7 + Chase x KO + Outlier! Au

The night was about to end with Knock Out´s entire existence if it wasn´t because his pedes were on automatic, to pass each night by that bar was pure torture for 2 reasons: he missed his life before graduated from med school when he was technically still young to do whatever he wanted without problem, and because the song they were reproducing was probably the worst song cybertronian race could create in all their eons of existence, including the time there were just the Primes and their creations didn´t invade the rets of the galaxy, Primus, how could people listen to that shit, KO thought when he saw people on the bar started to got out, realizing that was the song the bar used to, basically, say goodbye to the customers, maybe it was just the song at the end of the reproduction list- FRAG! WHAT WAS THAT? Oh, just a cat, how weird it was to see them on this part of town, whatever, he just wanted to go home and got into recharge.

It hadn´t passed one stellar cycle since KO and Chase moved together but KO was already planning to ask him to move again because if he saw once again the admin of the building, he will personally grab him and practice a not so done cranial surgery on the maintenance room and if he hadn´t done that is only because Chase is a police captain who works near, and a really good one, not like the last ones he had met, he wouldn´t save him just because is his conjux.

KO finally got to the door, graving his key- the door is open… frag, he was really late this time.

KO opened the door slowly, hoping it wouldn´t make a sound- it made a screech, Primus, he forgot to put oil on it, again, okay, nothing´s out of normal, except by Chase´s key on the bureau, okay, he just needed to be completely silent and hope Chase was already recharging, but first he needed a snack, today´s turn on the med bay was longer than wondered, he opened the fridge to see what could he get… frag, Chase forgot to get provisions, but it was on the calendar! Wait, what day it was? Chase never forgets something if its on the calendar, he´s a habit being, he wouldn´t, and the fridge still had things, just not how it usually is.

“Hello?” -PRIMUS, WHAT THE FRAG. KO jumped at the voice, noticing it was just Chase getting on the room, but frag, those dot orange glowing eyes don´t help in the dark “You´re late” Chase told him, turning on the lights, making KO squint his optics.

“We received a multiple accident on Iacon´s main street” KO explained, covering his optics with his servos and despite Chase sounded but didn´t mean to sound like reproaching, it was just his natural tone “Too many injured bots and the other shift was late because the street was closed.”

“I´m sorry” Chase said, for some reason, KO never understood why he says that each time he talks about things like that, but it made him feel less unsensible about it “do you want something?”

“A hug and a one eon vacation.”

“…I can give you the hug” Chase opened his arms, KO gave a little chuckle, but he was too sleepy to think correctly and just throwed himself on Chase´s arms, Chase was certainly bigger than KO, so, he felt like an upstanding berth.

“Sorry for being late, you´re probably tired too” KO murmured on Chase´s chest.

“I am, but we always go to recharge together.”

“Aw, you´re so perfect,” KO surrounded Chase with his arms “I don´t deserve you.”

“I´m not with you because you deserve me.”

“That´s makes you more perfect.”

“I´m not.”

“You are for me.”

Chase didn´t say anything, maybe because he didn´t knew what else to say or just didn´t have anything to say, but the hug passed from a simple, cute one, to a steady one, so, Chase could carry KO on the air.

“Wait, wait, wait-”

“I´m tired, and you are about to sleep in my arms.”

“I don´t have a problem with that” KO wink his optic, well, as much as he could because it was already closed.

“I do have, I need my arms” Chase replied with normalcy, making KO make his typical not angry but frustrated face, Chase turned off the lights again and throwed KO on the berth, then, he got beside him, immediately being surrounded by Knock Out´s arms again. Not a single word was said because KO was already asleep when Chase said “nice rest”, both already knew they would only wish the well to the other, and after the strange day Chase had with this gladiator, well, to get back to normalcy was a sweet taste. Primus, to be with Knock Out is a good taste.

I stg I'm kicking yall in the shins one last time, we're ALMOST done with the angst!

Let me tell you I had this finished(!) twice(!), but no, I had to go back and change it lmao

In my first go the fight scene was much more rough, it was hard for me to draw from the beginning, I'm not really good at this sort of thing. So I took a little break from the comic and when I got back to drawing the last two panels (static ch close ups) they turned out so GOOD and CRISP! I just had to go back and redraw the previous ones. Didn't change the composition back then, just made the drawings less sketchy and fixed minor mistakes. This panel in particular went through bigger fixes, I couldn't get the pose right:

I emphasized the arch in Zoro's back so it's more clear he's hunched over, the head is lower, and the hand on his stomach wasn't looking good, so I switched its direction and I feel it looks more natural now. The whole pose is shifted to the side now, whereas in the previous ones it was more straight up, but I wasn't conveying perspective well.

So after that I had it all exported, loaded into drafts and as I scroll it on my phone I'm like... There should be one more panel where Zoro's getting kicked : | Imma need to change it AGAIN.......

It just didn't flow well. I work on the comic in chunks so I haven't put these panels together before, I always saw them side by side in my main file.

I just didn't like how you go from Zoro getting kicked to him being thrown, it just felt disjointed to me.

So first I looked through the three sole volumes of BNHA that I have at home to maybe understand drawing fight scenes just a little bit better. That's how I got to the new version of Zoro getting kicked so there's more lines showing movement etc. but most importantly you have the kick and Zoro's reaction separate. So now Zoro's face has a bigger closeup, you can see his open eye.

