them:
1. Using Fejo - currently the last book out, but I think I’ve enjoyed it the most. I do love cocky bastard characters and I like the dynamic between the main two characters. The ending is a bit rushed imo, but I just loved the characters too much to care hh.
2. Choosing Theo - this is the first book in the series and again, I do like my men brooding and grumpy. The characters have amazing chemistry and I think it’s a really good first book that just made me want to read more.
3. Freeing Luka - this was sweet and soft and just very lovely. They basically find out they’re soulmates at the beginning of the book, but they decide to take is slow.
4. Tempting Auzed - I wasn’t really invested in this story, but the writing is still great. It’s like fwb to lovers with lots of angst.
5. Saving Verakko - I absolutely adore the female character and she is so badass, but I don’t fuck with the miscommunication trope so eh

The problem with that expression is that no woman should wish for a knight in shining armor. A knight with shining armor has probably never been to war. They've never fought or been hurt. If you want a strong man who can protect you, then you should hope for a knight in dented, scratched, rusted armor. That knight has fought and survived.

Arcade my friend Arcade! Maybe Here for Sweethearts spoilers.
How did you go about choosing the order of chapters in HFSH? It felt like Netina starts the game with more typical dating sim options working on her, while later characters tend to break that expectation and put you in trickier situations. Was that intentional, or was the order of students already set based on their existing relationships to each other and the story?
Kriggit my friend Kriggit! :D
I definitely based the chapters moreso around how I felt the characters might work best in the story, but putting Netina and Theo at the start was very intentional as I felt they were characters who fit into the expectations of the genre well! (Among other reasons)
Netina seemed like the perfect choice to begin with because she plays the role of a sweet and bubbly girl well and she made a lot of sense to be the one to introduce the player to the school. Netina always introduces herself to everyone lightheartedly regardless of true feelings towards them. It is typical of the genre but it also worked because Netina's vicious side is one that many students already know about, so if the player had met Netina later down the line they might have already heard things about her from other characters mentioning it.
Theo worked really well not only juxtaposed beside Netina, (bubbly girl who is secretly mean vs mean-seeming boy who's actually sweet(also pretty genre-fitting)) but also because he was a familiar character that many would have already recognized. And him looking so different from his Cemetery Mary counterpart really helped to convey that like "These characters are all generally around the same age as one another, they're just teenagers in this game"
But now I'm getting to tangent-ing haha!
But yes chapters in general were more based on how the story would play out rather than regards for how tricky success would be in any given route!
