Hello, hello my little lovelies,

So much to catch up on these days! Everyone all at once seemed to have some type of news to share with me. 

You all know being on the ice is meant to keep us all cool and level-headed, right? There were so many punches thrown at the ice skating event, not just once, not even twice, but three whole times. Eagan Connolly punched Huntsville Daily’s very own Samuel Ahn over what was reportedly, and unsurprisingly, something to do with that missing brother of hers again. If she keeps that attitude up no one is going to be willing to assist her. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, sweetheart. 

Seeming to take a cue from her is that wildchild from the Westfall family, Esther Westfall, who is just as short tempered as ever. They were seen punching one Eldon Harcourt, though he seemed to take it decently well, and didn’t engage into a full brawl. The same can’t be said for Joey Albright who fully attacked Louis Ryan and had to be pulled off him. Not exactly the behavior you’d expect from everyone’s favorite heartthrob but it seems love makes fools of us all. Let’s just hope that Hope Macgillivray is worth it. 

However, not everyone at the ice skating party was quick to come to blows. It seems that there are at least some of you who would rather make love than war. Jackson Miller was spotted getting cozy with Lavender Parsons, ending in what was apparently quite the steamy kiss, if my sources are to be believed. Now I know that some readers may be scandalized by this news, but I for one think it is wonderful that after everything she went through with her mother’s disappearance last year, Miss Parsons seems to be coming into her own as a young woman. All I can say is, be careful out there, men of Huntsville! There’s a new heartbreaker on the rise.

Here’s a toast to one town event being mostly a success with no serious incidents. Hopefully this is the start of a new and lighter year for all of us.

since the flood, cole had stuck closely by addison's side. it was the only way she didn't panic thinking about losing them in some way, even if they'd been together when the last disaster had happened. but it wasn't just the flood that kept cole's mind reeling, and as the couple strolled slowly through the trading post, she reached out to idly slip her fingers through addison's, pressing closer to them until her lips found their shoulder.

This was not Kirby's usual scene - but it was a place Cole was comfortable. He never really got back into live music after losing hearing in one ear since the environment usually made it harder for him to hear the person he was with, but a small show at the local bar seemed safe enough.

BIOGRAPHY.

born the second youngest of seven children. their father was a military man who fell in love with a woman while on assignment. both of them wanted a large family and that is exactly what they had.

it was barely a year after remi was born, cole came into the world and after a pair of catholic twins, their parents decided to stop. if they hadn't had their hands full before, they certainly were then. easily each other's partners in crime and causing chaos in their wake.

for one of their birthdays they were gifted a guitar after being found playing a neighbor kids and being excited about it. this turned them further toward music and enhanced their passion for it. from the age of eight they spent everyday practicing guitar, sometimes for hours at a time.

music was their lifeblood. which in school they often felt like a loner and an outcast, they didn’t keep friends for long or make friends at all in some cases which. maybe it was due to moving around but he figured something was wrong with them.

they would go through long bouts of depression, getting highs and lows at random. it made it hard to build any sort of confidence. he tried to tell himself it didn't matter. and eventually it didn't, eventually he joined a band and actually managed to make it through high school.

the band became like remi's second family and he thought it was a fever dream when they started to get regular gigs. he was able to make a living as a musician and when his siblings came to join them in dallas-fort worth it felt like things were right in the world

they still struggle with impulse problems, doing reckless stunts on stage and causing chaos off stage. bouts of depression and mania tend to steer them toward self-medicating but recently they've been looking into talking to someone about it though they haven't taken that leap quite yet.

remi is chaotic, but they love their friends and their family and while they can cause some trouble, for the most part they are here to make music and have a good time

HEADCANONS.

remi has undiagnosed borderline personality disorder which can cause bouts of depression and mania

they regularly do crazy stunts on stage, which has included climbing the rafters and playing the guitar hanging upside down, diving into the crowd, and doing flips off the risers.

Lance already felt like he had to make up for lost time; the constant disasters happening around town really didn't help. So he had been seeking out Cole's company more than usual, though he would brush it off if asked.
