Went out with my brother for St. Patrick’s Day. The Fish-tival Grunion Run was a spectacle I have desired to see since 1991 when I first watched "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead". This is a gentle reminder to try to not overstep or overload yourself by taking too much on your shoulders. Keep breathing and take a moment or 2 every day to breathe with attention and tuning into your daily tasks and feel if you are still aligned with the energy and time you truly have and the tasks you are creating for yourself. Make sure to not overwhelm yourself before it’s too late. No one wants you to get burned out. Listen closely to the signals of your body, eat healthy and get enough rest. Even though the days are getting longer and brighter, it’s still winter. Be gentle with your revitalized energy levels. We do not serve the world or ourselves by exhausting our system, or taking too much on our plate. Let us nurture ourselves and stay true to what is truly needed to stay peaceful and still vitalized to get shit done and feel content.
