New clone OC: his name is monte cristo. Though not strictly speaking force sensitive, he has an uncanny ability to appear whenever the plot is overcomplicated. He doesn't seem to know why or how he turns up, but by golly, he's going to make this absurdly unlikely plan go off without a hitch through a combination of stage makeup disguises, more credits than he knows what to do with, and sheer luck.

You said in a podcast you listen to "The Count of Monty Cristo" Musical. Out of Curiosity, what is your favorite song?? (Mime is a three way (depending on mood) between "I know his eye/this man is dead," "A Story Told," and "Hell to your Doorstep")
Hell to your Doorstep fuckin slaps, but Every Day A Little Death is so fun!

FALLOUT (TV SERIES, 2024): Episode One
Feel free to edit the sentences as you need.
NSFW TW: Mentions of incest, sex, violence
“What’d they say, [name]?”
“That I’m lucky to have such a good helper like you.”
“You know, given the state of everything, I’d prefer not to if that’s alright.”
“It’s what you’re famous for.”
“He still took my money.”
“That’s grown-up stuff.”
“Is it your thumb, or mine?”
“My reproductive organs are intact, my hygiene well-maintained.”
“Feels a little tight.”
“On my wedding night, that dress got off almost as fast as [name] did.”
“Oh gosh. After ten years of cousin stuff, I’m definitely excited for the real thing.”
“I’m just excited for us to raise our kids together.”
“From that moment on, [location] was a distant memory for me.”
“Must be nerve-wracking, your [title] could be anyone.”
“It’s gunna take some time to fix.”
“[Name], I love you.”
“We all know that, [name.]”
“Messing around with your cousin, it’s all well and good for kids, but it's not a sustainable long-term sexual practice, you know.”
“Okey dokey.”
“Just so you know, this was the best day of my life.”
“Sir, please don’t make me use force.”
“Oh, geez.”
“Oh. I think I know who you are.”
“Everyone knows who I am.”
“Do they know who they are?”
“They are the product of one of life’s tricky little choices.”
“I’m going to offer you a choice.”
“You are my world.”
“You look like your [family member.]”
“You should see it sometime.”
“Maybe you should do what you do best: run and hide.”
“How’s your nose?”
“Well, I can still smell, it’s just… Mostly blood.”
“Imagine getting to put on one of those every day.”
“Wonder why they’re here.”
“We’re brainstorming here - and there’s no bad ideas in a brainstorm.”
“I’m going with you.”
“What you’re doing is insane.”
“[name], I’m not letting anyone else get hurt on my behalf.”
“Young [gender], you come back here right now.”
“Well, that didn’t work.”
“You have ambitions, don’t you?”
“I wanted it to happen, is that wrong?”
“Are you weak?”
“I don’t want to be.”
“You have anything else to say, in your defense?”
“I wanna thank you, for your guidance and for giving me a home.”
“I had no place in the world, so.”
“Do you know who did it?”
“Well, I narrowed it down to one of those assholes.”
“They asked me if it was you.”
“You’re telling me the supreme badass we’re looking for is a freaking mutant?”
“How do we know he’s not feral?”
“Why, is this an Amish production of The Count of Monty Cristo, or just the weirdest circle jerk I’ve ever been invited to?”
“Does that count, should I shoot him?”
“Would you shut the fuck up.”
“A bounty came down, a huge one. Enough to be a last score for me, and whoever’s with me.”
“Well, what makes you think I’d give a goddamn about that?”
“It ain’t where they’s running from I figured you’d be interested in. It’s where they running to.”
“Now, what the fuck would you know about where I’m from?”
“Well, that don’t sound like gratitude, do it boys?”
“Well, I tell you what, boys, whenever somebody says, they’re doing last one job, that usually means their heart’s not in it. Probably never was.”
“But for me, well, I do this shit for the love of the game.”
“You right friend about one thing, this right here, was your last job.”
“Well, you know what they say, us cowpokes, we take it as it comes.”

in the spirit of just saying things recreationally i have two very specific types of childhood film nostalgia and one is watching things with my grandparents (mum’s side) i.e. tom thumb (1958), the count of monte cristo (2002), robin hood: prince of thieves and weird old british kids shows like tales from the riverbank. and the other is watching things with my granny/cousins (dad’s side) i.e. the mummy (1999), the 80s bbc narnia series, the monty python cast adaptation of the wind in the willows (1996) and this really bad but nonetheless formative cartoon film of the princess and the goblin

