I saw someone else do this with Anthony so I’ve decided to make a list of my own,
My Anthony HCs!!:
• GAMER BOY 30000!!! He really wants to go into video game design because it’s something he loves but it’s not his only love
•This other love happens to be…writing. He’s been secretly writing for years. Poems, short stories, essays, whole ass novels. Everything under the sun. He knows it’s stupid and it’ll probably go nowhere but the idea of being able to write a book to be beloved by people all across world made him happy. But it was stupid…totally stupid.
•Anthony, Demetri, Miguel and Eli are total magic nerds. They play Dungeon Lord, Pokémon, DnD, you name it, they do it.
•Anthony LOVES his mom. He thinks she’s a total boss ass bitch and is the only one who can rein in his dad when he needs it. She’s an icon 🙏
• He not that amazing as a cook but the second you ask for chicken nuggets??? Oh he’s Gordon Ramsey on crack. He thinks he could do better but everyone that eat it loves him. But he’d never eat anything he makes. Cause he isn’t able to calculate the calories and there’s probably be people around to watch and it just wasn’t right. Not that it was a problem or anything…totally not a problem…
•He learns by watching. Video games and karate. When his dad was trying his to figure out the best way to teach Anthony, he thought that hands on might help. It was only after Anthony did a Cobra Kai move that he reconsidered. Apparently Anthony had unconsciously observed and learned Cobra Kai moves from watching the Ex Cobras (Miguel, Robby, Hawk) train at Miyagi Do for so long. Anthony was impressed with himself. Daniel on the other hand, was not.
•Him and Devon are totally besties. Devon makes fun of him for his crush of Lia and Anthony constantly reminds her that she’s bitchless aswell.
•Even though him and Sam aren’t close, he’s really protective of her. But the secret kind of protective. He hated Kyler. All of Kylers side hoes also somehow happened to find out about each other which led to them all consecutively dropping Kyler. A total coincidence…
•Whenever Sam yells at him for “checking out” her friends he gets flustered because he’s not really checking then out, he’s just admiring their clothes. He would love to dress like that he doesn’t want any more of a reason to be bullied by Cobra Kai. Moon is his style icon 🙌
•Slut for Pasta. 100000% obsessed with it
• His nightmare is ending up like his dad. Not the rich part but the car salesman part. He’d rather die then sell cars
•He’s a Swifte. No explanation needed.
That’s all for now! I have a list of sadder headcanons but I don’t think the world needs to see what torture my sad mind creates for this boy 😣

I hope this isn't annoying you please ignore if it is, but do you have any paintings/fanart/photos/tv or movie references for what Evelyn would look like? I absolutely love how you describe her, but i have aphantasia so i can't for the life of me picture her properly. I love making moodboards and things to use as a guide, so if you have any pictures/fanart you dont mind sharing I would really love that :))
It's not annoying my goodness!! You're so kind! I'm glad you've been liking the fic!
I have no eye for colour pallets or moodboards however, but I do like to save photos and paintings etc. when the mood strikes me. So I have a lot. None are super exact truly, but it was more for fashions and the ~vibes~
So! Evelyn! Female England. Featuring babies! Long post ahoy!
17th century Eva pre Civil War featuring her eldest boys...
Tumblr media
- A Genoese Noblewoman and Her Son by Anthony van Dyck c.1626 - Detail from The Balbi Children by Anthony van Dyck c.1625 - Lady Frances Cranfield, Lady Buckhurst, later Countess of Dorset by Anthony Van Dyck, 1637
Moving through to the 18th century... When you start the century with one baby and swap it for another...
Tumblr media
- Jane Duchess of Gordon and son George by George Romney, 1778 - Mrs. John Montresor by John Singleton Copley, 1778 (I had to go for this one - the red [riding] coat right?) - Lady Boston, nee Christian Methuen by George Romney, c1775 - A Lady, said to be Madame Danloux, nursing her child in a drawing room by François Guillaume Ménageot, c1785
Then the baby girl arrives and Oz isn't that good at studying and the entire time they're playing house there's a real feeling of 'this is just off' for about a hundred or so years. Mama's playing the role very well but boy is it exhausting.
Tumblr media
- Mother with infant by James Francis Day, 1863 - Sewing on a button, Edouard Frère, 1882 - A Testing Question, Frederick Morgan, 1892 - Summer Hours of Childhood by Charles Lucy, 1869
More individual solo shots of art that I picked for melancholia and goth auras...
Tumblr media
- Girl in Green by Sara Hayden, 1899 - On the Seashore by George Elgar Hicks, 1879 - Preparing for the Ball by Viktor Schramm, 1898 - The Pearl Necklace by Henry Tonks, c.1905 - Unknown Painting by Richard Johnson, c2000 - Little Brother & Little Sister by A. Rackham, 1917
And finally some actual photographs of assorted models, actresses and rich ladies from the late 19th century who I particularly was like yup. For modern day, someone like Imogen Poots I think could be neat. She has rabbit teeth, looks perpetually tired with racoon eyes and has wild hair.
Tumblr media
My intention is that by the end of the 19th century bit by bit the constraints are cracking and the poison is leaking out just in time for the World Wars. Still purging in the years that followed... nearly there by the end of the millennium. Just stop smoking hen.

So today I decided to ask my mom to rate Gotham characters
My mother has never seen Gotham. The only tv shows she watches are House Hunters and Gold Rush.
First off was Edward Nygma (personally is an 11/10 for me) my mother rated him a 4.5
Tumblr media
Next was Jim Gordon. She didn’t rate him she just said “he looks like an asshole”
Tumblr media
Next was Mr. Harvey Bullock (a solid 10/10) she said 7.3 then changed her answer to 6.41
Tumblr media
So then I asked her about Oswald Cobblepot, and things got interesting.
Tumblr media
She immediately asked if he was 9 years old (I sent her the wiki page showing his age which is 40 and she said she didn’t believe it), which started a conversation of “How Old is This Man?”
Cory is apparently 14 (is 32)
Tumblr media
Anthony is “at least 18” (she’s baseing this off of the fact that he was wearing an I Voted sticker in the photo. He is 36)
Tumblr media
AND HERES THE KICKER I showed her David. She said he was 22 (he’s 17) WHICH IS PRETTY CLOSE BUT SHE THINKS LIL DAVID LOOKS OLDER THAN ROBIN, CORY, AND ANTHONY.

Cobra Kai 4.1-4.4 Thoughts
I’m through ep 4.4 of “Cobra Kai” and I’m loving it!!! :D It’s off to a great start. Would’ve watched more but my family’s getting ready to have a safe New Year’s thing tonight so can’t watch more till tomorrow but a LOT already has happened!!!
First off I’m loving Daniel and Johnny working together and all the kids training under them both.  It feels more like any other sports as you do have to know both offense and defense strategies and normally there’s coaches for both on teams. Daniel also teaching Miguel was fantastic, as was Johnny with Sam!!! :D Johnny and Sam even more so for me as for those that follow me (or if you can tell by my icon) that I love Barbara Gordon/Batgirl/Oracle and this weirdly is similar to how she is not only with her dad Jim but also with Bruce Wayne/Batman. Her and Bruce form a close father/daughter bond too even though she also still has both her parents and he is her mentor (and I’m also going to get this too next year in her DC movie with Leslie Grace & Michael Keaton!!!).
Then I’m loving seeing more of Tory’s story and I feel so much for her. Glad Amanda is realizing too what she’s really like and that Sam is in the wrong at times too about this.  Then glad Hawk/Eli is also really remorseful for how he acted last season and is mending things with everyone.  All of them working on the new sparring mat is awesome too.
Then Anthony finally getting a storyline and is a bully like Johnny used to be!!! :o Even has his own version of the OG Cobras.  I already love Kenny too and that he’s the younger brother of Robby’s friend from JV, and that Robby has taken him under his wing and helping him too.
Then I’m happy Johnny and Carmen are fully in a relationship now and they dealt with him meeting with Ali least season and he’s fully committed to her now. Plus, Rosa and her friends are all for it!!! LOL Now to see Miguel’s reaction.
Then of course Thomas back as Terry!!! :D I’m already loving him and he’s doing amazing!!! And slowly getting back to his evil ways.  Also seeing him shirtless it was obvious that he’s not in his 70s as he still looks too good. LOL :D Also so happy to see Barrett and Nick back as young Kreese and Terry and to find out Terry’s dad not only originally owned the company but was disapproving of Terry’s choices. And I like seeing him train Robby (see next paragraph LOL).
Then the flashback with little Johnny!!! :D He’s so adorable and I feel so bad for him as all he wanted was his dad back!!! And I freaked out seeing that box of his dad’s things as I swear I remember Terry having that camera in the Vietnam flashbacks last season and that’s he, Kreese, and their other friend used to take that photo!!! :D I’m one of the ones that fully believe Terry likely is Johnny’s dad and seeing that camera and the military style boots just added even more to that!! :D If that is the case those it changes a lot of what I thought happened between him and Laura (possibly his dad forced him to leave or Terry felt he was a bad father and left similar to Johnny and Robby) and that he possibly never told Kreese about any of this either and why he stayed away while Kreese was teaching Johnny. We’ll see what happens but that felt like huge pieces of evidence.
