Telling Palestinian people, Gazans, to “relocate” is genocide.

We are talking about the outright removal idk people - by threat of force or outright force - from their homes. This is approximately 600,000 adults, and 400,000 children.

hi i have a bit of an odd question and im so sorry if it comes off as rude at all!

ive seen a lot of your posts about canes, i have hEDS and chronic pain and im trying to convice my mom and my doctor to let me have a mobility aid. my mom is very adamant that i dont need a cane because i dont have balance issues, but my knees and ankles are pretty much always aching. i was just wondering if you think a cane would help with chronic pain or if i should look into other aids?

Canes can help chronic pain, they are not guaranteed to help you specifically

You can get a cane for ~$30 at most stores and try it out

A physical therapist and/or a specialist in rheum will most likely know more than your PCP about your specific pain and situation

Parents often don't want to admit their kids have health problems

This is nothing about you specifically, you were not rude, I just get a lot of questions like this in my inbox. It becomes draining to get so many asks with people's personal vents about their medical issues or religious trauma or the homophobic situations they're living in.

While I would love if I could help people, I am not a doctor. I am not a therapist, I am not a social worker. I'm just a random artist on the internet who has EDS and is barely getting by myself.

I prefer to keep my blog about my art and about my work, not about my disability. It is relevant to my work, of course, and discussing my conditions in vague terms in how they relate to themes present in my work is more than okay, but I prefer this space to be dedicated to my work and getting to engage with my readers through my stories.

Personal information about my pain, my medications, my tests my doctors and my trauma are not things I want to make public.

Seeing fans of the Alex Rider series nowadays is so so fun for me as someone who read the books before the series came out and before the books were even known outside a tiny fanbase, like I never met anyone who liked the books as well. I’ve never had something like that, and it’s great being so smug like “hehehe I liked that character before any of you did”

LIFE UPDATES

I went to emo night with some friends and my roommate. Roommate was excited and he even let me put eyeliner on him and choose his outfit and everything. A couple hours in, I get in a political debate/fight with some guy outside the bar that lasts over an hour. At one point I apparently (or so I’m told) called the guy a pedophile?? he was younger than me. Eventually, I went back to his place and we slept together

I listened to the new Green Day album and I have thoughts on it. I will eventually post these thoughts. I really, really, like Bobby Sox.

I bought my first pair of high heels for NYE but during the NYE party I was sitting in a high-top chair and one of my heels got caught on a bar of the chair and I toppled over and ate shit and half of my body was bruised for a week.

I have over 200 unread text messages

I live with 2 normie straight men now and I think I prefer it? I’ve always lived with women and/or other gay people, but I am fine living in a Mojo Dojo Casa House atm.

I am still Offline™, for the most part, and my brain is still healing more and more every day 💖🩸✨ I literally feel less mentally ill

I haven’t gotten any tattoos because I’m saving up for a car :( downside of mental stability is long-term planning

However my friend is buying me a tattoo gun and is going to let me do her coverups :)

I made a really fancy and tasty macaroni and cheese. It started as a roux and everything. It was decadent. It was the best thing I have ever made in my whole life. I left it uncovered, and the mouse who lives in my stove (he doesn’t even pay rent either -_-) helped himself to it and I had to throw it all away after having, like, 1/2 a cup of it. I was a little devastated..