In the previous version it was more distant, the closeup wasn't as big and you couldn't see his expression well. With just the side view you could only see he's in pain but nothing more than that,whereas when you have a full view of his face you can get much more from that. You see where he's looking, you know he's looking at Sanji when he kicks him in the guts.

I guess that's why, in the first version, I was trying to still show his face where he's being thrown off of Sanji bcs I felt the side profile wasn't doing it's job, but at the same time it felt off, like there was less force in the kick bcs his head wasn't following the movement idk. Also he was def too big in the frame. So now Zoro's smaller to emphasize the perspective more, the head is down, the right arm is more to the side and there's more lines, the flame is more aggressive now and bursts into the sides when it comes in contact with Zoro's body to show the impact. I know they could be better still, but this is the best I can do right now and I'm happy with the result!! I'm glad I kept pushing it! These poses were VERY confusing to draw lol

Alsooo, it would make more sense if Sanji threw Zoro in the other direction, over his head like in karate/judo, but I wanted to keep my directions consistent. I had to have Sanji standing back to the carriage, so he doesn't notice the spear being thrown and Zoro facing the carriage so he can get hit from the front, right after he gets up. It's like..... did he not see it? Did he get hit on purpose? You decide lmao

Though I'm probably too rigid with my 'camera', in BNHA you see the action from any and every direction, i guess it adds to the dynamism of it all, also there's just many MANY more panels in manga lmao

i need help with vet bills (again).

hi. for those of you who remember, earlier this year i asked for donations to help me afford toos' vet bills, who we found out through your help had kidney failure, and again with your help we got her on medication for it. unfortunately it wasn't enough, and we lost her. and then shortly after, dexter began deteriorating, which we put down to his grief of losing toos - she kept him young, he followed her everywhere, he only played because of her, he only ate when she ate, etc. without her he just stopped. and then he started to have seizures and fits daily. we got him blood tests, but he was suffering so badly. we made the decision to put him down. i didn't ask for donations this time, because i was so deeply embarrassed to ask for help again. but we are still recovering financially from that, as well as the parts of toos bills that didn't get covered from donations. my mother hasn't worked for a very long time, she's disabled and very sick, and she receives PIP from the government that only covers her monthly medications that are not covered by the NHS. my father retired early to become her full time carer, and we are living off his pension. i am too disabled to work, but because my mother already receives PIP and i live with them, the government are resistent to giving me any help - so i have zero income, and rely entirely on my parents.

this is jenny. she's a 14 year old cairn terrier, who loves when we garden because she wants to help dig holes. she helped us bury dexter and toos, digging their graves for them with my dads help. she's an angel, and loves people so much she likes to escape under the fence and join other families for awhile. one time she got into someones back garden and asked to come in as they were eating lunch. she really hates flies, and will try to bite them out of the air (she has never succeeded but i believe she will one day). she will rub her face against you until you start stroking her, and will growl and even bark if you stop! we don't have the money to take jenny to the vets, for a checkup or for anything they may want to do. this has been an ongoing issue, but toos and dexter took priority, and it hasn't been a bother to her. she existed as normal for a long time, but that's since changed.

jenny has this lump in her mouth, it is larger than the picture shows, but she is a nightmare to force open her mouth since this got so big, i think it's uncomfortable or painful for her. she can't properly close her lips now, and it has pushed all her front teeth away, misshaping her mouth, and sometimes it bleeds profusely. eating has become difficult for her, she can't eat anything hard, and currently will only eat soft human foods like rice, scrambled egg chopped up so small she doesn't have to chew, and things like soups and gravy. she's lost a lot of weight, and i'm getting frightened. to add onto it, i've found lumps like this across her body. i've done as much research as i can, and i believe it to be an oral tumor, it fits, and it looks right, and it spreading across her body is called 'full staging'. and going by all i've read - they will want to remove them in surgery. according to my research, this will cost anywhere from £585 - £4,740 for just the lump in her mouth. that's not including any checkup/test costs, or the other lumps on her body.

she hasn't been to the vet yet, i don't have any secure goal or bills to share, just my assumptions and beliefs from researching myself online. my parents refuse to take her because we can't afford it. i want to save up money, have it in my bank, and show them that we can help her now, before it gets worse, or it's too late. as i said before, i don't have any income, so the only way i can do this is with help.

The whole "breasts shouldn't be politicized because the primary purpose of breasts is to feed babies!" can be a fine jumping-off point, but I really wish people thought deeper than that when we talk about the ways in which bodies are politicized and restricted.

Like, why's it that when we talk about breasts, they must have some Higher Purpose? It's true that breasts aren't inherently sexual, but they aren't valuable solely because they can potentially feed a baby. A human body doesn't have to serve a Higher Purpose in order for it to not be legislated against or policed, and I just wish people would remember it isn't always about babies, about other people, about anything else other than the people who have that body.

the thing that i love so much about my relationship is that i feel absolutely zero pressure for us to be in eachother's pockets constantly. not just in the way that we like to have our own space sometimes but that i don't feel guilty for getting fixated on a project and not texting him or leaving him on read for a few hours. we have a system where i just say "i'm so sorry, i fell down the Art Hole again" and he says "that's ok, was the art hole fun, can i see what you did in there?". or if i have a feeling i'm going to draw until late at night i'll be like "pre warning, i might be in the art hole this evening" and when i'm done he's texted me goodnight anyway.