As always loving the soundtrack too and the pop culture references. Amanda loving “Outlander” cracked me up as Jamie Fraser is more similar to Johnny at times. LOL And Johnny not caring for “Top Gun” but loving Val Kilmer’s Ice Man!!! LOL Then with Miguel listening to Daniel’s favorite 80s music and seeing Daniel’s music is more my Mom’s!!! LOL :D I always joked how Johnny’s music is my Dad’s and now there’s Mom’s. Excited to see where this goes next tomorrow!!! :D

Friday Releases for August 6
Friday is the busiest day of the week for new releases, so we've decided to collect them all in one place. Friday Releases for August 6 include The Suicide Squad, Dreams Still Inspire, Kings Disease II, and more.
The Suicide Squad
The Suicide Squad, the new movie from James Gunn, is out today.
Welcome to hell—a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out—even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Trekking through a jungle teeming with militant adversaries and guerrilla forces at every turn, the Squad is on a search-and-destroy mission with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave… and Amanda Waller’s government techies in their ears, tracking their every movement. And as always, one wrong move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself). If anyone’s laying down bets, the smart money is against them—all of them.
Annette
Annette, the new movie from Leos Carax, is out today.
Los Angeles, today. Henry (Adam Driver) is a stand-up comedian with a fierce sense of humor who falls in love with Ann (Marion Cotillard), a world-renowned opera singer. lo que rebaja el nivel de la serie una barbaridad
A Good Name - Tim Drake Imagine
Rating: PG
Warnings: fluff and future, and a flustered Robin
Summary: As a part of Young Justice, you have seen a lot of weird things. But being called (Y/n) Drake was by far the weirdest thing. (Aka I read a fic that I can’t remember the name of where Impulse called reader Mrs. Grayson and I took inspo from that idea to make one for Tim! Someone, aka @despitealldoubts-blog found the fic so here it is! Future Mrs. G by @cait-writes-stuff inspired this!)
Word Count: 2785
“Stand ready,” Nightwing commanded.
The four of you readied yourselves as the unknown source or ball of electricity formed and dropped a transportation device of some kind. It dropped right onto the floor, smoking and whirring, and when smoke billowed out of it, someone jumped out.
“Ta da!” A boy, bright red hair, white and red outfit with a yellow visor. You didn’t recognize him from any database you’ve seen. Not a notable hero or villain. Maybe a hacker or inventor, from the looks of the machine. Could be a thief, an aspiring supervillain, or just a big fan of superheroes.
The alarm went off. “Intruder Alert. Intruder Alert.”
“Computer, lock down cave,” Nightwing said.
Gar tilted his head. “Well, I think we found our unknown energy impulse.”
“Impulse,” the stranger mulled it over. “That’s so crash! Catchy, dramatic, one word.” He appeared by Nightwing’s side. “Like Nightwing.”
A speedster!
“And Robin.”
To you, “And Knockout.”
To Gar, “And Beast Boy.” He blinked.”‘Well, that’s two words.” He talked even faster, and soon, he was trying to explore the cave to find things. With a laugh and a mock salute, he was gone.
“You three, take him down.”
“On it, Nightwing!” you responded. You cracked your knuckles and ran alongside Robin and Beast Boy. You caught him in a hallway and with a smirk, you punched the ground. It splintered under your strength. He wouldn’t be able to run.
And you were wrong. Impulse, whatever his name was, ran up the wall and over your head, back to safer and sturdier ground. You groaned. Nightwing was not going to be happy.
Robin sped out from the kitchen, just to trip on some dispelled tile.
You giggled. It was worth it.
Robin stared at you. “Nightwing’s gonna kill you.”
You shrugged. “Nah, I’m good. It’s nice to see you fall on your ass, Robin. Shouldn’t you have wings or something?”
“Guys, come back,” Nightwing said. “I’ve got him.”
Your jaw dropped. “How…” You shook your head.
Robin laughed and patted your shoulder. “Come on.”
As Impulse explained himself, you grew more and more confused. Time travel was theoretica, and no one could agree on what would happen if it was achieved. Does time travel work so that what you do in the past is actually what happened in the past, like time travel was meant to happen and was accounted for in a neat timeline. Or, was there different timelines, and if so, does the previous timeline disappear or does it become an alternate universe all on its own.
You pressed your fingers against your temples. This was just a tad too much.
“So,” Robin concluded, “you’re a tourist from the future.”
“Why look so surprised. Half the meat at Comic Con are from my era.”
Robin rubbed his chin, and you knew that face. He was doubting the information he got. Trying to find the tells of a lie.
You crossed your arms. “If you’re from the future, you should be able to prove it.”
“Ah, well, my identity is kinda a tell, if you know what I mean. Superspeed, the red and gold.” He smiled up at all of you. “I’m Bart Allen, grandson of Barry Allen. You know, the Flash, Barry Allen.”
“Noted.” Garfield smirked. “Not believed, but noted.”
“What’s not to believe? I’ve got it all! The speed, the amazing good looks.” Impulse’s eyes lit up. “Frankly, I can’t wait to meet him. You know, back when he was still in his prime and all.”
Nightwing sighed. “Well, Bart, coming all the way from the future, you must have worked up a thirst.” He brought a cup of water to the intruder. Tracker, no doubt.
“Thanks!”He sipped the water. “Oh! Ah, you’re trying to get my DNA!” he spat into the water. “That’s such a Dick Grayson move.”
Robin’s eyes widened. “How did…” He looked at his mentor, and Nightwing, or well Dick, just stared at him, trying to figure it out himself.
“Aha! See, I know things that only someone from the future with an amazing Flash legacy to carry would know.” He looked at each of you, and without pause, said, “Dick Grayson, (Y/n) and Tim Drake, Garfield Logan.”
You bit your tongue. That was not your name. Your name was (Y/n) (Y/l/n), not (Y/n) Drake. And Tim? As in Robin’s name was Tim. Tim Drake? Your eyes caught his, Tim’s, and thank god for Garfield, because he spoke before the two of you could stutter about what just happened.
“Your name’s Tim? And your is, uh, Dick?” Garfield cringed.
You smiled as much as you can, and with heat still blooming in your cheeks, you laughed. “Gar, your name is Garfield, like that cat who hates Mondays.”
“Hey!” Garfield poked your chest. “I don’t like Mondays. So, I take that as a compliment.”
“You really shouldn’t,” Tim agreed.
“See, thank you.”
Garfield groaned and covered his face. “No wonder you two got married.”
Just like that, Tim and you looked anywhere else but each other.
“Oops. Spoilers.” He shrugged. “The secret identity is so retro. You can call me anything. Impulse, Bart, Bart Impulse Allen. All’s crash.”
“He can’t actually be telling the truth,” Robin, Tim, insisted. “He can’t be from the future.”
Garfield leaned in close. “Tell us something we don’t know! Yet.” The boy smiled, so proud of himself. “So, when do I become leader? Or part of the Justice League! Or, hear me out, my reality show? Good answers only.”
“Sorry, BB. Never was the best at history. Plus, I shouldn’t say any more spoilers as to alter the timeline. I mean, now, Tim and (Y/n) might not get married and have Jack  and Anna. Oh, god, we will all be feeling the mode.”
Jack and Anna. “Kids?” You gulped and looked to Tim. Sure enough, he was staring at you, too. There was something in his eyes, behind the mask, that screamed surprise and awe, and you weren’t sure how to take that. Tim was your best friend on the team. Maybe not your best friend ever, since he didn’t know your name and you didn’t know his until after Impulse, but still.
He was so amazing, really. Intelligent, strategic, hard-working. You still got surprised every time he actually wanted to spend time with you.
And then, this kid from the future is telling you that that guy, your best super friend and the smartest person on the team, falls in love with you? Has kids with you?
Then, Impulse escaped. Beast Boy went after him, and Tim was back to clearing his throat and forgetting all the information he had just received.
You sighed. “I’m gonna go train. And, uh, Nightwing?”
“What did you do?”
“Nothing!” You pursed your lips. “Just, you know, some slightly chipped, broken, maybe possibly shattered tile in hallway B6.”
“Knockout-”
“Ok, bye!” You ran off to the gym. Nightwing had too much on his mind. He wouldn’t go after you just yet.
So, you took deep breaths. When you entered your small, personal gym, it came to life. The light turned on, and your playlist filled the air. You sighed. “Computer, I need you to search for Tim Drake.”
“On it, Knockout.”
As you worked out, you kept asking your room questions and pieced together bits of information.
“I need a list of billionaires who operate business at least once a month in Gotham,” you said, as you stared at the wall of holograms during your cooldown. “Cross reference the list with the list of people associated with Tim Drake.”
“The list consists of seven people.”
“Read them out, please.” You gulped down water and listened.
“Anthony Edwards, Roberta Stark, Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor-”
“Wait.” You stared at the profiles of these people. Seven people that were both associated with Gotham and Tim. Only one of them fit the bill of eccentric billionaire who takes in kids and fights crime with only a tight suit and fancy gadgets.
