Isogai Yuuma from the Korotan B novel, but in Chiba's POV

Isogai quietly walked up to a table where one of the customers was absorbed in gambling, took their jacket, and quickly put it on. Then, without hesitation, Isogai approached a beautiful woman at another table and struck up a conversation with her.

“You’re such a cool guy, Isogai.”

Chiba couldn’t help but admire Isogai after seeing everything from afar.

Mind you, Karma was next to him the whole time he was not-so-subtly gay panicking for Isogai in the middle of a mission. Bet he looked at him and was like "and what are you gonna do about it huh" 😭

Bc of this, I'm so convinced that Chiba has some sort of dirt on him cuz there's no way the tomato head wouldn't tease him about this 💀

I'm dead. I had three classes, and I can't help keep myself awake any longer.

The only thing that I will say is that I finally read a book! And I was really surprised because I read over 70 pages; for someone who doesn't ever read a book for years, that's a success! I still remember all that I read.

Well, I need to sleep right now. Tomorrow (Saturday) I have a lot of things to do, phew.

Part of me wants to teach just so I can appreciate the charm of a classroom forever

I wanna take a phonetics class so bad!! 😭😭😭

A couple times in the past few months I've found myself reading about various English dialects, which has been really interesting, but struggling to read written descriptions of sounds and my lack of understanding of the IPA has definitely slowed me down!!

(Though part of me IS a little scared that once I can identify the sounds I make when I speak, I'll become self-conscious and unable to speak naturally 😅 kind of like that "becoming aware of your tongue" thing. Like, "is this how I actually talk, or is this how I think I'm supposed to talk?" But I guess that's pretty silly; I have been talking for a long time, and I'm pretty good at it!)

(I've also always feared that if I moved somewhere with a drastically different accent or dialect to my own, that I'd end up, like, artificially mirroring that, and lose my natural way of speaking.)

Not a ship send, but just wanted to say I’m glad I found this blog. I have come across other blogs similar to this, but they tend to allow ALL ships to be voted on, including the popular/canon ones.

And those ships tend to bring in the kind of shippers that aren’t just mindful of their words. I placed in a few really rare pairs ships to be voted on, and while not out right insulting, they still leave comments that you know can hear the judgement. On this one, this blog seems more relaxed and you can just have fun with coming up with ships. Some I like, some I don’t, but I at least feel comfortable with sharing ships here.

So, all that to say, thanks for making this blog and reminding us what shipping is supposed to be about:

I'm so glad so many people enjoy this blog! Popular ships get a lot of attention, which is fine, they deserve it just as much, but sometimes I do want to see some love for rarepairs without judgement and without having to be like "hear me out I swear this is good" or something. I'm very glad I'm able to create a space for that.
