Yknow what we don't talk about? The fact that, when you think about it, Zane was wearing the same gi for like 50 years. The suit he was wearing when he got banished seems to be the same one underneath his armor.

True, it's possible he has an identical replica of his clothes tailored - but that might be difficult, seeing as how his hand had been frozen to the staff this whole time with no indication it had left his grasp in all this time. Either way, I personally believe the simplest answer is that Zane was wearing the same outfit all this time. Something something Occam's Razor.

Which raises the question: did he continue to wear that same gi even after coming home? Did he replace it with an identical gi? How does he feel wearing an outfit so similar to what he wore for 50 years? Is that why he seems to take more of an interest in fashion and attire in later seasons? Or perhaps, is it a comfort to him? Does he hate himself for feeling that way, for desiring the sameness of the gi he wore as he slaughtered innocents?

i was a leash kid as well. i learned how to unbuckle my stroller and would book it. the old round clothing racks used to be my favourite hiding places: i’d pretend they were showers?? not sure why. by the i grew out of it i had a little brother who was the same. i once spear tackled him in the middle of the auckland airport lmao

it was kinda hilarious because once when i was little my aunt was visiting and she has three kids, and they all clung to her side. so she turned to my first-time mother and said “don’t worry, she won’t go anywhere. she’ll stay by your side” and yeah no. the second my hand was let go of i was off.

the harness wasn’t even especially cute because it was the early 2000s. but yup. leash kid. every person i’ve told said it makes sense which. not sure what it means but go off i guess

I played in clothing racks too as a kid. Never usually too out of sight of my mom but it was so fun lol. Something about walking through the clothes was so nice. Very good sensory experience.

If I want cute fancy clothes, fine, make me pay for them, whatever. But a basic white t-shirt is something I should just own. I should get one for free as part of existing

This also goes for a plain button up shirt and a pair of blue jeans but nothing feels like a bigger waste of money than a plain t-shirt