Scythe Audio Headcannons
These are just some Headcannons about some of the listeners from the universe of Scythe Audio. These are just my thoughts, please do not take this seriously. And feel free to leave thought.
The book that Little Love wanted to bring to the Atrocity was the Count of Monty Cristo, it reminded them of him. Being locked away through no fault of his own, getting revenge on those who did it.
Cheeky and Sarah would sit together and watch old BBC sitcoms like Are You Being Served or Keeping Up Appearances.
Cheeky has monophobia, the fear of being alone. That’s part of the reason that she’s so attached to V.
Blade is a bit of a gym rat. When she gets too stressed or is overthinking things, she puts in her headphones and works out for hours. She definitely has a six pack that is the envy of the entire gym.
Little Love likes cozy spaces, like between book shelves or in a type of nest. However they have claustrophobia and will start kicking and screaming if they are closed in something that reminds them of their cupboard.
I imagine Blade looks like Season 5 She-Ra 2018. She has the long hair in a ponytail, the white uniform with the crown, and the height. In that vein, Cheeky looks like Adora, with the shorter, dark blonde hair and red jacket.
Twinkle is very good at conflict de-escalation at the cafe.
Grey-Grey was goth as heck when they were in college with Alpha, while he was (or so Grey thought) a happy, goofy, preppy sort of guy.
Demon Girl is really crow-brained and likes to gather shiny stones and makes pressed flowers. She keeps certain stones and flowers for good luck.
All the Celestials look like they might be naked, but are kind of like Titans where they don’t have any special bits showing. They are also covered by their hair so the boys can’t really tell.

TWST Musical Au's
I am working on a bigger au project that is going to take me a while to complete, but I wanted to put out my smaller musical Aus in the time being!
Being a former theater kid and my Spotify consisting of 75% show tunes, I have lots of ideas for Musical Au's starring the Twst cast.
I have the major musicals (Hamilton, Phantom of The Opera, Hadestown, West Side Story, ect.) And off Broadway Productions (The Count of Monty Cristo, Heathers, Catch Me if you Can, Jykell and Hyde, Deathnote, etc) that I have in mind for the Au's. But due to me being at the whims of my brain, unless I have a to-do list or deadline, things will stay in the "draft" phase. So, to trick my brain into complying, which one of these Musical's would you guys like to see first?
All 4 of these will get done at some point, just the first will get done quicker.

Just started watching the atrocity series and I have a couple headcanons!
(Also I Interpret little love as a boy If you dont thats fine but i'm using he/him pronouns for this one)
After atrocity killed everyone I his town, he just went wild!
Ransacked peoples houses to get food, took other kids clothes, toys, everything!
It was HIS town
During the months after he was saved, he drew a TONE of pictures of the atrocity (in crayon)
He also started to cover one of his eyes with this hair (to look more like atrocity)
One time he was drawing him with said crayons and he put them in his mouth to try and look like he had fangs but then quickly spat them out
They guy who strangled him was a guy who lived in his town before it was massacred and cos little love was the only one left, he assumed he was to blame
After little love killed him he tried tasting his blood just cos he wanted to know what it was about it that made atrocity so happy
He also quickly spat that out
I think its safe to say that it's cannon that he likes putting random sh*t in his mouth
The reason why he dosnt like swears is cos his dad used to scream swears at him
I heard someone's headcanon that the book he wanted to give to William was "the count of monty cristo" and I kinda prefer that to what my first thought was - interview with a vampire-
I'll probably add to this when I finish the series

The count of monty cristo! Zu! I swear I mentioned this musical to you before!!! Did I not? I'm almost certain I suggested the idea of a cros over for this! Dam in so jealous you got to see the musical! I wanted to so badddd. I have the playlist on my phone! I wanted to make a Cross over for this a year ago! With fluffynight in my version, but still! Never got round to drawing it, but now ya beat me ;-;
*GASP* Did you?? \(//∇//)\ I'm sorry I don't remember it but you were oh so right about this idea cause the musical was awesome ★ And the songs are so good in both Rus & Eng I can't stop listening to themmm ♪
I wanted to draw fluffynight in the first place! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) With Dream as Mondego (if you know want it would mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), but I thought it'd be too OOC for both of them :')
This is not the limit after all, you and everyone else can always join with your scenes & versions! <3
[Spoilers!]
As for Mondego in this version, as one of the betrayals, what if it would be Cross, who marries Dream after Nightmare is imprisoned? >:D
OOOH this is a great idea!! ♡(人 •͈ᴗ•͈) And it fits perfectly in the story *^* (if only there could be a happy ending... :')
Indeed!! Awww I can imagine Nightmare protecting him <3
Yep! (´⌣`ʃƪ) The original story has another ending as I see but the happy one was just right <3
OMG— someone drew the whole series?? Impressive :D
Same here! It's not even so much about dreammare, just the twins meeting each other so many years later ;w;
YESSS this does make sense! (๑・̑◡・̑๑)☆ I really enjoy the idea of the good guys (like Ink, Swap?) being betrayals and the bad sanses being (good) pirates <3
I'll be looking forward to it, no matter how much it'll take *^*
(Gotta go— have a good night! <3)

