Hello, hello my little lovelies,

So much to catch up on these days! Everyone all at once seemed to have some type of news to share with me. 

You all know being on the ice is meant to keep us all cool and level-headed, right? There were so many punches thrown at the ice skating event, not just once, not even twice, but three whole times. Eagan Connolly punched Huntsville Daily’s very own Samuel Ahn over what was reportedly, and unsurprisingly, something to do with that missing brother of hers again. If she keeps that attitude up no one is going to be willing to assist her. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, sweetheart. 

Seeming to take a cue from her is that wildchild from the Westfall family, Esther Westfall, who is just as short tempered as ever. They were seen punching one Eldon Harcourt, though he seemed to take it decently well, and didn’t engage into a full brawl. The same can’t be said for Joey Albright who fully attacked Louis Ryan and had to be pulled off him. Not exactly the behavior you’d expect from everyone’s favorite heartthrob but it seems love makes fools of us all. Let’s just hope that Hope Macgillivray is worth it. 

However, not everyone at the ice skating party was quick to come to blows. It seems that there are at least some of you who would rather make love than war. Jackson Miller was spotted getting cozy with Lavender Parsons, ending in what was apparently quite the steamy kiss, if my sources are to be believed. Now I know that some readers may be scandalized by this news, but I for one think it is wonderful that after everything she went through with her mother’s disappearance last year, Miss Parsons seems to be coming into her own as a young woman. All I can say is, be careful out there, men of Huntsville! There’s a new heartbreaker on the rise.

Here’s a toast to one town event being mostly a success with no serious incidents. Hopefully this is the start of a new and lighter year for all of us.

Nico Garcia has been going around saying he’s going to be a dad? I wonder who he knocked up. Could be half the town from the way he’s been getting around. Kingdom Ponies!! Sea Salt trio edition!! 🩵

Last post, I got requests for design notes so first off, all Organization members are branded with the Recusant's sigil. For ponies, this replaces their cutie mark.

Axel being a griffon layers with his insecurities, he doesn’t have a mark like ponies do so he worries he will be forgettable, especially after leaving the organization. His name reflects this; an old memory that’s fading at the edges. Vignette also means to recount evocatively with nostalgia.

Roxas’ design is a fusion of Sora (Easy Breezy) and Ven’s (Windfall) most notably he gets Sora’s crown shaped fur tuffs. His cutie mark is supposed to emulate his X shaped symbol and he’s the only character with mismatched hoof tones. His name is very literal but as an idiom, it reflects Roxas’ role in the organization!

Pareidolia is the act of seeing faces in things that do not. She’s also a changeling! Changelings feed off of energy and affection so just like in Days, she’s accidentally absorbing Roxas throughout. Reformed changelings are very colorful so I based the tones on Thalassa shells. She also gets a pony form-just like white lies, she resembles pinky promise. Together they both make up Kairi’s alicorn status (Xion pegasus Namine unicorn) Xions main seashell on her mark is shaped like the organization symbol. In the story, her cutie mark would change depending on who sees her, before she establishes her identity

Abby had seen Georgie talking to the young paramedic at the ball, had noticed that he seemed to make Georgie smile, which was a big deal. She knew that Georgie was trying to maintain her slut era and not get into any relationships right now, but Abby was a meddler with her best friend's best interests at heart, so she approached the fire station with a Tupperware full of cookies and stepped into the open truck bay with a curious glance around.

"Hello? Anyone on shift? Someone named after a Kingdom's Hearts character maybe?"

Adventure is Out There!

Sora had never ventured too far out of Fanalea, let alone Deep Fanalea. He was captivated by the beauty the forest had to offer. The trees towered over him, the delicate flowers were faintly fragrant, and the birds chirped harmoniously.

Little woah's and aaah's escaped Sora's lips as he tagged along behind his new friend Zelda. She had asked him to join her in searching for some sort of hippo griffon? No... That's not it.

"Hey, Zelda?" Sora asked. He jogged a bit to catch up to her before putting his hands on the back of his head. "What exactly are we looking for?" Although he probably wasn't as curious as his Hylian friend, he was still curious and interested in her motives anyway.