“Bruce Wayne,” you whispered. “Computer, pull up a picture of Batman next to Mr. Wayne.” Oh my god, how did no one figure it out sooner. They even had a similar physique. “Who are children that are associated with Mr. Wayne?”
“Dick Grayson-”
“Aka Nightwing.”
“-Barbara Gordon-”
You’d recognize that bright red hair anywhere. “Batgirl.”
“-Jason Todd-”
The old Robin.”
“-and Tim Drake.”
You gulped. Four kids, just like how there were four kids under Batman. Two of which were named by the kid from the future.
“Pull all of their pictures up, along with Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin three years ago and Robin now.” All of their physical profiles were similar. Even Jason’s and Robin’s. And Robin’s disappearance was near Jason Todd’s reported death. Robin’s reappearance matched the year Bruce and Tim’s dad, Jack Drake, were acquainted.
You stood back and laughed. “Wow.” You were sitting one of the biggest secrets in history. You knew who Batman was! The Batman! You knew who Robin was, who Nightwing was, who Batgirl was. You knew all of their secret identities.
“I knew you’d figure it out.”
“Robin!” Your computer hid all the files. “Find what out? Nothing to see here.”
“Mhm. Computer?”
“Yes, Robin?”
“Bring up the previous files.”
“Of course.”
You gasped. “Wait! No-” And all your files of the Batman and his associates appeared on the wall behind you. You shook your head. “Thanks, Computer.”
“You’re welcome, Knockout.”
You stared at your feet and joked, “I really should program Computer to detect sarcasm.” you turned to your data. “I still can’t believe no one knows. I mean, it’s obvious.” You pointed at Mr. Wayne. “This guy is one of the only billionaires who operates in Gotham weekly, and Batman is known to have multiple, custom made gadgets. Even if he made them himself, he’d need a lot of money to maintain that, so billionaire is in the description.
“Then, there’s the fact that Batman has many sidekicks or associates or what have you. So that means the the billionaire must be associated with kids, maybe even adopt them. And Mr. Wayne adopted two kids as his wards. The first one of the two being an orphaned trapeze artist who was adopted around the time that Robin showed up for the first time. And it helps that Robin was known to do amazing tricks and stunts when locking up criminals.”
With all the pictures and articles around you, you couldn’t help but wonder. “I mean, it’s obvious.”
Robin laughed. “To us, it is.”
You tilted your head. “Us?”
He nodded. “Computer, can search for a video with the keywords, ‘Grayson,’ and ‘quadruple somersault’?”
Two videos popped up, one of which was a small boy performing the very difficult trick.
“The second one. Now, Computer, bring up footage of Penguin and Robin about six years ago next to it, please.”
The two videos played at the same time, and you saw why Tim brought it up. The kid in the first video was a young trapeze artist, Dick Grayson. The second video had Robin perform the same difficult trick when he defeated Penguin.
You laughed. “That’s how you found out?”
“I saw Dick perform when I was a kid. I recognized it in this video, and when I thought I needed to, I approached Bruce.”
You blinked. “When you needed to?”
His shoulders dropped, and suddenly, you knew what Tim meant. Batman needed a Robin, and the only time he was without one was when Jason, the second Robin, died at the hands of the Joker. Tim sought out Mr. Wayne after that. “You don’t have to,” you said.
Tim smiled, but it was forced. “Thanks.”
You rubbed his shoulder. “You’e really smart for figuring that out at the age of what?” You looked at the Penguin’s video date. “Age of nine? Damn, Robin.”
“Yeah, I am smart,” he admitted. “I’m also smart enough to know you’re avoiding the topic we should really be talking about.”
Blood pooled into your cheeks. You took your hand off his shoulder and laughed. “What do you mean avoiding? I’m not avoiding anything.” You pointed out, “Plus, it could just mean I’m adopted or that we happen to have the same last name later on in the future or something.”
Tim raised his eyebrow. “Impulse said, ‘Have Jack and Anna’.”
“So?”
“So, use that smart brain of yours.”
You grimaced. “Are we really going to talk about it?”
“Yes, we are. We’re a team, (Y/n), and whatever happens, this” - he pointed at the two of you- “needs to stay in tact.” The superhero gulped. “I want it to stay in tact.”
You sighed. “Jack is your dad’s name, obviously, so the future he was talking about, well,” you laughed and pulled at your hair, “it means that we name a kid after your dad.”
“What do you think of Anna? Where’d that come from?”
You shrugged. “Could be anything.” You laughed. “All I thought was, ‘Wow, Anna Drake sounds like a good name.’” You shook your head. “Kinda ridiculous, huh?”
Tim was silent. Then, his cheeks turned red, and he turned away from you. You knew that look. He thought of something. He thought of something, and it was embarrassing enough that even the thought of of it made him blush.
“Nuh-uh.” It took two strides for you to be right in front of him. “No, you’re spitting it out. What is it?”
“Nothing!”
“Not according to those rosy red cheeks, Tim.” You pinched his cheek. “Come on, you can tell me.”
Tim shook his head and hit his own forehead. “It’s stupid.”
“Who cares?”
He sighed. “I thought, I was just gonna say, like, I don’t know.” He cleared his throat and glanced at you before looking at his boots. “I just, I think that (Y/n) Drake, it sounds like a good name, too.”
The smile you had so gleefully earned disappeared just like that. Not because you were embarrassed, although that was true. It wasn’t because you might marry Robin, aka Tim Drake, aka your best friend, or because you had been thinking of that name, your first name and his last name, for the past hour or two.
No, it was because he was right. (Y/n) Drake doesn’t sound bad.
“See!”
“Shut up.” You laughed and covered your face. “I don’t need this from you.”
“You asked for it!”
“I didn’t think you’d say that.” You exhaled a long and deep exhale and shook your head. You couldn’t let him do this to you. It didn’t matter that the two of you might be married later on. No, you had to get him back. You bit your lip and sauntered to him.
Tim’s eyes widened, and he froze. He stared at you, almost in awe of your newly found confidence, and even though your fingers shook, you couldn’t help but love the way he looked at you.
Your fingers brushed against his mask, and your eyes met his blue ones. When he didn’t do anything to stop you, you lifted the mask away from his face, and finally, his face was revealed to you.
You bit your lip and brushed his hair back. “You know, I don’t think Tim (Y/l/n) sounds too bad either.” You smiled up at him and played with one lock of hair that was out of place. “Goes well with this handsome face of yours.”
Tim gulped, and you could feel his heartbeat under his skin. It was frantic, but still, he didn’t move. Even when he sheeks got redder than yours, he didn’t move. He just smiled. “I, uh, I mean.” He cleared his throat. “Uh, you know, you being this close and playing with my, you know, hair and everything.” He gulped and looked down at his feet.
You giggled. “Run out of smoothness there, Robin?”
“Maybe,” he admitted.
Your cheeks hurt from smiling too much. You leaned your head on his chest. “It’s ok, that was all the smoothness I had.”
“All of it?”
“Yep.” You wrapped your arms around his waist and rested your chin on his chest. “No more smoothness from me. That was it. That was all of it.”
Tim smiled so softly and genuinely as he brushed your hair out of your face before resting them on your waist. “So no more smoothness from you?”
“Nope.”
“Not even on our first date?”
“Well, you got ask me that first?”
He laughed. “Ok then, Drake, what about a date?”
You hummed, as if in thought.
“Come on,” he pouted.
You laughed. “Yes, (Y/l/n), I’ll go on a date with you.”

The San Francisco Treat
“Petri Wine brings you…The Casebook of Gregory Hood!”
Sam Spade, Candy Matson, and Pat Novak weren’t the only detectives to call San Francisco home during the Golden Age of Radio. But while they had the seedier sides of the city covered, Gregory Hood’s beat brought him to the finest restaurants, swankiest nightclubs, and poshest museums of the city of the Golden Gate. Though not a hard-boiled, two-fisted detective, Gregory Hood had a keen eye and a knack for getting into trouble…even if his day job was imports and not investigations. His adventures - brought to radio in The Casebook of Gregory Hood - came to radio on June 3, 1946.
Gregory Hood was an unlicensed, untrained detective, though he had an extensive knowledge of several fields including art, antiques, wines, and fine foods. While those may not be the qualities associated with a master sleuth, most of Hood’s cases came to him in the course of his work, and they often involved an artistic angle. He had no fans on the police force; as an unlicensed amateur, he was even worse than a private eye butting in on their territory. However, he had a confidant and frequent partner in Sanderson “Sandy” Taylor, the attorney for Gregory Hood Importers and a close friend. Sandy was along for the ride to provide back-up (and to stand in as an audience surrogate when Hood explained how he’d cracked the case).
Tumblr media
If the relationship between Greg and Sandy sounds similar to the partnership between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, it’s no coincidence. The Casebook of Gregory Hood was the brainchild of Anthony Boucher and Dennis Green, the scriptwriters for The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce as a summer replacement for Holmes and Watson. Hood and Holmes shared not only writers, but also a sponsor (Petri Wine - “the family that took time to bring you good wine”); an announcer (actor and occasional pitchman Harry Bartell - above); and a format where the announcer would visit the characters and hear about their latest adventure.