"Splat Rat"
Remembering back to the days when I had a rat and rats just kind of light climbing up and jumping off things like they’re made of steel which would scare me so much even though, yeah, that’s what they do in the wild, obviously.
I wonder how much more, or less, you’d worry if your rat and you were both zombies?
Either way, another Birthday Blessing from Cavity, of course!

43, 44, 45, and 49! 💕
Thank you lovely~! I was hoping I'd get more than one of these. <3 Hope you're ready for this answer lol
43. Title of a book you own that’s in the worst physical condition you have. Explain what happened to it. Post a picture if you want.
I waited till now to answer this cause I wanted to include a picture of my shame and these books were tucked safely away in the back of my bedroom bookshelf where my partner was sleeping so I couldn’t get them.
Confession time: I love reading in the bath.
And in the days before my waterproof ereader I have destroyed a book or two simply by rereading it and exposing it to my wet and wild habit over and over. Please don’t judge me for the severity of these pictures, it was a different time.
All trigger warnings for severely abused books apply.
That is my copy of The Good the Bad and The Undead by Kim Harrison which is the second book in her The Hollows/Rachel Morgan series and the first one I read after finding it in my dad’s rejected books pile. It’s probably the book I’ve reread the most besides Reaper Man by Terry Prachett as I recall finishing it on occasions and immediately restarting it. I loved it. I actually own three copies of this book. This one. A digital copy in a full series omnibus. And another copy of the paperback bought recently as I’d love to own the entire series so I’m trying to pick the ones I’m lacking.
The second is my copy of Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning this is the first book in her Fever series which I to this day haven’t finished but at the time it was a favored because of its interesting world building, angst ridden characters, and of course the sexy potential of its (poorly aged!) love to hate ‘em alpha-male romantic interests. Still I used to wait for each new book of the series to be available at the library and while I waited I used to reread my copy of this one to keep the characters fresh in my mind. Funfact: I also bought a digital bundle of this series which I was reading as my “work book” (the book I only read at work) for a while. And I made it all the way to where I originally stopped. The last book in the original series, book five: Shadowfever. I made it halfway through it when the lockdowns hit and at that point I didn’t want to start reading my work book at home so I still haven’t finished it. That’s probably ok though, while I enjoy the nostalgia of the characters and world it’s not so great in 2023!
So yeah I think they’re both pretty banged up but I think Darkfever might be a little worse? It certainly feels worse to the touch! Pages clumped and stuck together and edges destroyed. Its more waterdamaged at least, but the other one is split down the middle so I guess that’s also pretty bad! I'm posting both tho because the other one def looks worse.
44. The book(s) whose stories have become part of your very makeup.
Reaper Man. Dragonlance: Chronicles, Legends, Tales, the Lost Chronicles, and the Raistlin Duology in particular. The Count of Monte Cristo. Cyrano De Bergerac, The Art of Asking. American Gods. Countless short stories, fairy tales, myths and legends.
The first six books of The Hollows series by Kim Harrison also need to be mentioned. Particularly the one above. You can’t imagine how mortified I was when I got my partner to read them and he commented “Hey, you, like, took some of your personality from these didn’t you?” Yeah. Probably bruh. But you don’t have to call me out like that.
Books five, seven, and eight of the Women of the Otherworld Series probably deserve an honorable mention for the same reason tbh.
More recently I think the series of Bring Me Their Hearts, and The Library of the Unwritten definitely rewrote something in my brain.
45. What book(s) would you sell your soul to get a TV or movie adaptation of?
Listen the other day I was imagining a Monty Python style variety show adaption of Daniel M Lavery’s book Something that May Shock and Discredit You which a WILD PULL but the only answer I have for you right now. I think it would have animated parts like Python did but they’d be stylized like The Simpson’s animation.
I don’t fantasize about adaptations but I think they really work best for children’s books so if you made me answer seriously I guess I’d go with The Tales of the Frog Princess by E.D. Baker and maybe that should’ve been in the question above too lol.
49. Do you prefer hopeful, humorous, very emotional or darker books?
I think I tend to err toward darker and angstier books. I get a lot of catharsis from them but I think most of the time books like The Bone Orchard or Leech or Iron Widow or whatever I’m reading that deals with dark topics usually benefit from that undercurrent of hope. I don’t think dark and emotional needs to lack hope and I tend to most enjoy ones that allow space for both.
That being said I read a lot and I think what I like most is having options and variety.
Asks for Bookworms here

