I feel like there are a lot of people out there who needs to hear this:
If you dropped out of school because of diagnosed (or undiagnosed) ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia etc… You did not fail. The education system failed you.

Special Interest: Solving Murders
Because of Sherlock's own perversity He never went to University Despite that truncation He's good at mentation And using his neurodiversity
This may be Sherlock & Co specific, but I feel it could apply to most Sherlocks. Today's Sherlock & Co Pride prompt was "University". More on ao3!

well I guess this is a good time as any to announce that I won't be continuing the twitter page (or the tumblr). while I understand he's a person with his own interests, I'm also a person who's not interested in them.
he can keep golfing, vacationing and doing irrelevant stuff like launch a non-alcoholic beverage brand, but I won't be no longer a fan of someone who's wasting all his potential. he doesn't do anything remotely interesting and he's going to be trapped in marvel nonsense all of 2025. so yeah, good luck to those staying.
I still think he's an amazing person and actor and wish him well, just won't be trying for someone who does not make an effort to become a reputable actor. x

I haven’t done anything for uni since february and all I wanna do is just drop out but I can’t do that to my family
like they can’t have one daughter to have never had her a levels and one daughter, me, who started uni, dropped out, started studying something else, took a year longer and then decided to drop out again.
I feel like such a failure but covid hitting right when I started my second semester ruined everything. I love uni, i love studying but I’ll never get those 2 years back and I’ve just lost all motivation

Considering dropping out of university and starting an ✨apprenticeship✨
I don't know if this is a good decision, but I have the feeling that I'm not in the right place at the university.

What's the policy / process on dropping out or finishing under the wordcount after a fic has been claimed by an artist?
You need to tell your artist it's under the word count/you're dropping out first, then contact the mods. If you artist still wants to do art then they can pick a posting date to post it without you posting the fic.

Coping Strategies for Students who Dropped Out of College
If you have dropped out of college or are considering it, there are some strategies that can help you cope with the struggles that come along with this decision. Here are some ideas to keep in mind:
1. Seek Support:
It's important to remember that you are not alone. Seek out support from friends, family, or a mental health professional if needed. There are also online communities where you can connect with others who have gone through similar experiences.
2. Create a Plan:
Think about what you want to do next. Whether it's finding a job, going back to school, or pursuing a different career path, having a plan can help you stay focused and motivated.
3. Build Your Skills:
Even if you don't have a degree, there are still opportunities to build your skills and gain experience. Look for internships, volunteer opportunities, or part-time jobs that can help you develop new skills and make connections in your desired field.
4. Stay Positive:
It can be easy to feel discouraged or defeated after dropping out of college, but it's important to stay positive and focused on your goals. Celebrate small victories and remember that setbacks are a normal part of any journey.
5. Keep Learning:
Just because you've dropped out of college doesn't mean you have to stop learning. Read books, take online courses, or attend workshops to continue growing and expanding your knowledge.
Dropping out of college can be a difficult and challenging experience, but it's important to remember that it's not the end of the road. By seeking support, creating a plan, building your skills, staying positive, and continuing to learn, you can overcome the struggles that come along with dropping out and achieve your goals. Remember, success is still possible, and it's never too late to pursue your dreams.
