Hot take: Lord Osen is also queer. He knew the rumours about Dannyl and his relationship with Tayend were true and encouraged him to ‘cherish and enjoy’ their ‘friendship’. He also gave Dannyl the perfect excuse to leave Kyralia and live in Elyne permanently where his gayness wouldn’t be used against him.

This only a week after Lorlen died. Lorlen who he was obviously in love with. If this isn’t queers supporting queers idk what is.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

ASOIAF: Lyanna was absolutely kidnapped by Rhaegar, no way was that a love match no matter what the show might say.

Star Wars: Han and Leia were good parents and Kylo Ren was not their fault at all.

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?

I prefer books to be honest, always have done. Although if there is a particularly good moment in a movie or tv show that isn’t in the book then I’ll probably use that as well.

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?

Well for Star Wars I wrote/ am writing two cracky fics, Ventess’ Family and Accidental Baby Acquisition: The Obi-Wan Kenobi Way.

As for ASOIAF? Does the Stark siblings mocking Jon for being called ‘Little Crow’ count? And there are a few utterly ridiculous fics as well I suppose.

O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

Second Chance by Shinedown, it reminds me so much of Theon, mostly for the line ‘tell my mother, tell my father, I’ve done the best I can’ because ouch

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

1) More of Robb Stark being acknowledged for how intelligent he actually is (everyone seems to make him an idiot and I don’t get it). 2) More of Sansa’s skills being acknowledged for how useful they actually are and how important they are rather than being seen as ‘frivolous’. 3) More of Tyrion and Sandor being acknowledged as also being Sansa’s abusers instead of as ‘love interests’

G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?

First one was Dannyl x Tayend from the Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan, first ship I ever read fic for as well.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

All the Stark siblings! Also Sansa and Shae, the protectiveness and care between them is awesome.

Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?

The Batman fandom I guess, I’ve only seen the Dark Knight movies but have managed to pick up stuff about the wider Batman universe from stuff on my dash.

J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)

Good Omens definitely, and the Witcher as well. I started watching both because of the fandoms I saw on tumblr first.

I would like to say that being anti-SorMik or not supporting other homosexual pairings in Tales of Zestiria does not make a person homophobic. It simply means that the fan does not like that particular couple or those specific pairings. 

It also does not mean that person hates yaoi, yuri, shoujo-ai or shounen-ai; they may well have other homosexual couples they ship in Tales of Zestiria and other fandoms.

In my case, I am not homophobic and I am in favour of LGBT. I have homosexual pairings I like in other fandoms such as Touya x Yukito from the manga/anime series Cardcaptor Sakura and Tayend of Tremmelin x Dannyl from the fantasy book series the Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan. I am not keen on yaoi, yuri, shoujo-ai or shounen-ai but as you can see above, there are a few homosexual ships I support.

Hey! I've been working on a comic based on a beautiful BMT fanfic. I'm posting it here on tapas (upper link). Give it a chance if you love BL or if you're a BMT fan (specially of the Dannyl/Tayend couple❤)

I’ve decided to check out the few BMT fanfics that I could find and share those I like on the blog. I think all of them are a few years old but I don’t care, lets reanimate the fandom for a little bit one more time.

Here you are with the first fanfic I read, short (like, really short) Dannyl x Tayend one shot. You can have it instead of a cookie with your tea and it’s gonna be just as sweet in the end OwO

Also riffling through the fics I realized for the first time how big is the lgbt aspect in the series, which made me think why I didn’t notice it earlier. Why some people whom I recommended the books and who usually would criticize including homosexual characters in a story still loved the books and criticized nothing? Than I realized maybe it’s because T. Canavan wrote them to be meaningful but at some point ordinary (like, normal) characters, not a comic relief or a sidekick. I think that’s really great and something important we can learn from the books :)
