Little progress video of the last chapter cover. I don't usually keep progress snapshots, so it's kinda cool to watch it come together.
#Please excuse the awful video crop/editing#I don't have an easy way to make slideshows of portrait images#So I had to improvise

Making a slide presentation for the first time in years (for personal fun) and oh my god why are there no free fucking assets in the world anymore. BaCk iN mY dAy if I googled "snake icon transparent background" you'd get a whole bunch of snake icons with NO BACKGROUND LIKE I FUCKING ASKED that you could copy/paste right outta the search results
#even had to make a free account on a slide website to get a slide theme#AND THEY ALL HAVE FUCKING AI FEATURES AND I HAD TO STARE FOR A LONG ASS TIME TO DISCERN IF THE THEME I CHOSE HAD AI IMAGES#shoutout the easy access website that erases backgrounds on images. no account. no payment. copy/past your wanted image and it does the job#anyway i know have a fun slideshow of the cosmic timeline of world one for mh dnd campaign#(two different planes of existence colldied to create the campaign world. so i'm setting up what the individual worlds were like before)

ANYWAY here is my guide on how to watch missing Dr Who episodes:
WHERE TO FIND:
Animated reconstructions: TARDIS wiki has a list of episodes that have been animated here. They are all available on DVD and most are on iPlayer.
Audio reconstructions: these are the original soundtrack with linking narration. they should all be on Audible. often there's an audiobook of the novelisation and an audio reconstruction. You want to look out for the ones labelled 'original BBC television soundtrack'.
Audiovisual reconstructions: these are the audio soundtracks accompanied by any still images and surviving clips from the episode. essentially a lightly animated slideshow. There are a few official BBC ones available on DVD. Otherwise you can find these on Daily Motion or the Internet Archive. Look out for Loose Cannon's reconstructions as they are generally pretty good.
The Internet Archive also has at least some animated reconstructions and may have the audio reconstructions.
The soundtracks used for these are fanmade off air recordings of the original TV broadcasts and as such vary in quality.
BENEFITS OF EACH FORMAT:
Pros of animated reconstructions: easily the most accessible option both in terms of ease of acquisition and viewing experience. generally have superior audio quality.
Cons of animated reconstructions: animation quality is variable and a lot of people strongly dislike the visual style used. not every episode is available in animated format and there are not currently plans to animate everything. if there are any surviving clips you'll miss out onthem.
Pros of audio reconstructions: easy to acquire from Audible. if you like audio dramas and are willing to put up with rough sound quality you can just treat them as audio books.
Cons of audio reconstructions: can be difficult to follow due to the soundtrack not being designed to be experienced in this format - personally I often struggle to tell who's speaking. as above, if there are surviving excerpts you'll miss them.
Pros of audio visual reconstructions: you get all surviving clips and images. easier to follow than audio reconstructions.
Cons of audio visual reconstructions: audio quality mixed - I think a lot of the copies online are rips of VHS tapes made using off air audio recordings. some people find the slideshow format unwatchable.
HOW TO WATCH:
If you are intending to watch all of 60s Who in order: the first story with missing episodes is Marco Polo. This is a 7 part historical epic with no surviving footage. unless you are absolutely determined to watch in order, skip Marco Polo. if you decide you like reconstructions you can come back to it later.
The next stories with missing episodes are Reign of Terror and The Crusade which are both missing 2 episodes apiece. these are both good places to start with reconstructions as it's a lot easier to handle recons in small doses. you can use these to gage whether you want to persevere with the missing episodes and if so what format you find most accessible.
If you are watching out of order: as above I would recommend starting with some partial serials to see how you get on with reconstructions. The Underwater Menace and The Moonbase from s4 are some other serials that are missing 2 episodes apiece and both are a fun time.
If you want to jump into a fully missing serial I'd recommend Power of the Daleks which is Patrick Troughton's intro serial. Power of the Daleks and the missing episodes of Underwater Menace have all been animated so you have a variety of options to watch them.
& if you really want to test your abilities, look up The Daleks' Master Plan (1965-1966). 5 hours long 12 episodes 3 still in the BBC archive. godspeed.

is the new art showcase on stream automatic or do you still have to manually collect and render all the art into a looping video? i seem to remember there used to be one but it was too tedious to manually make every time
it is not FULLY automated but its much more automated than it used to be! now i literally just have to save the images into the right folder w the right name formatting (very very easy to do) and then double click a program that refreshes the slideshow. takes like 2 seconds.