As an unofficial detective, Gregory Hood usually came by his cases by accident. Dinner parties ended in murder; rare antiques were stolen; and one mystery began when Greg and Sandy were on a camping trip in the mountains. In the episode we’ll hear this week, pulling over to aid a man in distress on the side of the road lands Hood in a murder case.
Tumblr media
Radio’s first Gregory Hood was Gale Gordon (above), an actor better known today for his comedic chops than dramatic roles. He played Mayor LaTrivia on Fibber McGee & Molly; Mr. Scott, the sponsor’s representative on The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show; and most famously the stuffy Principal Osgood Conklin on Our Miss Brooks. Gordon also co-starred on My Favorite Husband, the radio show that spawned I Love Lucy on television. He was Lucille Ball’s first choice to play Fred Mertz, but his commitment to the Our Miss Brooks TV series cost him the job. He’d go on to work with Ball in her later TV shows The Lucy Show (as her harried boss, Mr. Mooney), Here’s Lucy, and Life with Lucy. Gordon was a master of the comedic slow burn, and he may not be the first name that springs to mind when you think of a radio detective. But in addition to those laugh roles, he starred as The Whistler on radio, and he was the first actor to portray Flash Gordon on the air. Gordon could convey the sophistication and charm of Gregory Hood, but he could also get across the resolve and determination to close a case. Like Jackson Beck’s Philo Vance, Gregory Hood was a man who appeared deceptively harmless to his enemies only to later reveal a sharp mind and a nose for information.
Gordon played Gregory Hood for the first 17 episodes of the program. During that run, Sandy Taylor was played by several actors, including Bill Johnstone (Lt. Guthrie of The Line-Up) and Howard McNear. When Gordon stepped out, Elliott Lewis (below) assumed the title role. Lewis was still a few years away from directing Broadway is My Beat and Suspense. He was about to begin his role of ne’er-do-well sidekick Frankie Remley on The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show; ironically, his Remley and Gordon’s Scott would frequently feud on that program in what amounted to fights Gregory Hood had with himself. Lewis kept the role for the duration of the program’s run on the Mutual network. The program came back for a 1950-1951 run on ABC with Jackson Beck and other actors taking on the role.
Tumblr media
Gregory Hood is a classic example of the gentleman detective, a character just as important to crime fiction as his hard-boiled brother. Pat Novak and Sam Spade covered the waterfront, but Gregory Hood could be counted on to detect the clues and crack the cases among society’s upper crust.

The all-time starting five for every NBA Western Conference team
What if the Splash Bros. had Wilt Chamberlain playing center? How many titles would the Lakers have won if Magic Johnson was running the break with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal? Imagine Hakeem Olajuwon and James Hardenteaming up in Clutch City.
We asked our NBA writers to come up with an all-time starting five for every current NBA franchise, along with one additional blast from the past. Only a player's contributions during his time with that franchise were considered. (So, no, LeBron James doesn't crack the Lakers' all-time list ... yet.)
In this era of "positionless" basketball, traditional positions don't matter quite as much as they used to, so we allowed some flexibility in choosing a lineup -- but you won't see teams with four centers or three point guards. The idea was to dive into each team's history and create a group that could at least potentially share the floor together.
We rolled out the Eastern Conference on Wednesday. Here is the Western Conference:
Dallas Mavericks
G: Derek Harper G: Jason Terry G: Rolando Blackman F: Mark Aguirre F: Dirk Nowitzki
Terry joins Nowitzki as the only players on both of the Mavs' Finals teams and was the second-leading scorer on both squads. There's a reason Harper and Blackman, the backcourt for some good teams that just couldn't get past the Showtime Lakers, have their numbers in the American Airlines Center rafters. Aguirre's jersey probably won't ever be retired in Dallas because of his bitter departure, but you can't dismiss his 24.6 points per game in eight seasons with the Mavs.
The toughest cuts: Michael Finley and Jason Kidd, one of whom helped a young German kid find his way in the NBA and the other who helped Nowitzki finally deliver a title to Dallas.
-- Tim MacMahon
Denver Nuggets
G: Fat Lever G: David Thompson F: Alex English F: Carmelo Anthony C: Dikembe Mutombo
You're probably asking yourself the same question I debated for roughly 48 hours: Wait, no Nikola Jokic? There's a good chance Jokic eventually becomes the greatest player in franchise history, but he's just 25 years old.
EDITOR'S PICKS
Which active players are headed to the Hall? Our choice for every NBA team
Game Changers: Ranking the 100 most influential NBA players ever
Mutombo, on the other hand, is a Hall of Famer and produced probably the most iconic image in franchise history, celebrating the historic upset of the top-seeded Seattle SuperSonics in the 1994 playoffs. Mutombo is the defensive anchor behind a pure scoring lineup that could outgun just about anybody.
English, Anthony and Thompson all averaged better than 20 points a game for their careers, but at their peaks were pushing 30 PPG. Add in a floor general like Lafayette "Fat" Lever to pull the strings, and it could work. Between Fat, Melo and Dikembe, the Nuggets can outname just about anybody, too.
-- Royce Young
Golden State Warriors
G: Stephen Curry G: Klay Thompson F: Kevin Durant F: Draymond Green C: Wilt Chamberlain
Adding Chamberlain to the Durant-era Warriors teams that won back-to-back titles would just be unfair. Can you even imagine how dominant that team would be? Curry, Thompson, Durant and Green already have won titles together -- and now they have one of the greatest big men of all time to drop the ball to down low? Unbelievable. The defense is great, the offense is otherworldly.
It's tough leaving Hall of Famers Rick Barry and Chris Mullin out of this group, but who would come out? Curry and Thompson form the best shooting backcourt of all time. Durant is one of the best players of his generation and Green provides the defensive intensity and glue that has propelled them for years -- plus those four already have played together. There is no stopping this team. A juggernaut for the ages.
-- Nick Friedell
The best of Steph Curry's handles
Does Steph Curry have the best handles in the NBA? Take a look at some of his best moves and decide for yourself.
Houston Rockets
G: James Harden G: Calvin Murphy F: Tracy McGrady F: Rudy Tomjanovich C: Hakeem Olajuwon
Apologies to Hall of Fame big men Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone and Yao Ming, but it's hard to get one center in the Houston lineup these days. Of course, there's no debate about the candidacy of Olajuwon, who remains the best player in franchise history, even after Harden's run of historic offensive production.
Harden is 22 points away from passing Murphy for second on the Rockets' career scoring list, so for now the flamboyant, 5-foot-9 Murphy continues to be the only player who ranks among the franchise's top two in points and assists.
Rudy T is best remembered as the Clutch City-era coach and for the brutal punch that interrupted his playing career, but he earned his spot here with five All-Star appearances during a career spent entirely in a Rockets uniform.
-- MacMahon
Flashback: The best of Harden's 2017-18 MVP season
Take a look back at James Harden's dynamic MVP season in 2017-18.
LA Clippers
G: Chris Paul F: Kawhi Leonard F: Blake Griffin F: Elton Brand C: Bob McAdoo
Paul and Griffin authored the greatest and most exciting era in Clippers basketball with Lob City. Paul spent six seasons with the Clips, was first-team All-NBA three times and led the league in assists twice during that span. Griffin was Rookie of the Year, a five-time All-Star and the exciting, above-the-rim player the franchise sorely needed.
The 74 Greatest in NBA History
In the midst of the NBA's 74th season -- currently on hold -- ESPN's experts ranked the 74 greatest in five different categories:
• Individual seasons • Jerseys | Bottom 10 • Sneakers | Bottom 10 • Transactions (since The Decision) • Players: 74-41 | 40-11 | 10-1
Brand spent seven seasons with the team and made both of his All-Star appearances as a Clipper. McAdoo started his Hall of Fame career when the franchise was in Buffalo, where he led the league in scoring three straight seasons and was MVP in 1974-75.
Leonard is just 51 games into his Clippers tenure, but his elite production already puts him on this roster. Averaging 26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists, a healthy Leonard can further validate this choice if he can get the Clippers to the conference finals for the first time.
-- Ohm Youngmisuk
Kawhi's ridiculous moments in his first season in LA
Kawhi Leonard has been everything the LA Clippers thought he'd be when he arrived. Check out some of his season's best highlights.
Los Angeles Lakers
G: Magic Johnson G: Jerry West G: Kobe Bryant F: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar C: Shaquille O'Neal
Four of these picks were no-brainers. Johnson (fifth in career assists) teamed up with Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's career scoring leader, to win five championships. Bryant (fourth all time in scoring) paired with O'Neal (eighth in scoring) to win three.
The fifth pick was harder. Is it Elgin Baylor, the greatest small forward in franchise history? Or how about LeBron James, the greatest small forward in NBA history? How about James Worthy, who teamed up with Magic and Kareem and won a Finals MVP?
Ultimately, the pick is West. Baylor never won a ring. James hasn't been a Laker long enough. Worthy would have to play the 4 and you already have Shaq and the Captain on the blocks. The Logo brings shooting and toughness and leadership, and he is extremely important to the franchise as a whole for his post-playing days in the front office.
