It’s so interesting to see how some ships are dominant on different platforms (YouTube/TikTok/Instagram/Tumblr/e.c.t). It doesn’t even matter how new or old they are like there are some newer ships that really don’t have a presence on TikTok but some from like the 2000s that have so much content. There are some ships that cross every platform like Destiel and some that I that I haven’t really been able to find much content for anywhere other than YouTube e.g Coldflash (The Flash T.V show). And there are some ships that are just a product of their time and if you weren’t in the fandom at that time you’ll probably never understand why and how they got so popular.

(I’m talking more about edits and amvs in this, not fanfic🙃)

Has anyone made a compilation of Barry being put in compromising position be it in a cover or in the issue itself? I'm trying to see something. For research.

Making a thorough compilation of every time Barry was put in a compromising position is just impossible because it happens in EVERY SINGLE STORY. There are some worse than others sure, but sometimes it's so diffuse that you can't go five pages without seeing him tied up suggestively, or held down sensually, or chained in a very kinky way.

I'm going to mostly focus on covers here because even just one single issue would make me fill tumblr's imagine limit lmao

Our first event of the year is a mini weekend event in which everyone can share fanworks based on a selection of prompts chosen by all of you!

Definitely my favorite out of the three. I’d still rather have Coldflash nine times out of ten but there are very specific scenarios where this does work for me!

Coldwestallen:

This is one of those ships that I don’t really have super strong feelings about, but I *am* kind of intrigued about how this would work. Sometimes I see posts about it from my lovely mutuals and I’m like, hmm, maybe.

Westhallen:

I just do not care about this one AT ALL. I’d never even read a fic about it because I don’t ship Barry with either Iris or Eddie, so this has absolutely zero appeal for me. Sorry, lol.

my favorite coldflash episode is probably infantino street. it felt like the writers showing us a glimpse of what could've been in an almost painful way but i just love watching them work together and it was a beautiful farewell to a beloved character that acknowledged how important these two were for each other. we could've had it all... but at least we'll always have infantino street

my favorite barry episode is a tie between 'the runaway dinosaur' and 'the last temptation of barry allen' (tho i haven't watched the show beyond s6 yet so always subject to change)

my favorite len episode... hm. for the flash it's probably 'going rogue' bc i love when he gets to be an asshole and gets away w it 😂 i mean, i know it's controversial but i also love 'doomworld' bc its so fun to see wentworth give us his best disney villain acting 😆 i actually hate most of s1 of legends (big l for me that this is the only season my fave character is in and i can barely stand to watch it...) so if i had to pick one it'd probably be 'white knights' just bc it's low stakes fun watching len be his little con-artist self

there are so many great coldflash fics out there honestly, i remember saying i was gonna make a rec list bc i specifically wanted to rec more recent fics... but then i didn't 😅 so anyway, my fave fic is 'tell me what you want me to say' by giraffeter (here), i actually had to stop myself from reading it over and over again bc i was worried i was going to make myself sick of it which would be an absolute tragedy bc that fic is so amazing and addictive, i could gush it all day like a schoolkid with a crush 😍

bonus point for any fic crestfaller has ever written for the ship, i cannot pick one, her work always makes me go stare at the ceiling for a little while it is *that* good (edit bc i forgot to link them but you can find her coldflash fics here)

I made another collage piece!

It’s more Sebklaine themed this time because I can never decide whether I like Seblaine, Klaine or Kurtbastian the most so I figured why not all three?

I couldn’t figure out any certain theme because there’s so little canon knowledge about the three of them so I had a bit of fun with it (a.k.a. I showered the work in birds, flowers, patterns and quotes that fit the vibe)