Savannah Squad Presentation Night Headcanons/Drabble [3/3]
I totally didn't forget about this, I don't know what you are talking about (I'm sorry, I suck at finishing things & I don't know how to write for these two ;_;)
Part 1: Taylor & Logan Part 2: Ben & Tyler Part 3: Aiden & Ashlyn
Start of the drabble:
Thankfully, with Aiden's good laptop, there were no more technical difficulties for the rest of the night. But that in no way means the rest of the night is calm, and that is simply because Aiden has gotten up to the front of the room drip drying while setting up his presentation. Logan is then left mopping up the previous puddle he left from when Tyler dumped the entire contents of the spray bottle on him. For the betterment of the final two presentations, and Logan's floor, the spray bottle was retired for the night.
When Aiden is finished setting up, the TV practically demands for the attention of the rest of the group for none of the right reasons. It is horrendous. Astronomically so; the title of the presentation is somehow even worse.
Aiden Clark
(off topic, looking at my old art makes me want to vomit)
You see the title. That's not the bad part. The bad part is the fact that the slideshow is like thirty slides with multiple images per slide. The worst part is the fact that it's volume one. Check this man's storage, I promise you there is absolutely nothing left.
I want you to imagine you are just in a dark room with friends only lit by the TV and a small laptop screen. Imagine that, and then imagine this flashbang of a presentation popped on screen and each slide only gets progressively worse. Aiden is capable of making good presentations, he strikes me as a more artistic type, this is poorly made on purpose. Because why not.
This presentation is pretty much just going through his camera roll, but its categorized by person and gets progressively more deranged as they're section goes on. Which means the person with the longest section gets the worst of it. Which means Tyler gets the worst of it.
Like Ash got off pretty easy, Logan too. Taylor, gets the next longest section because I can see her and Aiden enabling each other to do dumb shit (one of the videos is her stuck in a traffic cone trying to get Tyler to help her out (spoiler: he didn't)), he lives with Ben so he absolutely has material on him, mainly his shit cooking. Then there's Tyler... half of the photo's aren't even of him!!! He just made dumb ass bottom text memes. They're not even funny ;_;
Aiden put his photoshop skills to work cause he is pulling up pictures like this:
He also screenshots texts too. I want to give you examples, but everything I can think of can't be put here cause I don't want to be considered weird. It's nothing bad, it's just like teenage humor. like ironic stuff.
Just think teenage boy humor, but if it was made by a decent person and wasn't problematic. Like how people would jokingly flirt with their friends and the other person is like "bro, wtf 💀"
so the presentation is just Aiden avoiding things being thrown at him while he exposes the group
(I had to tone this down because teenage humor does not translate to written word without sounding like a creep! I'm banking on the fact that you've just seen teenagers interact with each other cause then you'd get it)
Group's Reaction
the only reaction that matter's is Tyler's and you know why. You know why.
Everyone is having a good, grand ol' time laughing at each other being dumb, then there is just Tyler being raked through the mud.
The majority of the group think "yeah, my pictures are bad, but at least I'm not Tyler".
tbf, I also headcanon that Aiden shares a PE class with Tyler so he has more material. Cause exercising is somehow more embarrassing in PE. It doesn't matter how athletic you are, no one looks good when you are struggling not to face plant when doing a wheel barrel because your partner is just hauling ass across the field.
Ashlyn Banner
I need Ashlyn to drag everyone. desperately. In good fun obviously, but it just goes to show how odd everyone really is.
These are teenagers. Even though they are in awful circumstances, they still do stupid teenage shit. This is mainly revealed in the arguments that take place during hang outs and study sessions.
Her presentation is split up by how dumb she considers each conversation. Most of the conversations involve Aiden and Taylor, not because they are dumbasses, though is does play a part, but because they enable each other's dumbassery.
Ben only makes up about a slide... for obvious reasons. Part of him is relieved, but the other part wishes that he could say more to be included.
One of her favorite moments that she put in the presentation is when she overheard Logan having to explain to Aiden that 1.) the North Pole does, in fact, exist and 2.) that it is not the same thing as Antarctica when they were doing pair work in science. It took... painfully long, for the point to reach Aiden. She's not convinced it has. (I had this argument with my friend during senior year...)