-- Dave McMenamin
Memphis Grizzlies
G: Mike Conley G: Tony Allen F: Shareef Abdur-Rahim F: Zach Randolph C: Marc Gasol
The question with the Grizzlies: Who should be the final player to fill out a lineup that features the Grit 'n' Grind mainstays called the Core Four? (I'd make a joke about Chandler Parsons' max contract, but I want to be welcomed back to Memphis.)
Based purely on merit, Pau Gasol would be the pick, but he doesn't fit alongside his brother Marc at center and Randolph at power forward. So we will go with Abdur-Rahim, who was a really good player for some really bad teams in Vancouver, averaging 20.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game over five seasons in which the Grizzlies went a combined 86-292.
-- MacMahon
Minnesota Timberwolves
G: Ricky Rubio G: Sam Cassell F: Kevin Garnett F: Kevin Love C: Karl-Anthony Towns
The three best players in franchise history just all happen to be big men: Garnett, Love and Towns. Garnett is the franchise leader in points, rebounds, steals, assists and blocks; he's the only player in NBA history to lead a team in all five categories. Towns (22.7 points, 11.8 rebounds in 358 games) and Love (19.2 points, 12.2 rebounds in 364 games) each put up monster numbers, even though playoff success never came.
'The Last Dance' on ESPN
The 10-part Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance" is available on the ESPN App.
• Everything you need to know • Lowe: How Pippen lifted MJ's Bulls • Shelburne: Kobe and MJ's friendship • How to replay the series
(Side note: Towns is only 14 3-pointers away from becoming the franchise's all-time leader. Seriously.)
Rubio trails only Garnett in franchise history in steals and assists. Since Wally Szczerbiak and Andrew Wiggins were primarily listed as small forwards, the other guard spot goes to Cassell, who played only two years in Minnesota but had a career year and was a second-team All-NBA selection in 2003-04.
-- Andrew Lopez
New Orleans Pelicans
G: Chris Paul G: Jrue Holiday F: Jamal Mashburn F: David West C: Anthony Davis
(Just a reminder: The Pelicans' franchise history starts in 2002, when the team moved from Charlotte to New Orleans. Anything before that belongs to Charlotte, even though it's the same franchise. Got it? Cool, let's move on.)
First, the locks: Davis, Paul, Holiday and West. Now once you get to the wing ... oof. This spot came down to four players -- Mashburn, Peja Stojakovic, Eric Gordon and, yes, Brandon Ingram.
Mashburn, in the franchise's first season in New Orleans in 2002-03, made the All-Star team and was a third-team All-NBA selection. The Pelicans didn't get another All-Star selection from a wing player until this year, when Ingram made it. But with only 56 games under his belt, Ingram falls off this list. Gordon's time in New Orleans always seemed underwhelming. Stojakovic was a key cog on the 2007-08 team that won a franchise-best 56 games, but he struggled with injuries.
Mashburn was limited to 101 games for New Orleans, but his impact in Year 1 was unmistakable and he still sits second on the team's career scoring average list (21.5), behind only Davis.
-- Lopez
Oklahoma City Thunder
G: Russell Westbrook G: James Harden F: Kevin Durant F: Paul George F: Serge Ibaka
There's an irony to the Thunder's all-time starting five, because it features their best sixth man. The baggage of Harden's role looms large, whether he wanted to come off the bench, whether starting impacted his contract negotiations and ultimately facilitated the breakup of one of the greatest organically built superteams ever. That's a lot to unpack.
Hindsight and what-ifs aside, the Thunder's all-time group can stand with almost any in NBA history, and most certainly is among the most stout in the past 20 years. The Thunder have been around for just 12 years and boast a remarkable cupboard of talent: three MVPs (Durant, Westbrook, Harden) and piles of All-NBA and All-Star nods. Maybe one of the best examples of how deep they are is in showcasing who didn't make the cut: Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. Not a bad bench.
-- Young
Phoenix Suns
G: Steve Nash G: Kevin Johnson F: Walter Davis F: Charles Barkley C: Amar'e Stoudemire
No Shawn Marion? No Paul Westphal? No Alvan Adams? No Larry Nance? No Jason Kidd? You can make a solid starting five from the next group of Phoenix legends.
NBA season suspended
The NBA announced that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2019-20 season would be suspended effective March 12.
Latest news • Sources: NBA return gaining momentum • Love: Being back at facility 'uplifting' • NBA teams get OK to test players, staff • Full list of cancellations, suspensions
The franchise's two MVP winners, Nash and Barkley, were locks. Westphal split time as a point guard and shooting guard during his six seasons, but we give the nod at the other guard spot to Johnson, who spent 12 years in Phoenix, and had three consecutive 20-point, 10-assist seasons and five All-NBA nods.
Davis vs. Marion was a tough battle. Both made a pair of All-NBA teams (two second-teams for Davis compared to two third-teams for Marion), but Davis gets the edge as the franchise's leading scorer. At center, Stoudemire stands supreme as his four All-NBA honors best Adams' longevity.
-- Lopez
Portland Trail Blazers
G: Damian Lillard G: Clyde Drexler G: Brandon Roy F: LaMarcus Aldridge C: Bill Walton
As with any conversation about Blazers history, their starting five comes with plenty of introspective sighing and deep what-iffing. Injuries to Walton and Roy abbreviated what would've been legendary Portland careers. But at their best versions, Walton was a transcendent big man with unique skills, and Roy was a gifted scorer with a knack for the moment.
Drexler is a Hall of Famer who led Portland to its best sustained run of success in franchise history. Aldridge is one of the dominant scoring big men of his era, and Lillard will likely go down as the franchise's all-time best. The Blazers are haunted by history and a compulsion to live in the anguish of what could've been, but there is also a beauty to their all-time five. It represents who they are, and forever, what they might've been.
-- Young
Lillard's top 10 deepest 3s of the 2019-20 season
Logo Lillard can't be stopped beyond the arc; check out Damian Lillard's deepest 3-pointers this season.
Sacramento Kings
G: Oscar Robertson G: Tiny Archibald F: Peja Stojakovic F: Chris Webber C: Jerry Lucas
A Hall of Fame backcourt of Robertson and Archibald knocks Kings great Mitch Richmond out of one of the two guard spots. Lucas, another Hall of Famer, averaged 19.6 points and 19.1 rebounds in six seasons with the Cincinnati Royals. He gets the center position.
For the forwards, we look at two Kings from the early 2000s, when Sacramento was a perennial playoff team. Stojakovic is still the franchise's leader in 3-pointers made, and Webber averaged 23.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in 377 career games in Sacramento.
It feels weird not to have DeMarcus Cousins on the all-time Kings squad, but when you look back at the franchise's history -- which dates back to the Rochester Royals and their first year in the NBA in 1949 -- it becomes clearer why he doesn't make the cut.
-- Lopez
San Antonio Spurs
G: Tony Parker G: Manu Ginobili F: George Gervin F: Tim Duncan C: David Robinson
ESPN Daily podcast
Monday through Friday, host Mina Kimes brings you an inside look at the most interesting stories at ESPN, as told by the top reporters and insiders on the planet. Listen
It took about as long as the average Gregg Popovich sideline interview to come up with this squad. These were all easy decisions, considering each player's combination of greatness and longevity with the Spurs. (Kawhi Leonard would have been in strong consideration if not for the lack of the latter.)
Duncan and Robinson are on the short list of MVPs who played their entire careers for one franchise. Ginobili and Parker were essential parts of a dynasty. Gervin was a must-see superstar whose presence made sure that pro basketball stuck in small-market San Antonio.
-- MacMahon
Seattle SuperSonics
G: Gary Payton G: Gus Williams F: Detlef Schrempf F: Shawn Kemp C: Jack Sikma
Payton, Kemp and Sikma, the three players to make at least five All-Star appearances in Sonics uniforms, are the three certain selections here. At the other guard spot, there are strong cases for Fred Brown (who's second in career scoring) and Ray Allen (a four-time All-Star in Seattle), but Gus Williams' key role in the Sonics' 1979 championship and pair of All-NBA picks give him the nod.
Spencer Haywood reached greater heights and Rashard Lewis had more longevity, but with the last spot I'm going with Schrempf, whose versatile and efficient game was ahead of its time in the 1990s.
-- Kevin Pelton
Utah Jazz
G: John Stockton G: Pete Maravich F: Adrian Dantley F: Karl Malone C: Rudy Gobert
The Jazz's arena is located at the intersection of Stockton and Malone, with statues of the legends prominently featured out front, so we figured those guys should make the cut. Dantley was a historically elite scorer for the Jazz, averaging 29.6 points on 56.2% shooting and winning a pair of NBA scoring titles during his seven-season tenure in Utah.
Gobert gets the nod over fellow dominant defensive anchor Mark Eaton because he's a far superior offensive player and rebounder. It was difficult not to include Darrell Griffith, aka "Dr. Dunkenstein," but Pistol Pete was too productive (25.7 points and 5.7 assists per game) with the New Orleans Jazz to be left out. Top 10 of Who I want to appear in Scooby Doo and Guess Who
This new show of Scooby Doo it’s getting pretty good, and I love the guest stars at the moment. From celebrities (Pen and Tell) to fictional characters(Sherlock Holmes), ths makes this show amazing. It’s most positive to get a new season, so why not discuss who we would like to have in this show?
