fun fact: the first time I played Skyrim, I went into it less than blind. My only other experience with video games had been Mario Kart with an elementary school friend, Skylanders, and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on my dad’s old computer. Of course, I was vaguely aware that the game had dragons in it and the memes about it had been around for as long as I had been on the internet. This was total and complete summary of my awareness about the game.

My roommate however, who had lent me her copy of the game to make a new save file on, loved it dearly and was very eager to watch me play for the first time.

Some several hours in and I finally began the Dark Brotherhood quests. We all know how it goes: contact Aventus, kill some old hag, receive a very spooky letter. Strange letter arrives and my interest is now thoroughly piqued. My roommate is thrilled. She loves the Dark Brotherhood questline and is very eager to see my reactions to it. Unfortunately, I’m not entirely sure what to do with the letter so I put it into my inventory and continue about my day, relatively assured that whatever happens next in the quest will happen naturally.

Time goes by and I still confused about the nature of the letter. Nothing has happened since and I’m beginning to wonder if I’ve encountered one of the many infamous bugs of this game. Unbeknownst to me, my poor roommate has begun to realize that I may be dumber than i look and there is a very little chance of me actually getting into a bed at literally any point in this playthrough.

After several instances of me choosing to stand outside a shop and wait for 12 hours instead of finding a bed and sleeping in it like a normal person, my poor roommate finally caves and just tells me to go lie down already please

I did like the Dark Brotherhood quest and feel very bad for my roommate and for me that it took so long to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do

Delphine Dora Delphine Dora is a French musician, composer and improviser. Working mainly with keyboard instruments (piano, pipe organ, electronic keyboard…), her music has been enriched in recent years by the addition of field recordings to her compositions. The voice is also one of her favourite instruments, at times drawing on the language of poets, at other times on an imaginary language, a language freed of all signifiers, a voice that is fragile and embodied, archaic, mystical and free, but also plural and mutant voices that are embodied in her. On stage, she uses instruments such as the piano, organ or keyboards, and her voice, loops, various effects and mysterious sounds. Her performances are usually improvised, using voice and acoustic or electronic instrumentation, depending on the context and the place. Just passing by to say that I really admire your work as a writer 🙈 and I would like to know how you organize your ideas and how you decide to discard something for something else that you find more interesting. One of the coolest changes I thought you made was giving Paul delphine 😅 I really like their interaction 💚

I wish I could say I'm organized, but I'm actually super disorganized. X'D Whenever I try to be more organized by having separate documents, my OCD brain goes nuts trying to organize things to perfection, and then my ADHD brain loses focus. So, I keep everything pretty much in one document. I organize things by Heading in Word Docs, so that way it shows up in a cute side bar on the side of the document. It's labeled by Chapter One, Chapter Two, etc., and then things like: Random Notes, Giedilith Language, Specific Plot Points, and Unused Scenes. This way, it's all in one place and I don't get overwhelmed.

As far as discarding, I never truly 100% discard something. If I've written a scene that no longer fits for the current narrative, I add it to my Unused Scenes section in my doc. I 99.9% of the time reuse scenes, this why they still get life. I put a lot of value in written words, so I try not to throw anything away unless I absolutely have to. The same goes for plot points. Just because I'm not using Plot A anymore doesn't mean I can't incorporate it into Plot B with a new skin.

And then as far as Delphine goes, that was an interesting change. Initially, Delphine was supposed to stay an antagonistic figure and Isca was going to be Eurydice's companion. But the more I sat on Delphine, I realized I didn't like the idea of having a one dimensional bully archetype. And the more I thought about her, the more inspired I became. She fully fledged herself as a character in my mind. And then her interacting with Paul started off as a joke in my brain, then became a, yup, I'm doing it.

When it comes to writing, there's two categories: architect and gardener. For the most part, I do pre-plan and build specific plot points and goals. Like, I always knew Eurydice was going to end up Giedi Prime. But how she ended up there was a garden, where it grew authentically. The same applies to Delphine's growth and future plot points. It's my brain having creative liberties and I'm just here for the ride.

Queen Enchantress strongly believes in a prophecy that claims Elina will be the sole saviour of Fairytopia. SIKE, Elina may play a significant role in saving Fairytopia, but she won't accomplish it on her own. Her husband, who's happened bigger ex notorious villain than LAVERNA in the past, is right by her side in this adventure.

P.s: He didn't like this bullshit and ready to throw hands at everyone

Do you ever wonder why Enchantress, who is The Queen that rules over the biggest kingdom in Fairytopia realm, always seems weak and not as determined as her older twin sister Laverna? Who's constantly trying to take over the throne forcefully because she wants to be adored by the other fairies.

Meanwhile, Enchantress possesses incredible magical powers just like Laverna and has even given magical necklaces to her seven guardian fairies, each one responsible for protecting a different territory. With such power, it seems like defeating Laverna should be easy, especially since her only biggest allies is Fungus and his clones.

But wait! Here's the twist: In all three Barbie FairyTopia movies, Enchantress is easily deceived thus fails to protect herself also her kingdom from Laverna and Fungus. At first glance, it looks like Enchantress is just as unfit to rule as her sister.

However, before we label her as foolish, there's something you should know. Enchantress actually has her own secret agenda, known only to a few fairies, including her and her seven guardians. It revolves around a secret prophecy.