^^ The argument gets brought back up because Tyler started shitting on Aiden cause of it.
Another big chunk of the presentation is just when she caught the group baby-talking Logan's cat (he has a cat cause I said so). You'd think it be Taylor, considering her general demeanor, but Tyler's the one who talks to the cat most of the time. And the cat absolutely loves him. The cat is sitting on his lap as we speak.
Logan is a person to play first person shooter games. With mic. Need I say more. (He doesn't say anything bad, but he can shit talk. It's easier since they don't know who he is lmao).
Taylor gets off easy because everything dumb that she says is on purpose. She is absolutely the person to just go with the bit, so everything she says just goes with the flow of the group. What's that? It's because Ashlyn has more of a soft spot for Taylor! What, no! I don't know what you are talking about, Aiden. Such accusations. (he is 100% correct)
Group Reaction:
Since the presentation was pretty balanced with who got made fun of, excluding Ben (ToT), everyone's having a pretty good time.
Since Ben barely had anything in the presentation, Logan had the bright idea to scroll through this guys social media posts. Mainly twitter. He struck gold at the expense of Ben.
Regarding cat point in the presentation, Ashlyn had some videos as proof. Is Tyler embarrassed? Yes. Can he do anything about it? No, he has the cat on his lap.
#school bus graveyard#sbg#school bus graveyard webtoon#sbg (webtoon)#ashlyn banner#tyler hernandez#taylor hernandez#logan fields#aiden clark#ben clark#i might edit this later#idk why but I REALLY did not want to finish this#IDK HOW TO WRITE FOR THESE TWO

—your boyfriend leon supports you after you start your new job, a drabble
masterlist taglist
an: this is so self indulgent because i just started my new job. i needed to write this though, to get it out of my system and to stay somewhat active. imagine whatever leon you desire, used re2 for aesthetic purposes <33
you were tired.
so very tired after your first day. you just wanted to crawl under the sheets and let your cramping legs wither away.
you kept running through the day with images encompassing your mind, like snapshots of the day passing through a slideshow. you had been up since 5:30 am, it was now 4:30 pm and you had just gotten home from your shift.
you were beat, worn out and just wanted to wither underneath the sheets. to just relax and not move a singular muscle. even reading, your favorite pastime, sounded tedious and the idea made your head throb.
serving senior citizens, the breakfast and lunch shift. it was rewarding but grueling, so tiring and your back ached. the coworker that you shadowed just smiled, saying; “you’ll get used to it after a while.” and you hoped, you really fucking did.
because how you would do this five days out of the week, you had no idea. you had no clue. you knew that you needed the money, that you needed the stability even though leon, your boyfriend, lived with you.
you had been financially unstable as a kid, could count on both hands how many times you’ve had to move. because rent was just too much for your single mother, or the neighbors picked a fight, or your moms terrible ex boyfriend knew you & your mothers current address.
that was enough to push you to work yourself to the bone, even leon, saying that it wasn’t a good idea. and he was a cop, he had been for two years. he’d seen shit, worked himself overtime. and if they didn’t live together, they’d never see each other. hence, them living in a one bedroom apartment together.
but if leon was telling her to slow down, to take it easy, you knew it was going to be tough. it was going to take all of you to have the life you dreamed of. going back to school in august, seemed like a pipe dream after your first day at your new job.
because how would you ever have time?
and you feared this, you feared the loss of the future that was so close in your reach but…just not within shot of your fingertips.
but you were grateful for leon, for him and just…how he made things so much better. he just loved you, supported you and knew how stubborn you were to prove yourself, despite the reassurances that you would be fine. that things would just work out, he had been in the trenches too once, as a child, he had made it out.
but you couldn’t compare your childhood to his, it was awful in different ways, it wasn’t worse. wasn’t something that could be measured. it just was. it was the past though. and you were desperate to prove yourself to leon, to your kid self deep inside of you and to the others that have told you that you wouldn’t, couldn’t do it.
because you could. and you would.
just to prove them all wrong.
you were beat.
only your second shift shadowing someone and you were a goner, your back was killing you and your feet ached. you wish you could just win the lottery sometimes so you didn’t have to work yourself to the bone just for some money.
leon was helpful, he rubbed your feet, massaged your back and pressed kisses everywhere he needed to. he was supporting you, the thought and idea alone made you want to cry. because you didn’t feel appreciated, no one had showed it up until this point. but leon had, he’d cheered you on despite his skepticism of you taking on a larger workload.