(You’re welcome yo add your Top 10 of star guess for this show)
10. The Golden Girls
Tumblr media
Altho we know the original and wonderfull actresses won’t be able to share their voices, returning as their roles in the tv show, I do feel it would be hilarious to have this gang of old ladies joining the mystery gang. Blanche would be very flirsty with Fred while Dorothy points out that he could be his grandson. Rose, naive and innocent would be the compleatly clueless and dog lover. And I’ll die to have Sophia say her famous quote “Picture it: Sicily 19538ish)”
9. The Mask/Stanley Ipkiss
Tumblr media
We are having the 90s comedi icon Steve Urkel back so why not another icon of black comedy. The Mask was one of my favorites for being so crazy, bonkers and unpredictable (the comic it’s way different tho). And I think the Mask himself could the main antagonist of the episode, and in the reveal could be Stanley (or not). I think it would be a great move to have this character back and redeem his image after what some movie producers has done to him (watch The Mask 2 to stand my point)
8.Anthony Anderson/Andre Dre Johnson from Blackish
Tumblr media
I’m getting grow with this man and his character of the show. I’ts strong, confident, he knows what he wants, but when he reacts of goes crazy mad it’s just... WOW!! His screams fits greatly with Scooby and Shaggy.
7. Gordon Ramsey
Tumblr media
Now this is a guest that Shaggy and Scooby would be delighted! One of the greatest cook, host of MasterChef and excellent food critict, but with the temper and the bittersweet personality that you don’t know if to hate him or to love him. If he DO appear, I’m begging to have him doing the sanwich talk to the antagonist; IT’S A MUST!!!
6.The Marx Brothers
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wasn’t born in the years of the black and white movies but I do enjoy them specially the comedies: that’s were I loved the Marx Brothers. Groucho, Harpo and Chico coud be involved to a time machime mystery or a hollywood thingy; any way I want to the two gang meet. Groucho’s sassy and flirty comedy (toward Daphne and Velma), Chico’s idiotic but sweet fun personality, and Harpo’s unpredictable way to crack us up it’s this kind of comedy that we need the new generation acknowleges this golden comedy.
5.Fran Drescher
Tumblr media
Remember the Nanny? Have you seen Happily Divorced? This woman nailed both shows with her charm and comedic style. I love specially her voice, it’s just perfect for a cartoon character!! (And her cartoon character of The Nanny intro doesn’t count)
4.Dick Dastardly and Muttey
Tumblr media
We already had The Funky Phantom introduced in the second episode, an Hanna Barbera tv series that was perfectly mixxed up with the Scooby Gang, so why not more characters from the same studios? Dick Dastardly and Muttey are a pair of malicious troublemakers that already starred three tv cartoon series as main antagonist. Remember the Wacky Races and The Flying Machines) I do want the gang meet this villian pair; maybe because they were framed of they are the main ghost or monster. I do think it would be interested to see Scooby with Muttey; Scoob would go to anything for a scooby snak, why the sneaky mutt for a medal.
3.Casper the Friendly Ghost
Tumblr media
With the Funky Phantom prooving that it’s possible to have REAL ghosts in this series, Casper it’s a must to be in! I loved this friendly ghost since the movie, and the tv show after this I ADORE IT! Don’t get me wrong, the first cartoon was adorable too, but the Spooktacular adventures were more comedic and more involve with Casper going far to be a goodie two shoes ghost. I do see the gang freaking out by this small ghost A LOT, but I can see clearly Velma don’t beliveing that Casper was actually a ghost, so they would help each other to solve the mystery. Seriously, I think Casper needs to get back in the 90s spirit way; never l liked his last tv show.
2.Will Smith/The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Tumblr media
I confess, I love Will Smith because of this show. And who doesn’t? This Will it’s all comedy and being bold and creative; this is material of Scooby and Shaggy’s classic scenes to fool them to get away. Of course flirting the girls it’s a must, and yes I also include Velma... (She’s still cute and valid, try to change my mind) But I think the best part it’s his scream. Seriously, when he screams it’s all strong and comedic; I specially love the MAMA NOOOO! I heard that’s not possible to have the show returning, so we can at least have this Will Smith cartoonized.
1.The Ghostbusters
Tumblr media
I loved the cartoons, the movies (including the new one)... I just think this would be great to add in the Scooby Doo show!! It’s a MUST!! Of course the main characters should to look like in the cartoons for sure. Of course, we’ll have Velma insisting that ghosts aren’t real and maybe she’ll point out the Ghostbusters to being a fraud, which Peter Venkman would pick on her with his charm. Egon would be genious contrast of Velma too. Winston would be more relaxed, I think... And Ray Stanz it’s like a magnet of weir events and accidents, can you imagine him with Scoob and Shaggy?! Hilarious!
Of course the villian get unmasked... But what if there was another thing involved and the Ghost busters take care of it at the end of the episode??+wink wink*
P.S.: Bill Murray voicing Peter, it’s also a must to happen!

BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS
Dir. JAY OLIVA; Wri. BOB GOODMAN; Music. CHRISTOPHER DRAKE; Starring. PETER WELLER, ARIEL WINTER, DAVID SELBY, MARK VALLEY, MICHAEL EMERSON, MICHAEL JACKSON, MARIA CANALS-BARRERA, GARY ANTHONY WILLIAMS, ROBERT ATKIN DOWNES, WADE WILLIAMS, MICHAEL McKEAN, JIM MESKIMEN, CONAN O’BRIEN; R.T. 148 mins (Parts 1&2 76 mins each); 2012/1013, USA
WHAT IT’S ABOUT:  Ten years after the forced retirement of Batman, Gotham City has descended into hell, crushed by a reign of terror perpetrated by the psychotic Mutant gang. Bruce Wayne (Weller) is now middle-aged and emotionally troubled, still wracked with remorse over the death of his protégé Jason Todd, but as the crime-wave reaches crisis levels he puts on the cowl once more, the Batman’s return sparking political controversy, a manhunt by a new, wholly unsympathetic police force, and the return of old enemies …
WHY IT’S AWESOME:  Batman has been my very favourite superhero since I was truly tiny – the hilariously camp 60s TV series with Adam West was a major Saturday-morning-rerun fixture of my childhood and went a long way towards introducing me to the genre alongside the comics, then Tim Burton showed me a more grown up Dark Knight on the big screen, just in time for the start of my adolescence, bolstered by the spectacular early 90s’ Animated Series.  But I finally, truly fell in love with billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne and his uncompromising crime-fighting alter ego when I discovered comic book legend Frank Miller’s glorious masterpiece The Dark Knight Returns – a four-part magnum opus that not only reinvented the character for a new generation but, alongside Alan Moore’s game-changer Watchmen, also helped turn the graphic novel into a storytelling art form that could be taken seriously. Needless to say when DC Entertainment finally got round to adapting it into a two-part animated feature film I was RIDICULOUSLY excited, and it was everything I hoped it would be – I only regret it’s something I never got the chance to experience on the big screen.   It’s a faithful interpretation that brings Miller’s work to vivid, vital life as surely as Rodriguez did on Sin City or Snyder on 300, perfectly capturing the larger-than-life scope but also the dark, gritty intensity of the material, and it’s telling that, when I re-watched this in the same week as the release of Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, it was the more expensive, supposedly far more illustrious live-action feature that suffered in comparison.  The lion’s share of the praise should go to director Jay Oliva, a seasoned pro at straight-to-video superhero adaptation who worked on many of the best of both DC and Marvel’s animated features and directed a fair few, including standout hits like The Invincible Iron Man, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and the recent Justice League Dark; of course, he outdid himself here, crafting a Dark Knight movie that EASILY stands up to its live-action counterparts (nice to see, then, that he’s now landed the gig helming Netflix’s new adap of underground hit comic book Trese).  There’s a cracking voice-cast on offer too – I can’t help thinking it would have been PARTICULARLY perfect if Mark Hamill had reprised his second most iconic role ever here, but Person of Interest star Michael Emerson has crafted a winningly chilling Joker, while veteran voice actor Ariel Winter is enjoyably sassy as Carrie Kelly, my personal favourite Robin, Dark Shadows star David Selby brings integrity and gravitas to the pivotal role of Gotham’s retiring police Commissioner Jim Gordon, and Boston Legal’s Mark Valley is very well cast indeed as that big blue boy-scout, Superman.  The true driving force, however, is OF COURSE Batman himself, and Peter Weller was a stroke of pure genius for the role – Frank Miller already did a magnificent job reinventing Bruce Wayne as a broken “war” veteran who only starts to live again when he returns to the fight, but it’s Weller, with his world-weary grunt and seductive growl, who really makes it so effortlessly BELIEVABLE.  Then there’s Christopher Drake’s score, truly the icing on a very rich cake – urgent, bombastic and very, very BIG, this is the kind of movie music that would be the envy of most major live-action blockbusters.  Altogether this is about as perfect a Batman movie as we could wish for, and take my word for it, it’s best viewed in one sitting – Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight remains the DEFINITIVE screen adaptation for me, but this may just be the PUREST.  Even The Lego Batman Movie can’t eclipse it …

Anat Cohen Tentet
Happy Song
Anzic, 2017
Anat Cohen: clarinet; Oded Lev-Ari: musical direction; Rubin Kodheli: cello; Nadje Noordhuis: trumpet, flugelhorn; Nick Finzer: trombone; Owen Broder: baritone sax, bass clarinet; James Shipp: vibraphone, percussion; Vitor Gonçalves: piano, accordion; Sheryl Bailey: guitar; Tal Mashiach: bass; Anthony Pinciotti: drums.
