So what animals are y’alls Tavs turning into for those polymorph/wild magic/wild shape crack shenanigans?
We know Astarion’s a goose, Karlach is a mean goat, Gale’s probably a cat/tressym, Minthara’s a displacer beast—
Dayedan is definitely a fennec fox: he’s 30% ears, 30% rage, 40% concentrated power of will. If Karlach is herself, he’s playing keep away from her because quote “I don’t CARE if that fox is actually a grown man, I will DIE if I don’t smooch his pointy little face” unqoute
They have to carry him around until the spell wears off because (like goostarion) he gets into too much trouble when left alone. Gale is scrambling to keep ahold of him as he squirms like a pissed off ferret
NPC: Oh! They’re adorable, can I pet them?
Gale: That’s extremely ill-advised, actually. He’s bitten several people just today and he will bite again.
Addition:
After he’s done being FURIOUS that he, a respectable artificer and wizard was turned into an adorable little creature and smooched within an inch of his life by a very pushy tiefling—he has a bit of an existential crisis that the spell is taking so long to wear off

Behold, my artistic interpretation of a map of Decked Out 2, Level 1: The Frozen Crypt
And of course, that room underneath as well:
I'm not an artist, but I do like making maps on occasion. I literally couldn't stop myself this time. So enjoy.
Yes, I'm aware it's not a perfect 100% replica of the lay-out (especially the tunnels), but it never would've been and I like how it turned out.
Made using inkarnate.

Annnnnnnnnnnd just like that, after nine months of in-person gaming at work, a two year and four month break, re-starting when the Pandemic granted us all a lot more free time on Roll20 and playing nearly every Sunday night from 9 - 11 for the last three years and eight months...
My players fought the final big bad and completed this campaign.
They saved the Radiant Citadel.
They made their last big choice.
They saved all of their people and moved everyone to a new world.
They epilogued each of their characters.
I have a lot to say but I'm way too exhausted to say it.
Holy shit we finished a semi-homebrew D&D campaign from levels 1 - 18. We capped the story where it was natural to cap it. We have enough dangling threads that when we miss these guys a whole lot in a year or three we can come back and take them on a followup adventure or two to make it to 20, maybe.
It was a Lot.
A lot of work. A lot of fun. A lot of time. A lot of memories.
I told them they could level to 19 for the Someday when we revisit this campaign.
We're going to start focusing on our upcoming Pathfinder 2 campaign -- Season of Ghosts.
Can't wait to do it all again.

The Spectres!
our campaign party, owners of the Trollskull manor and tavern, general disturbers of the peace, generally weird but pretty cool* once you get to know them
*this depends very heavily on your definition of cool
names under the cut