you loved him so much, so much that it hurt.
and that was maybe all worth it in some sense, to have him to come home too. it made things easier, made you feel cherished and loved, even considered in the sense that he knew what you were sacrificing.
what he sacrificed everyday he went to work and put on his uniform.
you couldn’t imagine a world without leon, in any timeline, any universe he didn’t exist, was an unlucky one. a very unfortunate one. one that you never wanted to be a part of.
in the weeks that followed as you continued your new job, he just kept saying sweet things, buying you flowers and books from your TBR list and cheering you on. “your doing great, baby. i’m so fucking proud of you.” or “i’m so grateful for you, your so appreciated.” or your personal favorite, “i love you so much, beautiful. so strong, so kind and sweet.”
and that was enough, it was enough.
even though your hands were dry from washing copious amounts of dishes, your back hurt from standing for so long or your feet were killing you, or your mind was swirled with exhaustion. it pushed you, it made you want to push forward, it was hard. but with leon loving and supporting you, holding your hand and kissing your exhaustion and stress away…it was enough.
you didn’t think that without him you would’ve made it this far, that you would’ve pushed past the boundaries that you did. but you were thankful for him, for everything he did for you.
you wouldn’t be able to push forward alone, you’d likely fall. and leon would be there to catch you…
every.
single.
time.
an: this isn’t the update i promised, i know. but i just needed to write something. to deal with this change in my life and what better way to do that then with writing something about leon??? but anyways, pls like, reblog and interact with my masterlist linked at the beginning. let me know if you wanna join my taglist (also linked). i’ll have a oneshot up soon, pinky promise. i love you all, kisses. xx

Content warning: This piece includes descriptions of eating disorders and self-harm that may be triggering to some readers.
Soon after E turned 16, she started seeing TikToks that urged her to lose weight. People in the “SkinnyTok” community called them “harsh motivation.”
Some girls printed out photos of underweight models and taped them to their fridge doors. Others shared mantras to stop eating like: “You don’t need a treat, you're not a dog.”
The phrase that stuck with E the most was “Your stomach isn’t growling, it’s applauding.” For around two months, she said she restricted calories to a dangerously low amount, because “that’s what they told me to do.”
“It felt so comforting and motivating to see those videos,” says E, who doesn’t want her name used due to privacy concerns. “There are so many accounts like these, which made me think ‘Oh yeah, this is normal’.”
It’s easy to find TikToks like the ones E described—but the platform is far from being an outlier. “SkinnyTok” is a genre of videos about weight loss, ranging from “harsh motivation” to food diaries showing what women eat to stay “lean.” It has been compared to “pro-anorexia” and “pro-eating disorder” communities that have thrived for over a decade on platforms like Tumblr. More recently, on X, pro-eating disorder groups have attracted hundreds of thousands of members through algorithmic recommendation. The groups proliferated after Elon Musk bought the platform in 2022, and users say they have flourished due to lack of moderation. TikTok says it has cracked down on these types of posts, saying pro-eating disorder content is banned on its platform and that it has taken other steps to mitigate the issue. But experts tell WIRED that both social media and the widespread nature of GLP-1 weight loss drugs (which are often advertised on the platforms) can be triggering, not only to people who are in recovery from eating disorders, but to people who have never struggled with them before.
Now, some creators are releasing videos that poke fun at the absurdity of eating disorder content in an effort to dissuade others from buying into it. But experts say it’s a fine line between using humor to debunk and punching down.
One of the first results when searching “SkinnyTok” is a slideshow set to thumping electronic music and a young woman screaming “Control yourself!” The pictures in the slideshow feature the faceless bodies and hands of thin, young white women, as well as bowls of sliced carrots and blood oranges. Superimposed over the images are some of the same weight loss mantras E recalls. It has more than a quarter of a million views. According to TikTok’s tools for advertisers, videos with the “SkinnyTok” hashtag have been viewed over 53 million times in the past week. The advice ranges from the benign, like loading up on protein at the beginning of the day, to promoting extreme calories deficits and other forms of disordered eating in pursuit of thinness. Some women show “before” pictures and talk about how they lost dozens of pounds.