In his fascinating autobiography, Miles Davis once said that Gil Evans would call him on the phone now and then just to share a quick thought—you know, the kind of thing some people used to do before these random impulses were relegated to texts or Tweets. His classic example was a 3AM call where his longtime friend and collaborator rang to say "If you're ever depressed, Miles, just listen to 'Springsville,'" and just as abruptly hung up. Anat Cohen deserves such a story as well—not just because everyone should have such a friend in their life, but because her titular "Happy Song" is just the same kind of ray of sunshine that's worth waking someone up to share. The piece is adeptly expanded from its initial trio rendition on Luminosa (Anzic, 2015), beautifully encapsulating the spirit of this new ensemble and providing a perfect introduction to their wildly colorful debut. Not content to rest too long after a previous pair of enchanting Brazilian-themed recordings, the poly-faceted clarinetist follows up here in delightful fashion with a bigger musical palette and expanded group to match. Cohen's catalogue has always encompassed music all around the world, and the Tentet (well, the term just sounds more fun and informal than "dectet") is a crack team of fellow New York City players who share the same love of all-encompassing groove and swing. Alongside the ever-present South American element, Happy Song visits the golden age of Hollywood with a big-band Bix Beiderbecke romp, crosses over to west Africa with the infectious rhythmic trance of "Kenedougou Foly," and shows the leader's native roots by using a klezmer piece as the loose basis for its dramatic extended centerpiece. Her fleet clarinet twines with some fuzzy guitar in the slow-burner of "Trills and Thrills," a wailing jam contributed by musical director Oded Lev-Ari. He isn't counted as one of the ten, but he's as vital in shaping the album's form as anyone else; the arrangements are wonderfully adroit in using all the players without ever feeling crowded. Even with a couple thoughtful lulls in "Trills" and Gordon Jenkins' "Goodbye," Happy Song bounces and swings with all the warmth its title promises. It shows Anat Cohen's wide-ranging mind and instrumental prowess as expansive as ever, and it's a vibrantly joyous affair indeed.

NBA 2021-2022 season preview part 1!
Tumblr media
With pre-season underway, it’s time to give an overall preview of the NBA season. There’s too many headlines to cover aside from the usual Lakers and Nets. Both are the favorites in their respective conference, with the Nets being the overwhelming favorites to win it all.
But what about the other playoff contending teams? Teams like the Warriors, Mavericks, Heat, Celtics, Sixers, and others all want to bounce back from a disappointing season.
Also, what about non-playoff teams that need to make a postseason appearance such as the Bulls, Timberwolves, and the Pelicans? These few teams have made big commitments to their roster, but with no success on the court. Let’s talk about these teams first.
Tumblr media
The Bulls will be the most interesting team to monitor from the Eastern conference. Last season, they made a big splash to acquire Nikola Vucevic. All eyes were set on the Bulls to crack the playoffs, most definitely the play-in tournament. To no luck, Zach Lavine contracted the coronavirus and was sidelined for nearly the rest of the season.
Their front office, as we all know, turned this team around. They added Lonzo Ball, Demar Derozan, Alex Caruso, Derrick Jones Jr, and more. It’s a compilation of “win-now” moves that the Bulls need to seize.
Tumblr media
This will be Karl-Anthony Towns 7th season in the league and with an amassed one playoff win, it doesn’t show much. It feels like every year, the T-wolves finish near dead last in the standings except for that Jimmy Butler year.
Perhaps KAT does not give in to winning as much as others. If he’d rather be on a losing team, then so be it. Nothing wrong with that. However, I don’t think team management would see eye to eye with KAT. They probably think their roster is playoff ready. With D’angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards to be healthy and better than last year, the T-Wolves should make the play-in.
Tumblr media
As we all know, Zion is the face of the Pelicans, for now. It’s been two years of Zion in New Orleans to no success. Playoffs that is. Critics are saying it’s the front office and others saying it’s the roster, but I think it’s probably both.
There’s a bit of ambiguity with Zion’s relationship with Pelicans GM David Griffin. Are they on good terms? Is Zion’s camp satisfied with Griffin’s roster moves?
Last year, the Pelicans were a lock to make the play-in but failed to do so. They also lost a much improved Lonzo Ball, who had a great relationship with Zion. It seems like the Pelicans want Zion to move the ball up more, which can be a double-edged sword.
Overall, the Pelicans have not satisfied Zion’s young career. With a big star like him yet to make the playoffs, it’s definitely time for the Pelicans to wake up and make him feel like home. Also, having him sign his rookie extension would be a huge plus. However, there is uncertainty with that.
Although the T-wolves, Pelicans and Bulls are considered young teams, they are on the path to potentially make the playoffs. However, there are plenty of teams in the league who finish near the bottom of the standings. We’ll get to those teams now.
I think it’s safe to assume the Thunder, Rockets, Cavs, Pistons, and Magic are on a tier of their own. All of them finished towards the bottom of the standings last season and are predicted to finish the 2021-2022 season in similar fashion.
The primary goal for these teams is to develop their young cores. Top picks in the previous draft such as Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs and Evan Mobley will be closely monitored all year with no playoff expectation, but rather to see if their game will translate to the NBA level and beyond.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Rockets can do with their three first round picks and a plethora of young players already on the roster like Kevin Porter Jr, Desean Tate, Josh Christopher and Christian Wood. They’ll also be a team to monitor come the trade deadline with Eric Gordon, John Wall, Danuel House and even Christian Wood to be targets for other teams.
The Cavs are also a team to look out for come the trade deadline. Do they get rid of Kevin Love? Collin Sexton? Both their names have been circled in trade talks. Especially in Ben Simmons trade talks.
I have a list of teams whom I don’t know how to assess. These teams are the Spurs, Raptors, Hornets, Pacers, and Kings. Are they in the playoff hunt or are they destined to be subpar yet again?
Tumblr media
There is no doubt the Hornets surprised a lot of folks. It felt like it was Lamelo’s second or third year in the league because he was playing team basketball. This team can be good enough to crack the play-in, but that’s about it. I’m not quite optimistic about Kelly Oubre and Gordon Hayward on the same team. Both are decent starters but occupy the same position.
Tumblr media
With the Spurs getting rid of Demar Derzon, it was clear the Spurs were focused on developing their young core. However, they did receive Thaddeus Young, who is seen as a complimentary player. Obviously, the Spurs could have received draft compensation or young assets but Young will turn 33 this upcoming NBA season. He could be a vet that definitely fits well with the roster.
With Derozan gone, the court is now opened up for players like Gold Medalist Keldon Johnson, sharpshooter Doug McDermott and others to play the SG/SF more while Young fits in smoothly in the PF role.
Tumblr media
Another team to lose a former all-star is the Toronto Raptors. With Kyle Lowry traded, everyone seemed to forget the Raptors got Goran Dragic in return. Not the defensive beast/shot creator/playmaker as Lowry, but a walking bucket for sure.
Although the Raptors were a win away from playing in the Eastern Conference finals against the Heat in 2020, there is some doubt stirring that Siakam is being shopped. Not sure what is going on in the Raptors front office but their roster looks like a playoff roster. With the subtraction of Lowry, I don’t see them making a deep playoff run. Also, with Scottie Barnes to play the SF/PF role, who’s to say Siakam gets shipped by the trade deadline?
Yes, the Raptors played in Tampa and were riddled with Covid throughout the season, which ultimately messed up the team. Give the Raptors a healthy season playing in Toronto and they’ll definitely be in the play-in hunt.
The Pacers and Kings are very similar teams. Yet, the Pacers have made the playoffs a few times whereas the Kings haven’t since the early 2000’s. Give the Kings a break. They’ve been in a much more competitive Western conference and usually finished around the 9th and 10th spot, where their record could’ve given them a 7th or 8th spot in the East.
Tumblr media
Similar to the Raptors, the Pacers have been riddled with injuries. It feels as if they’ve had solid role players get injured every year now. I would love to see a fully healthy Pacers roster with Domantas Sabonis, Caris Levert, Malcom Brogdon, TJ Warren and Myles Turner on the floor.
Tumblr media
The Kings just need a bit of luck to crack the play-in. However, the West has gotten a bit deep and with the Kings roster, I don’t think it’s enough. Trading for Simmons would be a double edged sword because I’d rather have the ball in D’aron Fox’s hands and hence, Simmons would be worthless on the offensive end. However, Simmons can be the defensive anchor the Kings desperately need.
I predict the Kings to have another below average season unless they get busy with trades. I’d try hard to build around Fox and Tyrese Haliburton as they would be my only untouchables on the roster.

