Ideal creative space

I’ve been so behind with my latest shop update, but perhaps that’s not all bad. I’ve been working quite a few new bits that I’ll be releasing all at once in the coming weeks.

HOW do you get your pictures to be so HQ? i thought my bg3 photography was good but holy shit the CLARITY on these? 😭

Haha TY so much for the compliment. It's honestly all thanks to Frans Bouma's Software/Camera Tools along with the assistance of Reshade. I'll share a link below for both along with a brief explanation.

Otis_Inf Photomode/Camera Tool essentially unlocks a whole new level of taking in-game photos. Ranging from free cams, time control, and my favorite, resolution scaling. Basically it can push your game past your monitors limitations and hot sample at a higher resolution (aka clarity). To gain access to his tools, all you need to do is become a Patreon member, to which I cannot stress enough, is worth every penny. Check out his About tab to see the list of games his photo-mode tool covers!

ReShade is my second weapon for in-game photography, allowing me to use filters, depth of field effects, color correction and many more. I use a variety of custom ReShader packs, including Otis' custom ReShade shaders. Saves me butt loads of time in post and it's free! Of course, if you end up loving them, I would also recommend supporting them on Patreon.

Final Notes to all those who take in-game photography/virtual photography. It's not needed to have fancy gadgets or the best gaming setup to take beautiful shots. Our art is our craft, and there is no right or wrong way to do it. As long as you love what you do and have fun with it, that's all that matters. <3

It is hard to get a good picture because of the light coming in the window, but that is why I have put my machines there. I need more light to see what I am sewing. We have finished the big puzzle so I have my sewing table back so trying something new. I think this should work.

A Beautiful Work Week!

Flowing through flow state all week long 🍃! As an artist I split time between my studio and my coworking space, Oakstop. I love the balance and it really works well for me, but I will always be one of those office people who have oil paint stains on their fingers lol.

I HAVE. CREATIVE SPACE.

It took 2 hours of moving things around, sorting a little bit, and some Putting Up of Art, but my craft corner of the main floor is done! (for now)

I have two desks, same height, almost same length, but of differing widths. I had my wire storage cubes on top of the widest one, and a bunch of little stacking storage and containers on the skinnier one. This left me pretty much NO room to create anything.

I've moved the cubes to the skinny one, and moved it against the wall, and the wider one has PLENTY of space now for me to stage projects I'd like to finish soon. That one's in front of the windows, so I can open the curtain if I need more light during the day.

There's no longer a LOOMING pile of intimidating craft supplies that tower over my head. It's all lower than eye level and that gives me a real sense of being able to use the stuff. (I found SO MUCH tube paint. SO MUCH. I'm gonna use some on some experimentation art!)

Here's some art I've made and also a couple cards I got from @vincentbriggs a couple years ago. The painting is by my IRL friend GOO @ Beasts Underneath

Everything under the wider table in front of the curtains is YARN. There are 2 small clear bins, 3 larger clear bins, a blue storage bin of WIPs, and every grocery bag and storage cube under that table you can see is a WIP.

BUT NOW. I have a clear chair, a lot of surface area to create, and everything is neatly stored, labeled, and visible.