A 2021 survey of 273 women who used TikTok found that 64 percent had been “exposed to disordered eating content” on the “For You” page of the platform. TikTok has since added a feature to show eating disorder recovery resources to users who search terms associated with them, including “SkinnyTok.” The resources do not appear when searching for “harsh motivation,” which directs users to “harsh food motivation” and “harsh body motivation.” The platform also said it adjusted its algorithm to interrupt repetitive patterns of videos about weight loss.
In a statement to WIRED, TikTok says the 2021 survey “has significant limitations, does not reflect the experience of our community, and was conducted three years ago. We continually enhance our platform and policies to promote a positive and safe experience, and regularly consult with experts, remove content that violate our policies, and provide access to supportive resources.” TikTok also removed one video WIRED flagged that promoted skipping meals and drinking water instead.
But four practitioners tell WIRED patients in eating disorder recovery still bring up TikTok and “SkinnyTok” trends. Dr. Lauren Breithaupt, a Harvard Medical School clinical psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist who specializes in eating disorders, says “patients are reporting specific TikTok and Instagram trends that amplify their anxiety or trigger disordered behaviors.”
“Today’s adolescents don’t need to seek out pro-eating disorder content,” she adds. “It finds them.”
Eating disorders have the second-highest mortality rate of any mental health-related disorder. They have been on the rise worldwide for decades, doubling in the general population from 2000 to 2018. Then, between 2018 and 2022, health visits for eating disorders doubled in the US for kids and teenagers. In addition to the growing role of social media, weight loss drugs like Ozempic have become more accessible and popular. They have also been linked to eating disorders, with practitioners reporting that some patients are developing them after they begin taking GLP-1 drugs.
Breithaupt said there’s not one singular cause for an eating disorder, which involves biological, social, and psychological factors.
“But are there certain individuals where this overwhelming amount of content could lead to more disordered eating or down that path? Yes,” she says, adding that once someone engages with that content, the algorithms ensure that they see more.
E’s body image problems started when she was 12, but got worse because of social media. She says she first got on the internet to find ways to lose weight and found 15-minute workouts to do in the days leading up to wearing a swimsuit. “They would promote very underweight girls and make it seem like they were the ‘normal’ body. When I realized I don’t look like that, it made me feel bad,” E says.
Registered dietician Michelle Pillepich says SkinnyTok videos are often presented as if they’re promoting good health, but they’re actually regressive.
“It’s packaged in this message of ‘This is just to feel good, just to help you feel confident,’ but is selling and promoting weight stigma and bringing us back to the message of ‘thin makes you happy and you have to be skinny to be healthy,’” she says. “I thought we knew that thinness and health are not equal, but that’s really the message being sent again.”
During the Covid-19 pandemic, at the height of TikTok’s popularity, Pillepich started posting her own TikTok videos. Some of them “took off and got a lot of traction,” and she has almost 15,000 followers now. She sees the platform as an opportunity to share information about nutrition and eating disorders.
In early April, Pillepich posted a video asking viewers to “tell me the craziest most unhinged thing you did to motivate yourself to recover from an ED or disordered eating. I don’t mean ‘for my family.’ I mean the wildest thoughts that helped you eat when you really didn’t want to.” Nearly five million people watched and over 14,000 left comments. Some of the most-liked ones are, “a nail tech told me that she was going to start charging me extra cause ‘making gastric acid nails cute is hard,’” and, “For a while I imagined the ED thoughts being said by Trump so I wouldn’t wanna listen to them.”
“I am finding it very hopeful,” Pillepich says. “People do want to recover, they do want to feel better in their relationship with food.”
Around the same time Pillepich posted her video, E came across a creator named Stephen Imeh who she says was “unglamorizing” eating disorders with his blunt TikToks.
One of Imeh’s popular videos shows pictures of burgers, donuts, and other dishes as a retort to the idea that “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” His content regularly gets hundreds of thousands to millions of views.
Imeh, 19, a Houston-based college student, was initially drawn to a social media trend called “looksmaxxing,” where men and boys strive to improve their facial appearance down to the shape of their nose, jawline, eyes, and hairline. “Looksmaxxing” promotes tongue exercises, sucking in your cheeks, getting plastic surgery and disordered eating.
After posting a “looksmaxxing” video, Imeh, who is Black, says he received racist comments, including ones telling him to “just be white.” Upon realizing that the community was “toxic and racist,” Imeh pivoted to anti-looksmaxxing content and then stumbled on “SkinnyTok” and pro-eating disorder communities on X.