I don't publish photos of her, because I don't have her permission and I don't know if she wants to be known or not, but if you want to get an idea she is not a purebred dog, her parents were a podenco and a griffon, has a #b3753f color and have a really fluffy fur. 😍

Happy 29th Birthday, Hanae Natsuki-san!! | 26.06.20

Gahh I’m late. Just found out Hanae’s birthday was on June 26 (so many seiyuus having their birthday on June). In this post, let me share my current top 5 favorite Hanae roles I have had the chance to encounter ^^

#1: 9S - NieR: Automata

The sole reason why I’m creating this post. I’m not much of a Hanae fan. There was a point in time when I was, until my days got oversaturated with Hanae anime (kind of like how I’m not much of a Matsuoka Yoshitsugu fan). But I’ve gotta say, give an emotionally broken anime to Hanae Natsuki, and he’s sure to rip your heart out. 9S is only an example of this seiyuu’s emotion range, down-spiraling from the easygoing android into sheer madness, and he’s not the only character Hanae has had to display such range. Hanae as 9S simply broke me.

#2: Arima Kousei - Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso

The second Hanae role I encountered, around the time when Hanae was starting to get more recognition and landing more leading roles. Beautiful art and beautiful music, I’m sad to say that I’m one of the people who didn’t think Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso was all that, though I was in love with it when I first started it. The animation seemed flawless and the classical music was amazing (I’m a sucker for classical music). Maybe because the progression was too slow, and after catching up to the manga, the anime just lost its flair. Still, I will never forget Kousei :3

#3: Kaneki Ken - Tokyo Ghoul

One cannot simply talk about Hanae Natsuki without mentioning Kaneki Ken. The anime wasn’t good. I went into it knowing how big the fandom was, but sometimes, I’m even more insecure about anime with huge fandom backing it. The first season was all right, but the barely good pacing it had fell apart in the following season where the story was all over the place. It was a mess. Still, Hanae’s Kaneki Ken was definitely one of his best performances, and is probably the most memorable to me. I mentioned another character like 9S. This is him. They’re different, but I will never forget Hanae’s screams at the end of season 1 as Kaneki plunged into madness. (also, Tokyo Ghoul introduced me to amazarashi, so that’s something :3)

#4: Biscuit Griffon - Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

I didn’t find a gif of him alone T_T A side character and the voice of reason, Biscuit was probably my favorite character among the Gundam IBO cast. Soft and caring, he’s the one everyone often went to with their problems, including Orga. Not much to say, as I don’t remember much but the fact that I loved him (and I only just remembered that Hanae voiced him lol)

#5: Kaizuka Inaho - Aldnoah.Zero

My first Hanae role! I loved him after watching Aldnoah.Zero. The distant “prodigy” protagonist who doesn’t talk much. I dropped the second season halfway through though, haha. 

Honorable Mentions

Katsuragi Maki - Hoshiai no Sora

The most recent Hanae anime I saw. The anime has a lot of flaws, the major being that it doesn’t seem to know which direction to take. We have the typical “bad club turns good” idea, then we have the “people with dysfunctional families find comfort in each other” idea. It’s clear the director wanted to go with the latter. Would’ve turned out much better if he had dropped the former. The main problem was that the staff wanted to focus on both, but it sacrificed the emotional and character depth the anime could’ve gotten if they had only focused on one. Maybe, if the anime had been longer, say a two-cour anime, they could’ve given it justice. 

Sakishima Hikari - Nagi no Asukara

I haven’t seen NagiAsu... It was around the time when I was tired of hearing Hanae’s voice every where that I couldn’t focus on the anime every time I hear Hikari (and Ishikai’s character) spoke lol. It’s still on my to-watch list, though. 

Kamado Tanjirou - Kimetsu no Yaiba

I felt compelled to add Tanjirou, even though I haven’t seen the anime ^^; saw 4 episodes, and felt it too shounen for me ^^; I’m getting old... Too much monologue, not enough action (and in action, I mean story). The art and animation were out of this world though. Still, Hanae’s the main lead of this mega popular franchise, so I’ll put him on the list. maybe one day i’ll try to watch more of it. def want to see what the fuss was all about with Kamado Tanjirou no Uta

Leur destinée étant de combattre le mal qui gangrène le continent d’Isédia, renverser Morganne n’est que la première tâche qui sera imposée aux guerriers.

Mon avis :

Excellent roman fantastique! Une chance par contre qu’à la fin du roman, il y a un lexique qui explique certain terme et donne des liens entre tous les personnages. Cette brique peut devenir mélangeant, surtout si on prend une longue pause de la lecture. C’est un bel univers à embarquer. Le fantastique, habituellement, n’est pas le style que je préconise en premier lieu. Cependant, celui-ci, j’avais eu des bons commentaires et s’est avéré vrai. Les personnages sont polarisants, ils sont attachants, tout comme certains sont tellement détestables. Je me suis procurée le deuxième tome que je vais lire avidement!