Realizing that I’m at the point in my life....that lines up with the part in “The Count of Monty Cristo” where Edmund has just escaped the Chateau d’If, with nothing but the raggedy clothes on his back. And yet he couldn’t be more excited. He has all that he has learned, his newly sharpened mind, a purpose, and a treasure map to a obscenely large fortune ;)
Shit’s about to pop off.

Weird question, but I consider you the expert: what would be the Oldie Squad's favorite movies?
Not a weird question at all! I like this one!
Jellylorum has always loved epics and musicals and grand theatrical pieces - if it's big and gauzy and has dance breaks, she's all for it (and if it's a sweeping romantic, even better). Some of her favourites include: La Belle et Le Bête (1946), The Wizard of Oz (1939), An American in Paris (1951), The Happiest Millionaire (1967), The Phantom of the Opera (1943), War and Peace (1956), The Sword and the Rose (1953), and Singin' In the Rain (1952).
(For a more "modern" example, she would adore the two Mamma Mia! movies and Moulin Rouge completely unironically.)
Asparagus sat through Lawrence of Arabia (1962) twice (and only fell asleep once during the second viewing) and that's about all you need to know about his film taste. Those epics and dramas that Jelly loves, he's been known to crank up to eleven, and he also likes a good twist and turn around - something he can just sit and contemplate about for several hours while he disassociates from reality, you know? Some of his favourites include things like Anatomy of a Murder (1959), Rashomon (1950) (And Throne of Blood - 1957), Hamlet (1948) and The Red Shoes (1948).
It's not all long dramas and such, though. He also shares Jelly's penchant for musicals, and loves The Pirate (1948), Hello, Dolly! (1969) and Swing Time (1936), and will devour any bloated swashbuckler film he can get his paws on (The Count of Monte Cristo (1934) being a favourite, and he's never seen a Treasure Island that he didn't like at least a little).
Skimbleshanks has never had the best patience when it comes to films - particularly long ones - but when he does settle down, he much prefers movies that are quick paced and witty, and it translates much better in its physicality, if that makes sense; you don't have to necessarily understand what is being said to be entertained. If it makes him laugh, even better time spent. Some of the films he's actually enjoyed include The Kid (1921), Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Safety Last! (1923), and Oh, Mr. Porter! (1937). He's also been known to occasionally dabble in things like The Secret Garden should he happen to crack an eye open while asleep in the lap of one of the Station Master's daughters.
(But also contradictorily, Skimbleshanks is the type who probably hasn't actually gone to a movie theatre in 20+ years, but will occasionally pass by someone watching something and get accidentally intrigued and ask all sorts of questions - "What's she on about?" "He certainly likes to yell, doesn't he?" "Who's that? Why are they crying?" - but refuse the offer to rewind it)
Jennyanydots is in a similar vein with Skimble: not much patience for whole movies (yet she has infinite patience for the soaps though). She also has the pesky habit of guessing the ending within the first fifteen minutes or so, so it's not much fun for her. That being said, of the few movies she's actually watched, her favourites are Mary Poppins (1964), and Gone with the Wind (1939).
Bustopher Jones *also* quite loves Gone with the Wind, and others like Sunset Boulevard (1950), Roman Holiday (1953), and The Blue Angel (1930). He's a *big* diva type of person, and an admirer of good costumes, which - in his opinion - are far better in live entertainment than on a screen, but he'll take what he can get.
Hathor's taste in films is...eclectic is probably the best word for it - she likes a little bit of everything. She's really the only of the oldie squad members who actually likes thrillers (Asparagus will watch some of them with her, but he doesn't have the stomach for all of it. She doesn't quite embrace full on horror films as well, but she'll give anything a shot once) and science fiction (Jelly would be more the go to companion for these, but only certain types).
Some of her favourite movies include The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), The Last Man on Earth (1964), The Fly (1958), and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), but she also loves movies like Bambi (1942), Carmen Jones (1954), and The Shop Around the Corner (1940). She, much like Asparagus, will also consume just about any mystery film she can get *her* paws on. So honestly it depends when you catch her and in what mood.