“It’s way easier to find SkinnyTok, eating disorder TikTok, than recovery,” Imeh said. “I went for a different approach, telling them the side effects and what could happen if you’re not eating.”
Imeh’s videos mention more extreme potential health outcomes of eating disorders, like organ failure and hair loss. But he also sometimes mocks the messaging found in pro-eating disorder communities. In one TikTok, he’s eating with a text overlay that says “none of your friends are gonna be jealous that your Ed made you look like a skeleton baby pick up the fork.”
Imeh says he’s not trolling, but stating “literal facts” that he doesn’t sugarcoat. “One thing I noticed in Gen Z, especially my generation, is that they will only stop doing something if they’re embarrassed by it,” he says.
“I got a lot of people emailing me and DMing me like ‘Stephen you’ve helped me so much with my eating disorder.’” He has over 70,000 followers, many of whom began following him after he took on eating disorder communities.
Pillepich says she can see a modern, “chronically online” approach working to redirect attention and ideally get people who need it into recovery.
“Leading with nuance doesn’t get people’s attention. It does have to be more extreme, more funny, whatever it is,” Pillepich said. “If that gets someone to the first step of seeing a dietician, a therapist, working on the deeper issues, then that’s great, too.”
Breithaupt said that content that is too judgmental or makes people with eating disorders feel ashamed could make them less likely to get help. “The most effective anti-ED content tends to validate the pain beneath the disorder while still rejecting the behaviors,” she says.
“When content creators use humor or mockery to push back against pro-ED culture, there’s a real risk that viewers—especially those actively struggling—won’t just see the disorder being criticized, they’ll feel like they are being mocked.”
E said that TikTok content like Imeh’s helped her realize how “stupid” SkinnyTok was. She said she has started watching eating disorder recovery content, instead. But the algorithm still shows her “harsh motivation” for weight loss in addition to recovery videos.
In late 2024, TikTok banned a controversial weight loss influencer whose content glorified extreme thinness. E thinks TikTok should ban more of “SkinnyTok,” although pro-eating disorder communities have historically migrated to other platforms when that happens.
Eating disorder recovery practitioners say that posting anti-”SkinnyTok” videos on the same platform is likely helpful, but that it’s only a first step.
“What I work with most people on is limiting social media,” Breithaupt said. “Doing something else rather than engaging in social media is more helpful toward recovery, even if you’re watching recovery-oriented videos.”

I kind of think "art is MEANT to be grueling, you just don't have the integrity to pick up a pencil and learn how to do it the hard way - you expected it to be easy and gave up" is the wrong way to go about people expressing that they'll never be artistic by their own merit, but they always wanted to make something. A lot of people already conceptualize art as something that sits on an impossibly high shelf. There's no cure-all sentiment to this across everyone - for a lot of people, it's because they think of the only art that is worthy of making and showing others as something that is in the ballpark of photorealistic rendering. You don't always need to work harder - sometimes you have to be less proud and think of it less stringently to specific channels. You're going to have to make them stick figures. You're going to have to make your main character a pet rock. You're going to have to use RPGmaker as a template to set up scenes to screenshot to form the panels of your webcomic. You're going to have to cobble together free to use assets. You're going to have to put stock images with "Goth girl: Ummmm…. (hijacks a plane)" text over them into a slideshow and upload to YouTube. You're going to have to log into Animal Jam, dress up your animal like your OCs, and type the dialogue into the chat box so it shows up in speech bubbles. You're going to have to break out the video camera and the Littlest Pet Shop figurines.

AmpCast AI Review: Can One Tool Really Do All Your Content Marketing?
Let’s face it — content marketing is exhausting.
Between writing blog posts, recording videos, making social media graphics, editing podcasts, and keeping up with platform trends, it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly playing catch-up. And if you're running a business or personal brand solo, good luck staying consistent without burning out.
So when I heard about AmpCast by AmpiFire, a platform that claims to turn one piece of content into multiple formats — and then publish them across different platforms — I had to check it out.
Here’s my honest review after giving AmpCast a try.
What Is AmpCast?
In short, AmpCast is a multi-format content repurposing and distribution tool. You feed it a single piece of content — say, a blog post, product description, or video script — and it transforms that into:
A written article
A podcast episode
A video (long-form or short-form)
Infographics or slideshows
Social media posts
And more…
But it doesn’t stop there. AmpCast also distributes that content to platforms like:
YouTube
Spotify
Business Insider
Pinterest
News sites
It’s like a done-for-you content engine powered by AI, but with a human editorial layer to polish everything before it goes live.
