Hey, I don't know if this is something you answer on your blog, but I was wondering how you gifmakers store/keep all the things you need to make gifs? Do you have a external harddisk where all your gifs, photoshop files, videos, templates and such are on, or do you use mega drive, google drive, dropbox? Or do you just have it on your computer? I'm making gifs myself and I find it hard to figure out the best solution for storeing everything, so I was just wondering what other gifmakers do

A nato si tyhle firmy už netroufnou protože vědí že tam už nedosáhnou do té Číny Na tohle by se měli čeští piráti zaměřit. A vlastně všechny pirátské evropské  strany. 

Nemyslím zrovna na to že si můžete objednat z Číny harddisk plný nových her, ale aby na ten abondoware. Aby byl abondoware plně chráněn. Když už se rozhodne ta firma zcela opustit to co vytvořila, nadále to nehodlá podporovat nebo se to dostane do šedé zóny, aby to nemohla jednoduše tu hru vymazat z existence. Protože si osobně si myslím že když ta firma na tu hru sere, tak nemá žádné morální právo to jakkoliv znepřístupňovat. Buď to uvede do stavu kdy to může znovu nabídnout k prodeji neb má smolíka a nemůže se divit že si lidi k tomu budou hledat jiné cesty. Víte, že třeba Universal si může držet práva na filmovou licenci Doom, ale prostě s tím musí jednou za čas něco udělat? Proto vznikl před pár lety ten další filmový Doom, jenom kvůli tomuhle. My laptop smoked itself earlier today and I lost everything on it, including my entire Inuyasha folder EXCEPT my planning/writing, like thank GOD. The lost episodes, movies and manga can be downloaded again, but... I also lost my entire collection of fanart and screenshots that has accumulated for almost 20 years, including the many pdfs and articles I collected for research. I had it all on backup on a USB stick for ages, but deleted that yesterday because I needed some memory space very quickly, thinking that „oh, I can just copy the files over again by the end of the week“. Yeah, apprently I can‘t. This legitimately feels unreal. What the fuck. Been trying to get my laptop running again for the past 6 hours, but it just won‘t boot back up. The laptop is legitimately gone, because there‘s most likely a fatal hardware problem going on. Restoring this info from the harddisk by a professional is way too expensive so... I guess this is it. An entire collection of thousands of pictures, trapped in this hardware forever because of a stupid miscalculation on my end.

To say that I‘m devastated would be an understatement. I am beyond furious. I have always been so, so careful to have a backup and the one time I don‘t... I lose the entire thing. I should‘ve put it all on Drive when I had the chance.

Fucking hell.

I‘m just glad that all of my really important „real life“ stuff is on a separate laptop I use for school/work. But man. I feel like I have a hole in my gut and heart rn. I‘m so angry at my impulsive self. I trusted the laptop to pull through even though it‘s been slowly dying since the last update.
