This past month a group of my talented friends (check out the guys on their socials here: VeePlusCtrl, @martvy-jpeg,) and I have been working on a short horror game based around christian iconography for a monthly game jam! We ourselves are not very religious at all but the christian trauma made us think about some interesting horror elements. Here are some of my concepts and sprites I did for the game :-)

Have you ever wanted to play a cute monster taming game with lots of love and heart put into every inch and corner of it by a Team of fantastically talented artists?

Me too!! Too bad it got cancelled literally a few weeks before it was going to be anounced!

Artist Nicholas Kole on twitter along with many other talented artists have been sharing their work of nearly 4 years on this game. I cant imagine the heartbreak of working so hard on this project only for it to get canceled right before Release and everyone on the Team to get laid off.

It was meant to be an open world, minecraft inspired builder, with all sorts of unique creatures with various skins, variations depending on biomes, and even petting animations. That you could tame! It also had a large amount of beautiful and unique character customization. Here's some of the art ( NOT MY ART ) for the project!

Apparently alot of this game was near finished, coded, etc! ( ART ABOVE IS BY NICHOLAS KOLE , JOHANNES FIGLHUBER, INES MARSAL, AND MARIA LOBANOVA )

I dont know if the artists can look into crowdfunding ( the Studio still may own the IP ) , but myself and a few others have been trying to get the hashtag #bringbackprojectdragon get some traction on twitter! Maybe if the internet raises enough stink, the Studio might pay attention. Im not sure how likely that is but I desperately want thus game to exsist, it would be a dream game for me and many others im sure. So please consider joining in if you have a twitter.

OPERATION: ROBLOXIA

I've been working on some ref sheets and concepts for Operation: Robloxia, a stealth, point and click/decision based first person game that has first person shooter sections. Feel free to ask some questions

Presenting the cops with a very special guest❤️ This project hasn’t been progressing as much as I want it to lately, partly because my regular job is taking all my time and energy, plus, I’m struggling to keep up my motivation. I have so many other great ideas I'd love to start working on, and I also really wanna start doing commissions too, but can’t until this project is about 90% finished. With all that, I’m not going to lie, finishing this has been a struggle. But hey, at least another one is down, which means only the 212th is left (then comes another struggle with the trailer animation😂)

Here are some costume sheets from my Phantom of the Opera thesis project! I decided to give each character a “default” outfit, a masquerade outfit, and an alternative outfit.

Character Art I did for Where the Water Tastes like Wine, I was the principal artist on this project. it was so long ago. Some of these images are 8 years old. Absolutely crazy.

GLITZ (Glittering Liquid Internal Titration Zone) and GLAM (Grape Liquid Aeration Machinery) are modified Typhoon units that can be found in the Lounges of the THESPA-02. GLITZ units carry champagne for the esteemed guests of the luxurious cruise liner, and their carbonation technology keeps drinks fresh and fizzy. When it’s time to celebrate, a GLITZ unit will be the first to pop bottles and toast to good health! 🥂 GLAM units carry wine, their internal systems always swilling, decanting, and showing off the beautiful robe and decadent flavours of today’s wine. A sommelier through and through, GLAM units will talk for hours about a wine’s history, production, and of course, price. 🍷 These two seemed to be malfunctioning even before the crash, and with time their processes dulled, speech slurred, and they are - quite frankly - a little bit tipsy.

That's right!! FINALLY, the demo is officially live!

Opus Torrentia is a surreal exploration RPG with inspiration from the classics such as Earthbound and Yume Nikki. (it’s an RPGmaker game, what do you want from me?) It has strange environments, curious characters, fun abilities, puzzles, minigames and secretssss!

The demo is testing at about 45mins - an hour to finish. Please check it out and let me know what you think!!!

A little piece of visual development for Rock & Roar 2, featuring the new coyote version of Jimmy (ICYMI - this happened a while back and I explained my reasoning on Instagram Stories and the Rock & Roar Discord server) and his best friend, Kyle the vulture. These two live in a used taco truck they bought for cheap on Craigslist. 🌮

I’ve got a lot more vis dev on the way, all of it inspired by real locations right here in LA! Also included Kyle’s new design (species is now a black vulture) which had only been available to Patreon subscribers!