Visit in-depth review of AmpCast: https://sites.google.com/view/ampcast-ai-reviews/
My Experience Using AmpCast
I submitted a blog post I had written on content repurposing — around 900 words. Within a few days, I got back a complete package of content:
An article ready for publication
A branded podcast episode
A short YouTube-style video
Infographic slides for Pinterest
A social media caption and image
Honestly, I was impressed by the quality. The podcast audio wasn’t robotic — it had a decent voiceover that sounded natural enough for a casual audience. The video reel had clean visuals and pulled out the key points really well.
Of course, I still did some light edits — especially for tone — but it saved me hours. That’s the big win here.
👍 What I Loved
Huge time savings: No need to create 10 separate content pieces from scratch.
Multi-platform publishing: Your content gets more reach without extra effort.
SEO + authority boost: Getting featured on sites like Business Insider adds real credibility.
Done-for-you option: Their team reviews and finalizes content, which keeps quality in check.
👎 What Could Be Better
Price point: It’s not cheap. Great for businesses or creators with a budget, but probably not ideal for someone just starting out.
Customization: You can’t control every detail unless you request revisions, so if you’re super specific about brand voice, you might need to tweak the output.
Turnaround time: It’s fast, but not instant. It takes a few days to receive your full content set.
Final Thoughts: Is AmpCast Worth It?
If you’re a solopreneur, coach, consultant, or content marketer who’s tired of juggling a million platforms — AmpCast could be a game changer.
It’s not magic, and it doesn’t eliminate the need for a good strategy, but it does remove most of the grunt work. And for people who want to scale their visibility without building a huge team, that’s a massive advantage.
I’d say AmpCast is ideal if:
You want to reach more people without creating more content
You’re looking to build authority through published content
You’re comfortable investing in a tool that saves time and increases output
If that sounds like you, it’s definitely worth a closer look.

hurt/comfort prompt number 3 for kiseki: dear to me 💕
hurt/comfort prompts 🌸
“Don’t go…” “I won’t. I’ll be right here if you need me.”
🌸
Ai Di fucking hated this. He hated the clawing sensation under his skin and the sick weight in the pit of his stomach as he desperately tried to reign in his wayward emotions in the dim light of dawn. He should be asleep, should've fallen asleep hours ago, but sometimes his mind didn't get the memo and he became trapped in an endless cycle of memories - usually ones he'd rather forget. Why couldn't he ever lie awake thinking of all the positive memories he'd created with Chen Yi these past few months?
No, of course that would be too easy. Instead he sat here with the image of every missed birthday, every letter that was never sent, every dismissal rotating behind his eyes like a cruel slideshow of regret. If he could find the projector he'd fucking smash the shit out of it. But he wouldn't because the source of each memory was Chen Yi and they were better now.
Weren't they?
He could hear the shower in the next room distantly through the door and normally the scent of the body wash would offer him some modicum of comfort, but tonight it only tormented him further. It reminded him of a stolen night over four years ago and the words that haunted him intermittently ever since.
Ai Di will get upset again if he hears us.
How many times had Chen Yi said that before? How many people had he taken into his room and hidden from him? Why had that slipped out so fucking naturally? Why couldn't he just fucking let it go?
He turned his head into his pillow and grasped the screen printed one to his chest, trying to slot it against his sternum to alleviate the annoying ache. He'd been just as cruel if not moreso, especially when he returned. He shouldn't still be here wallowing in these stupid feelings when he finally had everything he ever wanted.
Ai Di suppressed a soft sniffle as he heard the bathroom door open and felt Chen Yi settle at the edge of the mattress. He tried to seem like he was sleeping, like he wasn't awake in a prison of his own making. He forgot sometimes how observant Chen Yi was now, how he never took his eyes off him again.
"I know you're not sleeping. Why are you awake?" The warm palm against his hip chased away some of the gnawing dread and finally Ai Di felt like he could pull in a proper breath.
"Can't sleep." He offered, turning to lay on his back as he opened his eyes. He hated that his eyelashes felt wet and he knew it wouldn't go beyond Chen Yi's notice.