2021 Fantasy RB Sleepers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the lack of reliable tight ends in fantasy football, each year will see at least a few breakouts rise from the lower depths of the rankings to claim a top-12 fantasy finish. Last season, Robert Tonyan finished as the TE3 in standard and PPR formats. (Don’t pretend like you knew who Tonyan was coming into the season.) Remember Jared Cook charting a career year (TE5) in ‘18 at 31? If you need more evidence, we can go back further. See none other than Delanie Walker, then a long-time 49ers backup. In 2013, He signed a four-year deal with Tennessee for an average salary of 4.4 million dollars -- chump change for an NFL player. And what did he do with that opportunity? He became a reliable upper-tier fantasy starter for the next five seasons, finishing as high as TE2 in PPR formats. All of these players were barely on the sleeper radar, never mind highlighted on draft cheat sheets. So, now that it’s been established sleeper tight ends emerge every season, it’s important to figure out how to identify them. Sometimes, TEs set to see an expanded role in an offense, perhaps because another TE or key WR left or because a new offensive coordinator is in town, are prime sleeper targets. You could also look at TEs who got a QB upgrade in the offseason. New opportunities can yield new results -- even for old players. This year's list features Irv Smith Jr., Anthony Firkser, and Adam Trautman, all of whom figure to step into a more significant roles in their respective offenses. Blake Jarwin and O.J. Howard, who are more or less afterthoughts due to major injuries sustained last season, also merit watching as they try to bounce back. Someone like Cole Kmet isn't necessarily in a "new situation," but we still expect him to take a big leap forward in his sophomore season and overtake Jimmy Graham as Chicago's primary TE.If you're in a shallow league, most of these guys won't even be on your radar. It's more likely someone like Dallas Goedert, Tyler Higbee, or Jonnu Smith/Hunter Henry would be considered "sleepers," but for most leagues, the tight ends below are the players to target in the middle and late rounds. That's where these types of TEs will be patiently waiting to be claimed. That’s the beauty of the position -- many of these sleepers are still cheap! If they don’t plan out, your season isn’t lost. Even if you take a "good" starter earlier, it's still smart to take a flier on the sleeper tight end late. Remember, there are only a handful of players at the position who can be trusted every week, so giving yourself options makes sense. Javonte Williams, Broncos Williams will be competing with veteran Melvin Gordon for touches, but even if the talented rookie isn't starting in Week 1, he has more long-term potential because of his explosiveness. In his final season at North Carolina, Williams totaled 1,445 yards and 22 TDs while averaging 7.9 yards per touch. The Broncos offense has a lot of talent but also a lot of question marks. Williams can be a stabilizing force if the coaching staff lets him. It would be foolish to completely write off the 28-year-old Gordon, who posted 1,144 total yards, 4.6 yards/carry, and 10 TDs last year, but Denver drafted Williams early in the second round for a reason. Gus Edwards, Ravens Everyone is excited about JK Dobbins this year -- and deservedly so -- but don't sleep on Edwards. He's posted at least 700 yards and averaged at least 5.0 yards/carry in each of his three seasons, so you know he's going to produce on the ground. With Mark Ingram gone, his path to production is even more open. He might not crack double-digit receptions, but it wouldn't be a complete shock if Edwards wound up getting more touches than Dobbins and starred in the Ravens backfield. Either way, he's being undervalued in drafts. Consider Edwards more of a 1B to Dobbins' 1A than merely a traditional handcuff. Michael Carter, Jets Kmet is poised to take over the keys from Jimmy Graham at TE1 in the Bears offense. While Kmet didn't see a ton of volume last year (44 targets), he ranked fourth at the position in true catch rate at 94 percent. True catch rate is the total number of receptions divided by total number of catchable targets. With Andy Dalton or Justin Fields on the field, passing volume and catchable targets are likely to point upward. Chicago traded Anthony Miller to Houston, opening up more potential targets for Kmet. If Fields is as good as the Bears think he can be, Kmet may serve as a reliable target in an emerging offense. Phillip Lindsay, Texans David Johnson had a surprise bounce-back season last year, posting 1,005 total yards and eight TDs while averaging a career-high 4.7 yards/carry in 12 games. Even so, the Texans picked up Lindsay in the offseason, and fantasy owners shouldn't ignore him. Lindsay started his career with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons before struggling in an injury-plagued 2020. Lindsay still has a career 4.8 yards/carry average, and despite his size (5-8 ,190 pounds), he's a tough inside runner. Johnson might begin the season as Houston's starter, but given his injury history and age (29), Lindsay could wind up outproducing him for the season. Don't let Lindsay fall too far behind Johnson in drafts. Jamaal Williams, Lions Williams was consistently solid in his four years with the Packers, but he rarely starred outside of the occasional good game. Now with Detroit, he'll once again work in a complementary role (behind D'Andre Swift), but the Lions have a strong offensive line and very little going for them in the receiving game. That should open up more opportunities for Williams, both as a runner and a pass-catcher. It will likely take a Swift injury for Williams to really go off, but he's capable of outproducing his ADP and being an every-week flex, at least in PPR formats. AJ Dillon, Packers When a guy is 6-0, 247 pounds and has both "Quadfather" and "Quadzilla" listed on hisPFR pageas nicknames, you want to give him your full attention. Dillon didn't playmuch as a third-string rookie last year, but he did average 5.3 yards/carry in limited action and went off in the one games where he did get significant touches, posting a 21-124-2 line in a Week 16 game against Tennessee. With Jamaal Williams gone, Dillon takes over the primary backup role to Aaron Jones, so he's primed for 120-plus carries. At last year's rate, that would yield around 700 rushing yards and a five-to-six TDs. The potential is there for more with the supremely talented Dillon even in a backup role, and if anything happens to Jones, look out. Dillon would immediately vie for top-10 consideration. Tony Pollard, Cowboys Pollard has played well in his first two seasons, averaging 4.8 yards/carry and showcasing solid receiving skills. When Ezekiel Elliott out in Week 15, Pollard took advantage, running 12 times for 69 yards and two scores against the 49ers. With Elliott coming off a down year, it's fair to wonder if Pollard will see more touches, and in Dallas's high-powered offense, even 10 touches per game would give him flex value. If Elliott gets hurt, Pollard's value would really take off. If you draft Elliott, be prepared to overpay for Pollard because he's the type of backup other owners will draft in the middle rounds, too. Trey Sermon, 49ers Sermon had a decent college career split between Oklahoma and Ohio State, but he saved his best performances for the Big 10 Championship and Sugar Bowl last year, rushing for a combined 524 yards and three TDs while adding another 65 receiving yards on seven catches. The 6-1, 215-pound Sermon ran a 4.57 40-yard dash and doesn't wow with any other measurables, but you know if he gets consistent touches in the 49ers system, he'll be productive. Raheem Mostertwon't stay healthy, and even if he does, we know San Francisco will use multiple ball carriers. Wayne Gallman will probably more involved than any of us want, but Sermon still has major breakout potential. Justin Jackson, Chargers Jackson is just as likely to get cut as he is have a good year, so proceed with caution here. That said, the Chargers need a true "lead back" to complement receiving ace Austin Ekeler, and last year's popular rookie sleeper, Joshua Kelley, repeatedly flopped in his attempts to take over the lead role when Ekeler was hurt (3.2 yards/carry). Perhaps Kelley will bounce back and get first crack at the 1B job, but Jackson outplayed him last year (when he wasn't missing seven games because of toe, quad, and knee injuries). Jackson averaged 4.6 yards/carry (4.9 for his career) and caught 19 passes for 173 yards in a similar campaign as his rookie season. It's tough get too excited about Jackson, but someone figures to emerge in this backfield. If it's not Jackson or Kelley, then you're looking at sixth-round rookie Larry Rountree III, who produced well in his career at Mizzou (5.0 yard/carry, 40 TDs). For now, we'll err on the side of the veteran. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots The 6-0, 231-pound Stevenson might very well be on the inactive list early in the season (he is a Patriots RB after all), but he has upside if he finds his way into the lineup. The Patriots are notorious for shenanigans with their RBs, and even though Damien Harris looks to be "the guy" in New England, no one would be shocked Stevenson started stealing carries or being used as a goal-line hammer. Sevenson averaged 7.2 yards/carry and scored 13 TDs in 19 career games at Oklahoma, and he even showed some receiving chops with 18 catches and 211 yards in just six games last year. He presents the kind of unique skillset Bill Belichick loves to use, so fantasy owners should have him high on their watchlists. Jake Funk/Xavier Williams, Rams Does anyone really trust Darrell Henderson to last the full season as the Rams' feature back? Maybe he will -- or maybe L.A. will sign a veteran like Le'Veon Bell or Todd Gurley -- but until they pick up someone else, undrafted Jones and seventh-round pick Funk are the most likely candidates to siphon carries. The former is a 5-10, 229-pound bruiser who scored 18 TDs in 15 games his final two seasons at Ball State. Huntley is a 5-9, 196-pound speedster 2,347 rushing yards, 20 catches, 185 receiving yards, and 17 total TDs in two seasons at Louisville. They could form a solid thunder-and-lightning duo if given the chance, but as it stands, Hawkins is a little more interesting due to his versatility and speed. Read the full article