The secret prophecy tells the story of a special fairy who is born without wings, but has a shimmering rainbow light in her eyes. According to the prophecy, this fairy is destined to defeat Laverna, who wants to take over the throne of the kingdom of Chantria and finally takeover all other kingdom then rule over Fairytopia.

This prophecy is so important that the Queen of Chantria has forbidden her seven fairy guardians from fighting against Laverna. Instead, they are searching for the fairy mentioned in the prophecy.

They finally discovered the chosen fairy, named Elina, who lives in a place called Fairy Meadow, which other fairies from different areas know as Magic Meadow. Elina's parents were important figures and close friends of the seven fairy guardians. However, Elina's mother passed away from an illness, and her father tragically died just a month later.

Due to the strict commands of the Queen Enchantress, the fairy guardians were not allowed to directly interact with Elina, unless Laverna initiated an attack.

The Queen was afraid that any interaction with Elina could alter the predetermined fate determined by the prophecy. As a result, Elina was cared for by a giant flower named Peony, who lived with her in Magic Meadow.

 

In secret, Topaz, the guardian fairy of the Magic Meadow or Fairy Meadow, watched from afar as Elina grew older and finally reached adulthood. It was around a year after Elina became an adult elf that Laverna launched her attack on the kingdom of Chantria.

 

This attack confirmed the prophecy, assuring the safety of the seven fairy guardians and the Enchantress. Despite Laverna's threat to poison the air in Chantria and Fairytopia, rendering winged creatures unable to fly, the guardians and the Enchantress believed that the destined fairy would save them all.

However, there was a hidden twist. Delphine, the Oracle, discovered a new prophecy that could overshadowed the previous one. According to the new prophecy, a creature resembling a male wingless fairy would emerge.

This creature would be twice the height of a regular fairy, covered in black tattoos, and possess a more muscular physique. It was foreseen that this creature would join forces with the destined fairy to defeat Laverna and save the Fairytopia

or, they might end up ruling Fairytopia together, with the creature as an emperor and the destined fairy as his empress.

She hesitated to call herself a knight or even a member of his inner circle. She came to Mos Espa as a stranger from the desert. The shifting sand clung to her clothes, paling them as she stalked through the town square with her hood up. She said nothing, and hardly stood out perusing the stalls for her next meal. Unassuming. Typical of a Tatooinian. But when she saw the assassination attempt on the Daimyo's life, she showed no hesitation or mercy in defending him. She didn't even know who he was. So she stayed. Through the games of the mayor, the betrayal of the gotras, and the standoff with the Pykes. She proved loyal, dependable, clever, and kind. Everything he needed in a left hand. Yet unlike with Fennec, he found himself drawn to her charm in a way he hesitated to label as the same kind of amiable friendship he shared with the Master Assasin. No - with Delphine, they seemed more like kindred spirits. Two halves of a whole, their experiences so similar, it must have been some strange twist of fate that brought them together.

And here he thought he'd never believe in such things.

"You were here long before I was. And you will be here long after I am gone."

Ah, and there it was again. The bitter reminder that this whole business arrangement they had was still only temporary - it always had been.

But where once he could accept that fact, now, the thought of letting Delphine go felt strangely painful; as though she'd take a part of him with her when she left and leave him forever as scarred on the inside as he was on his outside. He shifted in his seat a bit, grimacing under his helm at the thought of seeing her walk out of the palace once and for all.

That settled it. He'd have to find some way to convince her to stay.

I was literally about to ask about asexual MC’s and Delphine…but then I realized you don’t say that the MC’s can be asexual in the current intro post where you discuss character customization and I didn’t want to make assumptions since this is your story.

Hi sweetheart,

Sex is never a requirement for any romantic interactions or routes. The sex scenes don't advance the plot at all. It's more of a lil side story for people that do want to get down with the different RO's.

The MC will have a choice as to whether or not want to pursue romance (which will be when the route lock happens, for aromantic MC's) and when sex scenes are "offered" or can be prompted, MC can always decline or choose not to initiate them. MC can also choose if they like kissing or other forms of physical affection.

So there isn't an exact label your MC's can choose because i am drowning in variables BUT the choices will always be there.

I'm trying to decide where saying "no" to sexual contact with ROs will make it so the ROs (and the script) never ask again, or if you would have to choose "no" each time so you can decide when or how often your MC wants to have sex. Idk if that make any sense.

I totally get where that shipping wars anon is coming from (I was in the Naruto fandom in the early 2010s, I still get war flashbacks), but I agree I don’t think it’ll be that big of an issue as long as it’s clear there’s no lingering feelings involved.

Personally, I feel like the vibe between them reads more as friendly exs who have both moved on, rather than them still being in love, but I’m admittedly pretty bad at this kinda stuff so I could be completely wrong 😅

I think it’d be entirely possible for Delphine and Cienna to get back together, but it wouldn’t be a thing where it’s like they see each other again and instantly want to do so— it’d require deep conversations, laying out what they both expect, etc. (It’d take a bit is what I’m getting at.) Regardless they still care for one another, they always will, which is something that’ll showcase whenever you see them interact.

Them getting back together isn’t set in stone, nor is it something that’s canon (at least that’d I’d label), like Secretary!MC isn’t canon either (in the grand scheme of things anyway), at least at the current moment in any case, so everyone is free to feel how they’d like to, you know? I just want things to be respectful throughout it all as I know there are definite Cienna simps that ship her with Secretary!MC and there’s people who ship her with Delphine… Which is more than fine! 💜

We’ll see what happens when it happens as I don’t even know. 😅