Sure enough, he felt his calloused thumb wipe gently beneath his eye and it had him swallowing another hitch in his breath.
"What's wrong?" Chen Yi has always been of few words but it meant he always got straight to the point.
"It doesn't matter. You have a job to get to." Ai Di muttered, instantly moving as if to roll over and give Chen Yi his back. He shouldn't have been surprised when he felt Chen Yi curl up behind him, slotted against him from shoulder to hip and impossibly warm from the shower.
"Ai Di." Fuck.
"Just.. Can you stay?" Chen Yi was the boss now, he didn't have time to indulge in shit like this, and fuck, Ai Di should probably go with him anyway. "Don't go." His mouth always had a habit of working faster than his brain and this time was no different, apparently.
"I won't, not if you don't want me to. Can you tell me what's wrong? Did I do something?" His breath was so warm against the back of his neck, his embrace so sure and strong, that Ai Di slowly found himself wondering what he'd been so upset about in the first place. Chen Yi was here, slotted against him so perfectly, as if there was never anywhere else he'd ever be.
Slowly, Ai Di turned around again and groaned, pressing his forehead against Chen Yi's bare chest and inhaling the scent of him, freshly washed.
"It's fucking stupid, don't worry about it." But still his arms circled Chen Yi's waist and held him close with no intention of letting go. "Just dumb memories."
"I'm sorry." The soft kiss against his forehead felt like a cleansing fire, burning away the last of his doubt and remorse.
"Me too."

My writing sources
Peep the Arcane themed gif (it's the only thing on my mind rn other than my WIP)
Anyway, I know no one asked but I think this might be helpful to anyone writing any form of story, so here are the sources I use!
Google Drive - I use google drive for everything! I find it really organizing to have everything in a folder, and it's also easy to upload files without taking up space on my actual computer
Google docs - I literally write everything on here. From character outlines to plot, to world history and geography. Also having it connected to my google drive makes everything easier to access.
Notion - Notion is literally so aesthetic and I use it to help organize the cities in my fantasy world so that it's not all jumbled up. It's easy to insert a bunch of images and it is also easy to get the hang of.
Inkarnate (free) - I use this website to make my fantasy world map. It's so cool and once I get an official look of my map I'll post it on here!
Miro - I use this to make a plot web. I would love to be one of those aesthetic writers who have the cork board and connect the lines, but for me everything is much easier digitally, so Miro is the best option for me!
Canva - Idk! I love making slideshows. So, in order for me to organize what I do know and what I don't know about my world, I make a canva slideshow and I make a timeline of world events. Canva is also very easy to make it pretty and aesthetic.
Behind the name - Helps with finding names from different cultures and their meanings.
Fantasy Name generators - I use this website when I need a quick name for something that really won't be important, but it's good for me to know as a writer.
@/ World building Question of the day - I love this page (here on tumblr!) It helps me think of things I didn't even realize I wanted / needed to know about the world my story is set in. Before I write I normally answer 10-12 of their questions as a warm up before getting into the nitty gritty.
And yeah! Thats all! I hope this helps anyone! :)

Here's a general YouTube search tip for everyone that extends far beyond music. This only works in the web version right now, but if you ever want to exclude YouTube shorts from your search, it's easy. But it's also a *tiny* bit confusing, so let me explain:
I've been quietly working on a big playlist project this whole year for this blog in which I'm gathering videos of a whole bunch of my favorite songs that I've collected over the years. Live performances, music videos, AMVs, video montages, pretty much anything as long as there's a moving image in it and it's not a cover, a slideshow, or one of those dreaded reaction videos 😒. And I also have absolutely no desire for shorts either, but tend to find my searches cluttered with them anyway, even if I go in the top right corner and click the filter button and select 'Video' in the 'Type' column like below, so my search doesn't have other unwanted results in it, like channels, playlists, or movies too.
But when I conduct my search like this...
I still inevitably see shorts in my results ☹:
So here's the super easy, but also not totally intuitive thing that you can do about it: you'd think filtering by video in the above method would do the same exact thing as simply entering your search and then clicking the 'Videos' button between the search bar and your results, but apparently, they don't. Apparently, these are actually two different functions that do two different things. And simply clicking that 'Videos' button between the search bar and your results *will* eliminate shorts!
Look:
See, not a single short to be found! Don't you wish that YouTube could've communicated something like that more clearly?
Happy searching, people! 🔎
